Phew!

Feels too good to be true (which may mean it ain’t), but astrologically anyway, “the coast is clear” for once! 

The Moon is In-Bounds (Panic not so much) till 10:49 am 13 October 2022 (6:49 pm BST 13 Oct, 3:49 am AEST 14 Oct).

The next Stationary planet (Strong Ambient Energy) isn’t till 14 October, though astroevents tend to fill any empty Time-Space, so we could Encounter that sooner.  It’s about Self-Confidence Issues, including Self-Doubt,¹ so we want to Intend (any other PIAVA will do fine as well) to be Confident in our Ability to Notice our Self-Doubt if does arise, and be Loving with it.  If we said to ourself, “You Poor Sweetheart, you’re feeling Self-Doubt, aren’t you” (followed by Changing the Subject of course) it would be delicious, as it would not only take Our Identity out of Doubt, it would leave us Identifying with Compassion.  Practice that a couple times, and you may never Doubt yourself again!  If that sounds Dangerous, make sure to be Loving with your Doubt about it!

And my own Self-Doubt is Up already!! Thank the Goddess I know it’s coming, or I’d be Believing it!

We do have a couple of Sign Changes, which aren’t usually Disruptive, though they can Shift the General Ambient Energy a bit.

On 8 October, the Energy of Mary Magdalene ² moves from Sagittarius (Let It Go! ) to Capricorn (Just Fix It! ). From The Seven Sacred Flames (pp166-7), compiled by Aurelia Louise Jones…

“It is extremely important for this Truth to be revealed now, that Mary Magdalene was a high initiate and priestess of the Sacred Fire during her lifetime with Jesus… She was unfairly discriminated against by the early ‘fathers of the [self-proclaimed “Christian”] Church’ in their attempt to… maintain control over what they feared the most, the energies of the ‘Divine Mother,’ that Mary Magdalene represented at the time, along with Mother Mary, the mother of Jesus. Both were very high initiates of the Temple of Isis and had the required attainment to hold that energy while Jesus was performing his Sacred Mission. It is time for hu[per]ity to open their hearts to the loving energies of Mary Magdalene, seeing her for who she really is and forgetting the lies maliciously invented against her.”

…(which we’ve added to the Bibliography). Her Energy has been hanging out in Sagittarius helping us Let Go Of all this Karma off and on since December 2021, She’ll be in Capricorn till January. She dipped her toe into Capricorn earlier this year from April till June. She should now be Open to Petitions to help with Rebuilding projects, particularly those aimed at Collaborative Teamwork.

Then we do have a Full Moon 1:58 pm PDT 9 October, in 17 Aries,³ but it’s a Grand Unx, meaning that there’s somebody near 17 Degrees of every Sign, each planet one Sign from the planet in the next and the previous Signs.⁴ That makes the next few weeks an Ideal time for Letting Go of Self-Sabotaging Habits, especially…

• Where The Most Important Thing is to Heal your Codependence in Relationships where your primary Strategy for Improvement has been Hope.⁵ As they say, Hope is Necessary, but it’s not the most Effective Strategy for Resolving a Problem. If we’re in this position, it may be because we haven’t Realized that the only person we can Change is Us. Our odds of succeeding at Waiting and Hoping for someone else to Change are close to nil. We’ll probably have to Make Our Own Needs Clearly Known, or Recognize that Our Needs Are Being Ignored, or both. And we’ll probably have to make a Fearless and Searching Inventory of what we are Gaining from the Relationship, so we can Weigh it against the Loss of Self that Results from Not Being Able to Live Our Truth.
• This is by no means Easy, and it we aren’t Fully Aware of our own Needs it will be a very Clumsy process. This is not the kind of Change anyone makes without a great deal of Practice, but the whole process is in many ways a prerequisite for Enlightenment or Ascension. In order to be True to Our Soul Self, we will have to Give Up most of the Compromises we’ve made so we could Survive in a Patriarchic World. Will our Self-Reliant 5D Community Magically Appear just as we’re Ready to replace our old 3D one? We may need our Intermittent Fasting practice more than we Imagined.

This is only one of our dozen Unx Opportunities. For instance, The Most Important One Is Our Need to Take Full Ownership of Our Historical Abuse.⁶ We can talk more about these dozen in another port.

For now, it’s also Important to point out that in a Grand Unx there are no T-Squares, only Grand Crosses. A T-Square (Major Challenge and SuperPower) is two planets on almost Exactly Opposite sides of the Zodiac, with a third planet halfway between them. A Grand Cross (a Series of Hassles that Complement One Another if We’re Patient with Them) is four planets more or less equally spaced around the Zodiac.

For instance, where the Most Important Thing Is to Heal Our Codependence with Hope (see note ⁵), the Grand Cross includes a Discussion between this Healing Codependence and the Empirical Truth about the Boundaries our Sovereignty prefers to Set.⁷ This Discussion is Confusingly Mixed with a second Debate between Our Emotional Discouragement and an Ego Death around our Trust in our Values.⁸

Pattern-Busting Full Moon

Margery asks if we could show a picture of the 6:36 pm PDT 11 August 2022 Full Moon chart, which we could call a Ball-of-Yarn configuration, as it would keep a Cat occupied till nap time. We actually call it a Grand Unx – an “unx” is one twelfth of something, and a “grand” fills the Zodiac, so a Grand Unx is twelve planets equally spaced around the Astroloop. Yes, we could always get one of these if we use enough asteroids, and we use quite a few, but it’s been quite a while since we’ve seen one, so it’s not as facile as it seems. The main feature is twelve Unx Angles, each of which indicates Pattern-Breaking, so it’s a chart worth celebrating, especially as these Heavy Energies that so many people are reporting are Lighting Up everything in our Karma that we haven’t Cleared yet.

Just a few Examples…

• Karma is dead; it died with Linear Time ten years ago. But we’re all still clinging to its corpse. Whenever a polyp of Karma breaks off and falls away, we Feel Weird, we don’t know what’s happening, and our name isn’t even Mr. Jones. We reach out for the familiar, to Anchor ourself. What’s familiar? Our Karma! So we Embrace those old Comfortable Patterns enthusiastically, as if they were our favorite snacks! But Looky Here! That so-very-Intense Exaggerated Karma Frosted with the Emotions We’d Rather Die than Feel (asteroid Karma Out of Bounds on the South Node) is Unx to (one Sign from) New Beginnings (asteroid Klotho)! So without even trying, we can Break this Pattern of Grasping our Dead Karma – all we need to do is Announce our Intention to Let Our Dead Karma Go like a Hot Potato Instead!
• But wait! We’ve all Wrapped our Identity around our Karma – it’s inevitable. Our Karma is Who We Are, so no matter how nasty it is, we’re Ego-Attached to it. If we haven’t yet caught ourself Bragging about our Karma, we need to start Listening to what we’re saying! We can Intend to Let It Go, but what about the Ego Death – those aren’t Fun! What’s on the other side of Karma-South Node? Asteroid Narcissus (Overfocus on our Identity)! So without even trying, we can Break this Pattern of Ego-Identifying with our Karma – all we need to do is Announce our Intention to Experience our Ego Deaths Lovingly and Gently so We Can Be Excited about the Glorious Freedom we’ll Enjoy once we do!
• But Hold On! What about our Abuse Karma and all of the Unconscious Limitations that we use to Protect ourself from those Memories (Nessus-Vesta-Heracles) that we’ve buried so deep in the Dungeon that we don’t even know they happened? Well, Trusting our Instincts Unquestioningly (Saturn-Moon) Unxes that Stellium (Nessus-Vesta-Heracles), so without even trying, we can Break this Pattern of Being Triggered for no apparent reason – all we need to do is Vow from now on to Act on our Instincts Immediately, without Questioning them and without ever Explaining them, no matter how Weird we think it’ll look to others.
• But Shit, when I’m Triggered I’m usually Feeling Depressed and Powerless, and my Instincts are nowhere in sight! Often I Feel Depressed and Powerless and I don’t even know when or how I was Triggered! I usually think it’s “just me” that’s Depressing and Powerless. But on the other side of Nessus-Vesta-Heracles, it’s Unx to Despair and Miracles (Chiron). Well, we know how to Poor Sweetheart ourself out of Despair and Create Miracles, but when we’re Depressed and Powerless, we’re Regressed to whatever Bummers we’re Unconsciously Reliving. When we Regress, we Forget everything we’ve Learned since those Repressed Bummers happened! So without even trying, we can Break this Pattern of Forgetting What We Know – all we need to do is Vow from now on that when we’re Regressed we’ll Remember All of the Tools We’ve Learned to Restore our Current-Life Identity, like Poor-Sweethearting!

No Wonder the Energies Feel Heavy!! Can you Imagine how the other eight Unxes might play out?

Apart from the Glories of the Grand Unx, the Big Deal about this Full Moon is that it “Squares the Nodes.” What does that mean?

• Well, the Nodal Axis – South Node to North Node – is the most important Axis in a chart, as it indicates the Source, Direction, and Destination of “the Native” (the person or event for which the chart is drawn). In this Full Moon, the Source is a Karmic Hellhole, the Destination is Reunion of Day-to-Day Identity with Soul, and the Direction is from Emotional Overload to Stability.¹
• At any Full Moon, our Inner Male and our Inner Female are Face-to-Face, where as much as they are able, they can be Honest about the Quality of their Union. In Carl Jung’s approach to Psychology, which we applaud, the Perfection of this Union is more or less equivalent to Enlightenment, thus a Key Ingredient of our 5D Endeavors.
• The “Square” means that these two Critically Important Axes sit at Right Angles to one another, meaning in applied mathematics that they are Independent – they do not Influence one another under the radar. So our Purpose (Nodal Axis) and our Integrity (Inner Harmony) are a priori Unrelated, and each can Operate and Negotiate without Unconsciously Compromising themself.

