Scary Lunar Eclipse III

A reader writes…

“I’ve noticed you often put your own spin on the Sabian Symbols and I do find Dane’s take on some of them impenetrable… Wondering what you think about the symbol for 13 Sadge which is the degree of the Total Solar Eclipse on 4 December 2021? It’s one of five or ten of the 360 Degrees that kinda scare me lol.”

Sadge 12, “A flag turning into an Eagle turning into a Rooster heralding the dawn: The spiritualization and promotion of a New Age by minds sensitive to its precursory manifestations,” is the anthem for the current century, as it was the location of the Pluto-Chiron Initiation on 30 December 1999, Pluto implying Compulsion and Chiron implying Despair. Lord knows the Media (maybe we should call it the Minia), and the Hupers it describes, give us plenty of reason to Despair. But the flip side of Despair is Miracles. Someone (some say it was Einstein) pointed out that “We can’t solve a problem using the same thinking that we used to define it.” The Dualistic Mind loves to grind away at a perceived problem, never getting past the problem and its polar opposite, which is often worse.

Getting out of Dualism leaves us in a World with many shades of many colors, which we can see from many Angles. In this World it’s very easy to find many new ways of thinking about whatever problem we were grinding on. How to exit Duality? Not easy.¹ Sometimes all we need is What If? – What If We Did Know the Solution? for instance, though that may just deepen our Attachment to Duality, because the Mind is so eager to think it’s Either/Or, One or the Other. What If We Weren’t Attached to Outcome? might allow us to explore more options.

Another approach is What Am I Feeling Right Now? And Where in My Body Do I Feel it? ² Watch to see how difficult it is to stop yourself from attributing Cause to your Feeling. Stay with the Feeling. Exaggerate it, Amplify it. It’ll tell you more about your “problem” than Thinking ever would. It may tell you that your “problem” is more about some Experience you had in the third grade, than about whatever’s going on in the Now. The word “Feeling” applies to both Emotion and Sensation, for a good reason. Anchoring our Feelings in our Body can help us stop ourself from Thinking about them. Thoughts about our Feelings are seldom Present-Moment, and almost always lead us into the Tules.

• ¹ Even harder to escape Duality’s two stepchildren, Blame and Cause and Effect. See if you can last an hour without ever attributing Blame to anyone or anything. Got it? Try a day, then a week, then a month. Then see if you can go an hour without ever using Cause and Effect. Cause and Effect works pretty well if you’re seeing the World through 2D glasses. Add six more blind people and see if the seven of you can figure out what the Elephant caused and whether you can Blame Him for it.
• 2 Mental, Physical, Emotional, Spiritual aren’t different “Levels” of Reality, they’re different Perspectives on Reality, which is Unitary and Multifarious – Undifferentiated and Multidimensional. Seem Oxymoronic? Yes it is, in 2D. But 2D isn’t Reality, it’s the Limitation of the Observing Mind.

In our 12-Sagittarius Flag-Eagle-Rooster anthem, Flag is a symbol for Either/Or Idealism, Eagle a symbol for Broad Perspective, and Rooster a symbol for Waking Up or Becoming Conscious.

The next Degree, 13 Sagittarius, “A widow’s past is brought to light: The Karma of past actions as it affects opportunities presented by a new cycle.” We often think of Karma as Negative, first because it’s an affront to the Ego’s Belief that it’s in Control, and second because it’s the Negative Karma that befuddles us and demands our Attention. We often don’t even Notice our Positive Karma, and when we do, our Ego usually attribute its Cause to our Present-Moment Hubris.

But Karma is Neutral. It’s just Inertia, Habits. Besides, it’s Dead. It no longer Grasps Us, We Grasp It, because that’s what we’re in the Habit of Doing. The notion that Karma is External to us is a Political Manipulation designed to keep us in Slavery. We only need to do one thing – become Conscious of our Karma. When we do that, we replace Fate with Choice.

Next time you Fear Repetition of an Old Pattern, Name it, Describe it, Learn to Recognize its early Signs, and when they occur, Choose an Alternative. Karma Died in 2012, when Time Ended – except in our Habits! Cause and Effect is Null and Void without Time. The Operant Principle in the New World is Intuition. The more illogical, the better. Logic is 2D, the Real World is Many-D. When your Intuition is Illogical, it just means that it’s cutting through invisible corners. When you’re trying to Manifest something you’ve never Manifested before, you can’t do it by Repeating your Old Patterns.

If we React to the 13 Sadge symbol, the first thing to notice is that we’re probably Feeling Guilt, afraid we’ll Get Caught. So our first task is to find that Guilt in our Body, and Love the Hell out of it. Fear is Hard and Cold, Love is Soft and Warm – we Imagine Softening and Warming that place in our Body where we Feel the Guilt. Cupping our hand over it is an easy way to Warm it. Stay with that Softening and Warming, Follow it if it Moves, and return to it once more than the Mind wanders, until the Guilt is replaced in the Body by Self-Love and Self-Respect.

