Lachesis-Chiron 2

What would have been Lachesis-Chiron 1 is part of the previous, Recess Portal, post.  Lachesis Cycles muscled their way into the previous post, which was to be a post about Recess, and serendipitously turned out to be momentous.  Taking advantage of that Intuitive Intrusion, let’s focus on Lachesis Cycles for a while.

Asteroid Lachesis, after all, is all about Choosing our Timelines Consciously, which when we get the hang of it we can use for Terminating Karmic Patterns, Ending Self-Sabotage, Enjoying Abundance (which means Having Enough to Share), Stopping Abuse, Converting Fear to Power, Co-Creating What We Want, and a zillion other Transformations.

A Timeline is any sequence of Time or Life that features a specific Pattern or Habit or Characteristic.  A Lifetime is a Timeline.  A Career is a Timeline.  A Relationship is a Timeline.  A Hobby is a Timeline.  An Obsessive or Repeating Thought or Feeling is a Timeline.  A Quality of Life is a Timeline.  If anyone doesn’t understand what a Timeline is, please leave a comment, and I’ll try to explain further.

Be Mindful that most of us have been programmed into Dualities, making it difficult to even Imagine Living without them.  When we PIAVA Abundance, for instance, do we simply push our Scarcity into the closet, where it can pull our strings behind our back?  We have to recognize that in the Real World (as opposed to the Snapshots we Create of it in our minds), Abundance and Scarcity are the same Dimension.

When we look at this Dimension with Self-Love and Self-Confidence it appears to us as Abundance or Gratitude.  When we look at it through the eyes of Fear and Doubt or Anxiety, it’s painted in Scarcity or Envy.  This is the Nature of a Participatory Universe, as Gregg Braden calls it.  Our Expectations are as Powerful as, or more Powerful than, External Reality.

♥ The Lachesis-Chiron Cycle is about Learning to Choose to End any Discouraging Patterns in our Life – for instance by Discerning them and then Poor-Sweethearting them.

The current Lachesis-Chiron Cycle began 20 January 2018 in 26 Pisces, “Watching the very thin Moon Crescent appearing at Sunset, different people realize that the time has come to go ahead with their different projects.”  The first Sunset appearance of a Crescent Moon, which occurs several days after each New Moon, is indeed a Time to Begin New Projects, and there’s no better Project than Choosing to End Discouraging Patterns in our Life.

The chart of the Chiron-Lachesis Initiation and hence of the Cycle…

…has two important features.  First, the overall Configuration is a Yin Gate.  A Yin Gate is about Eschewing Binary Logic and Accepting Paradox, and the crux of this one is the Contrast (Opposition) between Fear (Sedna) and Action Directed toward Respect for All Things (Mars-Hopi).  Of course if you’ve been through February’s Sedna action you’ll be Kegeling Fear into Power and working with the Contrast between Power and Action Directed Toward Respect for All Things.

Contrast is a Binary sort of thing that Paradox leaves behind, so our first step would be to Realize that we need to be Open to Learning New Things and Appeal to the Great Unconscious (ie, everything we don’t know and most especially what we don’t know that we don’t know) by using PIAVA.  Like maybe “I Wonder if I have any Power to Increase Respect in the World” followed closely by Changing the Subject so we’re actually Open to Receiving New Perspectives rather than getting Assaulted with the same barrage of Tired Old Metaphors that the intellect always trots out to keep us from Growing past our Limitations.

Whatever Insights we get tomorrow may Inform the “New Projects” we are to begin now.  Currently, this Cycle is at the Waxing Unx stage, which means that the New Energy in this Cycle is just going Underground in order to Subvert the Efforts of the remaining Investors in the Old Cycle to maintain their Profits from it.  So if your Insight suggests that you Go Public with a big PR campaign, that’s not inadvisable, but do be Prepared to Expect a slow start and a long slow slog at getting Attention and Respect for your Agenda.

Otherwise, work it Underground.  The Cambridge Analytica method of manipulating the Great Manipulator Facebook to set up arguments that can only come down to the Conclusion you want, are well described in https://www.wired.com/story/italy-five-star-movement-techno-utopians/.  If you’re working this as an aspect of Personal Growth, Gregg Braden’s book The Spontaneous Healing of Belief has a rather fascinating exercise devoted to Exposing your Self-Sabotaging by still-Unconscious Beliefs, at pp.90-97.

Second, the Chiron-Lachesis Initiation itself makes a T-Square (Challenge) on the Opposition between dwarf planets Chaos (Unlimited Potential) and Ixion (Forbidden Genius).  That’s Big, as it means that this Cycle will go a long way toward Informing us about the Leap Forward that awaits us when we finally Love our Forbidden Genius into the forefront of our everyday Personality.

