The Moon moved Out of Bounds South from 4 Sagittarius on 3 June (UT 11:22, PDT 4:22 pm 3rd, BST 12:22 am 4th, IST 4:52 am, AEST 9:22 am 4th) and returns In Bounds at 8 Aquarius on 7 June (UT 20:26, PDT 1:26 pm 7th, BST 9:26 pm 7th, IST 1:56 am 8th, AEST 6:26 am 8th). Folks often get more Skittish when the Moon is OOB, especially when it’s OOB over their Hemisphere. The Moon was Full when it was OOB, so it was kind of a Double Whammy.

Loyal Reader desmene has commented that they found the vintage post about Squares, Square Planets Up Your Nodes to still be really valuable even after 8½ years, and I Agree! Especially since we’ve been writing about Squares more than anything lately.

I found a relatively painless way to scan for Outs of Bounds, so barring neuron misfires (let me know if you spot any), all of those have been added to the updated June Calendar along with all of the Initiations except those in Leo and Virgo. Ten Signs down, two to go. I hope to finish the rest in the next few days. We could Walk from mid-Pisces to mid-Virgo without getting our Feet wet, the planets are so thick there.

Even without Leo and Virgo, 80% of the Initiations are in that half of the Zodiac, so if it feels like everything is tilting to one side, it may not be Scoliosis after all. I’m using NathaJay’s generously volunteered 5D Human Heart Grid Remedy Library anyway, and recommend it highly. I’m just using PIAVAs to get there, and they’re Working. So far my Hip Pain is Less, and my Vision has Improved.

I can see that I need to start building the next month’s Calendar around mid-Month, not in the last week. It’s only early June, and already several Major astroevents have slipped by. Since most of them are Beginnings of fairly Long-Term Cycles, let’s do a Top-Down (relatively) Quicky summary of those…

New 4¼-Year Moira-Chaos OOB Cycle 1 June in 1 Cancer

Asteroid Moira is all about Fate, and dwarf planet Chaos symbolizes Our Unlimited Potential. We talked about this in Deja Vu All Over Again 1, but I don’t think we Emphasized how Important our Beliefs about Fate are to our Ascension. The Bottom Line is that Fate Becomes Choice when it’s Brought into Consciousness.

This Cycle begins just after our Famous 6-Pisces Karma-Saturn-Gonggong (The Most Important Thing Is Attending to Our Karmic Intrusive Memories) sinus-Clearing Adventures, and Gonggong stood on the platform waving as we Departed. If we Pushed Off with an Unconscious Belief that Fate/Destiny/Karma is all Preordained and Unchangeable, then we left the SuperPowers in the Locker ashore, and we’ll be needing them en route.

Since it’s Unconscious, how do we Know if we’re Disbelieving our Unlimited Potential? Well, when you Daydream about your SuperPowers, do you Feel Energized afterward, or Overwhelmed by your Yesbuts, as if you’ve just been Fantasizing an Escape from your “Reality”? If Energized, do you set aside time to Daydream more? If Yesbutted, do you Cancel-Neutralize-Upgrade?

If we eschew drawing up the chart, we can ask Lonsdale for the Chandra Symbol of the Initiation Degree – Surrender to Spirit. 1 Cancer is also Adjacent to Betelgeuse, Achievement and the Hollowness of Being Outer-Directed. Betelgeuse appears to be getting ready to Self-Immolate.

New 4¼-Year Juno-Altjira OOB Cycle 1 June in 18 Gemini

Being the Victim of her husband Zeus’s philandering, Hera (Juno to the Romans) was constantly having to turn her Rivals into Stone. How do we Exit Victimhood? We Need to Grow Our Consciousness, which is how we interpret asteroid Juno. As mostly-Helpless Victims of Global Climate Change, we’re pretty much in the same position. Altjira represents the Field that Allows Life to Exist, very relevant to Global Climate Change.

We don’t Change any Karma, let alone Victim Karma, without first Noticing It, and second Accepting It Exactly As It Is – Bringing it into Consciousness and Replacing the Hard and Cold Negative Reinforcement of Rejection with the Soft and Warm Positive Energy of Loving Embrace. Because of our Extensive Experience with it, every unit of Karma is also a SuperPower – the difference is that we Habitually use Karmic Patterns everywhere indiscriminately, while we put our SuperPowers to work only where Appropriate.

The 18 Gemini Chandra Symbol is Perfect Attunement to the New Energies, and 18 Gemini is Home to the other Orion SuperStar, Rigel, which is about Teaching. Altjira also Initiated a New Cycle with asteroid Atlantis on 30 May in the same Degree, reminding us of the Potential Consequences of our Inertia. Juno Initiated it’s own New Cycle with Atlantis on 26 February, in 23 Aries, The Ultimate in Flexibility, Continuously and Rapidly Adapting to an Ever-Changing World, without Attachment.

New 1-Year Mercury-Altjira Cycle June 2 in 18 Gemini

So Mercury joins Atlantis-Juno-Altjira in 18 Gemini. Mercury is about Conscious Awareness, so we’re also Beginning one-year Cycles about Gaining Conscious Awareness of our Personal and Cultural History with Atlantis, about our Need to Grow our Awareness of our History with Atlantis, and about their Impact on the Field of Life.

New 15-Month Venus OOB-Veritas Cycle 1 June in 27 Cancer

We also introduced this Cycle in Deja Vu All Over Again 3. 27 Cancer calls up The Hidden Half of Ourself that Will Change the World If We Can Find It and Nurture It and Allow It to Express Itself. Veritas represents The Truth of the 2D Mind, which is always Conditional and open for Debate. Venus on the other hand represents our nD Values, which are Constant. However, Our Values are Interpreted through the 2D Mind.

So this Cycle is basically about our Annual Evaluation of our Values. The Critical Thing is that we Choose not to Evaluate with our Analytical Skills, but with our Observational Skills. We can Find and Nurture and Express our Effective World-Changer when we’re Tune In to Watching Honestly whether our Behavior matches Our Beliefs about our Values. When it doesn’t, we need to Change either our Behavior or our Beliefs about our Values in order to get Coherent enough to move into 5D.

The process of Building an Identity (Leo) acts through Trusting Impulse (Aries), Making Choices (Taurus), Experimenting with Variations (Gemini), and Adding Compassion (Cancer). 27 Cancer is in the penultimate Taurus Duad (2½°) of Cancer – Making Final Choices about What Sort of Compassion Is In Integrity with Our Core Values. Do our Habits of Thought and Behavior and Speech Support Us-Against-Them, We’re-All-One, or We’re-All-Alone?

New 6½-Year North Node-Jupiter Cycle 2 June in 4 Taurus

Our Perception of our Lifetime Mission is usually Sketchy and Hard to Hold in Focus, appropriately so since it’s nD while the Observing Mind is 2D. I hope you take advantage of the Incredible free Robert Moss recording we mentioned at the beginning of this post, as he talks all about this. Robert talks fast, he has little accent any more, and his Wisdom is Truly Encyclopedic, in Many Dimensions! The free hour will be available at least through 9 June, and probably longer, since the course it promotes is recorded and at-your-own-pace.

The most trivial level of meaning for this Cycle is Expanding Our Connection to Our Own Life Mission, which is hardly trivial! I do have the chart for this one, and it has two Fully Self-Resolving and Enhanced Challenges with two Renditions of the same theme – one is Converting Fear to Power (Sedna) and the other is Converting Disbelief to Belief (Kassandra).

The Shoulder Elves for the Fear/Power Conversation are All that 6-Pisces Catarrh (Saturn-Damocles-Gonggong) and Enlightenment (Samadhi). Samadhi is in Virgo, so we can Expect a number of Big Ego Deaths around our Perfect Pictures of 5D. The Little People hanging from your Earlobes on the Belief Issue are asking, Are those SuperPowers Really My Destiny? (Moira-Chaos OOB) and But What about the Rules We Learned in School? (Ixion OOB).