Twelve Sadge says we’re heading for Enlightenment. Thirteen Sadge says we’ll have to Clear away impediments to our Self-Love to get from the Dualistic Flag to the All-Seeing Eagle. We all have plenty of Work to do on this. Asking, What Am I Feeling in the Present Moment? and rigorously keeping our Thoughts about what we’re Feeling out of that equation is one key.

So, now that we’re back in the Present Moment, we can look again at the current Lunar Eclipse, noticing that the Mystery School it Illuminates is focused on an Argument between Our Forbidden Genius and Our Unlimited Potential.³ We can Feel (Intuitively) the Unlimited Potential in our impending Enlightenment, but the Childhood Punishment⁴ that our Genius received for being so Out There and frightening our Significant Adults, is yelling Yes But pretty loudly. It may be Guilt or even Shame if our Punishment was severe enough to reprogram us, or it may just be a Voice, Remembering the past consequences of Stepping Out of Line, saying Wait a Minute, Is This Really Worth It?

In his wonderful book The Big Leap (from Excellence to Genius), Gay Hendricks describes four Barriers to Embracing our Unlimited Potential. Feeling fundamentally flawed is one. If that’s a Story we tell ourself when we Lament our lack of Fulfillment, Find it in your Body and bring it up into Consciousness. The second is breaking our Family of Origin’s spoken or unspoken Rules or Expectations. The third is Feeling like we’re a Burden, and Success would make us a bigger Burden. And the fourth is Outshining somebody, especially someone in your FOO or someone you greatly admire.

In order to Lift the Global Consciousness of our Species out of its Addiction to its Mod Cons⁵ or paralyzing Colonial Poverty, we all⁶ need to be operating from our Genius. But we as Hupers are addicted to the Status Quo, mightily in Resistance to Change. Even if we’re totally Committed, we almost always continue to have Unconscious Resistance. To Heal that we need to bring it up into Consciousness, and Intensely Following our Feelings in our Body is an excellent way to start doing that.

So let’s look into this Present-Moment Resistance more deeply, using the Metaphor of the 19 November 2021 Lunar Eclipse. The Unlimited Potential side is bolstered by very strong Intuition.⁷ Our Unlimited Potential unstuck itself from it’s own Immutable Karma between 2000 and 2002, and it’s been Exploring New Alternatives ever since.⁸ Next July it tests the Waters of Nurturing, and Dedicates itself to Nurturance in late May 2023, for the next two decades.⁹ It wouldn’t hurt to see this as a major doorway into the Sympathy and Understanding, Harmony and Trust Abounding portion of the Age of Aquarius.¹⁰

The Forbidden Genius side has several allies. It’s Supported by the Galactic Leadership, and bolstered by Opportunities to Let Go of Guilt and to Grow our Consciousness.¹¹ We’ve gradually been Letting Go of Inhibitions to our Genius for the last quarter-century, and started getting Serious about Liberating it in early 2020. Like it or not, we Fully Committed to Setting It Free a fortnight ago, on 6 November 2021. This Liberation phase will take eighteen years to complete.¹²

It’s a Tautology that no one Changes the World without violating Social Norms.

So yes, our Genius, which wouldn’t be Genius if it was everyday, is Scary. If we’re too Early getting out on the Front Lines, the Establishment will mow us down and be proud of Protecting Lawn Order, even brainwashing their young AR15-toting punks to do the job for them gleefully. That’s Real Life, and we remember it well from how many Lifetimes? The Historical Karmic Energy behind it is Immense. If our Genius isn’t Activist, the Unusual is always a Risk, whether in Science, Art, Business, or any other Field. We may be Acclaimed then dumped, or Laughed at, or, if we aren’t done Letting Go of our Karmic and Historical Punishment, we may be Banished. Multiple Failures are almost assured before we find the right Lock for our Key.

We can’t forget that this Argument between our Forbidden Genius and our Unlimited Potential, is a Mystery School.¹³ That means that the “Solution” to this “problem” presented to us is a Paradox. It won’t work to approach it with our Minds. We need to use our Intuition or our Heart instead.

• ¹³ The Chaos-Ixion Opposition is the central axis of a Yin Gate, an Opposition bisecting the short side of a Golden Rectangle, shown in the chart in the previous post as the vertical blue rectangle formed by the Full Moon (Eclipse) axis and the Opposition from Pluto-Chariklo (Compulsion and Self-Confidence) to Cyllarus (who Died in the warfare where Chariklo’s husband Chiron was wounded “unhealably”). So there’s a lot of Grief involved. However, the Grief evolves into a Karma-Clearing Rebirth (asteroid Karma Conjunct dwarf planet Haumea T-Square to the Opposition). It’s a Challenge (T-Square), so we need to be Honest and Complete with the Grief.

