Our Chief Asteroid Officer noticed that today, 6 December 2022, at 9:27 pm PST (GMT 5:27 am 7th, IST 10:57 am 7th, AEDT Qld 3:27 pm 7th), Pluto Initiates asteroid Atropos in 27 Capricorn, The Ability to See through the Veil, which we can use to Ascend if we Choose to. Pluto represents the Universal Unconscious, or the Zeitgeist of our Time, as it Evolves. Most of us to one degree or another are Addicted to this Zeitgeist, it’s the Trance that Holds us here and makes us Believe that the only Alternative is Physical Death, a Trick of the Ego in its Resolve to push the Soul into the closet.

Programmed by the Patriarchy, the Ego Believes the Soul to be a Competitor. To Ascend is to See through the Veil of the Ego’s Trick and Acknowledge our Immortal Soul as Who We Really Are. With Uranus (the Individual Soul) transiting Taurus (Matter), that Time is here. Time to Allow the Soul to Merge with the Ego, while the Physical Body continues to Live. The Ego’s function is to Keep the Physical Body Alive. The Patriarchy has been telling the Ego that the Soul only Emerges after the Body dies. Near-Death Experiences tell us otherwise.

Atropos meanwhile, symbolizes Expired Karma. Since Karma is our Expectations, we are always the last to know when Karma passes its Expiry Date. When it does we go looking for it, it’s our Familiar, we know it well and we miss it. It has Defined the Edges of our Reality since Time Began, or so it seems. When we can’t Find it, we Make It Up. Our Friends and Family wouldn’t recognize us without it. We’d Betray them if we Let It Go. Sooner or later, though, we stumble into old Circumstances where the Expired Karma would have Limited us, and without thinking, we Notice that it’s Gone!

With Pluto Beginning a New Cycle with Atropos, in which We See through the Ego’s Veil, Freedom awaits us. It’s hardly ironic that the astrochart describing this New Cycle features a Major Challenge with Denial and its Revelation.¹

But that’s what the Angels and Devils on our Shoulders are Shouting. We’re Clever enough to Ask, What’s the Coin? What’s Happening Here in the Present Moment? Everyone’s shouting Either/Or. Luckily, we Know Better. We Know Reality is Both/And. How does that work? Does Therru get to take Ged and Tenar home on the Other Wind after all? Both/And works because Either/Or is 2D, and Contradiction doesn’t happen in 5D. It’s Paradox there, or more accurately, it’s just more Unitary and Multifarious than Duality can Grok.

The Naked Square from Converting Fear to Power (Sedna) to Continuing to Melt Down Civilization (Atlantis) by Failing to be Accountable (Damocles) to the Web of Life (Arachne) is also Noteworthy.

Now, in astrology Dragon is the other name for the Moon’s North and South Nodes. The South Node is the Dragon’s Tail, our Held Emotions, which can knock us several blocks off our Path with a small twitch. The North Node is the Dragon’s Head, our Life Mission, which Lights a Fire under our Butt once we Figure Out what the Hell we’re Doing Here. So do the Nodes play nice in the Pluto-Atropos Initiation chart?

Whew! Fully Self-Resolving! One Big Challenge – to Let Go of not just our Expired Karma, but also our Unexpired Karma (Lachesis). Karma is Dead, Recall. We are not Helpless against our Karma. All we need to do is Bring it into Consciousness, Notice that a situation has Triggered our Expectations of Bummers, and Change our Response to it. With NathaJay’s Lighten Up, Buttercup for instance (see previous post).

But look at all those Heavyweights on the Dragon’s Tail! Whoever moves these planets around really wants us to Pay Attention! to our most Recalcitrant Emotions! Especially the ones that We’d rather Die than Feel. Ego Deaths (Requiem), Transmutation (Ka’epaoka’awela), Trust (Eurydike), and the Red Dragon of Enlightenment (Zhulong), all getting whacked around by the Spurred Dragon’s Tail. Who’s on the other side of the Argument, standing up for our Mission? Just Our Soul (Uranus).

