Santa’s Elf

I know we don’t all Believe in Christmas, but we all Believe in Santa Claus, Right? We’re mixing our Metaphors a little here, Confusing Solstice with Christmas, but we won’t be the first by any means. Confusion is the First Stage of Growth after all. We interpret asteroid Artesian as a Powerful Aid to Manifestation, so we can think of Artesian as Santa’s Elf. The Unconscious operates by Association rather than Cause An Defect, so already having an Astrologic License, we don’t need a Poetic License.

In Carl Jung’s thinking, Cause an Defect is to Logic, as Association is to the Rest of Life. In those terms, there isn’t really much covered by Cause an Defect, is there. Kind of shows us how far off the Mark Western Civilization is, with it’s Denial of Intuition and Nature and Magic. Magic just means we don’t know How it will occur. The Capricorn Solstice, as the New Year in the Perennial Wisdom, is the primary Initiatory event for the coming Year, and the chart for the Solstice at 0 Degrees is the same chart as the chart for the Station of Artesian at 29 Degrees. Almost.

The Solstice occurs with Artesian Stationary, so we can certainly say that 2023 will be an Artesian Year, a year for Amplifed Manifestation. But Artesian isn’t quite done with Leo yet – it turns Retrograde on the Cusp of Virgo, so by the time the Sun enters Capricorn a day later, Artesian is moving the other way. It hasn’t moved far, only 12 arcseconds, three thousandths of one Degree or nine millionths of the Zodiac. Nevertheless, it’s a Near Miss. Artesian doesn’t turn Direct again till April, and it doesn’t get back to the Cusp of Virgo till mid-year.

It means that if we’re Disappointed during 2023 by a False Alarm or an Almost-Manifestation, we want to Focus Deeply on our Disappointment for about twelve seconds, just so we don’t Stuff the Experience of the Feeling, before we Get Excited and start Celebrating what we’re about to Manifest. After a thousand steps Forward, don’t let two steps Backward get you down. Our Compass was just a little off those last few steps, and we were about to hurt our shoulder on the doorjamb. Two steps back to get it just right is exactly what we’re here for!

One of the biggest Obstacles to our Manifestation is that we get too Focused on our Expectations. When we’re trying to Manifest something we’ve never Manifested before, we actually have no idea what it’ll really Look like when we see it. We could Look right at it and walk on by. We can’t help but have a Mental Image of What We Want, but we have to strip that Image naked and beyond, to get to How It Feels. When we’re Open to How It Feels, we’ll Recognize it immediately. How it Looks is 2D, a black and white snapshot. How It Feels is nD, aka Real Life.

We can see that Clearly in the Salacia Station chart that we covered in the previous two posts. Asteroid Ganesa, Remover of Obstacles, is in the Salacia Grand Cross, Debating with (Opposite) our Karma, in particular our Karma about Global Warming et al (Pholus-Quaoar). Remember that Pootin’s War has become a symbol for Global Warming et al, including Demise of the Patriarchy, Collapse of the Planet-Destroying aspects of Western Civilization, etc. etc. So that comes down to the Choice between Focusing on our Expectations (Karma) or on Allowing Obstacles to What We Want to Be Removed (Ganesa).

The other Opposition in the Salacia Grand Cross was between Salacia and Kassandra, as we mentioned in our Forgotum. Salacia symbolizing our Commitment to Ascension and Kassandra our Not Quite Fully Believing our own Commitment, that is, the Unconscious Karma that makes Obstacles to our Commitment. As Bob says, “Somewhere in that Quantum Field is a wide open Gate, but it is a Feeling, not the analysis of the extraordinarily complicated fine print in the contract we signed prior to incarnation as Lightworkers in this lifetime! We just have to capture it and hold on to it like grim death!” [or like Ecstasy!]

An Artesian Spring is one that has enough natural Pressure that it Bubbles up on its own, without being pumped. Shamans sometimes do their Magic by Sucking out a Malady and then Blowing In a New Dream or Trance to replace it. Shamans need enough Power that they don’t Take On the Malady as they Spit it Out. We can use an Artesian Spring in the same fashion – Imagine the Spring Bubbling into the Malady, rinsing it out, and then Bubbling in a Whole New Trance, carried on Pure Water straight from Mother Goddess Earth.

Try it. It Works. We don’t even need to Worry about having enough Power to Reject the Malady, we can Trust Mother Earth to Compost it. And we don’t need to Name the Unconscious Obstacles to our Commitment. We just need to let Artesian Bubble them Out and rinse them away, and let Artesian Bubble in that Feeling that we have about What We Want. For instance, if we can’t help but Want Everyone Else to Ascend First, we could Bubble Out that Expectation and Bubble In the Recognition that We Came Here to Lead the Charge through Our Example.

The 19 December Salacia Station and 20 December Artesian Station¹ are only a day apart. If we were doing a chart for “someone,” say, Baby Solstice aka Miss 2023, born on 21 December,² we’d definitely include both of those Stations in the chart. And obviously the two other planets that are slowing down to Station on the 24th, Thereus³ (Relentless Teacher) and Sappho⁴ (Unconditional Self-Love), they’d be important parts of the chart too. And we’d want to consider the impending 23 December Moon-Sun Conjunction.⁵ These Energies would all be Merged into the Entity which will be born as 2023.

• You’d think by now I can tell NEW Moons from FULL Moons. I think it’s about Attention! And if it’s an Intuition, as Errors often are, what does it Indicate? I just started thinking of a Full Moon as an Initiation of a process that would Culminate at the Third-Quarter Moon. Hmmm. I Wonder.
• The Moon is In Bounds till 3:13 am PDT (11:13 am BST in England and 8:13 pm AEST in Eastern Oz) 16 September 2022 in 8 Gemini, when it moves Out of Bounds (Hupersons tend to be more Excitable) over the Northern Hemisphere, till 3:40 am PST 21 September.
• Have we mentioned that asteroid Lachesis (Unexpired Karma that We Can Consciously Let Go Of ) returned In Bounds on 8 September? That may make it a little harder to Let Go of Active Karma, but Persistence is Recommended, because All Karma is Vulnerable since it Died with Linear Time in 2012. We hold on to our Karma because it’s so Familiar and Comfortable, even when it’s untoward. We hold on to Linear Time because the rest of the World still Lives in the Yangtegrity Patriarchy. We hope you’re continuing to Minimize your Commitments, Renegotiate When you Can, and Make Amends When Renegotiation Is Not Possible and the Relationship Is Worth Keeping, as we Recommend as a crutch for our Yintegrity till we can hang out There All Day.
• Of course, without Linear Time astrology is up a certain creek without the appropriate Tool to move on, but it still seems to be Useful, right?
• Speaking of Karma, Out of Bounds asteroid Karma moves into Sagittarius (The Way Out Is Letting Go) “for good” (till it moves on into Capricorn) at 1am PDT (9am BST, 6pm AEST) on the Ides of September. Except for dipping a toe into Sadge in March and April, it’s been Dancing in Scorpio (The Way Out is Through, often Excruciatingly) since last December. It won’t return In Bounds (Less Intensity), though, till next March. It will be Rubbing Our Faces in our Emotional Baggage from July to October next year, though, as it Retrogrades in Pisces (Clearing Expired Emotions).
• Out of Bounds Dwarf planet Asbolus (Enhanced Intuition) moves into Cancer 11pm PDT 15 September (7am BST, 4pm AEST, both 16 September), which should make us a bit less Judgmental.
• Asteroid Tantalus moves into Leo today (11 September 2022) at 6pm PDT (2am BST, 11am AEST, both tomorrow). The SuperPower of Tantalus is to Teach us to Relish Desire more than we Appreciate its Consummation. Small wonder it shares a root with Tantric. Here’s an excellent example of the Challenge or Victim, or Shadow, side of this Dimension…

The 3am PDT (11am BST, 8pm AEST) 10 September 2022 Full Moon was in 18 Pisces. While they’re quite busy during the event, we Expect the New and Full Moons to see their primary Impact over the following several weeks, including an Energy Peak approximately a week after the event. In this case that’ll be the neighborhood of 3pm PDT 17 September (11pm BST, 8am AEST 18 September), at the Third Quarter Moon (the Waning Sun-Moon Square). The Energy Peak should mirror what we’re writing about below, perhaps with its own Embellishments.

However, by 17 September we’ll be deep into Climage Change et al (Stations of Quaoar and Pholus 18-19 September). Remember what the et al stands for? We had a list once, but I can never find it. I know it included all of the Main Effects that are Rapidly Changing these days – Gender Balance and Inclusion, Rejection of War as Barbaric, Racial Equality, Consciousness about Pollution, Death Throes of the Patriarchy, and of course all the accouterments of the End Times – Pestilence, Famine, War, Locusts, all the Fun things we associate with the Apocalypse. It’s important to Remember, though, that Karma Is Expectation. When we see certain Happenings, we Expect certain ills to follow. When we Change our Expectations, we Change our Karma.