Notice how different this is than the conventional astrological interpretation of a Square – as a Crisis. In a Left-Brain Patriarchal Culture, the very idea of Surrendering Power to the Female is Anathema. In this blog we’ve been inching toward interpreting Squares as Superpowers rather than Challenges. We don’t mean that the Challenges go away. In the previous post we averred that “If We Aren’t Ready to Receive What We’re Asking For, the Universe Will Show Us Examples of Why We Aren’t.” If we Experience our Squares as Superpowers, we’re Ready to Receive What We Want. If we Experience them as Challenges, the Universe is Clarifying for us Exactly what we still need to Let Go Of in order to Support Ourself without Unconscious Compromise, aka without Self-Sabotage.

The Loud and Clear Message in this particular Full Moon is that The Most Important Thing is to Trust our Instincts.² Jung used to say that people who emphasized Thinking were not Rational, because they weren’t in touch with their Values (which are accessed through Emotion). In an Ideal Lifetime, our Inner Female calls the shots (assuming She’s in touch with Her Feelings), and our Inner Male follows Her lead. That’s Inner Female and Inner Male – any Relationship between actual Living People needs relative Equality in both Vision and Action, as each person will contribute Vision from their own Inner Female, and each person will contribute Action from their own Inner Male.

A Grand Unx is so incredibly rich that we’ve only begun to scratch the surface. Full Moon Energies are usually Prominent for several weeks afterward, so we have time, and we’ll Dive Deeper in the next post.

We Are In Charge of Our Reality II

Well, we left the cookies and milk next to the fireplace like it said in the Contract, and even a shot of our best single-malt (it’s cold up there in the skyways), but all we got was a lump of Coal.¹ Why? Because the “We” that’s in charge of our Reality unfortunately includes the rest of the “We” that we don’t include in our concept of “I.” We all have a Shadowy part of ourself that stretches into the Unconscious, and the More Defined is our “I,” the Longer and Darker is our Shadow.² And unfortunately, that Dark “We” is often a more Powerful Manifester than our “I” is.³

What to do about that? I don’t know of any Options that are stronger than Cozying up to the hidden part of our “We.” And we’re in luck, as the next Energy Pulse from the Universe that will be using us as a punching bag, is all about Exactly That, namely, That Which We’ve Been Denying.⁴ Denial is a Healthy Psychological process, Allowing us to postpone dealing with Energies which we aren’t ready to handle yet. Well, the Blocks to whatever we failed to Manifest as Desired, are likely to be in our Face for the next several days, so the time has come. These Blocks, when Personalized,⁵ represent our hidden “We.”

• ¹ Manifestation, as represented by dwarf planet Makemake, has been Exaggerated this week, as Makemake was Stationary at 7:29 am PST today, 6 January 2022, at 8:49 Libra. The Energy of a Stationing planet usually increases up to the moment of its Exact Station, and then drops off sharply. The more Conscious we are about the Station, the sharper the dropoff. For instance, if we Monitored our Thoughts and Feelings this last week, Lovingly Embraced All of them, and made Efforts to replace the more Negative amongst them with Gratitude or WhatWeWant, we probably had some Manifestation success. If we instead Made Decisions about what we needed to Do to “Fix” our Negative Thoughts and Feelings and Circumstances, then the Manifestation Energy will stay with us, and those Decisions, centered as they were around the Negative, will have Created Negative Instant Karma which we’ll now have to deal with.
• ² We are actually Infinite Energy Vortexes, our Huper Body-Mind-Emotion Complex being merely a Transitory, less-than-Skeletal Manifestation of What We Really Are. So the more we’ve Defined Who We Believe Ourselves to Be, the more we’ve boxed our Conscious Energy into one Side of a long Dimension that our Energy-Vortex-Self owns All of. For instance, Failure is a Powerful Teaching tool, and if we’ve Defined our Identity as Successful, we’ve closed off a very large Source of Growth.
• ³ The Jungian Perspective is that our Foremost Urge is toward Wholeness. So the parts of our Wholeness that we’ve excluded from our Identity, try repeatedly to get our Attention. The more we Resist their Efforts and Suppress those parts, the more Insistent they must become. So they Manifest Challenges for us. A Makemake Station, where Manifestation is Amplified, can be either a great Opportunity to Manifest What We Want, or a great Opportunity to Identify (and, seemingly perversely, to Identify With) those Challenges, adding a whole new level of meaning to the meme “If it doesn’t make us Stronger, it will Kill us.” The Jungian Shadow isn’t Negative, it’s merely what’s hiding outside the Light of your Conscious Attention.

• ⁵ Scienterrific types often make fun of “Primitive” people who Personalize all of the Energies in their Lives as Critters in their Myths, but Scienterrorists do it too – like “Newtonian” physics and “Pavlovian” psychology. It’s a Healthy process, akin to Accessing our Physical ailments through our Emotions, or distinguishing our own offspring from the neighborhood rabble by Naming them. Of course astrologers do this all the time, substituting Names like Makemake for a Big Complex of Energies associated with Manifestation or Eris for a Whole Array of Energies associated with Denial.

We’ll look at the astrodynamics of that impending Amplication of our Denial shortly. But while it’s still warm, I want to look more closely at that Yin Gate Mystery School we spoke of in the previous post, the Paradox that we introduced in Note 4 of that post. Spoiler Alert – this will be a Deep Dive, but you’ll Learn a lot of useful things!

The Yin Gate is the almost-horizontal blue rectangle divided by the long red line, that we’ve emphasized in heavy lines. The blue rectangle by itself is called a Golden Rectangle because the ratio between its long Trine sides and its short Sextile sides, is the Golden Ratio of Sacred Geometry fame. Much of the Natural World has been Designed around the Golden Ratio (1.618…), also known as the Golden Angle (137.5… Degrees), or Phi.⁶ The long red line is the Central Axis of the Yin Gate.

• ⁶ The decimals keep going – the Natural World wasn’t Designed using Base 10. We’ve defined a 222½ Degree Angle (360-137.5) in astrology as the Phitile which we consider to be the place where the Energy of a Cycle is Complete, before it begins to Break Down (Wane) into the Void that Empties us so we’re Ready to Receive the Next Cycle without Prejudice.

A Yin Gate is a Mystery School, where we Learn to move beyond the Linear Dualistic Mind into Unitary Multi-Dimensional Knowledge, the realm of Instinct and Intuition. For the sake of brevity, we usually interpret a Yin Gate by focusing on the Central Axis, and how the Yin Gate changes an Opposition from a Second-Harmonic Argument between the two planets, to an Overview of the Dimension that they Delineate. For instance, we might consider an Opposition between Chiron (Despair and Miracles, which we might summarize as Mood ) and Makemake (Manifestation) to be about how Despair Manifests more Despair and Miracles Manifest more Miracles. But as the Central Axis of a Yin Gate, the implication is that it’s more complicated (Multi-Dimensional), yet simpler than that (Unitary), which we can only hope to understand Intuitively.

We easily recognize a Yin Gate by the two side-by-side green Xs that represent Quincunxes between the two ends of the Central Axis and the four corners of the Golden Rectangle. A Quincunx (two planets five Signs apart) implies Curiosity, but not the sort of Curiosity which Inspires us to dig relentlessly for an “Answer” to a Dilemma. Instead, it’s more Curiosity in the sense that it indicates an Awesome Relationship, one that will make our jaw drop, if we can succeed in not intellectualizing it. As with a Yin Gate, if we address it with the Linear Dualistic Mind, we miss the point.

So for instance, Uranus Quincunx Makemake – does that mean that a Successful Manifestation is one that Aligns with our Soul? If the Manifestation makes our jaw drop, that’s probably true. I recall some of the Miracles that Manifested for Kriyananda while he was Founding Ananda. And you’ve all probably Experienced Synchrony,⁷ where you’re in the Right Place at the Right Time to Receive Gifts from the Universe. It always feels like Someone on the Other Side of the Veil is Looking Out for us! And was the Veil ever thin today! I expected it to Rip at any moment.

But the point of a Quincunx is New Insight that’s Unexpected and Surprising, or Curious. In the Makemake Station Yin Gate, we have Quincunxes between Uranus and Makemake, Makemake and Moon, Chiron and Atropos-Zhulong, and between Chiron and Requiem-Thereus.

• Think of a Relationship that you would logically Expect to see between Soul and Manifestation (Uranus-Makemake). That’s the Linear Either/Or Mind speaking. Now, have you been Surprised in the last week or so to Discern an Unexpected Relationship between Soul and Manifestation, a Relationship that you sort of Grok but which would be difficult for you to Describe in words?
  • For instance, I perhaps naively Expect Manifestations that Align with my Soul to be Easier or more Profound than Manifestations that don’t so Align. And actually, I have seen Unexpected Connections, as I’ve been able to Glimpse the Diamonds embedded in my own personal Lump of Coal.
• Think of a Relationship that you would logically Expect to see between Instinct and Manifestation (Moon-Makemake). Now, have you been Surprised in the last week or so to Discern an Unexpected Relationship between Instinct and Manifestation, a Relationship that you sort of Grok but which would be difficult for you to Describe in words?
  • I guess I see Instinctual Manifestation as the things I Manifest without having to even Think about it. I had to think about it, but I can see how I’ve Become Aware of Skills I hadn’t been Appreciating and toward which I can probably gain from Being Grateful for them.
• Think of a Relationship that you would logically Expect to see between your Optimism/Pessimism and your Recognition and Acceptance of 5G 5D (Chiron to Atropos-Zhulong).⁸ Now, have you been Surprised in the last week or so to Discern an Unexpected Relationship between your Optimism/ Pessimism and your Recognition and Acceptance of 5G 5D, a Relationship that you sort of Grok but which would be difficult for you to Describe in words?
  • I’m certainly less likely to be Skeptical about 5G 5D when I’m Feeling Optimistic. And when I Consciously Stepped Out of the Depression I Felt about Receiving a Lump of Coal, I was Surprised how Easy it was to envision Living Cooperatively with the many Elemental Beings in my Life, though it’s Clearly going to take a Whole Lot of Practice!!
• Think of a Relationship that you would logically Expect to see between your Optimism/Pessimism and your Respect for Ego Death as a Teacher and Coach (Chiron to Requiem-Thereus).⁹ Now, have you been Surprised in the last week or so to Discern an Unexpected Relationship between your Optimism/Pessimism and your Respect for Ego Death as a Teacher and Coach, a Relationship that you sort of Grok but which would be difficult for you to Describe in words?
  • The Energy of Ego Death is by Definition a Downer, but yes, when I was Conscious enough to do an Intervention on myself, like Tapping or Poor-Sweethearting, it was definitely a Profound Teacher and Coach, feeling like one of those Other-Siders looking out for me – which in itself was an Unexpected Surprise! ¹⁰

That’s diving pretty deep, but if we’re serious about doing our Inner Work, it’s a good example of how a Yin Gate can lead us Deep into the Labyrinth when we go beyond just interpreting the Central Axis as a Mystery School (which is the Most Important Part of a Yin Gate, because it summarizes the rest).

