“Good, because I am ‘up to here’ with trying to figure things out.  It’s so flacking exhausting!”

Absolutely!  It’s Lit Up this week, but it makes an indispensable Lifetime Strategy.  Like Nick says about Tapping, “Try It On Everything” where in this case “It” is Giving Anything and Everything To A “Higher Power.”  And our own Unconscious is one of our most Powerful “Higher” Powers – that’s why I persist in refusing to refer to it as Subconscious.

The (not “Our”) Unconscious changes Moment to Moment, because it’s defined as Everything we aren’t Ego-Identified with in this Moment.  It’s “The” and not “Our” because when we are able to reach beyond our Ego-Identification, we don’t just access other parts of ourself, we have access to All The Information In The Universe.

So yes, a very Powerful Habit is Noticing when we’re trying to “Figure It (Anything) Out,” and instead PIAVAing Clarity, or Missing Information, or The Best Outcome for All Concerned, or whatever it is we’re trying to squeeze into the “Left-Brain’s” Limiting Dualities.  We could even PIAVA to “Intuit It Out” instead!

And Quilless bring up an astrotechnical issue as well…

“I am having trouble with finding the trioctile in my program, though.  I used a calculator for (360 / 8) x 3 and got 135, but isn’t that a sesquisquare?  My eyes tell me they are not the same because there are actual sesquisq glyphs on your chart on the orange lines, but we are looking at yellow.  Confused!”

Yes indeed, a Trioctile and a Sesquisquare are the same Animal.  We don’t use the “Sesqui” term because we don’t interpret Octiles as part of the Square family.  Certainly they’re related, but the Square has such a strong reputation as Ongoing Frustration, that we don’t want to pollute the Octile as well.  As you know, since the Fourth Harmonic is about Dominion, we interpret a Square as a Challenge to Adeptness or to Mastery.  The symbol for the Fourth Harmonic is The Emperor, and we choose to interpret that as a Strong and Wise and Empathetic Leader, one that everyone would Trust to solve their disputes and to project equitable policies.

So we reinterpret the Square as a Searching and Fearless Quest (which is after all the Fourth Step in AA) for Understanding and Remediation of the Compulsive Need that’s usually indicated by the focal planet, with help from the other two.  If we can reframe our Squares as Graduate Seminars (there are no Answers, only Better Questions), we can come to Peace and even Excitement about them, because it quiets the Perfectionism and Inferiority that we have painted them with, and allows us to see how we’ve actually made great progress with them over the course of our Lifetime.

In fact, we always try to convince People that their Squares are not their greatest Curse, though until they’re Reframed that’s what they feel like.  Your Squares are actually your greatest areas of Expertise, because you’ve not only eliminated many of the zillions of Strategies that don’t work Perfectly to “Solve” that “Problem,” but you thoroughly understand, through Experience, how and why and when each Strategy doesn’t work, and what’s to be Gained and Learned from using it in which circumstances!  Squares feel like Problems to be Solved, but they aren’t, they’re Issues We’ve Chosen to Study in great Depth and Breadth.

The Octile is a whole ‘nother Animal.  The symbol for the Eighth Harmonic is the Egyptian Goddess Maat, who is in charge of Law, Truth, and Justice (Angeles Arrien, The Tarot Handbook, p.55), and the interpretation is Returning to Balance.  While Resolving a Square by reinterpreting it as a Lifetime Learning assignment might Return us to Balance, that hardly makes an Octile a “Semisquare” or half of a Lifetime Frustration, as Ego astrology would have it.

Now a Trioctile combines the Eighth and Third Harmonics.  The Third Harmonic is the Empress, symbol of Love with Wisdom.  So we end up with Returning to Balance through Love and Wisdom!  Can we think of a more Desirable Strategy?  We abbreviate this interpretation as Insight.

When a third planet sits at the Far Midpoint of a Square, this third planet is Trioctile to both ends of the Square.  Even if we’ve Reframed our Squares as Exciting Explorations, they’re still Difficult, since Squares never get Effortless for us.  So if we can get a Double Insight about them, we’re Golden!

