Rebirth of Genius

We’ve talked many times about our Adventures in 24 Degrees of various Signs, and they’re Lit Up Big Time again today, in addition to our Resistance to The Life Force.  Today we can summarize our 24-Degree Adventures as Rebirth of Genius, as like it or not, our Abandoned Genius is being Called Out.  It should be obvious that our AG is Life-Enhancing, and our Resistance to it is Anti-Life.  But of course our Resistance was Programmed in, and there’s a good chance it’s still  reinforced by our Cultures – or we Believe it does.

The Pattern is basically Positive, but it has its Challenges, especially now.  We’ve been ranting about Yintegrity since 2012, when “the 1960s” began returning in earnest, and we redoubled our efforts earlier this year, when Eris Initiated Uranus.  Lots of folks still interpret Eris as Dischord, but they’re missing the point.  Sure, the Golden Apple she threw into the party was Disruptive, but it was Disruptive solely because the Alpha Goddesses were in Denial about their Vanity and Competition.

Then Ceres came along to join them, demanding that we make our Yintegrity Permanent.  And now Mnemosyne is Dancing with the same Arian location, inviting us (or forcing us) to recall all the Episodes that have caused us to Suppress our Yintegrity in the first place.  

Mnemosyne crosses Eris again 2 November at noon PDT in 23 Aries, a Degree symbolizing flagrant Fecundity.

Then Haumea Opposed Uranus-Eris et al, inviting (or forcing) Rebirth – Asking us to start our Life over with a clean slate as much as we could, with more Yintegrity hanging out.  Of course that means Ego Death, as we have to Give Up all of the Psychic an Social props that were Foundational for our Olde Identity.  That Rebirth is basically still going on, and today we were fitted for diapers.

The asteroid Klotho was Initiated by Haumea today at 11am PDT, in 24 Libra, which Degree symbolizes a Butterfly with a third left wing.  Butterflies are symbols of Regeneration and Transformation anyway, and the third Left wing is an emphasis on the Feminine.  Of the three Fates, Klotho was the one who “cut the cloth,” or wove the tapestry that our Lifetime would Embody.

So if you happened to raise your arms today and felt a new wrap slipping around your shoulders, your Third Eye is working like a charm.  It’s not a coincidence that it’s our shoulders – Should-ers – that hold up our clothes – our Identity.  Probably wouldn’t hurt to strip nekkid, then hold up your arms again while you Imagine your new Cloak descending.

That’s literally “the half” of it, half of the Grace – see, already Challenging, and we’re talking about the Blessed part.

The Blessing is a Golden Rectangle, with Uranus-Eris et al and Haumea et al forming one of the two Oppositions.  The other is Ixion et al Opposing Chaos et al.  

The et al for Chaos (Unlimited Potential) is asteroid Veritas (Truth), which crossed Chaos for the second time on 26 October.  The et al for Ixion (our Abandoned Genius itself) is Pholus (Being Fully Responsible To).

In other words, the “other half” of the Grace is the Unlimited Potential that our Abandoned Genius is willing to deliver to our doorstep, if we’re willing to “swear an Oath” to Support It instead of Supporting our Olde Ego that has Suppressed It for so long.  More Ego Death, eh?  What Fun!

Okay, that’s the Good News; now what about the Bad News?  That’d be the actual Challenges.

I don’t think we have a name for this Configuration yet.  It deserves one.  Two third planets make T-Squares to each Opposition.  In this case the T-Squares are both on the same side of the long side of the Golden Rectangle.

We’ve talked about the Chiron T-Square, where Chiron Squares each end of the Chaos-Veritas Opposition to Ixion-Pholus.  The result is Despair, and Miracles when one is able to find a new Perspective that dissolves the apparent Dilemma.

The second T-Square focuses on Mars, which Squares both ends of the Opposition from Haumea et al to Uranus-Eris et al.  This one is more local in Time…

• Mars Squares Haumea 31 October 2am PDT

We usually Experience Mars as being Energized, or Enervated if we’re in Resistance.

Remember all this is about Mastery through Challenge, not Challenge for the sake of hassle.

Do you have a Feeling yet for the nature of your Abandoned Genius?  If you could with a wave of your Magic Wand blow away All of your Limitations, what would be the Funnest thing you could think of to Do or Be?  What’s the first Obstacle that comes to mind when you think about Doing or Being that person?  Maybe it’s Fear of Being Judged, or something like that?