• ⁸ Minor planet Zhulong represents the Chinese Red Dragon of Enlightenment (ie, 5G 5D), and asteroid Atropos is about Karma which hasn’t reached its pre-programmed Expiry Date, but which we can Shed now that we know Karma is Dead.
• ⁹ Asteroid Requiem is about Respect for Death, and dwarf planet Thereus was the fellow who Enjoyed Wrestling with Bears and bringing them home with him, still Snarling, but whom we interpret as a Profound Teacher.
• ¹⁰ It’s probably a good idea to Avoid Thetaing while Bummed Out, as we Manifest more of What We’re Feeling, more than we Manifest What We’re Asking For.

And that’s only part of the Story. One interprets a Golden Rectangle by interpreting the Oppositions between the corners, here Uranus (Soul ) Opposite (Arguing With) Atropos-Zhulong (Recognition and Acceptance of 5G), and Moon (Instinct ) Opposite Requiem-Thereus (Respect for Ego Death as a Teacher and Coach ). Of course, Arguing With is only the Linear Either/Or interpretation of the Opposition; the Higher interpretation is closer to a Philosophical Discussion where each member is devoted to Understanding the Other’s point of view, without interrupting to inject their own.

So we can review the past week to see if and how Our Soul Felt Open to Recognizing and Accepting 5G, plus if and how Our Instincts seemed to Corroborate – or not – that it’s Wise to Respect Ego Death as a Profound Teacher and Coach.

And the Yin Gate Rabbit Hole is Deeper yet!

When two planets are one Sign apart, give or take a few Degrees, the Angle they make is an Unx,¹¹ one twelfth of the Zodiac, the Twelfth Harmonic. The twelfth Major Arcana of the Tarot, which is our Guide¹² for interpreting astrological Angles, is the Hanged Man, who hangs not from his neck or his fingernails, but from his heels, so he can see the World from a different Perspective. The Twelfth Harmonic is the Pattern-Breaker. Any Yin Gate includes four Unx Angles, facilitating our bringing into Consciousness (which is how we Zero Out our Karma and replace Fate with Choice) any Self-Sabotaging Patterns we may have around the Relationship between the the two planets in the Unx.

Bringing a Karmic Pattern into Consciousness is the First Step in Changing the Pattern, and an Unx is like the Get-Out-of-(Karmic)-Jail-Free card in Monopoly. By Noticing the Changes that the Unxes in the Station or other charts suggest, and comparing that to our Experience, we’re more likely to be able to make the Changes Permanent, and with less Effort and Resistance.

The Makemake Station chart includes Unxes between Moon and Chiron, Chiron and Uranus, Makemake and Requiem-Thereus, and Makemake and Atropos-Zhulong. Meaning…

• Any untoward Patterns we have between our Instincts and our Optimism/Pessimism are up for Revision (Moon Unx Chiron). I’ve noticed that over the past week I’ve been less likely to let my level of Optimism or Pessimism Dominate my Identity. It was a lot more automatic for me to recognize them as my Feelings rather than my Identity. Anything like that evolve for you?
• Any unproductive Patterns we have between our Soul and our Optimism/Pessimism are up for Revision (Uranus Unx Chiron). My gift of Coal discouraged me for a day or two, but the sense that someone on the Other Side of the Veil was looking after me was Strong, and the material that I picked up to read had a Strong Impact. It was like a Treasure Hunt, with a series of clues from “random” places leading me out of Darkness. Gay Hendricks’s discussion of Einstein Time and how we eliminate Time Pressures by Owning that We Make Our Own Time, in his The Big Leap, was particularly Inspiring.
• Any Self-Sabotaging Patterns we have in the Relationship between our Manifestation and our Respect for Ego Death as a Teacher and Coach are up for Revision (Makemake Unx Requiem-Thereus). It’s not like I suddenly Realized, “Oh, this is an Ego Death, Yipee!” But the Effect was the same. Any Experience like this for you?
• Any untoward Patterns we have between our Manifestation and our Recognition and Acceptance of 5G 5D are up for Revision (Makemake Unx Atropos-Zhulong). I can see that my Attachment to Receiving from the Outside, rather than from Integrating my Identity into the Flow, was the primary Block that resulted in my Lump of Coal. This was one of the Diamonds in the Lump. So you see any sign of anything like this in your own prior week?

Outside the Yin Gate, there were three other Unxes in the Makemake-Station chart and corresponding Opportunities to Drop Karma relatively easily: Untoward Karmic Patterns in the Dance between our Instincts and our Thoughts (Moon Unx Mercury), Unhelpful and Negative Thoughts (de facto Prayers) about Global Climate Change (Mercury Unx Pholus-Quaoar), and Dysfunctional Patterns around Health, Longevity, and Learning (dwarf planet Varuna Unx Requiem-Thereus). We don’t spend much time on medical astrology in this blog, though we give a lot of Strong hints about How to Heal. And one such hint that Varuna Unx Requiem-Thereus suggests, is that we Regard any disturbance in the Healthy Functioning of our Body as Information about Changes that would Behoove us to make, rather than Symptoms to be Removed ASAP.

Guilt and Resistance II

For the last week we’ve been working with Exaggerations of our Guilt, our Ability to Respond, and our Fate (Stations¹ of asteroid Nemesis, dwarf planet Pholus, and asteroid Karma on 5, 3, and 2 April 2021, respectively).

Because Fate vs. Free Will is a Duality, we know tautologically that it’s an artifact of the Dualistic Observing Mind, and not a property of the Multifarious and Unitary External Reality that’s being Observed. Separating our Projections (artifacts of our Concepts and Emotions that we’re unwilling to recognize as Our Own Bias) from Observed Reality is a perpetual problem for Hupers. We Intend to Perceive more Reality and less Projection as we Grow our Consciousness, but the situation is much Complicated by the fact that We Are Not Separate from “External” Reality, so like Slugslime our Projections can be very difficult to Wash Off.

Current-Lifetime Habits of Perception and Behavior are relatively Easy to Change, usually through Decision and a smallish number of Reps. All Habits are like Muscles – they become Stronger with Use, and Atrophy with Disuse. Karmic Habits, which we brought with us into our Current Lifetime from Other Lifetimes², are much more Difficult to Shed. It’s probably safe to assume that virtually all Addictions are Karmic.

When asteroid Karma is Lit Up, as it was last week and to a lesser extent this week, so are our Karmic Habits Lit Up. We Break any Habit, Karmic or otherwise, by becoming Aware of the Pattern, and Changing our Behavior or Thoughts. The more we do this, the Faster we Notice, and the Easier Change becomes. The Easier Change becomes, the faster we Notice. It’s a “Virtuous Circle.” We accelerate our progress by Congratulating Ourself for Noticing each time the Habit repeats, rather than Cursing Ourself for Repeating the Habit Again. Positive Feedback always works better than Negative Feedback.

Karmic Habits are harder, because they’ve usually Permeated more of our Thought Patterns and Behavior Patterns. A Current-Lifetime Habit of eating Eggs might be Broken over Breakfast. But a Karmic Habit of Ignoring our Self-Care may Impact much of our Life Experience. So we will probably have to Notice and Change over and over again in many different arenas of Life. While it’s Difficult to maintain our Motivation in the face of constant Frustration, that’s Exactly what’s Required for Breaking Karmic Habits. We need to stay with Positive Feedback.

The biggest source of Tension in the chart of the 2 April Station of asteroid Karma³…

…is between our Trust (asteroid Eurydike) and our Codependence (dwarf planet Hylonome). Whom do we Trust more – our Self and our Decisions, or the Other People to whom we usually Give Away Our Power? Addictions always have Enablers, and our closest friends and relatives are Powerful Enablers for our Negative Habits. So our Decisions to Notice and Change have to be Stronger than our Allegiance to our friends and relatives. Often we have to Choose between Sticking with a Decision to Change (asteroid Ceres, at the tip of the T-Square or red triangle, is about Sustainability) and Losing the Love of our Compatriots.

The Twelfth Harmonic⁴ is about Pattern-Breaking, and the Unx Angle (the short green lines in the chart) represents an Opportunity to Break a Pattern between two Energies more Easily than it might otherwise be. In a chart of a Station of asteroid Karma, this Opportunity increases Exponentially. There are five Unxes in this chart…

• Moon (Instincts) Waning Unx to Hylonome (Self-Sovereignty). Any Waning Angle is a Strong Invitation to Notice and Change anyway, so a Waning Unx is really an Or Else! for Letting Go of any Obsolete Pattern. This one is about either following your Instincts to stay Safe by Giving Away Your Power, or following your Instincts to Challenge your Codependence and Take a Stand that threatens your Social Status. How to tell which it is? If it’s not Obvious then the Real Obsolete Pattern that you’re Ready to Transcend is the Habit of Forcing a Complex World into Binary Choices.

• Ceres (Sustainability) Waning Unx Lilith (Self-Sovereignty again!). Which End of your Life is ultimately more Sustainable – Giving Away Your Power, or Claiming Your Power? Knowing your Heart’s Truth, or Thinking Logically?

