Let’s talk about the “Fingers of God” in the Full-Moon chart next. There are four of them. In general, Fingers of God are admonitions to “Pay Attention to These!” namely, the planets at the apices (or apexes) of the green wedges in the chart. You know that we make a Big Deal about Wonder – Curiosity without a Compulsion to view it as a puzzle needing a solution. The green lines in our charts symbolize Wonder and Curiosity.
When two of these green lines converge into a wedge, that makes a Finger of God. Each green line connects planets that are five twelfths of the way ’round the Zodiac from one another. The Twelfth Harmonic is about Pattern-Breaking, and the Fifth Harmonic is about Learning. So Five Twelfths is about Learning to Break Patterns – Learning to Liberate ourself from Limitations, Archetypes, Karma, Blockages, Resistance to Held Emotions and Forbidden Genii, and all manner of Self-Sabotage.
If we approach Learning with the “Left Brain” using our Dynamic or Masculine Creativity, we usually seek an Answer to our (intellectual) Curiosity. While this can break us out of places where we’re Stuck, it doesn’t often Transport us to entirely new ways of seeing the World. It’s great for Incremental Progress, not as Powerful for Startling Innovations. If on the other hand we use our Magnetic or Feminine Creativity, we seek Wonder. If we then succeed in Changing the Subject, we may well be subsequently Graced with Intuitions and Insights that Expand our Consciousness.
We’ve already talked about the foci of three of the Fingers of God…
- The Moon, which is not only a Supermoon Full Moon, but Authentic Change is emphasized in many different ways in this chart.
- Aletheia-Mnemosyne, facing the Truth of the Memories that arise in the context of the Ego Deaths (Nemesis) we’re likely to encounter as we break through the blizzard of deep Limitations which are likely to move more Clearly into our Consciousness (the Jupiter-Vesta-Hopi-Karma Stellium in Scorpio).
- Neptune-Lachesis (Realizing that We Have the Power to Transform our “Fate”), which, Opposing Orcus (Pattern-Breaking), forms the perpendicular in the Grand Cross (Big Motivation) with the Full Moon itself.
Which leaves the fourth Finger of God, which points at the only corner of the Full-Moon chart that we haven’t mentioned at all so far. This is the approaching Initiation of Sappho (Self-Love) by Chariklo (Self-Confidence). We mentioned earlier (https://astrobuss.wordpress.com/2017/11/16/nightmares-of-abuse-et-al/) the Gauntlet of Initiations that Sappho has been undergoing. The Sappho-Chariklo Initiation will be Complete 10 December (12am PST) in 13 Capricorn, “A fire worshiper meditates on the ultimate reality of existence.”
That’s pretty intense. Do we Love ourself enough to be Unconditional about our Self-Confidence? Are we Confident enough in our Self-Love that we can make it Unconditional? That’s what the 3½-year Sappho-Chariklo Cycle is about. We’re certainly all Fire (Spirit) Worshipers, right? So we will definitely enjoy Meditating on the Ultimate Reality of Existence for the next 3½ years, won’t we. And we know that the Ultimate Reality of Existence is Unconditional Self-Love, don’t we.