Following Eugene Gendlin, adding “…or something like that” is always a good idea, so you work with the Limitation rather than the wording.  When you named that vague Sense “Fear of Being Judged,” you had something in mind.  That’s what you want to work with.  You want to Change the Territory, not the Map.  You can redraw the Map later, once the Territory Changes.

“I Wonder what it would be like to Let Go of Fear of Being Judged.”

“Great Spirit, please Lovingly and Gently Liberate me from my Fear of Being Judged.”

“God/Goddess, Creator of All That Is, I Command that my Fear of Being Judged melt in the Warm Embrace of my Self-Love.  It Is Done, It Is Done, It Is Done.  Thank you God/Goddess!  Show me.”

You might want to save that last one for 11 November, when Haumea Initiates Sappho (at 2am PST).

Use quite a bit of rehearsal when you do an important PIAVA.  Once you say “I Wonder what it would be like to Let Go of Fear of Being Judged,” you may get an immediate Insight that’s more specific or more accurate.  You may Realize for instance that you don’t Fear Being Judged, you Hate Being Judged.  Or maybe it’s not Judged so much as Judged Unfairly that you dislike.  Or maybe it’s really Fear of Being Abandoned or Outcast, because you Believe that Being Judged could lead to that.

Once you finish rehearsal and get a PIAVA that you’re satisfied with, don’t forget to Change the Subject.  You’re soliciting Big Changes here, so you probably don’t want to process more than one of your Limitations at once.  Give each PIAVA a day or two to gestate, then Pay Attention to anything unusual that occurred since you PIAVAed.  Part of your “…or something like that” may have arisen – then you can modify your PIAVA and go from there.  

If you Feel Changes, then you can move on to your next Limitation.  While there’s a peak in this Energy here, the Energy isn’t going away anytime soon.  Today there’s about a Degree and a half Separating Eris, Haumea, Ixion, and Chaos.  A year from now their Separation will be a Degree and a half.

That is, they’re 30 and 60 Degrees apart, but if we ignore their Signs and just look at their Degrees within their Signs, there’s only a Degree and a half of Separation.

If when you Pay Attention you don’t see anything relevant, then pick anything unusual or Intense, regardless of relevance, and PIAVA…

Where to start?

(1) With the big Jupiter Septile Yod I guess.  It’s with us from around 1 October through 7 October.  Remember last week’s Magic Storm?  That was about one version of what we call “Magic” – the Miracle of Timing.  It’s one of the greatest Blessings that follow from developing your Intuition.  You can spend years (or Lifetimes) trying to do something without success, when the Timing isn’t right.  Then, when the Timing is right, you can accomplish it in a Heartbeat.  

Don Juan was always trying to teach Castaneda to “Save his Power,” and this is what he meant – don’t waste your Energy when the Timing isn’t right.  This is the Seventh Harmonic; planets one seventh of the way ’round the Zodiac from one another, or two or three sevenths.  How do we know when the Timing is right?  Our Intuition tells us, but we have to Listen to it and not let the noisy mind overrule it because it would be hard to defend in a debate.  The Moon, in its esoteric Meaning of Instinct and Authenticity, also plays a big role.

Look for places where you’re wasting Energy fretting about not doing something that your Shoulds are nagging about, when the Timing isn’t right, and places where you feel like you’re on a treadmill.  Watch for things that happen in a flash when you expected them to take forever.  We’re Learning here about the Held Emotions and Other People’s Expectations (such as Believing we have to explain ourself) that block us from Trusting our Intuition implicitly, instantly, and unquestioningly.

This next itemdddd deserves a long essay of its own, but I don’t have time right now, so I’ll be “brief”…  

(2) As we’ve discussed at length, we’re being Asked in no uncertain terms to take Responsibility to Embrace the Brilliance, Gorgeousness, Talent, and Fabulosity of the Truth of our Abandoned Genius.  Because the Programming that forced us to Abandon this part of ourself was Abusive, we have to work through a great deal of Pain to get to this Responsibility.  