Interesting that so many Voices are Recalling the Abuses of Colonialism. Just one example – a Carnegie Mellon Professor of Language put it thus, “If anyone expects me to express anything but disdain for the monarch who supervised a government that sponsored the genocide that massacred and displaced half my family and the consequences of which those alive today are still trying to overcome, you can keep wishing upon a star,” referring to her Experience in Nigeria.

The Full Moon Conjoins dwarf planet Nessus (Abuse and Privilege). If Abuse and Privilege are the end points of a Dimension, what would we call the Dimension? How about Equality. The Full Moon has two not-really-Self-Resolving, but Much-Enhanced Challenges or SuperPowers,¹ depending on our Approach to them. One of them Suggests that our best Defense against Abuse is Self-Love.² The other is about Making a Safe Home in Our Body for Our Soul by Attending to our Self-Sovereignty.³

So, if a Full Moon is an Initiation of a Process that becomes Evident at the Third-Quarter Moon, what might we Predict for 17 September? Maybe some major News about Sovereignty? Or about Respect for Nature? Dwarf planet Altjira T-Squared the Full-Moon Axis at the Full Moon, and Altjira is Stationary on 18 September, peaking at 11:20 pm PDT in 19 Gemini.

Pattern-Busting Full Moon

Margery asks if we could show a picture of the 6:36 pm PDT 11 August 2022 Full Moon chart, which we could call a Ball-of-Yarn configuration, as it would keep a Cat occupied till nap time. We actually call it a Grand Unx – an “unx” is one twelfth of something, and a “grand” fills the Zodiac, so a Grand Unx is twelve planets equally spaced around the Astroloop. Yes, we could always get one of these if we use enough asteroids, and we use quite a few, but it’s been quite a while since we’ve seen one, so it’s not as facile as it seems. The main feature is twelve Unx Angles, each of which indicates Pattern-Breaking, so it’s a chart worth celebrating, especially as these Heavy Energies that so many people are reporting are Lighting Up everything in our Karma that we haven’t Cleared yet.

Just a few Examples…

• Karma is dead; it died with Linear Time ten years ago. But we’re all still clinging to its corpse. Whenever a polyp of Karma breaks off and falls away, we Feel Weird, we don’t know what’s happening, and our name isn’t even Mr. Jones. We reach out for the familiar, to Anchor ourself. What’s familiar? Our Karma! So we Embrace those old Comfortable Patterns enthusiastically, as if they were our favorite snacks! But Looky Here! That so-very-Intense Exaggerated Karma Frosted with the Emotions We’d Rather Die than Feel (asteroid Karma Out of Bounds on the South Node) is Unx to (one Sign from) New Beginnings (asteroid Klotho)! So without even trying, we can Break this Pattern of Grasping our Dead Karma – all we need to do is Announce our Intention to Let Our Dead Karma Go like a Hot Potato Instead!
• But wait! We’ve all Wrapped our Identity around our Karma – it’s inevitable. Our Karma is Who We Are, so no matter how nasty it is, we’re Ego-Attached to it. If we haven’t yet caught ourself Bragging about our Karma, we need to start Listening to what we’re saying! We can Intend to Let It Go, but what about the Ego Death – those aren’t Fun! What’s on the other side of Karma-South Node? Asteroid Narcissus (Overfocus on our Identity)! So without even trying, we can Break this Pattern of Ego-Identifying with our Karma – all we need to do is Announce our Intention to Experience our Ego Deaths Lovingly and Gently so We Can Be Excited about the Glorious Freedom we’ll Enjoy once we do!
• But Hold On! What about our Abuse Karma and all of the Unconscious Limitations that we use to Protect ourself from those Memories (Nessus-Vesta-Heracles) that we’ve buried so deep in the Dungeon that we don’t even know they happened? Well, Trusting our Instincts Unquestioningly (Saturn-Moon) Unxes that Stellium (Nessus-Vesta-Heracles), so without even trying, we can Break this Pattern of Being Triggered for no apparent reason – all we need to do is Vow from now on to Act on our Instincts Immediately, without Questioning them and without ever Explaining them, no matter how Weird we think it’ll look to others.
• But Shit, when I’m Triggered I’m usually Feeling Depressed and Powerless, and my Instincts are nowhere in sight! Often I Feel Depressed and Powerless and I don’t even know when or how I was Triggered! I usually think it’s “just me” that’s Depressing and Powerless. But on the other side of Nessus-Vesta-Heracles, it’s Unx to Despair and Miracles (Chiron). Well, we know how to Poor Sweetheart ourself out of Despair and Create Miracles, but when we’re Depressed and Powerless, we’re Regressed to whatever Bummers we’re Unconsciously Reliving. When we Regress, we Forget everything we’ve Learned since those Repressed Bummers happened! So without even trying, we can Break this Pattern of Forgetting What We Know – all we need to do is Vow from now on that when we’re Regressed we’ll Remember All of the Tools We’ve Learned to Restore our Current-Life Identity, like Poor-Sweethearting!

No Wonder the Energies Feel Heavy!! Can you Imagine how the other eight Unxes might play out?

Apart from the Glories of the Grand Unx, the Big Deal about this Full Moon is that it “Squares the Nodes.” What does that mean?

• Well, the Nodal Axis – South Node to North Node – is the most important Axis in a chart, as it indicates the Source, Direction, and Destination of “the Native” (the person or event for which the chart is drawn). In this Full Moon, the Source is a Karmic Hellhole, the Destination is Reunion of Day-to-Day Identity with Soul, and the Direction is from Emotional Overload to Stability.¹
• At any Full Moon, our Inner Male and our Inner Female are Face-to-Face, where as much as they are able, they can be Honest about the Quality of their Union. In Carl Jung’s approach to Psychology, which we applaud, the Perfection of this Union is more or less equivalent to Enlightenment, thus a Key Ingredient of our 5D Endeavors.
• The “Square” means that these two Critically Important Axes sit at Right Angles to one another, meaning in applied mathematics that they are Independent – they do not Influence one another under the radar. So our Purpose (Nodal Axis) and our Integrity (Inner Harmony) are a priori Unrelated, and each can Operate and Negotiate without Unconsciously Compromising themself.

Notice how different this is than the conventional astrological interpretation of a Square – as a Crisis. In a Left-Brain Patriarchal Culture, the very idea of Surrendering Power to the Female is Anathema. In this blog we’ve been inching toward interpreting Squares as Superpowers rather than Challenges. We don’t mean that the Challenges go away. In the previous post we averred that “If We Aren’t Ready to Receive What We’re Asking For, the Universe Will Show Us Examples of Why We Aren’t.” If we Experience our Squares as Superpowers, we’re Ready to Receive What We Want. If we Experience them as Challenges, the Universe is Clarifying for us Exactly what we still need to Let Go Of in order to Support Ourself without Unconscious Compromise, aka without Self-Sabotage.

The Loud and Clear Message in this particular Full Moon is that The Most Important Thing is to Trust our Instincts.² Jung used to say that people who emphasized Thinking were not Rational, because they weren’t in touch with their Values (which are accessed through Emotion). In an Ideal Lifetime, our Inner Female calls the shots (assuming She’s in touch with Her Feelings), and our Inner Male follows Her lead. That’s Inner Female and Inner Male – any Relationship between actual Living People needs relative Equality in both Vision and Action, as each person will contribute Vision from their own Inner Female, and each person will contribute Action from their own Inner Male.

A Grand Unx is so incredibly rich that we’ve only begun to scratch the surface. Full Moon Energies are usually Prominent for several weeks afterward, so we have time, and we’ll Dive Deeper in the next post.

