Karmic Digital Age 2

Hope everyone is having Rewarding and Enjoyable Holydays in spite of the impediments, and mostly staying Safe. Speaking of Karma, getting this particular Gorillavirus can create all manner of PTSD (or Held Emotions, some of the hardest kind of Karma to shake) for the rest of this Lifetime and probably many to come. Instead, Choose to Die Peacefully in your sleep at some unspecified future date, if you’re planning to Die at all.

It’s bad enough that we have to deal with Post-Trump-Syndrome, assuming we eventually get to the Post part. The astrology can always go either way, depending on what we Co-Create, but I’d say the odds are good that we get to move on, since as we pointed out in the previous post, the Karma (the T-Squares) is Self-Resolving on all three counts.

There are a couple of isolated “Squares” (two planets three Signs apart) in our two Karma charts. Isolated Squares aren’t as Challenging as a “T-Square” (two Squares end to end) or as Balanced as a “Grand Cross” (four Squares end to end), but they can Require Ingenuity to Resolve. There are two in the Digital Age chart…

One is about Trusting the Process (Jupiter-Saturn-Chariklo Square Haumea-Lachesis). A Jupiter-Saturn Conjunction is about Changing Horses in Mid-Stream or Lifting our Boat with a Sky-Crane – we have to Expand into Contraction (which might look like Respecting our own Boundaries) or Contract into Expansion (we might Contract one part of our Life to Make Space for Expanding another), or somehow deal with the Merger of Opposites. Which of course is just a Paradox, and since it’s Either/Orish, we know the Limits are in the mind of the Observer and not in What’s Being Observed. Reality has no problem Merging Opposites, because Opposition occurs only in the Languaging. Even without slipping out of 3D we can envision getting an Edge or a Coin if we Merge heads and tails, or even a number between 65 and 75.

We can also think of Saturn as Compression. Julie Henderson (The Lover Within, p.42) talks about Compression and Containment as “the line between control and abandon” which allows Pulsation and Flow. “We move into a position that requires control to maintain and, in that position, abandon ourselves to it, surrender to is effects… To describe what’s involved is a bit difficult because it isn’t often modeled to us as children. We learn repression and explosion of our energies instead.”

And Jupiter-Saturn in turn is Merged with Confidence and Doubt (dwarf planet Chariklo). We might link Jupiter with Confidence, and Saturn with Doubt, but we have to consider it the other way around as well. We can Create Confidence by Contracting into an Ego – “I’m not one of those people who…” And easily Create Doubt by Expanding beyond our Competence. Isn’t this what Growth is all about, Tolerating and Embracing the Confusion and Doubt while we Decide how much it’s Safe to Stretch. You can see why Conjunctions are circled in red (Tension) rather than blue (Grace) or green (Curiosity) – Merging Energies that aren’t always Comfortable with each other Creates Stress.

And we haven’t even gotten to the Challenge (Square) yet. The other end of this Square is itself another Conjunction – between Rebirth (Haumea) and Choosing to End a Karmic Pattern (Lachesis). The Rebirth is Happening, like it or not, and we have to Decide how much we can Afford to Grow and where to set our Boundary between Control and Abandon. If we’re Lucky – the Boundary may appear to be set for us by Outside Forces over which we have no Control. That always indicates the Presence of The Most Important Thing (Saturn) in any Life – the Edge (or Gap, or Yawning Chasm) between Ego and Soul.

Soul is Always in Control, Always making Choices. When “You” aren’t, you need to make a Soul Retrieval to get back Within Yourself. Many ways to do that. You can Call Forth a Ceremonial Soul Retrieval by a trained Shaman. You can Mirror an Oppressor or Abuser if they’re Localized, or the Spirit of a Programmer if you can Identify the Programming involved (someone Teaching you that you weren’t good enough for instance). You can PIAVA to Call Forth the part(s) of your Soul that are Missing from your Ego (whether you can guess what they are or not), and Ceremonially Merge with “them.” Who have you always Admired, for instance?

Close your Eyes, hold the Image of yourself in one hand and the Image of your Hero in the other, bring your hands together, and as you Merge those two Images into one, Locate any Discomfort that arises in your Body and Love it to Death (Hint: Love is Soft and Warm, Fear is Cold and Hard). Asteroid Atropos is about Karma that’s Done with us, whether we’re Done with it or not. Asteroid Lachesis is about Karma that we’re Done with before it’s Done with us. That’s Scary, because we’re stepping into the Unknown, even when we know that Karma is really Dead, and we’re just going through the motions like the Karmic ‘Bot that we actually are till we get Conscious about it. You might need some Kegels, or some combined Theta and Tapping.

You could Look Up who if anyone sits in the Vacancies near 1 Degree of Taurus and Leo to see if they can offer any clues (they would Complete the Grand Cross, bringing your Energy more into Balance). For instance, you may be being Called to “Own” or Embrace your qualities of Devotion or Beauty (asteroid Cyllarus, near 1 Leo), or your Creativity or Ability to Make Things (asteroid Hephaistos, near 1 Taurus) in order to bring your Soul and Ego closer together. You could also try Owning or Embracing the qualities you most Admire in your Hero.

Between finding Confidence in our Expanding Contraction and Stepping out of an ongoing Karmic TimeLine into a whole new Trance where we aren’t even sure Who We Are (it’d be a good idea to jot down your passwords somewhere first) there’s an Empty Space.

The Karmic Digital Age

Since Karma is Dead, it won’t be a problem that the Digital Age is Karmic, right? Almost enough to make a person subscribe to Retribution…

But no, Karma is Inertia, and do we ever have Inertia! Huge Inertia in government dysfunction, possibly increasing Inertia with apparently more Powerful Mutant Ninja Garudaviruses in the wings in spite of the nascent Vaccines, Inertia with Inequality as the Robber Barons use Virus-Rescue dollars for their own lunch money and worse, far too much Inertia in Global Balming, und so weiter.

The chart for the 21 December 2020 Saturn-Jupiter Initiation, which Initiates the 140-year Digital Age (the span during which the Jupiter-Saturn Conjunctions occur in Air Signs) and especially the next 20 years (the current Jupiter-Saturn Cycle), features only one Big Challenge, and that’s Karma (a T-Square to asteroid Karma from the Opposition between Sedna [Converting Fear to Power] and Juno [Expansion of Consciousness])…

If that’s not enough, asteroid Karma itself is also Strong (Stationary), with Peak Exaggeration on 27 December at 2:30 am PST and two Challenges (T-Squares, the red triangles), one to Our Instincts (the Moon, from the Opposition between asteroid Karma herself and Gonggong [Flushbacks]) that Challenges us to Stay in the Present Moment, and the other to Our Willingness to Break Karmic Habits (asteroid Lachesis, from the Opposition between Jupiter-Saturn itself [the Conscious or Unconscious Decision whether to Contract away from new Energy or to Expand into Embracing it] and the Conjunction of Atropos [Karmic Patterns that have Finished their TimeLine, which our Ego may or may not have Let Go Of] and Varuna [Our Vitality])…

The Conscious or Unconscious Decision whether to Contract away from new Energy or to Expand into Embracing it (Jupiter-Saturn) in the Karma Station chart mirrors the apparent Contradiction between Converting Fear to Power (Sedna) and Expansion of Consciousness (Juno) in the Digital Age Initiation chart. Notice that these are both Either/Ors, which by now we automatically associate with the Observing Mind rather than Observed Reality – right? If we want to deal with Reality we have to Change the Subject and switch from HeadsOrTails to the Coin. Since the Mind mostly does only Either/Or, we have to Intuit the Both/And Coin.