The Chandra Symbol for 4 Taurus is something like A Dreamer about Lost Skills, Stuck in a Trance, Revertible by Inner Work and Deep Belief in the Power of the Soul. This is Jupiter’s Initiation of the True Node, which jiggles all about. Jupiter Initiated the Mean Node, which averages out a smooth Retrograde motion, on 27 May in 3 Taurus, Living in Both the Inner and the Outer Worlds and Dancing between Them, Without being Able to Commit to Either. I’ve never researched the Difference between the Impacts of the two versions. Feel free to Comment if you have.

Uranus (Our Individual Soul) Initiates Vesta (Our Unconscious Limiting Beliefs) in 21 Taurus (Adept of the Mysteries), Beginning a 4-Year Cycle on Bringing Our Limiting Beliefs into Consciousness so We Can Stretch Them; UT 18:50 (PDT 11:50 am 30th, BST 7:50 pm 30th, IST 12:20 am 31st, AEST 4:50 am 31st)

Three Good-Sized Challenges here (a Creative and a Stabilizing T-Square and a Naked Square in the Changing Signs), which is appropriate since Stretching our Limiting Beliefs often involves Ego Death and even Held Emotions. Sometimes Insight does the job with far less Sturm und Drang – let’s check to see if any Epiphanies are available…¹

¹ We associate Trioctiles (a Square-and-a-half or 135 Degrees) with Insight, as they combine the Eighth (Adjustment) and Third (Love with Wisdom) Harmonics. Put a third planet at the far midpoint from a Square, and you have a Trioctile Yod, which, to the folks who still regard themselves as Victims of their Squares and “Semi-Squares” (Octiles), might be called a Middle Finger of the Goddess (they actually call it a “Hammer of Thor”).

To the contrary, we consider a Trioctile Yod to symbolize Epiphany, since we’re Resolving a Square with a matched pair of Insightful Trioctiles. Believing the name Hammer of Thor to be loaded with Baggage about Ultimate Destruction, we prefer a new name. We often use Mjölnir, although it’s just the Norwegian name for the Hammer of Thor. We could also use Vajra, the Hindu name for the weapon preferred by Indra, chief of the Gods in many sects.

They have the same Mythic roots. The Vajra combines Irresistible Force (Lightning) with Indestructibility (Diamond). If we assume that the Mythic is more about Ego Death than Physical Violence – which is an easily defensible assumption – then the Indestructible Diamond is Spiritual Truth and the Irresistible Lightning is Illumination, and what is Destroyed is Karmic Naivete. Hence, Epiphany, as sudden as Lightning.

Aha, we do have Epiphanies to our Naked Square, and to one half of the Challenge to our Creativity.

The first Challenge, in the Stabilizing Signs – the Difficulty which Threatens our Soul’s Infusion into our Unconscious Beliefs (Uranus-Juno) – is the Interplay (Opposition) between Burnout from the continuing Effort Required (Icarus-Tantalus OOB), and Pride in our Manifestation Skills (Hybris-Artesian). While Pride is Psychologically Healthy, it’s not Conducive to Spiritual Progress.

In the Creative Signs, the Tension of the Challenge pushes on Ganesh (Focus of the T-Square) in the form of a Muddle between the Argument that Transformation (ie, Formation of a New Trance) can be Instantaneous (Ka’epaoka’awela) and a Debate over How Exactly the Patriarchy should be Disarmed (Heracles-Chiron). Chiron, recall, gave up his Immortality in order to be Relieved of the Pain of his Unhealable Wound.

If a Disempowered Patriarchy Admitted how much Suffering its Constant Competition and Fear of the “Darkness” (the Feminine) has created not just in its Victims but also in its Perps, a Spiritually Honorable Choice for it would be to Graciously Accept its Mortality. Knowing how Addictive Privilege is, and seeing how Pride is already Destabilizing (the first Challenge, above), and how rarely we see Remorse in the Perps nailed so far, we wonder if that’s likely.

However, that Square between Ganesh and Heracles-Chiron is Illuminated by a Vajra. The Rescuing planet is Nemesis in 6 Gemini, Maintaining a Heroic Tenacious Hold on Our Intention to Heal into Wholeness. But, Nemesis as Rescuer? Yes – the Epiphany may well be that Most of Our Guilt is Synthetic, Injected by the Patriarchy to Keep us Down! We’ll find out more at the upcoming 8 June Initiation of Heracles by Chiron.

The Naked Square is in the Mutable Signs, between Nesssus (Abuse/Privilege), Pandora (Hope), and Klotho (New Beginnings) in Pisces, and Altjira Out of Bounds (Emphasis on the Field of Life), Atlantis (Lessons from Prior Disrespect of Same), and Juno (the Need for Growth in Consciousness) in Gemini – basically, Our Worry about whether Western Civilization will Collapse before or after it either Destroys the Livability of Earth, or Recognizes the Need for an Upgrade in Consciousness, or both.

The Vajra or Epiphany to this Naked Square is more Positive – Jupiter-North Node (Expansion-Mission) in 4 Taurus, A Dreamer about Lost Skills, Stuck in a Trance, Revertable by Inner Work and Deep Belief in the Power of the Soul. As we would Expect, a Merger of Jupiter and the North Node would be welcomed by Enhanced Self-Resolving Challenges. They Merged 27 May in 3 Taurus (Mean Node), and will Merge again 2 June in 4 Taurus (True Node).

Cuspal New Moon

The 19 May 2023 New Moon (UT 15:53, PDT 8:53 am 19th, BST 4:53 pm 19th, IST 9:23 pm 19th, AEST 1:53 am 20th) in 29 Taurus (Full Self-Expression without Ego-Attachment) features one Major Challenge that’s not only Self-Resolving but also Enhanced. The Challenge is to, what else but, Our Enlightenment (asteroid Samadhi).

The Arguments that Unsettle our Enlightenment are between the Angel of Trust (Eurydike) on one Should-er, and the Devil of Fear of Guilt (Sedna-Nemesis Initiation Merged with the New Moon) on the other Should-er. The Initiation was Exact on 16 May (UT 3:07, PDT 8:07 pm 15th, BST 4:07 am 16th, IST 8:37 am 16th, AEST 1:07 pm 16th) in 30 Taurus (Guided to Explore the Underwhere).

It’s probably worth noting that Guilt is usually a “False Flag” Attack on us, because if our Relationships are Operating on the Up-And-Up, we’d Respond to Regret or Remorse by Making Amends. Guilt usually arises because some Programmer or other, or some Cultural Demon told us it was Naughty to do or say That, didn’t quite succeed in Shaming us for it (otherwise our Shame would arise rather than Fear of Guilt), but did succeed in convincing us never to do or say That when anyone was watching.

Sedna is really about Converting Fear to Power, which can be done with Guilt-Free Kegels (O Gawd, not Those muscles!), so we can practice stopping in mid-stream as we’re Pissing on that Devil, though we probably want to knock him off our Shoulder first. We may have to do this several to many times over the next month, since the New 4½-year Guilt-Fear Cycle is Merged with the New Moon, and New Moons imply the course of the following month.

It’ll provide a fantastic Opportunity to Break any Fear-of-Guilt Karma we have. If we run into what looks like actual Guilt Karma, since we can hardly do Amends to Karma, except Energetically, Forgiving Ourself might be a place to start blowing that away. We may well have to use our Mirrors for Blocking the Ghosts of our Programmers to Create a Safe Space for that.

Just beyond Sensitivity or “Orb” to this Cuspal New Moon and Sedna-Nemesis Initiation is another important Initiation, of the North Node by Jupiter, starting a 7½-year Cycle that Begins on 2 June (UT 0:40, PDT 5:40 pm 1st, BST 1:40 am 2nd, IST 6:10 am 2nd, AEST 10:40 am 2nd) in 4 Taurus (A Dreamer about Lost Skills, Stuck in a Trance, Revertible by Inner Work and Deep Belief in the Power of the Soul). I had to look up what I had natally in 4 Taurus after reading that – it was asteroid Mnemosyne, a slightly-less-Transparent version of Gonggong. Point taken.

