And then described how their Life has been bothered by bureaucratic snafus recently. 

Where we are Looking has a lot to do with how we Perceive Reality.  Consider the contrast between Looking at the Fear Propaganda on TV in the USofA, or Looking at, for example, http://www.onenessofall.com/newest.html or http://danielscranton.com/ .  Not to imply that the Arcturians have any kind of monopoly on Relevance to what’s happening on the Planet.  You might resonate more to the Pleiadeans or https://lightquest-intl.com/ or http://www.starwars.com/games-apps .

Vedic astrology has a tendency to Believe it does have a monopoly on Truth.  If it provides Perspective that is useful to you, then, as with any Perspective, by all means use it.  The more Lenses we have to see the World through, the closer we are to actually participating in Reality rather than our own Projections.  When any Perspective strikes Fear, though, we need to Tap Out the Fear before we use the Perspective.  If a Perspective is good for nothing more than bringing Unconscious Fear into Consciousness where you can Love it to Death, then it’s a very Powerful Perspective for you.  Alternatively, with a technique like Theta Healing, where the Outcome is immediately available to us, we can modify our Command until we find one that works, or alternate Theta and Tapping.

The root of the monopoly tendency in Vedic astrology is Religious Politics.  Simply put, if it’s Either/Or it’s Political.  If it’s Both/And, it’s Spiritual.  We make no claim that this is an absolute Truth, but we suggest strongly that it’s a very Reliable First Approximation and a very Useful Perspective.  Vedic astrology supported Political Hinduism, as distinct from Esoteric Hinduism.  Political Hinduism supported ongoing Abuse of the Dalit or Harijan caste just as Political Christianity supported ongoing Slavery and Abuse of Primary Cultures everywhere they were encountered.  Certainty is a Tool of Political Agendas.

We look at it this way.  Hinduism is frequently accused of promoting Fatalism, and Political Hinduism certainly appears to.  As with most Religions, I don’t believe that Esoteric Hinduism does promote Fatalism.  Fate and Free Will are usually seen as an Either/Or, so as with any Duality, we Know that this is a 3D Veil attempting to obscure the Both/And, Multifarious and Unitary Reality on the Other Side.

The difference between Fate and Free Will is that our Fate is what befalls us when we’re Captives of the Karmic and Generational and Social Archetypes that we usually refer to as our Limiting Beliefs.  Free Will is what we Obtain when we step outside of the Limited Reality of the these Archetypes.  Even the “Laws” of Physics are simply Archetypes, Projections of the Ego’s need for Stasis and the mind’s need for the Illusion of Understanding.  If you’ve ever had a Wannabe Guru Manifest in your bedroom in a pillar of shimmering colored pinpricks of light like on Star Trek, you’d understand this.  Or Channeled an Antarean, or met a Walk-In, or Encountered one of your Doubles.

To me Growth in Consciousness (which means Freeing yourself from some Archetype), which usually requires an Ego Death of some sort, is not about Discovery, but about Differentiation.  We See or Feel more layers of Reality when we start noticing that there are Trees in the Forest, Trees of different Colors, Trees that have Birds and Bears in them, Birds and Bear that may be different from one another and that eat different Foods, etc etc.  There is no better way to Illuminate an Archetype or Assumption that we’ve wrapped our Limited view of Reality around, than for it suddenly to disappear.

Would we notice if suddenly all the Birch Trees disappeared from the Forest?  We might only notice that something had Changed.  But if they reappeared while we were pondering what it was that Changed, then suddenly our Consciousness would have a whole new Perspective on Birch Trees.  This is precisely what happens during an Eclipse; that which we Assume is Constant blinks off for a short time, then returns to its former Glory.  And we’re talking about the Sun, which Symbolizes our Essence.  Hence we consider Eclipses to be about Illumination, and that’s precisely what they are. 

Remember that in the Unconscious there is no Negation.  When you Pray for No War, you’re most likely to get War, because the Unconscious does not have a No in its vocabulary.  As we usually put it, astrology and the Unconscious determine Dimension, but not Direction.  The Cat may still be Alive or Not.  Eclipse is the Absence of Light, as Fear is the Absence of Love.  The Dimensions in those statements are Light and Love.  The Direction – Absence or Presence – is a Political Decision by the Ego, by yourself.

When you make a Decision to Choose Light and Love rather than Absence on any Issue in your Life, you threaten the Karmic or Family or Cultural Archetype that would keep you in Scarcity, with Fire and Fury like the World has never known.  So guess what the Archetype does in return?  It threatens to surround your Ego with Missiles, while its Ally the Ego warns you to seek cover and “not” to look at the flash.  As if you would have time for anything approaching that.  Ego and Archetype are one and the same. 

Hence we always recommend adding “Lovingly and Gently and Rapidly and Completely” to our PIAVAs.

PIAVAs directly address the Unconscious.  The Unconscious is in Charge, and one of its “Rules” is that no Prayer goes unanswered – that’s just a Perspective, but we suggest strongly that it’s a Reliable First Approximation and a Useful Perspective.   Use it as a filter to Examine your Life.  Every Negative thought you have is a Prayer.  Every Victim Emotion that you have is a Prayer.  Your Prayers specify the Dimension, and your Negativity and Victimhood specify the Direction.  Thoughts and Emotions are self-reinforcing, and their Negativity and Victimhood reinforce each other.  Your Negative thoughts and Victim Emotions are generated by your Archetypes.

When you PIAVA something and you’re ready to Receive it, the Universe will deliver it, just like Amazon or Taobao.  When you aren’t ready to Receive it, what the Universe will deliver, when you see the Universe through a Benevolent Lens, is Illustration of Why You Haven’t Been Manifesting That All Along.  That often looks like the Opposite of what you Asked for – the same principle as an Eclipse; often the fastest way to get you to Notice something that you’ve been taking for granted, is to Remove it.

There are some things which you have always been Abundant in.  Your Archetypes support your Ego in those arenas.  There are other things that have always been Difficult for you.  Those Define your Self-Sabotaging Archetypes.  Jane Roberts’s (Seth’s) The Nature of Personal Reality is an excellent exposition of this Lens.

Your thoughts and Emotions are not beyond your Control.  Your Ego can Choose to Intervene and Change the Direction.  It may take years of Persistence to shut down a strong Archetype, but never consider it Impossible.  You can PIAVA Assistance in Changing the Direction of the Archetype from Scarcity to Abundance – or vice versa for Abuse, though you’re better off Asking for Respect and Inviolate Boundaries, or whatever it is that you Want, rather than Asking for what you Don’t Want.

In Real Life this is an Either/Or Universe.  Fate is still going on.  If your Fate is to be Rich and Famous and Irresistible, then you may not want to Change it – though “Good” Karma is said to be harder to Change than “Bad” Karma, so when you start to get tired of being Rich and Famous and Irresistible, you may want to PIAVA Choice.  You may want to Choose Rich and Famous and Irresistible on Tuesdays and Fridays, Happy and Private on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and Surprised on Saturdays and Sundays and Mondays – but even that is an Archetype that will be Obsolete soon.

There isn’t much difference between Attention and Intention.  If your Attention is always on Negativity and Scarcity, whether in thought or Emotion, the Unconscious will consider that your Intention, and Manifest it for you.  Your Attention is under your Control.  You may have a nasty Habit of Focusing on your Negative thoughts and Bummer Emotions, and it may take a lot of Work to Change the Habit, but it is doable.  The Key is Noticing and Congratulating.

Rather than beating yourself up when you Notice that you’re Unconsciously indulging your Negativity, Congratulate yourself for Noticing.  You’re substituting Positive Reinforcement for Negative Reinforcement, and the more often you do this, the easier it becomes.  You’ll be surprised at how Effective this simple step is; Congratulate yourself for Noticing that you’re Repeating an undesired Habit, rather than cursing yourself for Repeating the Habit.