♥ Second, and almost as Foremost, at the 17 July Full Moon, is the symbol for Unlimited Potential (dwarf planet Chaos) that’s Merged with the symbol for our Essence (the Sun).  And since a Full Moon is by definition a Dichotomy (Opposition) between our Essence and our Instincts (the Moon), this means a Dichotomy between our Forbidden Genius (Ixion) and our Unlimited Potential.

Nothing unusual about Dichotomies – in 3D we Live in Duality.  So we’re actually used to thinking that our Potential and what’s Forbidden are Either/Or.  We can either be good little Boys and Girls and Realize our Potential, or we can Rebel and make everybody Reject us.  That’s the Codependent Perspective, where the only way to Realize our Potential is through Socially Approved Channels.  Which is great if the World is Stable and Sane.

Which it ain’t these days.  The World is Changing Rapidly on just about all levels except Huper Responsibility, and is by no measure Psychologically Healthy.  The only thing we can Change is ourself, so if the World needs Changing, we have to Change it one self at a time – us.  As Pogo famously said long ago, “We Have Seen the Enemy.”  So what’s the first thing we have to Change?  The Socially Approved part, because that’s what’s suppressing Huper Responsibility and Psychological Health.  In Mythology and astrology there’s an Expert at Social Disapproval, namely Ixion.

So we turn the Dichotomy on it’s head.  We move toward Unlimited Potential by engaging the Forbidden.  You’re seeing it at the moment in Hong Kong, recently in France, soon in the British Isles.  Engaging the Forbidden doesn’t necessarily mean Confrontation though; there are a million ways to do it Constructively, without making everybody Angry (except your Programmers and their Internalizations).  Here’s one example – https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/2019/06/12/new-plan-remove-trillion-tons-carbon-dioxide-atmosphere-bury-it/.

In this environment we Succeed by Dismissing one of the “Shoulds” that shout at us, and instead Embracing one of the Intuitions that are always Whispering sweet nothings in our ear.

♥ Which isn’t always easy, because as Hupers we’re Encapsulated in our Habits, and no Habits are more Difficult to Escape than our Karma.  And at this Full Moon those Habits are front and center, and Challenging us to Break Free of them (the Full Moon is T-Squared by asteroid Karma).  Well, we’re hardly rookies around our Karma, especially lately, so it’s not like this is an unfamiliar Challenge for us.  We could even Remind everyone that the Journey from 3D to 5D can easily be Reframed as the Journey of Cleansing ourself of our Karma.

As Mother Gaia moves deeper into Her Split between 3D and 5D, Cleansing our individual Karma gets more and more critical, so it’s good that it’s Lit Up here.  It’s not difficult to see what a Morass the 3D version is rapidly becoming, so the sooner we depart the better.  Waiting around for the Psychopaths to Change won’t serve your Future at all, you’ll just end up with them Running the Asylum, as if they aren’t already.  If you aren’t sure what the 3D-5D Split is all about, read Michael Roads’s Through the Eyes of Love series.  His is the only place I’ve seen it clearly described, though I don’t think he ever uses the terms.

Lachesis-Chiron 2

What would have been Lachesis-Chiron 1 is part of the previous, Recess Portal, post.  Lachesis Cycles muscled their way into the previous post, which was to be a post about Recess, and serendipitously turned out to be momentous.  Taking advantage of that Intuitive Intrusion, let’s focus on Lachesis Cycles for a while.

Asteroid Lachesis, after all, is all about Choosing our Timelines Consciously, which when we get the hang of it we can use for Terminating Karmic Patterns, Ending Self-Sabotage, Enjoying Abundance (which means Having Enough to Share), Stopping Abuse, Converting Fear to Power, Co-Creating What We Want, and a zillion other Transformations.

A Timeline is any sequence of Time or Life that features a specific Pattern or Habit or Characteristic.  A Lifetime is a Timeline.  A Career is a Timeline.  A Relationship is a Timeline.  A Hobby is a Timeline.  An Obsessive or Repeating Thought or Feeling is a Timeline.  A Quality of Life is a Timeline.  If anyone doesn’t understand what a Timeline is, please leave a comment, and I’ll try to explain further.

Be Mindful that most of us have been programmed into Dualities, making it difficult to even Imagine Living without them.  When we PIAVA Abundance, for instance, do we simply push our Scarcity into the closet, where it can pull our strings behind our back?  We have to recognize that in the Real World (as opposed to the Snapshots we Create of it in our minds), Abundance and Scarcity are the same Dimension.