The Jupiter-North Node Initiation itself is the Focus of a Challenge that’s Enhanced but not Self-Resolving, where the central Riddle lies in Integrating the Debate between Wringing the Disinformation out of the Current Culture (the Merger of Pinocchio OOB and Pluto), and Improving our Health through Active Ego Death (the Stellium of Mars, Cyllarus OOB, and Varuna OOB).

Dis-Ease is more about What We Believe than it is about some External Force Attacking our Body, and Healing is more about Changing What We Believe than it is about adding more External Forces to Attack the Side Effects of earlier ones. While the stock market is low, you might profit more by buying Big Pharma than healthcare.

I was in hospital to get an IV antibiotic for a nasty Tooth Infection several years back, when the PA came in with half a dozen Nurses to ask me why they were “already” taking five prescription meds while I was taking none, though I was a quarter-century older than they. They were on the Side-Effect treadmill that the For-Profit Medical Cartel sells us.

I just told them to check out Functional Medicine (let thy Food be thy Medicine and thy Medicine be thy Food) because I thought Held Emotions would be too much, though many healthcare workers use Energy Medicine techniques that they add on their own. Not to discount the fact that Modern Healthcare is a Life-Saver for many serious Dis-Ease issues. Dr. Dispenza’s story is incredible, but not for everyone. Yet.

A second Challenge (T-Square), obviously related to the first, is Self-Resolving but not Enhanced. Its Focus is Believability (Kassandra) in 4 Libra (Acute Sensitivity to the Traumas of One’s Own Shadow Eventually Breeds Compassion, and with it the Realization that Escape Arrives Only through Unconditional Acceptance).

Its Debate (Opposition in the base of the T-Square) is between The Desire for Simple Abundance (Varda), and Intuitive Knowledge of Both Our Fate and Our Unlimited Potential (Asbolus OOB-Moira-Chaos OOB Stellium). Remember that Fate becomes Choice when we bring our Karma into Consciousness.

The pinkish natural Gemstone on this bladey Crystal Matrix is a Topaz, an Aluminum Nesosilicate Floride. The Nesosilicates are Crystals where the Silicate units are not linked together into the pairs, chains, rings, or 3D matrices like other Silicates. The Nesos can be harder Crystals because without the rigid structure of the other Silicates, the “Units” can be more densely packed.

The groupings of chemicals that provide Identity to a Crystal are called “Units” because they aren’t molecules or salts or ions. Molecules are functionally complete, generally without stray + or – charges hanging out of them. Molecules interconnect more by Shape than Charge. Salts are easily dissolved, and easily broken into positive-charged cations and negatively-charged anions. Repeating Crystal “Units” define the Mineral by their chemical composition, and they’re the Lego pieces that make up a Crystal, by hooking up to neighboring Units by the electrical charges on their edges.

Topaz is particularly useful for working with and Healing Fear of Memories and PTSD, and hence Held Emotions. The matrix here is Albite, a “Plagioclase Feldspar.” The Gemmy Silicates like Quartz and Topaz are well known because they make such lovely Gems and stately Wands, but the Feldspars are another branch of the Alumino-Silicates. The few decorative Feldspars you might have met include Moonstone, Labradorite, Amazonite, and the Zeolites.

Quartz and the Feldspars are the only Silicates that assemble their Crystalline Units into 3D matrices. Feldspars can look like Micas, because they can fracture along shiny reflective planes, but they don’t form sheets like the Phyllosilicates, and the surface of planar Feldspar crystals, while shiny, are usually irregular. Plagioclase Feldspars mate Calcium or Sodium with the Alumino-Silicate, as opposed to Potassium.

Albite is a Sodium Alumino-Silicate, a cousin to Labradorite and Amazonite, and it’s excellent for helping to maintain the necessary hydration in the cells for strenuous exercise of the muscles in physical exercise, and of the nervous system in metaphysical exercise like Yoga or Meditation or Healing. As we approach a record year for Heat (which it’s already become in many parts of the Globe), Albite also helps the body maintain hydration during times of high temperature. The combination of Topaz and Albite is excellent for Healing of any flavor.

“Okay, I named the Reality first, so you Lose”

…as in “[I did this] to stop a war, not start one” must have Learned The Art of War from a starving banker, or from a bigger Bully.  One named Roy maybe.

I’ve met several people, though, who also woke up on 1 January 2020 feeling quite Differently, and very Mellow (perhaps abetted by Mercury/Awareness Out of Bounds/Strong crossing Jupiter/Expansion).  So in spite of my Cynicism about Huperity I actually don’t advocate “Lending our Strength to that which we wish to be Free From.”

While Ascension requires knowing that We Are All One, it also requires Liberation from Attachment to what Other People do.

On 4 January (9pm PST) and earlier, the dwarf planet that symbolizes Manifestation (Makemake) is very Strong (Exactly Stationary in 7 Libra).  A friend of mine celebrated this by getting a rebate for a less-than-Perfect trip on an airplane – to the tune of $1600.  Maybe the rest of us weren’t Dreaming big enough.

On 6 January (1pm PST) and earlier, the asteroid that symbolizes Beginning New TimeLines (Klotho) is very Strong (Exactly Stationary in 5 Gemini).  Start a New TimeLine where you Imagine how you’ll Feel when you Receive a surprise, unexpectedly large, check in the mail.

Also on 6 January and earlier, our Held Emotions (the ones we’d “rather Die than Feel”) could Feel magnified (Jupiter Merges with the South Node).  Start a New TimeLine where you Imagine how you’ll Feel when you’ve Learned to meet each Held Emotion with Delight because you Realize that Bummers which we haven’t Learned to Love yet are running our Lives from the Unconscious.  Now that would Manifest as Abundance!

On 10 January (11:30 am PST) the Full Moon is a Partial (Penumbral) Lunar Eclipse.  We regard Eclipses to be about Illumination.  This one just happens to Light Up (Oppose) the Convention of Heavies (Stellium of Sun, Ceres, Saturn, Pluto, Mercury, and Chariklo in 22-25 Capricorn) that dominates 3-14 January.  Lunar events often act as Triggers for Bigger Events.  The Moon Opposes the Heavies one after the other from 2pm till 7pm 10 January.

On 10 January (5:30 pm PST) and earlier, the dwarf planet that symbolizes Secrets Long Hidden Being Revealed (Eris) is very Strong (Exactly Stationary in 24 Aries).  Since you’ve already Started that New TimeLine where you’ve Learned to meet each Held Emotion with Delight, you’ll meet any unpleasant Secrets with Excitement.  Well, what if you did.

I can always tell when the planet which symbolizes Soul (Uranus) is very Strong (Stationary) because I can easily Sleep when I’m Tired, but I don’t get Tired very much.  It gets Manic around here.  As long as I Realize what’s going on, it happens without the Depressive part.

Well, this planet that symbolizes Soul is also very Strong at 5:30 pm on 10 January, at the same time as the dwarf planet that symbolizes Revelation.  Yes, could also be Revelations.

Also on 10 January (3am PST), the asteroid that symbolizes Truth of the Heart (Aletheia) enters the Sign that means Just Fix It (Capricorn).  This could be a very Potent combination, Soul, Revelation, and Truth of the Heart all Lit Up at the same time.  I’ve been Feeling some of that already.  If you thought about it, you might be too.  You may not even have to think about it.

And then on 12 January (9am PST) and earlier, we get what many of us have been Dreading, the Merger (Conjunction at 23 Capricorn) of Saturn (Focusing on The Most Important Thing) and Pluto (Compulsion and Transformation).  If you find yourself Compelled toward something you’d rather Leave Behind, Transform it.  If we follow the Pattern of 2001, we may wait till the Ides of March to Feel the brunt of this Energy (Moon Begins Decade of being periodically Out of Bounds).

You might be very Surprised to find that Intention is all you need, especially since the Transformation of our Priorities (Saturn-Pluto) is Challenged by the Revealing of Long-Hidden Secrets (Square to the Station of Eris) and aided by Powerful Awareness (Mercury Out of Bounds Crossing Saturn-Pluto at 2am PST, before returning In Bounds at 7am PST).