Well, obviously, when we Contract (Saturn) away from Reality, we only drive it into the Unconscious, from where it Controls us from behind the Curtain of our Denial. No Pressure – Denial is our Best Choice when we aren’t Ready to Integrate something into Consciousness. Overwhelm will usually set us back. So at least we can Expand into Embracing (Jupiter) our Contraction. In fact, a Poor Sweetheart might be an ideal Response – “You Poor Sweetheart, you’re really Frightened by that, aren’t you.” If we can then Change the Subject and go about our business without Obsessing on what Frightened us, we may be able to just Manifest the Miracle of Transcending our Fear of the New rather than Denying it.

Chiron is Positively Related (Sextile, two Signs apart, meaning Grace but we have to take the first step) to Jupiter-Saturn, and Chiron is the Unhealable Healer who Connects us to the Wisdom that What Heals is Empathy – hence our Self-Empathy Mantra, You Poor Sweetheart… Like Tapping, it Recognizes the Truth of our Heart and brings various parts of ourself into Alignment, while moving our Assemblage Point or our Identity, the Place Behind our Attention, from WhatAfflictsUs to Compassion.

Notice what Opposes Jupiter-Saturn – Varuna-Atropos (the End of Karmic Limitations to our Vitality). We can carry this directly to the Crapolavirus. Atropos stands for Karmic Patterns that have Finished on their own Accord but which our Ego may not have Let Go Of yet. In other words, the Virus is Optional if we Wish it So. Which means we have to Let Go of our Belief in Disease. Sounds Dangerous, doesn’t it. Sounds like a good way to get Dead. Yes, that’s the Sedna part. If you get stuck on that, Locate your Fear in your Body and focus Intensely on it while doing a hundred Kegels, to Convert the Fear to Power, whenever the Fear arises or returns.

Meanwhile, consider it an Experiment, and don’t Act like a Covidiot. This is like a Placebo – it works best if you Believe in it. And it will work (Jupiter-Saturn is joined by dwarf planet Chariklo [Confidence and Doubt] – Choose the Confidence side). But we’re Playing on the Growing Edge of our Consciousness (asteroid Juno), so we never quite know ahead of time if we’re Ready to Transcend. If your Intuition is working fairly well, Thetas can help you evaluate your Readiness. When we Ask for What We Want, the Universe will either Give it to us directly, or Give us a demonstration of what else we need to Let Go Of in order to become Ready to Receive. Let the Universe stub your toe, instead of Dancing with a Miserable Death.

For folks who don’t Believe in Magic (ie, Choice) – and therefore Karma isn’t Dead for them – Karma still means Cause and Effect. Like Blame, Cause and Effect is a very sticky artifact of the Dualistic “Left” Brain. It’s not Easy to Think in terms other than Cause and Effect, because that’s the way the Observing Brain is wired. If you Allow it, the “Right” Brain – Intuition – can go Directly from Want to Outcome without worrying about Mechanism. For Left-Brainers, the Digital Age’s focus on C&E is good, because it may Allow them to Connect their Beliefs and Behaviors to their Outcomes in spite of their red hats. And there’s a lot of Inertia there which needs to Shift before Mother Gaia can Finish her Trance(Re)formation, though when it’s Ready it can Shift overnight.

When we look more closely, we see that all three Challenges (T-Squares) are Self-Resolving (Diamond Stars – red-triangle T-Square and green-wedge Finger of the Goddess pointing to the same planet). This means that, when the Universe Threatens to Repeat your worst deja vus All Over Again, the Appropriate Response is to Smile to yourself and raise your Energy, while you Recognize that the Universe is a Trickster, and share a Chuckle with Her. She’s giving you another Opportunity to Practice using the Belief and Action that you’ve Chosen to Replace your Obsolete Karmic Pattern, or any Alternative Pattern, so you can Erase through Repetition your old Connections and cement New Patterns into your Flexible and Opportunistic Brain.

Warmup for the Digital Age 2

Sheila asks, “So does the Age of Aquarius start Monday?”

The answer is, “Kinda sorta.” The Digital Age lasts about 2 Centuries, while the Age of Aquarius spans more than 21 Centuries. It’s a lot harder to pinpoint a Threshold for a 21-Century Cycle than a 2-Century one. We’re using the term “Digital Age” to apply to a time period very specifically bounded by astrology, and we’re labeling it based on Huper History and Herstory.

The Age of Aquarius is astronomically bounded. We know how long the Ages are (given certain assumptions), but if we have a firm date for when the current 25,920-year Great Year began, I don’t know what it is. I know there’s a lot of disagreement and many estimates, which vary by Millennia. It’s okay with me if you consider the Aquarian Age to begin on Monday. We could also choose the beginning of the 21st Century, or the first performance of Hair.

If I was going to research a firm date on an unlimited budget, I’d have AI review all of the World’s news media for the last many years, and score all news reports on whether they emphasized Intellectual Issues (Aquarius) more than they emphasized Emotional Issues (Pisces), examine the results by daily average to see if they described a smooth curve, and if so choose the year when Intellectual Issues first dominated. If they didn’t describe a smooth curve, I’d look for modes (clusters of similar data), and if none emerged, I’d say it was N/A.

Aquarius is Fixed Air, so it’s not just more Intellectual, it’s also more Opinionated. The 1/1/2000 chart foresaged Polarization, which has been the case in spades, as folks Confuse their Immutable Truth of the Heart (asteroid Aletheia) with their Debatable Truth of the Head (asteroid Veritas) and get sucked into Life-or-Death Ego-Association with Ideas, forgetting that everyone’s Truth of the Heart is Unique, and everyone is a Front for an Immortal Soul, so Killing them will only prolong the Agony of Ego-Association. Pity that the greatest Joy some Hupers seem to savor is Self-Righteousness.

However, these Polarized Opinions are all heavily Emotionalized, so I’d have to suppose that we’re still in a Transition period of indeterminate length. If the Digital Age produces a Lie Detector that gives binary answers that everyone Trusts, then, Perish the Thought, we might be able to definitively declare Aquarius to have arrived, though we’d have to rename it the Age of ‘Bots. We may have to anyway, if Ray Kurzweil has it right.