(3) Until around 10 October, we’re Gifted with unusual Ease in this task.  You definitely want to take advantage of this.  How?  The easiest way is Self-Empathy – and being constantly Watchful for whatever you’re Feeling in the Present Moment…  

• Anger?  Any Self-Judgment there?  “You poor Sweetheart, you’re questioning your Right to Self-Protection, aren’t you.”  
• Worry?  Undifferentiated Unease?  “You poor Sweetheart, you’re Feeling Anxious, aren’t you.”  
• Not sure what’s going on?  Trying to figure it out mentally?  “You poor Sweetheart, you’re Feeling Confused, aren’t you.”  

Wait – Confusion’s the first sign of Growth, right?  Hooray, the Timing is Right to Celebrate!

(4) It gets better.  Surrendering to our Rebirth (which may of course Feel like Ego Death), and Surrendering to the Unknown (which is always Scary), will unleash tremendous Grace on not only the Challenge of Letting Go of our Limiting Programming, but also on any unfinished elements of our many-year task of Removing our Masks and becoming more Authentic to Who We Really Are.  That part is Given to us, all we need to do is stop Resisting it.  

We do have to add one Energy on our own, however, to make it all work Effortlessly.  That Energy is Bravery and Persistence.  If we’re Conscious of our Fear of Death and the Unknown, we can Tap Out the Overwhelm, Locate it in our Bodies, Warm it, Soften around it, Love it where it is, and Breathe into it.  Considering what’s Going On, this will be a Big Order, not because it’s so difficult to Tap or Warm or Breathe, but because what we Fear is so Big that we can’t see it.

We’re looking at our Relationships, our Economic Situation, our Health, our Well-Being, our Anxiety, our Emotions – everything facing and surrounding us.  But what’s Going On is Bigger than that.  A lot Bigger.  Imagine a cloud of Darkness surrounding your House, then your Neighborhood, then your Town, your County, your Region, your Country, your Continent, your Planet, your Solar System, your Galaxy.  That’s what we are Unconsciously Fearing here, and for most of us, it’s not Conscious.  Once we’re Conscious of it, we can Tap Out the Overwhelm, Locate it in our Bod, Love it, Breathe into it.

That part’s “easy,” once we get Conscious of our Fear of Transformation, and find the Courage and Persistence to find the Light Switch that’s hidden within All That Darkness somewhere, and pull it.  It’s Intimidating, but the Light that’s Behind the Sun is far more immense.  Bruce Cockburn said it well half a century ago…

It’s a longer version than Bruce’s, but worthwhile, as she ties it in to many ancient and recent traditions, which, remarkably, we can and will match to what’s Going On in the sky now.

Expansion, recall, is one of the many obscure variations of PIAVA.  Find the Light Behind the Sun by Grounding yourself, then move your Consciousness up and out through the center of the top of your Head till you Connect to the Light.

(5-11) We’ll translate these into English soon.

(1) The Septile Yod points at Jupiter (Expansion) from a base of the Waxing Septile from Ceres (Sustainability) to the Conjunction between Neptune (Culture, Material Confusion and Spiritual Clarity) and the South Node (Held Emotion and Hidden Skills).

(2) We’re in the midst of a long-lived Chiron (Despair and Miracle) T-Square (Mastery through Challenge) on a base of the Opposition between Pholus-Ixion (Responsibility-Genius) and dwarf planet Chaos (Unlimited Potential), the latter joined by asteroid Veritas (Truth).  

(3) Asteroid Karma (Inertia) has come into a Sextile to Haumea (Rebirth), with Chiron at the Far Midpoint.  That creates a Chiron Diamond Star (Difficult Challenge Made Easier) across the Chiron T-Square, as both Haumea and Karma form Trine Bridges across the T-Square, in the form of a “bowl of Grace” under it.

(4) Asteroid Karma and Ixion-Pholus join with Uranus-Eris (Removing our Masks, Yintegrity) to form a Grand Trine, a Haumea Kite, and a Chaos-Veritas Kite, leaving one Vacancy to Create a Grand Sextile.  The Vacancy is 23 Capricorn, which is about Bravery in Combat.  Capricorn 23 is also the location of the January 2020 Pluto-Saturn Initiation.

All these Goings On (#2-5), as has often been the case recently, are in 22-25 of their respective Signs. The mid-October (and all month) Nemesis-Juno Conjunction ( https://astrobuss.wordpress.com/2016/09/30/nemesis/ ) is in the same range, at 24 Scorpio, as is the Nova in the Constellation Lupus.