It will be very important to be Mindful of Self-Doubt.  The dwarf planet that symbolizes Self-Confidence and Self-Doubt (Chariklo) sits just two Degrees past the Saturn-Pluto Merger, and it is also very Strong (Out of Bounds).  Our Awareness (Mercury) will be less Acute (no longer Out of Bounds) by 13 January (2am PST), when Awareness and Self-Doubt/Confidence Merge (Mercury Conjunct Chariklo) but our Self-Doubt/Confidence will still be very Strong (Chariklo Out of Bounds).

2020 The Year… 2

As we said, there are three snapshots of the 1 January 2020 chart, for the Year and the Decade, that merit closer examination.  Well, actually, there are four, but we’ve already done one, because that one’s essentially the same as the Vesta Station chart we looked at in Beliefs, Values, Identity at https://astrobuss.wordpress.com/2019/12/29/beliefs-values-identity/, the one where we’re adding a cup or two of Unconditional to our Self-Love brew.

In the second one, we’re figuring out how much Abundance we Deserve.

You caught that oxymoron right off, eh?

We don’t Deserve Abundance, it’s our Birthright.  Any Not-Deserving is our own Personal (Karmic) Limitation (dwarf planet Makemake/Manifestation, which is Exactly Stationary/Strong on 4 January at 9pm PST, makes a T-Square/Challenge across the Nodal Axis/Karma-and-Mission).  It’s not Out There, it’s In Here.  And like it or not, it’ll be In Our Face in 2020 and beyond (Sun/Essence and Jupiter/Expansion sit on the South Node/Karma – see below).

We can Wipe it Off by Noticing it, Owning it as Ours, Facing it, Enduring it, Becoming Present with it and Neutral about it, Embracing it, and Reframing it as a Skill we’re In Love with.  Hardest thing we’ll ever do, but it’s Exactly what we came here for, because we’ll only be Pretending that it’s ours so we can Own it.  It’s really a small piece of Mother Earth’s Karma, and by doing this we’ll be Letting It Go for Her.  Our Body is an Electromagnetic Energy Transformer, and the “Shit” we’ve adopted – our Held Emotions, the Ones we’d rather Die than Feel – as Our Own is Exactly what needs to be Transformed.

You’re Wanting the Planet to Ascend?  Well, it’s not something that Happens, it’s something that We Do, and this is Exactly how it’s done.  Unfortunately (you won’t like this), it explicitly includes the Abuse we’ve Endured (dwarf planet Nessus/Abuse makes a Trine Bridge/Easy-Way-to-Resolve-the-Challenge across the Makemake T-Square).  We aren’t talking Forgiveness, we’re talking about Recognizing that we Know How it Happens, and Practicing with our Boundaries until we have Complete Confidence that we know how to Safely Prevent it from Happening again.

It will be very important NOT to try to Understand HOW Abuse relates to Manifestation, as it will be Surprising, and if we try to Intellectualize it we’ll just freeze ourselves in our present situation around Abuse (Makemake and Nessus are connected by a Quincunx/Curiosity).  If we Understood the Spiritual Purpose of Abuse, we’d have Stopped it long ago.  The same goes for Privilege.  If we Believe we Know What We Want, then by all means we can PIAVA it.  But if we Believe we Know How to Get What We Want, we’ll probably be better off Letting that Go.  (PIAVA: https://astrobuss.wordpress.com/category/manifestation/piava-review/.)

As Alan Watts famously said, it’s harder to Let Go of our Good Karma than it is to Let Go of our Bad Karma.  So it also explicitly includes the Privilege we’ve Enjoyed (dwarf planet Nessus/Privilege is the other side of the Abuse Coin).  Dwarf planet Makemake, the Star of this Show, is about Manifestation, but it’s not about Avarice (except perhaps when it’s Afflicted).  Abundance means Having Enough To Share – and Sharing It.

Jupiter Initiates a new Cycle with the South Node on 6 January in 8 Cancer, “A group of Rabbits dressed in Huper clothes walk as if on parade” – Wow, weird.  Rabbits, whose primary mode of Self-Defense is their Speed, are often associated with Fear.  Another virtue is their ability to multiply rapidly.  They aren’t running here, they’re walking, and for some reason parodying (perhaps) Hupers. 

Faeries entertain themselves no end by imitating Hupers; this sounds familiar.  Is this a military exercise, where the Rabbits symbolize the Fear that hides beneath all the Bravado of Soldiers?

The Arcturians, through Marilyn ( https://bluedragonjournal.com/2016/10/09/marilyn-raffaele-the-arcturian-group/ ), talk about one of our favorite topics, Karma as Inertia…

Justice “often manifests though what the metaphysical world calls Karma, which is a balancing of energies and not the  punishment or revenge that many believe it to be.  Karma is the experiencing of energy formed and held through ignorance by an individual, and often carried over lifetimes until the person is spiritually ready to experience and learn from their creations.  Karma has been a part of every  souls’ learning journey–up to now.  Karma becomes irrelevant once you have evolved beyond that state of consciousness.   Let go of any concepts about karmic retribution you may still hold for yourself, for you are now able to clear, balance, and resolve issues on a higher level, through your attained consciousness of truth.”

My usual approach is to assume that the most difficult part of Letting Go of Karma (which we variously refer to as Patterns, Habits, Archetypes, Unconscious Beliefs, etc) is what we call Noticing.  In general, we don’t change an Unconscious Pattern till we bring it into Consciousness – till we Notice the original Pattern in ourselves.  In my experience, Changing a Pattern once we Notice it is a lot easier than Noticing for the first time.  And of course we can always PIAVA Changes.

However, as I’m reading the intriguing book by Gretchen Rubin called Better than Before, about Changing Habits, I realize (Notice?) that some of the distinctions and techniques she talks about could be very useful to anyone who has been trying to Consciously Change a Pattern and having difficulty making it stick.  For instance, she points out that for some, Abstinence works much better than Moderation, and vice versa for others (pp.136-143). 

She talks about the possible benefits of Scheduling, with the notion that once you’ve Scheduled Time for something, you’ve given yourself permission to NOT do it when it’s not Scheduled.  Johnny Cash’s To-Do List (p.86) included a Time slot for “Worry”, opening the possibility that the rest of his day could be spent more in the Present Moment.  In these max-Change, Ego-Deathful, high-Anxiety Times that trick could be very useful.

On her Lightning Bolt strategy (sudden spontaneous Change), she says it’s…

“A highly effective strategy, but unfortunately it’s practically impossible to invoke on command.  Unlike all the other strategies, it’s not a strategy we can decide to follow; it’s something that happens to us” (pp.122-3).  

With our knowledge of the Seventh Harmonic and the Mjolnir, we actually know when it’s likely to occur – such as right now – and we can precisely time and target our PIAVAs accordingly, if we can avoid Temptations to Judge.

The Jupiter (Expansion) Septile (Seventh Harmonic – Timing) Yod (Admonition to Pay Attention!), based off the Septile from Ceres (Sustainability or Making Permanent) to the Conjunction between Neptune (The Unconscious) and the South Node (Karmic Patterns), persists for several more days, and Jupiter is Initiating Mercury (mind, Communication), which should make it much easier to bring matters into Consciousness, with the caveat that Mercury is a Trickster that can easily stick us into Either/Or and Judgment.  

The 7 Libra Degree of the Jupiter-Mercury Initiation is a chuckle – “A woman feeding chickens and protecting them from the hawks: The need to face the antagonism of ‘powers of darkness’ as one attempts to feed the mind of as yet helpless and frightened apprentices.“

It would be timely to differentiate Judgment from Discretion.  In simple terms, Judgment separates the “good” from the “bad,” while Discretion Chooses what’s more preferred over what’s less preferred.  In situations where Unconscious Judgment is involved, the distinction can be fuzzy.  One way to explore Unconscious Judgment might be to ask yourself how comfortable you’d be with the less preferred if the more preferred wasn’t available.