While we refer to it as Truth of the Head, our Intellectual Truths are really Truth of the Solar Plexus, because that’s where Thought is actually Centered. Small wonder that Thought is Confused with Anger, Judgment, and Hatred. Blame Descartes and Newton and everyone else who Believes that Thought can be dissected out of the Whole and become anything except a small bloody chunk of a Corpse, or a dead Butterfly impaled on a pin. You won’t be far off to envision an Argument as two people plucking out their giblets and throwing them at each other.

Sign Changes

Last time we mentioned that a number of planets Change Signs as the ~Aquarian Digital Age begins…

Asteroid Lachesis is named after the Greek Goddess of Fate whose job it was to Measure the Length of your Karmic TimeLines. Each Karmic Habit you brought into your current Lifetime came with an Expiry Date. Well, we know that Karma is Dead, so how does that work? If we’re Unconscious of a Karmic Pattern, it defaults to our Fate.

Once we become Conscious that we’re Repeating an Obsolete Habit that doesn’t really serve us in our current Lifetime, then we can Choose an Alternative rather than continuing to “beat that Dead Horse” all over again. Since we’re Addicted to our Karma because it’s What We Know and what we’re Comfortable with, we’d have some Inertia to overcome, but again, with Awareness and Motivation we can do that.

So we give ourselves the Benefit of Consciousness and interpret Lachesis as Consciously Choosing to Shift our TimeLines, where a TimeLine is anything that unfolds in Time – a Habit, a Job, a Relationship, a Trip, a Nap, a Residence, or a Jail Term. Lachesis is a kind of Get Out of Jail Free card, if you’ve ever played Monopoly.

Asteroid Atropos is the Goddess who actually Cuts the Lachesian Chords. So Atropos is about TimeLines that end on their own, without our Conscious intervention. Maybe. Karma is addictive, so we can sleep through an Atroposian alarm. We’d probably eventually wonder why in the devil we did that and Choose to shift the Momentum.

On 15 December 2020 (2:40 pm PST), Lachesis moved from Libra (Meeting Other) to Scorpio (Getting to the Bottom of Things). It was in Libra for only three months, but it’ll stay in Scorpio for almost a year, as it does Remediation (Retrogradation) next Spring. So you’ve been Inconvenienced in your Relationships with Others for the last several months.

You’ve probably been Blaming it on the Custardovirus, or on dastardly abrogations of your precious FREEDOM to not have to wear a Mask, but in Scorpio you’ll be searching everywhere for what it was that got you so upset, especially if you inadvertently kill somebody with your callousness. We hide our True Feelings every day, yet we object to wearing a physical Mask? Maybe it’s because a Mask inhibits our Ability to Manipulate others with disingenuous facial Expressions. No Accusation, just a Speculation or even a Projection – what’s True for you is for you to Discover through your Scorpionic Deep Dives next year.

Asteroid Juno (Growth in Consciousness) left Scorpio for Sagittarius on 18 December (9:20 am PST), which should make our Lessons Feel a lot Easier. Juno’s timetable is similar to that of Lachesis – it was in its prior Sign (Scorpio) for only about three months, but it stays in its new Sign (Sagittarius) for most of 2021, with Remedial work (Retrogradation) during the summer.

I’d guess we’ve been clawing at our scabs for the last several months while Juno was in Scorpio, to try to Expose as many Limiting Beliefs as we could find, so we could carry less Baggage into a Digital Age where who knows how much of Life might become Virtual. Much of our Life is already Lived through Fantasy anyway. Sagittarius is Mutable (Changeable, as in Mutation) Fire (Spirit), so it’s the Sign where we Let Go of what we no longer need for protecting our Material Ego from Scarcity.

And of course Saturn (The Most Important Thing) on 16 December at 9am PST, and Jupiter (Expansion) on 19 December at 5am PST, waved adieu to Pragmatic Just-Fix-It Capricorn and moved into Idealistic NoNotThatWay-ThisIsHowToFixIt Aquarius. It’s Catty of me I know, but I imagine Aquarians sitting in a bar arguing about how to Fix Society. We have the poster child for Fixed Air (Rigid Ideology) in the US Congress.

To be Honest, we have to wonder what planets have been in Aquarius for the last while already, as Congress has been unable to Negotiate with itself at least since the Tea Party came ashore, if not since Newt crawled out from under his rock. Asteroid Aletheia (The Heart’s Truth) has been in Aquarius since April 2020, which makes sense relative to the closure of the Federal purse since the March CARIES Act. Asteroid Pallas (Boundaries) has been in Aquarius since Indigenous Peoples’ Day, 7 December, and will be till April 2021.

But actually, if Hupers Learn to differentiate their Heart-Truth from their SolarPlexus-Truth and find the nanobit of Awareness and Empathy necessary to look in the Mirror and see how Upset they get when someone else Forces foreign Beliefs on them, and then Realize how Odious it must be for them to Force their Beliefs on Others (Duh!), they might Loosen Up a bit. Pour me another before closing time, ok? – an Aquarian anal-ysis if there ever was one. Aquarius is completely capable of figuring this out, it’s just my cynicism about Huperity that Limits my Optimism.

I get it, that’s my Karmic Pattern that, if I don’t look in the Mirror, will lock me into a Future of Competition to the Death. I’ll have to turn it around, so I can Manifest a Future of Peace and Collaboration and let the rest of the Hupers Manifest whatever they want in their own back yards. You know the First Law of Manifestation, Whosoever Farts in Church, sits in their own Pew. Or is that the Law of Karma. Can’t be, that one’s been Repealed.

Saturn averages two and a half years in each Sign, and Jupiter one year. Saturn in Aquarius should Teach us that The Most Important Thing is to Avoid Taking our Metaphors Literally. That’s the definition of Fundamentalism, and it applies to just about everybody, including us if we don’t constantly Let Go of our Natural tendency to want to have Burnt Umber clearly differentiated from Beige (Black and White are no longer PC).

What’s difficult to remember is that It’s All Metaphor. Even with our Best Multidimensional Intuition and our Most Outrageous Channelings, we Perceive such a tiny sliver of Reality, that while our Heart’s Truth defines Our Own Values, it doesn’t have anything to say about the Nature of Reality. Our Solar Plexus-Truth is even less descriptive, even though it’s Useful for helping us find Food and Shelter.

Saturn’s last sojourn in Aquarius was 1990-1993. Remember Daddy-Bush’s First Gulf War? Collapse of the USSR? The End of Apartheid? The first breath of the World Wide Web?

Jupiter in Aquarius can lead us to Tolerate, and even Embrace, Cognitive Dissonance, the Practice of being able to hold Contradictory Beliefs in mind, as equally Valid, at the same time. Huper Mind Perceives Duality, Either/Or, while Reality is Unitary and Multifarious, or Both/And. If we Allow our Thinking to Define our Concepts about Reality, we’ll never escape Judgment, and Love Dissolves when Judgment Replaces Curiosity.