This isn’t the time for a suite of essays about the intricacies of the Yin Gate Configuration, but the base of the Chiron-Lachesis T-Square is one of the Oppositions in the Yin Gate, just not the central, Paradox-Leading Opposition.  The blue box enclosing the Yin Gate is a “Golden Rectangle,” so colored because the ratio of its ends to its sides is the Golden Ratio of Sacred Geometry fame.

A Golden Rectangle on its own is a fountain of Blessings, which is usually Interpreted using the diagonal Oppositions – here Ixion-Chaos and Haumea (Rebirth) to Uranus-Eris-Moira (which Offers us the Choice of Continuing Suffer the Negative Impact of Denying our Separation from our Soul, or Owning Up to it and Facing the Resulting Ego Death).

We Interpret an Opposition maximally by focusing on the Coin rather than the Heads or the Tails.  The Coin of Haumea to Uranus-Eris-Moira is simply Facing the Music and getting on with our Growth.  The Coin of Ixion-Chaos is Transcending our Limitations.  This is a very Powerful Golden Rectangle, particularly for anyone aspiring to move from 3D to 5D.

But when we add the central Opposition and create a Yin Gate, we’ve now greatly complicated the Golden Rectangle’s Oppositions, adding a third, and adding four crossed Quincunxes, symbolizing the sort of Curiosity which Seeks Answers at its own Peril.  I’ll let you Interpret the Quincunxes.

Consider this…

After this last week’s 6 March Chaos-Station (Unlimited Potential) Vesta-Neptune (Allowing Spirit to Ventilate our Beliefs) New Moon, the “very thin Moon Crescent appearing at Sunset” was visible last evening (10 March).  Indeed a Time to Begin New Projects, and as we said, there’s no better Project than Choosing to End Discouraging Patterns in our Life.

And, the current Angle between Lachesis and Chiron is a Sextile (two Signs), implying Blessings on any Project where we make the first Effort.  So we can pick a Chronic Affliction (Physical, Emotional, Mental, Spiritual, or Other) or two (not too many), and bring out all of our Big Guns to Change it – Tapping, Theta, Unseen Therapist, Poor-Sweetheart, etc., not at all to exclude any other Tools you brought with you!

For instance, suppose we’re Spending Time worrying about Scarcity.  That could Create more Scarcity for us, but we can’t just Power-Over Scare-City, or it really will Procreate itself.  Manifestation advice suggests avoiding Negation, but Negativity has its place.  If our thoughts are on Scarcity we have to be honest with ourself about it before we can Change it.  In fact, we can’t Change anything until we Accept it Exactly as it is.  That’s why we Tap on “Even though I’m Obsessing about Scarcity, I Deeply and Completely Love and Accept Myself…”

But if we’re Affirming or Praying or Intending or Visualizing or Commanding, or another PIAVA, we do want to Avoid Negation.  We want to Affirm More Abundance rather than Less Scarcity, Safety rather than No More Abuse.

30 Years

There’s been so much going on that I completely forgot to Celebrate the 30th Anniversary of these arcane articles, in their various forms.  We started them, in a hardcopy paper newsletter, just after 1 January 1988, as an effort to help folks recognize that the Harmonic Convergence Reboot of Life on Planet Earth would Trigger some very Intense Energies, and that the Energies weren’t Personal, even though everyone would have their Personal Reactions and Responses to them.

To me the Harmonic Convergence consisted of the complex sequence of Dances that occurred around the Tropic of Capricorn between 1987 and 1993 among Expansion/Jupiter, Focus/Saturn, Healing/Chiron, Soul/Uranus, Spirit/Neptune, and Transformation/Pluto.  We didn’t have any “dwarf” planets then.  It’d be fun to see how the dwarf planets, then Unconscious, interacted with the Convergence planets, but I probably won’t have time to do that till later in 2018.

Self-Love Eclipse III

Which interview is every bit as important just now.  I know most of you don’t click on links or play inclusions, but I encourage you to play this one.

The current Eclipse is much more specific than the August Hiding.  Both the Septile chart in the previous post, and the “Major” Angle chart below, form Chrysalises.  They signify that, recently Reborn from last week’s Haumea Station (https://astrobuss.wordpress.com/2018/01/24/timelines-iii/), we’re about to dry our Wings and take Flight. 

The basic theme of the Eclipse is Making Self-Love Sustainable (Sappho and Ceres), and it’s not even a Challenge.  The Challenge is to Trust our Intuition (Asbolus) more than our Oaths (Orcus), most of which are Obsolete.  Especially the Oaths which have gone Unconscious and morphed into Limiting Beliefs.  When your Intuition says Go Beyond That, do it.  It will be Confusing (Neptune), but that’s the first sign of Growth beyond Stasis, so Let Confusion be.  It’s not about Matter, its about Spirit, so it’s beyond Understanding, and it’s very counterproductive to try to squeeze it into that straightjacket.