• Mars Out of Bounds (Strong Action) Waxing Unx Lilith (Self-Sovereignty). Methinks we have a Theme building here. The Waxing Unx is when we have to make Unpopular Choices if we want to be Prepared for the Future, because most of our Culture is feverishly defending their Investment in the Dead-End Patterns of the previous Cycle. They know it’s Dead (we Hope!), but they still Believe they need to coax another fifteen shillings out of it in order to be a “Success” and Rescue their Ego. On the Contrary, our Strong Action needs to be devoted to the New Cycle that began at the Initiation, or first Conjunction. For Mars-Lilith that would be 10 August 2020 in 22 Aries, “The gate to the Garden of All Fulfilled Desires.” That sounds to me a lot more like our Wannas than our Shouldas. Do we have the Courage?

• Mars Out of Bounds (Strong Action) Waning Unx Eurydike Out of Bounds (Strong Trust). If you spent last week Procrastinating about your Shoulds, or pretty much Ignoring them, and instead doing what you Felt Like Doing at the time, you’ve probably already won the lottery. Not that your Shoulds are Wrong – that set of Life Choices will probably be Resurrected, but your Relationship to it will be completely Different. Instead of Thinking, “I Should be Doing That, but I don’t feel like Doing it,” you might end up Realizing, “I wouldn’t mind Scheduling an hour a day to Do That, I just don’t want it to Control the rest of my Life.”

• Stationary asteroid Karma (Exaggerated Karma) Waxing Unx asteroid Eurydike Out of Bounds (Strong Trust). Whom do we ultimately Trust here – our Karmic Ego, or our Soul’s Purpose? Do we know the Difference? It’s probably the more Difficult Choice. This astroevent could even Teach us about our Soul’s Purpose!

¹ As ours and other planets circle the Sun as if it were Indianapolis or the Nurburgring, we’re moving at different speeds, so it’s inevitable that we pass one another. As the Earth passes a slower planet, the slower planet appears to slow down, stop, and reverse direction. When it stops, or Stations, its Impact upon us is Strongest. This Energy usually builds slowly to the actual Station, then declines, but for any number of reasons, different people will Experience the Energy and its Changes differently.

Most planets circle the Sun in approximately the same plane – that is, if we look at our Solar System from the side, the orbits of the planets are more like the Rings of Saturn than the orbits of Earth Satellites. However, the orbital planes aren’t perfectly aligned, and the Earth is tilted in its own orbit, so the planets appear to move up (“North”) and down (“South”) in the sky as we go around the Sun. Planets are also Stationary when they stop to switch their motion in the sky from North to South and vice versa.

² In addition to Linear-Time Reincarnation, there are a number of other Conceptualizations about Multi-Lifetime Dynamics. I often speak in the voice of Linear Reincarnation because it’s among the most common Conceptualizations on the topic among the Oft-Born, so I assume it will communicate most efficiently. The notion of Karma as Inertia (not Retribution) fits most directly with Linear Reincarnation. (There are three major Views about the Impermanence of Egoic Life, namely Once-Born, Twice-Born, and Oft-Born.)

I do assume (and have seen multiple evidence in my own Lifetime to fortify it) that Linear Time is a 3D Illusion, so I sometimes talk about Parallel Lifetimes – the notion that all Other Lifetimes are occurring simultaneously with this one. Inertial Karma is a little trickier in this framework.

Another Viewpoint assumes that we are all Lightworker Souls, and when we as Souls Choose to Incarnate, we Choose a few Issues we want to advance, and Program our to-be-Incarnated Self to carry this simulation of the Karma which will further develop those Issues. In this View, Karma operates as Inertia, the way it does in the Linear-Reincarnation Perspective, and to the extent that we succeed in Changing our own Karma, we advance the Karma of the Species. A feature of this View is that our Soul does not Own the Karma we’re working on, our Ego does.

I don’t assume that the Ego survives a Physical Death, but that our Karma does, including our Good Karma. So while we don’t carry our Material Gains from Lifetime to Lifetime, we do carry What We’ve Learned into Other Lifetimes, which can look as if we carried our Material Gains along.

Mindful that Either/Or Is Always Political while the Universe Operates through Both/And, I have no interest in defending or defrocking any of these Perspectives, including the Once-Born and Twice-Born. Even if my Personal Experience tells me I’m Oft-Born, that doesn’t mean that everyone has to be. The Universe is Ineffable – we don’t have nearly the Bandwidth necessary to Grok it. So our Intellectual and Emotional Viewpoints are always Conditional.

And one of the Bottom-Line Beliefs of this Blog is that the more Perspectives we can carry, the greater is our Resilience when Change occurs. Contradiction is a property of the Dualistic Mind, not a property of “Competing” Perspectives. Paradox is a more Resilient Concept than Contradiction, because it Allows us to Believe Contradicting Perspectives at the same time. As Reality Changes, and we Agree that Change is the one Constant in Reality, our Understanding can shift with it, perhaps from something like 60% Viewpoint A and 40% Viewpoint B, to 40% View A and 40% View B and 20% View C.

³ We aim more toward Interpretation than Prediction, because if we know how to Interpret what’s going on in the Past and Present, we don’t need to worry about Predicting the Future. So if you Learn something about yourself by comparing these notes to your Experience of last week, we’ve met our Goal. Even if we’re Dead Wrong about our Interpretation, if it Inspired an Insight into your Experience – you Trusted what you Feel more than what you Read, we’ve met our Goal.

⁴ The Twelfth Harmonic, in the astrological Context, is the Angle formed between two planets that are Separated by one twelfth of the Zodiac, that is, they’re approximately 30 Degrees (360 divided by 12) or one Sign apart. The word “Unx” means one twelfth of something, so we refer to this Angle as an Unx. Let’s look at the web of interactions between Oaths (Vows, Promises, Decisions) and Karma (Habits, Patterns) from a different angle.  In Tarot, the twelfth card in the Major Arcana is the Hanged Man.  This dude is Hanging neither from his neck nor fingernails, but Hanging from his heels…

The plan being that his or her Perspective will Change.  The Hanged Man card is referred to as the “Pattern-Breaker.”  There is no Tarot card for Pattern-Making or Punishment-for-Breaking-an-Oath.  While we might swear Oaths to ourself to try to Control our own Addictions, most of the Oaths that Orcus (Greek Horkos) Punished were Oaths of Allegiance to Others – Abdications of our Self-Sovereignty – around politics, war, economics, and servitude.  The Romans and Greeks were Hyperpatriarchal Cultures, and Vows of Marital Fidelity were not part of the Oath equation…

If you haven’t noticed the Persistence of this propensity in current Western Culture, you’re probably in Denial.  Orcus’s mother, by the way, was Eris, symbol of Revelation of What’s Been Denied.  You’ve probably noticed that Tolkien’s Orcs were spawned by Orcus’s visage as a Punishing – Devouring even – Monster…

The Socio-Sexual connotations reflect the Greek-Roman program of demeaning the Matriarchy – Betray your Oath as a Man [to Obey your Male superiors and Use or Ab-use Females] and you’ll be sucked back into the Toothed Womb, in the Patriarchy an Emasculating Fate worse than Death [loss of everyone’s Respect, the equivalent of Banishment]!

But, back to the astrology…

The astrological Twelfth Harmonic is the “Unx,” the Angle which Separates two planets that are one Sign apart.  In the current Ixion-Pholus-Quaoar Station chart (https://astrobuss.wordpress.com/2020/03/27/tumultuous-week-1/), eight of the twelve possible Unxes are present.  The implication is that we have a better-than-usual Opportunity to Let Go of Karmic Habits around each of these eight planetary Relationships.  We should be able to, for instance…

• Step into a New Personality wherein we have Dropped any Manifesting Habits that were not Self-Loving (Haumea Unx Sappho-Makemake).

• Step into a New Personality wherein we have Dropped any Health Practices that did not further our EnLightenment (Lachesis-Varuna Unx Klotho-North Node).

Remember that Karma is Dead.  When a situation arises where you’re Invited to Indulge a Self- or Health-Deprecating Habit, it will Feel perfectly Natural to Step right Into it.  Just like Developing a physical muscle, it’s Repetition that Reinforces Habituation.  Every time we go ahead and Step Into a Karmic Pattern, we Strengthen it.  Karma is actually a Choice, once we’re Conscious of it.  Each time we Choose to Step Into a Health-Promoting or Self-Loving alternative, we weaken the Karmic Habit and Strengthen our Physical and Moral (ie, Self-Love vs. Self-Abuse) Health.

Let’s take another example.  It’s fairly widely Believed that 5G at least exacerbates our Experience of the Coronavirus, if not contributes directly to it.  If we follow this line of thought, perhaps Nature is training, or as Darwin would put it “naturally selecting,” our Electromagnetically delicately-tuned Bodies for a Future with far greater Electromagnetic Radiation.  If you’ve ever stood in a Lightning Storm, you know that few Energies are more Electrifying than those symbolized by Uranus.  Uranus is in Taurus – Soul Descending into Flesh.  And what could be more Electric than Soul – Invisible, Energizing, Dangerous (to the Ego), “Bottled Lightning.”

In the current chart, Uranus is joined by asteroid Eurydike, which symbolizes Trust (Initiation Exact at 11:53 am 30 March in 6 Taurus, “A cantilever bridge across a deep gorge: Overcoming separatism through group cooperation,” with Ixion Stationary!), Initiating a four-year Cycle wherein Collaboration is emphasized.  Several friends, while Empathizing strongly with the Physical, Emotional, and Financial Suffering, have been Embarrassed to admit that they find current events to be Compelling and Exciting – they are indeed, without Realizing it, Trusting that Flesh will be Quickened or Electrified by Soul as we work through the seven years of Uranus in Taurus.

Another Energy in the current chart is the Revision of our Values (Venus) brought about by shifts in our Unconscious Beliefs and Limitations (asteroid Vesta) through Converting Fear to Power (dwarf planet Sedna).  We’re certainly being given plenty of Opportunities for the latter.  Remember your Kegels and Tapping – the sooner you Notice Fear in your Emotions or your Thinking, and Convert it to Power, the more you Weaken your Fear Karma and Strengthen your Power to Manifest the Future you Want to Live in.