It’s not drawn in on the chart, but there’s even a Yin Gate, a Mystery School, on the Nodal Axis. A Yin Gate means “Don’t you Dare try to Understand the Relationship between your Karma and your Mission – it will only Lead you Astray. Because all of the Quincunxes (two planets five Signs apart) between the planets on either side of the Nodes. Each Quincunx is a mini-Mystery School that the Dualistic Mind lacks the Bandwidth to Grok.

Goshenite, Clear Beryl, Beryllium Aluminum Cyclosilicate, where the SiO₄ Silicate nodes are arranged in Hexagonal Rings, like Aquamarine and Emerald, the blue and green forms of Beryl. Goshenite “pierces the veil of maya or illusion which separates the ego and the analytical mind from true recognition of reality” (Marquist & Frasl, p.70). In fact, we may be starting in now (as it has been for me), since asteroid Moira (Fate and Choice) is Strong now (Stationary 6:36 am PST 2 November 2021, in 15 Pisces), while also Dancing with (Conjunct) Nessus, suggesting we’ll be working with Multi-Lifetime Abuse material.

Gonggong’s namesake was Himself a Water Dragon, who unleashed a distructive global flood, and tilted the Earth, creating the Precession of the Equinoxes and our dozen ±2,000-year Ages. And Gonggong and Nessus are of course in Pisces, a Water Sign. The other Dragon planet that we use, Zhulong, the Red Dragon of Enlightenment, is also in a Water Sign, Scorpio.

I’ve been Feeling many Visitations from the Other Side of the Veil lately too, as we approach Their Time, Samhain. I know well that it’s not easy to contact the Elementals if we don’t know how to Recognize them when they’re Here, which of course they always are. One resource that I’ve learned a lot from, is Thomas Mayer’s book Answering the Call of the Elementals: Practices for Connecting with Nature Spirits…

“When we experience something in the world, we always have numerous impressions. We can see, smell, taste, hear, and touch it. We also experience forces, feelings, mental pictures, and thoughts. When I look at a stone I experience being held; granite induces different feelings from sandstone. With a stone as my object of perception, for example, I have different thoughts from those I have if I am looking at the sea.

“There is a central presupposition working in the background that we do not question. We separate our perceptions into inner and outer world. We think of our seeing, touching, smelling, tasting, and hearing impressions as an outer world, independent of ourselves, and we think of all other perceptions, such as feelings, mental pictures, and thoughts, as the reactions of our inner soul to the outer world. In this way, we divide the field of perception into two realms through a hidden but entrenched belief that prevents us from seeing this separation, or from being able to think about it clearly. This resistance to clear thinking shows just how strong this belief is.

“As a result of this separation we say, ‘The feeling I get from the stone is mine not the stone’s,’ but we treat the color of the stone differently, saying ‘The color belongs to the stone.’

“This split into inner and outer worlds of perception makes no sense, because there is no color except if I experience one. The perception of color is never separated from me or my consciousness. Outer and inner do not appear in perception: when seeing, there is an experience of colors and forms but no inner and outer; when feeling, there is an experience of feelings but no inner and outer; when thinking, there is the experience of thinking but no inner and outer.

“Consciously reflected self-observation shows that all perceptions are always a uniform process. The concepts of ‘inner’ and ‘outer’ are completely inappropriate here. They do not emerge from the process of perception; they are superimposed upon this process after the fact. You cannot make headway by using these concepts, but to distance yourself from them is also not easy. We have become accustomed to them; they give our soul security.

“But if we avoid separating our perceptions into inner and outer realms, both the color and feeling impressions of the stone are of equal importance. We observe that the whole world is woven through with a feeling plane. Whenever we perceive, feelings are also created. If we do not separate into inner and outer, we can say that the feeling belongs to the stone, just as the color, the form, and the solidity belong to the stone. There is a feeling level to the world, and these feelings belong to the things of the world.