(5) By around 10 October, Karma breaks out of the Diamond Star and Grand Trine, but asteroid Hopi (Respect for all Things) moves into Opposition to Chiron, completing the Grand Cross till around 20 October.  The Grand Cross will still be Trine-Bridged by a Golden Rectangle and Quincunx-Bridged by Haumea and Uranus-Eris.  

The trace of our previous Bravery Vacancy will still make a Grand Trine with Haumea and Chaos, and Kites pointing to Uranus-Eris and Ixion-Pholus.

(6) We have two Initiations today (5 October).  Normally we’d cast Initiations as the centerpiece of our Interpretations – their relegation to footnotes shows how Big (#1-4) are.

First, Quaoar (Survival) Initiates Moira (Fate), which sounds pretty heavy.  The Degree is 28 Sagittarius, an old bridge still in use, and of course the Galactic Center, which is a pretty old bridge all right.

(7) Second, Lilith (Yindependence) Initiates Venus (Values) – the Blue Kachina that Lisa mentions, a significant milestone on our path toward the Yang Feminine Energy that we expect to replace the Patriarchy.  It occurs at 16 Scorpio, which symbolizes a girl breaking into a smile.  Mid-Scorpio is one of the four “Horsepersons of the Apocalyse” or Power Points of the Zodiac.

(8) The Red Kachina that Lisa mentions is found in the Initiations of Mars (Energy, Action) by Hylonome (Grieving the Disattachment from an Archetype) and Chariklo (Charm and Grace)…

First, Hylonome-Mars 29 September in 2 Capricorn, three Gothic Rose windows, one damaged by war.

(9) Second, Chariklo-Mars 3 October in 4 Capricorn, outfitting a large canoe.

(10) On 8 October, Nessus (Abuse and Privilege) and OR10 (Irruptions from the Deep Unconscious) Conjoin.  This is a long-term, slow-moving astroevent, and can be blamed for much of our Pain, as we become Aware of and Let Go of old Abuse.  See https://astrobuss.wordpress.com/2016/10/02/trigger-warnings/ .

(11) At our mid-month Yin-Gate Nemesis-Juno Conjunction (see https://astrobuss.wordpress.com/2016/09/30/nemesis/ ), Mars will be Initiated by Pluto (Transformation, aka Trance-reFormation), which is Opposing Sirius, which Lisa mentions in regard to the Hopi Prophesies.

Saturn III

I Forgot to mention the Spiders.  Last several weeks I’ve had several very clear Visions of Spiders, some as big as a Kitten, walking busily across the floor.  

It started with a Vision of a medium-size Spider perched on my thigh, under the covers, while I was in bed.  Not imagining that a Spider of that size would actually be in my bed, I got lost thinking about that big Tarantula on James Bond’s chest in one of those movies, and what I might do if I were in that situation, then fell asleep.  In the morning I had three good-size, very itchy bites where  the Imaginary Spider had perched.

Then a good friend found literally hundreds of thousands of Spiders in their cabin, so many that they had to call an exterminator.  So many that afterwards it took them two full days to clean out gallons of sticky Spiderpoo.

So naturally I turn to the definitive work on Grandmother Spider, Ursula Le Guin’s Buffalo Gals, Won’t You Come Out Tonight.  A particularly juicy extract…

“Coyote sat down and began patting her hands on the dirt in a soft four-four rhythm and singing under her breath, one of the endless tuneless songs that kept time from running too fast, that wove the roots of trees and bushes and ferns and grass in the web that held the stream in the streambed and the rock in the rock’s place and the earth together.” (p.48 in Buffalo Gals and Other Animal Presences)

” ‘Go on, little one, Granddaughter,’ Spider said.  ‘Don’t be afraid.  You can live well there.  I’ll be there too, you know, in your dreams, in your ideas, in dark corners in the basement.  Don’t kill me, or I’ll make it rain.’  

” ‘I’ll come around,’ Chickadee said, ‘Make gardens for me.’ ”  (p.51)

To see all these “Imaginary” Spiders busy in their tasks, tells me in no uncertain terms that the fabric of the Planet is being rewoven.  Hints about how it’s being rewoven?

(3) Some of our Values are Truth in our Heart.  Those won’t Change.  But others (faux Values really) are the result of Vows that we swore in this Lifetime or another, or that we adopted from our Ancestors.  These latter Values are Changing, which will require some Adjustment in our Lives.

(3) Orcus Initiating Venus August 10 at 8 Virgo, Learning new old Skills as if naive.