These two Energies…

• Trusting that Flesh is being Quickened by Soul, and
• Revision of our Values through Converting Fear to Power

…are one Sign apart, an Unx Angle, promising that we can more Easily Let Go of any negative Karmic Patterns in how the two Energies Relate.  For example, a very common Ego-Value is to Contract, or Circle the Wagons, in the Presence of Fear.  Another common Ego-Value is to React with Fear to Strange Sensations in the Body.  In other words, we tend to Energetically Collapse around Strange Sensations.  “Something is Wrong!  We Gotta Fix it!” is the immediate Reaction, corresponding to an Energetic Contraction.  What if it was “Something is Different!  Isn’t that Curious!” instead – where of course we’d prefer Awe-Wonder-Fascination Curiosity over Gotta-Figure-it-Out Curiosity.

What if Strange Sensations in the Body Enlivened us the way Traveling in a foreign country can.  Strange-Sensation symptoms of dis-ease are productively considered to be the result of the Body Restoring Balance – a runny nose as mucus dispelling virus for example.  And of course unreasonable fatigue is just a Somatic request for more Rest.  Healing is greatly accelerated if we Open to those Sensations (increasing Blood flow to their location) rather than Closing around them (which restricts Blood flow, inhibiting the Immune System’s white blood cells).  That would greatly alter our Tolerance for the Vulnerabilities of Physicality, and tilt our Emotions toward Joy more often.

The Unx Pattern-Breaking Angle between Trusting the Present (Eurydike-Uranus) and Embracing Fear (Venus-Vesta-Sedna) opens the door to Life-Changing Transformations like this.  Maybe Opening Lovingly to Unfamiliar Physical Sensations is a prerequisite for Ascension to 5D.  But we need to Respond to the Opportunity.  The nature of Karma is Inertia – we move toward what’s familiar, toward our Training.  We need to Consciously make the Choice to move toward an Alternative instead.  That by itself will Enliven us, though it will be Uncomfortable at first, till we get our New Patterns Habitualized.  (What a “coincidence” – in the 7 April Full Moon chart, the Moon [Instincts] is Unx to asteroid Moira [Consciously Choosing Alternatives to Fate].)

The second Self-Resolving Challenge (Diamond Star) in the 19 February Full Moon is Focused on the Life Force (Varuna)…

The Stress that needs to be Resolved (the Opposition in the base of the T-Square or red triangle) is between Whether our Actions Serve our Soul’s Purpose (Mars-Uranus) in the Lifetime, and Whether our Boundaries are True to our Soul’s Purpose (Aletheia-Pallas, both of which are Stationary or Strong).  The Suggestion is that any Limitations in our Vitality will be clues about how our Actions and Boundaries aren’t Serving our Soul’s Purpose.

♥ The next Big Configuration in the Full Moon chart is Profound Blessings (a Grand Trine and Almost-Grand-Sextile)…

The Big Dumb-Luck Blessing (Grand Trine) is on the Cusp between Fire and Earth, mirroring the imminent (6 March) movement of Soul (Uranus) into Matter (Taurus).  The Players are an Ego Challenge as our Inner Female steps forward – for any gender (the Moon on the cusp of Virgo), the Genius-Trust-Survival Dance we’ve spoken of (Eurydike-Ixion-Pholus-Quaoar on the Sagittarius-Capricorn Cusp), and the Question about whether our Actions Serve our Soul’s Purpose (Mars in Taurus Conjunct Uranus in Aries).

The two elements in the Almost-Grand-Sextile are the Ancestors (Sun-Klotho-OR10 in early Pisces), and the Changes in our Boundaries (Pallas-Aletheia in late Libra), both of which we’ve discussed.  A Grand Sextile means that all of the elements in it are Operating Cooperatively with one another – sort of the way everything will be in 5D.  So if we can Activate the Almost-Grand-Sextile, we’ll find our Boundaries, the Ancestors, our Survival, our Genius, our Instincts (Moon), and our Actions all in Alignment.

So how do we Activate an Almost-Grand-Trine?  We look at the Energy embedded in the sixth corner, the one that would Complete the Grand Sextile, called the Vacancy, and we Project that Energy Consciously.  Intention is probably Sufficient.  The Vacancy is 2 Cancer, “A man on a magic carpet hovers over a large area of land: The ability to expand one’s consciousness by stabilizing one’s point of view at a higher level.”  Wow, just what the original Self-Resolving Challenge, that we described in the previous post, Creates!  When astrology Repeat itself, we know we’re on the right track.  Remarkable.

♥ The picture above also shows one other feature of the Full Moon – the Finger of God (grey-green wedge) pointing at Chiron (Despair and Miracles), so recently having moved into Aries (1pm PST 18 February).  Despair is one of the defining characteristics of Pisces, as Pisces’s job description is to Embrace All Excess Emotional Baggage, Karmic and otherwise.  So the last eight years, while Chiron has been in Pisces, have been Intense Emotionally for all of us.

By now we’ve hopefully all Learned how to Poor-Sweetheart ourself into Miracles.  By saying to ourself “You Poor Sweetheart, you’re Feeling Bummed, aren’t you,” and then Changing the Subject (Putting our Attention elsewhere), we can instantly Shift our Identity from Bummed to Compassion.  We may have to rinse and repeat, or use Tapping or other PIAVAs, if we Obsess and have difficulty Changing the Subject.  (Leave a comment if these concepts are new to you.)

With Chiron in Aries, we of course could Encounter Spiritual Crises instead of Emotional Crises, and considering the State of the Planet, that may well happen.  And actually, we’re already hearing about just that on the Fake News every evening, aren’t we.  But a Spiritual Crisis is basically an Ego Death, and we’re well practiced at Embracing those, Right?  And now that we’re Adept at Embracing Emotional Crises after studying them for eight years, we won’t have to deal with those complications, Eh?

The Roots of the Chiron Finger of God are our Instincts about Ego Death (the Moon on the Cusp of Virgo), and our True Boundaries (Stationary Pallas and Aletheia).

It also forms a Parasol over the Juno Diamond Star, adding extra Grace to our Consciousness Expansion.  The Challenges (Squares) are real…

• Genius-Trust-Survival (Ixion-Eurydike-Pholus-Quaoar) Challenging our Ability to Transform Despair into Miracles (Chiron).  Basically, this is about using the Tools we’ve Learned to Avoid being a Victim, for which there are many Opportunities.  We could be Victimized by Threats to our Survival.  All our Life we’ve been Victimized by the Programmers who drove our Forbidden Genius underground.  If we misinterpret Respond-Ability as Blame, we’re Victim there as well.  And Lack of Trust is a perennial source of Victimhood.

But – we know how to convert Despair to Miracles, Right?  Only our Ego can be Victim, not our Soul, and we’re in the process of moving our Ego closer and closer to Soul, Right?  So every trace of Victimhood is a Sign that we need to Surrender to an Ego Death and move into Respond-Ability.  We can do that as simply as saying to ourself, “You Poor Sweetheart, you’ve Feeling Vicimized here, aren’t you” and then Changing the Subject.

• Our False Boundaries (Stationary Pallas and Aletheia) Challenging our Life Force (Varuna).  This can easily feel like Victimhood again – if our Boundaries aren’t working, we can feel like someone else is Manipulating or Hurting us.  If we don’t Recognize the connection, we can Experience that as a Diminution of our Vitality.  Again, we can Watch for Diminished Vitality, and when we Notice it, Look For places where our Boundaries are too weak or too strong.

But the key to any Fez is the Tricolors (red-green-blue triangles) created by the grey-green diagonals.  A Tricolor is a combination of Challenge (red), Curiosity (grey-green), and Grace (blue lines).  The prescription is to unlock the Grace by remaining in Curiosity about the Challenge, rather than trying to Figure It Out.  We can’t Figure It Out without Limiting ourself to our current concept-set, so by Avoiding that and staying with Curiosity instead, we invite Growth in Consciousness instead.

This is not the kind of Curiosity that inspires Study and Research – that’s the Figure-It-Out kind.  This is more akin to Awe and Wonder, Accepting What Is at Face Value, and Marveling at it.  Like we did very often as a kid, before we were perverted by the Over-Intellectualization of Colonial Society.

By Knowing Cause we can sometimes Manipulate circumstances to our Advantage.  To the Colonial or Capitalist mind, Win-Lose is Success.  We could use Cause for Win-Win, but first we have to Evert our notion of Success.

By Believing we Know Cause, whether we do or not, and by Enjoying the fruits of Manipulating circumstances to our Advantage, we Seduce ourselves into Believing we’re Superior to those we’re Colonizing.  That somehow makes Colonialism okay – we Rationalize that we’re somehow Helping them while we’re robbing them blind.

The problem is that we never do actually Know Cause.  We may Know some Superficial Connections, but like Vale’s recent murderous dam failures in Brazil, Colonialism always ends up Defiling the Planet and the People for the Profit of the few, and the few usually live far away from the Carnage.

So to achieve non-Figuring-It-Out Curiosity-Awe-Wonder requires a Big Ego Death relative to our Lifelong training as children of Colonialists.  Like Racism and Sexism, it takes a big jolt just to Realize that we are Racist and Sexist and Colonialist, and that we don’t know how not to be.

Moving our Perspective from Appreciation – or literally Worship – of Figuring It Out (and of Wealth and Superiority) to Appreciation of Awe and Wonder (and Sustainability and Equality), takes a Searching and Fearless Inventory of everything in our Lives, but if we want to Trust our Unique Genius and Respond Fully to our Survival Instincts, it has to be done.

We can interpret the diagonals of the Fez and their Tricolors as PIAVAs.  Using just the Major Tricolors (those with the long blue lines or Trines), we have…

• “I Wonder if I can Poor-Sweetheart myself into Allowing Miracles to Adjust my Boundaries so that my Vitality is Improved” (Varuna Square Pallas-Aletheia Quincunx Chiron Trine Varuna – the “Quincunx” or five Signs is the grey-green Curiosity line)

PIAVA is short for Prayer-Intention-Asking-Visualizing-Affirming.  There are other, “silent” letters as well, such as Wondering, Commanding, and Expanding.  These are all Triggers for our Intuition that can Magnetize what we Want to Receive and draw it toward us – the Feminine process of Creating.  It’s an alternative to the Dynamic or Masculine process of Plan-Execute and its corollaries.  Whenever you’re dealing with What You Don’t Know, aka the Unconscious, the Magnetic process is the only one that works – and it works Wonders.