We don’t get to 5D without Unconditional Self-Love, so Embracing Cognitive Dissonance is a Critical Skill. Every Perspective contains valuable information (even Mask Denial), so we can’t afford to Reject any of them, even though we probably want to rank them in order of their Utility.

Jupiter last visited Aquarius in 2008-2009. Hard to believe that was a dozen years ago. We had the H1N1 Swine Flu. Obama took over to sweep up the shards of the US Economy after the Derivative Crisis, often misnamed the Housing Crisis. Sully landed in the Hudson. And Bitcoin took its first breath.

Easy to forget in Light of the Jupiter-Saturn “Christmas Star,” but of course the Sun moves out of Sagittarius and into Capricorn at 2:05 am PST on 21 December. Our Perception of our own Essence should become less Scattered and more Pragmatic. That’ll be welcome.

Dwarf planet Ixion (Forbidden or Hidden Unique Genius) sticks its toe back into Capricorn on 27 December (1:20 am PST), for the second of three times as it stutters it’s way out of Sagittarius. It enters Capricorn “for good” (till next time, 250 years hence) in November 2021. We’ve hopefully used its 15-year passage through Sagittarius to Let Go Of our Inhibitions on Allowing it to Exist and Bloom, so we can use its 19-year trip through Capricorn Putting It To Work Healing the Planet, or at least building a very large Ark.

Cusps are tricky. Planets that are four Signs apart (Trine, Dumb-Luck Grace) get on well with one another because they share the same element – Water to Water and Fire to Fire. Planets that are three Signs apart (Square, Challenge) create Stress because they don’t share the same element – Air to Earth or Water to Fire. But look at these Cuspy Angles in the Saturn-Jupiter Initiation chart above…

Sedna to Karma is three Signs (with a little slop) so it should be Difficult, yet it’s Earth to Earth (Taurus to Virgo), which should make it Easier.

Moon to Juno is four Signs so it should be Easy, yet it’s Water to Fire (Pisces to Sagittarius), which should be more Difficult.

Some of each, perhaps? Both/And? An Opportunity to Practice our Cognitive Dissonance? Maybe a completely new kind of Relationship, neither Easy nor Difficult, but Orthogonal to that Dimension? A Paradox?

Warmup for the Digital Age

Jupiter and Saturn are considered the “Social Planets” – the Inner Planets are more or less in charge of Personal Character, and the Outer Planets in charge of the goings-on in the Underwhere. Which, even though it underlies everything, is kind of a Freudian Perspective – we could instead be calling it the Overwhere, as we agree with Jung’s Perspective that the “Unconscious” provides a map to our Wholeness, Integration, Coherence, Enlightenment, Ascension, 5D, nD. It’s a Puzzle Map, not a “Turn Left in 32 Feet” kind of Guide, because if it was so Easy, who would Value it? Hupers are like that.

Many people are in stiff Resistance to this sort of notion, however, so I’ve always found it easier on everyone to assume that some folks are inherently Jungian, and some inherently Freudian. That way we never have to argue with anybody about whether or not they Roll Their Own.

The Political Economy is one of the stalwarts of Society (one of the warts as well of course), and the Jupiter-Saturn Conjunctions fall into 180-year Cycles that have a reputation for being heavily involved in the Political Economy. Jupiter laps Saturn every twenty years, and seven of their Conjunctions occur (and Cycles Begin) in the same Element, then they toggle, then seven in the next element. and so on, with variation as always, of course. By “seven Water Cycles” we mean seven Jupiter-Saturn Cycles that Initiated in Water Signs. Like people, we characterize Cycles by the Sign they were born under. Notice we have Columbus and his fellow Colonialists and Thieves Sailing the Ocean Blue during the Age of Water, and Revolution common in the Age of Fire. The Industrial Age was filled with Coal and Iron and Oil and Mechanicals, Stuff of the Earth. The Digital Age will be all about Electromagnetism and Robotics and Stuff of the Mind – as was our 1980-2000 Preview of it.

The IBM PC was introduced in 1980, and the Dot-Com Crash occurred in 2000, both almost to the day of the Conjunctions. A large swath of Kansas (at high altitude) was reserved today for testing of a new generation of commercial supersonic aircraft. Musk and Bezos will be shooting their tin cans to Mars. The electromechanical technological leaps in the coming century-plus will make the 1980s and 1990s look like kindergarden. Unfortunately the next Water Age won’t be about Sailing the Ocean Blue, it’ll be about the Ocean Blue coming to live in our neighborhoods.

The Digital Age starts in earnest at 10:21 am PST 21 December 2020 Saturn-Jupiter Initiation, aka the Jupiter-Saturn Conjunction. Conjunctions frequently repeat (as the faster planet turns Retrograde), and it’s the first Conjunction of a sequence that begins a Cycle. We call it a Faster planet-Slower planet Conjunction because the Faster planet is overtaking the Slower planet. And we call it a Slower planet-Faster planet Initiation because at the Initial Conjunction the Slower planet plays the role of the Shaman or Guru or Mentor, conferring Shaktipat on the Faster Planet and giving it an assignment till they meet again. The Faster planet does the Bidding of the Slower planet.

We read the character of a Cycle by reading the chart of the Initiation. When we read the 21 December Jupiter-Saturn Conjunction, which we’ll do soon, it will be a reading about the political economy and social milieu of the next twenty years. There are several Sign Changes this week that we’ll need to talk about, which we intend to do soon, because they’re laying the foundation for the New Cycle – including Saturn and Jupiter entering Air Sign Aquarius. Saturn enters at 9am PST 16 December, and Jupiter at 5am PST 19 December. And of course the Sun enters Capricorn at 2:05 am PST 21 December, defining the Capricorn Solstice, aka the Northern Winter Solstice and the Southern Summer Solstice, when the Sun goes Stationary and our Essence is particularly Strong.

Asteroids Lachesis (Finishing Karmic TimeLines) and Juno (Growth in Consciousness), and dwarf planet Ixion (Our Hidden and Often Forbidden Unique Genius) also Change Signs this week, and the Exaggeration (Station) of asteroid Karma (Karma) dominates the rest of the week, giving us a chance to move into the New Age with a Clean Slate if we’re willing to Let Go of our Karmic Identities and Attachments.

Abuse Flushbacks III

Alas, we aren’t done with our Abuse Flushbacks yet, as the 30 November 2020 Full Moon (1:30 am PST, in 9 Gemini) is Challenged (T-Squared) by Abuse and Privilege (dwarf planet Nessus). The Full Moon also includes a second significant Challenge. While not done pouting, and probably not done seeking revenge, at least the Antichrist has allowed the Future to proceed. Interesting coincidence that he did it the day after his favorite planet, Nessus, finished being Exaggerated (Stationary).