As we try new things, old Memories will come flooding back, Changing everything.

And yet another…

(7) four Octiles (Rebalancings): Saturn Waxing Octile Haumea, Venus-Orcus Octile Haumea, Neptune Octile Uranus-Eris, and Veritas Waxing Octile Uranus-Eris.

Some of these are “ancient.”  Neptune Waning Octile to Eris Initiated in 1848 at 2 Pisces (Self-Protection), and has another twenty or so years to run.  The Neptune-Eris Cycle would be about being able to Speak your Truth in public and be Listened to.  The next Cycle begins in 2037 at 29 Aries, “The Music of the Spheres.”

So the hard Mask-Removing work of the last four years hasn’t been wasted; we’re just laying the groundwork for a huge Social Transformation that will begin to evolve in twenty years or so.  At least according to this Cycle – though it’s a very important Cycle.  This Changes the Spin on a couple of trends.  

It tells us why youngsters are more fearless – from the Perspective of us oldsters, careless – on Social Media.  Yes, there is backlash, as there is around the beginnings of any Change.  Being a Victim of backlash is optional; we just need to carefully weigh our Deep Feelings (so we aren’t Unconsciously Creating exactly what we don’t Want), and tailor our PIAVAs.

And it casts a Light on The Donald.  While the World would go somewhere conceptually familiar in a handbasket if he were CEO of the USofA (actually, be might mercifully accelerate the process), he makes a fantastic role model for unabashedly Speaking your Truth.

Another “ancient” trend is Orcus Waning Octile to Haumea.  These two, which both have orbits similar to Pluto’s in duration, travel at speeds that are only about 15% different.  So they can chase each other around the Zodiac almost indefinitely.  This Waning Octile is in effect from around 1990 till about 2040.

The Orcus-Haumea Cycle would be about Cleaning Up our Act – the need to Let Go of obsolete Oaths (which limit our Experience to Either/Or) before we can Manifest Rebirth.  Or alternatively, taking Birth for a specific Purpose.  We don’t know the Initiation or duration of the current cycle; the orbits aren’t defined enough yet to extrapolate that far – assuming their orbits are stable.

We can see two sides of this Coin – with Saturn in Sagittarius (the Way Out is Letting Go) and Pluto in Capricorn (Just Fix It), it’s a fifty-year exercise in Letting Go and Moving On.  And it speaks to the Importance of moving toward our Mission (if we Chose a Purpose-Directed Lifetime).  What Coin would that Be?  Maybe Intention?

The next longest Cycle would be Uranus-Neptune, Initiated in 1993, the last stone in the Harmonic Convergence.  That one we remember well – appropriately. in my then-neighborhood, it welcomed a huge storm that blew down 100-foot Walnut trees.  Uranus-Neptune is about the Relationship between the Individual and the Culture, so this one should be interesting.

The Uranus-Neptune Cycle runs about 170 years.  This one began at 20 Capricorn, “A hidden choir singing during a religious service: Fulfillment of the individual’s creative function through participation in a group consecrated to a transcendent realization of unity.”  The Octile is Waxing.  

“Fulfillment of the individual’s creative function through participation in a group consecrated to a transcendent realization of unity” – that’s good news.  A typical Cycle blows Strong at Initiation (as this Energy did in the early 1990s), then wafts conspiratorily underground till the Waxing Square, when it becomes Mainstream.  The Waxing Octile, halfway to the Square, is the place where the Energy first surfaces again, tentatively, testing the air.

The Octile in general is about Adjustment, Rebalancing.  You can see this one in our thirst for Community.

Next, in terms of Hypnotic Power or Cyclic Duration, is the Waxing Octile of Saturn to Haumea.  The Cycle began in September 2011 at 18 Libra, which in contrast to the Uranus-Neptune Cycle, is about a breakdown in Individual-Culture Relationships.  Pretty easy to find signs of this Energy, even though it’s still mostly underground.

In Western Culture a breakdown is a medicable problem.  In Eastern Culture it’s a normal part of the process of Rebuilding.  This Cycle, which in and of itself is about how Rebirth is Defined, spans about 35 years.  So yes, from the Perspective of Western Culture, this is a long, ongoing Ego Death.  Fun!  Much more constructive to see it through Eastern eyes, as a Liberation from Cultural constraints that no longer serve.