• “Ganeshi, Please Remove All Obstacles to my Avoiding Victimhood about my Genius and my Survival, while Supporting my Vitality.”

Then we Change the Subject.  By Surrendering Control over the Relationships between (1) Victimhood (Chiron) and (2) Genius-Survival (Ixion-Quaoar) and (3) Vitality (Varuna), and Delegating them to the Remover of Obstacles Ganesh, we’ve Invited our Intuition to Resolve any Conflicts that may arise between them.

♥ That leaves only what’s usually ignored in astrology – the four “Unxes” in the Full Moon chart.  Unx means one twelfth, and it names the Angle between two planets that are one Sign apart…

These are the short green lines.  This is the Twelfth Harmonic, which is about Pattern-Breaking.  So any Self-Sabotaging Habits you have between the Energies on each end of an Unx, this is a great time to replace these Habits with Self-Supporting Patterns.  The Unxes here are…

• Do you Sabotage your Vitality, by eating Sugar or other empty calories like White Bread, for instance, or failing to eat enough Green Vegetables or Drink enough Water?  You have Instincts that tell you not to do this – do you Ignore them or not even Recognize them?  Now would be a good time to PIAVA that you Attune yourself to them.  (Moon Unx Varuna)

• Many of us have Habitual Actions that don’t Serve our Soul.  It’s an excellent time to PIAVA that we become Conscious of them so we can Change them.  (Juno Unx Mars-Uranus)

• And most of us probably feel like Victims of these non-Soul-Serving Actions, as if someone else made us do them (and indeed, we may have been Programmed to do them by someone else).  “You Poor Sweetheart, you Feel Victimized by those Actions, don’t you.”  (Chiron Unx Mars-Uranus)

• I’m Worried that these Ancestors are coming to Kick Ass because we’re Screwing Up!  “You Poor Sweetheart, you Feel Scared by this Possibility, don’t you.”  (Chiron Unx Sun-Klotho-OR10)

Empath and Empathy VI

♥ We usually ignore Unxes, but a Powerful case can be made that they’re the most important Angles in the astrological lexicon.  Given the (Materially Appropriate) Tenacity of the Ego, Letting Go of Habit Patterns may be our greatest Challenge as Hupers.  One Perspective says that if we tried to Live without Habits it would be like being Stoned out of our gourd on LSD all the time.  I’ve met Folks who could probably pull that off, but damn few.  Another Perspective points out that if we Lived totally from our Intuition, Habits might be temporary conveniences.  I’ve probably met more people who are close to that, but also few.

When two planets Unx one another, Patterns can Fall Away on their own – at which point we may Panic and snatch them back from Oblivion rather than face the Void in their place.  Our Unx work lies in Allowing Habits to leave peacefully while we Express our Gratitude for their Efforts at making our Life Easier.  Even if they felt like a curse, their Intention was to make our Life flow more smoothly – it was our Conflicting Needs that made them feel like a curse, not the Habit itself.

It wouldn’t hurt to review Cycles here.  They begin at Initiation, when the Cycle’s Energy is Strong on the communal Airwaves.  Then the Cycle’s Energy tends to go Underground while Entities who have profited from the Old Cycle try their best to stretch their profits as far as they can in order to maximize the return on their investments.  Meanwhile the New Cycle’s Energy is gaining Strength.  The Waxing (Increasing) Square brings the Tension between Old and New to a peak, Challenging us to finally Let Go of the Old Energy and Embrace the New Energy.

Once it thus reaches the Cultural Mainstream, the New Energy grows, Receiving Grace at the Waxing Trine, Blooming at the Opposition, and Fruiting at the Phitile (223 Degrees), which is close to the Waning Trioctile.  If we’re Tuned In we’ll can or freeze our Bounty Gracefully at the Waning Trine.  The Waning Square Challenges us to wind down, Celebrate the Fruits of our Labors, batten the hatches, and prepare to Rest.  This Void time between the Waning Square and the Initiation is the most difficult for Hupers to tolerate if they’re stuck in the Dynamic Masculine Plan-Do modality.

This is PIAVA Time.  Unless our Intuition is very Strong, we have no way of knowing what the next Cycle will be.  Sure, we can look up the future Initiation’s Sabian Symbol, as we do, but we’re still left with a Gollum-like riddle to interpret it.  It’s certainly Time to Review the closing Cycle for what we Wanted, Received, Gifted, and Invested.  And definitely Time to Inventory our Wants and Needs for the Future.  The Energy of the New Cycle isn’t totally Determined yet, and our Focus on our own Intentions will join the Vibrations from all the other Entities to fill in the colours of the New Cycle.

Before every Initiation we have a Waning Unx (Relative Ease of Letting Go).  That follows a Waning Square (Challenge to Let Go) and a Waning Sextile (Blessings following from Letting Go).  We can profitably use this Pattern to Pay Attention to what in our Life seems to be faltering at the Waning Square, Test a partial or pilot Letting Go at the Waning Sextile to see if Blessings follow, and bring out our finest Tapping-PIAVAing Iterations at the Waning Unx, to make us the Emptiest possible vessel to Receive Abundance (Having Enough to Share) in the coming New Cycle.

♥ If we look at the Karma-Saturn/et al Waning Unx in this Light, what would we find?  The Karma-Saturn Cycle is about how The Most Important Thing is our Collection of Habit Patterns.  How have they Served us over the last four or five years (the length of a Karma-Saturn Cycle)?  How have they been a Disservice for us?  How have they Limited us (S-t-r-e-t-c-h!)?  What would we Replace if we had our druthers?  How might we Intend that?

The Karma-Pholus Cycle is about how much our Collection of Habit Patterns reinforce Repetitive Reactions to what Triggers us, and how much they facilitate Appropriate Response to Actual Events.  Use similar questions about Service and Limits.  The Karma-Quaoar Cycle is about how much our Habit Patterns Support or Hinder our Survival.

♥ Besides Karma-Saturn et al, the other Opportunities for Letting Go of Obsolete and Self-Sabotaging Patterns (Unxes) in today’s (10pm) Chiron-Station chart, include…

• Chiron-Moon Waning Unx to Uranus-Juno.  The Biggie here is the Chiron-Uranus Cycle, which is Waning.  Over your Lifetime (this Cycle is about 130 years old), what do you Believe the Relationship between your Soul and your Suffering has been like?  Many Religions focus on this Relationship and make Suffering into a sort of merit badge.  Have you been there?  Do you Believe that sort of Connection between Soul and Suffering can Survive into 5D, or would you rather see Soul teaming up with Miracle (the other side of Chiron) instead?

Moon Cycles only last a month, and there are an overwhelming number of them, so we usually ignore them.  But if you’re focusing on a specific Issue (such as Health) studying the Moon Cycles of a relevant planet (such as Varuna) will probably pay dividends, because the Moon is so important to so much of Life that the Patriarchy has Repressed, causing it to protrude in odd ways from odd places.  Notice that the Moon has Cycles to your natal planets as well as to planets in the Sky Now.  You could use, for instance, http://www.true-node.com/eph1/ to study the latter, entering “Moon,Varuna” in the first box.

The four-year Waxing Juno-Chiron Cycle is worth some examination.  At the Waxing Unx we get another Opportunity to Let Go of Old-Cycle Habit Patterns that are taking too much work to keep them Fruitful in the New Cycle.  Our Efforts should flow into our Rewards without too much Difficulty, and if they don’t it may be a sign that an Obsolete Habit is getting in the way.  The Juno-Chiron Cycle is about how Aware we are of our Victim Postures.  Short of Miracles (which we never want to Discount), we have to be Aware of them before we can Improve them.

• Chiron Waxing Unx to OR10.  Since OR10 represents Intrusive Memories, we can think of it as a Treasure Chest holding the blueprints for our Karmic Traumas.  Again, Awareness is Golden, as it is frequently a prerequisite for Healing.  We’re likely to have to Retrain ourselves to Respond to Intrusive Memories with Open Curiosity rather than with knee-jerk Repression.  The Hidden parts of your Self that are willing to share those Memories are very tender, and will rapidly Retreat more if they aren’t greeted Joyfully.  We can actually Deepen our Karma by telling our Informants to Talk to the Hand.

• Ceres Waxing Unx to Makemake-Eurydike.  The Ceres-Makemake Cycle is Waxing, while the Eurydike-Ceres Cycle is Waning.  Do we still Doubt our Abilities to Manifest or Heal?  Are we Tapping Out our Doubt?  Is it working?  You’ve done it before, you can do it again, but you need to deal with that nagging Doubt voice, or it will Sabotage your Efforts.  Some people say that it’s all Perfect As It Is, and that’s a very useful Perspective, because it facilitates our search for the Conflicting Goal that Stops us from Creating What We Want.
  

• Ceres Waning Unx to Varuna.  This five-year Cycle is about Sustaining our Union with the Life Force.  If you have any Health issues Lit Up, what do they have to Teach you?  Ask them.  Are you eating too much Sugar, or eating non-Organic Sugars or Grains, which unless it’s been banned where your food comes from, are almost always laced with gut- and immune-system-killing Glyphosate?  Do you get fresh Fruits and Vegetables from Farmers Markets as much as possible, where they were still Alive a few hours ago, or do you depend on Supermarkets where Produce can be weeks old.  Are you still eating Processed Foods (anything in the store that has more than one ingredient).  On this Planet it’s Living Plants and Fungi and Bacteria that carry the Life Force; everything else is Second Hand.

Including the Full Moon but not the Nodal Axis, dwarf planet Orcus (Oath-Making and -Breaking), Saturn-Hylonome, and Nessus comprise five of the six points that would Complete a Magnetic Grand Sextile.  The Vacancy that would Complete it is 10 Cancer, “A large Diamond in the first stages of the cutting process.”

Again, our Task is to Pay Attention to the World We Are Creating rather than the one that we want to leave.  As Jewel put it…

“Lend your voices only to sounds of Freedom
No longer lend your strength to that which you wish to be free from”…

Which includes Paying Attention to the fact that we’re still in the “first stages” of Shaping our Diamond.