“With this discussion about the stone we are now already very close to the elemental beings, because the feeling that belongs to the stone does not exist in empty space; it has a carrier. This reveals itself when you hold the feeling meditatively in your awareness, intensifying the feeling in yourself, a feeling that is held by the elemental beings of the stone. So the elementals are the carriers of the feeling level of the world. I cannot think of a more poignant characterization of the elemental beings. They carry the feelings of the world.” (pp.18-19)

And we can extrapolate this to Time and Astrology – the planets-Signs-Angles¹ Configurations carry the Feelings of the Moment. And when one of those Momentary Feelings gets Stuck on a burr on our Ego, rather than rolling off and moving on like a Feeling is meant to do, we Identify with that Feeling, and then rapidly get Lost in Our-Thoughts-About-Our-Feelings. Not that this is a Negative process; we re-investigate our previous Experiences through this process, and in Positive Circumstances and Responses, we Clear away old Stuck places – grind down the burr a little more – and Heal. Or, if we aren’t Ready to Heal that burr yet, we add a little clay to it and make it a little taller, so the next time a Momentary Feeling gets Stuck on it, our Experience of it is a little more Painful, so the likelihood is a little greater that we’ll Wake Up and Notice how we’re in the Habit of Reacting to it.²

• ¹ And -Houses. The Solar Year and the Lunar Month are divided into twelve Signs, and the 24-hour Day is divided into twelve Houses. I think of the planets as Feelings or Energies, the Signs as Filters or Lenses, the Angles as Triggers for our Reactions, and the Houses as where the Energies are likely to land in our Day-to-Day Mundane World.
• ² This is a parallel Metaphor for the notion that Karma is Inertia, and every time we Indulge our Karma Unconsciously, we make it a little Stronger, while every time we Notice that we’re starting down that road again, and cut a U-ey instead (ie, Choose an Alternate Response), we make the Karma a little Weaker. Just like muscles, it’s Reps that add muscle (or fat) here and not there. The notion that Karma is Retribution, by the way, is just Judgment, Dualism, Politics. You don’t want to fall for that Dead-End; it was just someone’s effort to try to Manipulate and Control you.

Tuesday’s Curriculum

“The initial stages of our individual spiritual unfolding inevitably involve the experience of enchantment early in life. As we move into our lives as active participants, the enchantment may withdraw for a time, and then sometimes, mysteriously, it may reappear, often through a powerful conection with nature. This re-enchantment through nature, in my opinion, is predictable, even inevitable, because nature is where the juice is. I’m talking about the Life Force that breathes essence and wonder into our world and into our selves.” –Hank Wesselman, The Re-Enchantment, pp.3-4.

What we don’t Bring into Consciousness we’re doomed to Repeat. And Repeat. And Repeat. And Repeat – you probably get the idea. We all have a Mission in each Lifetime. It’s Multidemensianal, so the 2D Either/Or Mind has Limited Access to its Nature. When we’re able to Step Outside of our Ego-Self and our Physical Body and our Attic Full of Unresolved Emotions, and Review our Life as an Outsider who knows every little Detail and Secret, we can see the Themes we “Love” to grind on over and over, the Themes that occupy most of our Time. Owning those Themes is a Big Step toward Bringing them into Consciousness.

Here in the Pandemican Republic, the Overarching God is the Dollar. That’s why nobody’s outraged when we dispatch a couple hundred thousand Elders, who have been a big drain on our Dollars anyway, so we can get back on the Treadmill that the Bazillionaires use to Enslave us. We don’t have Time for this Coronavirus shit, we’ve got an Earth to Plunder! Our Relationship with this Dollar thing might be an example of a Theme to review, as an Outsider who knows every little Detail and Secret, from a Place Outside of our Ego and our Body and our Unresolved Emotions.

Does this Relationship Serve us, or Torture us?

Are we Excited to Follow it’s twists and turns?

Is it a Loyal and Reliable Partner that makes Everything Easier, with two Cats in the yard?

Do we play Games with it?

Are they Win-Lose, or Win-Win?

Do they feel like they’re Life-and-Death?

Are we Meeting our Goals with it?

How much Stress does it give us?

Do we feel like we have Healthy Control over it?

Or are we at its Mercy?

Do we spend much of our precious Attention Worrying about it?

Are we Able to stay in the Present Moment with it, or do we Hang Out in the Future when we’re Negotiating with it?

How much and how often has this Relationship Changed over the course of our Life?