The other three Cycles are shorter-term, starting with Veritas-Uranus and Veritas-Eris.  These Cycles span a little more than four years.  Veritas-Uranus began in March 2016 at 20 Aries, “A young girl feeding birds in winter.”  The Eris-Veritas Initiation followed in April at 23 Aries, “A pregnant woman in light summer dress.”  Both of these Octiles are Waxing, and both are about being True to Ourself.

So in the shorter term, we’re Nurturing our Spirit and refusing to hide our preparations to Rebirth a new kind of Culture, where what’s Valued is Integrity, even Yintegrity, rather than Conformity and Greed.

Finally, on the one-year scale, Venus is Waning Octile to Haumea.  The Cycle begsn in December 2015 at 24 Libra, which is basically about Yintegrity and PIAVA.  

By now we’ve integrated Yintegrity and PIAVA into our Values and our Skillset, and it’s time to Let Go of what we’ve Learned, in order to Open Space for the next stage of our Growth.  We want these Skills to be Living processes, not rote scripts.  “I Wonder what will come next.”

 

Cancel, Neutralize, Upgrade

We aren’t through yet with the Solstice-Full-Moon action, so I’ve been trying to put off writing about next week.  Then it finally dawned on me – after several images of Trauma intruded – that we’re in the middle of next week’s Energy already.  

(1)  That Energy’s name is Fear.  

It’s part of the work we’ve been doing getting Honest with ourself, and it’s a foundation for our Rebirth.

If what you Experience turns out to be Anger instead, drill down beneath it.  Anger is a perfectly valid Response to Fear, as Anger is just a Self-Protection.  But underneath your Anger is Fear.  Find it.

(2)  Fear is literally a Siren Song for us; we can’t not Pay Attention to it.  In this case there is a very strong Call to Action involved, and the appropriate Action is to look at what it is about ourself that we’re afraid to admit.  Afraid to admit to others, yes, but especially what we’re afraid to admit to ourself.

This is not about Self-Criticism.  We aren’t talking about those nagging voices telling you what’s wrong with you.  We need to dig beneath those.  We can start by Asking “Whose voice is that, anyway?” – that’ll remind us that the Self-Criticism isn’t really Self at all.  Ask “What is it that would really Excite me?”  Excitement is Fear plus Breathing.  The question of the month is “Why haven’t I been doing those Exciting things all along?”

You can make a list of those “reasons,” and then convert each of the Yes-Buts to Yes-Ands.  Yes-But I would make a fool of myself.  Yes-And, How would that Feel in my Body?  Yes-And, I’ll have to Learn to Love that Feeling too, won’t I.  Yes-And, I can do that, can’t I; I’ve done worse things.  Yes-And, if I had the Choice, which would I Choose?  To have Excitement in my Life, or to never Feel Embarrassed?  Yes-And, it might be Exciting to be, Um, Bareassed occasionally, eh?

This is all about Embracing our own Truth and recognizing how much doing that unlocks Unlimited Potential.

If Traumatic Memories or Visions arise in the next several weeks, go out of your way to Embrace yourself – “You poor Sweetheart, you must have Felt horrible when that happened.  Remember that Trauma can be Acute (sudden and Shocking) or Chronic (slow, easily dismissed as no Biggie, but repeated).

(3)  There is much Grace available to us here; we only need to remember to find Gratitude and Embrace it, even – especially – in the midst of Pain and Despair.

(4)  Be mindful that what you Experience in the next few weeks may not be Personal.  Don’t waste any Energy on “That couldn’t have happened.”  It doesn’t matter.  What matters is that you accept what you’re Feeling as if the Memories were Truly yours, and Embrace your Emotions in their wake.  The Planet is moving through big Transitions, and you may just be Chosen to help Heal that dark Energy.  We’re All One, what happens to Any of us happens to All of us.  The important thing is the Healing.

The Memories could be those of another Lifetime, of a neighbor, of a character in a movie or newsfeed, or of a Soul Sibling you hardly if at all know in the current Incarnation.  The Memories could be a Story that your Psyche made up to symbolize other, more subtle or profound Fears.  What’s Important is to Embrace the Feelings that arise, and the more repulsive the Feelings, the more Important it is to Embrace them.  Whether or not the Memories are True and Truly yours, in this moment the Feelings are True and Truly yours.