We have a couple of Thresholds today (Sign Changes, on 25 November). The asteroid of Trust (Eurydike), having dipped his toe into Majesty (Leo) for two weeks, discovered that the World was not ready to Embrace Respect (Leo) yet, and at 8am PST hightailed it back into Compassion (Cancer). He’ll try again in early June to see if we’re able by then to have Confidence (Leo) in our Trust for one another. I hope everybody remembers that if one party plays Win-Win and the other plays Win-Lose, the Win-Lose party Wins.

And at around 1pm PST, the asteroid of Self-Love (Sappho) finished her Investigation of Hidden Impediments (Scorpio) to Unconditional Self-Love, and moved into the space where she can Shake them Off (Sagittarius), Tenderize the scar tissue, and fully Embrace herself. This period only lasts till the end of January, but then she Gets to Work in Earnest (Capricorn) on the many new projects that her newfound Wholeness permits, before she does a Deep Review of the Social Contract (Retrograde in Aquarius) starting in April and taking up most of the rest of 2021.

Meanwhile, back to the future, as we’re already Deep in the Arms of Material Confusion and Spiritual Clarity (Neptune Stationary 28 November 4:30 pm PST in 19 Pisces). The most important thing to Remember while Neptune is Acting Out, is that Confusion is the first Stage of Growth. Confusion means that the intellectual justifications for our Limiting Beliefs are Breaking Down, and these Beliefs are like a Birdcage that keeps us Locked In, but also provide Comfort because it’s Familiar. It’s Scary when the bars in the Cage loosen, as if Granny gave Sylvester the keys to Tweety’s Cage, and we’re Tweety. If it’s too Scary, try Kegels. Or just Breathe – Fear plus Breathing = Excitement.

Simultaneous with the Neptune Station we’re Blessed with an Exaggeration of our Ability to Reject Obsolete Habits (Station of asteroid Atropos 27 November 12:50 pm PST in 8 Leo), especially with regard to Health and Vitality (Conjunct dwarf planet Varuna). The Atropos Station occurs two and a half days and one and a half Degrees before the Full Moon, and Atropos-Varuna is the Focus of the second Challenge in the Full Moon chart. We’ll describe the details of that Challenge later.

Be Mindful that Rejecting Obsolete Health and Vitality Habits often coincides with “Healing Crises,” when symptoms worsen. Many of us got special treatment when we were sick as children, and we Learned that getting sick was a way to get an extra vacation, even if we had to tolerate the symptoms of it. Though the “modern” Scienterrific and Capitalist view is that Illness is a Biochemical process, Biochemistry is really a Perspective, not an Objective Absolute.

Illness is actually a Trance, and with enough Power and Skill it’s possible to Take Off an Illness the way we Take Off a coat, though so far, relatively few people have that much Power and Skill. You may know someone who’s Experienced such a “Miracle Healing,” or Experienced one yourself. I’ve mentioned a few in these pages. They’re common in Homeopathy and Acupuncture, because we’ve been Programmed to Believe in the Allopathic Birdcage that excludes low-profit modalities.

The Bottom Line is that, if you’re Feeling Unwell and your symptoms worsen this weekend, wait until after the 30 November Full Moon to get Scared about it. You may discover that your Fear would have been wasted, as you were just having a “Healing Crisis.” But meanwhile, we have a fabulous Opportunity to watch ourself argue with ourself over which Mental-Emotional Reality we Want to Subscribe to – “I’m gonna Die!” or “I Wonder if I really can Take this Off like a coat.” Have Fun with it.

When you’re in the “Wondering if you really can Take this Off like a coat” role, make the Effort to stay in Curiosity, and Avoid Anal-ysis and Answers and Yes-Buts, and Especially Avoid looking for Mechanisms. If you know the Mechanism, it’s not a Miracle, and you Want to Cultivate Miracles so you can go Directly from Objective to Outcome through enlisting the right Allies and Perspectives, as we will in 5D. More like, “Wouldn’t it be Awesome if I could Take this Off like a coat.” Indulge that “Fantasy,” and see how long you can stay in that “Daydream.” You might start to Recognize other Lifetimes where that sort of Healing was routine.

We’ve been busy working on other Issues and haven’t been talking about it, but don’t forget that we’re only three and a half weeks from the Beginning of the Digital Age (Jupiter-Saturn Conjunctions in Air Signs, this one 21 December 9am PST in 1 Aquarius, 7 hours after the Capricorn Solstice). This replacement for the 200-year Industrial Age (Jupiter- Saturn Conjunctions in Earth Signs) that faded in 1980 to make room for a 20-year Digital Teaser (1980-2000) and a 20-year Industrial Debriefing (2000-2020), will span the next two centuries.

Remember what Life was like when computers only lived in Institutions? The desktop computer became useful for more than hobbyists and feasible on a wide scale when IBM introduced the “PC” with Microsoft “DOS” software, just about the time of the first Jupiter-Saturn Air Conjunction in 1980. At about the same time, clumsy “1G” cellular phone systems were introduced in Japan and Scandinavia (the first iPhone didn’t appear till 2007). A primitive version of Microsoft Windows appeared in 1985. The World Wide Web (then commonly called the “World Wide Wait”) and the “web browser” were introduced in 1991. The “Dot-Com Crash” in 2000 coincided almost to the day with the end of the Digital Teaser (last Earth-Sign Jupiter-Saturn Conjunction).

The Digital Teaser was about more than computing, though most of the other new technologies that came along were enhanced, or even made feasible, by computing. The “rare-earth” Neodymium Magnet, which makes modern electric cars and wind power generation feasible, was developed in 1984. The Lithium-Ion Battery was prototyped in 1985 and commercialized in 1991. Toyota combined these with a small gasoline engine, controlled by computer, in the Prius, the first mass-produced modern electric car, introduced in 1997. Without the higher power output of the Nd Magnet and the light weight of Li-ion Batteries, electric cars never got beyond the golf cart.

On 29 November (4pm PST in 14 Virgo), Vesta (Unconscious Limiting Beliefs) Conjoins Orcus (Breaking Karmic Vows and Decisions). We’ve talked about this a couple of times recently, and it’s a window where Letting Go of Obsolete Habits may be Easier than they would be otherwise. On the other hand you may have to Re-Experience some of the reasons you made those Karmic Vows and Decisions, which could be a Bummer. Be Mindful of this, so you can Focus on the Letting Go instead of being Sucked into the Emotional Drama of the Memories.

Also on 29 November, asteroid Karma leaves Leo and moves into Virgo (6pm PST). The upside here is that Virgo is about Ego Death, and we need Ego Death in order to Jettison our Attachment to Karma, because our Karma is a big part of that Birdcage that keeps us Comfortable but Limited. “Ego” is just Identity. One minute you’re a Nurse or a Construction Worker or a Cook, another you’re a Spouse or a Parent or an Employee, the next you’re Watching TV. “You Are” is a statement of Identity, “You Are X” means that you and X are the same thing.