This particular Eclipse occurs while Mercury is Retrograde, and the Vedic Eclipse interpretation we linked to at the beginning of this article reads much like the average Western astrology’s interpretation of Mercury Retrograde.  Our approach to Retrogradations is the same as our approach to Eclipses.  But rather than Demanifestation of something routine, a Retrogradation may encourage Obsession on it – not a matter of Dimension, just a matter of Direction, so absolutely available to be Changed by the Ego with PIAVAs and Persistence. 

I usually find Retrogrades to be more Contemplative than Obsessive, but the same Energies apply – Contemplate What you Want, not What you Don’t Want.  If you’re particularly Skilled at Obsession, Obsess on What you Want, not on What you don’t Want.  We’ve already talked about Obsession and Changing the Subject, an important step in PIAVAing…

If you can’t shake Negative Energy while you’re trying to Focus on What You Want, Tap it Out.  Be sure to measure the Intensity of the Energy before and after Tapping, and Recognize that you may need to Iterate, and even alternate with other forms of PIAVAing.  Persistence counts.

The dwarf planet that deals with our Unlimited Potential is Chaos, which is in the Air Grand Trine and Dynamic Grand Sextile of the recent Full Moon; see the previous post.  It’s joined in the Grand Trine by Haumea/Rebirth and South Node/Karma, but the other three, Fire, points in the Grand Sextile are North Node/Mission and Purpose, Eris/Revelation of Denial, and Lilith-Saturn-Ixion-Pholus/In Order to Achieve Self-Sovereignty the Most Important Thing is that we Become Responsible to our Unique and Probably Forbidden Genius.

The dwarf planet and Centaur Hylonome deals with Letting Go of Archetypes, and the asteroid Juno deals with the Edges of Consciousness.  It’s no Coincidence that they’re Conjunct as we speak.  Hylonome Initiated Juno in February 2017, starting a new 9-year Cycle at 8 Capricorn, “In a Sun-lit home domestic birds sing joyously.”  We’re in the middle of the Exposition (which actually peaked 28 July).  The Confidence-Builder occurs at the September Equinox.

In the arenas where we’ve achieved or otherwise enjoy some sort of Mastery, the sense of relative Control feels exquisite.  But then there are the other arenas of Life.  And it’s not actually about Control, it’s about Surrender.  It Feels to me like we’re already into “Aries Week” – time to reread…

Bottom Line…

“It’s all about Healing, but if we’re Ego-Attached to any of our Wounds [or any of our Achievements], the Healing Crisis will have to involve Ego Death.  It wouldn’t be surprising if this is what we Took Birth for…  We could easily make the case that the primary astroEnergy bathing us in late 2016 and early 2017 [and especially in late March] is a Struggle between Fear and Self-Love.  Love is Soft and Warm, Fear is Cold and Hard.  Love Heals, Fear is the Foundation for continued Separation and Pain.  “Love” means Unconditional Love.  The sort of Love that Expects something in Return is another category altogether.”

If we’re Struggling to Manifest something and it’s not working, we have to Love Ourself for that too.  How do we Love a Wound without Expecting something – like Healing for instance – in Return?  Lots of Tapping, perhaps?  Poor-Sweethearting the part of ourself that’s craving the Healing?  Looking into the Funhouse Mirror to see if there are other things we’re actually craving more than Healing?  Other cravings which may be holding back the Healing – or which the Universe thinks we need to Heal more than what our Ego wants to Heal, and It’s just using the Frustrating Wound to get our Attention?

The contest this week and next probably isn’t directly about Self-Love versus Fear; it’s probably more about Self-Love versus Self-Abandonment and Self-Doubt.  We have very Powerful Skills we aren’t using – we may not even be Aware of them – and the Universe may be Teasing us our Frustration, trying to get our Ego to open up to the unseen.  If you find Confusion, know you’re on the right track.  Don’t try to Disfuddle yourself; instead, Relax into the Confusion.  

Don’t-Know Beginners Mind is where we want to Be.  It’s all about Letting Go of Expectations and Judgments.  As Michael Roads says (From Illusion to Enlightenment p.94),”I need you to fully realize that you cannot change and remain the same.”  You could also be Feeling Pressure from Others.  Dealing with their Expectations and Judgments is a whole ‘nother story, especially if you Let them have Power Over you, or if they Want Power Over you.  

Sappho – Self-Love – has its 26 March Station and turns Back before it reaches Lilith, but the Station is Conjunct (Merged With) Lilith – Self-Sovereignty.  It will be mid-November by the time Sappho catches up with Lilith again, but the Initiation is intriguing – 2 Capricorn, “Three rose windows in a Gothic church, one damaged by war: The necessary realization by any individual making a violent use of collective power that it will lead to the inevitable destruction of some of the values ensuring group-integration.”

The 25 March Station of Ixion – Forbidden Genius – is also still Conjunct Saturn – Focus, or what we usually refer to as The Most Important Thing, since it implies suspending all priorities of lesser import.  The nascent Saturn-Ixion Cycle began mid-February at 26 Sagittarius, “A flag bearer in a battle” – a flag represents an Identity, particularly a Group Identity.  

Ixion and Saturn are Channeling the Galactic Center here, so we can interpret this as the necessity of moving to our Galactic or “Fifth-Dimension” Identity, the one that emphasizes Collaboration, Cooperation, Respect for All Things, and Shared Abundance, rather than Competition, Success and Failure, Privilege and Abuse, Duality, and Greed.  But we do this by Shifting our Frequency, not by “battle” or “war” or “violence.”

The two Stations bracket Sagittarius – Sappho at the Beginning and Ixion near the End.  Sagittarius is about Letting Go and Letting the Goddess.  So along the way we may be Grieving the Loss of some cherished “Third-Dimensional” Ego props, like Expectation, Judgment, Control, even Mastery.  Try putting Awe in their place.

Confusion and Leavia

Confusion is the first stage of Growth.

As Saturn Wanes toward Neptune over the next several years, we need to expect a Breakdown in the Definition (Saturn) of our Cultures (Neptune) that will require (Saturn) us all to shift our primary Perspective away from Matter and toward Spirit (Neptune). 

Someone on the BBC referred to Britain as being divided into two countries, Leavia and Remainia.  It’s amazing how much Fear-based propaganda is being thrown at Leavia – which I guess shouldn’t be surprising, since Remainia was a project of the Corporate Elites and their Fellow Travelers.  London was all Remainia – London is Britain’s “Wall Street.”  When do we get NAFTexit?

The Future hasn’t been Co-Created yet.  Our corner of it will be influenced greatly by what we PIAVA – including all those Unconscious and Semi-Conscious PIAVAs that we put out there under the guise of Anxiety.  Though it should help to Cancel, Neutralize, Upgrade those, and replace them as quickly as we can with PIAVAs for What We Do Want for ourself and for our role in the World.

“My power is over myself, is over how I learn to master myself.  Not about how I suppress my emotions but, more perhaps, about how I can work with these powerful energies.  CONSCIOUSLY.”

Yes, Power With ourself, not Power Over.  The difference is subtle and Powerful, critical for Co-Creating a desirable Future, and well described by Starhawk’s amazing and Life-Changing book Truth or Dare.  

Empathy with Self is fundamental.  “You poor Sweetheart, you’re feeling uncomfortable Emotions, aren’t you.  I Wonder what it would be like to Embrace them, to Locate them in my Body and put all of my Attention there, Lovingly and Gently.”  My own Response to doing this – when I remember to do it (Ay, there’s the rub, eh?!?), is a feeling of Ecstasy, though not always right away.  Maybe I can PIAVA to remember more often.