When we look at this Dimension with Self-Love and Self-Confidence it appears to us as Abundance or Gratitude.  When we look at it through the eyes of Fear and Doubt or Anxiety, it’s painted in Scarcity or Envy.  This is the Nature of a Participatory Universe, as Gregg Braden calls it.  Our Expectations are as Powerful as, or more Powerful than, External Reality.

♥ The Lachesis-Chiron Cycle is about Learning to Choose to End any Discouraging Patterns in our Life – for instance by Discerning them and then Poor-Sweethearting them.

The current Lachesis-Chiron Cycle began 20 January 2018 in 26 Pisces, “Watching the very thin Moon Crescent appearing at Sunset, different people realize that the time has come to go ahead with their different projects.”  The first Sunset appearance of a Crescent Moon, which occurs several days after each New Moon, is indeed a Time to Begin New Projects, and there’s no better Project than Choosing to End Discouraging Patterns in our Life.

The chart of the Chiron-Lachesis Initiation and hence of the Cycle…

…has two important features.  First, the overall Configuration is a Yin Gate.  A Yin Gate is about Eschewing Binary Logic and Accepting Paradox, and the crux of this one is the Contrast (Opposition) between Fear (Sedna) and Action Directed toward Respect for All Things (Mars-Hopi).  Of course if you’ve been through February’s Sedna action you’ll be Kegeling Fear into Power and working with the Contrast between Power and Action Directed Toward Respect for All Things.

Contrast is a Binary sort of thing that Paradox leaves behind, so our first step would be to Realize that we need to be Open to Learning New Things and Appeal to the Great Unconscious (ie, everything we don’t know and most especially what we don’t know that we don’t know) by using PIAVA.  Like maybe “I Wonder if I have any Power to Increase Respect in the World” followed closely by Changing the Subject so we’re actually Open to Receiving New Perspectives rather than getting Assaulted with the same barrage of Tired Old Metaphors that the intellect always trots out to keep us from Growing past our Limitations.

Whatever Insights we get tomorrow may Inform the “New Projects” we are to begin now.  Currently, this Cycle is at the Waxing Unx stage, which means that the New Energy in this Cycle is just going Underground in order to Subvert the Efforts of the remaining Investors in the Old Cycle to maintain their Profits from it.  So if your Insight suggests that you Go Public with a big PR campaign, that’s not inadvisable, but do be Prepared to Expect a slow start and a long slow slog at getting Attention and Respect for your Agenda.

Otherwise, work it Underground.  The Cambridge Analytica method of manipulating the Great Manipulator Facebook to set up arguments that can only come down to the Conclusion you want, are well described in https://www.wired.com/story/italy-five-star-movement-techno-utopians/.  If you’re working this as an aspect of Personal Growth, Gregg Braden’s book The Spontaneous Healing of Belief has a rather fascinating exercise devoted to Exposing your Self-Sabotaging by still-Unconscious Beliefs, at pp.90-97.

Second, the Chiron-Lachesis Initiation itself makes a T-Square (Challenge) on the Opposition between dwarf planets Chaos (Unlimited Potential) and Ixion (Forbidden Genius).  That’s Big, as it means that this Cycle will go a long way toward Informing us about the Leap Forward that awaits us when we finally Love our Forbidden Genius into the forefront of our everyday Personality.

This isn’t the time for a suite of essays about the intricacies of the Yin Gate Configuration, but the base of the Chiron-Lachesis T-Square is one of the Oppositions in the Yin Gate, just not the central, Paradox-Leading Opposition.  The blue box enclosing the Yin Gate is a “Golden Rectangle,” so colored because the ratio of its ends to its sides is the Golden Ratio of Sacred Geometry fame.

A Golden Rectangle on its own is a fountain of Blessings, which is usually Interpreted using the diagonal Oppositions – here Ixion-Chaos and Haumea (Rebirth) to Uranus-Eris-Moira (which Offers us the Choice of Continuing Suffer the Negative Impact of Denying our Separation from our Soul, or Owning Up to it and Facing the Resulting Ego Death).

We Interpret an Opposition maximally by focusing on the Coin rather than the Heads or the Tails.  The Coin of Haumea to Uranus-Eris-Moira is simply Facing the Music and getting on with our Growth.  The Coin of Ixion-Chaos is Transcending our Limitations.  This is a very Powerful Golden Rectangle, particularly for anyone aspiring to move from 3D to 5D.

But when we add the central Opposition and create a Yin Gate, we’ve now greatly complicated the Golden Rectangle’s Oppositions, adding a third, and adding four crossed Quincunxes, symbolizing the sort of Curiosity which Seeks Answers at its own Peril.  I’ll let you Interpret the Quincunxes.