There are no failures here; Embracing ten percent of them is far better than Resisting a hundred percent of them.  And you can Trust that whatever you don’t get Embraced this time around, you’ll get to revisit later.  Good reason to make a little extra Effort now.  But Safety First; take it one step at a time so you don’t bite off more than you can chew, or try to do in public what will be a lot more comfortable in private.  Without Safety, we can easily tread backwards.

(5)  Like your Mission, the exact nature of your Abandoned Genius may be hidden from you.  Even if you spend a good part of your day daydreaming about it, the Story may be a Metaphor – and probably is.  You hear stories about folks stumbling into what seems to be their Right Livelihood or True Calling, and it may be more Important to Make Yourself Available for your Genius to find you, than to Seek it out Actively.

But it doesn’t matter.  You can PIAVA to “Lovingly and Gently take meaningful steps toward your Abandoned Genius” without having to know what you’re approaching, or what’s approaching you.  It’s likely to be related to those Feelings you’ve been Resisting all your Life, the ones you’re now Embracing with all your Heart because you know the Survival of yourself, your Loved Ones, and the Planet depends upon it.

The Astrology

(1)  The dwarf planet Sedna (Actions Taken out of Fear) Initiates the asteroids Veritas (Latin for Truth) on 27 June, and Aletheia (Greek for Truth) on 8 July, both at 26 Taurus (“A Spanish gallant serenades his lover“).

The reason we put such emphasis on the Initiations, is that they signify important Changes in the Energy, in the Milieu, in the temperature of our bathwater.

Asteroid cycles are usually about four years, so for the next four years our Disowned Fear will be serenading us.  It would be an excellent time to start crooning back to it, so we can convert it to Excitement.

(2)  Sedna-Veritas-Aletheia is the Power Source in one of those Crossbow-Slingshot-Boomerang Yod-Yod Kite Configurations.

The Yod or Finger of God is a third planet at the Far Midpoint between two planets that are Sextile to one another.  The focus is the third planet.  Now add a fourth planet at the Near Midpoint of the first two (Opposite the third planet), and you have one of these Slingshots.  The focus remains the third planet, while the fourth planet becomes the projectile aimed at the bulls-eye, powered by the tension between the first two planets.

Here the third planet (focus or target) is a Stationary Mars (Action).  Mars goes Direct at 24 Scorpio on 29 June.  That’s the tail end of the Leo Duad of Scorpio, so it’s about diving deep (Scorpio) into our Ego Identity (Leo).

The first two planets, in the Sextile-bowstring, are the Uranus-Eris-Ceres-Mnemosyne Stellium (Making our Truth Permanent), and Mercury-Chaos (Glimpsing our Unlimited Potential).  Mnemosyne adds the possibility that we can Recover Memories of the landmark events which caused us to Mask ourself in this Lifetime.

• Mnemosyne Opposes Haumes on 25 June
• Eris Initiates Mnemosyne on 2 July at 24 Aries (Abundance)
• Uranus Initiates Mnemosyne on 5 July in 25 Aries (Awareness of New Dimensions)
• Mnemosyne Opposes Nemesis on 12 July

(3)  Sedna-Verititas-Aletheia is also the head of a Kite, mounted on a Grand Trine between Mars, Chiron (Despair and Miracles), and Varuna (the Life Force).

(4)  Chiron, meanwhile, is also at the head of a T-Square across the Opposition between Mercury-Chaos and the Ixion-Pholus-Lachesis-Quaoar Stellium (Taking Full Responsibility for Embracing our Abandoned Genius is not only Timely, but also Essential for Survival – ours and the Planet’s).

The Uranus-Eris-Ceres-Mnemosyne Stellium Trine-Bridges the T-Square.

(5)  Which leads us to a second Slingshot, this one aimed at the Ixion-Pholus-Lachesis-Quaoar Stellium, powered by Mercury-Chaos, with the Sextile between Varuna and Sedna-Verititas-Aletheia as the bowstring.

All these Configurations take place between 22 and 29 Degrees, and will trigger your natal planets in those Degrees.  That’s a wide Orb for Transits, but the planets themselves stretch the Sensitivity.  For instance,

• Chaos is a little over two Degrees from Opposing Ixion
• Ixion is a little over one Degree from Opposition to Mercury
• Mercury is one Degree from Opposing Pholus
• Pholus is only a few arcminutes past Lachesis
• Lachesis is one Degrees short of the Galactic Center
• Quaoar is one and a half Degrees past the Galactic Center

Altogether spanning 22-29 Degrees of Gemini-Sagittarius.  These folks are all Retrograde, so there are no Initiations or Can-Openers among them at this time.