Your best friend will be Consciously Letting Go of any Impediments to your Self-Sovereignty (Hylonome-Lilith).  Get yourself a red hat and embroider on it Make Me Great Again!  You just don’t have to be an Asshole about it like certain other hat-wearers.  But you do want to Reset your Boundaries so they serve You.  Win-Win by all means.  Take a Fearless and Searching Inventory of Explicit and Implicit Agreements where you Dance the Losing side of Win-Lose, and PIAVA to Change them.  Then Change the Subject, and Let your Higher Self – your Intuition – do the actual Renegotiation of the Agreements.  Don’t try to do it with your mind.

Self-Love Eclipse II

We can extend that to our Self-Love.  She continues…

“People or circumstances in your life may seem to hold power over you leading you to believe that you are trapped and cannot move beyond or change something.  Realize that anything you bestow power on, be it person, place, or thing, will continue to hold that power until you and you alone remove it.  Once power is given, it will continue to act as a power maintaining and sustaining whatever issues are involved simply because it continues to be fed and kept alive by belief and fear.

Last week’s Perfection of Timing (Grand Septile), at https://astrobuss.wordpress.com/2018/01/20/timelines/, has evolved back into the sort of Chrysalis Configuration that we saw the week prior (https://astrobuss.wordpress.com/2018/01/13/times-up-i/), while the Grand Septile was forming.  A Chrysalis invites us to Break Out and Fly.

There are two major foci in this chart of the 31 January (5:30 am PST) Self-Love Total Lunar Eclipse, which occurs just a day after Perihelion, close enough to be considered a “Supermoon.” 

One major focus is Confusion (Neptune) – Material Confusion and Spiritual Clarity.  Its corresponding minor focus is Manifestation (Makemake), advising us that at this Time we’ll Manifest more Easily by Extending our Vibrations, as Dan Scranton’s Arcturian friends often advise us (eg https://astrobuss.wordpress.com/2018/01/20/timelines/), rather than using Plan-Execute or other Dynamic Creation techniques.

The other major focus is Letting Go of the False Values which Cement our Karma to us (Venus-South Node).  Ultimately our Values derive from our Heart’s Truth, but they are always subject to intellectual Interpretation.  And many are left over from our Programming.  The combination of Programming and Interpretation can make them Toxic.  Time to Clean them Up.  Your circumstances will show you what needs Revision.  The corresponding minor focus is our Mission (North Node); Aligning our Values with our Mission will accelerate the Planet’s Growth.

Self-Love Eclipse I

If something is Eclipsed, it often means it’s Hidden or Obliterated…

But we see things differently here, because to us an Eclipse Illuminates by its Absence something that we never noticed because it was Omnipresent.  So to us an Eclipse is an Opportunity to Open Wide a new Window into the Unconscious.  The Ego likes to think it’s in Charge, because that’s what it’s Supposed to do, and it Feels Good to do a good job.  But it’s our Unconscious Patterns, Habits, Programming, and Archetypes that run our Life.  When our Life doesn’t Feel Good, it’s Time to Ask the Unconscious what Habits it has running which Sabotage us.

Except perhaps by Hypnosis, we can’t Control the Unconscious, though we can often PIAVA – Pray, Intend, Ask, Visualize, or Affirm – it to Change (see https://astrobuss.wordpress.com/category/manifestation/piava-review/ and https://astrobuss.wordpress.com/category/manifestation/piava/theta/).  Commanding, Wondering (if we’re able to maintain Curiosity as Awe rather than seeking Resolution), and Expanding are also Powerful PIAVA tools, as the links detail.

So when a Window Opens into the Unconscious at an Eclipse we can Discover what we need to Ask For (or PIAVA) in order to Eliminate Self-Sabotage.  On 31 January (5:30 am PST) we’re Graced with a Total Eclipse of the Moon.  We don’t even have to See it to Feel it’s Grace; it’s Energetic as much as it’s Visual.  It’s visible though east of Germany and Tanzania, and west of Newfoundland and Peru – there’s a map at https://eclipse.gsfc.nasa.gov/LEplot/LEplot2001/LE2018Jan31T.pdf.

The Moon symbolizes our Authenticity and the Passion that Allows us to Convert Energy into Matter that holds its shape.  The two go together, as Passion doesn’t evolve from Lack of Authenticity.  So Lunar Eclipses are Opportunities to Manifest What We Want.  This one Conjoins the asteroids Ceres, which represents Sustainability, and Sappho, which stands for Self-Love.  So we’ll be Open here to Discovering and Eliminating any or all Impediments to making our Self-Love Permanently Unconditional.  Unconditional Love of course is the Absence of Fear. 