Scary Lunar Eclipse I

This week is all about Sign Changes…

• Asteroid Juno entered Capricorn Sunday 14 November 2021. Juno is about Growth in Consciousness. Since late December 2020 we’ve been Growing our Awareness of What We Needed to Let Go Of (Juno in Sagittarius). Now, till early March 2022, we get to Plug in Candidates for Refilling those Holes in Our Lives (Juno in Capricorn) that Have Been Created by All That Letting Go. Voids are seldom comfortable, so I suspect that, like me, you’ve been working overtime trying to Fix the Holes Where The Rain Gets In, with less success than you would have liked, because it wasn’t time yet. That should be Changing. Yay!
• Asteroid Karma entered Scorpio Monday 15 November. Boo! Like Frank said to Ernest, I just get my budget in order, and along comes a big surprise, like rent, or a weekend. So as they so often do, our killjoy Ancient Habits (asteroid Karma) are already pushing and shoving their way into the Holes. But this is not without Purpose. Scorpio is Relentless about Getting to the Bottom of Things. So while Juno in Sadge went home with our marbles, now we get to deal with our Addiction to our Routines. Joe Dispenza’s free series of four short workshops (still available at https://experience.hayhouseu.com/redesigningyourdestiny-video1-whereyourattentiongoes/) is about exactly that, and it’s Right On. It’s also an excellent time to reread Gay Hendricks’s The Big Leap. Asteroid Karma (“a.Karma”) has been in Libra – I hope you Deepened your most important Relationships rather than Fleeing them – since only the last few days of August, so at least the torture was short-lived. a.Karma will be done unearthing skeletons by February 2022¹.
• Asteroid Vesta enters Sagittarius Tuesday 16 November. Make up yer mind, Universe! Are we Building or Dismantling? It’s always Both/And, isn’t it. If we didn’t have Apoptosis, we’d get even fatter every day than we already do. Vesta is about Our Limiting Beliefs. These days it’s only spending about two months in each Sign. So the last two months we’ve been furiously hammering away at the Beliefs that Most Limit us (Vesta in Scorpio), and we’re probably Frustrated that they seem to still be there! We did Identify them, however, and that will be a great Boon as we Let Them Go over the next few months (Vesta in Sadge). Bear in mind that Life is a lot more complicated than our Dualistic mind can comprehend, so if you think you can actually Name your Limitations, be sure to add …or something like that… to any Descriptions of them.
• Asteroid Sappho enters Pisces Wednesday 17 November. Sappho (Self-Love and Self-Doubt) has been in Aquarius (Social Idealism) since April, seven months, but it’ll only spend two months in Pisces. I suspect we’ll be glad about that, as we could be spending a lot of time blubbering about the Barrage of Regrets we could be inundated with, as Pisces is about Finishing Unfinished Emotional Business. Whatever you Do or Feel between now and the Ides of February, be hypervigilant about Blame. Blame, whether Self- or Other-, is a total Dead End. No better way to squelch your Growth and stop your Progress toward any Goal, than to hang yourself with the Noose of Blame. Gay Hendricks advises, “that if I could consider, even for a moment, that I was not upset for the reason I thought I was [Thoughts about our Feelings again!], then I could break out of the Trance I was in. Then, I could begin to see what the real reasons were” (op.cit. p.102).
• Asteroid Nemesis enters Capricorn Sunday 21 November. Nemesis spent three months in Sagittarius (Letting Go Of Guilt) but it’ll only spend two months in Capricorn (Putting Guilt to Work Productively). This Sign Change will be much complicated by its concurrence with the 18-21 November Exaggeration of Intrusive Memories (21 November Station of dwarf planet Gonggong²), and by concurrent Exaggeration of our Instincts (Moon Out of Bounds 20-24 November³). Not to mention the 19 November Scary Lunar Eclipse.⁴

Two key strategies to Remember: (1) That was Then and This is Now and (2) Don’t Trust Your Thoughts about Your Feelings – Keep Coming Back to the Emotion Itself, as a Sensation in Your Body. Sink your Breath and your Attention Deeply into that Sensation, and Persistently Reject the Temptation to Trust Your Ideas and Thoughts More Than You Trust the Sensations in Your Body. If you succeed at quieting the Noise in your Mind, the Sensations will eventually talk to you, but they’ll speak through your Unitary and Multidimensional Intuition, not through your Dualistic Mind. Truth and Healing Reside in Our Bodies, Not in Our Minds. The Nessus Station occurs at 2am PST November 25, in 12 Pisces.

That’s “Orb” in astrologuese. Like most astrologers, we consider “Transiting” Angles to be Live if they’re within three Degrees of Exact; for instance, dwarf planet Cyllarus is 1 Degree and 47 Arcminutes (31:02 less 29:16 equals 1:47) from an exact Sextile to Sedna – that’s within 3 Degrees. The Sextile Angle (short blue line) connects two planets that are 2 Signs apart. “Transiting” means “in the sky now,” as opposed to “Natal,” meaning in a Birth Chart. The average Natal Sensitivity commonly used is around 8 Degrees (varying depending on the Angle – more for a Conjunction, less for an Unx). We’ll introduce Cyllarus a bit later.

On the other hand, we’ve expanded our Sensitivity a tad to 3½ Degrees in the 22 August Full Moon chart (if we round up the Degrees, as is customary in astrology, from 29:37 to 30 [=0] for the Moon, from 2:56 to 3 for Pholus, and from 26:10 to 27 for Karma, it still looks like 3 Degrees of Sensitivity – we often do this rounding up)…

We’ve omitted Jupiter (Expansion) in the Sedna station chart, but it was only 3:24 away from a Square (Challenge) to the Sedna Station. And, the 22 August Full Moon was Conjunct Jupiter, which is to say, About Expansion, so you can see why we speak of “Expanding” into Fear. A Full Moon chart applies mostly to the two weeks following the event, while a Station chart applies mostly to the week or so prior to the event, though as we said in the previous post, we expect the Sedna Station chart to influence the week after the event because of the Out of Bounds Moon.

We’ve also added several extracurricular Stars and ‘Roids to the Full Moon chart, in order to fill in some obvious Vacancies. We’ll get to that later. First, let’s look at the Sedna Station chart…

The meat of the Sedna Station chart is the Major Challenge (T-Square, the red triangle) to Becoming Aware of our Karma (Mercury/Awareness Conjunct/Merged With asteroid Karma/Karma). Becoming Aware of our Karma often involves an Ego Death, which are seldom pleasant, unless we Focus on The meat of the Sedna Station chart is the Major Challenge (T-Square, the red triangle) to Becoming Aware of our Karma (Mercury [Awareness] Conjunct [Merged With] asteroid Karma [Karma]). Becoming Aware of our Karma often involves an Ego Death, which are seldom pleasant, unless we Focus on How Wonderful Life Will Be After We Ditch Those Bummers! (Hint Hint). But the vegetables are in the Heavy Heavy base of the T-Square, which is where the Real Action often lies in a T-Square.

On one side of this Opposition (Dualistic Argument aka Politics) are Orders from Headquarters (the Galactic Center), Our Hidden and Often Forbidden Genius (dwarf planet Ixion), and That Which Will Blindside Us If We Continue to Ignore It (dwarf planet Pholus). Like Kabul and Nahlins and Waverly and the California Conflagrations, the Message from Galactic Headquarters is We’re Done Messing Around, It’s Time To Get your Creative Butt in Gear and Get This Fixed! Did Recycling save the Roman Empire from decline? Nothing on our Catastrophic Trajectory will Change until Hupers regard the Planet as a Partner rather than a Resource, regard Excess Profit as the Crime of Grand Theft that it is, and regard Social Norms as the Foundation of the Status Quo that is the Cause of the Problem. And that’s Exactly what our Forbidden Genii came here to Fix. Not far from Pholus are our Survival Instincts (dwarf planet Quaoar).

On the Other Side of this Political Duality are Our Intuition (dwarf planet Asbolus) and Our Unlimited Potential (dwarf planet Chaos). How many of us Cherish our Intuition and Practice Trusting it constantly? How many of us are Exhilarated by Unlimited Potential, and how many of us Terrified by it? On the GC-Ixion-Pholus side of the Political Divide are the Guts to tackle the Elephant in the Room, and on this Asbolus-Chaos side are all of our Yes-Buts. Yes-But it’s Scary – we could Lose our Mod Cons! We’ll Lose a lot more than that if we don’t Change the Trajectory.

Fortunately, we don’t have to do this Alone. We have Allies. There is a Truss Bridge across the Divide (the blue lines connecting GC-Ixion-Pholus, Klotho-Haumea, Eurydike-Thereus, and Asbolus-Chaos). We can Trust (Eurydike) our Ability to wrestle Bears (Thereus). And we can Trust our Recent Double Rebirth…

A Significant New Life Chapter Began (asteroid Klotho enters Scorpio) at 4:16 am PDT 26 August. Scorpio doesn’t mess around. It’s Fearlessly dedicated to Getting to the Bottom of Things. What Things? Since it’s on the cusp, it’s the same chart as the 22 August Full Moon. In that chart, it’s blocking for dwarf planet Haumea, another Strong Rebirth Signal. Pele’s daughter Haumea doesn’t make it to Scorpio, though, turning Backwards in January 2022 two arc-seconds shy of the Cusp of Scorpio. Its dallying delays Haumea’s flow of hot lava into Scorpio till mid-November 2022. Klotho has already crossed Haumea, though, Beginning a New Cycle on 14 August, a few minutes past 12 am PDT, in 28 Libra, “A person becoming aware of spiritual forces surrounding and assisting them.” The four-year Klotho-Haumea Cycle is about Rebirth upon Rebirth. We’re just getting started.

The other Powerful Allies are in the Dumb-Luck Blessings (Grand Trine) that also Touches the Mercury-Karma node. The Allies here are Fearlessness (the Sedna Station itself) and Confidence (dwarf planet Chariklo). If Doubt comes up, Let It Go immediately. You know we’re right about this. Business as Usual is rapidly making this whole Planet look like a Martian Desert. By the time Musk and Bezos get there, Mars will look Lush by comparison to Earth. That’s why Gaia threw a well-deserved fifth wave of the Moronavirus at us.