Not that we aren’t Spectacular and Gorgeous just the way we are, but getting smug when we aren’t finished with our Mission just sets ourself up for unnecessary future Ego Deaths.

While we’re on the subject of Oath-Making and -Breaking (Orcus), we need to point out something that we seldom mention – the short green lines in any chart.  These are the “Unxes” – the seldom-used word Unx means one twelfth of something, and an Unx is a Twelfth-Harmonic Angle, or two planets that are one Sign apart. 

The Twelfth Harmonic is the “Hanging Man,” but he isn’t Hanging by his Fingernails or Neck, rather by his Heels – in order to get a new Perspective on the World and Break Old Patterns.  There are usually a number of Unxes in each chart, and each one Creates an Opportunity to Break Free of our Programming and of the places to which we No Longer want to Lend our Strength.

Let’s look at a few examples…

In addition to the Diamond-Star Trine Bridges, the Full Moon is also Bridged by a Quincunx to asteroid Sappho.  We’d usually focus on PIAVAs that would attempt to preserve the Curiosity inherent in the Quincunx (two planets five Signs apart), because that Natural Curiosity is a red flag indicating a Pattern that we have a current Opportunity to Explore more deeply.

For instance, Moon in Scorpio Quincunx Sappho in Aries.  Marko Pogačnik (Sacred Geography, p.104) suggests…

“To perceive Water Beings [Scorpio] one can use the language of traditional symbols attributed to them.  Standing in front of a water body, imagine that your buttocks are covered with fish scales and your legs are shaped like a movable fish tail.  Then quickly detach yourself from your imagination and open yourself instantly to perception.”

and (p.107)…

“To get a good perception of Fire Beings [Aries], one should concentrate on the warmth and pulsation of the blood within one’s veins – which represents the Fire Element within our body.  Open your perception from there.”

These would both be great PIAVAs.  We could start each of these exercises by briefly calling to mind a current Emotional (Water/Scorpio) or Spiritual (Fire/Aries) Difficulty or Question we have.   Then we could follow with a PIAVA about how they are Related. 

If you’ve ever had a gas stove and flicked water into the flame, you see the flame turn from blue to orange briefly, as the heat cleaves the highly flammable Hydrogen from the other Element in the Water, the Oxygen that Ignition requires.  Water and Fire are not so far apart as one would think.

Emotion can quench Spirit (Water extinguishing Fire), Held Emotions by cutting part of ourself off from the rest of ourself, and Intense Emotion just by demanding our Full Attention and blotting out Spiritual Perspective.  In the former case we’d like to Strive for Wholeness; in the latter we have to Surrender to the Overwhelm for a while in order for the Emotions not to become Held. 

But in appropriate proportions, Spiritual Fire can Break Up the Persistence of Emotions.  In the Wild, we often either processed Emotion quickly, or became someone else’s dinner.  No Blame there, we’re just returning the favor, as so many times Other Beings have become our dinner, and we’re just Giving Back.  Many tuned-in Cultures “bury” their Dead on platforms, so the Nutrients can be directly Recycled by the Critters that the Culture Co-Exists with and Cooperates with to maintain Sustenance.

This is a Waning Quincunx, so beginning to think about Recycling is appropriate.

But let’s look at the Unx half of the Quincunx Bridge – Sun Unx Sappho, Breaking Patterns around, or Gaining New Perspective on, how our Essence and our Self-Love Relate to one another.

A reader today writes…

“The work now becomes ‘growing’ those skills of boundaries, healthy anger, putting True Mission first, finding Right Community and all the rest.  Certainly work of a lifetime!  Plus continual Loving of the parts that still feel Betrayed, Abandoned and Shamed.  I kept wanting Justice, but now I’m just aiming to become aware of, and Love, those sad, angry, and hopeless parts, without changing them into something more ‘acceptable.’ “

Our Essence often Values Justice, but we always need to remind ourself that Nothing Changes Until We Accept It Fully Just As It Is.  It’s not like the Urge for Justice then goes away; it’s that without the Emotional Load (which is usually runoff from some distantly-related Held Emotion) we’re much more Able to Act Effectively to Change the World in (usually small but) Measurable ways.

“There is still some difficulty, in that you and many others talk about the thoughts we have as shaping our timelines.  And so I feel uncertain as to how I can welcome these… less pleasant?… manifestations while not having them rule any capability I have to set new directions.”

We don’t talk enough about Cancel-Neutralize-Upgrade, but it’s a very important tool for dealing with unwelcome Thoughts.  The Statement Asks the Universe to Cancel the “Negative” thought we just had, Neutralize the Vibration it has Projected into the Ethers, and Upgrade the Thinker (that be us).  With practice we can build the Habit of issuing this Directive quickly after thoughts that could potentially Create Realities we don’t Want. 

While we’re working to develop that Habit, we can follow the Invitation that the Unconscious has offered through the “Negative” thought – Gestalt immediately springs to mind.  We would not have had that Negative thought (says the Jungian) if it did not have a Positive purpose for our Enlightenment.  So there is a part of us that regards this as Negative, and a part of us for which this is evidently some form of Truth.

We could Tap Out the “Even though I sometimes think [this Negative thought] [Negative Thoughts (in general)], I deeply and completely Love and Accept Myself…”  That could help squelch the thought.  But the Gestalt process could help us Get To The Bottom Of It (which is what Scorpio is all about).  The Negative thought is an Expression of something we actually Want, we’re just in the Habit of Expressing it in Negative terms, probably because someone once told us that What We Want wasn’t Politically Correct.

Fritz (Perls) had us Imagine two chairs.  In one chair would sit the part of us that is in the Habit of reciting this Negative thought, and in the other chair was the part of us that is in the Habit of Judging this particular thought as Negative.  The first assignment is to Discover What the part of us in the Negative chair Wants that will make a Positive contribution to our Lives.

For instance, maybe the part of us in the Negative chair is in the Habit of thinking about Fear of Scarcity.  Well, an obvious possibility could be that what the part of us in the Negative chair really Wants, is Abundance, and it’s trying to urge us to work on Strategies for same.  Maybe.  This is always an “…or something like that” game as Eugene Gendlin would say.  Conclusions are Killers.  Possibilities are Life-Enhancers. 

Or maybe our Negative thought is an Intuition that some element is flawed in the Abundance Strategy that we already have.  Or maybe it’s an Intuition that since our Abundance Strategy is an attempt to Control an Uncertain Future, we should perhaps consider switching to PIAVAs about Future Abundance, where we specify What We Want (Katherine Ponder reminds us that Abundance means Having Enough to Share), Trust that the Universe will Provide that in its own way, and Tap Out the Anxiety underlying our Negativity.

Now of course in the other chair sits our Judgments.  Which is worse relative to the Evolution of our Consciousness – Judgment, or a poorly worded Desire for Abundance (if that’s what it was)?  Do we Judge Judgment?  This may be an Opportunity to Differentiate Blame (assignment of Past Causation) from Response-Ability (attempting to improve Future Outcomes).

You can see the Vast Field of Opportunity Opening up here!  Remember that Growth in Consciousness is not about Discovery; it’s about Differentiation.  The Complete Universe has always been here; there are just parts of it that we haven’t been in the Habit of Differentiating from background “Noise.”  That Bird was in the Bush all along; we just didn’t See it till it moved.  If it was could have been our Dinner and it just flew out of range, Growth in Consciousness – and Survival, might mean Upgrading our Attention and Sensitivity to Shapes and Colors.

For instance, in moment of writer’s block I often play a game of Solitaire on an ancient laptop.  It’s recently gone crazy with its colors, so I now have the Shape of the suits, but not the Colors.  It demands an additional layer of thought, where Habit no longer works, which is a real Pain in the Scales.  It’s Exhausting rather than Relaxing, as Learning often is.  The Universe is trying to tell me something, I have no idea what, but it obviously has to do with Recognizing Shapes.

Some of the Angles in this chart I’ve drawn in with light lines, in order to emphasize the many primary Configurations, but please don’t regard the light lines as less important.

For instance, there are six Fingers of God in the Full Moon chart, each one Asking us to Pay Attention To This!  We’ve already talked about Ceres-North Node, Venus, the Moon, and Saturn-Hylonome.  Hidden in the light lines are additional Fingers of God to Sappho and Orcus.  We’ve talked about both of those, but in the process we haven’t noted the Importance that the Fingers of God add to their Impact.  You might want to reread about them in that Light.

The Rose above the Sky

Let’s look a little more at that Grand Quintile.  Here’s one without all of the other Action in its chart…

It’s a Pentagram, traditional symbol of Magic.  It’s actually pointing down, which sometimes implies Black Magic.  But as we said in the previous post, the whole diagram will turn upside down in twelve hours, so there’s little meaningfully permanent about the pointing.  If there’s anything to the Black part, it’s bad luck or evil intent for the West Coast of the US, as the chart is even rotated for other locations at the same time.

The Full Moon occurs around 3pm PDT, which is the equivalent of 2pm PST.  Since Hawaii is two hours earlier than Pacific Time, the Sun will be close to directly overhead in Hawaii – and the Pentagram will be pointing straight up.

The classic symbol of five-symmetry is the Rose Family, which includes this Apple (a future Fuji), blooming as we speak…

The Rose and Pentagram have always been associated with Venus and the Heart, because the Zodiacal locations of the Heliacal Rising of Venus over eight years plot a perfect Hexagram.  The “Heliacal Rising” of a planet or Star occurs when it first becomes visible again after being hidden by being too close to the Sun.  The ancients measured the seasons of the year by keeping track of the Heliacal Rising of various Stars.

I read today that the process of Learning floods the brain with a particular protein, and that this protein confuses the brain’s reward center, disrupting Addictions.  The same can apply to Archetypes, since our Karmic or Childhood Programming Unconsciously expects a positive reward when we’re Obedience to an Archetype we’re Entranced to.  Liberation from an Archetype is by far the most important type of Learning, since it’s Life-Changing.  And Entrancing someone to a Archetype, such as Nationalism, would be a good case of Black Magic.