And while the Orb may be wide for Transits, it’s not wide at all for a birth chart, and there’s no question that this is our Rebirth, the Birth of our True Self.  

Which means that all this will apply for the Life of our Reborn Self, and will apply to any Projects we begin now, including the Project of Unconditionally Loving ALL of our Emotions, and of Embracing our Abandoned Genius.

Truthspeaking

Most of this is Water under the Bridge, but it’s recent enough that it may help you make sense of what’s been going on lately in your Young Life, and it’s very relevant to the Main Effect during the first half of 2016 – which is the removal, willingly or otherwise, of our last few Masks.  Removing Our Masks and Speaking Our Truth are pretty much just different ways of saying the same thing.  

It’s actually very possible to Speak Our Truth without being Offensive.  Many of us though are more in the habit of being Nice than Honest, so getting to that place will probably take some practice.  As we practice Speaking Our Truth, there’s one thing we need to remember.  

We can finesse our Speech to be less Offensive, but we have no control over whether or not its recipient is Offended.  

Even in Cross-Cultural situations where we’ve studied the protocols of the other Culture, people are still individuals and may not follow the protocols of their own culture.  Even if we’re careful to master the technology of Non-Offensive Speech, such as…

we still can’t control what others hear.

We’ve worked through many of our Masks, as Uranus (True or Soul Self) Squared Pluto (Inevitability) from 2012 till 2016.  And we spent much of March, with its Eclipses, doing preparatory work for June’s peeling of the next layer, as Eris (Revelation of Denial) Initiates Uranus.

Which occurs on 9 June at 24 Aries, “Blown inward by the wind, the curtains of an open window take the shape of a cornucopia.”  We could worry that it’s not a real Cornucopia, just a curtain, an Illusion.  But that would be a waste of Imagination.  It we Feel Abundance, we can Be Abundance.  If we find ourselves focusing on Doubt, we can Embrace it Lovingly, and melt it into Oblivion.

Closely related to Removing our Masks, Speaking our Truth, and while we’re at it owning our Abandoned Genius, is the task of Letting Go of our Limiting Beliefs.  While there are many ways to do that, one way is to Lovingly and Gently re-Experience the Traumatic Memories that the Limiting Beliefs encode.  Tapping can greatly accelerate the process of shifting the Memories from Trauma to an Honest recollection of what happened, stripped of the Overwhelming Emotion that forced it into the Unconscious.  It may retain enough Emotional weight to have a strong impact on our Values, but it will no long be Overwhelming, and it will no longer be an Archetype controlling our Behavior from the Unconscious.

Consequently, it will not be surprising if between March and June Memories arise which provide us opportunities to Choose between Letting Go or Re-Leasing – as in signing up for an additional Lease term.  All of which suggests that we might find three new asteroids useful – Mnemosyne (Memory), Aletheia (Truth, in Greek), and Veritas (Truth, in Latin).  If there was an asteroid named for Lethe, the River of Forgetfulness or Oblivion (personified by a daughter of Eris!), that’d also be useful, as Oblivion is typical of Unconscious Overwhelm, Preconscious lack of Discernment, and garden-variety Denial – but I haven’t found one.  A drink from the River Lethe was an integral part of moving from one Lifetime to the next, a metaphor for the sort of Ego Death and Rebirth that’s involved with Letting Go of significant Limiting Beliefs.  Aletheia is A-Lethe-ia, or Non-Forgetfulness.

So, have these asteroids have been lit up lately, or will they be lit up when Eris Initiates Uranus?

Meanwhile dwarf planet Sedna (Actions Taken out of Fear) Dances with asteroid Karma – since Actions taken out of Fear are good candidates to accompany Trauma and Create Karma, it also belongs here.  Karma is Inertia – Habits, unproductive or misplaced Archetypes – and our Limiting Beliefs are just that, Self-Sabotaging Habits.

The valuable exercise here is to look for correlations between your Inner (Emotions) and Outer (Circumstances) Experiences during these times.  Did they demonstrate or betray any Limiting Beliefs?  Any places where your Conception of Reality wasn’t big enough to encompass What You Want?  Were you left puzzling about anything?  Did you have Epiphanies?