This Week (8-14 May)

On Monday 9 May (5am PDT) Jupiter turned Direct and started its final ascent into its 23-June Initiation of the North Node, which signifies a big emphasis on our Mission in the Lifetime, and in the process on our Deepest Desires.  Our Mission is larger by many orders of magnitude than our Intellect can grasp, so our Deepest Desires represent a peepshow of our Mission, presented to our Ego in a form it can understand.  As Consciousness grows, our Deepest Desires metamorphose into our Mission.

The Jupiter-North Node Initiation is about A Volcanic Eruption, so on some levels it could be a bigger event than our 9-June Eris-Uranus Initiation.  Or at least, a more Conscious event.  Eris-Uranus will blow the gaskets off of the Masks that we use to pretend that we have socially redeeming value in spite of our Original Sins – which of course are nothing but programmed Self-Judgments.  If we have any Masks left after 2012-15.  At the very least we have to get Honest with ourself about our Deepest Desires and their addictive qualities, even if they’re not ready to dance on the World Stage.  You could call them our Hungry Ghosts.  Addiction can prevent metamorphosis.

We didn’t mention in our New Moon post that the New Moon forms a Major Tricolor with Stationary Jupiter/North Node and Saturn: Jupiter/NN-Square-Saturn-Quincunx-NewMoon-Trine-Jupiter/NN.  Which is to say that you can effectively address any Conflicts over how to Both Expand and Focus by Wondering what’s being Reborn here.

On 13 May we have an interesting Conjunction between two asteroids, Aletheia and Veritas – respectively Greek and Latin for Truth.  The Conjunction is Unx (one Sign) from the asteroid Mnemosyne – Memory.  The Unx is about

• Breaking Patterns,
• Letting Go of Karma,
• Changing Habits, and
• Untangling ourself from Archetypes.  

So this week is likely to have a lot of information for us about how our June will unfold.  

Watch your Thoughts and Emotions closely.  We all have Patterns of quickly shifting our Attention away from issues we don’t like to contemplate.  Many of these Patterns operate below the level of Consciousness, but even some of those may surface here.  If you catch yourself shifting your Attention away from your Fears, after you do your Cancel, Neutralize, Upgrade, stop and examine the Fear.  You may have access this week to its roots, and if you can pull out the roots, the weed can’t regrow, as of course it will if you just keep cutting it off at ground level.

Definitely Tap out the Fears you become Conscious of, but with a twist this week.  Instead of “Even though I’m afraid of that I deeply and completely Love and Accept Myself,” use “Even though I don’t know why I’m afraid of that I deeply and completely Love and Accept Myself.”  Put what you do know about the Fear in place of “that.”  Confusion is good, it’s the first stage of Growth.  Be Curious about it.

Jupiter will now cross for the third time the Pisces through Gemini Duads of Virgo – the last half of the Capricorn Decanate and the first half of the Taurus Decanate.  As Jupiter dismantles our Olde Ego (that’s what Virgo does for a Living), it goes through the process of

1. Looking to see what’s socially unacceptable (Libra),
2. Rooting out why we do that (Scorpio),
3. Letting Go of that (Sagittarius),
4. Replacing it with something more useful (Capricorn),
5. Testing it to see how it flies socially (Aquarius),
6. Rueing our Inadequacy (Pisces), 
7. Surrendering Control (Aries),
8. Observing what evolves (Taurus),
9. Adapting it to our Liking (Gemini),
10. Nurturing it (Cancer), and finally,
11. Wearing it as our New Ego (Leo).

“In the late seventies I was a tool and process engineer at Chrysler Corporation when, almost overnight, all kinds of strange and uncontrolled perceptual changes began happening to me.  These changes were the start of over two long years of valiant struggle with both my body and my mind, while I was certain that I was going slowly insane.  Most of the uncontrolled perceptions coiuld only be called psychic experiences, but I had never had those kinds of perceptions before, not did I know of anyone else who might have had such unusual experiences.  

“I was not at all familiar with concepts such as clairvoyance or clairaudience, nor did I know anyone who was.  I had neither read nor heard of anyone who claimed to be out of the body, or in two places at once.  I did not believe in reincarnation, mostly because I didn’t know anything about it beyond what the word suggested.  In addition, communication had always been something that happened between me and other people who were alive and right in front of me, or by telephone, perhaps by letter.

We’re moving into the last several days of the Aim Higher and Upper Limits Province (in Linear Time) that we talked about recently, as the Jupiter-North Node Quintile Yod fades.  It’s being replaced by the New Moon and Total Solar Eclipse of 8 March, 2016.  The Totality will be visible only if you’re in the mid-Pacific or Makulu or Sulawesi or Kalimantan or southern Sumatra.  That’s Borneo and Celebes to us oldsters – Celebes is where the Boogey Man lives, literally.  If you aren’t familiar with the Boogey Man, you can read about him in Tom Perkins’s Confessions of an Economic Hit Man, or Ursula Leguin’s five-book Earthsea Triology – both of which you need to read anyway, if you haven’t already.

In other words, there’s likely to be a fairly heavy four weeks ahead of us.  Let’s start with the astrology…

The Saturn-Chaos Opposition is the central axis of the Eclipse Chart.

The Most Important Thing during the next four weeks will be our Unlimited Potential.  In that sense, our Aim Higher suggestions will be more important than ever.  

Based on this information alone, what I’d suggest is that whatever ill befalls us – if any, Asking “I Wonder what Amazing Adventures will Open Up for me as a result of this Clearing” is probably our best recourse.  We want to be careful to Change the Subject after this Query, rather than trying to look for an Answer, because any Answer we come up with intellectually will be an extrapolation of our Limiting Beliefs, won’t be able to encompass the Unlimited Potential we’re moving into, and as a result will only keep us tethered to our current treadmill.  

A crazy-seeming Intuition would be a more reliable guide, but if you get one, take it with a sense of humor, as the Olde Mind can so easily make a house of cards out of it, Fantasizing on our obsolete Perceptions.  Take notes, then Change the Subject again.  Our Identities will be turned upside down in June, and we want to wait till we get past that shakeup before we start making conclusions about our individual and collective Futures.

The June Jupiter-North Node Initiation will be minor compared to the Eris-Uranus Initiation that will follow.  Eris-Uranus will bring us face to face with the elements of our True Self that we haven’t yet incorporated into our Conscious Ego.

The Saturn-Chaos Opposition is one pole of the Grand Cross.  The Opposition between the Eclipse and Jupiter forms the other pole.  The Eclipse adjoins the South Node and Chiron, and the North Node adjoins Jupiter.

By now any regular reader will be very familiar with the notion that Chiron represents Despair and Miracles, and that we convert Despair and Discouragement into Miracles by shifting from “I Am in Despair” to “I Feel Despairing,” then reaching back and Embracing our Despairing self, “You poor Sweetheart, you’re really Feeling Discouraged, aren’t you.”   That shifts our Identity from being In Despair to being In Compassion.  If we can Change the Subject after that, we Open ourself to Miracles, in the sense that our Future is very likely to contain Gifts that were not within the realm of Possibility when we were in Despair.

If we aren’t successful at Changing the Subject, we Tap it Out – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QzVd6Ww0as4 – then we circle back and Empathize with our Discouragement again.  It’s not how many times we fall down, it’s how many times we get up.  If we’ve been repeating a Pattern all our Life – which probably means many Lifetimes before that as well – then we can hardly expect to Change it with a few “reps,” though, since Karma is Dead, we’ll be surprised at how quickly we can Let Go of a Pattern that has been sabotaging us forever.

And the South Node, what does that symbolize?  None other than Patterns we’ve probably been practicing for many Lifetimes before this one, Patterns that may be self-sabotaging.  Like Kim D’Eramo says, there are no positive or negative Emotions, there are only positive and negative reactions to Emotions.  In the same vein, there are no positive or negative Patterns, there are only Patterns we repeat mindlessly and Patterns over which we have the Power to Choose to use when appropriate to the situation, and the Power to Choose not to use when it’s not appropriate – Archetypes that have us in their Spell, and Archetypes we can manipulate Consciously.  There are no negative Archetypes, only Archetypes used Unconsciously.  Breathing is an Archetype.