Ego astrology calls this Trioctile Yod Configuration a “Thor’s Hammer,” with all the Marvel-Comics baggage about Destruction.  As we mentioned, we chose a more neutral (because it’s foreign and probably unknown to most English-speakers) Norwegian term for Thor’s Sledge, “Mjölnir.”  I don’t know if Norwegians read Marvel Comics or not, so it may have been better to use the Vedic term Vajra.  At any rate, the interpretation we use for the Mjölnir is Epiphany – Insight Squared.

To better illustrate our new Trioctile Yin Gate, here it is without all of the other lines on the chart, and with the Octile family Angles drawn in purple…

We Recognize a Yin Gate by its Dos Equis.  In general, the meat of any Configuration lies in its Diagonals, but since interpreting all of those is arduous, we can follow our Quincunx Yin Gate precedent and simplify (ie, Surrender our Need to Figure It Out) by just Expecting to be Encountering Paradox around the central Axis – Abuse/Privilege and Oaths/Limitations, or Nessus and Orcus.  That’ll be great Fun to watch for.

And by the way, if we look at a Square as a Bioctile, we would combine the Eighth Harmonic Return to Balance with the Second Harmonic Ritual.  The shortcoming of Ritual is that it’s generally Dualistic, while the Universe is Unitary and Multifarious.  So if one was a wayward Priest or Priestess, and Returning to Balance meant Returning to your Dualistic Vows, then sure, the Challenges of your Square would simply be Temptations to stray.  But if we want to Live in a Dimension higher than 2D, Dualistic Ritual and Returning to Balance are Difficult or even Oxymoronic mates – hence Rudhyar’s original pronouncement that the Square was the Evolutionary Step that Huperity hasn’t Mastered yet.

And yes, Solar Fire uses the standard Sesquisquare symbol (a square with a bent tail) in the background chart, but the Trioctiles that they’re so indicating don’t apply to the particular Degrees that the Nessus Station chart asks us to use: 12 Degrees ± 3 for Nessus et al, and 12+15 or 27 Degrees ± 3 Degrees for the Octiles to the Nessus Degree.  And the Trioctiles that we’re indicating apply to planets that aren’t on the background chart because Solar Fire doesn’t include them in its library of planets.

The Sesquisquares/Trioctiles that Solar Fire did draw, looking just at those in Zodiac-spanning Configurations, make an interesting frosting for our Yin cake…

Again, the Octile family is drawn in purple.  They make a Trioctile Box.  It makes an interesting collection of Energies that we’re tasked with Returning to Balance…

• Venus, our Inner Female, Values, Heart
• Mars-North Node, our Willingness to Devote our Actions and Energies toward our Mission
• Saturn-South Node, our Willingness to Accept that our Unfinished Business is The Most Important Thing going on
• Ceres, Sustainability

That’s a bundle!  We’re Returning our Gender Identity to Balance, as well as the Sustainability of our Relationship to our Karma (the Octiles), and we can Expect Insights (the Trioctiles) about how Obsolete Values can perpetuate our Karma, and about making our Dedication to our Mission more Sustainable.  Remember that the Other Side of Sustainability is Sustenance, so the last-named may arrive as Insights about what can be eliminated because while it may be Valuable, it isn’t the Core Essence of our Mission.

If we Ask what the Coin is on our Abuse/Privilege Dimension, one excellent candidate is Equality, with Respect thrown in.  So what does today’s news media say about Abuse, Privilege, Equality, Oaths, and Limitations?  A bunch…

The notion that the end user can have any influence on the plastics industry is ridiculous.  When Fascist Governments are unable or unwilling to make laws that protect the Planet because it will impact someone’s profits, only Greed wins.  This is what Government is for, to solve problems that are too big for smaller groups to solve.  When the Fascists control the Government and the media both, the conversation is always Reframed to shift all Responsibility to the People who don’t have the scope to be able to contribute to a real solution.

We should all pile all of our Garbage on the doorsteps of the politicians that we’ve “democratically” elected to solve these kinds of Issues.  That might provide motivation to get them to do their jobs.

Lots coming up here, with the Solstice only a few days away and a Full Moon to guide St. Nicholas on his rounds.  Let’s have a look using December 22 as an anchor, as dwarf planet Haumea – Rebirth – Initiates Mars (Action) that day…

the Initiation takes place at 24 Libra, “A butterfly with a third wing on its left side” – the Yin side…

a Rebirth of Mars as Consort to the Goddess.  Mars Opposes his sister Eris, Revealer of the Denied, who is strongly illuminated.