If you have a heavy Mental-Emotional Investment in being a Nurse or Spouse or TV-Watcher, then that Identity (Ego) will Limit your Ability to Shift your Identity. That’s Ego Death, where our Investment causes us to think “I will Die!” instead of “I will Die!” (ie, “My Identity will be Transformed!“), with all of the Emotional Baggage that comes along with Fear of Death. I hope you’re starting to see how we’re tied into a huge Gordian Knot this weekend, where everything is all tangled up with everything else. Keep Fantasizing about how much you’ll Enjoy 5D, where you’re so In Tune with Nature that you know exactly Who to Ask to Manifest any Outcome you Want, without having to Force anything.

“A Caveat though – we’ve also entered the Province (in Time) of Exaggerated Dependence or Exaggerated Independence (Hylonome Stationary till 5pm 23 September 2020 in 5 Capricorn).  That’ll put a very different twist on our Debriefing of what we’ve Learned this year about Self-Love and Consciousness around Relationship (Sappho and Juno in Libra).  For instance, if you’ve considered or experienced Big Changes in a Relationship, it may well Evolve Rapidly in the next few days.

“By all means Take Advantage of what you’ve Learned about yourself and Others, and especially Act to Expand your Consciousness and your Self-Love, but recognize that this ‘Crisis’ stage will probably be Temporary.  If you’re on the verge of Life-Scale Relationship Changes, you may want to ‘sleep on it’ for several days first.  It’s a great time to make such Changes, but if they’re done ‘in the heat of the moment’ you may regret it later.”

Of course, all three of these charts are active all of the time this month, but this one is front and center this week.

Before we get there though, starting at 7:30 am PDT 23 September, the Moon goes Out of Bounds again, meaning we’ll be more Emotional than usual.  That also means that Our Instincts will be Sharper than they usually are.  Which can make trouble – we could misinterpret our Instincts to think that they mean we must be “right,” and let our Strong Emotions take over.  Don’t be surprised by an uptick in assaults and worse – but stay out of one yourself, K?  This lasts till 5:40 am PDT 25 September.

Dubya could have his invasion and destruction of the cultural history of Iraq (to erase all that evidence about his benefactors the Anunnaki) under cover of this Confusion between Instincts and Emotions, in his followup to the previous Moon OOB period and the WTC.  Don’t let the Antichrist pull off the same kind of tricks.

Meanwhile, till 6:10 am PDT 25 September, our Intuition is Exaggerated – or our ability to Ignore it! (Asbolus Stationary in 26 Gemini).  It’s a fabulous time to Notice that we’re Ignoring it, and correct that Habit.  The Difference between our Intuition and our Instincts is subtle.  It would be useful for us to Explore that Difference here where they’re in sharp contrast.  Our Strong Intuition Lights Up the same Energy (chart) that we Experienced early in the month when our Creative Genius was Standing Out (Ixion Stationary, 10 September) …

Which happens to be an Energy we’ll be Suffering Under – Wait!  I mean, Living With a lot for the next while, as it’s the major Energy in all of the following…

• Focus on The Most Important Thing (Saturn Stationary in 26 Capricorn) until 10pm PDT 28 September.

• Which is likely to be Our Unlimited Potential (Chaos Stationary in 29 Gemini) until 2:30 am PDT 29 September.

Remember that we likely just had a Big Breakthrough on this…

“So we use the Energy in our Survival Instincts, which run about as Deep as any Energy, to Excite our Passion for Growing our Unconditional Self-Love, [which in turn] Allows our Karmic Limitations to Shift and Open Up our Boundless Potential so it Changes our Emotional History and Creates a [New] Internal Reality (Emotion<->Thought) that Sustains the Truth of our Heart.”

Changing our Emotional History isn’t as hard as it sounds – we do it every time we have a significant Change of Perspective on some Profound past event, or Forgive someone at whom we got very Angry when we Realize that it wasn’t their Fault, or See the World through New Eyes for any of a number of other reasons.

Also notice that these two Stations (Saturn and Chaos) Relate to one another through Curiosity (Quincunx).  The Most Important Thing is likely to be Our Unconstrained Potential, but we need to Grok the fact that Our Potential is far more Multidimensional than our Dualistic Mind can ever Understand and Utilize Effectively.  The only way we can work with our Unlimited Potential is via a Tool that is as Unlimited, namely our Intuition.  The thick plottens, doesn’t it.

The Saturn Station is of course the second step in our Initiation into the Digital Age, the first being the 12 September Station of Jupiter, as the two prepare to Merge at the Capricorn Solstice.  Opening to our Unlimited Potential will be a very valuable part of Creating Our Own Reality in the Digital Age, which may entail a lot of Suffering for those who Don’t Have This Luxury.

• A Huge Teaching about our Confidence (Chariklo Stationary in 25 Capricorn) till 1:20 pm PDT 3 October.  If we’re Open to it, the Teaching is likely to be that Self-Confidence and Self-Doubt are not Created by External Processes – they are products of our own Internal Decision Process.  The Teaching is Huge because it’s Merged with (Conjunct) and nearly simultaneous with…

which takes us up to the New Moon, which will be the third of many astroevents in the Open Portal at the rear end of the Signs (in 26 Virgo).  And which is not the end of this Twisted Rope of intertwining Front End-Back End-Ides Open-astroportals that are Weaving the New Reality that we’re Creating.  In fact, Grandmother Spider (asteroid Arachne), who Weaves the Web in which we All Live, is prominent in the Open Ides Portal (in 17 of Virgo) along with All-Heal (asteroid Panacea in 19 Virgo).

Yes, it’s Complicated, hopefully more Complex than the Left Brain can handle so we’ll have to let our eyes Glaze over and Read the Energy emanating from the page.  We Need to Manifest a Personal Reality that can Subsist through the Climactic Climatic Transformation (Pholus-Quaoar), through the Digital Age (Jupiter-Saturn) including 5G, and Sustain itself in any Political Climate.

It’s not about What We Do, it’s about How We Feel When We Do It.  If we Do it in Fear, we Create more Anxiety.  If we Do it in Joy, we Create more Bliss.  If we Do it in Codependence, we Create more Entanglement.  If we do it in Self-Sovereignty, we Create more Power.  Make a Choice of How You Want to Feel in December and January, take as much time as you need to Meditate Deeply on that Feeling, till it becomes Who You Are.  This is your Highest Priority (Saturn [The Most Important Thing] turns Direct 28 September, the second step toward Initiation of the Digital Age).  Let everything else take a back seat.

This is The Turning.  Mother Gaia has Stopped the World for us so we can Focus on Turning in the Direction that We Want rather than the one we Don’t Want.  Remind me to Show you how to alternate Tapping and Theta to fine-tune the Relationship between your Ego and the Unconscious, in order to maximize the Power of your Meditation on What You Want to Feel, and the Clarity of your Manifestation.

Looks precarious, don’t it.  It is, actually…

Did we mention that it’s Hot there?  Scienterrific folks recently announced that “Carrington Events” – Solar Outbursts big enough to Eliminate Electricity, Computing, and Communication on the Sun-facing half of the Earth – are probably more frequent than they previously thought.  The Flares have just not been pointing in our direction lately.  Being a tiny target has its advantages.