The bane of self-sabotage is Consciousness.  If we’re Conscious that a Pattern is repeating, we have the option to Choose an alternative.  The sooner we Notice that we’re about to do that again, the easier it is to stop.  If we add the step of Congratulating ourself for Noticing rather than Condemning ourself for repeating the Pattern, we accelerate the Change process, even if we’ve already repeated the Pattern.  We create a Virtuous Cycle – Repeat, Repeat, Notice, Repeat, Congratulate, Notice, Congratulate, Choose.  It gets easier and easier.

My Guides showed me this trick when Uranus was crossing my Neptune.  I was just starting to learn astrology.  Neptune, the Undifferentiated Sea of the Unconscious, and Uranus, the Soul’s Urge.

The worst kind of Despair is Unconscious Despair – when we don’t even consider the Possibility that something might exist – such as our Deepest Desires, or Elves – because we’ve integrated our Limiting Beliefs so well that they define our “Reality.”  We’ve encountered our Limiting Beliefs so often, and been Discouraged by their apparent impermeability, that we’ve come to accept them as just the way things are, just another “Law of Nature.”  Dwarf Planet Chaos teaches us that Possibility is Limited only by our Imagination.

If you interpret that in the most Reductionist sense, you could think, Sure, but that’s not Reality, it’s Imaginary.  So what if it’s “only” Imagination.  If we can Imagine having What we Want, we can Feel it, and if we can Feel it, we can Become it – that’s just the Chironean Empathy process in reverse.  If we Become it, we Are it, we have arrived.  Its the difference between Greed and Abundance.  Abundance is Having Enough to Share.  Stepping out of skepticism, there is ample research to show that if we can Imagine it and Feel it, and it Motivates us enough, we can also Manifest it into Hardcopy Reality, if Abundance isn’t enough for us yet.

With Jupiter on the North Node, our Deepest Desires are brightly Illuminated, even exaggerated.  The more we Let Go of our Held Emotions and Limiting Beliefs, the closer our Deepest Desires approximate our Mission for the Lifetime.  You may have noticed that when you fulfill a Deep Desire, the fulfillment becomes hollow rather rapidly, and gets replaced by another Deep Desire – if you’re lucky enough to avoid the span of Discouragement and Lackawanna that often resides between them.  That’s because Desire is not a destination, but a road sign.  Your Mission for the Lifetime always hides behind it.  This creates Pain for some.

The Saturn-Chaos Opposition is also the central axis of the Kite that rides the Grand Trine between Chaos, Pallas, and Lilith-Haumea.  

Haumea Initiates Lilith on 19 March, “A Butterfly with a third Wing on its left side,” which Rudhyar interprets as “The ability to develop new modes of response to basic Life situations” – more Chironean Breakthroughs.  It’s a curious “Coincidence” that the Butterfly’s third Wing is on the Yin side, when the Initiate is Lilith, our symbol of Yindependence and Self-Sovereignty.  Haumea, of course, represents Rebirth.  

Rebirth of the Feminine.  Earth First! used to pass out very low-quality bumper stickers, low quality because that made them difficult to remove.  You could surreptitiously paste them onto megatruck bumpers on wilderness portals.  They said, “With a pecker as small as mine, you need a huge powerwagon like this.  Big hands or not.  You didn’t want to get caught.

While we read Pallas as Boundaries, remember that negation is not a property of Unconscious Reality, which is to say, not a property of non-Egoic Reality.  In other words, we can read Pallas in our Kite as Letting Go of our Boundaries with Unlimited Potential and the Rebirth of Self-Sovereignty.  And of course our Saturn Kite represents Grace aplenty, so we can read the Kite as…

This will be a particularly Easy time to Gracefully Let Go of Limiting Beliefs that Separate us from a whole new Identity of Healthy Egoic Control over our Relationship to Unlimited Possibility, and to Potentiate Futures that we would Consciously Choose to Experience.  Yes, while Mindful of our Upper Limits – but in a particularly auspicious time to Transcend our Upper Limits.  Our Noticing, as we described above, may be critical in differentiating Fear of Surrendering to the threat of Ego Annihilation, from Realization that the threat was not a hungry Tiger at all, but a painting on tissue paper of a hungry Tiger, requiring more Intention than Exertion to walk through.

As we’ve often said, the “best kind of chart to have,” from the Perspective of Doingness, is a chart with both a Grand Cross and a Grand Trine.  The Grand Trine provides a priori Skill and “Luck,” while the Grand Cross provides Motivation and Skill at multitasking.  We achieve the most by starting with our best native Skills and practicing them as if we were talentless.  This is true no matter how we define “achieve.”  It’s especially auspicious if the Grand Cross and Grand Trine share a corner.  Here the Grand Trine is expanded into a Kite, and it shares its central axis with one of the arms of the Grand Cross – particularly auspicious.

They say, “Be careful what you Ask for” because no matter how carefully and exhaustively you Ask, you’re still likely to trigger unintended consequences.  And when we Ask for anything, unless we’re right on the verge of Manifesting it anyway, the first thing the Universe will provide is information about why we haven’t been Manifesting it all along.  That’s why we cycle around to Paying Attention after we Change the Subject when we PIAVA, so we can discover what else needs to be Let Go of or Asked for.

We all have Effortless Manifestation of something.  If you’ve never spent two days without Food, Fasting excepted, then you Effortlessly Manifest Food.  If you’ve never spent two days without Freedom, then you Effortlessly Manifest Freedom.  If you’ve never gone two days without Pain, then you Effortlessly Manifest Pain.  What are your Deepest Desires?  Have you ever met anyone who never seems to be without the very thing that you Want so much?  If anyone has ever Manifested it, that’s a demonstration that it’s not Reality that lacks What you Want, it’s your Limiting Beliefs that constrain your picture of Possible Realities.

These are the Main Effects.  There are a lot of Embellishments, which we’ll take up tomorrow.

Hopi New Moon

The 8 February New Moon Opposes our new favorite asteroid Hopi, and continues for the next several weeks the Energy we talked about in https://astrobuss.wordpress.com/2016/02/04/my-new-favorite-roid/ – namely “What all this means, is that any projects we started last week, or start in February, will fly like a rocket!  Full of Motivation, full of Love, full of Ease and Grace, and full of natural Effortless Alignment.“

I still remember 1980 – when Hopi was Discovered – vividly; the Hopi Discovery chart was the chart we all lived under in June 1980.  My Life was totally transformed.  I did things that still amaze me, far exceeding my normal Limits.  I was for more Optimistic, Proactive, Extroverted, Willing to take big Risks, Curious, and Innovative than before or since.  I left a steady job at a prestigious University, and started the business that still today allows me the free time to provide this Seva to anyone willing to read it.

In 1980 it was not about overcoming Fear; it was about Feeling Safe enough to break free of traditional Limits Effortlessly.  Sedna is still Stationary, so we may have an additional opportunity here to Love our Karmic Fear-Limits into becoming our greatest Allies, adding a booster to our rocket.  This isn’t about Ego, it’s about Fun.  Exploring new Territory, Doing things you’ve never done, making yourself Available and Allowing yourself to be Open to whatever Shows Up.  

It may not provide the Recognition and External Validation we’ve been craving all of our Lives because that Unconditional Love Birthright of ours was Denied to us as infants.  But it’s not about Braving Up and Faking it till we Make it, either.  It’s about Feeling Safe enough that we can put ourselves out there in public without needing the External Validation, because we’re just Exploring. Angels Fly because they take themselves Lightly.