“It’s about finding ways to keep yourself centered so nothing (am I deluding myself?!) can throw you off balance.  Nothing!

Alas, we do need to be Vulnerable, and Embrace Confusion for itself, without trying to Change it.  Resistance to Vulnerability and Confusion is a serious Growth-preventing Limiting Belief.  Maybe we can resolve the apparent Contradiction by counting Both “Centered” And “Uncentered” as two distinct Emotions, and PIAVAing “how to work with these powerful energies Consciously” so we can build new Patterns that will allow us to Embrace them both automatically, before they throw us off Balance enough that we can’t Recover our Grounding in a short time.

“Feeling fearful or anxious won’t make any situation better.”

No, but we do need to Embrace our Fear as a valid Emotion (and Tap it out when it Feels Overwhelming – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QzVd6Ww0as4 ).  And Learn to quickly recognize Anxiety as mental noise that keeps us from Feeling uncomfortable Emotions, so we can get right to work Learning how to Lovingly and Gently Embrace those Emotions, Rapidly and Completely.

Yintegrity Rising

“I don’t think they are happy with me.  I am not following their tradition and I’m not sure what the impact of that will be, but I don’t care!  I’m not doing what I should, I’m doing what I want.  And that is SO different for me.

“I’ve always been the analyze/plan/execute person.  I do my duty.  I fulfill my promises.  If I commit, I follow through.  Period.  No doubt.  No question.  I guess what you would call “Yangtegrity.”  And it has served me well.  Very well.  For my whole life.

“Over the past…18 months, two years, there’s been a growing resistance to all of it!  I don’t even want to show up half the time!  (I’ve always taught my kids-Showing up is 80% of success.)  My intellect is so confused, my ego is having panic attacks.  Is this moving into Yintegrity?  

“There’s a third part of me that is very calmly standing by, reassuring that we’ll work out a new way of functioning, everything will be fine, the earth will not stop spinning on its axis.  So is that the pressure and fear I’m feeling?  The shift into Yintegrity?”

You bet!!  

And like any Big Change, there’s a hollow space, a gap, where our Olde Ego is in Lackawanna (“I know I’m done for; why should I care?”), and our New Ego hasn’t got its training wheels on straight yet.  So we’re wobbly.  Confusion is good; it’s a reliable sign that we’re Growing.  Anxiety is common, as our Olde Patriarchy-Attuned Egos needed to know what was going on so they could figure out who to Please how, when.

Time for PIAVAs.  “Great Spirit, please help me Trust my True Future so I can Surrender my False Past more comfortably” or the like.  “I wonder where the Hell I’m going, anyway.”  With Saturn Waning Square to Neptune and moving into the Void Space between them, The Most Important Thing (Saturn) is Confusion (Neptune).  Neptune symbolizes Confusion when viewing the World through Material Eyes, and Clarity when we shift to Spiritual Eyes.  “Ganeshi, please Remove all Obstacles to Opening my Third Eye.”

Love the title – ProfessionAutism.  I read it as Professionalism twice before I noticed the Aut.  In another post she says Pluto is on her Moon – I don’t know of any greater Emotional Challenge.  A perfect time to “hang loose,” but not even that is easy under Pluto-Moon.  “God/Goddess, Creator of All That Is, I Command that Ease and Grace fill my Life.  It Is Done, It Is Done, It Is Done.  Thank you, God/Goddess. … Show me.”

That’s a simplified form of Theta Healing.  Once you say “Show me,” look to see whether your Vision or other Intuitive Sense shows you bathed in Ease and Grace.  If not, look to see what else you need to Command.  Maybe Trust, or Enough to Eat, or just Breathing.

When the World, or your Community, or just your Household or Camp, operates through Yintegrity, the whole World is different.  People do things when they want to, and when someone resents something not being done, it’s up to them to recognize that it’s their job to do.  Or their job to inspire (not require or bully) someone else to do it, maybe as a group project where participation is of course optional – you would join or not because, in the moment, it’s more fun than doing otherwise.  

The Most Important Thing gets done, even if it’s not what you thought was The Most Important Thing.  Between the Waning Saturn Square to Neptune and the next Initiation, Cultures break down.  The next Neptune-Saturn Initiation isn’t until 2026, six years into the Digital Age.  It’s at the Aries Point – Manifestation into (Feminine) Form.  Aries Creates by Instinct, not by having a picture beforehand of the “finished” product.  Creating and “finishing” are two different Universes, with only accidental intersections.

I would suggest though, that “The ways in which Other Living Things can speak may also be almost infinite – the truth or a lie, clearly or in riddles, with language or with art.”  We maybe just haven’t heard them yet, till we get our Third Eye – or Ear – Open.  And that Everything is Living.

And, Saturn runs a Gauntlet of Initiations before it gets back to Neptune – Ixion, Pholus, Quaoar, the Galactic Center, Chariklo, Hylonome, Pluto. OR10, and Nessus!  Saturn will be a very different Animal by then, and we will be too.  Sounds like this Gauntlet would be worth a post of its own, eh?

And we didn’t even notice that Saturn was Initiated by the Great Attractor this last February, with an Exposition in May!  The Great Attractor is Headquarters to the Galactic Center – Cosmic HQ.  No wonder it’s been a heavy year so far, as if we haven’t had enough excuses!  We’re being asked to align ourselves with an Energy more Powerful than even Galactic Energy.

Big Solstice Full Moon

(1)  The 20 June Full Moon precedes the Solstice by a little less than half a day, so we can see this Moon as impacting the next half-year.  And I’ll venture a prognostication that the next half-year, and even the next month, will have a big impact on how long our species continues to dominate this Planet – to the extent that it does.  Our species is a much bigger legend in it’s own mind, than it is the Planet’s natural herstory.

(2)  This should be no surprise, as we’ve been working up to it since mid-May, but a very prominent feature of this Full Moon, and of the span of its influence, will be setting Boundaries against the Abuses of the Patriarchy.

(3)  It should be obvious how closely all this is Related to our recent adventures in Removing our Masks.  This represents a Major Shift in our Consciousness, as we begin to realize how much we’ve (been) Changed, and as we begin the hard work of rebuilding our Cultures to reflect our new Awareness.

(4)  As our Consciousness Shifts, so will our Values, very Powerfully – so you can be liberal with your Yes-Ands about letting your Values Grow along with the rest of you and your sphere of influence.  

Methinks we’ll see some very profound Changes in the near Future, even perhaps our long-awaited Tripping Point.

(1)  The asteroid Lachesis, the dwarf planet Quaoar, and the Galactic Center all stand behind this Full Moon.  That’s a heavy lineup.  Lachesis measures the thread that determines the length of a Lifetime.  Quaoar provides Guidance that permits Survival.  And the Galactic Center is the Source of our Bottom-Line Energy, the Sun’s Sun’s Sun so to speak.  In a word, Headquarters.  

The Quaoar-Lachesis Initiation occurred 18 March in 30 Sagittarius, which reflects the Power of Ritual.

(2)  In addition, the asteroid Klotho (she who cuts the cloth for the Lifeline that Lachesis measures) begins a gauntlet on Solstice Day, as it Opposes dwarf planet 2007 OR10 (potentially disruptive material erupting from deep within the Unconscious). It Opposes Centaur and dwarf planet Nessus (Abuse and Privilege) on 26 June, and is Initiated by dwarf planet Orcus (Dismantling of Obsolete Oaths) on 28 June.

The Klotho-OR10 Cycle (An Assignment from the Deeps) that’s now Blooming was Initiated at the Northern Winter Solstice in 2014 in 2 Pisces, which is about  Removing ourself from Unsafe Situations.

