With Fate and Choice Exaggerated for the last several days (asteroid Moira Stationary 22 July) in the last few Degrees of Pisces (Letting Go of Excess Emotional Baggage), I imagine most of us have been doing significant Pruning in our Karmic Garden. The bottom line for asteroid Moira is that our Karma remains our Fate as long as it’s Unconscious, and it becomes Choice, Potentially, as soon as we bring it into our Awareness. That’s “Potentially” because even after we’ve Let Go of our Karma, we’re still surrounded by the Habit Patterns that we developed over the years, and Lifetimes, to Accommodate the Karma.

For instance, suppose we always wanted to Travel, but our Fear of the Abandoning the Comfort we Know always stopped us. The Stories we heard about the Pickpockets in Rome and the heavy Rains in India and the Vampires in Transylvania, didn’t help a bit. Well, we may have Let Go of our Resistance to Travel last week, but our Habitual Thoughts about those Pickpockets and Rains and Vampires may still be a Deep-Seated Pattern – the more reps we have Believing them, the sturdier they are.

We have elaborately-constructed Justifications for every Resistance we’ve ever had, and some of them aren’t even our own. Somebody’s Grandmother caught a nasty Flu and died once, generations ago, after she went out in the Rain, and ever after whole generations of people have been told that going out in the Rain “will be the Death of you.” Even after we’ve Let Go of our Flu Karma, we still may Fear going out in the Rain – we may never make the Connection.

This is why Consciousness is so Helpful. Karma has its own Timeline, including its own natural Expiry Date, and those Expiry Dates can pass without our ever noticing them. Without being Aware that we’ve left our Flu Karma at the train station on the way Home from work yesterday, our Chances of Connecting Fear of Flu with Going Out in the Rain diminish, and our Opportunities to Let Go of Obsolete Limiting Beliefs can pass us by. This is also why it is Critical to Recognize Confusion as a Valid and Important Emotion, and Avoid trying to Intellectualize it away. Confusion means that our Habitual Mental Cage of Limiting Unconscious Beliefs – the Justifications for our Fears and Limiting Beliefs that we’ve Memorized to Keep Us Safe, is losing Strength.

What’s left behind is usually Fear – Fear that Granny has left the Cage door open and Sylvester will be home any minute from work at the Mousery. Fear is another Valid and Important Emotion that we need to Avoid Intellectualizing away. If you really were facing a Sabre-Toothed Tiger in your kitchen, you’d Know it, you wouldn’t have to Intellectualize it. Even before we’ve Let It Go, Karma is always a “Paper Tiger” (a residual Symbol of Fear, not a Current-Moment Object to be Feared). Once we’ve Let It Go, Consciously or not, it becomes a Diaphanous Paper Tiger. We don’t have to Think about it, we just have to Look Through It.

Which is why we need to Work Hard to Distinguish our Emotions from our Thoughts about our Emotions. It’s not at all as Easy as it sounds. Any time you add an Object or a Cause or a Prepositional Phrase to an Emotion, you’ve Abandoned your all-important Emotion (the Original Intuition), and walked into the Fantasy World of Thought. Nothing wrong with Fantasy, but use it to your Advantage, not to Sabotage yourself. “I am Angry at…” is a Thought, as is “I am Angry about…” and “I Fear Vampires.” The Thoughts are just part of the Mental Cage we use to Create the Illusion of Safety. When we are Truly Safe, which many of us are a good deal of the Time (any time we aren’t Thinking about whether or not we’re Safe), we have no need for Thoughts to keep out the Dangerous Windstorms.

Even “I am Angry,” without the Grammatical Embellishments, is Misleading. “I am Angry” is a statement of Identity, an Ego-Identification, not a description of Emotions. When we really want to Clarify our Emotions, it would be “I Feel Anger” or “I Feel Scared” or “I Feel Pain” or “I Feel Safe” or “I Feel Ecstatic,” no more, no less. Rather than Embellishing your Emotional Clarity with Dysfunctional Thoughts, Go Inside, Locate the Feeling in your Body, and spend time Sitting With It. There’s so much to Learn from that process, and it’s not Intellectual. If it’s difficult to Locate, Ask yourself, “What If I Did Know?” and if the Answer isn’t Immediately Forthcoming, Wait for It. While you’re Waiting, take Inventory to see if you’ve already gotten the Answer but Dismissed it Out of Hand because it wasn’t Politically Correct to your Ego-of-the-Moment.

