Nevertheless it will still be a Sterling idea to Remember to Ask, “Lord God Ganesh, Please Remove All Obstacles to” Whatever You’re Working On, even if you don’t Remember till after you encounter an Obstacle…

So what sort of Challenge might we Expect? While we think of Mars as Action, it never hurts to be on the Lookout for Anger when Mars is Lit Up, and as Repressed as our Unlimited Potential (Chaos) has been, we undoubtedly have a decent-size Reservoir of I-Coulda-Been-A-Contenda! Anger inside us. If we don’t have such a Personal Stash, no big deal, just reach into the Unconscious for a helping of the Universal Dissatisfaction with Programmed and Karmic Limitations.

Anger is an excellent Motivator for Acting to Set Boundaries against Abuse and other Limitations. You want Anger to be a Motivator, not a Modus Operandi. While there may be times when Picking a Fight serves your Needs, it’s not usually the most Effective Strategy, unless you’re the Aspiring Beta Dog in a Wolf Pack and you Believe you can Win. As a Doorway into Repressed Unconscious Contents, though, Anger can be an Excellent Tool. When was the last time you were inspired to call someone an Idiot and Wish them Unwell?

If you forget about that Idiot and trace your Irritation back to More Significant Origins, you may tap into Ancient Karma that’s Ready to be Let Go Of. War Criminal Pootin’, for instance, Believes he’s Avenging his Ancestors in Ukraine, but the original Kievan Rus was founded by Swedes and Lithuanians and Cossacks, among the many races that had crisscrossed the Breadbasket of Eurasia over the centuries. As they say, Justice is spelled “JustUs.”

When we regard any and all Obstacles as Teachings, it’s easy to see that Repression of our Unlimited Potential has served to Ground us in our Animal Nature, as part of Hybridization between Animal and Spirit. We’re too Hupercentric to accord the same Hybridization to other Critters besides our own twisted species. The Mutual of Omaha Wild Kingdom TV series Programmed my generation to Believe that Nature is “Red in Tooth and Claw” in order to sell us Life Insurance.

The Obstacles Ganeshi has been Strategically leaving in place hereabouts are excellent Reminders that For Manifestation to Work, We Need to Start with Gratitude and Hold High Vibrations, not Start with Expectation and Indulge Disappointment. When we aren’t ready to Receive, the Universe always Answers our Requests Initially with Illustrations of What Else We Need to Let Go Of. It may not be enough to Want It So Bad We Can Taste It, we may also need to Raise Our Vibes to a Higher Level.

Of course we can’t Manipulate the Unconscious Directly, we have to PIAVA or Petition it. The Cycle lasts 18 months, till 11 September 2024. Ganesa OOB (Remover of Obstacles on Steroids) Initiates Mars OOB 6-7 April (PDT 6:37 am 6th, BST 2:37 pm 6th, IST 8:07 pm 6th, AEST 12:37 am 7th) in 7 Cancer (Returning to Source), adjacent to the Fixed Star Mirzam (An Embodied Mysterious Message). The Cycle lasts 3 years, till 19 May 2026 (UT 17:47). The Waxing Square, when the Cycle goes Mainstream, occurs 1 February 2024, from 22 Capricorn (Surrendering Personal and Ancestral History).

Zircon, one of the most Ancient of Crystals, is a good Stone to Contemplate to Gently Touch Deep Anger, and to Ground one from Overwhelm. Zircon is a simple Zirconium Nesosilicate, the “Nesos” being Crystals with their Silicate units occurring in isolation, not in pairs or sheets or rings, making the Mineral very Dense because the Silicates can be packed more closely. For the same reason, Zircon is more Long-Lived than most Minerals because its Hardness, and lack of Cleavage Planes in the Crystal Structure, makes it almost indestructible. It’s often Radioactive from Thorium or Uranium contaminants, and always contains some Hafnium substituting for the Zirconium. Rogue Neutrons pass right through Zirconium, but stop cold at Hafnium. So Zirconium is used for the Fuel Rods in Nucular Reactors, and Hafnium for the Control Rods. Both are mined from Zircon Sand. The transparent blue Ziron Gems are created by heating natural Zircon.

If you lean toward the Passive-Aggressive, or prefer that as your method of Venting Excess Anger, you probably want to Contemplate Amblygonite instead. It’s a Phosphate of Aluminum and Lithium or Sodium. It’s an excellent counterpoint to Intense Mental Activity, and Calms Nervousness of any kind.

You Poor Sweetheart, You Don’t Feel Like Celebrating, Do You.

No Biscuits. Why should we Celebrate when Our Emotions (Pisces) Become Top Priority (Saturn)?¹ Especially when it’s our Bummer Emotions that seem to be Surfacing, and we don’t even know why – other than our Tired Old Excuses that don’t actually work any more to Allow us to Blame Something or Someone Else. Time to Rank our Values, to see Exactly What Is The Most Important Thing (Saturn). Is it Feeling Good – wouldn’t that be Wonderful?

Or is it Letting Go of all those Bummer Emotions once and for all? That’s what Pisces Does for a Living after all. And isn’t that what our Lust for 5D is all about anyway? It’s kind of a Test to Verify whether we’re Really Committed to Enlightenment.² We’re Lucky that “the Stars” have Conspired to make it fairly Easy for us to reframe these Bummer Emotions as Entertainment, on several fronts.

First, the Major Challenge in the 7 March 2023 Full Moon is all about Being Present to our own personal soul in the midst of life, and it’s Self-Resolving (the Challenge will Resolve itself if we, as Paul would say, Let It Be).³ Second, the Full Moon is Intimately Related to a Particularly Powerful Configuration that makes Breaking Patterns as easy as Cracking Eggs, that Allows us to Shift Big Patterns by simply making Adjustments.⁴

And the Full Moon itself is Merged with the Principle of Pattern-Breaking (Orcus), including Tough Hombres (Thereus).

It’s not just Saturn in Pisces that’s making Life seem like a Bother. In a few days, we begin a brand new Cycle about Expanding Despair and Miracles (Jupiter-Chiron),⁵ and of course we’re starting with the Despair. That’s where the Poor-Sweethearts come in. The easiest way to Shift Discouragement or Despair is to Poor-Sweetheart it. Of course we’ll have to Change the Subject Rigorously and perhaps Iteratively, maybe even resorting to “You Poor Sweetheart, you’re having Trouble Changing the Subject, aren’t you.“

As if all this isn’t Enough Already, this Expanding Despair and Miracles Initiation is a Triple Initiation with Our Unconscious Limitations (Vesta-Jupiter-Chiron), all on the same day in the same Degree. This is just a total Repeat of everything we’ve just been talking about – feel what we don’t know we’re feeling, Let Go of all those Bummer Emotions once and for all, Break Life-Long Addictions, and Embrace our Held Emotions. Where I Live, the months go …April, May, Junuary, July, August… because May and July are usually quite warm, while June somehow often resembles January. Of course Mom planned this out to make sure the Strawberries get just the right combination of Morning Drizzle and Afternoon Sunshine so they Fatten up Aromatic, Firm but Tender and Super Sweet without that tacky Sugary texture that grinds your Teeth.

Well, at least that was true before the Chemists crossed them with Golfballs to improve their Shelf-life. Chemists, not generally being Highly Sensitive People, didn’t notice that they now Lacked Aroma, Tenderness, and Sweetness. But they did have the Shelf-life of a Golfball! Kinda like the famous Flavr Savr “Tomato” that was crossed with a Baseball and supposedly “Loved by Housewives” (whom they never actually asked), and survived as a Commercial Success for about a week and a half.

Traditionally, March begins our season of horizonal Big Tide-Spotless Bright White Puffball Clouds (Towering Cumulus) on a gorgeous Blue-Sky Background. This year the Sun is hesitating to leave Mexico, so at night it’s still in the 20s F, with Skin Chill factors of 10 below Reasonable. So Locals will recognize the “-uary” pun, while everyone else, Coincidentally, will probably think “Mortuary,” though most of the Victims of 2023 so far haven’t had nearly so formal a sendoff.