Ultimately, our Self-Sabotaging Patterns are rooted in Fear.  Dylan Charles writes that “Anxiety, depression, and fear ravage so many today, but few pause to consider that in addition to the material influences in our lives, we may be also under the influence of beings which exist in dimensions outside of our ordinary perception.  But there is much more to reality than what we can see. feel, hear, taste and touch.”  There are a number of useful ways to Conceptualize these influences, but Dylan goes on to describe how Rudolph Steiner saw them…

“Finding oneself in the rut of spiraling negative self-talk, depression, crippling anxiety, or uncontrollable, irrational fear, is a sign, as Steiner points out, of a disconnection from our true spiritual nature, exacerbated by beings who operate in the spiritual realms.”  I encourage you to read his article.  In addition to Recovering from Overwhelm, this is one of the reasons we encourage you to Tap Out or Kegel your Fear.

When a new Energy emerges into Consciousness it’s often useful to Personalize it – that’s why folks throughout Space-Time have tried to name Gods, Goddesses, Demons, and Daemons.  The very Magic in Earthsea (https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2016/10/17/the-fantastic-ursula-k-le-guin) was based partly on Naming.  Self-Love, and its correlate Forgiveness, may be easier if we Externalize our Self and give it a Name – preferably our own.  We don’t necessarily use a name there, but that’s the process we use when we Poor-Sweetheart ourself.

Then we can look in the Mirror and say to ourself, “I Love You, [Your Name]” or “I Love You, Sweetheart.”  The objective is to Notice every twitch of Discomfort that arises when you do that, then Poor-Sweetheart it, Tap it Out, Kegel it, write it down and Embrace it later, do everything you can to Make It Absolutely Your Own. 

Authenticity, Self-Love, and Self-Sovereignty are highly intertwined.  The day after the Eclipse, a new eleven-year Cycle around Letting Go of Impediments to our Self-Sovereignty begins, so at the Eclipse we’ll also be Feeling that Energy Strongly…

The Sailor in this Metaphor is your Ego, and the Albatross is the Unconscious.  Most of us don’t Intentionally Abandon our Self-Sovereignty, it’s our Unconscious Habits, Karma, and Archetypes that Abandon us.  While you’re Loving yourself by name in the Mirror, you might also try saying things like “I Have Absolute Power over My Actions and Desires” and Noticing whatever thoughts or Emotions or other Discomfort arise to the Contrary.  Then you can work on Poor-Sweethearting, Tapping Out, and otherwise PIAVAing your Embrace of the Discomfort.

Timelines III

On 23 January (9am PST) dwarf planet Haumea, which symbolizes Rebirth, reached its semiannual Peak of Influence, which is to say it Stood Still in the Sky.  The chart of its Station will take its place among the many charts vying to influence the next six months.

The Earth is still spinning, so nothing really Stands Still in the Sky, but if you take a snapshot every night at midnight (assuming you’re standing where the Stationary planet is in the Night Sky so the Sun doesn’t blot out your view of the Heavens), you’ll see that the planet really does Stand Still).  And of course the planet is still orbiting the Sun, so no planet really Stands Still.  But from our Perspective, as we also orbit the Sun, we “pass” each of the outer planets twice a year. 

That’s what astrology means by a Stationary planet.  “Tropical” astrology that is – Tropical astrology places planets in a chart relative to where the Sun is on the Northern Spring Equinox (the Aries Point or Cusp of Aries).  So the background stars shift a bit every year (about 50.4 arcseconds per year, one arcminute every 434.5 days or so, one Degree every 72 years or so).  So Tropical astrology is really based on the Seasons, not the Stars.

Of course, now the Seasons are Changing, with Spring coming a bit earlier every year.  I haven’t heard about anyone trying to adjust for that; for astrological purposes the “Spring Equinox” is defined as the moment when the Sun in the Sky stops moving toward the North Pole (or higher off the Southern Horizon at Noon than it was yesterday) and starts moving back toward the Equator (or lower in the Sky at Noon than yesterday).  So far that hasn’t Changed, but stay tuned…

The Haumea Station chart is another case of a Large-Scale Configuration with a zit on the side…

Here the main Configuration is a Yin Gate – a “Golden” (blue) Rectangle divided in two long-wise to give us dos equis verdes.  The Rectangle is “Golden” because the ratio of the lengths of the sides is the Golden Angle of Sacred Geometry fame.  A Yin Gate is a Mystery School that Challenges us to Accept Paradox as the Mystery that it is, without trying to “Resolve” Contradictions or otherwise reduce them to pedantic Either/Ors.  The mind is Dualistic, while Reality is Unitary and Multifarious, so any time we Limit ourselves to Either/Ors we aren’t actually looking at the World, just our 2D mental snapshot of it.  Say Cheese! 