The 23 July (7:37 pm PDT, in 2 Aquarius) Full Moon, and the two weeks which follow, is about our Confidence in our Instincts (dwarf planet Chariklo [Self-Confidence and Self-Doubt ] Conjunct Moon), and our Lust to Reconnect with our Soul (asteroid Psyche [Goddess of the Soul ] Conjunct Sun). It’s Challenged by the Red Dragon of Enlightenment (T-Squared by minor planet Zhulong)…

Just as Unexamined Thought Separates us from our Emotions, Unexamined Thought also Separates us from our Soul. Our Concepts about Enlightenment will stand between us and Reunion with our Soul. This Full Moon Challenges our Existing Unconscious Beliefs (asteroid Vesta [Unconscious Limiting Beliefs] T-Squares the Opposition between dwarf planet Chaos [Unlimited Potential ] and the Conjunction between dwarf planets Pholus and Quaoar [Global Change]). We need to parse this furthur. Quaoar symbolizes our Survival Instincts, and Pholus represents That Which We Haven’t Prepared For, but which is Essential. And Chaos is about The Zero Point Field, or the Vacuum of Space, which in the Quantum World is a version of the Infinite Improbability Drive that Zaphrod Beeblebrox pilfered (Douglas Adams, Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Universe, pp.76ff). You haven’t read that yet? That’s as Unprepared as not having bothered to see the definitive documentary Men In Black. The Centaur Pholus got himself dead by Failing to be Prepared.

Seriously, any Limiting Belief is Risky these days. We have to continue to PIAVA What We Want, NOT What We Think We Can Manifest. Ice Cream for Breakfast? The Antichrist for Ambassador to Xinjiang? World Peace? Environmental Justice? Sympathy and Understanding, Harmony and Trust Abounding? What Is It That You Want? Don’t Hold Back. You’re In Charge of Your Piece of the Pie. Clotted Cream, or Ice Cream? Which Is It You Want? It’s Not a Time to Think Small.

It’s None of Your Business What Others Want for Their Piece, unless you’re Negotiating Win-Win with them and Helping each other Out. Competition and Scarcity are Obsolete; revise your Thinking toward Cooperation and Sharing instead. You don’t want to Know how What You Want might be Delivered – you’re not In Charge of that. It’s not about the Mechanisms which might Create it; many of those aren’t invented yet. It’s about What You Want Created. That and That Alone is Your Assignment.

We’ve made it through our six Cuspal July Self-Love Challenges (Stations). We have some Sign Changes in the next few weeks. Venus and Mars enter Virgo on 22 and 29 July respectively. That will be Challenging, as our Values, our Actions, and our Relationships will all seek reorientation through Ego Deaths. Mercury moves into Leo 27 July, so the Mind should Sparkle, as long as we keep it out of places where it’s way out of its League – Emotions and Enlightenment for instance. Jupiter backs into Aquarius 28 July, and Ceres moves into Gemini 31 July. Our Emotions should calm a little, and our Notions of what Sustainability means will Expand as much as our Limiting Beliefs are, if we let them.

We start August with Atropos moving into Virgo on the first – more Ego-Death-like Adjustments to Replace Expired Karma with something more Constructive. Till 2 August (4:23 pm PDT) we’ll be Feeling our Consciousness continuing to Expand (asteroid Juno Stationary in 9 Sagittarius) to fill the Voids Created by the July Demise of our Self-Judgments. Then we pretty much Get A Break till the Ides of August, though the subsequent Exaggerations of The Truth of the Mind and Descent of Soul (Stations of asteroid Veritas and Uranus 19-20 August) are likely to Expand to fill the empty space.