March 1, 2023 March 1, 2023, Damocles (Fear of Accountability) moves into Pisces (Letting Go of Emotional Baggage) until 22 August 2023. Till now, since December 1994, we’ve been concerned with our Accountability to Political and Social Rules, like our local zoning laws and our Relationships, especially with Neighbors (Damocles in Aquarius). These concerns have been Impacting us Emotionally, Triggering our Karma, since April 2021, during which time Damocles has been Dancing back and forth between Aquarius (Rules) and Pisces (Emotions). This Dance will continue till December 2025, when Damocles will enter Pisces “for good” (till its next Zodiacal Loop). With Damocles in Pisces, we will Suffer Mightily if we Fail to Accept Accountability for our Emotions. That means we stop Blaming them on other people, and Realize that, as Iyanla Vanzant tells us, An Emotion is Described by only One Word – everything else is a Thought About Our Emotions! If it takes us longer than two minutes to Let Go of an Emotion, it’s not Present-Moment, it’s Karma. Changing that Nasty Self-Sabotaging Habit must be our First Priority if we have any Hope of finding 5D, OR any Inner Peace. The 40-year orbit of Damocles stretches from 1.6 AU (Earth-Sun distances), just inside the Orbit of Mars, to 23 AU, just beyond Uranus. It spends about two thirds of its Orbit in Aquarius, which explains a lot about how Huper Politics has been so screwed up over the span of HisStory, and continue to be. ¹ The Impact of astroEvents – Stations (which Strengthen the Influence of a planet), Angles between planets (which Merge their Energies in various ways), and Initiations (which Begin a New Cycle in the Merger of the Energies of two planets) – kicks in ahead of the time when they’re Exact (the times listed above) – usually a couple days for asteroids, and a week or so for other planets, sometimes more. This will vary a lot depending on what else is going on – the Bigger Events (Slower planets) can crowd out other Events, though if you look closely you’ll probably find the Influence of each. It also depends on whether the Eventful planet(s) are prominent in your natal chart, or the Event occurs within a few Degrees of one of your natal planets.

The primary advantage of Knowing about astroEvents, is that it enables us to Discriminate between astrological Energies and other Energies.

People also vary in how Sensitive they are to Energy in general. A friend once told me, “I’m always aware that This Too Shall Pass, but as an astrologer, you Know When it will Pass!” Knowing that an Energy is Temporary can Prevent us from making Decisions to Protect ourself from it. If we can’t Stand an Energy and don’t know that it’s “just” an astroEvent, we can make Decisions that become Karma if we Neglect to Let Them Go afterward. For instance, we might Blame our Resistance to the Energy of the Event on some Action we took earlier, and Declare “I’ll Never Do That Again!” Bingo! Instant Karma. We’ve just added another Limit to our catalog of Unconscious Limitations.

If we Know an astroEvent is happening, or happened, and we can Identify the Energy, we can Use it Purposively, or Just Let It Go. In that case, the Energy Fades Quickly after it’s Exact. If we don’t know it’s happening and we Act to Protect our Resistance to It, it can continue in our Life indefinitely, Creating most of the Difficulties we Experience with Life. Unwinding our Karma, to find our True Self and Allow Ascension, is just the process of Identifying and Letting Go Of our Unconscious Limitations. Our Programming is probably the best Clue to Identifying our Unconscious Limitations, as we would never have Allowed the Programming if it weren’t Karmic for us.

This Crystal was used by the twelve Apophylls to Practice their Intuition, which is why it’s called Apophyllite. You can see the Crystal on the left whispering bright Multidimensional Truth into the second Crystal’s Ear, and the Dubious look on the second Crystal’s Face as he rejects the Intuition because it would Betray his Programming. Truth always Shines.

Apophyllite is actually a Mica (note the …phyll… in the name), a “Phyllosilicate,” meaning that the Silicate units arrange themselves in Sheets, with tight bonds across the Sheet, and loose bonds between them, causing Micas to cleave into their signature flat Sheets or Chips. Most Crystals form in Clusters, but a Cluster of Mica Crystals is called a Book, because when the Sheets are stacked, that’s what they look like. As molten Stone cools and solidifies, the Minerals in the Soup Solidify at different rates. The most autophilic Crystallize first, often leaving Cavities between them filled with less autophilic Minerals. The rest of the Soup Solidifies on its own timetable, either filling the Cavity with a “Massive” form of the Mineral, or not filling it and leaving the characteristic Crystal shapes we Recognize.

Apophyllite has stronger bonding between Sheets than more Mica-Morphic Phyllosilicates, allowing it to form three-dimensional Crystals, which may break between Sheets. The Cations (positive ions of the Crystal Unit) are Potassium and Calcium. The Silicate Anion (negative ion of the Crystal Unit) is usually suffixed with Fluoride, but sometimes with Hydroxide (OH). Apophyllite also contains Water embedded into its Crystal Structure. Most Apophyllite is White or Clear or Milky. The green hue in this one is probably produced by a few Copper cations thrown in.

Let’s finish that chart of the Saturn-Venus Initiation.

I think of the Slower Planet, here Saturn, as Giving Guidance to the Faster Planet, here Venus, and the Faster Planet Implementing the Slower Planet’s Aims. Of course that assumes some sort of Consciousness in both parties, for the Slower Planet to have Aims, and the Faster Planet to Implement them in its own Realm.

What? Planets have Consciousness? Of course they do, how else would astrology work? Oh, your “Left Brain” objects. I guess you’ve never Talked to Mother Gaia, or Listened to Her. Well, no worries, it’s just a Metaphor. Does that Discount Mother Gaia as an Imposter? Not at all. Our Minds are 2-Dimensional, while Reality is many-dimensional. So all Thoughts, including Scienterrific “Laws,” are just Thoughts, and all Thoughts are just Snapshots, Kodachrome. Not even Videos.

When you turn a Snapshot over, do you see the Other Side of the Mountain? No, you see the back of the photo paper. You can use your Thoughts to Imagine Videos, even Change the Plot, but Reality is more like a Hologram than a Movie, and it’s Living, not a Recording. The Subjects in the Hologram are Living, All of Them, with Free Will. They can follow your Expectations or Not. Now factor in, from the Traditional Wisdom, “All There Is Is Now.” Anybody on your Hologram can do Anything anytime, and a “Recording” is just a Sample, one out of All Possibilities! Our Thoughts are Beginning to Look pretty Puny.

Where were we? Oh yeah, 3D. Saturn moves 12 Degrees in a year, during which time Venus loops the entire Zodiac. So Saturn becomes the Ponderous Planner, while Venus Rushes about like Hammy,¹ putting the Plans into Operation.

Saturn’s imputed Aims in the 25th Degree of Aquarius, at the end of its Scorpio Duad² and beginning of its Sagittarius Duad, might be to Coach People to Lighten Up on their Intensity and Learn to De-Stress Themselves and Others. This would be the specific methodology for Saturn to Delegate to Venus its (Saturn’s) Aim of Honing our Inner Witness in order to Become more Aware of our Expiring Relationship Karma, Take Ownership of it, and Heal it (Lonsdale). De-Stressing would be an essential first step toward Honing our Inner Witness.

Venus’s Shtich is Values. So as Venus moves around the Zodiac, in its Role as Saturn’s Herald (it has many such Roles, as many as it has Cycles), will be Asking us to Question our Values. The first Question would be, “Which, if any, Value (Venus) are your Prioritizing (Saturn)?” When we Operate from Karma, we’re just a Robot following a Program, which probably doesn’t have anything to do with our Values. So that first question might Shock us into the Present Moment. That’s a start for Honing our Inner Witness.

As Venus moves through Pisces (27 January through 20 February), its second Question might be, “What Are You Feeling?” If Self-Awareness wasn’t a High Priority at that time, again we could be Shocked into the Present Moment, and a Follow-Up Question might be, “No, I don’t mean the Story you’re Thinking about, I mean What Are You Feeling?” Feelings are usually single-word descriptions of our Emotional State, like Angry or Sad or Euphoric. The next Follow-Up might be, “Does that Feeling have anything to do with your Relationship Patterns, especially the ones you’re Tired of, where you’re Reacting to a Memory instead of Responding to the Now?”