Yin Gates provide the Opportunity to move beyond that Limit, if we’re capable of seizing it.  The basic Paradox here     is about Defending (Mars-Hopi) Fear (Sedna).  A good friend of mine is a rock climber who, when asked about the Terror, remarked matter-of-factly that he just Reframed it – “No, that’s not Fear, it’s Excitement.”  Well, okay. 

Active Respect for All Fears is what Mars-Hopi prescribes, as well as Consciousness that Fear is a gut Reaction to the places where our Respect for All Things fails. 

The “zit on the side” becomes the star of the show – Lachesis-Chiron.  Lachesis is the “Fate” who measures the length of the Timeline, and Chiron represents Despair and Miracle.  Of course we convert Despair into Miracles by Empathizing with our Despair, by Poor-Sweethearting for instance.  The worst kind of Despair is “Unconscious” Despair (where we don’t even consider that What We Want could evolve, because we can’t conceive of the Possibility that it could happen).  So, since we root for Consciousness over Fate, we’ll have Opportunities to Choose to Annul any Contracts that have led us toward Hopelessness.

We can be proactive about it – as Mars suggests – by examining any “Stops” we have between us and What We Want.  What is it that refuses to give us Permission to Receive it?  Maybe we Believe it would Hurt someone if we Got What We Want.  What if we could Get in a way that didn’t Hurt anyone?  I know, that’s not possible, is it.  But there is a way, it’s just Hidden.  You’ll need to PIAVA to find it.  Poor-Sweethearting your Hopelessness and Frustration will help too.

The Lachesis-Chiron pustule is the peak of a T-Square across the Ixion-Chaos Opposition.  So part of the Liberation from Despair for us will involve our Forbidden Genius, who’s familiar with territory far beyond what our usual Self knows.  Close your eyes and Feel around out there beyond the Edge of your World.  What’s the first thing that comes to mind. 

Maybe Scary, maybe so far “out of character” for you that you’re Overwhelmed.  Maybe it’s Exciting, but the Journey between here and there seems exhausting.  Kegel the Fear.  Imagine what you’d Do if you didn’t have to worry about staying “in character.”  Give yourself a Magic Carpet to get to Excitement.  These are Seeds you’re planting.  You don’t have to grow the Leaves, you just have to Water it – that is, spend some time Imagining what’s out there beyond the Edge of your World.

That’s two of the three Oppositions, Mars/Hopi to Sedna, and Chaos to Ixion.  The third is Stationary Haumea/Rebirth itself, Opposite to Uranus/Soul, Eris/Revelation, and Moira/Choice – or Fate, if we fail to Accept the Power to Choose.  Power is never Given, only Taken.  It’s hard to Imagine making Choices that we don’t know are Possibilities.  Spending time out there with Zaphod Beebelbrox’s Infinite Improbability Machine is useful.  Since on some level you do have at least a vague idea about What You Want, Imagination is at your Service.  If you dismiss it as Fantasy, all the better.

Given all the Nessus activity lately, some of us may Feel Cursed or Fated (Moira) to be forced to Uncover (Eris) Memories of Trauma that inhibit the Expression of our Soul Self (Uranus).  Others of us may Choose (Moira) to Invite such Memories into our Lives, in order to bring our Ego closer to our Soul.  The two situations may Feel the same.

Haumea Retrogrades over 26-24 Libra, repeating the territory we’ve covered since September 2017.  That’s the Cusp of the Leo portion of Libra, meaning that what we’re Learning here is how to be Fully Unabashedly ourSelf in our Relationships with Other.  We’ve had some Practice with that over the last few months; now we’ll get to Review and Debrief what we’ve Learned.  We don’t have to Push it; our final exams aren’t until August 2019.  Take your time, but get all the Practice you can.

Timelines IIb

Did we provide the Timing for the Nemesis-Nessus Initiations?

An Initiation, by the way, is “just” a Conjunction – when one planet passes another in the Sky, but if the Conjunction stutters (planets are Curious Beings; often when they pass another planet they’ll turn around and come back for a second and third look, and sometimes more), only the first Conjunction in a series is an Initiation. 

The slower a planet is, the “wiser” its influence.  So when a slower planet Initiates a faster one, it’s like the faster planet is giving Shakipat to the slower planet.  The Initiation “informs” the subsequent Cycle.  For instance, Nemesis-Nessus Cycles last four years and four months, give or take, and the current Cycle begins at 6 Pisces, which means “A parade of army officers in full dress.”  So the next four years plus… 

A Nemesis-Nessus Cycle is about Healing Abuse.  Well, more generally it’s about the current-moment Relationship between Ego Death and Abuse or Privilege.  But here we Strive for greater Consciousness, Healing, and Self-Love, so of course we’ll be talking about Healing from Abuse when “Ego Death and Abuse or Privilege” is Lit Up. 