“Researchers trained [using TM] a group of people to ‘feel’ peace in their bodies while believing that it was already present within them, rather than simply thinking about it in their minds or praying ‘for’ it to occur…

“These people were positioned throughout the war-torn areas of the Middle East.  During the window of time when they were feeling peace, terrorist activities ceased, the rate of crimes against people went down, the number of emergency-room visits declined, and the incidence of traffic accidents dropped.  When the participants’ feelings changed, the statistics were reversed.  This study confirmed the earlier findings: when a small percentage of the population achieved peace within themselves, it was reflected in the world around them…

“The data was so consistent that the researchers were able to identify how many people are needed to share the experience of peace before it’s mirrored in their world.  The number is the square root of one percent of the population…  In a city of one million people, the number is about 100.  In a world of 6 billion, it’s just under 8,000…  The results were eventually published in The Journal of Conflict Resolution in 1988.”

After this last week’s 6 March Chaos-Station (Unlimited Potential) Vesta-Neptune (Allowing Spirit to Ventilate our Beliefs) New Moon, the “very thin Moon Crescent appearing at Sunset” was visible last evening (10 March).  Indeed a Time to Begin New Projects, and as we said, there’s no better Project than Choosing to End Discouraging Patterns in our Life.

And, the current Angle between Lachesis and Chiron is a Sextile (two Signs), implying Blessings on any Project where we make the first Effort.  So we can pick a Chronic Affliction (Physical, Emotional, Mental, Spiritual, or Other) or two (not too many), and bring out all of our Big Guns to Change it – Tapping, Theta, Unseen Therapist, Poor-Sweetheart, etc., not at all to exclude any other Tools you brought with you!

For instance, suppose we’re Spending Time worrying about Scarcity.  That could Create more Scarcity for us, but we can’t just Power-Over Scare-City, or it really will Procreate itself.  Manifestation advice suggests avoiding Negation, but Negativity has its place.  If our thoughts are on Scarcity we have to be honest with ourself about it before we can Change it.  In fact, we can’t Change anything until we Accept it Exactly as it is.  That’s why we Tap on “Even though I’m Obsessing about Scarcity, I Deeply and Completely Love and Accept Myself…”

But if we’re Affirming or Praying or Intending or Visualizing or Commanding, or another PIAVA, we do want to Avoid Negation.  We want to Affirm More Abundance rather than Less Scarcity, Safety rather than No More Abuse.

As the Nodes (with Jupiter on the North Node) are backing into a Grand Cross with the dwarf planets Chaos and Ixion, and Neptune Opposes the dwarf planet Orcus, on 13 January, a few days hence.

A Grand Cross is formed when four planets are equally spaced around the Zodiac.  It’s like four T-Squares (Mastery through Challenge), except it’s Balanced, so it ends up being “just” Busy – lots of little Fires to put out, so we don’t have the luxury or the time to dwell on how imperfect it all Feels, like we do with a T-Square.  We’re so Busy multitasking that we get to Feel some degree of temporary Satisfaction from finding a series of adequate solutions that suffice for the short term.

The Nodes of course indicate what we’re doing here; the South Node where we came from, and the North Node where we’d like to go.  Of course All There Is Is Now, so the Nodes flip a lot…

Turns out we need to Let Go of the Held Emotions or Past-Life PTSD that our South Node represents, in order to Recover the Past Life Skills that are necessary to resolve the issues that stand between us and our destination, and realize our Mission for the Lifetime.

And as our CAO (Chief Asteroid Officer) points out, the asteroid Karma (the Inertia Created by Our Held Emotions) is approaching the dwarf planet Eris (Revelation of What’s Being Denied), crossing it on 18 January.  However, this is a Confidence-Builder crossing.  The Can-Opener occurred 8 October 2015, and the Exposition 30 December.

With Jupiter on the North Node, we’re hearing a Siren Song from our Mission…  

Our intuitive grasp of our “Real” Mission changes as we raise our Frequency to encompass more of the Universe.  Seeing as we do through a glass darkly, it really is a Siren Song that we’re hearing, tempting us to toss ourself into the morass of our Current Desires, rather than lose our current Ego in prayer that we may Embrace more of its True Meaning.

Which dilemma is also being lit up by an impending Initiation of Mars (Self-Assertion) by Juno (the Edges of Consciousness) that’s complete on 24 January.  

The dwarf planet Chaos represents Unlimited Potential – it’s the Zero Point Field or “Vacuum” that existed before Zeus and the Patriarchy “Created” “Order.”  In the Quantum World, “Reality” is indeterminate till it’s not.  (Or as they say, indeterminate till it’s Witnessed, but that’s incredibly anthropomorphic.)  Chaos is what you haven’t Manifested yet.