Love Is the Answer 2

Well, not only are we entering a Portal that can take us a long way toward Liberation from our Limitations (8 July 2021 Station of Sappho – see previous post), but it comes with the ultimate gift-wrap – a “Grand Unx”! Sounds weird I know, but an “Unx” is one twelfth of something, so an Unx is the Angle between two planets one Sign apart. And a Grand Unx…

…is twelve planets one Sign apart! It’s very Powerful just to sit and lose yourself in the Merkaba-like Mandala! Since the Twelfth Harmonic is about Pattern-Breaking, a Grand Unx can make it Easier for us to shed our Limitations. We had to add two planets that aren’t usually on our starting team, but we’ve seen them both before…

• Thereus is the Bear-Wrestler that other astrofolks have impugned, but our research showed him to be a Teacher.
• Psyche, the impossibly cute mortal Lass that seduced Cupid with her Beauty when his mother Venus sent him to eliminate the Competition. She was eventually granted immortality so she and Cupid could marry, and became the Goddess of the Soul, or that which Animates us.

The Most Important Thing 2

Yay!  Kristin Metcalfe has directed us to https://serennu.com/astrology/ephemeris.php as a place to get lists of asteroids and dwarf planets sorted by Degree, so we can find Heavenly Bodies that we don’t normally use, which will fill out an Almost-Big-Configuration!  Hooray!  Thanks a million, Kristin!  For example, our 7 May 2020 Full Moon 19 Virgo Vacancy in the Potential-Grand-Sextile, is occupied by an asteroid (Asclepius) named after the Greek God of Healing.  Goddess knows we can use that!

Meanwhile, let’s take the most intense Challenge (T-Square) in today’s 10 May (9:09 pm PDT) Priorities astroevent (Station of Saturn in 2 Aquarius – Yay Again!  I discovered how to use this color without having to post-process the whole post), and see what happens if we consider it an Almost-Complete-Configuration.

I’ll start with our traditional interpretation process, where the planet at the focus of the Challenge (in this case asteroid Sappho [Self-Love] at 30 Virgo) is Worried by a False Dichotomy (Opposition or Duality, False because the Universe isn’t Dual; here the Nodal Axis [our Life Path], with a Big Party on the South Node – dwarf planets Ixion, Pholus, and Quaoar [Climate Change and how our Unique Genius will handle it]).  The Challenge is basically then, How are we going to Love Ourselves Unconditionally when we know that our Culture and most of our Species is on a Suicidal trajectory and people just Glaze Over when we point out that the Sky is Falling? 

But of course we have to Take Responsibility for our own Unique Genius, “Save Ourself,” let our Tribe find us, and Let Go of the folks that the Sky will Fall upon.  They have their own Free Will, whether they Recognize it or not.  They who Fart in Church sit in their own Pew.  We can have Empathy and Compassion for them, but do we really want to Follow them to their Self-Genocide.  You can Martyr yourself in front of their bulldozers if you want, but that’ll just Bloody things up.

I know, we Fear that they will Destroy our Planet and leave us without a decent Home, but the Planet we Live on is a Mirror for our own Inner Peace or Lack thereof.  The notion that our Planet is Only Physical, and therefore unable to Manifest Differently to each Observer, is a 3D Trance that we need to be willing to shed.  Life is an Interaction between the Consciousness Constellated around our Identity (ie, “Me”) and the Rest of the Universe (from our Viewpoint, “the Unconscious”).  In Energy terms, it’s a complex Diffraction Pattern (Hologram) Created when these two complex Energy Waves cross one another.

So then, can we find a planet that Opposes the symbol for Self-Love and Completes the Grand Cross, which would then be Balanced?  Yes we can.  It’s the symbol for The Lord of the Wind (Trans-Neptunian Object Manwë, aka 385446, aka 2003QW [Tolkien’s Lord of Wind, Air, and Birds] at 29 Pisces).  Wind is Uranian, the Higher Manifestation of Mentality.