Eris is the focus of both a Finger of God based on Venus Sextile Jupiter, and a Mjolnir based on Saturn Square Orcus.  Mars is also the focus of a Quintile Yod from the Moon and Chiron.

A Mjolnir -Thor’s Hammer in English – symbolizes Lightning, or sudden and irreversible Illumination of the Darkness.   It’s a third planet at the far Midpoint of a Square, so there’s a Trioctile to the third planet from each end of the Square.  The “Tri” is Love with Wisdom; the “Octile” is Adjustment, Rebalancing.  The Square may be Frustrating, but the Mjolnir‘s Epiphany suddenly makes it Miraculously Easy.

It’s about our Discovering the Roots of our Limiting Oaths.  Gently and Lovingly, but Solidly.

I Wonder…  I’ve Wanted so badly to have or be or do THIS, and I’ve been trying forever but I just can’t Create it.  What if I’m Stopping myself.  I Wonder if I swore some sort of Oath a long time ago, that’s still Blocking me.  Something happened, and I reacted by Swearing never to let that happen again.  It’s like trying to remember a Dream – it’s right there, I can taste it, I can almost see it.  What was it?  It’s not about THIS, but it must be related.  There must be a connection between THIS and that, so my Oath against that stymies THIS.  Ganeshi, would you be willing to Lovingly and Gently remove any obstacles to this Revelation and Rebirth?

Orcus Opposes Neptune, with Saturn T-Squaring them both.  That means Mars-Haumea and Eris each make Trioctile Bridges across the T-Square, and together form a Trioctile Rectangle or Box.  

Boxes are driven by the Oppositions between their corners.

Our Oath seems murky because it was an integral part of our Social Programming; if we had or were or did that, we would be ostracized.  And at that age we had no Survival Skills; it would be certain Death, or on earlier Timelines slavery to a rival Tribe.  This is not Child’s Play, we’ve lived many variations of this Pattern on many Timelines, in many Lives.  With the fate of the Planet in our hands, we all need to Let Go of these Limiting Patterns so we can find our Voice to have and be and do what WE need to have and be and do in order to fulfill our Mission.  It seems small, but one missing piece in a thousand-piece jigsaw puzzle makes a glaring hole.  It may be Child’s Play, as your Oath may have resulted from Games that are Innocent to Children, but Impermissible to adults.

Mars-Haumea is also Sextile to Ixion-Pholus, and this Sextile is the base of a Sedna Finger of God.

Actions taken out of Fear often have Unintended Consequences, because we don’t have time, or a clear head, to think through the outcomes.  And the same is true of Actions NOT taken out of Fear.  While our Oath may have prevented “sins” of Commission, it has almost Certainly been Creating “sins” of Omission.  There are important roles in your Community that you shy away from because you Unconsciously Fear Punishment if you defy your ancient Oath.  Roles meant for you, and Communities with missing pieces.  Our Rebirth can allow us to Take Full Responsibility for our Unique Genius that we’ve been hiding because we Fear it will appear Pathological.  We may have to Tap out some Fear along the way.

Which makes a Trine Fez: Jupiter Trine Sedna Unx Eris Trine Pholus-Ixion Square Jupiter.  

Fezes are driven by the Quincunxes between their corners.

So we have two assignments, both requiring Permanent Curiosity.  There are no Answers here, only Questions.  Where there are Insights, they should introduce more Questions.  It’s not an intellectual exercise, where an Answer eases our Anxiety and we can relax.  We want to Surrender to Wonder, and be Awed by how incredible the Universe works when we Witness our Ego and Act from Ongoing Curiosity instead.

Great Spirit, how can I Safely navigate my Fear about Living my Unique Genius?  I Wonder what I will need to discover in order to Grow into my rightful place in my Community and on the Planet.

Mars-Haumea is also the focus of a Quintile Yod from the Moon and Chiron.  Pluto is the focus of a Quintangle from Juno and the South Node.  The Moon and Juno form the base of a Septangle focused on Ceres.