The New Moon Grand Sextile spans 15-20 Degrees of the Yang (Air and Fire) Signs – not quite close enough to make it Feel like we’ve arrived in “Real” Time Heaven, but plenty close to light a big Fire under any projects (or people) born under it.  And of course any New Moon chart is the template for the four weeks that follow it.  Conjunctions expand the hot zone to 25 or so degrees.  The Grand Sextile includes…

• The New Moon at 20 Aquarius, “A large white Dove bearing a message” – which in itself is pretty hot.
• Asteroid Hopi at 16 of Leo, joined again by asteroids Arachne at 19, and Pandora and Sappho at 21 Leo.
• Saturn at 15 Sagittarius.  Saturn is also the focus of a T-Square across the Nodal Opposition, which we’ll talk about soon.  If we stretch we can include dwarf planet Ixion at 26 Sagittarius, which we may as well do, to honor their upcoming Initiation.  Ixion Initiating Saturn after all implies that The Most Important Thing is Embracing our Abandoned Genius.  It occurs on the Ides of next February at 26 Sagittarius, “A flag bearer in a battle.”  We’re in the dregs of the current Cycle, Initiated 1 November 1984 at 18 Scorpio, “A path through woods brilliant with multicolored splendor.“
• Dwarf planet Chaos at 19 Gemini.  Chaos implies Unlimited Potential, not Disorder, though of course it may appear to be Disorder to the Eye that is blind to the Potential.  Chaos is also the focus of a Diamond Star, but we’ll talk about that in a minute.
• Vesta-Uranus (recently Initiated) at 18-19 Aries, stretching to 23 Aries if we include the impending Eris-Uranus Initiation, which occurs in early June 2016 at 24 Aries, “Blown inward by the Wind, the curtains of an open window take the shape of a Cornucopia.”  Eris Initiating Uranus means that we will no longer be able to Deny the Soul’s impulse.  The current Eris-Uranus Cycle, in its dotage, Initiated in April 1927 at 2 Aries, “A Comedian reveals Human Nature.” 
• Lilith at 19 Libra, streching to 25 Libra if we include Haumea.  The impending Haumea-Lilith Initiation occurs March 28 at 24 Libra, “A Butterfly with a third wing on its left side.“

The Grand Cross in the Hopi New Moon chart is Mutable, connecting the Saturn-Chaos Sagittarius-Gemini Opposition with the Nodal Opposition (with Jupiter on the North Node and Chiron on the South Node) at 20-24 of Virgo-Pisces.  This is the core of the chart, and implies that The Most Important Thing here is to Pay Attention to the Unlimited Potential available, as it will Expand us into our Deepest Desires and Allow us to Witness and Lovingly Embrace our former Limits, thereby Recovering the Hidden Skills which are necessary for us to Complete our Mission in the Lifetime.  This is worth repeating…

The core of the Hopi New Moon chart is that The Most Important Thing here is to Pay Attention to the Unlimited Potential available, as it will Transform and Expand us into our Deepest Desires and Allow us to Witness and Lovingly Embrace our former Limits, thereby Recovering the Hidden Skills which are necessary for us to Complete our Mission in the Lifetime.  In other words, Shoot for the Moon!

This introduces two other impending Initiations – North Node-Jupiter and Chiron-South Node.  The South Node crosses Chiron on 18 March at 22 Pisces, “A prophet carry tablets of the New Law is walking down the slopes of Mount Sinai.”  That’s pretty heavy.  Jupiter crosses the North Node on 24 June at 17 Virgo, “A Volcanic eruption,” which Rudhyar explicates as “The explosive energy of long-repressed contents of the [Un]conscious.”  

Rudhyar says [Sub], but we know better, though I’m sure for some folks [Sub] will be more appropriate.  As a reminder, the Subconscious is Taurean Freud’s Dungeon where  we’ve stuffed all manner of disgusting krap, while the Unconscious is Leonine Jung’s Treasury where the Dragon guards the Jewels that will complete our Wholeness – what we call our Hidden Skills, hard-won Talents from “previous” Lives that we Deny because they’re tied to our Held or Frozen Emotions, aka our South Node.  Alternately, you could see it as the collapse of the Veil that separates us from complementary Parallel Lives.

With thanks to a reader for the introduction, here’s an interesting commentary on “long-repressed Unconscious contents,” from Genia Haddon’s Body Metaphors (p.18)…

“Where a quadrant [Masculine Yang, Feminine Yin, Feminine Yang, or Masculine Yin] is largely undeveloped, repressed, or unconscious in its functioning, abrupt reversals between under- and over-energizing of that mode are likely.  This is because rejected aspects of human nature do not go away.  

“On the contrary, when banished from conscious inclusion, they continue to operate in the larger, nonconscious psyche, secretly gathering to themselves life energy (libido).  Periodically, this energy builds to the point of discharge, temporarily overwhelming the conscious personality with the rejected content, until it again falls into the background of the psyche.”

Having a Volcano, we have to ask where 2007 OR10 sits, since that’s its signature.  It’s still tightly Conjunct Nessus and Ceres (recall they co-Initiated on 4 February), and four Degrees away from Neptune (more recent and impending Initiations!) on one corner of a tight Asbolus T-Square, Opposite Orcus.  Which tells us that Our Hidden Skills will be accessible to our Intuition.  Also worth repeating…

Those very Hidden Skills will be accessible through our Intuition.  Trust it this month, even when it seems silly or stupid.  If it seems dangerous, Cancel-Neutralize-Upgrade or Tap Out or Theta-Heal your trepidation, PIAVA complete Safety, and proceed cautiously.

Theta-Healing recommends itself, because after we close our eyes and roll them up, do our “God/Goddess, Creator of All That Is, I Command that [our list of requests complete with all the adjectives and adverbs desired]” and our “Thank you, God/Goddess, It Is Done, It Is Done, It Is Done” then we can pause and add “Show me,” and we may or may not see a vision of Grace, or feel an Emotional snapshot of what else we need to add on the next round.  

For instance, we might Ask to “Let Go of All Inappropriate and non-Present-Moment Fear, Lovingly, Gently, Rapidly, and Completely, while staying Present for any Real dangers” and then we might be shown that some Appropriate Present-Moment Fear or Real danger remains.  Then we would have to go back in and Command that [What we Wanted] “be accomplished in Complete Safety” or the like, then see or feel what happens when we Ask, “Show me.”

A second indication reinforces the Availability of our Held Emotions and Hidden Skills – the Eris-Vesta Initiation on 18 February in 23 Aries, “A pregnant Woman in light summer dress,” implying that whatever’s still Hidden will be lightly covered!

In the New Moon chart a second would-be Yin Grand Sextile has only four Rays – Jupiter-North Node at 22-24 Virgo, Mars-Juno at 14-19 Scorpio, Pluto-Venus-Mercury at 17-24 Capricorn, and Chiron-South Node at 20-24 Pisces – though our Stationary Sedna sits at 25 Taurus, leaving only Cancer as a potential Vacancy.  This is the same span of Degrees as the full Grand Sextile, though the Sensitivity is not close enough to call it a Grand Unx.

A Grand Unx is twelve planets equally spaced around the Zodiac.

What is within Orb, in addition to the Grand Cross, are two Diamond Stars – Venus-Pluto, and Mars-Juno.  And three of the four corners (all but Saturn) of the Grand Cross are Diamond Stars.  We’ll get to these, and the Neptune Initiations, in our next installment.

As the Nodes (with Jupiter on the North Node) are backing into a Grand Cross with the dwarf planets Chaos and Ixion, and Neptune Opposes the dwarf planet Orcus, on 13 January, a few days hence.

A Grand Cross is formed when four planets are equally spaced around the Zodiac.  It’s like four T-Squares (Mastery through Challenge), except it’s Balanced, so it ends up being “just” Busy – lots of little Fires to put out, so we don’t have the luxury or the time to dwell on how imperfect it all Feels, like we do with a T-Square.  We’re so Busy multitasking that we get to Feel some degree of temporary Satisfaction from finding a series of adequate solutions that suffice for the short term.

The Nodes of course indicate what we’re doing here; the South Node where we came from, and the North Node where we’d like to go.  Of course All There Is Is Now, so the Nodes flip a lot…

Turns out we need to Let Go of the Held Emotions or Past-Life PTSD that our South Node represents, in order to Recover the Past Life Skills that are necessary to resolve the issues that stand between us and our destination, and realize our Mission for the Lifetime.

And as our CAO (Chief Asteroid Officer) points out, the asteroid Karma (the Inertia Created by Our Held Emotions) is approaching the dwarf planet Eris (Revelation of What’s Being Denied), crossing it on 18 January.  However, this is a Confidence-Builder crossing.  The Can-Opener occurred 8 October 2015, and the Exposition 30 December.