Finally, dwarf planet Cyllarus demands our Attention as it makes the Grand Trine into a Kite, with itself at the Top. Cyllarus, along with asteroid Requiem (Honoring Death) dropped in to Complete two Vacancies in the Full Moon chart, filling a Grand Sextile and a Grand Cross. He completes the Storyboard for the Sedna Station. Herakles, or Hercules, had a Zeus-given assignment to help Rid the World of Threats to the Patriarchy, especially the Mysteries left over from the Matriarchy. On his journey to this end, he bunked with the unsuspecting Centaur Pholus.

Pholus had Responsibility for safekeeping the Sacred Wine of the Centaurs, and while Pholus was out shopping at Emporos Iosif’s, Herakles Opened the unhidden Sacred Wine. Did he know what he was doing? Probably. The scent carried, and the Centaurs immediately went mad and starting killing each other and everyone in sight. Pholus, true to his habit of ignoring consequences, got dead by picking up a poison dart that had killed someone else, and clumsily dropping it on his foot. Chiron (Despair and Miracles) got the Wound that would eventually make him give up his Immortality. The third corner of the Grand Trine is Centaur Chariklo, Chiron’s wife. And distraught Centaur Hylonome (Codependence and Self-Sovereignty) killed herself with the same spear that killed her Centaur-Stud Lover. That Lover was Cyllarus.

If you need a Program, We are the Centaurs in this story, and Predatory Capitalism is Herakles. We’re killing each other as we help kill the Planet, and we don’t even know why.

Love Is the Answer 3

We’re still deep in this Self-Love Pressure-Cooker Portal. We’ve endured the 8 July 2021 Challenge to Self-Love Itself (asteroid Sappho Stationary or Exaggerated), the 11 July Rebirth (dwarf planet Haumea Stationary), which always requires an Ego Death, the 13 July Reset of our Relationships (Mars Initiating Venus) with its Challenge to our Codependence, and the 14 July Scrambling of our Boundaries (asteroid Pallas Stationary). Of our six July Stations in the 25-29 Degree Zone, we’re three down and three to go. We don’t expect the last three to be any Easier than the first three, but we’ll get to that shortly.

Buried in the middle of this first trio was a 15 July Challenge to our Élan (Chiron Stationary 9:40 am PDT, in 13 Aries). It happens seven Degrees and two days from our Relationship Reset (Mars-Venus Initiation), so each event is prominent in the other’s chart. It proposes a Healing of our Abuse Karma. Not a Healing of Abuse, but a Healing of our Abuse Karma – meaning a Change that will echo back and forth across Time, with Potentially Huge Implications.

Occurring in July where it’s Surrounded and Embraced by Self-Love, and Supervised by our Soul (Uranus T-Square), it stands a good chance of Succeeding. But of course, as with any Healing, the Ego has to accede, and also as with any Healing, we have to Fully Embrace what we’re Intending to Heal before the Wound will Budge. The general rule, and it’s Solid, is that In order for Anything to Change, we must first Accept It Fully Exactly as It Is. Change means we’re Passionate about NOT Accepting Repetitions, but if we don’t first Accept Historical or Herstorical occurrences with Neutrality, the Change won’t stick.

Sound Contradictory? Contradictions occur only in Duality; in higher Dimensions, it’s Paradox. Passionate Neutrality is a Paradox. It means that we have no Emotional or Identity Attachment to Past or Future occurrences, in this case, of Abuse, but we have both Emotional and Identity Attachment to the Active Prevention or Avoidance of ongoing Current-Moment occurrences. If that sounds difficult to pull off, it’s because it is, when seen with the Dualistic Mind. When seen with the Heart, it makes perfect sense. One implication is that every setback is simply another Lesson in the ongoing Committed Effort. As with Addiction, we’re never Recovered, but always In Recovery.

But let’s look at the chart…

We see the two big red triangles, or Challenges (T-Squares). The upper one, pointing to asteroid Juno (Expansion of Consciousness), tells us what’s happening “to” us. The lower one, pointing to Uranus (Soul ), tells us what to do to succeed at the Task presented by the upper one, namely to Let Go of Our Abuse Karma.

In the upper T-Square, the Focus is on Expansion of Consciousness (asteroid Juno), and the Root of the Challenge is an Opposition between Abuse and Privilege (dwarf planet Nessus) and the Source of our Karma (asteroid Karma Conjunct dwarf planet Orcus). Orcus is about Oath-Making and Oath-Breaking. Karma results from an Oath or Vow or Promise, or even a Decision. When a Vow has Life-or-Death consequences, we avoid getting Dead by reorganizing our Worldview such that the Oath Limits our Perception of Reality. We aren’t a Person performing Military Service, we ARE a Soldier, our Identity, and the rest of our Reality follows from that base. When Soldiering becomes an Identity rather than an Action, one forgets that there are Options, and Karma is Created. Orcus Breaks Oaths by Reminding us that there are Options.

The 4½-year Karma-Orcus Cycle outpictures the stages of our Karmic Evolution in the Current Lifetime. The recently-completed Cycle began November 2016 in 10 Virgo – “Two heads looking out and beyond the shadows: The growth of true understanding, born out of the transcendence of duality even while immersed in the world of duality.” The New Cycle was born 14 July 2021 (12:49 pm PDT) in 12 Virgo, “After the wedding, the groom snatches the veil away from his bride.” Why would the groom feel the need to “snatch away” the veil, rather than just tenderly removing it? Both Insecurity and Disrespect are implied. This doesn’t mean that our New Relationship Cycle will necessarily be characterized by Insecurity and Disrespect. It does mean that, if we Choose to Pursue it with Passionate Neutrality, we can Potentially Banish Insecurity and Disrespect from our Relationships.

The chart of the 14 July Orcus-Karma Initiation (the Beginning of the Cycle) is the same as the Chiron-Station chart above, with one adjustment. In the Orcus-Karma chart, the South Node Conjoins Juno, and the North Node Creates a Balanced Grand Cross out of the Juno T-Square. That turns the Challenge into an Inconvenience. Since Banishing Insecurity and Disrespect from our Relationships would normally require Ego Death, this is a Blessed Inconvenience.

We still have the Soul Challenge (Uranus T-Square) in both the Chiron Station and the Orcus-Karma charts. On one end of its base we have The Most Important Thing (Saturn), and on the other we have Trust (asteroid Eurydike). The question is whether we Trust the Soul enough to Allow the Ego to follow the Soul’s Directions. Chiron is about Discouragement or Despair, and Miracles. From a place of Despair, it’s not Physically or Spiritually Possible to Manifest What We Want and Need. If we suddenly do start to Create it, it’s a Miracle, because something Impossible is now Manifesting. Discouragement is less Final than Despair, but it leans the same way. How do we Exit a place of Despair or Discouragement? One way is to Empathize with our Despair or Discouragement. That can be as simple as Poor-Sweethearting ourself, and then Changing the Subject.

New Project Week II

As we move into our New Self (asteroid Klotho Stationary 4:30 am PDT 7 June 2021 in 18 Libra), it will behoove us to Attend to our Relationships with Abuse and with Privilege (dwarf planet Nessus Stationary 9:24 am PDT 14 June in 16 Pisces). Though it’s only one of many Challenges that will Confront our Newbie shortly after our Rebirth, Unconscious and Conscious Changes in our Relationship with Abuse and Privilege is probably the biggest one. The intervening Challenges…

• Emotional Intensity (Moon moving Out of Bounds for four days starting 10:57 pm PDT 9 June in 18 Gemini). This hits a peak on 11 June (Moon Stationary in North Declination 25:39 and Longitude 11 Cancer at 9:08 pm PDT), and fades on 13 June (Moon moving back In Bounds at 6:19 pm PDT in 4 Leo).

• Ego Death(s) Required to Let Go of Karma (asteroid Karma moves into Virgo 2:34 pm 9 June). If you have a Journal, Karma was previously in the Sign of Ego Death (Virgo) between 1 December 2020 and 23 January 2021), before it backed back into Leo till 2 April. It’s been moving forward in its third Dance over the last five Duads (2½ Degrees) of Leo since then. This deserves a post of its own.

💥 For now we’ll just say that Virgo is what happens between the Cyclic Culmination of our Individual Identity (Leo) and Meeting Not-Us or Other (Libra). Just as Pisces is about Letting Go of Emotional Baggage so we don’t have to drag it with us into our next Adventure, Virgo is about Letting Go of Obsolete Identities so we don’t mess up our Relationships with Others by “Pretending” (usually Unconsciously) to be someone we ain’t. “Others” includes not just People, but since Everything in the Universe is Conscious, it also includes Everything that we aren’t Being or Owning in the Moment. For example, if you Identify with Loving Nature, prove it to yourself by Inviting a Bird to perch on your finger, without pooping on your hand or giving you Salmonella.