In its Discovery chart (25 August 2003 in Chile), 150km-wide Manwë is Conjoined by a Retrograde Mars [Action Behind the Scenes] and Opposed by asteroid Arachne [Grandmother Spider, who Weaves the Web of Life that we Live in] and Worried (T-Squared) by dwarf planet Chaos [Unlimited Potential] on one side and Ixion-Quaoar [Survival of our Unique Genius] on the other, making a Grand Cross.  Which is to say that the Actions of our Unique Genius (Ixion) will Open Doors that will never again be Closed (Chaos) – if we Allow our Genius out of its Cage.

The Mars-Manwë T-Square in the Manwë Discovery chart is also Self-Resolving (a Diamond Star) that will Resolve the Issues that it Opens.  The Path which the Resolution follows will Lead through (the feet of the Manwë Finger of the Goddess, namely) Rebirth (dwarf planet Haumea) and Trust (asteroid Eurydike).  That is, we need to be Willing to Abandon Ourself (Eurydike) to the Dark Unknown in the Rabbit Hole of Ego Death (Haumea) in order to Coax our Genius out of Their Closet.

So to give this symbol for the Lord of the Wind (Manwë) a one-breath phrase or keyword to use should we encounter it again, we might use Stepping Off into the Unknown, also a reminder that this Lord Lives on a Mountaintop.

So then, How are we going to Love Ourselves Unconditionally when we know that our Culture and most of our Species is on a Suicidal trajectory and people just Glaze Over when we point out that the Sky is Falling?  We’re going to Trust that our Hidden, probably Forbidden, Unique Genius will plot an Effective Course for us, if we Give ourselves Permission to Break the Rules that imprison Her, or Him, or Them.

Thus Emboldened, let’s Risk going a step further.  There’s one planet five Signs away (a Quincunx) from the Focus of the Challenge (the Sappho T-Square).  If there was a second planet also five Signs away in the other direction (making a Finger of the Goddess), we’d have a Self-Resolving Challenge (a Diamond Star)!  Why not make it Easy on ourself?

Well, turns out there is a planet there, an asteroid.  The symbol for the Goddess of the Soul Completes this Major Configuration (asteroid Psyche at 1 Taurus).  We’ve met this lady before, though it’s been a while.

So now, Where will we Look to see How Unconditional Love Heals our Culture and our Species from its Suicidal trajectory so we don’t have to Run Around shouting that the Sky is Falling?  We’re going to Trust that as the Goddess of the Soul (asteroid Psyche) Merges with Our Own Soul as it Descends into Matter (Uranus in Taurus), our Forbidden Unique Genius (Ixion) will Break Free from its Hiding and Find its True Effortless Role in Creating a Safe Place for Us and Others on Earth.

This Merger (Uranus Initiating / Conjunct Psyche) occurs on 26 May at 3pm PDT (in 9 Taurus, “A fully decorated Christmas Tree“) and Begins a New 5-year Cycle where we may Learn to Celebrate Ego Death as a Rainbow of Light Penetrating the Darkness of our Unfulfilled Desires.  Each time we Lovingly Embrace an Ego Death we get closer to EnLightenment.

This is more Indirect than I prefer to go, but it verifies that the process works.  Next time I will probably go directly to Filling a Vacancy in a Self-Resolving Challenge rather than Filling a Grand Cross Vacancy, if there’s already one five-Sign connection.

Over the course of writing these blogs we’ve tried to make a Big Deal out of our Reaction to Confusion, hoping to Learn and Teach us to Embrace Confusion Directly as an Emotion, without trying to Fix it or Change it or Trying to Figure It Out.  When we succeed in Eliminating Confusion we Eliminate personal Growth, and it we have a Goal of EnLightenment or Ascension or any other form of Growth, we Sabotage ourself.

And separately, over the course of writing these blogs we’ve tried to make a Big Deal out of how we deal with Curiosity.  Many or most of us have been trained to Believe that Curiosity should Inspire us toward Knowledge, that Curiosity automatically seeks Understanding, that it’s a Question seeking an Answer.  We’ve tried to Shift that to Curiosity in the Infantile sense of Wonder or Awe.  More “Wow, isn’t that Amazing!” than “I need to Figure Out how that works.”  More “I Wonder at that!” than “I Wonder How That Works.”