Ironically, the Greek version of Vesta was the Goddess of the Hearth, Hestia, and the ancient Greeks toasted Hestia before they toasted Zeus, and after they toasted Zeus.  They were smart enough to honor what really mattered while propping up the male Ego.  Vesta – Unconscious Belief – guards the Edges of Chaos, to keep too many Demons and Daemons and Diamonds from breaking through the Veil.  

This week’s Neptune-Orcas Opposition chart includes a Vesta Yod based on the Sextile between Mars-Juno and Orcas.

The dwarf planet Ixion represents our Pathological Genius.  Ixion was the male figure that ignored Zeus’s Rules of Order, and pursued his Desires without thought of Consequences.  Ixion is our feral unprogrammed Inner Child.  

Underneath our Programming we are all Mozarts and Einsteins and Jeannes d’Arc and Queen Victorias – we have an irrepressible Destiny that was not crushed by our Programming, only driven into the Unconscious.  Our Programming relegated our Genius to the realm of the Pathological – we were Punished and Shamed for it.  

No Blame here; this is how Consciousness grows.  As we Create Security we also Create boredom, so we seek the Light by venturing forth into the Wilderness.  Soon we’re Lost, and have to find our way back “Home.”  Then we rinse and repeat.  On the scale of a Lifetime, our Programmers are chosen to set up ways for us to get Lost that will cause us eventually to remember our Mission.  We are each puzzle pieces in a multibillion-piece puzzle, and like one of Gollum’s riddles, the puzzle will be “solved” when we all Embrace our Pathological Genii.

Putting all this together, we can expect that for most of January we’ll be rushing about putting out Karmic Fires.  If these take the form of rescuing anyone from their Pain, don’t waste the Mirror.  External hardcopy “Reality” is no different from our Dreams.  It all has something to do with what we’re bringing into Consciousness, though seldom in a straightforward manner.  

As I’ve done many times, I recommend Eugene Gendlin’s excellent book, Let Your Body Interpret Your Dreams.  It’s a collection of clever techniques for coaxing Meaning from your Dreams non-intellectually, and can very productively be used to coax Meaning from your daily adventures in the “Real” Hologram as well.  As an example, he recommends avoiding polarity flip-flops – when you Decide that a Change is necessary, don’t jump from Black to White; instead, shift to a 90%-saturated grey.  Our Symbols are road signs, not airports.

There are directions in our Life that have Unlimited Potential, and Embracing – Witnessing – our Shame and Fear of Punishment, can Create major leaps in that direction.  “You poor Sweetheart, they really Shamed you for that, didn’t they.”  By noticing that we’re in Shame or Fear and Lovingly Witnessing it, we stop being Shame or Fear, and instead become Compassion.

So our January will include glimpses of the Unlimited – like a billion-dollar lottery.  Then we’ll recall our humdrum daily life and how seldom we’ve Created real Miracles, dismiss the Dream, and fade back into worrying about the mortgage.  Then our Desires will rise up, and we’ll Fantasize doing what will Really make us come Alive, till our Held Emotions make us realize how incredibly uncomfortable we’d be if we actually came close to indulging that Fantasy.  

This is January’s Grand Cross.  We’re there already, aren’t we.  Celebrate it!  Embrace each glimpse of the Unlimited.  PIAVA it!  Make it BIG.  If we all had to split that lottery, we’d still have more money than we’ve ever dreamed of having.  We could all win!

Notice when you return to worrying about the mortgage, or cancer, or whether Aunt Charlene was insulted, or anything else, Cancel-Neutralize-Upgrade, and Tap it out.  Tap on it till you’re Neutral about it.  

When your Forbidden Desire wells up, Celebrate the Excitement trapped in it.  A secret to Manifesting anything is to practice having the Feeling in your Body, that you’ll have when you Manifest it.  That’s what you really want!  You’ll get bored with a red Lamborghini, or scared by a trip around the World; you’ll never be bored or scared by Excitement.  Get Conscious of the Discomfort you’d feel if your Fantasy Materialized.  “You poor Sweetheart, you’d really Feel uncomfortable, wouldn’t you.  Do you want to talk about it?”  Ask yourself how old you are.

Neptune represents everything bigger than our Individual Soul – the Collective Culture, and its many Shadows.  When we try to look at Neptune through Material eyes, the result is Confusion – which of course is the first stage of Growth in Consciousness.  Shifting to Spiritual eyes, we find Clarity.  Unfinished Business, and all of our Emotional Baggage around it.

Orcus is the Punisher of Broken Oaths.  

Your Held Emotions are Held by vows never to put yourself into that position again.  As with Ixion, where you may have Amends to make over Unintended Consequences of Impulsive Actions, with Orcus you may have Yangtegrity Contracts that need to be Renegotiated.  If your counterparties are long since dead or otherwise gone from your Life, no worries.  If you can feel the Weight of the Contract, you can feel the counterparty, and you can Renegotiate with them exactly where they are in your “mind’s eye” or your bellyvision.