💥 We also need to say that our most troubling Karma is where We Would Rather Die than Feel That Again, aka our “Held Emotions” (South Node). Because most Hupers Believe that we’re Once-Born or Twice-Born, we misinterpret “I’d Rather Die Than Feel That” as “I’d Rather Die Than Feel That,” while it’s really “I’d Rather Die Than Feel That” – Ego Death. We’re just sawing through one of the legs of the three-legged stool we usually sit on. If we Want to minimize Pain, we’d stand up before we did that. But if you know what it means to Go Without an Identity (ie, stepping out of your Identity) for a few minutes, I’d love to know. The Emotion of Confusion is the closest we can come, and we regard Confusion as one of the best Emotions because it’s the Doorway to Evolution. We usually try to suppress it by Figuring Out What’s “Wrong,“ which is one of our most Self-Destructive Habits.

• Illuminations about the State of our Planet and the Likelihood of our Survival if we continue on our Current Trajectory (Annular Eclipse of the Sun 3:52 am PDT 10 June in 20 Gemini [Sabian Symbol “A modern cafeteria displays an abundance of food, products of various regions“], primarily impacting the several weeks following it). It will be visible if you happen to be crossing the North Pole (bring a Boat, that’s cold Water). An Annular Eclipse is one where the moon is far enough from the Earth that it doesn’t quite appear to cover the face of the Sun – an Almost-Total Eclipse. Consciousness Grows by Discovery, not by Invention, and under Eclipses we Discover what’s now missing, that we hadn’t noticed previously. For more details, see https://svs.gsfc.nasa.gov/4910.

• An Increase in Selfishness (Mars enters Leo 6:33 am PDT 11 June). Which is not always a Negative thing. We can’t Love Other Fully until we Love Ourself Fully. Given our Illuminations about the State of the Planet and its Huper inhabitants, though, the Greedheads will probably be making another Power Grab. If we Pray enough for it, they might Betray their Heartlessness and be met with Rotten Tomatoes, or better yet new laws about, say, voting, taxing, and legal theft, and new Cultural Norms about Worshiping Wealth. The few Greedheads who aren’t Sociopaths might even have Epiphanies about their own antisocial Greed. Mars will stay in Leo till the end of July.

While we usually just dwell on the Back-of-Hand/Palm dynamics of Abuse and Privilege, we should actually look at the Pros and Cons of each. For instance, having Privilege can make so many things so much Easier. Rather than Gloating about our supposed Superiority as the source of our Privilege, or arming ourself to the hilt to keep the Rabble from “stealing” back what we’ve stolen from them, or Resisting Privilege because we’re Conscious of the Abuse that results and Guilty about it, we might instead find our Gratitude for our Privilege. In 5D where Collaboration outduels Competition, we’ll no long be in a Zero-Sum World, but back in a Natural World where the Sum is Much Greater than its Parts. From a place of Gratitude for our historical Privilege we may be able to Share it or Teach Others how to Enjoy it without creating more Abuse – not like the Missionaries that enabled the Conquistadors, however. How would we avoid that?

As for Abuse, until enough people Unite against the Psychopaths and Sociopaths and Missionaries (which will require that we no longer Worship Wealth and Greed) and enforce a meaningful Equality, the most positive feature I can envision for Abuse, is for it to Inspire us to Delete our Abuse Karma. History of course was written by the Abusers, who were by and large proud of their Conquists, so the Horrors of our Karmic History may be Exaggerated by their Pride, though I’m not naive enough about the Cruelty and Sadism of our Species, or the extreme Privilege of the Abusers, to Believe that any such Exaggeration has been more than slight.

“Trust but Verify” is good advice. During the 1980s, when Pluto was in Scorpio and Recovery was all the rage, I Learned to Ask, “What color is the wallpaper?” to remind myself that most PTSD episodes are Flashbacks and not Present-Moment. The Jungle “wallpaper” of Vietnam, and the Bare Metal “wallpaper” of the Ships, contrasts with even unadorned wallboard, so we could distinguish hallucinations from real napalm, torture, anal probes, and implants. Grounding is always a helpmate (running an imaginary cable from the base of your spine to the center of the Earth), Eating, and Orgasm are reliable Grounders.

Mirrors are always useful, especially when you’re trying to Heal Feelings that aren’t yours, which is not possible. Mirrors are even useful as a first response – when you’re Feeling awful without obvious Triggers, take the first person who comes to mind, and for five to ten seconds hold a wardrobe Mirror between you and them, facing them. If your Feelings become more acceptable, you know you’re trying to run their Emotions through your Body – or, they’re Manipulating you. If you’re being Manipulated, even with the best Intentions, it’s never fun. Most folks are totally Unconscious that they’re Manipulating. Mirrors are a good strategy for dealing with Climate Deniers, Mask Objectors, Gun Freaks, folks who want to Deny your Vote and Control your Body, and other Antichrist Lovers. You won’t need to get into a hopeless morass of Conversation with them, and if you position your Mirror so it Reflects their Energy back at them, they’ll get a bit of their own toxic “Medicine.”

The Big Advantage of using “Then versus Now” tricks, Grounding, and Mirrors, is that they’re Habit-forming. When we’re Vulnerable to Manipulation by Other People’s Energy, it’s because our Programmers “Intentionally” (though probably Unconsciously) carved a Hole in the back of our Aura, so they could reach in and pull our strings whenever they wanted or needed to. It often looks and feels like Shaming. Habitual Manipulators “see” those Holes, usually Unconsciously, so we can be Manipulated by strangers we pass on the street. Our Programmers just thought it was good parenting, and you may do it yourself when your own kids threaten to drive you Batty. As these “tricks” become a Habit, the hole in our Aura actually Seals Up, so not only do the “tricks” become second-nature, they also Heal the Source of our Dis-Ease. When our Will is Healthily Self-Serving, Habitual Manipulators pass us by without a second glance, because we’re useless as an Object for their Power Games.

Issues such as these may Confront our Experiential Infant this coming week. It never hurts to recall that we’re actually an Eternal Energy Nexus (often called an “Immortal Soul”) borrowing a Material Body. Energy can never be Destroyed, only Transformed. Revelation of Denial (dwarf planet Eris) remains Out of Bounds through all of this (until 4:12 am PDT 18 July in 20 Cancer), so don’t be Surprised if New Information about your Personal or Karmic History or Herstory comes into your Consciousness during these Adventures. If you’ve noticed that almost everything above occurs in 16-20 Degrees of one Sign or another, you’ll be checking your natal chart to see what will be Lit Up for you, as your own Energy System meshes with the Planet’s.

All of this is Important, because as we get past the 14 June Exaggeration of Abuse and Privilege (Nessus Station), we drop into a week of very Intense Manifestation Energy, as three Big Energies are simultaneously Emphasized. When Energies Conjoin in Time, it’s as if they’re Conjoining in Longitude – and these Big Fellas are also actually in neighboring Degrees of their respective Signs. The three Energies are Manifestation Itself (dwarf planet Makemake Stationary 6:42 pm PDT 19 June in 6 Libra), Expansion (Jupiter Stationary 8:04 am PDT 20 June in 3 Pisces, and The Opportunity to Jettison Karma Early (asteroid Lachesis Stationary 2:42 pm PDT 20 June in 6 Scorpio).

If as is the case hereabouts, you’re Wondering why the Foundations of your Personal Infrastructure seems to be Falling Apart, each Failure is a Big Clue about the Unconscious Energies “you” are running but not Owning, that Block what you’re trying to Manifest. Take time to Sit with each Failure of Intention or Function, and Merge with it Energetically. The Objective is to Meet each of your Unconscious Blocks as Energy Clusters in the Unconscious, Meet them in Neutral territory without Bias or Judgment on your part, and with an Open Mind Ask the Question, “Is this Energy really My Own, but I’ve been Denying it?”

Guilt and Resistance II

For the last week we’ve been working with Exaggerations of our Guilt, our Ability to Respond, and our Fate (Stations¹ of asteroid Nemesis, dwarf planet Pholus, and asteroid Karma on 5, 3, and 2 April 2021, respectively).

Because Fate vs. Free Will is a Duality, we know tautologically that it’s an artifact of the Dualistic Observing Mind, and not a property of the Multifarious and Unitary External Reality that’s being Observed. Separating our Projections (artifacts of our Concepts and Emotions that we’re unwilling to recognize as Our Own Bias) from Observed Reality is a perpetual problem for Hupers. We Intend to Perceive more Reality and less Projection as we Grow our Consciousness, but the situation is much Complicated by the fact that We Are Not Separate from “External” Reality, so like Slugslime our Projections can be very difficult to Wash Off.

Current-Lifetime Habits of Perception and Behavior are relatively Easy to Change, usually through Decision and a smallish number of Reps. All Habits are like Muscles – they become Stronger with Use, and Atrophy with Disuse. Karmic Habits, which we brought with us into our Current Lifetime from Other Lifetimes², are much more Difficult to Shed. It’s probably safe to assume that virtually all Addictions are Karmic.

When asteroid Karma is Lit Up, as it was last week and to a lesser extent this week, so are our Karmic Habits Lit Up. We Break any Habit, Karmic or otherwise, by becoming Aware of the Pattern, and Changing our Behavior or Thoughts. The more we do this, the Faster we Notice, and the Easier Change becomes. The Easier Change becomes, the faster we Notice. It’s a “Virtuous Circle.” We accelerate our progress by Congratulating Ourself for Noticing each time the Habit repeats, rather than Cursing Ourself for Repeating the Habit Again. Positive Feedback always works better than Negative Feedback.