Curiosity is the primary keyword assigned to the five-Sign Angle (Quincunx), in both Ego astrology and Growth astrology.  But in Growth astrology we want you to replace the Question Mark that follows Curiosity in Ego astrology, with a period.  With PIAVA, if we don’t Change the Subject after our Prayer, Thinking rapidly removes the Opportunity for Change by reinstating our old Limiting Belief System, fencing out what we’ve PIAVAed.  It’s Thinking that considers Curiosity to be a Question and does the dirtywork of reinstating our old Limiting Belief System and blocking what we could have Learned.

The other Major Angles connect Signs that are Related…

• Three-Sign Angles (Squares) connect planets in the same Quality – Creative (Cardinal), Stabilizing (Fixed), Changing (Mutable).
• Four-Sign Angles (Trines) connect planets in the same Element – Spirit (Fire), Matter (Earth), Emotion (Water), Mind (Air).
• Two-Sign Angles (Sextiles) connect planets in the same Polarity – Dynamic (Masculine) or Magnetic (Feminine).

But Five-Sign Angles (Quincunxes) Connect planets in Different Elements and Different Qualities.  Categories and Judgments are useful, but they are also Arbitrary, and Inhibit us from Recognizing the Unity and Infinite Variety of Reality.  They are products of Thought and its need to reduce everything to Duality.

The Five-Sign Quincunx Angle offers us Opportunities to Look at the World a little Differently, subtly slipping out of our Habit of Naming and Constraining and Limiting everything we Encounter.  When we Ask a Biomancer to Teach us how to Listen to Plants, the first thing they tell us is to Let Go of any Names we’ve associated with the Plant.  Try it – unless you’re having Senior Moments (which have their advantages), that’s not easy to do.  But when we consider Curiosity to be a Question seeking an Answer, we blithely Discard that Opportunity to Learn and Grow in Consciousness.

Is your Life absolutely Perfect the way it is?  Then don’t Change your Habits of dealing with Confusion and Curiosity as Invitations to Research.  Otherwise, PIAVA to Disrupt them, post-haste.

The current Priority astroevent (Saturn Station at 2 Aquarius) happens close to a Sign Cusp.  We usually use three Degrees of Sensitivity (“Orb” in astrologuese).  That means that we may have Major Angles between planets in Different Qualities or Elements.  For instance,

• The Self-Love symbol (Sappho) at the End of the Ego-Death Sign (30 Virgo)

makes a Major Angle (Trine) to

• The Top-Priority symbol (Stationary Saturn) Early in the Group Relationships Sign (2 Aquarius).

There’s less than three Degrees Difference between them, but they Connect Changing Matter (Mutable Earth) to Stabilized Thought (Fixed Air) – Different Qualities and Different Elements.  Another Opportunity to see the World through Different Eyes and Potentially Crack Open our Ossified Perspective on “Reality.”

Since Four-Sign Angles (Trines) are considered Benefic precisely because they Connect Signs in the same Element, there’s even a legitimate Question whether Cuspal Trines are Trines at all.  All six Angles that the Self-Love symbol (Sappho) makes include Cross-Cuspal Angles.

It’s a bit crude, but you’ll have to bear with me.  It’s been more than 50 years since my Cartography degree – I looked for my tools but couldn’t find them, so I had to draw it by hand.  My Canon printer turned ink-cartridge up, and thanks to the Spumonivirus the same brand wasn’t available, so I had to buy an HP printer.  Of course it wouldn’t talk to the ancient HP laptop that makes my charts.  So we’ll have to make do for a while.

Psyche

Well, the plot thickens again.  After reading an article about how asteroid Psyche, the 16th asteroid discovered, was mostly metal but with water on it, I looked up the asteroid Psyche, to see what she was up to in our Lives.  Lo, she’s sitting right on Orcus and the North Node, and Opposing Neptune.