A Quintile Yod is formed when a third planet is at the far Midpoint between two planets that form a Quintile; the third planet is the focus.  A Quintangle is a third planet at the near Midpoint between two planets forming a Biquintile; again, the third planet is the focus.  A Septangle is a third planet at the far Midpoint between two planets that make a Triseptile, with the third planet as the focus.

We’re Learning here to Trust our Instincts, and to recognize Despair as the sign that Miracles await; we need only Witness our Despair.  “You poor Sweetheart, you really feel Discouraged, don’t you.”  It’s not a Choice; we’re Learning how to Choose Growth in the Edges of our Consciousness instead of continuing to Fear the Edges of our Held Emotions.  Business as Usual is not Sustainable.  We have Instincts that tell us where and how we need to Grow.  We need only to stop ignoring them.

Full Moon 31.7.15 – Time to Act

Galena, Lead Sulfite, the ultimate Grouding Crystal.  Heavy, you only need a little.  Find a small Crystal and keep it in a pill capsule or a small plastic bottle; you don’t want to be handling or inhaling the Lead.  Galena collects and stores Energy that’s not ready to be used yet, so you can use it as a reservoir.

There are places in our Lives where we Hesitate to take full control because no one has given us Permission or Authority to do so.  Power is never Given, only Taken.  These are precisely the places where WE need to Give Ourselves not just Permission and Authority, but a Mandate.  We need to Take the Power.  You know what needs doing.  This Full Moon is the time to Get Started.

There are places in our Lives where we Hesitate to take full control because no one has given us Permission or Authority to do so. 

Power is never Given, only Taken. 

These are precisely the places where WE need to Give Ourselves not just Permission and Authority, but a Mandate. 

We need to Take the Power. 

You know what needs doing. 

This Full Moon is the time to Get Started.

It bears repeating.  Read it again.  And stop Hesitating.  It’s your Mission.

The Full Moon (4am PDT on 31 July – http://www.jbuss.com/tt/pdt4.htm ) is the focus of a Mjolnir Kite across the Square from Chiron to Pholus-Ixion.

The Mjolnir is formed by a third planet at the Far Midpoint of two planets that make a Square – a triangle with a Square on the base and two Triociles for sides.  The Trioctile is about Insight into bringing things back into Balance.  Mjolnir is the Norwegian term for Thor’s Hammer, which isn’t so much about Destruction as about Irresistable Force; Lightning is a common metaphor.  The Hindu Vajra is very similar in meaning.  The Mjolnir is then about Epiphany – Irresistable Insights that are Life-Changing.

The Mjolnir Kite has a fourth planet Opposite the third, or at the Near Midpoint of the Square.  The third planet is the Focus of the Mjolnir, but the fourth planet is the Focus of the Mjolnir Kite.  The Insights and Epiphany pertain to the issues raised by the Square.  The two planet in Opposition provide information about how the Epiphany is revealed.

In this case, the Moon is the Focus of the Mjolnir Kite, and the Opposition is the Full Moon itself – the Epiphany will be revealed through Illumination, Brightly.  No more through a glass darkly here.  The Square joins Chiron – Despair and Miracle – with the Pholus-Ixion Conjunction.  Ixion is about Unconscious Commitment to the point of pathology, and Pholus is about Responsibility to the point of Obsession.  Few of us are willing to let our Ixion out of the cage in the back room.  But if we do, and Take Full Responsibility (not Blame, which looks backward for Cause, but Responsibility, which looks forward for Impact) for it, Miracles await.

Confused?  Good – first stage of Growth, eh?

What are you Discouraged about?  That’s where your Mission is, and that’s where the Miracles are hiding.  You came here to do this, and it takes a whole bunch of Courage to Commit so strongly to what – because there’s no Support, it’s all your project – feels like a Suicide Mission.  Your Support will fall in line after you Take Full Responsibility and Commit – but you’ll be continually Teaching, because your Support has its own Mission that’s tangential to yours.  You can’t just delegate; you need to continue to monitor and stay fully involved.

Chaos Opposes Pholus-Ixion; there is Unlimited Potential here for those who are willing to risk Full Commitment.  Chiron T-Squares this Opposition…

Very scary but Miraculous results if you risk it.  Don’t expect easy going or early success; in fact any success will be partial.  You aren’t in this to succeed; you’re in it because it’s Who You Are.