As Venus moves through Aries (20 February till 16 March), the next Question Venus might Ask us could be “Well, what would you Feel if it was a Perfect Relationship? Can you Imagine what that Movie would Look Like? What’s Most Important to you in a Relationship?” And So On, Und So Weiter.

But what about the Snapshot of the Initiation? As astrologers, we know that in Linear Time a Snapshot of the Heavens at a Birth is a Powerful Tool for Grokking the Subject that was Born, be it a Person or a Cycle or anything else. We’ve already talked about the Stellium, or group of planets surrounding and Merged With Venus-Saturn, the Honing our Inner Witness (Aquarius 25) in order to Become more Aware of our Expiring Relationship Karma (Atropos in Aquarius), Take Ownership of it (Damocles), and Heal it (Panacea)…

The Expiring Relationship Karma Stellium Argues with (Opposes) asteroid Artesian (an Aid to Manifestation), and Challenges (is T-Squared by – the red triangle) Trust (Eurydike). It’s Self-Resolving (a Diamond Star, the T-Square and overlain green-wedge Finger of the Goddess), so for the next year we’ll be ahead to say to ourself when it arises, “Oh, there’s Distrust again. Thanks for Contributing, but we’re doing something else just now,” like we do when Thinking butts into our Meditation. If we can Ignore Distrust it will Resolve itself.

Just consider Distrust to be an Emotion in it’s own right, and therefore Notice when you’re trying to attribute it to something or someone, or attach other external qualifiers to it, and Realize that this is Thinking about Distrust, and Not Feeling Distrust. If you can’t Identify the Emotion without Thinking it, Experience it through Sensation – Where do you Feel it in your Body? Is it Cold? Tight? Contracted? If you have trouble with this, work with Julie Henderson’s powerful little book The Lover Within.

They aren’t drawn in, but the Trines and Sextiles between the ends of the base of the red T-Square and the ends of the base of the green Finger, create the Bowl of Grace which makes the combination Self-Resolving. The green lines are Quincunxes, joining planets five Signs apart and symbolizing Curiosity. Each Quincunx is a Mystery School, a Portal that leads beyond 2D into the Intuitive, where Intellect can only Mislead. So the Relationships between Trust and Denial (Eris), and between Trust and The Truth of our Intuition (Heart’s Truth Aletheia Merged with Intuition Asbolus) must be Accepted as is, not Analyzed.

Aletheia and Asbolus, both Out of Bounds (Intensified), have been Dancing together since September, and they’ll continue into early May. Their September Initiation was at 30 Gemini, Home of Betelgeuse, Achievement and The Hollowness of Being Outer-Directed, so they’ll Teach us to Look Inward for our Intuition by Realizing how Empty Achievement is. When you’ve Learned to Sit With Distrust as a Sensation, and Quieted the Mind, and Waited silently long enough for your Intuition to begin to Trust that you won’t Dismiss it Out of Hand again, and you Ask Respectfully, your Intuition will Sing to you.

Aletheia-Asbolus is also one side of the base of a second T-Square, this one without Self-Resolution, so it’s up to us to sweat this one out. Its Focus is Vesta-Neptune, almost a cliché, as Vesta symbolizes Unconscious Limitations, and Neptune Confusion. Neptune is always about Trance, and our normal situation is that we’re Entranced by our Unconscious Limitations so that we Believe they’re characteristics of Reality rather than Barriers in our Mind. Confusion is of course the First Stage of Growth, but to take Advantage we have to be willing to Sit With Confusion as a Feeling, without trying to Analyze or Intellectualize or Attribute it to anything.

We should by now be getting familiar with that speech about Feelings versus Thoughts, understand what it means and what we have to do with it. If you’re already a Pro with Emotion, Ignore me, I’m just Preaching to Myself, the part of me that’s Entranced by the “Left Brain.” The Cosmic Joke is that Confusion about our Unconscious Limitations is caused by the Argument (Opposition) between this tenuous Trust in the Truth of our Intuition and guess who – Pinocchio, the famous Unconscious Serial Prevaricator! The Bronx is dealing with a Pinocchio grifting their seat in the US House of Reprehensibles as we speak, and they’re totally Confused about it. As we discussed in the recent A Gift from the Heavens 2 post, it’ll probably be May before they figure it out, if then.

The Saturn-Venus Initiation chart also features a single Naked Square (one not connected to other Squares), between Eris and Hylonome-Pandora Out of Bounds, suggesting that we’re Hoping (Pandora) that we can squeak by without having to Deal with the Codependence (Hylonome) that we’ve been Denying (Eris). Alas, Hope is not a Winning Strategy, so we probably will have to do that in order to stay in Coherence with ourself. Ditch the Guilt though (Guilt is another one of those attribution- and object-free Emotions that we have to deal with through Sensation, as these Feelings are never Present-Moment) – Denial is a Healthy Protection for the Ego when it’s not quite ready to process something else because its plate is already too full. You’ll know when its Moment Arises, so don’t worry about it.

One of my favorite Intuition Crystals is Apophyllite, so named because it was also a favorite of the twelve Apophylls. I even carry a small matrix of Apophyllite Crystals on my dashboard, where it watches the Road ahead, since Intuition Sees Around Corners and through Haze. Apophyllite is a Phyllosilicate, a Mica, even if it doesn’t look like a Mica. The flat diamond shapes at the from of the Crystal below, are where smaller Crystals broke off between their “sheets.” Micas are strongly melded within their Phyllo-dough-like sheets, but poorly attached between their layers. A group of Mica sheets is even called a “Book!” Notice the Fish swimming off to the left…

² This is pretty Esoteric, but also Basic, and will help you Understand the Relationships between Signs, avoid Memorization, and Overemphasis on a few Samples as “Types.”

A Duad means a twosome (like a Triad is three), but in astrology it refers to a 2½ Degree section of the Zodiac. Each Sign has 12 Duads, the first being eponymous, and the rest proceeding in order – an example would best explain that. Saturn is in Aquarius. The twelve Duads of Aquarius are like so…

Through all twelve of these Duads, Saturn’s Aim would be Aquarian. We could define that lots of ways, for now let’s just say that Aquarius Aims to Improve Social Order. The secondary sign might be described as a Method that Aquarius might use. So the Aquarius Duad of Aquarius might be Improving Social Order by Talking about it (Aquarius is Fixed Air – Idealism, so the Aquarian Method might be Discussing Our Ideals with Others, or Arguing about how Our Ideals Are So Much Better than Others – the “Fixed” part). We say “might be” instead of “is” because there are many good ways to characterize each Sign. The Pisces Duad might be Improving Social Order by Empathizing with Others, the Aries Duad by Creating new Intuitive Models for Society…

Signs are also divided into Decanates, 10-Degree sections, where the first Decanate is eponymous, like the Aquarius Decanate of Aquarius (0-10°), and the other two Decanates are named for the other two Air Signs, in order, so 10-20° is the Gemini Decanate, and 20-30° is the Libra Decanate. The Decanates, like the Duads, Express the Underlying Sign in ways that are reminiscent of the Secondary Sign.

A Gift from the Heavens

Our ever-watchful Chief Asteroid Officer has noticed that 45 minutes before the 22-23 January 2023 Station (Prominence) of Uranus (Our Soul), Venus (Our Values) and Saturn (The Most Important Thing) Convene and Initiate a New Cycle. The Venus-Saturn Cycle should Obviously be ranked among our Most Critical Cycles. At the times when our Values are NOT The Most Important Thing to Us, we Betray Ourself. While such Self-Sabotage is a result of our Programming, our Programming is a Mirror for our Karma, since Programming is how much of our Karma was installed into the Current Lifetime.