Aside from that and the Big Near-Earth asteroids that regularly zing past, what was it that we’ve been Concerned about?  Oh yeah, those three big current events barreling down the pike toward us.  Let’s start with the biggest one…

 

1.

Since 2014 (using three Degrees of Sensitivity), the symbol for Our Ability to Respond (dwarf planet Pholus) has been Teasing the symbol for Our Survival Instincts (dwarf planet Quaoar).  They both turn Retrograde every northern Spring at about the same time and around the same Zodiacal place, and every year they get closer together before Our Ability to Respond Chickens Out and Backs Away.

In 2020, Respond approached within 12 arcminutes – one fifth of a Degree – to Survive before it Got Scared, dropped its toolbox, and ran.  When you drop something 2.6 thousand million miles from the Sun, it falls for a looong time – or just quietly floats away and makes its own Orbit, or Obit.

On 3 April 2021 (5:10 am PDT in 7 Capricorn, “A veiled Prophet speaks, seized by the Power of a God: The ability to act as a mouthpiece for the revelation of a transcendent Will and Truth determining future action” – probably Greta), Respond will Feel Survive’s Cold Breath from a distance of only 12 arcseconds – three tenths of one percent of one Degree – before Respond thinks about its Exxon dividends (How will we Eat?) and Decides it’s too Risky to proceed.  Fortunately, they won’t be colliding – Survive is half again as Far Out as Respond.

By 2022, however, Survival gets just too tenuous, Living Feels more Important than Eating, and Hupers may actually Begin Responding to their Survival Instincts.  On 21 February 2022 (7:02 pm PST), dwarf planet Quaoar (Survival Instincts) Initiates dwarf planet Pholus (Ability to Respond) to begin a New two-Century Cycle (in 8 Capricorn, “In a Sun-lit home domesticated Birds sing joyously: The wholesome happiness which subservience to the ideals and patterns of a well-established culture brings to those who accept them unreservedly“).  Whoa!  Will the Antichrist have successfully completed his Genocide and now be living Underground with the rest of his 1% cronies?

I included Rudhyar’s commentary (“The wholesome happiness…“) because it’s so shocking in the context.  This is a 223-year Cycle, however, so we can PIAVA that, once Hupers start to Pay Attention to the Health of the Planet, they can Create a “well-established culture” with Sustainable “ideals and patterns.”  Then our Reincarnations and Descendants can Sing Joyously along with the Birds – hopefully Self-Domesticated Birds who Join us because it Feeds them, as their Song would be better if they were Wild.  Once we get to 5D, though, we’ll all be In The Same Dance.

The previous Cycle began on 26 April 1798 (in 26 Pisces, “Watching the very thin Moon Crescent appearing at Sunset, different people realize that the time has come to go ahead with their different projects: A keen appreciation of the value of individualized responses to any challenge of Life“).  The very thin Moon Crescent appearing at Sunset is a Cherokee signal to Begin Manifesting New Ideas into Form, which Hupers have certainly been doing for the last two Centuries.  And Celebration of the Individual has certainly been a Core Concept of Western Ideation for a while now.

We can easily think of this Era that we’re leaving as the Age of Every Man for Himself and the Age of Competition, where Collaboration is seen as Weakness because it leaves one open to Betrayal or Abandonment.  We know that a Dis-Ease often retraces its Pattern of Development as it Heals, and that a Dis-Ease often gets “worse” on it’s way to getting “better,” if we’re Measuring by Discomfort rather than Learning.  In other words, “If it doesn’t Kill you, it’ll make you Stronger.”

The Problem we Encounter in Recognizing the Difference between a Birth Wail and a Death Rattle, is our Doubt.  If we’re Confident in what we’re Creating, Neutral on Timelines and Outcomes, and Consistently Passionate about What We Want, then we’re with Rumi out in that Field Beyond Success and Failure.  Otherwise, we’re just in the Ego, which offers us as much Protection as any other paper bag.

The second-biggest current event barreling down the pike toward us is the Digital Age…

I couldn’t agree more.  If Predatory Catpiddleism continues to Reign, as Machines take over more and more of Life, it’s easy to picture a repeat of Dickensian London, but without the Escape Valve that forcing the Previous Inhabitants out of the Appalachians offered in Dickens’s Time.

Economic Eras and Ages are Bounded by the Metacycles of Saturn and Jupiter, the two primary Social planets.  They are in the Habit of Conjoining in one Element (Fire, Earth, Air, Water) seven times in a row, then sampling the next Element once, then debriefing the first Element one last time, then seven times in the next Element.  I know, that’s tricky.  It’s like so…

• An Introduction to the Earth Element (1802 in Virgo).
  • A Debriefing of the Fire Element (1821 in Aries).
• Seven Conjunctions in Earth (1842-1961).
  • An Introduction to the Air Element (1981 in Libra)
• One last Conjunction in Earth (2000 in Taurus).
  • Seven Conjunctions in Air (2020-2140).
• One Nibble on Water Signs (2159 in Scorpio).
  • One last Conjunction in Air (2179 in Gemini).

(Actually, there’s a Pattern-Breaker here, as Debriefing from the Digital Age will require 40 years rather than 20, so there’s another Air-Sign Conjunction in 2199, in Aquarius, before we go back to Scorpio in 2219.  Clear as Mud, eh?  It well Illustrates how difficult it is to Break the Tyranny of the “Left Brain,” though, especially in an Age of Fixed Air, which is easily translated as Ideology.)

• Fire-Sign Jupiter-Saturns spanned the 17th and 18th Centuries, featuring lots of Religious Wars.
• Earth-Sign Jupiter-Saturns, defining the Industrial Era, occurred in 1802, 1842-1961, and 2000, basically the 19th and 20th Centuries.  The Wars were between the Flags that Defended your Material Commerce.
• The Air-Sign Jupiter-Saturns, which will define the Digital Age, occur in 1981, 2020-2140, and 2179, the (current) 21st and 22nd Centuries.  The Wars are already largely Digital.
• Water-Sign Jupiter-Saturns will dominate the 23rd and 24th Centuries, as they did the 15th and 16th Centuries.

Notice that the 1802-2020 Industrial Era (including its Intro and Debrief) and the 1798-2022 Era of Every Man for Himself (Pholus-Quaoar in 26 Pisces) began at about the same time.  These Cycles differ in length by about five years (the Pholus and Quaoar Orbits aren’t perfectly Circular, so their Cycle lengths may vary), so they won’t always Change their Directions at the same time.  Which means that we’re Experiencing one hell of a Change, relative to the average Winter Count.

Those are the Century-Scale Changes we’re embedded in.  We’re also Entering the Age of Aquarius, which is a two-Millennium Change (2,150 years or so), and Enjoying Teasers of the End of the Patriarchy, which is on the order of a five-Millennium Change.  These are slow Changes that don’t happen overnight.  Many of us who Invite 5D envision Transitioning from Kali Yuga back to Satya Yuga, a Change that occurs every 6.9 million years.