Changed toward Ease?

Toward Stress?

How has it Changed during 2020?

Are these Changes similar to any other Period in our Life?

This isn’t a quiz, just some Suggested Perspectives to have Recent as you Ask for Insight, Move into Trance, Step Out of your Ego, Step Out of your Body, Step Out of your Emotions, Expand your Attention into the Emptiness, and Wait to see if any Messages arise.

In a recent post we talked about a Grand Quintile, or five planets more or less equally spaced around the Sky, that was occurring. Quintiles are about Teaching and Learning. While planets dodge in and out, the Pattern is still with us…

Here it’s drawn for when the Moon (our Instincts) crosses the North Node (our Mission). The Big Opportunity here has nothing to do with whether we have a Blue Wave or a Fascist Coup or a Civil War. It’s about how we use the Opportunity to Examine our own Reactions, Emotions, Thoughts, and Healthy Control amid everything that’s going on. Even our Lightworker Selves have to work from Neutrality. The whole Game becomes a Control Trip otherwise. How many of us are Neutral here? Which doesn’t mean giving up the Objectives we’re Passionate about. If that seems like a Contradiction to you, just call it a Paradox and Move On.

In addition to Heightened Instincts about our Mission in the Lifetime (Moon-North Node), the other corners of the Grand Quintile (Free Seminar with Cosmic Teachers) are Vesta (An Opportunity to Expand or Eliminate our Unconscious Limitations), Juno (An Expansion of our Consciousness, like it or not), Chiron (Elimination of Victim Postures), and Saturn-Chariklo (Confidence that we’re tuned into The Most Important Thing – For Ourself). Which may not be The Most Important Thing For Others. These are the Parameters of our Curriculum. I guess the Seminar might not be totally Free – it may come at the Cost of some Discomfort, maybe an Ego Death or two.

Let’s review this week’s Calendar…

Overthinking and its Toxic Effect on our Emotions or Suppression thereof (Mercury Stationary) is Exaggerated till 11am PST 3 November. Mercury is turning Direct, so all of the textbook versions of Mercury Retro should be Reversed, since Travel and Communication, and hopefully voting, should be much Enhanced as Mercury Leaves its Retrogradation.

Our Insights about our Lifetime Mission (Moon Conjunct North Node) should get Stronger till 10pm PST 3 November.

We’re probably fortunate that Mercury (Thinking) finishes it’s Exaggeration (Station) before our Emotions become Inflamed Beginning at 11pm PST 3 November when the Moon moves Out of Bounds again. It’s going OOB in the Northern Hemisphere, so it wouldn’t be too surprising that Emotions are Inflamed even more in that half of the Planet. I present that “without evidence,” as the Media likes to say these days. I’ve never studied the difference, nor read about anyone who has, so I’m Intuiting.

Our Investment in The Life Force increases till 2pm PST 4 November. Among other things, we could Experience this Investment as Healing, Illness, Fear of Death, Fear of a Life That Feels Worse Than Death, a Deep Appreciation of the Mystery of Nature, and/or a Deep Rage at the Destroyers of Nature. We aren’t overdramatizing this, as we’ve all Endured Lifetimes That Felt Worse Than Death, and the Threat of a Coup by an Unstable Narcissist, Sociopath, Bully, and Tyrant who Loves to Destroy Nature – should we ever Encounter such a Threat – will most certainly Trigger our Held Emotions (the ones we’d Rather Die Than Feel) from those Lifetimes.

This is one of our Greatest Opportunities here – to Recognize that our Terror and Rage aren’t Present Moment, they’re Karmic. The sooner we Realize this and Lovingly Welcome it into Consciousness, the sooner we can be Neutral enough to be Effective in Preventing a Repeat of the Destruction of the Sacred Groves by the early Popes and their Henches, and a Repeat of our Slavery at the Mercy of Sadistic Masters – which is exactly what the BLM movement is about.