If you’re reading this, one of your Most Important Values is Enlightenment, aka Ascension or 5D. A primary prerequisite for Enlightenment is to Clear our Karma. That’s more Difficult while our Karma remains Unconscious, so Noticing our Karmic Patterns becomes Bottom Line. We get this Opportunity every time our Karma is Triggered, which includes every time we React from our Programming rather than Responding from our Values. Enlightenment means that our Ego and our Soul are Merging, and that can’t happen as long as Karma has a Leghold Trap on our Ego, which is exactly what Karma does for a Living.

This is a particularly Important Window for those of us who were Programmed to favor Thinking over Feeling, because as Jung said, People who Prioritize Thinking are Irrational, because they’re not in Touch with their own Emotions and therefore not in Touch with their own Values, since Values arise from the Heart, not the Mind. Many of us are much more Aware of Our Thoughts About Our Feelings than we are of Our Feelings themselves. Too many of us haven’t yet Learned to tell the difference.

Many of us first need to Learn to Find our Emotions, buried under the Thoughtstorm that they evoke. It can help to Focus on the Sensations that arise with Emotion. When we’re trying to Think Through a particularly difficult Conundrum, we can Ask ourself, What Is my Body Telling me through its Sensations? rather than What is my Mind Telling me through its Thoughts? Emotions (Water) and Sensations (Earth) share the same Style (Magnetic), as we explained in the previous post, so they tend to Collaborate.

Emotions and Thoughts (Air) have Opposite Styles, so they tend to Conflict. So Emotions and Thoughts are in Competition with one another before we even Feel or Think. And thanks to Western Medicine, with its ban on Intuition and its Intense Advertising Campaigns, we also have to Struggle with and get beyond our Thoughts about our Sensations (“O My Goddess, is that Cancer?”). We have to Focus on Where our Sensation Resides in the Body and What It Feels Like there, while Rejecting Thoughts the same way we do when they Intrude on our Meditations – “Oh, there’s Thinking Again. Thanks for Contributing, but we’re Doing Something Else now. Where was I?“

Venus-Saturn Value-Priority Cycles last about a year. The Cycle that’s Ending spanned 10 months, but the New Cycle will last 14 months, till the Aries Equinox of 2024, because Venus slows down and turns Retrograde in the Northern Summer and Southern Winter. Angles between Retrograde planets are called Expositions because they Expose the internal workings of a planetary Relationship. Consequently, they’re more educational. In this Retrograde part of the Cycle¹ we may be more Alone than we usually prefer, because we’ll be Learning to Appreciate our own Unique Strengths, some of which we’ve theretofore never Appreciated or even Noticed.² Knowing Ourself – our Natural Strengths and the situations where we’re better off Delegating to Others or to Spirit – is an Essential Foundation for Enlightenment.

The New Cycle Begins in 25 Aquarius (Honing the Inner Witness in order to Rebirth Intelligence). Without Realizing the Connection to Lonsdale’s interpretation for the Degree, in note ¹ below we’ve already written a lot about the Inner Witness! An Initiation is the Birth or a New Cycle, so it’s chart is a Birth Chart. So we shouldn’t be surprised when a Retrograde Period in the Cycle reiterates the Birth Reading for the Cycle. But the Cycle and the Degree are Independent of one another, so the “Coincidence” is still Remarkable.

We’ll look at the chart tomorrow. “Chrysanthemum Stone” is a good Rock to Contemplate for bringing forth the Inner Witness. The mineral composition can vary quite a bit. The Stone is so unusual that it’s known more by its Morphology and Mythology (of Immortal Love between Stones and Flowers) than for its chemistry. The fact that it appears in only a few places in the World, and appears with a mix of Chemistries when it does, speaks loudly that it’s Meaning lies in its Mythology. It’s also a Metaphor for the Bright and Focused Soul breaking through the Dark and Amorphous Matrix of the Ego and Karma.

¹ Venus is actually Retrograde from 24 July to 4 September 2023 and 29 to 13 Leo, but the Shadow Period spans 19 June through 7 October. A Retrogradation is like a Remedial Course – we have to take it three times to pass, and sometimes we don’t. That’s the case when we don’t Learn from an astroevent. When we do Learn, it’s not Remedial at all. A Retrograde Shadow Period has three stages. The Retrograde period, here 24/7-4/9 and 29-13 Leo, is stage 2. Stage 1 is when the planet crosses this Degree Zone the first time, while Direct. That will be 19 June to 23 July and 13 to 29 Leo. Stage 1, called the Can-Opener, is when we get Blindsided by the Lesson Plan, often quite Stressfully. So we may hit Loneliness and Self-Doubt during the Can-Opener.

Stage 2 is the Exposition, where since the planet is Retrograde, the Curriculum is Repeated, more Slowly this time, Step by Step, allowing us to Learn the Lesson. If we’re Paying Attention. If we aren’t Paying Attention, we’ll Re-Experience the Stress of the Can-Opener, and remain its Victim. Stage 3 is the Confidence-Builder, where the Curriculum is Repeated Again, and this time we Sail Right Through it, because we’ve Learned How! If we noticed the Correlation between the Can-Opener and the Exposition. It not, we could have a third Stressful Victim Episode.

Karma and Unconscious Limitations are Created when we Remain in Blame, making our Stress Someone or Something Else’s Fault rather than our own Curriculum, and make a Decision or Vow or Oath or Promise that we’ll Never Put Ourself in that Position again. Of course, it’s unlikely we’ll have a strong Negative Reaction unless it’s already Karmic for us. So we don’t Create New Karma nearly as often as we “just” add Fresh Cement to our Old Karma. If we are Accountable for our Reaction to the original Stressful event rather than Blaming or Projecting it onto Something Else, or if we Notice the Repetition and Become Accountable, we can Learn and Practice Changing our Original Reaction to a Different Response. Then we really do Gain Confidence in the third Stage. Our Skills don’t mean much without our Confidence in them!

Many people misunderstand this Process as Blaming the Victim, which it’s not. We’re Expecting the Victim to take Ownership of their own Reactions to Repeating Stimuli. We can all be Blindsided by New Can-Openers, and since our Karma is many-dimensional, we often have to Re-Experience it in many different Arenas before we Let It Go Completely. We may React with Blame to a Relationship Hassle once, and then React with Blame to a Job Hassle another time, without Realizing that our Reactions are Repeating. That happens to all of us all the time, as we have many Karmic Patterns happening in many different Arenas. But if we’re Alert to Noticing the Similarities between two Reactions, we can Become Conscious that it’s Karma and Choose to Change it.

² The Angles made between Venus and Saturn while they’re Retrograde are closest to four ninths and five elevenths of the Zodiac (the Quadrinovile and Quinelvile, 160 and 164 Degrees), which are about Mastering (4) Contemplation and Introspection (9) and Learning (5) to Appreciate our own Gifts and Talents (11). We derive the meaning of odd (indeed, all ) astrological Angles through the Correlation between the Tarot Major Arcana (Angeles Arrien, The Tarot Handbook) to the Harmonics of the Angles. For instance, the Quadrinovile is four ninths, or a combination of the 4th and 9th Harmonics (360/4=90° and 360/9=40°), equated to the 4th and 9th members of the Major Arcana (Emperor = Dominion and Hermit = Meditation). So the Quadrinovile implies Healthy Control over Meditation).

Inspiration

The Moon is now Out of Bounds (Folks are more likely to Panic than otherwise), as of 18-19 January 2023 (PST 7:27 pm 18th, GMT 3:27 am 19th, IST 8:57 am 19th, AEDT Qld 1:27 pm 19th), over the Southern Hemisphere (Southerly Folks are even more likely to Panic), until 21-22 January (PST 8:52 pm 21st, GMT 4:52 am 22nd, IST 10:22 am 22nd, AEDT Qld 2:52 pm 22nd). The Moon goes Out of Bounds (OOB) for several days every two weeks for a decade or so, then for another decade it doesn’t go Out of Bounds at all. Its first OOB adventure of the 20-year plus Cycle is usually Momentous – for instance, the last two were called “COVID-19” and “Nine-Eleven” – Lotsa Panic.