This Renegotiation might take the form of noticing the cable or garden hose that connects you with them in the Energy Realm.  It’s connected to your belly by a fishhook.  Gently twist it out with one hand, then use your other hand to seal the wound with Golden Light.  With grace, hand the hook and the cable back to your counterparty.  If they accept it with equal Grace, you’re Golden, though you don’t want to turn your back until they withdraw.  Make a note to scan your Body in a few days to make sure the cable hasn’t been replaced while you weren’t looking.  If so, rinse and repeat.

If they don’t accept it Gracefully, you may need to take more decisive Action.  Enlist the aid of a Carnivore, then reach out with your imaginary Bowie Knife, slice their end of the cable, and feed the cable to your helper.  An Alligator works great for this purpose.  Give your new friend the assignment to stand guard here, and eat any new attempts to re-cable you.  They may also plead for Mercy; don’t buy it, it’s a ploy.  You want your Energetic Contracts to be Equal-to-Equal.  In these realms, keep your spine straight and your shoulders lifted.  There can be no hindrance to your Energetic Self-Sovereignty.

So a Challenging Neptune-Orcus Angle would be about renegotiating our Social Contracts.

Our Social Contracts stretch a lot farther than we usually imagine.  For instance, if we’re chronically underfunded, we have a Social Contract to Give Away too much of what we need to Survive.  If our Relationships don’t Delight us, then we have a Social Contract of Mistrust or Unworthiness.  When we Renegotiate our Contracts, our counterparties may not be individuals, but Archetypes.  You may need to Renegotiate with Slavery, or Gender Inequality.

There’s an excellent reason why Primary Cultures personified their “Gods.”  If you personify an Archetype, you can Negotiate with it one-on-one.  You can shrink it from a Global Monolith to a Cocker Spaniel.  What if Gender Inequality was a Hamster, and Slavery was a Squirrel; you can personify them however you like, as long as your Vigilance prevents them from nesting in your petticoats.  Use your Mirror and Cable techniques till you stand Tall and Clear and Powerful Beyond Measure, and we can Enjoy the billion-dollar lottery payout together.

Witnessing and Mirrors

Many of us didn’t get education of this sort as kids – in fact, most kids still don’t.  So we need to locate Discernment Skills on our own…

“Self-regulation can be taught to many kids who cycle between frantic activity and immobility. In addition to reading, writing, and arithmetic, all kids need to learn self-awareness, self-regulation, and communication as part of their core curriculum.  Just as we teach history and geography, we need to teach children how their brains and bodies work.  For adults and children alike, being in control of ourselves requires becoming familiar with our inner world and accurately identifying what scares, upsets, or delights us.

“Emotional intelligence starts with labeling your own feelings and attuning to the emotions of the people around you.  We begin very simply: with mirrors.  Looking into a mirror helps kids to be aware of what they look like when they are sad, angry, bored, or disappointed.  Then we ask them, ‘How do you feel when you see a face like that?’  We teach them how their brains are built, what emotions are for and where they are registered in their bodies, and how they can communicate their feelings to the people around them.  They learn that their facial muscles give clues about what they are feeling and then experiment with how their facial expressions affect other people.

“We also strengthen the brain’s watchtower by teaching them to recognize and name their physical sensations.  For example, when their chest tightens, that probably means that they are nervous; their breathing becomes shallow and they feel uptight.  What does anger feel like, and what can they do to change that sensation in their body?  What happens if they take a deep breath or take tine out to jump rope or hit a punching bag?  Does tapping acupressure points help?  We try to provide children, teachers, and other care providers with a toolbox of ways to take charge of their emotional reactions.

“To promote reciprocity, we use other mirroring exercises, which are the foundation of safe interpersonal communication.  Kids practice imitating one another’s facial expressions.  They proceed to imitating gestures and sounds and then get up and move in sync.  To play well, they have to pay attention to really seeing and hearing one another.  Games like Simon Says lead to lots of sniggering and giggling – signs of safety and relaxation.  When teenagers balk at these ‘stupid games,’ we nod understandingly and enlist their cooperation by asking them to demonstrate games to the little kids, who ‘need their help.’ “

The only Challenges in the Sky right now are made by planets that will be somewhere else tomorrow, so we have a nice quiet window here to nurse the wounds from Re-Experiencing our Trauma last month.  

The order of the day is to be Loving and Gentle with ourselves.  If you’re exhausted, small wonder; we’ve just finished a Psychic marathon.  Heavy Emotions that linger from last month can most likely be Let Go without consequences; remember that with Saturn now in Sagittarius, The Most Important Thing is Letting Go and Moving On.  Don’t “Release” them – you don’t want to “Re-lease” and sign up for another year’s lease on them.  Words can be important.  Let them Go instead.  “Cancel, Neutralize, Upgade” them – Cancel the thoughts that would reinforce the negative Emotion, Neutralize the Vibrations they project, and Upgrade the sender (ie, us).