In honor of Varuna’s Station here, I’m going to introduce one of Her Priests – Zhulong, or Torch Dragon, Bringer of both Light and Enlightenment. The Mythic Zhulong Creates the Day by Opening his Eyes, and the Night by Closing them. The minor planet that bears his name is what’s called a “TNO” or Trans-Neptunian Object – too small to be a dwarf planet, more or less an asteroid, but nothing like the folks who hang out in the usual Asteroid Belt between Mars and Jupiter, as it Lives out there closer to Pluto. Probably an Iceball.

TNO Zhulong is as we speak in early Scorpio, Challenging us to Cast the Light of our Conscious Respect on the Life Force Herself, as personified by Nature (aka Squaring Varuna in Leo). Zhulong also joins Vesta (Unconscious Limitation) to form a Finger of the Goddess (meaning Pay Attention!) to Chiron (Graduating from Victimhood), which like Vesta is a member of our Grand Quintile Faculty. A warning in other words that Victimhood will be on the final exam.

(We stop Learning once we move from Curiosity to Judgment, and it’s not that many Degrees between the 144-Degree Biquintile of (Rote) Learning and the 150-Degree Quincunx of Curiosity, so if we stretch our Sensitivity (“Orb”) a little, Vesta can be both Quincunx (in the Finger of the Goddess) and Biquintile (in the Grand Quintile) to Chiron. The fact that the Grand Quintile Pattern is Long-Lived helps give us Permission to stretch the Sensitivity – the Pattern has developed a Life of its Own apart from its planets, like wearing a path in a lawn by repeating the same route. The Biquintile combines the Fifth Learning Harmonic with the Second Tradition Harmonic, so the Biquintile tends toward the Rote, which is useful as long as one Remembers that it’s History and not Dogma.)

Examine your Emotions and Reactions to your Fantasies about the Events of 3 November from the Perspective of Victimhood. Are you Fearing you’ll be a Victim of the Blue Wave or the Fascist Coup or the Civil War? Our Karmic Victims are hiding out behind every Bush, and since they’re Karmic, we tend to think of them as JustTheWayThingsAre rather than WhatWeCanLetGoOf because Karma Is Dead. It Died with Time in 2012, but we’re slow to Notice, because it looks so much like JustTheWayThingsAre to us that we don’t know there’s more. Victimhood is not a Fun way to Live, and we don’t have to. We just need to Bring it into Consciousness so we can Recognize it and Choose Otherwise.

Recognize that if we get Entangled in any untoward Dramas as a result of 3 November, it’s because on some level “we” have Chosen it – it may be an Unconscious part of “we” that’s Chosen it, or our Fear or Resistance may have Drawn it to us (in which case an Unconscious part of “We” may be trying to Manipulate Ego-Us into Letting Go Of our Fear or Resistance because it Attracts what we Don’t Want). “We” may have to Review just exactly Who “We” is.

The Chiron Finger of the Goddess has been with us since before 31 October (when Vesta Sextile Zhulong was Exact), and will slowly Wane after 5am PST 6 November (when Vesta Quincunx Chiron is Exact). The Curiosity Angle (Quincunx) between Chiron and Zhulong will be with us till at least March, since they both move pretty slowly. Remember to Eschew Understanding and Preserve your Curiosity about how Victimhood and Enlightenment are Related. Their Relationship is more Complex than the Dualistic mind can comprehend, and by Believing we Understand, we Prevent furthur Learning and Freeze out Wisdom.

The Moon stays OOB till 11pm PST on 6 November. You may want to mark your calendar and reread this post shortly after that, to review how the Moon OOB Interacted with your Karma and the Potential Traumas of 3 November. All week, up until 3am PST 7 November, Respect for All Things, and its Evil Twin Disrespect (do we know anyone like that?), will be Enhanced (asteroid Hopi Stationary). This is a major part of the Seminar, as we Easily get to see where Other People are Out of Respect, especially Respect for the Life Force and Enlightenment (which is very tight with Neutrality). Once we Recognize that the Real Issue is that they’re Out of Respect, we can Walk a Mile in Their Shoes.

By the way, if you do Encounter Trouble with any Blue Wavers or Coupists or Civil Warriors, definitely do Walk a Mile in Their Shoes. That way, by the time they Notice, you’ll be a mile away and you’ll have their Shoes.