The Full-Moon and Chaos-Pholus-Ixion Oppositions are Octile and Trioctile to one another, forming a Trioctile Box.

Box or Rectangular Configurations like the Mystic or Golden Rectangle (with Trine and Sextile sides) are all about the Energy in the Oppositions.  The Trioctile Box is about Adjustment, Balance, and Insight.

Giving us emphasis on both the Illumination aspect of the Full Moon and the Full Responsibility-Unlimited Scope aspect of Chaos-Pholus-Ixion, which multiplies the Power of the Mjolnir Kite.

Not only that, but the Opposition between Chaos and Pholus-Ixion, along with the Opposition between Uranus-Eris and Haumea (Rebirth as a result of the Revelation of what’s been Hidden – which is evolving into the first half of 2016), form a Golden Rectangle.  Golden Rectangles are about Grace – if we’re willing to immerse ourselves in the Oppositions.  In other words…

There is information we don’t have yet, and which we may not have until well into 2016.  Rather than wait for the information, you want to Trust your Instincts now, and get started now.  You really do know what your bottom line is, what to you is The Most Important Thing.  That’s all you really need to know.  What do want to Change, and what do you want it to look like after you Change it?  You know that much very well.

Saturn (The Most Important Thing) is Stationary on 1 August at 11pm PDT (http://www.jbuss.com/tt/pdt23.htm ).

There are two aspects to that.  First, where would you deploy them if you had the Resources you need.  And second, what is it that stops you from having those Resources?  Your Desires might seem Selfish, but they aren’t.  Selfish is what people called you because they were afraid of your Passion, and because their Ego was Competing with you.  If you believed you were Selfish then they could preserve their sense of superiority.  This is what Ixion is about – Selfish.  Selfish as an epitaph that slows you down, and Selfish as a Full Commitment to set everything else aside and Focus on your Most Important Thing.

So we need to drop any Shame or Hesitation we feel about Wanting what we’ve always Wanted – those are the Resources we need to Create our Most Important Thing.  Who will be upset with you if you put your own Wants first, ahead of theirs?  It’s not that they are holding you back; it’s your Limiting Beliefs about what will happen if you jet ahead.  Holding back isn’t an option any more; you’ll just have to find out what will really happen.  It’ll probably be quite different from what you imagine – our Limiting Beliefs are like that.

Makemake III

Phantom Quartz would be an excellent companion when Makemake is lit up.  Here Chlorite (green clay) has been deposited on the Crystal face as it was growing, and later enveloped by the Quartz as it resumed its growth.  Chlorite Quartz and Phantom Quartz are both great Healers that speak to us about the layers of unexpressed and condemned Self that are occulted inside of us.  These layers would otherwise speak to us through self-sabotage, having no other practical way to circumvent our Denial of their existence.

With a cap like that, Oblio could have escaped banishment.  Maybe we’ll call a configuration like this an “Oblio.”  If you don’t know Oblio’s story, it’s a delightful classic Harry Nilsson made-for-TV animation called The Point.  Netflix and Amazon both carry it, and I’m sure one of your favorite video streaming outfits does too.

Makemake III (or Ia)

The second core of the Makemake discovery chart involves many of the same players – in fact, if we weren’t in the process of discussing the Fez, we probably would have chosen this complex for the key process…

The two Squares in the Fez are each one side of a T-Square, which connects both T-Squares to the Grand Trine, which makes for a very fortuitous chart, as the T-Squares provide motivation to spur “the Native” (ie, Makemake) into using the Grand Trine constructively. 

Here’s the dance…

The T-Squares are the dark red triangles.

A couple of things pop out.  First, the Grand Trine is actually a Kite, with Makemake hisself at the Focus.  Makemake has a very good agent!

A fourth planet midway along one side of a Grand Trine creates a Kite – as in all of the blue lines in the picture above.  The name should be obvious.  The fourth planet becomes the Focus of the whole Kite.

With such a fortuitous placement…

We have to consider Makemake a great benefic.  Of course to benefit from its Grace we’ll need to Master that Moon-Pluto Stallion.