Let’s isolate the Grand Decile.  A Decile Angle is one tenth of the Zodiacal Loop, so a Grand Decile has ten planets equally spaced ’round the Circle…

If that reminds you of a Rose it’s no coincidence; with five-symmetry the double Rose has five petals in each layer.  Fortune, the Tenth Harmonic, is related to Learning mostly through Liberation from Archetypes, as Liberation allows us to respond Neutrally to circumstances and Witness Reality more clearly.  Left-brain Learning, which involves only the accumulation of Information and not Liberation, also clogs the brain’s reward center – Jung always said that people whose primary approach to Life is through Thinking, are irrational, because not being in touch with their Heart, they Act according to their thoughts rather than their Values.

There is a reason why astrology considers the Fifth Harmonic a “Minor” Angle, aside from the fact that you can’t instantly spot them because they share the same Degree of their respective Signs, as you can with “Major” Angles.  It’s much more difficult to gain Power Over someone who runs their Life from their Heart rather than their “Head.”  Thinking is usually associated with the Head because Left-Brain Mythology attributes thought to the brain.  In Energy Reality, thinking is assigned to the Third Chakra, the Solar Plexus, not the brain.

In order to Power-Over a “Head”-centered person, all we need to do is match their Archetypal Programming with our Propaganda or Rhetoric.  To Power-With a Heart-centered person, we need to demonstrate that we share their Values.  We may be able to direct our Propaganda to their Values, but a Heart-centered person is much more likely to be in touch with their Intuition and Instincts, which would allow them to know our Intentions.

The more we uses our Quintiles to Break Free of our Archetypes, the more directly we Witness Reality.  When we’re Entranced by an Archetype, that’s all we see – the rest of the Universe is projected onto the outer screen of the Archetype.  The more Archetypes entangle us, the less we see of what goes on behind the curtain.  It’s the greater detection of Reality which allows the Tenth Harmonic to represent Manifestation – which is more difficult when we can’t see the levers and pulleys and cobwebs and Energies that connect the elements of hardcopy Reality.

Crystals do not exhibit five-symmetry, but there are several Powerful Stones named after the Rose, such as this Rose Quartz, a Stone representing the Heart…

Another “Minor” Angle that we use is the Quincunx, which connects two planets that are five Signs apart, or five twelfths of the way ’round the Loop.  The Fifth Harmonic is Learning, and the Twelfth Harmonic Pattern-Breaking, and the Quincunx combines the two – into Curiosity.  This is the source of Power in the Yin Gate – which, with it’s four Quincunxes arranged in two adjacent Xs, introduces us to Paradox or Non-Dual thinking.

And while the Grand Quintile, if used properly, can lead us to Archetype-Busting, the “Grand Unx” (an “Unx” is one twelfth of something), with twelve planets equally spaced around the Zodiac, will almost certainly Bust up some Archetypes and other Addictions.  Here’s a look at the 16 May chart, when the Moon and the Nodes add the final two aligned Oppositions to the four in our Gods and Goddesses Full Moon chart (https://astrobuss.wordpress.com/2017/05/07/gods-and-goddesses-full-moon/) to complete a loose Grand Unx…

We’ve drawn in the Unxes and Quincunxes in light green.  From the Perspective of traditional astrology, there’s a problem with this chart.  The twelve positions vary from 22 to 30 Degrees; that’s eight Degrees of Sensitivity, a span that traditional Astrology would only allow for Major Angles in birth charts.  Even in birth charts, the maximum Sensitivity permitted for Minor Angles is three Degrees.

Well, recall that many times we’ve said that Permanent Curiosity (as in Awe and Wonder rather than “Gotta Figure It Out”) is akin to Love because both eschew Judgment.  If we can break our Addiction to Figuring It Out, the Quincunx actually leads us to this space of Non-Judgment, aka Neutrality, aka Enlightenment, aka Ascension.  Maybe we should call it “Unconditional” Curiosity, to parallel Unconditional Love.  In a Relationship, Love dies when Curiosity is replaced by Certainty and Judgment.

So in our Perspective, there’s nothing Minor about a Quincunx – it’s one of the more Major Angles on Reality.  We can say the same for the the Archetype-Busting Quintile and Unx, and for that matter the Septile.  The Septile (Seventh Harmonic) is about Timing – not wasting our Energy when the moment is not ripe, and Acting Decisively when it is – like France’s own new “JFK” apparently has.  We hope he fares better than JFK did.  Well, it turns out that Timing is critical in everything, including Curiosity and Unconditional Love.  It’s Timing that resolves the unsettling apparent Conflicts between Unconditional Love of Other and Unconditional Love of Self.

So we don’t argue that this chart may not be fully descriptive of the Present Moment come 16 May.  But if the Unx and Quincunx are Major Angles, as we aver, then we regard the chart as fully applicable to Projects begun under its watch, including the Rebirths that have been scheduled for us.

 

Curiosity and Desire

It’s hard to overemphasize how important it is to maintain our Curiosity about how our newfound Vulnerability (ie, Loss of our Masks) will impact our Mission (and Deepest Desires).  

As always, we don’t mean Curiosity as a means to an end – Questions seeking Answers.  We mean Curiosity as an end in itself – Wonder and Awe, eyes wide and mouth ajar.

Since our Deepest Desires are often a source of Vexation – we Want it but we can’t seem to Get it, or Keep it when we do – we might well find our mind grinding away on our Lifelong Frustrations.  If that’s the case, this grinding is exactly the Pattern that we need to Replace.  That’s why it’s Lit Up.

Which is the Key to the Temple, to Realize that when any Bummer is Lit Up, it’s Lit Up to inform us that we have Work to do on our Limiting Beliefs.  And the Work is easy – we just Embrace ourself.  “You poor Sweetheart, you’re really Bummed by this, aren’t you.”  The apparently difficult part is Discerning that Oh Yeah, we’re Feeling here, and we don’t like the Feeling!  We need to Learn to Love ALL of our Feelings, and this is The Opportunity to Practice just that!!  Hooray!!

Chances are we’ve built up Stories around why our Deepest Desires elude us – because of some quirk of our childhood perhaps, or maybe we’ve concluded that Huper Nature just works that way, or some Pattern that we believe Limits us but we’ve never been able to Change.  Mindstuff.  Let it all Go.  Come to Curiosity instead…

“I Wonder why my Deepest Desires always elude me.”

Just that simple.  Make it a Mantra, a Ritual.  Carve it into your mirrors, your refrigerator door, your smartphone, write it on the inside of your eyelids.  Don’t let it become rote.  Close your eyes when you say it to yourself (except when driving or operating machinery), and really Feel that Energy bubbling up from the Deeps.

While this particularly applies next week to our Deepest Desires, it’s an excellent strategy for dealing with any stuck Pattern we have.  What if we want to Eat less, or less often, or less Sugar, for instance.  Then whenever we have a moment of Awareness before or during our urge to Eat, we can pause a minute and…

I Wonder why I always want to Eat while I’m writing.

Followed by a pause.  This is a PIAVA – an invitation to Intuition – so we need to pause and Change the Subject.  We could go back to Eating 

(we Change the Subject to prevent the mind from constraining us to our existing Limiting Beliefs; Eating is quite different from Analyzing Eating),

for instance, or back to writing.  The Intuition will surprise us later.

We mentioned in passing that Jupiter’s Initiation of the North Node (Exact 3pm PDT 24 June at 17 Virgo – Volcanos) Biquintiles (Learning New Rituals) Uranus’s and Eris’s Initiation of Ceres (Exact 8pm 21 June and 5am 23 June, respectively, both at 24 Aries – Abundance), but it deserves more than a mention.  

These are Waxing Biquintiles.  

In the evolution of a Cycle, the Waxing 

• Trioctile (8th Harmonic/Rebalancing, and 3rd Harmonic/Compassion) precedes the 
• Biquintile (5th Harmonic/Learning, and 2nd Harmonic/Ritual), which in turn precedes the 
• Quincunx (12th Harmonic/Pattern-Breaking, and 5th Harmonic/Learning).

So once a new Energy

• Becomes Permanent (Square) and
• Blesses us for Acknowledging it (Trine – without Acknowledgement, the Trine denotes Arrogance),
• We Lovingly Adapt to it (Trioctile),
• Learn and Practice new Rituals that match the new Energy (Biquintile), and 
• Break any old Habits that would get in our way (Quincunx).  

By choosing Magnetism (PIAVA – Curiosity) instead of Dynamism (Plan-Do), we gain Free Attention to use on our Seva rather than our Process.

So it would behoove to see what our Jupiter-Uranus and Jupiter-Eris Cycles are about.  The current Jupiter-Uranus Cycle (Expanding into greater Connection to Soul) began in June 2010 at 1 Aries (Manifesting Form).  The current Jupiter-Eris Cycle (Amplifying Truth) was Initiated at the end of April 2011 in 22 Aries (“The gate to the garden of all fulfilled desires“).  Intense.

What a “Coincidence” that Desire arises.  Not to mention the hint that Truth leads to fulfillment of Desire.

For a while on 23 June (approximately 6am to 11am PDT), the Jupiter/North Node to Uranus/Eris/Ceres Biquintile is joined by Venus and the Moon to form four-fifths of a Grand Quintile (Learning Made Easy).  The Vacancy – the Energy we’d Supply Consciously in order to complete the Grand Quintile and remove the Stress – is the last degree of Scorpio (Mischievousness).  So it’s important to Play, perhaps just a bit impolitely.

At the same time, Chiron and Saturn join Venus in an intertwined Septangle – Venus Triseptiles Saturn which Biseptiles Chiron which in turn Biseptiles Venus.

The Biseptile is about Timing our Rituals for maximum Effect, and the Triseptile is about Timing our Compassion so it’s neither Taken for Granted nor Abused.

We could read this as, The Most Important Thing (Saturn) is to be Loving and Gentle with ourself (Venus) whenever we find ourself touching our Despair (Chiron).  Venus occupies the inflection point between the Septangle and the incipient Grand Sextile, telling us that the Key is Magnetic.