The Klotho-Nessus Cycle (Letting Go of Abuse and Privilege) that’s Flowering as we speak began earlier in December 2014 at 28 Aquarius, which concerns Maintaining our Safety.

The 28 June  Klotho-Orcus Initiation (Learning to Discern Living Vows from Dead ones) is at  7 Virgo, which is about Patriarchal Privilege and Enslavement of Females.

Mercury (Awareness and Communication) ran the same Gauntlet (but in Gemini, T-Squaring the lot) from 13-18 June.  

The asteroid Atropos (she who cuts the Chord when a Lifeline has run out of thread) will also be T-Squaring everyone from Gemini, for the rest of June.

Pallas (Boundaries) ran this Gauntlet (but in Pisces) during the last half of May, being Initiated by the Three Dwarfs in the same Degrees as Klotho.  Pallas is Stationary (Strong) and turning Retrograde on 21 June at 8 Pisces, so she’ll be retracing her steps across this minefield in an Exposition between now and August.

Pallas Initiated Klotho (Starting over with new Boundaries) on New Years Day 1980 at 28 Aquarius (Maintaining our Safety).  This was the year that the 1% resumed their Control over the US government for the first time since the early 1930s.  The Klotho-Pallas Opposition (Flowering) occurs on 30 June.  

Because Klotho’s orbit is less than three months shorter than Pallas’s, their Cycles are very long and irregular, and their speeds are so similar that it’s difficult to identify their Angles with certainty.  A previous Opposition occurred in 1934.  If this Cycle proves to be correlated with the tug of war between the People and the Lizards, then we could see a return to relative Democracy by 2020.  

We’ll need it, because with current trends by the time the Digital Age begins in 2020, there will be four very distinct classes of people in the “developed” World: the Owners, the Engineers and Coders, the Servants, and the Indigent.

(3)  The Full-Moon Opposition is Bridged by a Trine from the Sun to the asteroid Juno (the Edges of Consciousness), which is Stationary (Strong) and turning Direct on 22 June.

(4)  Venus (Values, Walking in Beauty) Quintiles (Learning) Uranus-Eris-Ceres (Making our new Honesty with Ourself a Permanent part of our Psyche and Personality) and Jupiter-North Node (Expanding into our Mission) from 18 June till 22 June, wrapping itself around the Solstice Moon, as Uranus-Eris-Ceres and Jupiter-North Node Biquintile (Learning – Cementing – new Patterns) one another.

Eris and Uranus both Initiate Ceres on 21 and 23 June at the familiar 24 Aries, the Picture of Abundance.

Jupiter Initiates the North Node on 24 June in 17 Virgo, which concerns “The explosive energy of long-repressed contents of the Unconscious.“

The Biquintile between Uranus-Eris-Ceres and Jupiter-North Node persists in one subset or another from 6 May till 22 July, so this has been an integral part of our Mask-Replacement endeavors as well.

Make-Make

We have from now till about 7am PDT (on 14 June) to put in our orders, our PIAVAs.  Operators are standing by.  Now that we’ve molted several very thick layers of Limiting Beliefs, we get a window to PIAVA what we didn’t used to Believe we could have or be.

My recommendation is that you Ask for

More layers of Limiting Beliefs to be Lovingly and Gently shed.  

That’ll be a lot more Powerful than PIAVAing some specific thing, it’ll put the astrological Wind at your back, and it’ll prepare you for the rest of the Century.  With the Universe squeezing Denial out of so many arenas (Climate, Economy, Greed, Intimidation, Discrimination, Hatred, to name a few), we’ll need all the Power we can muster.  It will take Miracles, so if we threaten to go into the Future NOT Believing in Miracles, we may as well just go home instead.

If you want to get more specific, Ask for

Any remaining Limiting Beliefs about Other People to be Lovingly and Gently shed.  

Specific folks, sure, but also Other People in general.  If we’re going to make it through this Century’s Ring-Pass-Not, we’ll need to Respect Everyone.

And while we’re at it, let’s go a step further, and Ask for

Any remaining Limiting Beliefs about Other to be Lovingly and Gently shed.  

If we’re going to make it through this Century’s Ring-Pass-Not, we’ll need to Respect All Things.  It’s the Patriarchy that hypnotized us into the Belief that only Hupers have Consciousness.  All Things have Consciousness.  If we don’t recognize that, we can’t enlist their Cooperation in what we need to accomplish.  Animals, Elements, Rocks, Planets, Bugs, Machines, Tools, whatever you can tease out of the Background Haze, it has Consciousness.

And most particularly, the Energy that infuses Everything – Animals, Elements, Rocks, Planets, Bugs, Machines, Tools, etc etc etc – has Consciousness.  Talk to the Moon, to the Wind, to the Soul of a Plant.  Talk to the Devas of Oil and of Carbon Dioxide and Methane.  Get Curious about what they have to say.  This Hubris, that only we are Conscious, is the Number One Limiting Belief that the Patriarchy has cursed us with.  

Transcend it.  Now.

Ask to Learn to recognize when you’ve left Curiosity.  Curiosity, like Love, eschews Judgment.  Judgment kills.  Curiosity and Love Reanimate.  Reanimate the Planet.  It’s up to you.  Every “vote” counts.

The dwarf planet Makemake (Manifestation) is Stationary (at its Strongest) and turning Direct on the Cusp of Libra on 14 June.  The asteroid Hybris (Hubris) is Stationary and turning Retrograde on 15 June (with Gratitude to our CAO).  

The Hybris-Makemake Cycle is Waxing, between the Trioctile (Making Positive Adjustments now that the New Energy is Permanent) and Biquintile (Learning how to put the New Energy to Work Efficiently) stages.  The New Energy is about How Observation Stops the Flow.  The Cycle began in early November 2013 in the same 1 Libra that the Lilith-Makemake Cycle began in, and the same 1 Libra that Makemake is Stationary in as we speak.

Eris-Uranus New Moon

Bottom Line

The 4 June New Moon is a major trigger for the 9 June Eris-Uranus Initiation, which is about Getting Honest with Ourselves around our formerly-Unconscious Limiting Beliefs.  We’ve also referred to them as Masks and Archetypes, and Despair.  This is really about Rebirth.  Unfortunately it may not be the most Effortless Birth, as our favorite Pattern is to cling to our Olde Ego while the New Ego is trying to get born.  That’s very painful.

We have to Let Go and Let God/Goddess.  Trust the process.  Whenever the going gets tough, recognize that you’re in Resistance to the Change.  It may not at all be obvious what else you can do besides Resist – Resistance is your Olde Ego trying to Survive, and that’s exactly what Egos do for a living, they’re good at it, and that’s why you hire them, because when they Survive, you Survive.  Except during the occasional Rebirths; we have to endure an Ego Death to allow a Rebirth.  

Your New Ego isn’t formed yet, and while we may have an inkling where to find its chrysalis, we won’t know what it Feels like.  So we’re stuck with PIAVAs (“God/Goddess, please give me a clue what to do besides Resist” or “I Wonder what it will Feel like when I finish wriggling out of this old carapace that’s so tight I can’t Breathe”) and Tapping (“Even though I feel worthless and hopeless, I deeply and completely Love and Accept Myself”) and Empathizing (“You poor Sweetheart, you really feel like you’re being tortured, don’t you”) and the like.

Once you succeed in Letting Go, you’ll be surprised at how quickly it gets Easy.

 

Details

1.  There’s a big Challenge to Embrace our Despair.  Remember that “Unconscious Despair” is failure to Believe that what you Need is even Possible.  Set aside your YesButs for a moment and Imagine that you could have what you Need or Want.  Now go back to your YesButs and convert each one to a YesAnd.  “YesBut you just aren’t Sexy enough to get that” might become “YesAnd I just Need one Lover.”  “YesBut you’ll never be able to earn enough Money for that” may be “YesAnd What If someone gave it to me as a Gift!”