If you live where you can see the Sky, you can see the Moon go OOB. When the Moon is OOB North, it rises in the Northeast and sets in the Northwest. When it’s OOB South, it rises in the Southeast and sets in the Southwest. I used to live in Seattle, which sits 50 miles/80 km East of an 8,000-foot/2,500-meter high, 50-mile/80 km wide Mountain Range. At the June Solstice in Seattle, the Sun set right on the Northern Edge of that Range. At the December Solstice it set at the very Southern Edge of it. To Seattle, it was the Stone Henge Range. You Felt the difference on your Skin.

Before I lived there, I’d never hung out where there were landmarks at the Solstices, so while I knew conceptually that the Sun traveled from the Tropic of Capricorn to the Tropic of Cancer (23:27° South and North Latitude) and back every year, I had no idea what that really meant “on the ground.” When you can see how far that really is, it’s Shocking. When the Moon is OOB S, it’s further South than the Tropic of Capricorn, and when it’s OOB N, it’s further North than the Tropic of Cancer.¹ Furthur than the Sun ever goes, in other words.

The next Big Event is the Station (Peak Energy) of Uranus (Our Soul), on 22-23 January (PST 2:57 pm 22nd, GMT 10:57 pm 22nd, IST 4:27 am 23rd, AEDT Qld 8:57 am 23rd), in 15 Taurus (The Need to Surrender, Erupting Repeatedly). The difficult Star Menkar lives in that Degree. A natal planet in 15 Taurus means that we’ll have to Surrender Repeatedly to Something. Uranus in 15 Taurus on the other hand means that we have to Surrender Our Egos to Our Soul.

For instance, a friend has their Venus in 15 Taurus, and they’ve Surrendered to their Values so thoroughly all their Life, that they’re Fortunate but Burdened by their acute Conscious Awareness of the Karma that Separates them from their Values. The rest of us are just Burdened. We don’t know we’re Separated from our Less-Conscious Values till we Betray ourself, and then we’re still not sure how we’d Avoid the same Betrayal tomorrow.

The twelve Signs are divided into several Qualities. There are…

two Styles – s1=Dyamic/Masculine/Positive, s2=Magnetic/Feminine/Negative,

three Modalities – m1=Creative/Cardinal, m2=Stabilizing/Fixed, m3=Changing/Mutable, and

Each Sign has a Style, a Modality, and an Element, and the combination of the three is unique for every Sign. Aries starts at s1/m1/e1, and each next Sign just moves and cycles to the next quality in order. Like this…

Each Sign Balances what the previous Sign has Overstressed. For instance, when Aries gets “Airy-Fairy,” Taurus Grounds it. When Taurus gets Stuffy, Gemini Breaks its Rules. When Gemini gets Scatterbrained, Cancer Asks “What are you Feeling?” When Cancer gets Codependent, Leo Prioritizes Self. When Leo gets Full of Itself, Virgo brings Ego Death. When Virgo gets Self-Critical, Libra Invites Other to Refocus Virgo Outward.

When Libra can’t figure out how to do Relationship, Scorpio resolves to “Get to the Bottom of it.” When Scorpio gets too Intense, Sagittarius Advises Letting Go. When Sagittarius gets Lost from Letting Go of everything, like our friend to the left, Capricorn gets Pragmatic. When Capricorn gets Techy, Aquarius Wonders how People fit into the Engineering. When Aquarius gets too Idealistic, Pisces Feels the Pain of History’s Ideological Failures. When Pisces gets Lost in an Emotional Muddle, Aries Appeals to the Angels for Help.

This is why we have natal planets and Transits (visiting planets) all over the map, Sun in one Sign, Moon in another, Mars in Limbo, etc etc, to help us stay In Balance. And why Signs without planets, and Signs with too many planets, contribute their own kind of Karma.

Signs of the same Element Cooperate with one another because they Understand one another. Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius foor instance are all Spirit Signs – Aries Creates, Leo Stabilizes, and Sagittarius Changes, or Adjusts to better fit the next Iteration of the Loop.

Signs of the same Modality Clash, because they’re seeing the World as Composed of different segments. Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius are all Stabilizing Signs, but they Stabilize different parts of the Puzzle. Give them a Problem, and Taurus will fix the Fleshy part of it, Leo will fix the Spirity part of it, Scorpio will fix the Emotiony part of it, and Aquarius will fix the Mindy part of it. What a Team!

But this is the Fourth Harmonic, the Evolutionary Edge of Huperity according to Dane Rudhyar, and it’s stuck on the backside of the Edge. These are called Fixed Signs for a reason – in a Patriarchic Culture based on Domination, these Signs prefer to Dominate. So instead of fixing the Spirity part of the Problem, Leo prefers to tell they other three that they’re All Wrong, the onliest way to fix a problem is the Spirity way! And the other three do the same!

The Fourth Harmonic is really Dominion, not Domination. Dominion means Healthy Control, combining the Inspirational part of Competition with the Multiplicative Benefits of Collaboration. In Domination, the primary Inspiration arises from Fear. Your Success depends on the Success of your “Superior,” and you’re always in danger of being kicked off their Team after you’ve invested a Lifetime of Learning their Rules for your Life.

Twelve Signs and three Modalities means that there are four Signs for each Modality, one for each Element – Fire, Earth, Air, Water. When a number of planets line up near the same Degree of each Modality, Conflict and Challenge result. When all four Elements are represented, there’s Balance and Self-Resolution. But with three, or even two Elements, their Competition, and hence the Challenge, becomes Intense. Every Conflict or Challenge is an Opportunity for SuperPower, but before we get there we have to Learn to Handle the Challenge. In any chart, three Challenges are Possible, one for each Modality – Creative, Stabilizing, Changing. This is how the Challenges we speak of arise…

The 22-23 January Station of Uranus has Challenges in all three Modalities, and none of them are Self-Resolving. That means our Work is cut out for us. As is Her wont, Soul (Uranus) is patiently waiting for us to make a Conscious Choice about whether we want to continue to Live as Ego-Master of Hollow Materialism, or Let Go of our Karmic Limitations and Move to 5D.

In the Creative Modality, the Top Dog is Compassion (Cancer). The Top Dog itself is Boundaries (Pallas), and it’s Amplified (Out of Bounds). The two Lieutenants fighting to Dominate the Conversation are Intuitive Action (Aries), and Relationship (Libra). In the Intuitive Action corner we have Despair and its trainer Miracles (Chiron). When Miracles has its Ear, Intuitive Action Rushes forward to Compete, but most of the time, like our friend to the right, it’s too Depressed to Act. In the Relationship Corner sits Disbelief (Kassandra).

This is a good Metaphor for COVID. The Matriarch of the family says, “Shitodear, this stuff is Dangerous, Let’s Draw some Firm Boundaries” – Masks, Quarantines, Strict Rules about Engagement. The Libertarian Skeptics Disbelieve, saying “Dangerous? No Way, all you need is some Dewormer and you’ll be fine. Those People were already Dying. COVID’s just a Worm.” The Intuitive Actors, many already chronically fatigued, are Paranoid about Long COVID, and mostly Hibernate, Poor-Sweethearting themselves and PIAVAing Safety whenever they run low on Groceries. The Pragmatists (Capricorn), who could perhaps have Balanced the whole One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest Drama, are Absent, relaxing in their Fallout Shelters.

The Panic of the Day in the US is the Debt Ceiling. In the Changing Modality of the Uranus Station chart, the Leader of the Pack is Resilience (Gemini), impersonated by an Environment that Will Sustain Life (Altjira), which is Urgently Needed (Out of Bounds). One Pretender to the Throne is Defense of the Status Quo (Virgo), peopled by The Rule of Law (Orcus) and The Fierce Enforcer (Thereus). The other Wanna-Be Boss is Karmic Emotional Baggage (Pisces), represented by the motley crew of The Patriarchy’s Hit Man (Heracles), Abuse and Privilege (Nessus), and The Web of Life (Arachne). The Web of Life is an Abused Slave Kidnapped by the Hit Man and Privilege. Missing in Action is Letting Go of Ideologies (Sagittarius), who could have been a great help if anyone would listen to them.