Karmic Habits are harder, because they’ve usually Permeated more of our Thought Patterns and Behavior Patterns. A Current-Lifetime Habit of eating Eggs might be Broken over Breakfast. But a Karmic Habit of Ignoring our Self-Care may Impact much of our Life Experience. So we will probably have to Notice and Change over and over again in many different arenas of Life. While it’s Difficult to maintain our Motivation in the face of constant Frustration, that’s Exactly what’s Required for Breaking Karmic Habits. We need to stay with Positive Feedback.

The biggest source of Tension in the chart of the 2 April Station of asteroid Karma³…

…is between our Trust (asteroid Eurydike) and our Codependence (dwarf planet Hylonome). Whom do we Trust more – our Self and our Decisions, or the Other People to whom we usually Give Away Our Power? Addictions always have Enablers, and our closest friends and relatives are Powerful Enablers for our Negative Habits. So our Decisions to Notice and Change have to be Stronger than our Allegiance to our friends and relatives. Often we have to Choose between Sticking with a Decision to Change (asteroid Ceres, at the tip of the T-Square or red triangle, is about Sustainability) and Losing the Love of our Compatriots.

The Twelfth Harmonic⁴ is about Pattern-Breaking, and the Unx Angle (the short green lines in the chart) represents an Opportunity to Break a Pattern between two Energies more Easily than it might otherwise be. In a chart of a Station of asteroid Karma, this Opportunity increases Exponentially. There are five Unxes in this chart…

• Moon (Instincts) Waning Unx to Hylonome (Self-Sovereignty). Any Waning Angle is a Strong Invitation to Notice and Change anyway, so a Waning Unx is really an Or Else! for Letting Go of any Obsolete Pattern. This one is about either following your Instincts to stay Safe by Giving Away Your Power, or following your Instincts to Challenge your Codependence and Take a Stand that threatens your Social Status. How to tell which it is? If it’s not Obvious then the Real Obsolete Pattern that you’re Ready to Transcend is the Habit of Forcing a Complex World into Binary Choices.

• Ceres (Sustainability) Waning Unx Lilith (Self-Sovereignty again!). Which End of your Life is ultimately more Sustainable – Giving Away Your Power, or Claiming Your Power? Knowing your Heart’s Truth, or Thinking Logically?

• Mars Out of Bounds (Strong Action) Waxing Unx Lilith (Self-Sovereignty). Methinks we have a Theme building here. The Waxing Unx is when we have to make Unpopular Choices if we want to be Prepared for the Future, because most of our Culture is feverishly defending their Investment in the Dead-End Patterns of the previous Cycle. They know it’s Dead (we Hope!), but they still Believe they need to coax another fifteen shillings out of it in order to be a “Success” and Rescue their Ego. On the Contrary, our Strong Action needs to be devoted to the New Cycle that began at the Initiation, or first Conjunction. For Mars-Lilith that would be 10 August 2020 in 22 Aries, “The gate to the Garden of All Fulfilled Desires.” That sounds to me a lot more like our Wannas than our Shouldas. Do we have the Courage?

• Mars Out of Bounds (Strong Action) Waning Unx Eurydike Out of Bounds (Strong Trust). If you spent last week Procrastinating about your Shoulds, or pretty much Ignoring them, and instead doing what you Felt Like Doing at the time, you’ve probably already won the lottery. Not that your Shoulds are Wrong – that set of Life Choices will probably be Resurrected, but your Relationship to it will be completely Different. Instead of Thinking, “I Should be Doing That, but I don’t feel like Doing it,” you might end up Realizing, “I wouldn’t mind Scheduling an hour a day to Do That, I just don’t want it to Control the rest of my Life.”

• Stationary asteroid Karma (Exaggerated Karma) Waxing Unx asteroid Eurydike Out of Bounds (Strong Trust). Whom do we ultimately Trust here – our Karmic Ego, or our Soul’s Purpose? Do we know the Difference? It’s probably the more Difficult Choice. This astroevent could even Teach us about our Soul’s Purpose!

¹ As ours and other planets circle the Sun as if it were Indianapolis or the Nurburgring, we’re moving at different speeds, so it’s inevitable that we pass one another. As the Earth passes a slower planet, the slower planet appears to slow down, stop, and reverse direction. When it stops, or Stations, its Impact upon us is Strongest. This Energy usually builds slowly to the actual Station, then declines, but for any number of reasons, different people will Experience the Energy and its Changes differently.

Most planets circle the Sun in approximately the same plane – that is, if we look at our Solar System from the side, the orbits of the planets are more like the Rings of Saturn than the orbits of Earth Satellites. However, the orbital planes aren’t perfectly aligned, and the Earth is tilted in its own orbit, so the planets appear to move up (“North”) and down (“South”) in the sky as we go around the Sun. Planets are also Stationary when they stop to switch their motion in the sky from North to South and vice versa.

² In addition to Linear-Time Reincarnation, there are a number of other Conceptualizations about Multi-Lifetime Dynamics. I often speak in the voice of Linear Reincarnation because it’s among the most common Conceptualizations on the topic among the Oft-Born, so I assume it will communicate most efficiently. The notion of Karma as Inertia (not Retribution) fits most directly with Linear Reincarnation. (There are three major Views about the Impermanence of Egoic Life, namely Once-Born, Twice-Born, and Oft-Born.)

I do assume (and have seen multiple evidence in my own Lifetime to fortify it) that Linear Time is a 3D Illusion, so I sometimes talk about Parallel Lifetimes – the notion that all Other Lifetimes are occurring simultaneously with this one. Inertial Karma is a little trickier in this framework.

Another Viewpoint assumes that we are all Lightworker Souls, and when we as Souls Choose to Incarnate, we Choose a few Issues we want to advance, and Program our to-be-Incarnated Self to carry this simulation of the Karma which will further develop those Issues. In this View, Karma operates as Inertia, the way it does in the Linear-Reincarnation Perspective, and to the extent that we succeed in Changing our own Karma, we advance the Karma of the Species. A feature of this View is that our Soul does not Own the Karma we’re working on, our Ego does.

I don’t assume that the Ego survives a Physical Death, but that our Karma does, including our Good Karma. So while we don’t carry our Material Gains from Lifetime to Lifetime, we do carry What We’ve Learned into Other Lifetimes, which can look as if we carried our Material Gains along.

Mindful that Either/Or Is Always Political while the Universe Operates through Both/And, I have no interest in defending or defrocking any of these Perspectives, including the Once-Born and Twice-Born. Even if my Personal Experience tells me I’m Oft-Born, that doesn’t mean that everyone has to be. The Universe is Ineffable – we don’t have nearly the Bandwidth necessary to Grok it. So our Intellectual and Emotional Viewpoints are always Conditional.

And one of the Bottom-Line Beliefs of this Blog is that the more Perspectives we can carry, the greater is our Resilience when Change occurs. Contradiction is a property of the Dualistic Mind, not a property of “Competing” Perspectives. Paradox is a more Resilient Concept than Contradiction, because it Allows us to Believe Contradicting Perspectives at the same time. As Reality Changes, and we Agree that Change is the one Constant in Reality, our Understanding can shift with it, perhaps from something like 60% Viewpoint A and 40% Viewpoint B, to 40% View A and 40% View B and 20% View C.

³ We aim more toward Interpretation than Prediction, because if we know how to Interpret what’s going on in the Past and Present, we don’t need to worry about Predicting the Future. So if you Learn something about yourself by comparing these notes to your Experience of last week, we’ve met our Goal. Even if we’re Dead Wrong about our Interpretation, if it Inspired an Insight into your Experience – you Trusted what you Feel more than what you Read, we’ve met our Goal.

⁴ The Twelfth Harmonic, in the astrological Context, is the Angle formed between two planets that are Separated by one twelfth of the Zodiac, that is, they’re approximately 30 Degrees (360 divided by 12) or one Sign apart. The word “Unx” means one twelfth of something, so we refer to this Angle as an Unx. The Twelfth Harmonic in astrology aligns with the Twelfth Major Arcana in Tarot, which is The Hanged Man, who hangs not by his Neck or his Fingernails, but by his Heels, in order to see the World differently than he usually does. The Hanged Man is about Pattern-Breaking.

Dropping Self-Sabotage

As we’ve said many times, Karma died in 2012, when Linear Time became Obsolete. But our Karma doesn’t cling to us, we cling to it, because like Dinner and Dessert, it’s what we’re accustomed to. Without it there’s a Big (w)Hole to fill – disconcerting at best, often crazy-making. It’s very Addictive, very difficult to break the habit without Support and Commitment.