You want to Touch that Feeling that you would have if your Dream came true, and hold it as long as you can, till it becomes a when rather than an if,  If you can hold that Feeling enough, it won’t matter whether your Dream actually Manifests, because you’ll already have what your Dream would have given you – Peace, Joy, Excitement, Self-Respect, Power, Grace.  What’s a Lover or a Red Convertible compared to that!  And if you had those Feelings most of the time, you could probably score Lovers and Convertibles pretty easy, if you still wanted to.

This is the difference between your Deepest Desires and your Mission in the Lifetime.  What you Desire isn’t actually the Object of your Dreams, it only seems that way because you live in a Material World.  What you actually Crave, what you came her to achieve, is How the Object of your Dreams Makes you Feel.  From that Feeling you can have anything you Ask for.  And guess what!  You’ll be Asking for different things, and they won’t have any YesButs.  It’s a Hologram, y’know, and you’re the projector.

2.  While this is a big Challenge, it doesn’t come without tools that can actually make it pretty Easy.  However, to manifest the Ease, we have to realize that Rebirth is the Ego’s Least Favorite party game, and Love our Olde Ego into oblivion.  Try Gratitude that It’s gotten you this far.  Try just really really appreciating how incredibly Comfortable your Olde Ego Feels, and PIAVA that your New Ego is going to Feel even more Comfortable once you’ve moved through the Grief of Giving Up your Olde Friend who’s kept you Safe.

3.  What will make your Rebirth Easier?  Getting Honest about what you’ve been trying to hide from yourself.  You may not know the details, but you know the general theme.  Abuse?  You don’t need to remember who or when, you just need to Trust your Feelings about it.  Fear?  Anger?  Embrace them.  Locate them in your Body, and move all of your Attention into the center of that place, and hold it there.  Bring it back when it wanders.  Stay with it till it dissolves or moves.  If it moves, follow it.

Eventually you’ll need to Surrender all Blame.  Blame looks toward the Past to assign Cause, while Responsibility looks toward the Future to improve Outcomes.  Any time you catch yourself attributing some Emotion or Sensation in your Body to any outside Cause, stop and bring your Attention back into your Body.  I’m always gnawing at myself because my neighbors have no idea what I’m trying to do in my Garden, and condemn it as a Jungle.

I need to catch myself thinking that, and bring my Attention back into my own Body.  Those Emotions and Sensations have their Roots in my Personal and Karmic Histories.  Those are my Emotions, the neighbors only trigger them.  I need to take up the Practice of locating them in my Body, and Loving them right where they are, exactly as they are.  If I Reject any Emotion, I dampen them all, and without any of them I’m not a Whole Person, I’m dis-eased.

Use this general model with everything that you suspect may be lurking in your Underwhere – Inadequacy, Self-Hate, Belief in Fate, Addiction, Guilt, Shame, any Limiting Belief, and anything else that comes up.  When the Emotion begins to Overwhelm, Tap it Out.

4.  The whole chart actually falls into a pool of Enormous Grace, but there’s a leak in the pool.  To plug it, we need to recognize the Challenges we’ve Lived through, Honor ourself for Living through them, and be Willing to talk about them so others can Learn from our travails.

 

The Astrology

1.  Aside from the Eris-Uranus Initiation itself of course, the primary focus of the chart is a Chiron T-Square (Challenge to Convert Despair to Miracles) across and Opposition between an Ixion-Pholus Conjunction (Taking Full Responsibility to Let our Orphaned Genius out of the closet) and a Karma-Chaos Conjunction (But without my old Patterns it all looks Chaotic! or Karma is Dead; Long Live Karma!).
2. This T-Square (Mastery through Challenge) is actually a Diamond Star (Making what would be difficult, Easy), with Sappho (Self-Love) and a Haumea-Nemesis Conjunction (either Feeling like you had this coming, or Recognizing that Rebirth feels like Death because they’re just different sides of the same Coin) on the feet of the Chiron Yod.
3. The Eris-Uranus Initiation (Revelation of Denial) is at the focus of a Quintile Yod (huge Learning Opportunity).  However, the Haumea-Nemesis Conjunction Opposes the Eris-Uranus Initiation, converting the QYod into a Quintile Kite and shifting some of the emphasis onto Haumea-Nemesis.  A Yod pointing to a Sedna-Atropos Conjunction (The Demise of Fear, foreshadowed of course by the Fear of Demise) from the base of the Sextile from Haumea-Nemesis to Ixion-Pholus.
4. Eris-Uranus, Karma-Chaos, Sappho, Haumea-Nemesis, and Ixion-Pholus form five points of a Grand Sextile (Enormous Grace, though we need to take the first step).  The Vacancy is 24 Aquarius, “A person, having overcome their compulsions, shares the deep wisdom that results from their experience: The constructive use to which difficult past experiences can be put as examples for those who are still striving to overcome their compulsions,” aka Archetypes/Masks/Karma.

Venus, Mars, and Yintegrity

Venus is dancing with the 4 June New Moon, Mars is very busy, and of course Yintegrity is the bottom line here as we approach the 9 June Eris-Uranus Initiation.  If you haven’t been dancing with Rebirth of your Sexuality and Sensuality (Venus and Mars) yet, to bring it more in line with your Yintegrity, you’re probably overdue.  The Royal Star Regulus is still lit up, so be mindful that Revenge (Mars) may backfire.

Mars, after turning Retrograde at the Ides of April, reached it’s astrological Opposition to the Sun on 22 May, backed into Scorpio on 27 May, reached it’s cosmological Opposition to the Sun (closest approach to Earth in a decade) on 29 May, and turns Direct again on 29 June.  If you’re feeling or encountering a lot of bitchiness (as one reader calls it) or lack of Satisfaction (as Mick would call it), you can probably blame Mars.  Of course, if you’re being Victimized by Mars, we’d interpret that as a Denial of ______ [you’ll have to PIAVA how to fill in the blank; it’d be different for everyone].

Mars’s Shadow Period (span of Retrogradation) covers 24 Scorpio to 9 Sagittarius, the last two and-a-half Duads of Scorpio (adjustments to the Ego to Balance new Learnings) and the first three and-a-half Duads of Sagittarius (testing our New Ego in social settings).  Scorpio is about Fearlessly Digging Deep, and Sagittarius is about Letting  Go.  Mars entered its Shadow Period February 18.  So…

Whatever business it is that we haven’t finished and which we danced with in the last half of February, after we tried and failed to Let It Go over the last three months, it’s back.  YooHoo.  So now we have to immerse ourselves in it.  Locate it in our Body and just Be in that spot for a month.  Dr. Kim must have a good astrologer or good Intuition, because as it often is, her current message is right on…

The New Moon is very busy…

It’s in Gemini, Conjunct Venus, and it’s one corner of a Grand Cross with Saturn, Jupiter-North Node, and Neptune-South Node.  It’s also the head of a Kite, on a Saturn-Hopi-Mnemosyne Fire Grand Trine.  The Neptune-South Node corner of the Grand Cross is the head of a second Kite, on a Pluto-Jupiter/North Node-Aletheia Earth Grand Trine.  The Kites are connected by two Yods, to Hopi/Leo from Pluto-Neptune, and to Pluto/Capricorn from Hopi and the New Moon.

Stressful, but the Rewards for Surrendering Control and PIAVAing what you lack should be fabulous.  If they aren’t, PIAVA the next step – you may also need something else, you may need to go Deeper, or your mind may just be leading you into one of those blind Either/Or alleys.  You may need to Wonder what to PIAVA.  It could just be Patience.  We’re in the Soup till 9 June.  That doesn’t mean we have to Suffer, but it also means that perfect Comfort is likely to escape us.