Psyche’s a very complex figure in Greek Mythology.  She supposedly represents the Heroine’s Journey, but remember, this is Greek Mythology, the story of how the Patriarchy replaces the Matriarchy, subjugating the Feminine.  In most versions of the Story it’s Cupid, or Eros, that Awakens her, as if she couldn’t Awaken on her own without some lad to do it for her.

Asteroid Cupido is just past Pallas (Boundaries), and asteroid Eros is moving towards Saturn, arriving around the 21st or so, a period we’ve already described as very busy.  Psyche’s Two-Spirit counterpart Sappho (Self-Love) crosses Haumea (Rebirth) next week.

In Latin, Psyche’s name is Anima, and in Jung’s view it’s Anima that needs to Awaken in a man’s psyche, not a woman’s.

Cupid was the son of Venus.  He met Psyche when his mom sent him to punish the young lass for being too cute.  No Golden Apples involved, as Psyche, allegedly not having yet been Awakened by Cupid, was too much of a space case, aka Innocent, or Obedient.  Well-behaved, by Patriarchy standards.  Venus of course symbolizes our Values, so here’s a reiteration of our earlier themes of the Life Force overcoming our Shoulds.

In the last few days, Orcus Initiated Psyche at 9 Virgo, a Degree that’s about Self-Expression.  Orcus symbolizes our Vows and their denunciation.  More Life Force overthrowing Moral – intellectual – Conclusions and their Emotional anchors.  The North Node-Psyche Initiation is at 20 Virgo, which is about Cognitive Dissonance.  The NN-Psyche Cycle is about Following our Joy; Cognitive Dissonance is about being Comfortable with Paradox.

“Nature will find its own way through our time of Change in a natural flow.  No intellects to mess it up!  We have a choice.  We can flow with Nature, and with the nature of Change, or we can resist.  It will all play out according to our own personal state of consciousness.

“Without mental or emotional attachments, we can move easily into the new – or by staying attached to our mental and emotional programs, we can stick with more-of-the-same, going nowhere.  The choice will be less intellectual than emotional.  Emotions make the final choices, while the intellect attempts to understand.

Boundaries and Twins

Boundaries continue to be Lit Up strongly.  I find myself learning from several different directions all about sliding through what I normally think of as pretty firm Boundaries – like the Boundary between the Air and the Earth, or between Then and Now.  Here are a couple of other examples of penetrating Boundaries…

Pallas – Boundaries – recently Initiated (22 December, 19 Capricorn, “A five-year-old child carrying a bag filled with groceries“) and Exposed (12 January) by Mercury, and Initiated by Pluto (11 December, 15 Capricorn, “In a hospital, the children’s ward is filled with toys“), is Conjoined by the Sun most of next week, and remains so at the 23 January Full Moon.

In addition, Magic is afoot.  Jupiter-North Node (Expanding into our Mission), Centaur and dwarf planet Chariklo (Walking in Beauty), asteroid and dwarf planet Ceres (Sustainability), and Uranus (Yintegrity) are all Septile or Biseptile to one another, making four sevenths of a Grand Septile (Major Magic).  For much of January, two asteroids -Apollo (Light, Prophecy, Healing) and Panacea (Universal Healing) – occupy the fifth position in mid-Scorpio, and a third asteroid, Psyche (the Soul) sits in the sixth position, in Gemini.

On 19 January, the Moon crosses Psyche.  But on 23 January, at the Full Moon, the Moon occupies position number 7, completing the full Grand Septile – Major Magic, and Major Healing Magic!  The lineup is worth reviewing…

And as a bonus, our Chief Asteroid Officer Elizabeth points out that the asteroid Atropos Conjoins the South Node and Opposes Jupiter for the last half of January.  Atropos is one of the three Fates.  Her two sisters spin and measure out the length of Chord that our individual Lives will span, and Atropos, the Inevitable, cuts the Chord when our Time is up.  The South Node Initiates Atropos at the Full Moon, in 25 Pisces, “A religious organization succeeds in overcoming the corrupting infuence of perverted practices and materialized ideals: The power of the Soul to intervene in the personal life and to induce necessary catharses.“

Wow.  So do we all die in Blissful Healing at the Full Moon?