Like Alan Watts pointed out, it’s harder to break our Good Karma than it is to break our Bad Karma. That should be fairly obvious – Bad Karma often involves Punishment on one level or another, and Good Karma gets constant positive social Reinforcement, so there’s Motivation for the Bad, quite the Opposite for the Good. Without Motivation, from whence will the Commitment arise? Yet if we want to get to Yintegrity and 5D, we need to Break our Good Karma as well.

Remember that all Karmic Patterns are Profound Skills – simply because we’ve had so much Practice and so many Repetitions with them, in so many different situations. Karma isn’t Good or Bad on the surface, it’s Undesirable because we have no Choice about when to use the Skill – it Operates beneath the level of our Consciousness, whether or not it’s Appropriate and Effective for what we want to Accomplish. In fact, once we break free of the Unconscious Compulsion, we need these Skills, used Intentionally, to Accomplish our Life Mission.

We Believe that Karma is created when we make an Oath or Vow or Promise, or even a Decision, that has Life-or-Death or other serious consequences. Conscious of these consequences, we work hard to forget that we made the Choice, instead Reframing it as Just The Way Things Are. If we can make it a Fact of Life, we’re less likely to Violate it. Through Repetition, we convince ourself that it really is The Way Things Are, and that ends up as an Unconscious – Karmic – Belief in subsequent Lifetimes.

All Karma is Personal. Sure, there are Cultural Patterns and Prescriptions that Act Out like Karma. Like the almost-Universal Practice of scapegoating other Cultures. Once in a while, a Cultural Karmic Pattern can shift on its own. But does that actually Change the World, when all of the folks who Practice it are still Addicted to it? Not until at least a hundred of the “Monkeys,” and probably a lot more, who Practice it have brought it into Consciousness and converted it to a Purposive Skill. Or until (seven?) previous generations move on to their next Adventures.

When asteroid Karma is Lit Up, our Karma is usually in our face. The South Node is similar but different. It includes our Held Emotions, the ones we’d rather Die than Feel. Much Cultural Karma is the result of Cultural or Racial Trauma. We can think of the South Node as Individual or Collective PTSD. The South Node harbors Behaviors that Got Us Dead in other Lifetimes. Those Behaviors were probably Karmic – if they weren’t, we might have Chosen other Skills instead.

We still need those Skills, and there may be a bundle of other Skills that we collected or emphasized in that Lifetime, that we Repressed along with the one(s) that Got Us Dead. This collection of Skills, used Intentionally, is particularly Critical to Accomplishing our Life Mission (the North Node).

Dwarf planet Orcus is in charge of Punishing Oath-Breakers, which would include Karma-Changers. As a fearsome Beast, Orcus helped Enforce our Oaths during Karma-gestating Lifetimes, and that Memory of Terror that’s attached to the Karma may be added to our Fear of what might happen to us if we skip Dinner and Dessert. Asteroid Vesta represents our Unconscious Limiting Beliefs, which are highly correlated with our Karma.

Meanwhile, is our Fate different from our Karma? In many ways, not so much. And there are four asteroids that are named after the Greek Goddesses who were in charge of our Fate. Greek Drama (or at least, our Cultural Projections into Greek Drama) was particularly adept at dramatizing Fate. While it’s easy to view Greek Drama as implying that The Devil Made Me Do It, we can also view it as Information about What We Need to Bring into Consciousness so that we can make Choices that save us from being Victims of our own Fate.

Asteroid Moira is in charge of the whole Process of Unconscious Fate and Conscious Choice. Asteroid Klotho “cuts the cloth” (that’s where our word “cloth” comes from) on which the Tapestry of our Fate is woven. Asteroid Lachesis “measures the cloth,” or determines the Duration of a particular Karmic “Gift.” And Asteroid Atropos is in charge of Endings – literally Death, but we generalize to include the Death of an individual thread of Karma, which is appropriate because the Termination of any significant Karmic Pattern usually requires an Ego Death.

Our Held Emotions are the poster child for this, as they are the Emotions which We would rather Die than Feel. But here we don’t interpret that as We would rather Die than Feel, we interpret it as We would rather Die than Feel – that is, an Ego Death, the equivalent of a Rebirth without an intervening Physical Death.

This has been a significant week from the Perspective of Fate and Karma, as asteroid Atropos (Endings) was very Strong (Stationary) on 10 March 2021 (2:04 pm PST in 20 Cancer), asteroid Lachesis (Karmic Duration) was very Strong (Stationary) on 13 March (7:12 am PST in 18 Scorpio), and asteroid Vesta (Unconscious Limiting Beliefs) crossed dwarf planet Orcus (Oath-Making and -Breaking) on 13 March (2:18 pm PST in 13 Virgo).

In addition (Busy, Busy, Busy), the Lachesis Station, supercharged because it’s Out of Bounds, Complicates (T-Squares) an Argument (Opposition) between asteroid Karma and an Expanded asteroid Moira (Conjunct Jupiter). “Wait! Are you saying that I can Change my Fate? ” Lachesis Measured the Duration of a thread of our Fate, but there’s nothing to prevent us from cheating Fate by bringing that thread into Consciousness Early.

The Vesta-Orcus Merger (Conjunction) makes a major Challenge to (T-Squares) the North Node and the Brightly Lit Up South Node (Conjunct the Great Attractor, an unknown Massive Object or Field pulling the whole Milky Way toward the Midpoint of Sagittarius). “Wait! Are you saying that it was ‘my’ Choices that ultimately created my Limitations? Can I unmake those Choices?“

And the Atropos Station not only gets very Tied Up in issues around Trust (Conjunct Out-of-Bounds asteroid Eurydike), but also issues around Self-Love and Self-Authority (Opposite asteroid Sappho and dwarf planet Hylonome). “Wait! Can I really Trust that Fear of Emptiness is the only thing that inhibits my Freedom, not Dragons? That’s not what my mother and the preacherman told me!“

In addition to Hylonome (Self-Sovereignty and Codependence), Lilith (ditto) is also Activated (Opposing the Lachesis Station and also T-Squaring the Jupiter-Moira to Karma Opposition) – remember what we said earlier about Good Karma and Yintegrity?

Dwarf planet Nessus (Abuse and Privilege) is also involved, as it Opposes Vesta-Orcus and also T-Squares the Nodes, including the South Node that’s glowing like Rudolph’s nose, meaning that it may be a particularly fortuitous time to Let Go of Abuse Karma. And a fortuitous time to jettison Privilege Karma.

That leaves out asteroid Klotho. Are we to endure the Emptiness without the Rebirth of a new Ego? Well, it’s a sleeper, but it’s there. It’s Merged with (Conjunct) dwarf planet Haumea (also symbolizing Rebirth), and at the focus of a Mjölner (Epiphanies) to the Square between Nessus and the North Node. If you look close in the chart below, and your monitor or printer is good enough at color separation, you may be able to distinguish the orange Mjölner lines, pointing to Klotho-Haumea, from the many red (Square and Opposition) lines.

Insights that shift Energies from a Belief that “It’s Just The Way It Is” to “Omigod! I can Change that too?!? ” can count double as Karma-Changers, if they’re followed up by the ongoing Work of substituting Constructive Thoughts and Behaviors for their Karmic forbears. Ultimately, it “Reps” – Repetitions – that shift Self-Sabotaging Karmic Patterns to Habits that we want to cultivate.

For instance, I read this earlier this week…

“Anthony Trewavas described plants as operating: ‘There is no unique separate response to each signal in this complex of informational inflows but merely a response issued from an integration of all environmental and internal information.’ In other words, the organism takes in all the incoming data simultaneously as it occurs and integrates it as one coherent whole, then crafts a response… The amount of incoming data includes trillions upon trillions of bits; when you are talking about Gaia the numbers are close enough to infinity as to make no difference. There is no way that linear processes could be used to generate the increasingly complex innovations on form and behavior that would stabilize homeodynamis. Top-down control here just doesn’t work.” –Stephen Harrod Buhner, Plant Intelligence and the Imaginal Realm, pp.152-3.

Within a few hours I read correlated ideas in three other books on different subjects (by Gay Hendricks, Timothy Hass, and Marko Pogačnik). The result was that I Realized that I’ve been relying too much on Intellect to move toward an important Manifestation that I’m working on, when I need to shift even more than I already am to Intuition and PIAVAs. I Realized that I had been Doubting my next interim Target because I couldn’t imagine what Mechanism would get me there.

Mechanisms are Logical, Known Steps. We can’t Manifest Territory beyond our Known World using Known or Logical Steps. If we could, we’d have done so long ago. We can’t Reach Beyond our Grasp with Dynamic Processes, only with Magnetic Processes.

We aren’t without Blessings to make this process Easier…

Vesta-Orcus and the two Fatefull Stations are all two Signs apart, and they’re joined by three other Sextiles to create a Grand Sextile in Water and Earth – the PIAVA Signs.

There are eight Unxes (two planets one Sign apart, indicated by the short green lines), including at least one Unx for each of the three Stars of this show. Atropos (Endings) gets two such Pattern-Breaking Gifts, one to asteroid Karma itself, and one to the North Node (MIssion) and dwarf planet Asbolus (Intuition, which we’re already Summoning). Asteroid Karma also Unxes Vesta-Orcus.