The Moon-Pluto T-Square

As we spoke of in the Makemake II post.  So now we don’t just have an Out-of-Bounds Moon sitting on a Stationary Pluto, but it’s also the focus of a T-Square!  Which forces us to conclude that…

Makemake is “here” to help us learn how to Manifest. 

Lord knows we need that, as our reductive Plan-Execute masculine process of making things is beyond bankrupt.  And it appears that Makemake had a similar role on Rapanui.

The base of the Moon-Pluto T-Square is the Juno-Makemake Opposition, the spine of the Kite.  Which tells us that…

The Manifestation processes that Makemake will be teaching us are all about the Edge of our Consciousness.

The Juno-Makemake Opposition, as the spine of the Kite, has two Trine-Sextile Bridges, one with Ceres (Sustainability) and one with Lilith-Saturn (which, as the focus of the second T-Square, we’ll talk about shortly)…

So Makemake will be teaching us how to Manifest Sustainably – another thing we much need!

And two Quincunx Bridges (the green lines), to the Nodes, with Eris Conjunct the North Node…

We need to approach the Edges of our Consciousness and Identity as a Mystery, with Curiosity.  Of course, this is a T-Square, so it won’t all be wine and roses – unless we remember and appreciate the curriculum.

The Lilith-Saturn T-Square

The second T-Square is focused on Lilith-Saturn…

The other major lesson, though much less intense than our Manifestation homework, is Andogyny.  Combining the Yindependence of Lilith with the Discipline of Saturn.  While it’s clear from this Conjunction that The Most Important Thing will be our Yindependence, it’s also clear that Lilith’s wild Yintegrity will be tempered by the fatherly influence of Saturn.

If we’re going to aver this, we should check the status of Venus and Mars.  A Lilith-Saturn form of Androgyny is much more sophisticated and “adult” than the sort of Venus-Mars Androgyny that we’re used to considering.  Venus is in a Waxing Sextile to Mars.  The Cycle that they recently started is about “A woman, fecundated by her own Spirit, is ‘great with child’: A total reliance upon the dictates of the God-within” – 17 degrees of Scorpio.  Intense.

So we’ll be learning to fertilize our own eggs.

The base of this T-Square is the Nodal Opposition, with of course Eris on the North Node.  Which tells us…

That we learn these skills by Letting Go of our dysfunctional Karmic Patterns, and in particular that we take Responsibility for them.  As in Able to Respond, not as in Blame.  It’s not about Retribution, it’s about Inertia.  The key here will be recognizing when we’re playing the part of the Victim in our drama, and rewriting the script.

We don’t have a Trine-Sextile Bridge across the Nodal Axis, but Lilith-Saturn is a corner of the Grand Trine and shoulder of the Kite.

So we get a whole lot of help making our Androgynous Consciousness Sustainable.

That is, dancing with Juno and Ceres.  We do have a Quincunx Bridge across this Opposition, and it’s the same double QBridge that we have for the Moon-Pluto T-Square; the base of each T-Square is the Quincunx Bridge for the other.

We need to approach our Karma and our Mission as Mysteries, with Curiosity.  We will no longer be able to deny our Deepest Desires.  Of course, this is a T-Square, so it won’t all be wine and roses – unless we remember and appreciate the curriculum.

When we Recover an element of our Soul that we repressed earlier, it comes to us at the age when we repressed it.  So our Deepest Desires (which are often forbidden to us to make them more provocative) are often 2 years old, or 14.  Some may even have been repressed when we still lived in caves and scored our dinner by throwing rocks.  So yes, absolutely, there will be chaos at first, as we all go around saying “Goo” or “Ugh.”  But remember too that once we lovingly and gently accept those regressed parts of ourself, they’ll age very quickly, making the chaos short-lived.

The Quincunx Box

A Mystic Rectangle is formed by two parallel Trines separated by Septiles.  When two Squares are parallel you get a Grand Cross.  Two parallel Quintiles would be separated by Trideciles.  Two parallel Trioctiles would be linked by Octiles.  And two parallel Quincunxes have Semisextiles between their ends.  In all cases, the angles add to 360 degrees, filling the circle, and the figure created is symmetrical. 

These comprise the Box family of Configurations.  All of them are Energized by the Oppositions that connect the corners.  All are important, as they add to 360 degrees, completing the Circle.