Stabilizing Influences are Scarce, with two of them on Vacation, Emotional Stability (Scorpio) and Social Stability (Aquarius). No one is In Charge. The two remaining Stabilities are duking it out, with no Clear Winner. The Stationary Star of our Show, Uranus, is Standing In for Material Stability (Taurus), and joined by Pan, the All-Important Chief Architect of Nature. Meanwhile, the fourth and last Fixer, Leo, the Spiritual Stabilizer, is Led by none other than Hubris (Hybris). How Tricky! It’s Self-Importance that fills the Spiritual side of the Contest, while Our Soul and Nature Itself Team up on it from the Material!

Sounds backward, but Think about it for a moment. We have to be pretty damn Focused on the Self to Commit to Ascension and Follow Up on it, and Flesh is what Our Soul is Descending Into, assisted by the Grand Master of Matter Himself, Pan. If we make the Choice, our Huperity and our Spirituality can Meet in the Middle, as our Self Ascends and our Soul Descends. As we do, we have to Abandon all Expectations and Mindstuff, as we Enter the Unknown, the Great Mystery, symbolized by the Lingam.

¹ To be more precise, the North-South measure of the Moon’s Location is measured not in Latitude but in “Declension,” which is a Projection of Latitude onto the Sky. Declension measures in degrees how far from the plane of the Earth’s Orbit an Object appears to be, while Latitude measures in miles how far the Object is from the Equator. Or something like that – my mind navigates natively in two linear or circular dimensions, while astronomy works in three, and it’s spherical geometry besides. Some day I’ll get Confused enough to Grok the latter.

Denying Nature, Transmuting Abuse

Pan, Nature’s Head Dude, represented by the asteroid that bears His name, is Lit Up Bigtime today,¹ and has been for several days. It’ll also hang around for a week or so, but the Peak of the Energy was today. Unless we made an important Self-Protecting Decision, in which case it can become Karma and Hang Around till we Let It Go.²

The most important thing to know about this, is that Pan is Merged with both Our Soul and Our Mission.³ That’s a Powerful combination. The second-most important thing to know is that Pan and Our Soul and Our Mission have been ganging up on our Held Emotions, trying to talk them into Emerging from Hiding and Liberating us into Enlightenment.⁴ Held Emotions are the ones that we’d Rather Die Than Feel, and they’re usually Unconscious. Held Emotions are always Karmic, and Karma is never Present Moment until we make it so through Belief, so it’s not Physical Death that we Unconsciously Fear, it’s Ego Death.

And Rightly So, because the Ego is the part of our Psyche that’s in charge of Keeping us Alive! Crabs wear their Skeleton on the Outside, so they have to Molt in order to Grow, and once they Molt it takes them a week or so to harden their new larger Shell, during which time they’re extremely vulnerable to being eaten, nutcracker not required. While we probably aren’t direct descendants of Crabs, we may still have that Genetic Memory in our Karma, and for sure, when we Molt our Egos – Shell is actually a good synonym for Ego – we’re quite Defenseless until we Learn to Explain and Justify our new Ego, so there’s more than one parallel between us and Crabs.

We have to Accept Ego Death if we’re Committed to Ascension, and once we do we realize how many Ego Deaths we’ve already Lived Through Successfully – the Proof is in the Pudding. We Learn to Recognize the signs and Embrace the Fear that arises, and Learn to sail through them with Ease. The Held Emotions are always harder to Embrace, because they’re often Karma cemented by Vows we made to ourself while we were Physically Dying in another Lifetime – “I’ll Never do that again!” Those stick like Glue #10.

The third-most important thing abut Pan’s visit, is that we’re being Asked to Let Go of our Patterns around Abuse and Privilege.⁵ While we’ve had a lot of Practice over the last few years, especially when Abuse and Privilege was traveling hand in hand with Intrusive Memories (dwarf planet Gonggong) during 2015 and 2016. Revisiting Childhood Abuse is never Fun, and Dealing with Ancestral Abuse is always Tortuous and Confusing. And while Privilege seems like it should be a Privilege, it has its own Karma.

I’m always reminded of Stephen Levine’s story about a Meditation Retreat where in one session he was Reliving an Auschwitz Experience and Feeling Relieved that his Sense of Victimization was Justified. Then when he went back into Meditation after a Break, he was the one wearing the Jackboots. Wise men have said it before, but Doing Unto Creates the same Karma as Being Done Unto. That’s why Karma, which is the Inertia of Habit, is easily Confused with Retribution. When you Accept the Traditional Wisdom that We Are All One, that becomes Obvious.

Today in Florida and Texas they’re only Burning Books and The Mouse, and in Florida and Georgia and Colorado they’re trying to Burn Down Democracy, so the Oligarchy can Take All. They aren’t Burning and Drowning Witches again yet. Everyone’s Cutting Down and Burning Down the Sacred Groves again, as if they ever stopped. And some Races are undergoing Genocide as we speak. Abuse and Privilege stretches far beyond the Sexual.

The fourth-most important thing about Pan’s Illuminations, is that we’re also being Invited to Revisit and Let Go Of our Karma around the times when our Cultures Expanded so far Beyond our Values, or Beyond Values that would have Permitted our Survival, that our Civilization Collapsed.⁶

² Life-or-Death Decisions often become Karma because we either already Believe, or have to Make ourself Believe, that our Choice was the only way out. Once we convince ourself of that, it becomes an Unconscious Limitation that’s an integral part of our Worldview as if it was a “law of Physics” (which are actually Cultural Karmic Limitations). Worse, it could have been a distant ancestor that made such a Decision (like avoiding Pork in the Middle East in the Olde Days), and the Limitation was passed down to us through Programming. Since we have no way of remembering the origin of such Karma, and since we’re Ridiculed or Shamed for Ignoring it, Letting Go of that sort of Karma has its own Difficulties. We have to lean on our natal Ixion (Psychopathic Ignorer of Traditions) to Transcend it.

Amethyst, Clear Quartz turned purple by Radiation, is the Classical Aid to Ego Death. Its Crown–Chakra Color reminds us nonverbally that we are Spiritual Beings having a Physical Experience, and that Emotional Drama is part of Physical Experience for Hupers, so it Behooves us to Activate our Observer Self, make some Popcorn, and Enjoy the Movie, rather than Empathizing ourselves into the Drama.

Of course, if we Detach like this before we Explore and Embrace the Experience, we can drive our Resisted Emotions further into the dark corners of the Dungeon, especially when we’re Dealing with Held Emotions. So we don’t want to Skip that Explore-and-Embrace Step. We can Explore Emotion through Sensation, for instance, since Sensation involves less Drama, as long as we Avoid Indulging our Thoughts about our Sensations. If we do, we just withdraw our Attention from the Thoughts and Re-Invest It into the Body. To Embrace, we only need to remember that Love is Soft and Warm, Fear is Cold and Hard.

When we Ask ourself Where in my Body am I Feeling this? and Focus our Attention Deeply into that Place and Hold it there, persistently Returning our Attention when it Wanders, our Judgment-Free Laser Attention can Heal without time-consuming distractions to Story, which is just Metaphor anyway. When we’re Working with Karma, there’s no one Story, there are probably at least hundreds, so Story really is a Diversion. Story is good for Invoking the Occulted Emotion, but beyond that it can become the Ego’s attempt to Avoid Change by monopolizing the Conversation.

Once the Discomfort or Intensity in our Body Moves, we’re Done, we can Detach, though we may need to Return later for a Booster or several. This all sounds Mechanical and Unfeeling, and Held Emotions often involve Horrific Terrors. They’re best just Touched in the Emotional Realm, then Explored and Embraced in the Sensation Realm. Then when we Return to Touch them again, the Intensity may be Less. If it’s not, Gary Craig, who developed EFT or Tapping, has a series of videos demonstrating the use of EFT on PTSD. PTSD and Karma are not the same thing, but PTSD is probably usually Karmic.

Amethyst from the Thunder Bay area of Lake Superior in North Ontario Canada, is often speckled with dots of Rust or Hematite, Iron Oxide. These are red, the color of the Root Chakra, so they can help us Stay Grounded while we’re Exploring out Beyond our Crown Chakra and Deep Inside our Skin. As Angie Arrien liked to say, it will help us Walk the Spiritual Path with Practical Feet.

