Truth and Fire

Once we get past the current Entanglements, which should give us some Breathing room by 23 November, the next Big Deal isn’t until 28 November, though of course we’ll begin Feeling it by the 24th or 25th, so take some good deep Breaths on the 23rd while you can.  The event is, from the Calendar (https://astrobuss.wordpress.com/category/1-calendar/)…

Aletheia turning Retrograde in 9 Leo on 28 November (11pm PST).

Note that we haven’t had time to add the string of Initiations of Sappho to the Calendar; we will soon.  In the interim, find them in https://astrobuss.wordpress.com/2017/11/16/nightmares-of-abuse-et-al/.  The Aletheia Station occurs just a few hours before Hylonome Initiates Sappho, which implies a couple of things…

• Truth (Aletheia) will be Relentless throughout this new three year-four month Sappho-Hylonome Cycle.  The Sappho-Hylonome Cycle is about Letting Go of all Impediments to Unconditional Self-Love.

• Facing Truth about our Impediments to Self-Love will be a big part of the Aletheia Station we’ll be Feeling from about 24th to 28th November.

The Hylonome-Sappho Initiation occurs in 7 Capricorn, “A veiled prophet speaks, seized by the power of a god.”  That sounds like we can Trust our Guidance even more than usual for the next several years.  Remember that your Guidance is never wrong; when it seems wrong it’s because it’s setting you up for a strong Lesson about your Mission and your Goals.

The Aletheia-Station chart is pretty tight…

It’s biggest features are the big Fire Grand Trine (blue isoceles triangle, signifying Spiritual Grace) and three T-Squares (red right triangles, implying Mastery through Challenge).  The T-Square are…

• Aletheia/Truth itself is a corner of the T-Square/Challenge focused on Vesta and Jupiter – our Unconscious Beliefs (Vesta) will be Lit Up Bigtime (Jupiter).  The third corner is Nemesis/Ego Death, so we’ll probably be Encountering circumstances where deeply held Self-Sabotaging Limiting Beliefs will be Exposed for Exactly what they are, Self-Sabotaging and Limiting.  If we’re lucky our resulting Ego Death won’t happen while we’re in the middle of a speech to the assembled masses, so we can only hope that (for their own Salvation and ours) some of our most Abusive “Leaders” will be unlucky.  Remember that we’re Letting Go of all Impediments to Unconditional Self-Love.

• The aforementioned Letting Go of all Impediments to Unconditional Self-Love (Sappho-Hylonome) is the focus of a second T-Square, with Moon (Authenticity) Opposing Eurydike (Trust) as the base.  Lots of Opportunities to Decide to Trust that we’re Safe being Authentic – which means being willing to talk about our Real Feelings rather than being “nice” or politically correct or non-committal or absent.

• The third T-Square focuses on the Sun (our Essence) from a base of Neptune (Material Confusion and Spiritual Clarity) Opposing Veritas-Orcus – Getting Conscious of and facing Truth (Veritas) about Obsolete Decisions (Orcus) we’ve made that have become Unconscious or Semi-Conscious Habits. 

We may have any number of backlogged Obsolete Vows, like the one we made never to go out of the house at night after we were stalked by a Cougar on the way home from school in 1824, or the one about avoiding crowds after the Stonewall Uprising or the Réveillon Riots.  More timely topics, though, might include Religious Vows, a promise you made to yourself not to talk about the things your Uncle did to you because he said he would kill you if you did, or the pledge you made with your mates at age 12 never to treat Girls with Respect.

The big Fire Grand Trine – Stationary Aletheia in Leo (Truth as a matter of Honor and Ethics), Moon in Aries (Uninhibited Creativity), and Sun in Sagittarius (Letting Go of Constraints) – promises that following this trio of suggestions will produce splendid Results.  Be a little careful not to take anything for Granted, or to get too Ego-Attached to your Results.  Your Success is due to a Gift from the Goddess, not because you’re the Cat’s Meow.  By all means Self-Love is in Order, Bigtime, just remember that it’s a Co-Creation, and Humbly Thank your Guide in the Endeavor.

The first week of December brings Stations from Orcus (Oath-Breaking), Mnemosyne (Memory), and Mercury (Communication).  Decisions (especially those made under duress), Vows, Oaths, Promises, Pledges, and the like tend to become Limiting Beliefs as we gradually forget their context.  As we were growing up, and out of Unconsciousness, we had to remind ourselves to be Attentive about things like looking both ways, being Respectful to our fellow travelers, taking less pride in our farts, saying Please and Thank You, being careful not to lose things, being shy or immodest, and many other details of modern life.  While those seem like minor details, they can easily become Limiting Beliefs.  Being Respectful can be confused with being Subservient in situations where we would otherwise be screaming NO! for instance.

Those examples pale beside more serious Habits we Chose to or were forced to Adopt from our family of origin, community, nationality, religion, or any number of other more diffuse sources.  We may as well Celebrate the fact that the first week of December will be a very productive time to Identify Habits that are Self-Sabotaging, possibly discover their Source, and Make Amends to ourself.  Chariklo will be Initiating Sappho during this time, giving us Opportunities to gain Confidence in our Self-Love.