The second, Jupiter-Neptune axis of the Grand Cross is malformed, as Jupiter does not really Oppose Neptune.  Jupiter recently backed up to within a Degree and-a-half of completing the Opposition, then changed its mind and went back the other way.  The real Opposition took place last September.  That Opposition was the Blooming of the very momentous Neptune-Jupiter and simultaneous Chiron-Jupiter Initiation, in May 2009, a prelude to the 2010 Neptune-Chiron Initiation.  All three of these Initiations occurred in 27 Aquarius, “An ancient pottery bowl filled with fresh violets.”  If you have the time, you might want to review “Chiron-Neptune” in the list of Categories at right.

These Fresh Violets are a Symbol we recognize, as the theme for the initially-alternate economy that is being formed as the dregs of the Industrial-Age economy limp into the Digital Age.  And we recognize the Chironean Despair that surrounded the recent Derivative Crisis (advertised by the corporate media as a “Subprime Loan” Crisis; this theme of making the Victims into Criminals is a trend that’s just starting).  

The Industrial-Age economic infrastructure that died in 2010 isn’t fixable; it will have to be replaced with “Fresh Violets,” but the bankers are stretching it out as long as they can because they’re getting rich off if it and hoping to make it into the 1% before it’s too late, and because the 1% haven’t figured out yet how to checkmate China and the other contenders (including us) as they plan their own new infrastructure. 

Eventually the alternate economy will go mainstream as the seed of the first Digital Age Survival strategy for the Analog portion of the 99%.  It’s about growing our own Food, trying to protect ourselves from the political corruption and poisoned Earth that Predatory Capitalism leaves almost everywhere on the Planet, creating local Community, adapting the portions of new technology that are accessible to us (such as 3D printing), and growing Resilience.  

We can probably safely assume that for most of us the future will look more like present-day Libya or Syria or the Palestinian dilemma, than the Sound of Music or the Gatsby.  One of the best handbooks for the alternate economy is probably Permaculture Magazine, and its new Western-Hemisphere spinoff.  The ancient Popular Mechanics is also surprisingly useful.

The fact that the Jupiter-Neptune axis of the Grand Cross does not complete suggests that…

This New Moon and its Grand Cross may unleash a lot of Paper Tigers – bundles of Fear that look like Monsters from our Karmic past.  If this is true, then there will likely be an economic feint (or faint) in June – the long-promised demise of the current economic shell game will appear to be happening, while its actual demise may be delayed until after the US elections.  The appearance of demise will probably be enough to bring us all face to face with our Survival Fears.

Other than knowing that we’re in the Void phase of the final Jupiter-Saturn Cycle of the Industrial Age, and that there will most likely be a Cultural component to this Eris-Uranus Revelation of Denial business (think Global Balming, Poverty, Predatory Capitalism, for-profit medicine), I haven’t looked at the rest of the year and decade yet astrologically.  I will soon.

The unfortunate Truth is that the 1% have become expert at “Crisis Investing,” which means taking maximum advantage of the Victims of any Crisis, the way W and his cronies did after Hurricane Katrina or 9/11 (see Naomi Klein’s Shock Doctrine or John Perkins’s New Confessions of an Economic Hit Man if you want to learn how that’s done – or just watch The Donald).  So whatever occurs on the Cultural or Global scale, we need to PIAVA that Huperity has reached a Tripping Point, and that Miracles are available to the Planet.  There is ample potential for that.

The New Moon is also the head of a Kite, on a Saturn-Hopi-Mnemosyne Fire Grand Trine.  The Neptune-South Node corner of the Grand Cross is the head of a second Kite, on a Pluto-Jupiter/North Node-Aletheia Earth Grand Trine.  The Kites are connected by two Yods, to Hopi/Leo from Pluto-Neptune, Hopi meaning Respect for All Things, and to Pluto/Capricorn from Hopi and the New Moon.  Fire and Earth form a potent Alchemical combination.

The New Moon is also Trioctile (Rebalancing) to the recent Lilith-Juno Initiation (“Around a campfire a group of young people sit in spiritual communion” – bringing Yindependence to the Edges of our Consciousness), which Initiation is in turn at the head of a Quintile Yod from Vesta and Chiron.

Our Choice Points are really whether to be in Despair about how our Unconscious Beliefs in Limitation have us shackled, or to be Willing to move toward Miracles by PIAVAing what we don’t believe is attainable – or perhaps that we don’t believe it’s attainable – and by Empathizing with what’s really going on.  “You poor Sweetheart, you’re really swimming in Self-Rejection here, aren’t you” for instance.  PIAVAs about trying to Heal our Despair by Changing External Reality will probably not work as well here; it’s an inside job.

The mindstuff that forms the content of our Anxieties is what needs to be jettisoned as soon as possible, so we can instead use our scarce Attention Resources to either focus directly on our Anxiety itself (for instance Tapping Out “Even though I feel very Worried, I deeply and completely Love and Accept myself”), or to go Deeper and begin to get Comfortable with the Real Feelings that our Anxiety is trying to hide from us (“I Wonder what Real Emotions are underneath my Anxiety, and how I might Heal their Source”).

This is the Gift of the Neptune-South Node Kite.

Yintegrity in Public

“We agree that the current astrology is encouraging us all to increasing Yintegrity (love that my spellcheck knows that word and to even capitalize it!).  However, I’ve been reading tons of Brian Browne Walker’s I Ching and the entire premise of that ancient book is all about control in dealing with the exterior world.  Perhaps it’s just what I’m asking about these days, but every answer seems to be about non-action, and it feels like the I Ching’s recommendation is to Hide Truth More. 

“Now that interpretation by me could just be my Inner Child – having moved from shy, scared five year old to angry ‘I will cut your head off’ seven year old – sadly protesting ‘What’s the use of knowing Inner Truth if I can’t express it?’ but the balancing of Inner Truth and Outer Power in the World feels nearly contradictory.  That’s Either/Or I suppose.  Maybe it’s knowing your Inner Truth and then acting skillfully to achieve the results you want in the Outer World?  Rather than the interpretation of Stuffing My True Self?

 

“I’d really like you to say more about the Virgoan ‘Who, Me?’  I’m guessing that any time I say ‘I’d never do that!’ it’s a clue.  And believe me, I’ve encountered some very angry, vengeful Inner bits lately.  I am working hard to send Major Love Streams when I recognize them (either as Voices or in the Body), and generally they then fade, but it must be grooved neural pathways that keep lighting them up.”

Yintegrity and Expression

You bet.  The Yangtegrity Patriarchy is fading, but it’s still by far the dominant paradigm.  Yangtegrity, by the way, for newbies, means doing what you said you were going to do, while Yintegrity means doing what you Feel like doing, moment to moment – that is, Trusting your Instincts.  Yangtegrity does Plan-Execute, while Yintegrity does PIAVA-Change the Subject.  To Live Yintegrity in a Yangtegrity World, in general we need to minimize our Commitments, be willing to Renegotiate often, and to Make Amends when Renegotiation isn’t possible and the Relationship is Important.  

Scary, eh?  Stretching our Yintegrity is a huge Risk, and one we’ve been warned against since we were infants.  Many of us were programmed to control even our most basic bodily functions, and many of us are sick from doing it.  So yes, of course the Olde Ego is going to come up with every excuse it can – from ancient Fears to manifesting coaches and friends and books, to literally disease – to warn us away from Yintegrity.  

In my limited experience the I Ching is oriented toward “success,” which is an important term in the Competition playbook, so the I Ching may be, like Greek Mythology, a handbook for enlisting in the then-new Patriarchy.  It sounds like you have a lot more experience with it than I – do you think that may be relevant?  If so, then yes, it would not encourage Yintegrity, it would more likely encourage social and economic success over Self-Trust.  Even its covert emphasis on morality is an Idealism, a spinoff of the Patriarchal mindset.