And remember that our Karma does not grasp us, we grasp our Karma.  It’s Inertia, past Habits continuing on their own accord.  You couldn’t even drive a car or pick your nose without the Power of Habituation, so don’t knock it.  Just Dehabituate what no longer Serves you, including any Lingering Heavy Emotions.  There are no planets transiting Scorpio right now, so there is no reason to dig deeper or hold tighter; at the moment, the Treasure is elsewhere.

Of course the key to Dehabituating is Noticing – Discernment, Witnessing.  We can’t Change a Habit if we don’t see it.  Virgo specializes in Discernment, and Jupiter (Expansion) is there Trining (Grace) Pluto (Compulsion), so the Angels will line up behind us when we Intend (or Ask or Affirm or Pray or Visualize or Command or any of the other extended PIAVA Magnetic-Creative techniques) to Change the way we Respond to Disturbances in the Force.

With Chiron moving out of its T-Square with Chaos and Pallas-Pholus-Ixion, the only Squares around today are Venus-Sedna and Sun-Pluto.  Sun-Pluto will last a few more days, but we do that twice a year, so we aren’t rookies at it.  We gauge the Difficulty of celestial Angles by their rarity; the more an Angle appears, the more Experience we have with it.  Just now the Moon completes a T-Square with Sun and Pluto, but this also happens twice a year, and for only a few hours, so it’s an excellent time to focus that Pluto Purging Energy on anything we no longer need.  The Sky is full of Oppositions, but without any Squares, those are just Dualities.

Remember too that it’s always Both/And, never Either/Or.  Whenever you seem to be helicoptering over some Duality like heads or tails, move to the Coin.  Do we cling to what little is left of our Franchise within The System as it fails, for instance (ie, job, money), or do we put our Attention into developing Alternatives (ie, growing food, developing real Community)?  What’s the Coin?  The Coin is Survival (if a different Coin pops out for you, go with that – it’s not Either/Or) and Sustenance.  We move to Sustenance by Letting Go of anything we don’t Need.  That’ll serve us in either Future.

The biggest Configuration facing us is a Mystic or Golden Rectangle – four planets Trine and Sextile to one another.  Remember Phi, the Golden Angle and Golden Ratio we mentioned when we spoke recently of the Saturn-Uranus Phitile?  Well, a Golden Rectangle is Golden because the ratio between the length of a Trine and the length of a Sextile is the Golden Ratio.  The Energy of a Golden Rectangle arises from the Oppositions, but the Oppositions Bridge one another, so it represents a double puzzle with a ready solution.  It’s a Hierophant, Teaching us as we walk through it.  The Oppositions here are dwarf planet Chaos (Infinite Improbability) to Pallas-Pholus-Ixion (Protecting our Pathological Genius), and dwarf planets Haumea (Rebirth) to Eris (Revelation).

Our Pathological Genius is the irrepressible part of you that’s socially unacceptable, or at least your parents believed it to be, so they tried to beat it out of you.  Since it’s irrepressible, you do it anyway, but you do your best to disguise it so no one notices.  Which of course they do, if they’re at all observant.  But they’re too polite to mention it.  So you may as well just come out of whatever closet you think you’re hiding in, at least in the company of your closest friends.  Turns out your Pathological Genius is just that, your Genius.  Your one-of-a-kind Steve Jobs or Osho sort of character that most people can’t stand, but which the World really needs.  You may not have noticed yet, but Pleasing sucks.  It takes you to the lowest common denominator, just below Mediocre.  The World needs you to be a Star instead, and you could easily displease most of the people most of the time being a Star.  Do it anyway.  For the Planet, before it becomes uninhabitable.

No question that it’s scary.  Before you came to this Planet you “picked” these parents and Asked them to try to beat it out of you so you would be sure to become Conscious of it.  Then you went into the cosmic simulator and programmed it to give you a bunch of Past Lives where you were put to Death because of it, so you’d be sure to have Karma around it, so you’d have to make a Conscious Choice to Dehabituate your Resistance to your Genius.  Sure, you were put to Death, Ego Death.  Well, you just did that last month, and you Lived through it.  Your parents made sure that you Ego-Identify with the scam that you aren’t really who you really Are.  We don’t get anywhere except Mediocrity without Ego Death.  Yeah though I walk through the Valley of Ego Death.  iDeath, as Brautigan called it when Jobs was just 13, thirty years before the iMac.  

The adjectival form of Ego is “Political.”  Ego is about Power.  Power is never Given, it’s always Taken.