Ego Death is what we almost always have to endure in order to actually make a significant Change in our Lives.  It isn’t always Painful, but often is, as one of the early steps in Ego Death is being forced somehow to Re-Experience the events that led to the formation of our Current Ego.  Now Ego is a good thing – it’s the part of our Psyche that’s in charge of our Survival.  Which means that Ego Death is always Scary.

It Feels like “I am DYING!” which is true, but the accent is on the wrong syllable.  It’s really “<I> – my Olde Ego – is Dying,” or Molting.  If you’re a Narcissistic Duck with the Fairest Feathers of Them All, “you” Die every year when your old Feathers fall off.  Everyone who wears their skeleton on the outside – Crabs, Snakes, Bugs, Hupers (Psychically), has to Molt in order to Grow.

Some people – we could name many in the news for instance – have significant Healing from Privilege to go through!  Most of us have Privilege in our Karma as well as Abuse, and eventually we’ll have to Heal that too.  Suppose for instance you’re a Middle Child.  As a temporary Last-Born you may have been Privileged with more Attention for a while till your younger sibling was born.  Then you may have Experienced your subsequent Abandonment as Abuse, once your “replacement” got all the Attention. 

And for every Past Life as a Slave, we probably also have one as a Slaveowner.  We may or may not consider Privilege to be “Good” Karma, but Alan Watts always said that it’s harder to Let Go of our Good Karma than it is to Let Go of our Bad Karma.  Even if we Strive toward Abundance, the Path to Abundance lies through Detachment.  And Nothing Changes until we Accept it Exactly As It Is.  We can’t Detach from anything without first Accepting it.

And Acceptance doesn’t mean Tolerance.  By Accepting it we become Conscious of it, and without Consciousness there is no Change.  It’s like Blame and Responsibility – Blame is assigning Causation to something in the Past, Responsibility is Choosing to Respond Differently in the Future in order to Achieve Improved Outcomes.  We have to Accept what Happened in the Past in order to move forward without Rancor that would color what we Create in the Future.

So, for the next four plus years the Relationship between Ego Death and Abuse is about “A parade of army officers in full dress” – we’re likely to find it easier to Heal if we can adopt a formal protocol to structure the process, and if we can do it in the context of Community, where we can “parade” our Successes.  And for the next four years plus we’ll be ahead to reframe all of our Ego Death Experiences in terms of Abuse and Privilege.

Nessus crosses OR10 – Uninvited Memories – on 22 January at 12am PST (midnight Sunday night), and crosses Nessus on 27 January at 5pm PST.  These times Initiate the new Cycles.  When a Cycle wears out, we spend a fair amount of time, usually the last fourth or so of the Cycle, “in the Void” – we’re done with the Old Cycle but the New Cycle hasn’t started yet, which leaves us Wandering in the Wilderness.  So we’ve probably been sort of Disoriented about our Healing from Abuse for the last year or so, but now we’re likely to “get down to work” on it.

Most of us spend the Void phase of a Cycle struggling in vain to keep making the Olde Cycle function like it was.  That’s a terrible waste of Energy, but unless we keep track of the Cycles – who does, anyway! – how are we to know, except Intuitively.  We usually have a Strong Intuition that something is afoot well before (weeks, in the case of a 4-year Cycle?) the Initiation of a New Cycle, though if we’re still clinging to the Olde Cycle, that will Inhibit our Intuition.

Then, Disappointingly, once the New Cycle gets underway in earnest, it seems to Disappear.  That’s because it starts working at the Foundations.  For the first quarter of a Cycle, the New Energy is busy underground battling with Unfinished Business from all of the previous Cycles.  For instance, the last Nemesis-Nessus Cycle began in March 2013 at 27 Aquarius, “An ancient pottery bowl filled with fresh violets.”  At that time, fresh off of the End of Time As We Knew It, most of us were already struggling with Change of all kinds, and hesitated to throw ourself full tilt into Healing our Abuse.

So we saved the Structure (the bowl), even though it was obsolete (ancient), and tried dolling it up a bit with Fresh Flowers.  Violets of course are very Healing for surficial Wounds.  We may even have considered the old Structure to have enduring Value (pottery).  Like the Women who voted for the Antichrist.  But all that’s Changing now that the old Cycle has died, and the Abused are Marching Forward in Full Dress and full Resolve for Change.

Now, everything we’ve talked about so far applies to All of Us.  The Culture will be a macrocosm of our Individual Experiences, and our own Personal Experiences will be a microcosm of the Global Experience, tempered by our own Personal Horoscope.  I know many have been Healing for Decades already.  I think its fair to say that more folks will be drawn to Healing, giving those with Healing Experience more Opportunities for Seva, and to pay the rent, preferably both.