I’m definitely not advocating that we alienate a lot of people with our version of “Radical Honesty,” by any means.  The bottom line about removing our Masks is about getting Honest with Ourself.  So, for instance, if there’s a particular element of Pleasing that we’re programmed to perform for “success,” which creates a Reaction within our own Psyche – for instance, one of our Epiphanies might be to connect those headaches or indigestion that we get, with choosing to overlook the behavior of a particular client or co-worker or partner, which behavior we’d never tolerate in a close friend – then we might “Wonder how we can Change our Response to that person to eliminate the negative personal consequences, without losing an account or a job or a partnership.”

That’s a very complex sentence, but it says what I want it to say, so let me re-say it.  Suppose we get headaches or indigestion once in while.  And suppose we have a client or co-worker or partner whose behavior we tolerate in order not to rock the boat, but whose behavior we would never tolerate from a close friend.  And suppose one day we notice that there’s a connection here – our headaches or indigestion are often preceded by interactions with this client or co-worker or partner, or initiated by thoughts about these interactions.  

That would be the sort of Epiphany that wouldn’t surprise us here in this astrological province.  In Response to our Epiphany we might “Wonder how we can Change our Response to that person to eliminate the negative personal consequences, without alienating the person.”  Our interactions with people, or rather, the interactions between our Archetypes or Masks and their Archetypes or Masks, can literally make us sick.  But if we can step outside the Archetype we can immediately see that there are a million ways to Change the dynamics of any relationship that are a lot easier than “Just get on the bus, Gus.”

Before we can step outside the Mask, we need to become Conscious that we’re under the Spell (or Curse) of the Archetype.  A Pluto Mjolnir under an Eris-Uranus Initiation sets up very fertile conditions for that sort of Insight, especially with Nessus (Abuse/Privilege) and OR10 (Upwellings from the Deeps) Initiating Pallas (Boundaries).  Wherever in our Lives we don’t Live in constant Ecstasy, that’s an neon candidate for a PIAVA like “I Wonder what sort of Archetype or Mask I’m not Conscious of here,” or “Ganeshi, please remove all Obstacles to complete Freedom of Action for me around this.”  

I don’t expect to wake up in a Yintegrity World in mid-June.  I’ll be delighted if I’m living my own Yintegrity ten percent more of the time, and that my close relationships have increased in Yintegrity.  Once we replace Money with Community again (which the next four years of hard times may promote, and which the end of the Industrial Age may permit), then we’ll find that Yintegrity has begun to spread into what under Yangtegrity we consider “Livelihood.”  Working on a Community task because it promotes the “wealth” of the whole Community may Feel a lot more Yintegrous than working for Money.

The breaking up of Society into opposing rhetorical armies, and the Internet’s role in it, which we usually see as a product of the Polarization in the 1/1/2000 chart, is actually a step toward social Yintegrity.  We just haven’t done it long enough yet to notice that while someone might share my Reaction to The Donald, they definitely don’t share my Reactions to Freedom of Speech or Infidelity or Broccoli or Freedom to Exploit or Immigration or Uncle Milty or Abhortion or Capitalism or Glyphosate or the Color Puce or the Patriarchy.  

Once we figure out that we actually have no control over other people’s Reactions to us, we suddenly get Permission to just be Effortlessly Honest.  We’re able to maintain the illusion that we can successfully manipulate other people’s Reactions only because they were programmed in the same language that we were programmed in.  When we move beyond Rhetoric to Communication, the World Changes.  Much of our Lives will still run on Rhetoric, because it’s so much more efficient, but without the Masks we can be a lot more flexible.

The I Ching dates from the first several centuries of the third Millennium behind us, in the last half of the Age of Aries – the Age of Heroes.   I doubt that we can date the Patriarchy to this era; more likely we can date the advent of written justifications for the Patriarchy to this era.  Some folks assume the Patriarchy arose as a result of Agriculture, because it allowed the accumulation of surpluses and hence Greed and Inequality.  That would date it as far back as the Age of Leo or before, though it may have taken a millennium or two to develop.  Following Icke and Sitchin, we could make a case for the Anunnaki fostering the birth of the Patriarchy in its current form at the beginning of the Age of Aries.

The Age of Heroes would certainly have been a fertile time for Patriarchy to bloom.  The quarter-millennium around the development of the I Ching was a very busy time.  It would have been between the Phitile and the Waning Square of the Age of Aries, the time of its culmination.  Confucius, Lao Tzu, Zarathustra, Gautama Buddha, and Homer (author or transcriber of the most germinal of the Greek Myths about the defeat of the Matriarchy) all lived in this era, and the earliest version of the Old Testament was written.  

Between 575 and 577 BCE, a Triple Initiation occurred, between Pluto, Neptune, and Uranus.  That would have symbolized a huge shift in the Unconscious Psyche of Huperity, hence the birth of all the Patriarchal heroes.  

The three Initiations occurred in 10-15 Taurus…

• Pluto Initiated Neptune in 577 BCE at 10 Taurus, “A Red Cross nurse.”
• Pluto Initiated Uranus in 576 BCE at 12 Taurus, “A young couple window-shopping.“
• Neptune Initiated Uranus in 575 BCE at 15 Taurus, “Head covered with a rakish silk hat, muffled against the cold, a man braves a storm: The courage needed to meet the crises precipitated by social ambition.“

The Neptune-Uranus (relationship of collective to individual) symbol reeks of Inequality; Pluto-Neptune’s (transformation of culture) nurse, while having perhaps some autonomy working for the Red Cross, would in general be constrained by their hierarchical superior, the doctor; Pluto-Uranus (transformation of the individual) is about material acquisitiveness that probably serves the Individuals more than their Community. 

A Triple Initiation of Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto will occurs every 4,000 years or so, the next one occurring around 3370, in Gemini, in the Age of Aquarius.  Pluto has an eliptical orbit, so the span would vary.

Yintegrity and “Who, Me?”

Yes, any comment with an “I” or “me” in it is a doorway to Consciousness of our Masks.  

• I’d never do that!
• I’m one of those people who…
• I hate it when…
• How could they do that to me!
• I’d do anything for Love, but I won’t do that!

The only exception might be “I Feel <adverb>, or other statements about the present moment.  And of course any “I sometimes…” statements.  Anytime you’re labeling or implying that you or someone else is always a certain way, you’re looking at a Mask.

Remember though that Patterns – Habits – make Life possible.  If we had to stop and think about which muscle to contract and which one to extend every time we needed to raise a hand to scratch our nose, we wouldn’t get much done.  Some of us may have experienced something on that order while stoned – it makes you appreciate programming.  It’s when one program always fires, or a program fires inappropriately, that we get in trouble.  

Like that co-worker or client or partner that “makes us sick.”  We always have an infinite number of options in the Present Moment; it’s when we aren’t in the Present Moment that we know we’re stuck in an Archetype.  How can we recognize this?  Well, any time we don’t have an infinite number of options, we’re not Present.  So if we’re stewing about something, without imagining a hundred different alternative ways we could have responded, we just PIAVA, “I Wonder why I feel Limited here.”  

21.5.16 Full Moon II

 

Our Chief Asteroid Officer points out that Astraea (the fifth asteroid discovered after Ceres, Pallas, Juno, and Vesta) completes the Grand Cross with the Full Moon.  Astraea is about Innocence, and she’s right at home in early Virgo.  

We can think of Virgoan innocence as “Who, me?” in the sense that when your best friend Lovingly accuses you of hiding behind a Mask (when you actually are), and you naturally and innocently reply “Who, me?”  Not that your friend would ever be dumb enough to try to label someone else’s Masks; it’s just a metaphor to explain Virgo’s function.  