So the green rectangle in the picture above could stand on its own as a legitimate, important Configuration.  We could call it “Makemake Ib.”  Here the themes are

• Karma and Mission (the Nodes),
• Fourth-Step Inventory (Eris on the North Node),
• the Growing Edge of Consciousness (Juno),
• Manifestation (Makemake),
• Forward Progress (the Nodal “Coin”),
• Overcoming Resistance (as in blocks in Consciousness interrupting the Manifestation process – the Juno-Makemake Coin),
• Curiosity (the Quincunxes), particularly about
  • Consciousness of our Karma (Juno-South Node) and about how
  • Lying to ourself doesn’t work (Makemake-North Node/Eris)
• Pattern-Breaking (the Twelfth-Harmonic Semisextiles), especially
  • Bringing our Deepest Desires into Full Consciousness (Juno-North Node/Eris)
  • Manifesting Bummers (as a heuristic showing us what happens when we don’t bring our Karma into Consciousness – South Node-Makemake)

There’s a microcosm of the whole chart, right there.  It lacks the emphasis of that extraordinarily strong Moon-Pluto, and doesn’t introduce directly the Androgyny of the Lilith-Saturn combination, but it summarizes the core issue, which we could consider to be…

Makemake is about taking Responsibility for our own Creations.  As Seth said, our self-sabotaging Patterns are writ large in our Personal History.  All we have to do is read the book.  

Eclipse Three

We focus on the Angles between the planets here because the Angles tell us how the Energies relate to one another.  Not that planets in Signs aren’t important, we just think that the Angles provide deeper information.  Angles become more prominent when they combine into Configurations – by now you’re all familiar with Grand Crosses and Grand Trines, for instance, like the Uranus-Pluto-Jupiter-Mars Grand Cross that’s challenging our Identity this month, and the Sun-Juno to Pallas to Chariklo-Quaoar-Galactic Center Grand Trine we spoke of in Eclipse and Eclipse Too.

There is a whole class of Configurations based on a “Box,” where two Angles of the same Harmonic are parallel to one another.  The Mystic Rectangle is one, for example, with two parallel Trines separated by two parallel Sextiles.  Even the Grand Cross is a member of this class.  This Eclipse features a Biseptile Box, where two parallel Biseptiles are separated by two parallel Binoviles…

Two Biseptiles (2 x 103) and two Binoviles (2 x 80) don’t quite add up to 360 degrees, so the “slop” (Orb or Sensitivity) between the Angles has to line up right.  We usually use three degrees of Sensitivity, so that’s not too hard.

Biseptiles manifest the Seventh Harmonic, or the principle of Power Applied at the Right Time for Maximum Impact.  It involves a lot of “keeping your powder dry.”  Binoviles are part of the Ninth Harmonic, the principle of Introversion, Self-Examination, and Meditation.  So a Biseptile Box would be about

Reviewing our Effectiveness at Using Power to further our Goals.  

We can’t shy away from Power; remember what the Wormwood Deva said in Findhorn Garden – something on the order of “We respect Power because it allows us to serve God better.”  And that very much includes PIAVA Power.

By and large, the Energies in the Boxes are driven by the Oppositions.  In the current example the Oppositions are the Eclipse itself, and Jupiter Opposite Pluto.

You understand that the major Energy in April is about the Uranus-Pluto-Jupiter-Mars Grand Cross, or a continuation and intensification of our 2012-2015 Work manifesting our True Self and dropping our Masks.  The relationship between this Yintegrity Work and the Eclipse is about

Reviewing our Effectiveness at Owning and Using our Power to Express our True Self.

Given the Asteroids and Stars that are showing up to help out,

We can expect to be confronted by our “Excuses” for avoiding our Yintegrity.  If you’re aware that awkward situations like these may be arising over the next while (the impact of an Eclipse spans 6-18 months), it can help you choose to support yourSelf instead of backing down and reverting to your customary subterfuges.

When that seems to run contrary to your programming – “Be Nice now” is a great example! – you need to PIAVA how you can “Be Nice” AND stay in Yintegrity.  Contradictions occur only in the mind, never in Reality.  To overcome your programmed Self-Abandonment, all you really need to do is stay Open to Both/And.