With Jupiter on the North Node, we’re hearing a Siren Song from our Mission…  

Our intuitive grasp of our “Real” Mission changes as we raise our Frequency to encompass more of the Universe.  Seeing as we do through a glass darkly, it really is a Siren Song that we’re hearing, tempting us to toss ourself into the morass of our Current Desires, rather than lose our current Ego in prayer that we may Embrace more of its True Meaning.

Which dilemma is also being lit up by an impending Initiation of Mars (Self-Assertion) by Juno (the Edges of Consciousness) that’s complete on 24 January.  

The dwarf planet Chaos represents Unlimited Potential – it’s the Zero Point Field or “Vacuum” that existed before Zeus and the Patriarchy “Created” “Order.”  In the Quantum World, “Reality” is indeterminate till it’s not.  (Or as they say, indeterminate till it’s Witnessed, but that’s incredibly anthropomorphic.)  Chaos is what you haven’t Manifested yet.

Ironically, the Greek version of Vesta was the Goddess of the Hearth, Hestia, and the ancient Greeks toasted Hestia before they toasted Zeus, and after they toasted Zeus.  They were smart enough to honor what really mattered while propping up the male Ego.  Vesta – Unconscious Belief – guards the Edges of Chaos, to keep too many Demons and Daemons and Diamonds from breaking through the Veil.  

This week’s Neptune-Orcas Opposition chart includes a Vesta Yod based on the Sextile between Mars-Juno and Orcas.

The dwarf planet Ixion represents our Pathological Genius.  Ixion was the male figure that ignored Zeus’s Rules of Order, and pursued his Desires without thought of Consequences.  Ixion is our feral unprogrammed Inner Child.  

Underneath our Programming we are all Mozarts and Einsteins and Jeannes d’Arc and Queen Victorias – we have an irrepressible Destiny that was not crushed by our Programming, only driven into the Unconscious.  Our Programming relegated our Genius to the realm of the Pathological – we were Punished and Shamed for it.  

No Blame here; this is how Consciousness grows.  As we Create Security we also Create boredom, so we seek the Light by venturing forth into the Wilderness.  Soon we’re Lost, and have to find our way back “Home.”  Then we rinse and repeat.  On the scale of a Lifetime, our Programmers are chosen to set up ways for us to get Lost that will cause us eventually to remember our Mission.  We are each puzzle pieces in a multibillion-piece puzzle, and like one of Gollum’s riddles, the puzzle will be “solved” when we all Embrace our Pathological Genii.

Putting all this together, we can expect that for most of January we’ll be rushing about putting out Karmic Fires.  If these take the form of rescuing anyone from their Pain, don’t waste the Mirror.  External hardcopy “Reality” is no different from our Dreams.  It all has something to do with what we’re bringing into Consciousness, though seldom in a straightforward manner.  

As I’ve done many times, I recommend Eugene Gendlin’s excellent book, Let Your Body Interpret Your Dreams.  It’s a collection of clever techniques for coaxing Meaning from your Dreams non-intellectually, and can very productively be used to coax Meaning from your daily adventures in the “Real” Hologram as well.  As an example, he recommends avoiding polarity flip-flops – when you Decide that a Change is necessary, don’t jump from Black to White; instead, shift to a 90%-saturated grey.  Our Symbols are road signs, not airports.

There are directions in our Life that have Unlimited Potential, and Embracing – Witnessing – our Shame and Fear of Punishment, can Create major leaps in that direction.  “You poor Sweetheart, they really Shamed you for that, didn’t they.”  By noticing that we’re in Shame or Fear and Lovingly Witnessing it, we stop being Shame or Fear, and instead become Compassion.

So our January will include glimpses of the Unlimited – like a billion-dollar lottery.  Then we’ll recall our humdrum daily life and how seldom we’ve Created real Miracles, dismiss the Dream, and fade back into worrying about the mortgage.  Then our Desires will rise up, and we’ll Fantasize doing what will Really make us come Alive, till our Held Emotions make us realize how incredibly uncomfortable we’d be if we actually came close to indulging that Fantasy.  

This is January’s Grand Cross.  We’re there already, aren’t we.  Celebrate it!  Embrace each glimpse of the Unlimited.  PIAVA it!  Make it BIG.  If we all had to split that lottery, we’d still have more money than we’ve ever dreamed of having.  We could all win!  

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.  Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.  It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.  We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?  Actually, who are you not to be?  You are a child of God.  Your playing small does not serve the world.

Notice when you return to worrying about the mortgage, or cancer, or whether Aunt Charlene was insulted, or anything else, Cancel-Neutralize-Upgrade, and Tap it out.  Tap on it till you’re Neutral about it.  

When your Forbidden Desire wells up, Celebrate the Excitement trapped in it.  A secret to Manifesting anything is to practice having the Feeling in your Body, that you’ll have when you Manifest it.  That’s what you really want!  You’ll get bored with a red Lamborghini, or scared by a trip around the World; you’ll never be bored or scared by Excitement.  Get Conscious of the Discomfort you’d feel if your Fantasy Materialized.  “You poor Sweetheart, you’d really Feel uncomfortable, wouldn’t you.  Do you want to talk about it?”  Ask yourself how old you are.

Neptune represents everything bigger than our Individual Soul – the Collective Culture, and its many Shadows.  When we try to look at Neptune through Material eyes, the result is Confusion – which of course is the first stage of Growth in Consciousness.  Shifting to Spiritual eyes, we find Clarity.  Unfinished Business, and all of our Emotional Baggage around it.

Orcus is the Punisher of Broken Oaths.  

Your Held Emotions are Held by vows never to put yourself into that position again.  As with Ixion, where you may have Amends to make over Unintended Consequences of Impulsive Actions, with Orcus you may have Yangtegrity Contracts that need to be Renegotiated.  If your counterparties are long since dead or otherwise gone from your Life, no worries.  If you can feel the Weight of the Contract, you can feel the counterparty, and you can Renegotiate with them exactly where they are in your “mind’s eye” or your bellyvision.

This Renegotiation might take the form of noticing the cable or garden hose that connects you with them in the Energy Realm.  It’s connected to your belly by a fishhook.  Gently twist it out with one hand, then use your other hand to seal the wound with Golden Light.  With grace, hand the hook and the cable back to your counterparty.  If they accept it with equal Grace, you’re Golden, though you don’t want to turn your back until they withdraw.  Make a note to scan your Body in a few days to make sure the cable hasn’t been replaced while you weren’t looking.  If so, rinse and repeat.

If they don’t accept it Gracefully, you may need to take more decisive Action.  Enlist the aid of a Carnivore, then reach out with your imaginary Bowie Knife, slice their end of the cable, and feed the cable to your helper.  An Alligator works great for this purpose.  Give your new friend the assignment to stand guard here, and eat any new attempts to re-cable you.  They may also plead for Mercy; don’t buy it, it’s a ploy.  You want your Energetic Contracts to be Equal-to-Equal.  In these realms, keep your spine straight and your shoulders lifted.  There can be no hindrance to your Energetic Self-Sovereignty.

So a Challenging Neptune-Orcus Angle would be about renegotiating our Social Contracts.

Our Social Contracts stretch a lot farther than we usually imagine.  For instance, if we’re chronically underfunded, we have a Social Contract to Give Away too much of what we need to Survive.  If our Relationships don’t Delight us, then we have a Social Contract of Mistrust or Unworthiness.  When we Renegotiate our Contracts, our counterparties may not be individuals, but Archetypes.  You may need to Renegotiate with Slavery, or Gender Inequality.

There’s an excellent reason why Primary Cultures personified their “Gods.”  If you personify an Archetype, you can Negotiate with it one-on-one.  You can shrink it from a Global Monolith to a Cocker Spaniel.  What if Gender Inequality was a Hamster, and Slavery was a Squirrel; you can personify them however you like, as long as your Vigilance prevents them from nesting in your petticoats.  Use your Mirror and Cable techniques till you stand Tall and Clear and Powerful Beyond Measure, and we can Enjoy the billion-dollar lottery payout together.