Leo is where the Ego’s Self-Confidence peaks, Libra is where it meets Other, which means that all bets on Self-Confidence are up for grabs.  Virgo is in charge of the Transition.  If Virgo is the palm, Pisces is the back of the hand.  Aquarius is where the Ego’s Confidence in Community peaks, Aries is where it meets brand new territory so success will only follow from “Don’t-Know” mind.  Pisces is in charge of that Transition.

At the Full Moon we have dwarf planets Opposite one another that are both Stationary (Strong) early in this Virgo-Pisces Ego-Transition, from having a fair degree of Certainty and Comfort, to becoming a complete newbie again.  With Astraea asking, “Who, Me?”  Or as a reader says…

“Kaboom, JUST connected.  I’m wiggin’ out because I hold this perspective & perception that EVERYTHING IS A TRADE OFF.  OMG – THAT belief?  I was completely indoctrinated into THAT.  Hugo mungo either/or thinking.  I never saw the depth of this trade-off perspective and never connected it to The Grand Either/Or that permeates so much.  That they are one and the same.”

I could tell similar stories about my own Epiphanies, but this stuff moves so fast, and the nature of this Edge between Consciousness and the Unconscious is so ephemeral, that I can’t keep track from day to day of what my Psyche is doing.  I just know it’s moving through Heavy territory and making it’s own connections.  

How old was I when they had to sew my tongue back on because I bit it almost off jumping off a couch while horseplaying with my sibs?  Three?  Of course that wouldn’t have triggered my Abandonment because my father had to spend money he didn’t have.  And of course that wouldn’t have anything to do with my allergy to hospitals and my recent experience of them.  

Without knowing what but knowing it was Heavy, I used to literally paint that picture when I was in high school, the scene from the neighbor’s car, looking out over the river in the darkness.  I obviously wasn’t in my Body.  Shortly after that we moved to the downriver side of the hospital, and it took me a long time to figure out why in this picture I was looking down river.

Another reader, born during the height of the original Ouija-Board Pluto-Uranus Initiation, recommended Bill Plotkin’s Wild Mind to me.  Here are some excerpts about our Masks…

“The grave problem with having made such a pact in childhood is that, once adopted, it becomes a bedrock layer of our personalities.  Achieving liberation from our Loyal Soldier survival strategies is one of the most challenging and long-lasting tasks of the individuation process, requiring a good deal of courage, discernment, and endurance even into genuine adulthood and elderhood.” (p.133)

His pact, or Oath, is our response to our need to protect our child self from likely-fatal Abandonment by our Family or Community.  The dwarf planet Orcus, which symbolizes these Oaths, is Stationary only a few degrees from Astraea.  It’s handy, having Astraea’s Innocence there, allowing us more Empathy for the pickle that our historical tykes found themselves in.  That allows us to slap our forehead with an OMG, instead of the “How stupid can we be?” that we might otherwise greet ourself with while opening these doors.

The Pisces side of this equation features the dwarf planet OR10 – also Stationary – and the Centaur Nessus.  OR10 is about irruption of material from the Unconscious – including sudden Epiphanies.  Nessus is about Privilege and Abuse.  And all this is in the context of having Mars (Action, Anger) Oppose Vesta (Limiting Unconscious Beliefs) less than a Degree from the Full Moon axis.  All preparation for June’s Eris-Uranus (Embracing the Previously Denied) – the cosmic choreography is quite amazing.

“Our juvenile survival strategies of self-diminishment form the core of our most self-defeating patterns: those that disparage our dreams, our potentials, and our healthy wildness, or that aggravate low self-esteem and troubles with intimacy.  And, most irksome, these strategies are often on autopilot, launched outside our awareness and without our consent or control.”

Conspiring to hold our Unique Genius in its Orphanage – or as we bring them into Consciousness, to Set it Free, as Ixion (Genius) Trines (Grace) Eris-Uranus.

More Masks from Plotkin (p.157)…

Not all of our Wounded Children are trying to help us survive.  Some are simply casualties of our other [Masks] or of the unkind actions of others.  These are our Outcasts, elements of our psyches we rejected in order to survive, in order to be accepted by others.

“These are the versions of ourselves of which we are ashamed – perhaps our gentleness or our fierceness, our sexuality, our anger or sadness, our fear or embarrassment, our love of dance or poetry, our joy or vivaciousness, or our need for touch or compassion.  Once we reject these Wounded Children and label them bad or worthless, they exist in a marginal, banished state within our psyches.  Nonetheless, we live every day with some awareness of their pain and heartache.

“For children, conscious self-rejection is less harmful than being rejected by others, even if it’s no less painful.  By restraining ourselves from acting in ways that lead to being shamed, we’re less likely to be abandoned.  The price we pay is self-shaming, resulting in Outcasts within us we’re not willing to love, who we’ve neglected and exiled.  

“Although our Outcasts persist as pockets of pain within us, they embody great gifts – strengths and sensibilities not deemed worthy by others in our early lives, but gifts we can reclaim when we’re psychologically ready to do so.  The reclamation process usually begins with grief.  We must mourn our psychological woundings by others, our consequent self-woundings, and the loss of joy, aliveness, and relationships that resulted from all our self-diminishments.”

And again (pp.186-7)…

“We’re all in recovery from Western civilization.  Sooner or later, we each must address the paramount addiction in the Western and Westernized worlds: our psychological dependence on the worldview and lifestyle of Western civilization itself.  The Western worldview says, in essence, that technological progress is the highest value, and that we were born to consume, to endlessly use and discard natural resources, other species, techno-gadgets, toys, and often, other people, especially if they’re poor or from the global South.

“It’s a world of commodities, not entities, of consumers, not human beings, and economic expansion is the primary measure of progress.  Profits are valued over people, money over meaning, our national entitlement over global peace and justice, ‘us’ over ‘them.’  This addiction to Western civilization – especially now that the Chinese, too, are hooked – is by far the most dangerous one in the world because of how rapidly and extensively it’s undermining the natural systems of the Earth.

“Addiction to Western civilization keeps us from seeing and feeling the staggering price all Earthly life pays for our consumer habit.  And it protects us from having to make any radical changes in lifestyle, or from having to grow up, leave the ‘home’ of our adolescent comforts, and embark on the hazardous journey of initiation that leads to an existence that’s life enhancing, meaningful. and fulfilling.”

Pp.208-210…

“The Shadow, one of the archetypes identified by psychologist Carl Jung, is composed of those elements of our own psyches that are unknown to us … the Shadow is not what we know about ourselves, don’t like, and keep hidden.  Rather, the Shadow is what is true about us that we don’t know – don’t know at all – and, if accused of it, would adamantly and sincerely deny.”

“Who, Me?”

“The purpose of the Shadow is to protect us from enacting personal characteristics that, if expressed, might land us in big trouble with others or ourselves.  We stuff these forbidden parts of ourselves in a corner of our psyches where we can’t find them, where we can ‘fail to notice’ them.”

“The Shadow is what our psyches repress (render unconscious), not what our Egos suppress (consciously hide from others). … This is difficult to accept and digest – that there are aspects or parts of ourselves we really don’t know and that are completely at odds with who we think we are.  

“Even when our other [Masks] act unconsciously (independently of our Egos), we know them by how they affect our lives, thoughts, and deeds.  Perhaps we don’t acknowledge them to others, but we do know them.  Not so for the elements of the Shadow.  The Shadow is always unconscious.”

Ah yes, dwarf planet Chaos (Unlimited Potential), Sextile (Grace after we initiate) to Eris-Uranus.  Thank goodness there’s always More.