These three Unxes alone are enough to banish whatever Self-Sabotage you’ve been working on. If you still Feel Stuck on those, check to see if any of them Let Go while you weren’t looking. Try some Easy but Meaningful PIAVAs to see if they work now – that should Ease any Discouragement you have over the others.

The Lachesis-Station Unxes the South Node and Great Attractor, suggesting to me that your Held Emotions may be ready to be Eased into your stable of Permitted Emotions. Remember this fellow from Yellow Submarine? If you Ask him, he can just vacuum them up. So much for unknown Mechanisms.

Fearbruary IV

By now we’re bearing down hard on Fearbruary’s namesake, dwarf planet Sedna, which is about Converting Fear to Power. We’ve been reminding that Fear plus Breathing equals Excitement, Fear plus Tapping equals Grounding and Presence (which is intimidating to would-be antagonists), and Fear plus Kegels equals Power. In addition to a hefty dose of Terror, the Sedna story also contains strong elements of Anger and Competition.

I was into my forties before I realized that Anger was my Habitual Reaction to Fear. Useful when it’s a Fight you can Win, but when Flight or Freeze is Safer, let alone Negotiate, not so much. All Karma is a Powerful Skill, but only when we can Choose to use it when appropriate and not use it when it ain’t. If Karma is a knee-jerk Reaction, it’ll get us in trouble more often than not. We Heal that by getting Conscious about it.

Sedna is at its Strongest (Stationary) as we come up to 1pm PST 8 February, in 28 Taurus. The chart is pretty benign…

The basic Configuration is a “Square Fez with a Chinstrap” – a red-sided trapezoid with a fifth planet at the midpoint of the base. The Chinstrap – dwarf planet Ceres (Sustainability and Sustenance), is where the Power emerges. The two naked Squares (red lines) are where potential Challenges will be spawned – Sedna (Fear) to asteroid Karma (Karma) or Fear about Letting Go of What We Know Best (our Karma), and Pluto (TranceFormation) to dwarf planet Haumea (Rebirth) or Failing to Discern the Difference between Physical Death from Ego Death.

If we could train ourself to instantly Discern an Ego Death from a Threat of Physical Death, and Realize that Resistance is Futile when it comes to Letting Go of the Known (it’s inevitable, and it’ll probably be harder later), our Lives would be so much more Sustainable (the chinstrap), wouldn’t they. So we could Pray for Physical Safety, Pretend we’re Acting in a Play, Enjoy the Drama from the Perspective of the audience, and make the most out of these Opportunities to Practice these two Cosmic Skills (Ego Death and Letting Go of Karma). Letting Go of Karma usually requires an Ego Death anyway, so this is really an Amazing Opportunity.

Note: If you use a Theta Prayer, you can check to see if your prayer will work, modify it and check again, iterating as many times as necessary, till you find just the right Prayer to give you in-the-Gut Confidence in your Safety.

But a Square Fez offers an Alternative to its Challenges, namely its Diagonals (the green lines, which are “Quincunxes,” or 5 Signs long). Notice that each Square is simultaneously in two Tricolors (a triangle made up of a red Square, a green Quincunx, and either a Trine or a Sextile – a long or short blue line). A Tricolor allows one to Liberate the Grace in the blue lines by Embracing the Permanent Curiosity in the green line, which can Resolve the Challenge in the red line.

By Permanent Curiosity we mean Avoiding Trying to Figure It Out – Recognizing that Confusion is one of our most Valuable Emotions and not an invitation to “Left-Brain” Research and Analysis. If we can stay Present with the Confusion Emotion and Learn to Celebrate it, it will lead us to much more Powerful places. Someone once said (Einstein? Maybe) that “We can’t Solve a Problem using the same Thinking that postulated the Problem.” Confusion, if you can Embrace it as the Emotion that it is, will open your Intuition to a kind of Thinking that will Solve the Problem, or more likely, Perspectives that will Reframe the Problem into Opportunities.

A Quincunx is a miniature Mystery School, like a Zen Koan or a piece of a Yin Gate, a Portal to the next step in our Evolution. When you try to contemplate the sound of one hand clapping, for instance, if you take the effort seriously, you’ll be Expanding and Reframing your notions of Sound, of Hands, of Honoring, of Action, and who knows what else, and you might even discover why Beatniks used to “clap” by snapping their fingers.

The Major Tricolors (Square-Quincunx-Trine), like…

Pluto-Square-Haumea-Quincunx-Sedna-Trine-Pluto or TranceFormation Challenging Rebirth which is Curious about Fear and Power and how it might make TranceFormation Effortless,

and Sedna-Square-Karma-Quincunx-Pluto-Trine-Sedna,

…lead to Dumb-Luck Blessings that are typical of Trines. The Minor Tricolors (Square-Quincunx-Sextile), like…

Haumea-Square-Pluto-Quincunx-Karma-Sextile-Haumea or Rebirth making TranceFormation difficult while TranceFormation is in Awe of Inertia, and if we Step into it we can sort of see how Inertia facilitates Rebirth,

and Karma-Square-Sedna-Quincunx-Haumea-Sextile-Karma,

…lead to greater Engagement and probably more Wisdom, as a Sextile doesn’t unlock its Grace till we take the First Step, Participating instead of just Observing. Notice that we’re just following different paths around the lines inside the twelve-sided circle. Each path offers a different Curriculum for us, and if we have the time, we could maximize this Opportunity by following them all. Eventually we’ll end up at Ceres, the chinstrap, and make our Life more Sustainable. We’d just be adding -Sextile-Ceres to the end of each Major Tricolor, and -Quincunx-Ceres to the end of each Minor Tricolor.

So the keys to the Tricolors are Haumea-Quincunx-Sedna, Karma-Quincunx-Pluto, Pluto-Quincunx-Karma, and Sedna-Quincunx-Haumea. And then, if we Chose the more Rewarding but more Effortful Minor Tricolors, we’ll have to add Haumea-Quincunx-Ceres and Karma-Quincunx-Ceres in order to “Cross Go” and Earn our Sustainability Merit Badge (if you haven’t Learned to Fully and Lovingly Embrace All of your Emotions yet, you may not Realize that Earth is just a Very Deep board game). Let’s take an example, say, Haumea-Quincunx-Sedna.

So we have a Koan about the Relationship between Rebirth and Fear/Power. (It might help to remember what Artemisia said about Power in The Findhorn Garden.) Certainly we Fear Rebirth. Our Ego is probably very Attached to our Toys and Colleagues in the Current Incarnation, and loathe to give them up. Those are Intellectualizations, and the Intellect doesn’t have the Power to Evolve us, because it’s basically a Logic machine. Give it some rules and some starting conditions, and it can dummy up a pretty fair simulation. But where is the Evolution in that? We’re just rearranging the deckchairs in our Existing Concept Set.

How might there be Power in Rebirth? How might it Feel to be Conscious of all of our Parallel Lives? Now we’re starting to get into some Koan-like Questions, which may Open us to new Intuitions that Expand our Concept Set. “How might it Feel…” is particularly Open-Ended. If you don’t just find the list of Emotions in the back of your Alexanders book and highlight a few, but Open your Emotional Body to the actual Experience, what might happen? You probably Relive some part of your Past every day. Can you be there in the Cafeteria Line, and also Be Here Now? It might be more inviting to Remember what it was like to Make Love with your All-Time Favorite Lover and also Be Here Now.

Does that feel like fuses blowing in your head? That might be a good sign. One – just One – part of what’s involved with actual Permanent Curiosity (aka Awe or Wonder, but not Wondering about, Wondering at instead), is that we have to Conceive of more Dimensions than we’re used to working with, and different Rules. Since the Universe is Both/And, what is a Contradiction to the Intellect is a Paradox to our Curiosity. Do we even know what a Paradox is, or is it just something unexplainable? It should be something that defies our Concepts of Reality, something that forces us to Choose between what we See and what we Know, or somehow Embrace them both.

A number of the folks in the Antichrist’s Cult may be doing that now, Knowing that just a month ago they were Legends in their Own Minds, but Seeing that now they’re Criminals. Many may Choose to be Martyrs, where both Stories can seem to be True, rather than Expanding their Concept Set to include the possibility that not everyone appreciates White Supremacy, or Expanding their Concept Set to include the possibility that Other People may actually have a right to Exist. But again, these are Intellectualizations. We can’t Predict how any given person will Expand their Consciousness if and when they do, because they’re an Organism much more Complex and Multidimensional than our Observing Mind.

The point is that we may be going through a similar process, where some of what we See and what we Know are splitting apart. If we find ourself trying to figure out how to put Humpty-Dumpty back together again, we may want to Change the Program, and begin to Appreciate Curiosity as the Blessing that it is, as it is, without having to Dissect it. You might also find yourself in a place where you’re being Reborn and your Trances Reformed and your Karma is backing off, you Feel Empowered and Delighted by the process, and it Feels Sustainable. More Power to you!