It won’t cover the new dwarf planets like Nessus, or the asteroids; you’ll need to look elsewhere (like the link above, or more expensive Ephemerides) for those, but once you learn how to use an Ephemeris you’ll be off and running.

You’ll Learn a whole lot about Healing your own Abuse by Observing your Experience when the Moon and other planets cross over your natal Nessus and your natal Nemesis.  The Moon is an excellent study guide because it changes position so quickly.  I look for any of the Challenging Angles – a direct crossing, a 90-Degree Angle, 180 Degrees, and 270 Degrees. 

In other words, if your Nessus is at, say, 20 Degrees of Scorpio, then your Nessus would be Lit Up whenever the Moon was at 20 Degrees of Scorpio, 20 Degrees of Aquarius (90°), 20 Degrees of Taurus (180°), and 20 Degrees of Leo (270°).  You’d know it if your natal Nessus was at 20 Scorpio, because Jupiter, which is an Amplifier, would be sitting on it as we speak.  Using those four Angles and the Moon, you’d get to Observe how you Respond to Nessus weekly, enough to get a good handle on it fairly quickly.

The Saturn-Klotho 4-Capricorn Initiation (“Capricorn 4 is ‘A group of people prepare a large canoe for a journey by water’ – starting another Timeline, an Emotional one,” 5pm PST 21 January), points us in that direction…

The chart isn’t as messy as it looks.  Put your thumb over OR10-Nessus-Nemesis at the upper right, and what we have left is a Diamond Star Enhanced by a Grand Trine…

That’s a pretty Exalted chart!  It’s all about Boundaries (Pallas).  The would-be Challenge (the T-Square) is about whether your Boundaries Enhance your Life Force or Drain it (Varuna-Aletheia), and whether your Values Serve your Self-Love or Diminish it (Venus-Sappho).  Which are pretty Fundamental, and Serious, Challenges. 

But it’s a Diamond Star – the “Bowl of Grace” under the T-Square includes What We’re Manifesting (Makemake), and Which Among Our Beliefs are Archaic (Vesta-Karma).  These are “free clues” that, if we’re Open to the Information they provide, will Facilitate our Letting Go of Values that Diminish our Self-Love and Boundaries that Drain our Life Force. 

By PIAVAing Clarity about the Disconnect between What We Want and What Actually Is (Makemake), we can see where we need to go next with our Tapping and Poor-Sweethearting.  And by PIAVAing Loving Awareness of our Archetypes, we can see where we need to Learn new Responses to the World (Vesta-Karma).

Then we have that fat Earth Grand Trine (Dumb-Luck Grace) in the center, promising Great Blessings between our Boundaries (Pallas), our Truth (Veritas), and our New Timeline (Saturn-Klotho-Quaoar).

But where are the promised Emotions?  None of these twelve planets are in Water Signs.  They’re under your thumb – OR10-Nessus-Nemesis in Pisces.  OR10 signifies Intrusive Memories, Nessus represents Abuse, Nemesis symbolizes Ego Death, and Pisces is about Finishing Business with Emotional Baggage.  Yes, that’s all very Threatening, but it’s a zit on the side of a well-organized chart full of incredible Grace. 

So yes, by all means Feel and Embrace any Fear that the Threat of Revisiting your PTSD evokes.  That step is critical, as without it you may have to Re-Experience the Trauma rather than Revisit it.  What to do with Fear?  Certainly Tap it Out (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QzVd6Ww0as4), Breathe (Fear + Breathing = Excitement), and do your Kegels (which in combination with Fear cause Time to slow down so it’s more manageable). 

You may want to enlist an Ally to help keep part of you in the Present Moment.  We Heal first by first Holding our Traumatic Regression and our Present-Moment Safety in our Awareness at the same time – which is why we’ve been practicing Cognitive Dissonance (Holding Contradictory Beliefs without Competition between them) all these years.  And second, by enlisting our Present-Moment Self to Poor-Sweetheart our Regressed Self as a start toward Loving Her Unconditionally and Lovingly Reparenting Her.  Or Him.

We’re describing this as if it’s an easy mechanical process when in fact it’s an Overwhelmingly Emotional process.  But maybe not as Overwhelming as we Fear.  Karma is Dead.  We know that Karma does not Grasp us, we Grasp our Karma, only because it’s a Habit we have.  Our Present-Moment Self and/or our Ally need to Give us Permission to Let Go of the Habit.  Yes, we drop into the Void when we drop that Habit, but Emptiness is the Womb that precedes Rebirth – another important reminder for our Guides to Give us.