Well, by now we understand Ego Death, don’t we.  Atropos on the South Node, which represents our Held Emotions, the blocks that Limit us and prevent us from Manifesting our Deepest Desires.  As Elizabeth puts it, Atropos “represents the definitive and irrevocable severing of a situation, affair or process” – our Opportunity to definitively and irrevocably Let Go of our Held Emotions and Limiting Beliefs!

Remember that our Karma does not bind us, we grasp it!  Every time our old Bummers arise, we have the Opportunity to Embrace them again (by rueing them or indulging the negative thoughts, for instance) or Let them Go (by Tapping them Out, or Cancel-Neutralize-Upgrading them, for example).  Karma is Inertia, Habit Patterns.  The more often we Embrace past bummers, the more we cement our Karma in place.  The more often we express our Delight that that was in the Past and is not happening in the Present Moment, the more we create new Habit Patterns.

Have you lately been catching yourself reviewing less than satisfactory Outcomes to old situations?  That’s exactly what we mean.

Ego Deaths aren’t always Wine and Roses; often they feel more like Too Much Wine, and Thorns.  Review the early signals that Ego Death is upon us –

• Getting or Feeling Lost in your own neighborhood or while doing routine tasks
• Confusion
• “I’d rather die than go through that again!”
• “I’d do anything for Love, but I won’t do that!”
• “If only I’d had the wits and the guts to do it differently!”
• Unexpected or unusual Emotions or thoughts
• Feeling Shame or Anger or Regret

Grief is appropriate; Embrace it Tenderly and Lovingly.  It should feel positive, almost like a mild version of Tears of Joy.  If it starts to get Heavy, don’t follow it, Let it Go, Cancel, Neutralize, Upgrade.  Tap it Out.

The sooner you notice that you’re slipping out of your Olde Ego and into something more comfortable, Embrace the Empty Void that will temporarily take its place.  All your Life you’ve been saving up two piles of chips.  The first pile holds all the times you’ve decided it wasn’t worth it, or it wasn’t possible, or it hurt too much, or it was too dangerous, or Mom would never approve, or it was too much trouble to follow your Dreams.  The other pile holds all the times when you daydreamed about how great it would be if you somehow found yourself stepping Efforlessly into your Dreams.

Take the first pile up to the cashier, and trade it in for cash, all of it.  There’s a lot of Energy bound up in those thoughts and resulting Feelings, and you can now let it Create your Dreams.  Bundle up the second pile, along with your new cash stash, and store them in your Solar Plexus.

It’s not like you’re going to go right out and start spending your Lottery winnings.  You’re going to be stumbling around Feeling kind of Autistic for a while.  Let it Be.  Be Gentle with yourself; you’re Newborn.  Keep coming back to Curiosity about what you’ll Co-Create next; Let it Flow out of your Heart and Surprise your mind.  You’ve just been Reborn, so of course you’re going to be taking a while to figure out where you End and the rest of the World begins – if you ever do figure that out!  That’s one of the things that’s likely to be most radically different now.  

Remember you don’t need to DO to Create the Future you want, you need to ALLOW it to happen.  If you catch yourself Working at it, stop and Rest.  It should Feel like Play.  The Universe will deliver it to you, you only need to Call it.  Relax.  It’s Yours.  It won’t go away.

Write “Cancel, Neutralize, Upgrade” at the top of the next twenty pages of your Journal.  You can even Cancel-Neutralize-Upgrade your Bliss if it starts to Feel Overwhelming; it’ll return tenfold, when you’re ready to handle it, after you’ve practiced up.

Whoa – what was that!  A negative thought?  “How many times have I fooled myself thinking it’ll be different now?”  Tap it Out.  This is Big Magic – Let it In.  You might want to go back and reread the LightLover link and the Robert Moss quote now, to see if they’ve Changed.  That’s another sign of Rebirth – things start Changing right before your eyes.

Mercury’s Station

Heulandite heals hesitation to speak our Truth.