One of my first Rock photos. Most of these were taken with a very early digital camera, before they had large “viewfinder” screens. Using that camera was very much point and shoot, as the screen was too small to really see what I was photographing. I used to call it my Magic Camera, as many of its photos were just that. I suppose I could claim some credit via my Intuition or Instincts, as my Intellect was pretty much blinded by the small screen. Sometimes I imagine how it would be to Live like that, watching Crystals spontaneously and Magically sprouting Flames. I expect 5D to be as full of Delightful Surprises. Hopefully some day I’ll Deprogram my “left brain” enough to approach it.

Denying Nature, Transmuting Huperity

8-18 January 2023 is a busy 10 days. Fortunately the Moon is back In-Bounds for the entire 10 days,¹ so we may squeak by without too many Freakouts on the Edges. Then asteroid Hopi Out of Bounds (Respect for All Things, Amplified ) moves into Scorpio (Which Doesn’t Kid Around ).²

Then the Big Guns – Stations (Increased Impact ) of Pan (the Primary Deva of Nature), Eris (the Revelation of What’s Been Denied ), Mars (Action), and Ka’epaoka’awela (Transmutation), followed by a Station of Mercury (Awareness, Communication).

All of these Stations except that of Eris happen within the same 9-13 Degree Window, so they’re Merged in both Time and Degree. We could hope that Hupers will Become more Aware of their Denial of Nature and Transmute it, Promoting Action to Correct it, but we’ve seen so many False Alarms that we aren’t Holding our Breath. Even more Apocalyptic Weather would be Appropriate. The Pholus-Quaoar Cycle tells us that this will be a long slow process, lasting a couple of Generations.

But that doesn’t mean that we can’t Visualize and watch for signs of Progress and Celebrate them. The Energy of the Restoration of Nature to its Proper Respect is Growing, we’re just unlikely to hear about it from a Minia owned and dominated by the previous Cycle’s oily Energy. That’s why I came to this Planet, to Visualize, Witness, and Celebrate the Restoration of Nature to its Proper Respect, and I suspect many of youalls did too. Progress is Cumulative, and Celebration Magnetizes more Progress, so even small steps are worthy of Celebration.

Everyone is familiar with Quartz, but who well knows the other two thirds of the Silicates and the most common of Minerals, the Feldspars? In these People, the Silicates are paired with Aluminates, and the two Periodic Tablemates often substitute for one another. The two major groups of Feldspars are the Sodium-Calcium Feldspars and the Potassium Feldspars. Know that you can use the Frequency of Crystals or other Stones the way you would use Supplements.

You might use a Sodium Feldspar like Lapis to raise your Blood Pressure a bit and Feel more awake, a Calcium Feldspar like Stilbite to help strengthen your Bones, and a Potassium Feldspar like Amazonite to lower your Blood Pressure a bit and create Calming. The Full Moon’s mate in the 6-8 January 2023 Manifestation Full Moon is a Station (Enhancement ) of dwarf planet Makemake (Manifestation) in 10 Libra (PST 3:00 pm 7th, GMT 11:00 pm 7th, IST 4:30 am 8th, AEDT Qld 9:00 am 8th). In the previous post we talked about how Makemake was Merged with asteroid Kassandra (Disbelief ) and Opposed by (Debating With) Chiron (Despair and Miracles) and Salacia (Commitment to Enlightenment ), but I don’t think we mentioned that this Debate is the root of a Major Challenge (T-Square) to Global Climate Change et al (the ongoing Merger of dwarf planets Pholus [Responsiveness] and Quaoar [Survival Instincts]).

The fact that the Initiation of the New 52-year Pholus-Quaoar Cycle occurred almost simultaneously with Vlady Pootin’s Invasion of Ukraine makes it Clear that the et al in Global Climate Change et al isn’t just about the weather, but also about the Demise of the Patriarchy, the Fall of Western European Colonialist Civilization, the Arrogant Failure of Intellectualism to Respect the other three fourths of Reality, and the Apocalyptic Consequences of those three Disastrous Trends on the Earth.

The Challenge is Fully Self-Resolving, so we may see some subtle progress on bringing Climate Change et al up into Huper Attention. The Collapse of the US House of Representatives as a viable Institution of government, resulting from House Speaker Charlie McCarthy’s bargains with the minority anarchic Trumpista Fascists, plays into Bruce Lipton’s remarks that the Fall of Western Civilization will be Required if we are ever to hope to Restore Nature on Planet Earth. However, it may also Destroy any hope of the US ever meeting its greenhouse gas reduction goals (or providing any services to the 99% outside of the Kleptocracy). Based on the evolution of the Pholus-Quaoar Cycle, we don’t Expect Huperity to pay serious Attention to Climate Change et al until 2081.¹

¹ The Energy of a New Cycle doesn’t usually overcome the Inertia of Investments from the previous Cycle until the New Cycle reaches the Waxing Square. The previous Cycle was of course about Oil. The previous Cycle began shortly after the turn of the 20th Century. After World War I, Coal was phased out as the major naval fuel. By the 1930s, Oil had replaced it. After World War II cities and even cross-country traveling were redesigned, with much help from the Oil-Rubber-Steel industries, to eliminate streetcars and trains in favor of private autos and trucks. A geography colleague worked for the LA City Planning Commission in the 1950s, and shared with me stories about the lobbyists from these industries vigorously advocating the removal of public transportation infrastructure such as streetcar tracks.

Greta will be the first to tell you that governments are much better at “blah, blah, blah” than they are at reducing oil industry profits and pollution anyway, and as Zach Weiss points out, CO₂ and Methane are responsible for about 10% of Global Heating, while the Water Cycle controls 75-90% of it. In other words, meeting greenhouse gas emission targets may have little effect on Atmospheric Heating, and by 2081 Huperity may finally have realized that in order to Cool the Planet we need to Restore Natural Ecosystems to allow the Water Cycle to do its traditional work.

The quintessential Mineral for Attunement to Mother Gaia’s Water Cycle is Indicolite, blue Tourmaline. Tourmaline is a Hydrous Sodium Aluminum Borocyclosilicate. By now you remember Boron as a great Healer, right? The Cyclosilicate Crystal structure is built from rings of Silicate units, in Tourmaline held together by the Boron atoms. In the Healing Stones Tourmaline and Beryl (with the other great Healer, Beryllium, joining the rings in Beryl), the Silicate rings are Hexagons – the same structure as the Grand Sextile, the most Grace-Full and Powerful of the major planetary Configurations. As Above, So Below – the Universe is fractal.

Well, we don’t need to write more about the 2 January 2023 Amplification of asteroid Sisyphus, as the asteroid has been renamed Kevin and has crashed into the US House of Non-Representatives. For all his Effort, does Sisyphus ever win at least a consolation prize? No, he’s still Pushing his Rock several Millennia later! Never Forget that Sisyphus Reminds us to Enjoy the Journey – the Destination is Meaningless, it’s the Journey that brings us Wisdom and Enlightenment.

The 6-7 January Out of Bounds Full Moon (PST 3:07 pm 6th, GMT 11:07 pm 6th, IST 4:37 am 7th, AEDT Qld 9:07 am 7th) in 17 Cancer (A Strong Sense of Self Overcoming the Temptation to go against the Self and mimic someone else) has a pretty Clear Message for us though – We can Hope with all our Might that the Exaggerated Karma that’s Staring us in the Face will go away on its own, but there’s no such Luck until we Invest our Passion into Building Strong Protections around the Facts.¹

While our Comfort-Seeking Ego is Horrified at this TraumaDrama, we’re Reminded of Bruce Lipton’s comment that Western Civilization must Collapse if we are ever to have any Hope for Healing Huperity’s Relationship with Nature and the Planet. And the Full Moon is Defending the Facts, without considering that Facts are always dependent on Perspective and always Debatable.

Unfortunately, the Struggle in the House is about people who are Defending not the Truth of their Mind, but the Truth of their Heart, and the Winner-Take-All US political system has no provisions for differences of the Heart. It’s all about the Patriarchy and Rule by Intimidation.