And the chart is full of Grace.  Healing our Emotional Baggage is only the Rider; the Enhanced Diamond Star is the Horse.  The Horse can carry you much farther, and with much greater Ease, than you can travel on your own.  And the Timing is Gloriously Right.  Grand Septiles are rare, and if we can use this one to Let Go of Emotional Baggage that stands between us and our Liberation, it’s a phenomenal Blessing.  You know from Experience how Effortless something is when the Time Is Right, and how Impossible the same task can be when the Time Isn’t Right.

One more boon.  Nessus-Nemesis (Letting Go of Trauma) is part of a second T-Square, with Vesta-Karma (Archaic Self-Sabotage) and Veritas (Present-Moment Truth).  This T-Square is Trine-Bridged by Pallas/Boundaries – the primary Benefactor of the original Enhanced Diamond Star…

So, what would happen if there was an additional planet Opposing Saturn-Klotho, at 4 Cancer?  We’d have another Diamond Star, which would greatly Ease the whole Letting-Go-of-Emotional-Baggage process.  A Vacancy in an almost-Major-Configuration becomes the Power Point of the chart, because if we can Consciously provide that Energy, we Complete the Configuration and Balance the Energy – the astrological equivalent of Tapping. 

Cancer 4 is “A cat arguing with a mouse.”  That’s our Doubt, Anxiety, and Lack of Trust.  Arguments are Either/Or contests, Energy-wasting Diversions.  So we need to be Hypervigilant for these Mental Noises, Poor-Sweetheart them, Tap Out the Anxiety, thank them for attempting to contribute, Chuckle at them Tenderly, and send them away with instructions to return when they’ve Negotiated Win-Win.  They’re likely to come back with the password to Smaug’s hoard.

Timelines

I don’t know how many folks know intuitively what a “Timeline” is.  Yes, certainly a Lifetime is a Timeline, and a multidimensional one.  Within that Lifetime there can be many Timelines.  Those of us with a Strong Pluto know what I mean when I speak of “having many Lifetimes in one” – we have many phases in our Life which are relatively separate from all the others.  You’ll meet someone you know fairly well, but you can’t remember how or when you know them from – because you knew them in a different Timeline.  It’s the same for everyone else, just not as extreme – every time we Change jobs, or cities, or Attitudes, we start a new Timeline.  Sometimes a Dream can start a new Timeline.

The Greeks wrapped this into their Mythology; the Goddess Klotho was in charge of Creating a new Lifetime/Timeline, Lachesis was in charge of  deciding how long it would last, and Atropos was in charge of Ending it.  There are asteroids named after each.  The three of them were the “Moirai” or “Fates,” and there is also an asteroid named Moira, the singular of Moirai.  One common theme is that not even the Gods can violate Fate, though in other themes some of the Gods have more Power than the Fates.

Accepting one’s Fate is a major theme in most Religions – “Thy Will Be Done,” for instance.  If we set aside the Esoteric branches, the Religions are almost all Either/Or, and we know that Either/Or notions are Political notions.  Political is the adjectival version of Power, a synonym for Ego.  Accepting one’s Fate means Accepting the Status Quo, or Surrendering one’s Power.  If you’re the Victim of Privilege, only Despair or perverted Gratitude keeps you “in your place.”

Fate is what happens to us when we Choose to remain Unconscious.  I know, it sounds weird to cast that as a Choice, since our Karmic Archetypes are so impenetrable that we seldom Notice them, though they’re glaringly obvious to our friends who are too polite to tell us.  There are Dynamic methods for Penetrating the Wall of Unconsciousness, such as Hypnosis, and they can be Chosen.  But Mastery of such Penetration belongs in the realm of the Magnetic.  We PIAVA, Change the Subject, wait a bit, and then Pay Attention.  “I Wonder if my most Self-Sabotaging Archetype will Reveal itself to me.”

On 21 January (5pm PST), Saturn (The Most Important Thing) Initiates Klotho (Starting a New Timeline) in 4 Capricorn, and on 23 January (9am PST), Haumea (Rebirth) Stands Still, which maximizes the Strength of its Impact.  Capricorn 4 is “A group of people prepare a large canoe for a journey by water” – starting another Timeline, an Emotional one.  The Ego and the Status Quo are kind of outnumbered here.

Meanwhile, our Grand Septile (The Time Is Now) Perfects itself, in purple…

On the left side of the chart, the quintessential symbol for our Karmic Archetypes (the South Node) Merges with or Conjoins the symbol for Becoming Conscious (asteroid Juno).  Dancing with this from the right side, the symbol for our Lifetime Mission (the North Node) Merges with the symbol for Sustainability (asteroid Ceres).  The red line, symbolizing Either/Or, defines their Dance together.  It’s not about making a Choice; we Transcend Duality by Choosing Both/And.

So while the Ego still maintains some of its Power, we can do Trial Runs on several possible Timelines, to see Who We Want to Become in the New Space that we’re Birthing into.