Our third-most Concerning Cyclic Change, by comparison, occurs, theoretically, every four years.  On a Dharmic Scale, the Scale of Souls, pretty minuscule.  Nevertheless, in the Short Term it can Change our Lives in many Significant Ways if we aren’t Focusing our Energies in the right Directions.

There are some Basic Concepts about how What We Manifest comes about, Concepts handed down from long-standing Empirical Traditions.  We should review a few of those before we go much furthur…

Energy Precedes Form.  A reader writes…

“I put the ‘Feeling-what-one-wants-to-manifest’ into action, but continued to have a most difficult week, culminating this morning.  Threw the Ching and was advised to still myself and know that a spiritual practice is worthless if not used when under fire.  That helped a great deal and I now am retooling.”

The Future Isn’t Created Yet.  In fact, all there really is, Is Now.  So the Question is always, What’s Going on in the Now?  If that’s Worry or Anxiousness or Doubt or Disgust or Fear or Whatever, That’s Exactly What We’re Likely to Manifest in subsequent Moments of Now.  Whatever the Content of that Worry or Doubt is, it’s just Dust.  It’s the Verb that does the Manifesting, not the Noun.

The Only Thing We Can Change Is Us.  An Ambition to Change the World is unlikely to work out.  Focus on What You Want to Experience.  Don’t make your PIAVAs Dependent on someone else.  How will You Feel if the Future moves in your Favor?  That’s all you Need – Feel That, as often and as Deeply as you can.

There’s Nothing Objective About Reality.  Without an Observer, there’s Nothing happening.  There are no Objective Observers.  Every one of them has a Point of View.  Reality is a Dance between the Observed and the Point of View of the Observer, each Manipulating the Other.  It can make Fascinating Entertainment, but it’s not worth much else.

We have five charts between now and 3 November.  Each one is an Opportunity for us to Manifest What We Want to Feel.  We’ll look at each of them in turn.

Without accelerated Huper Physical Evolution and Spiritual Devolution, the “complete robotisation of our society” is likely to intensify after this year’s December Solstice (first of 18 Jupiter-Saturn Conjunctions in Air Signs of the Digital Age).  I don’t believe it’s All or Nothing, as 5D and 3D co-exist in the same place and time (3D is just unaware that there are more dimensions), and I don’t believe that the December Solstice is an absolute deadline, but I do believe that the more cumulative Huper Psychic Energy Shifts to 5D, the easier it will be for individual Hupers to Hold the Space.  And it may well be more difficult to Shift (without Physical Death) after the December Solstice.

Remember that the overarching astrotheme for most of July and August is the Descent of Soul into Matter (Uranus in Taurus T-Square to 3 August Full Moon, and 15 August Uranus Station), along with the demise of Victimhood and Denial (involvement of Chiron, Eris, et al); see previous and subsequent posts.

OOB Moons

How soon we forget.  The Moon goes “Out of Bounds,” increasing the possibility that our Instincts will Overpower our “Left Brains” and our sense of propriety, only every other decade, and even during its Out-of-Bounds decades, it’s only actually Out of Bounds (way far north or south of the Equator, furthur than the Sun ever goes) for a couple days every few weeks.  So all in all, over a lifetime, we’re talking less than 10% of the time.

Long-time readers will know that we consider our Comfort and Competence with different astro-Energies to be proportional to our Experience with them.  So as Individuals and as Cultures, we don’t have much Accumulated Wisdom around Moon Out of Bounds, because we haven’t had a lot of Practice dealing with it.  In my own limited personal Experience with them, a sort of Seething, Vulnerable, Hypnotizable Hysteria might be an appropriate description for them.  Your Emotions are Lit Up, and that makes it Easy for others to Manipulate them and you.

For instance, “9/11” was a quintessential Moon-OOB event.  The overreaction of Egos was about 200,000% percent, and the Manipulation that followed was centered around the association between Ego and Patriotism.  As a lapel button at the time said, “Oh well, I wasn’t using my Civil Rights anyway,” and the major provisions of the resulting Patriot Act are still in place almost 20 years later.

A major anthem of the 21st Century is “A flag turning into an Eagle turning into a Chanticleer saluting the Dawn” (the Sabian Symbol for the Degree of the Pluto-Chiron Initiation that occurred on 31 December 1999).  I interpret that to mean that the Competitive Tribalistic Nationalism of Huperity will undergo a Transformation of Perspective (Eagle as Far-Seeing) leading to it’s EnLightenment.  We’re obviously still working on that theme, as the Racial (BLM vs White Nationalists) and Community (the ridiculous “Freedom” not to wear a mask vs the Willingness to help Protect one’s Family and Community in the easiest, simplest way possible) elements of Competitive Egotism come to the fore.

The two major anthems we might choose for the third decade of the 21st Century would be “A soldier receiving two medals for bravery in combat” (the Sabian Symbol for the Degree of the Pluto-Saturn Initiation that occurred on 12 January 2020 – a Review would be useful), and “An old adobe mission in California” (the Sabian Symbol for the Degree of the Saturn-Jupiter Initiation that occurs on 21 December 2020 and begins the two-Century Digital Age).  I interpret the latter to mean major steps toward the End of Colonialism, and the former to mean major steps toward the End of the hierarchical Patriarchy and of Surrendering one’s own Sovereignty, and even of War as an Institution.

Have you ever noticed that sometimes we choose to amplify an astrological indication, and sometimes we amplify its opposite?  The reason we do this is because most of our work is about interpreting what’s going on in the Unconscious, and the Unconscious is not Dual like the Left Brain.  In the Unconscious, the other side of the Coin is as likely as the indicated side.  Since we Intend to Amplify the World We Want to Live In, we Choose the side which we believe will outpicture our Intentions.

So, we’ve recently discovered that we’ve been Denying (Eris), or Forgetting, the Moon Out of Bounds periods.  In July and August they spanned or will span…

• 8:30pm PDT 3 July through 5pm PDT 5 July,
• 6am PDT 18 July through 3:20 am PDT 20 July,
• 3am PDT 31 July through 9am PDT 3 August,
• 1pm PDT 14 August through 1:30 pm PDT 16 August,
• 5:40 am PDT 27 August through 9am PDT 29 August.

The 18-20 July OOB event amplified the Revelation (Eris Station) New Moon that we’re still deep within.  The 31 July-3 August OOB play will amplify the impending Full Moon that in turn pre-amps the 15 August Outpicturing of the Soul (Uranus Station) and the recent Demise of Victimhood (Chiron Station), as does the 14-16 August OOB Drama more directly.  The 27-29 August OOB event will likely be a Doozy, as it amplifies the amplification of Conversion of Fear to Power (Sedna Station), for those who even consider such a Conversion to be Possible.