Well, “puny” Mercury has the last laugh!  Not surprising, Trickster and Magician that he is.  Mercury symbolizes the First Harmonic, hence ruling Initiation.  So we go nowhere without his approval.

The chart of his November 10 Station (1pm PST) is a well-ordered Spiderweb of Quintiles (orange) and Septiles (light blue)…

Remarkable.  His return from his Retrograde journey is heralded by four parts of a Grand Quintile, forming a cauldron securely capped by a Septile Bridge!  Ceres, Jupiter, the South Node, and the Moon form the all-but Grand Quintile.  Vesta, the Sun, Pluto, and Neptune form the cauldron’s lid.

There is a huge Learning Opportunity (Grand Quintile) here, hidden beneath a veil of Magic (Septile Bridge).

We could Learn Enduring (Ceres) secrets about our Karma (South Node), Manifestation and Authenticity (Moon), and Transcending our Limits (Jupiter). 

These Lessons are protected by the Sacred (Vesta), the Source (Sun), Alchemy (Pluto) and Mystery (Neptune).

Five Quintile Yods create a Grand Quintile.  When one point of the Grand Quintile is missing, three of the five Q-Yods are absent.  The two Q-Yods that remain are Moon with Ceres and Jupiter and Ceres with Moon and South Node…

We’re Learning how Attention to Sustainability (Ceres) and Stepping beyond our Limits (Jupiter) support Authenticity and facilitate Manifestation (Moon).

We’re Learning that Respect for our Experience (South Node) and Respect for the Intuition hidden in our apparently-random Emotions (Moon) create Patterns with Enduring Value (Ceres).

And there is one additional Q-Yod that’s not part of the all-but Grand Quintile, a Uranus Q-Yod with Saturn and Pallas…

We’re Learning how to Identify with and Express our True Self (Uranus) through Attention to the Edges and Boundaries (Pallas) of our Yintegrity, and Prioritizing what’s Most Important (Saturn).

In the Septile Bridge…

Yielding control to Source (Sun) and allowing ourselves to be  Transformed (Pluto) will resolve the Conflicts between The Mystery (Neptune) and our Beliefs about it (Vesta).  Unconscious obsession with these Conflicts absorb our Attention and prevent Timely Action that would yield Miracles.  This Configuration holds the promise of dissolving these Conflicts.

Now, with an all-but Grand Quintile, you know we’re going to be looking at the Vacancy – the empty spot that would fill the Grand Quintile – as the key to the whole drama, eh?

Well, at the Vacancy sits the Conjunction of two asteroids that we don’t usually consider – the Asteroid Persephone and the Asteroid Psyche.  Psyche means “Soul.”  Psyche was so lovely that she made Venus jealous, so Venus sent her son Cupid to torment Psyche.  Instead, Cupid fell in love with Psyche, but through misdirected Curiosity, Psyche wounds Cupid and he flies away.  Wandering in search of Cupid, Psyche falls under the Power – and wrath – of Venus.

Persephone, daughter of Ceres/Demeter, was abducted by Hades (aka Pluto), and served as Queen of the Underworld.  Persephone and Psyche have met before.  Venus, worn out by healing Cupid’s wound, sent her now-servant Psyche on a mission to the Underworld to retrieve a blessing from Persephone, to restore Venus’s beauty for an upcoming event.  Now the thick plottens.  Psyche usurped the blessing, it backfired, and she had to be rescued by a now-healed Cupid.  Cupid appeals to Jupiter/Zeus, who intervenes with Venus, and grants Psyche immortality so she can marry Cupid.

It’s Jupiter’s son Mercury who gets the job of assembling the Gods so Jupiter can proclaim these decisions.  In the Station chart, Mercury Septiles Jupiter and Sextiles Venus, while Venus Conjoins Pluto.  Stationary Mercury Trines Stationary Neptune.  We can summarize all these complex Shakespearean relationships simply with…

I was joking with a friend the other day about how the planets seem to be conspiring since the End of Time, as if they’re acting out some script presenting the Earth with coordinated Challenges and Blessings.  After this “coincidence,” it feels a lot less like a joke.