The positions of these people in the House sound so Ridiculous because the Patriarchy has no Legitimate Language for the Heart. So Libertarians aren’t Content to just Do Their Own Thing and let others do the same, they don’t Feel Safe until they’ve torn down the Comfortable Boundaries for everyone else, lest they end up Fried like Sam Bankman-Fraud.

The Full Moon chart also includes two Cycles of Self-Resolving Hassles (Grand Crosses). In the Fixed Signs, our Soul may be Hassled by Entrenched Ego or the Appearance of the End of Healing. The key is Trust, as so many things are Changing and they are Out of Our Hands. We will need to Surrender our Need for Control (Uranus Square Hybris Square Eurydike Square Panacea-Atropos Square Uranus).

In the Mutable Signs, the Field that Makes Life Possible (Altjira OOB) is Hassled by Our Unconscious Shame about our Technologized Abuse of the Planet (Vesta-Phaedra-Nessus-Atlantis), by Our Need to Deny What We Most Desire (Pinocchio-Tantalus), and by the Difficulty of Changing All of Our Karmic Patterns at Once (Theseus-Orcus).

The Full Moon Potentiates the 7-8 January Fully Self-Resolving Makemake Station (PST 3:00 pm 7th, GMT 11:00 pm 7th, IST 4:30 am 8th, AEDT Qld 9:00 am 8th). A Station means that the planet is Standing Still in the Sky, making its Impact on us Strongest. The dwarf planet Makemake, which Lives out beyond Pluto, symbolizes Manifestation. The Full Moon and the Makemake Station are linked by Time.

The Station features two Fully Self-Resolving Major Challenges and one Self-Resolving Cycle of Hassles. When astrological Configurations are Self-Resolving it’s better to leave well enough alone and not try to Influence events or Change their Impact. Our Observer Self would be good at driving here. We’re still partly to mostly in 3D, and our Minds in 2D, while these astroevents occur in 5D or higher, so we won’t Grok most of what’s going down, and our Interventions may be misguided. If we’re Operating from our Intuition or Guidance, we can Go For It.

The Makemake Station itself is Merged with Kassandra, symbolizing Disbelief. We’re used to Believing that if it’s Too Good To Be True, it probably ain’t, but we may find Exceptions to this standard here, and we may find ourselves hitting Upper Limits (see Gay Hendricks, The Big Leap, chapters 1-3; that’s a lot to Ask, but you won’t Regret doing it!). The Full Moon stretches the Impact of a Station over the following several weeks. The next few weeks should be a Powerful time to Challenge your Disbelief about your Power to Manifest What You Want.

A good time to throw a few bucks at the Mega Millions Lottery. Everyone else will be in the same boat around their Disbelief in their “Luck,” but check your natal chart to see what you have going in 10 Libra (Reaching Bottom). Nowhere to go but Up from There, it may be your turn. My 10-Libra natal planet is Ixion – Goddess Knows what will turn up from my Ticket tomorrow! If what you find is Fairy Gold, which disappears when you try to use it, no worries! It’s a feint, but a sign of what’s to follow. Believing is what counts, and we may have to Fake it till we Make it.

Stationary Makemake-Kassandra is Debating with Chiron-Salacia – Despair over the Enlightenment Challenge or Enjoying the Miracle of Enlightenment. At the Risk of Intervening Shallowly, Choose the latter. If you find yourself Stuck in the former, set an alarm for fifteen minutes, and Deeply Explore your Despair. Not your Thoughts about Despair or your Despairing Thoughts, but the Emotion of Despair.

Locate Despair as a Sensation in your Body. Where does it Reside? Belly? Neck? Knee? If it’s in several places, pick one where it’s Strong. What Sensation do you Feel there? Is it Tight? Loose? Painful? Twisted? Orange? Focus All of your Attention on this Place, and Keep it there till the bell rings. If the Sensation in your Body Moves, follow it. No Thought, just Attention. If you can Control your Thoughts long enough to do this, you’re Out of 2D and into Higher Dimensions, so your odds of Collaborating with the Self-Resolution rise.

If your Thoughts win, Persevere. “Oh, there’s Thinking again. Thanks for Contributing, but we’re doing something else right now, K?” just like when you’re Meditating (which is what you’re doing). Even if you can only Hold your Thoughts Off for a few minutes at a time, it’s very valuable Practice and hints at what you can Train yourself to Do. Once you Feel the Sensation in your Body Move, you’ve found pure E-Motion, EnergyinMotion. Follow it for the whole fifteen minutes, just as Practice.

Then Poor-Sweetheart yourself. Say to yourself, “You Poor Sweetheart, you were Feeling Despair, weren’t you.” Notice that your Feelings have Changed. Even if you didn’t Feel Successful at Holding your Attention on your Sensations, if you were Serious with your Poor-Sweetheart, you’ll be Feeling more Compassion for yourself. Now you have to Change the Subject. Put your Mind on something completely different, and fairly absorbing. Watch something intense on TV or the Internet.

If you don’t get your Mind to Change the Subject, your Mind will go right back to Despair. If you can Change the Subject, you will have made a Life-Long Change in yourself. Not that you won’t have to Practice this Skill, but even without more Practice, you’ve Broken the Karmic Pattern. Every time you Practice, more grout falls out of the Pattern. You’ll be Amazed at how quickly you can Shatter the most Persistent Karma this way.

Even if you’re halfway down Karma Road when you Notice that you’re on Autopilot (“Self-Driving Mode” as Tesla so casually and dangerously calls it), once you Notice, you can Abort the Pattern. Karma is like a Hex or Curse someone put on you. It wouldn’t hurt to say out loud, Revert! as you Notice and Change Course. When you say Revert! you may Remember your Lifetimes as a Wizard or Witch, and many other Personal Powers may come flooding back. The sooner you Change Course, the Easier it is to Notice next time, and the Earlier you Notice, the Easier it will be to Change Course.

It may well have been an Earlier Self that put that Hex on you. We’re flirting with Karma every time we make a Decision. Forgive yourself for that. Habits are very useful. If you drive a car, you Remember how you had to Develop those Habits so you didn’t have to Think, Let’s See now, where are those Brakes? when you need them. Habits only get troublesome when they get Stuck, like they do in PTSD. If we’re Programmed to be Codependent as a Child, it’s hard work to Develop Assertiveness as an Adult, and if we were Programmed to be anything as a Child, you can bet it’s Karmic.

Any Karmic Pattern takes Work to Change, but using that Virtuous Spiral of Noticing and Changing Course, and Reverting any Habits of Self-Judgment that arise, it’s Shocking how quickly we can Change. Since we’re Working with the Unconscious. PIAVAing can help. Visualize yourself Behaving the way you’d Rather, such as Being Assertive rather than Submissive, Feeling Abundance rather than Scarcity, Warm rather than Cool. Imagine how that will Feel and Notice how your Posture Changes. Take Notes, so you can Practice using that Posture to Remember how you want to Feel and Be.

You’re now Working Multidimensionally – Notice how that Feels. You’re moving closer to 5D and Beyond.

Datolite is useful for Inviting Creative Cooperation to come forth from the Unconscious. It’s a Calcium Hydroxide Nesoborosilicate. There’s that Boron again, like in Tourmaline, a Powerful Healing Element. Angels can Fly because they Take Themselves Lightly, and Boron is lighter than all but four other elements – Hydrogen, Helium, Lithium, Beryllium, then Boron. A few pellets of Boiron homeopathic Borax (Hydrated Sodium Borate) will triple the healing of any wounded Mucus Membrane. Remember Boraxo heavy-duty hand soap in the black-and-white can with the red lid? Haven’t seen that in Forever! Dense and hard, Nesosilicates make good Gems, often without even cutting. Zircon, Topaz, the many Garnets, Nesosilicates often make me Swoon! In the Nesosilicates, the Silicate units are not joined together Chemically, but rather by the mineral’s innate Crystallization Pattern. Whoever said Crystals aren’t Conscious?
