Whether you succeed in moving your Consciousness into your Discomfort, or just your Attention, it’s important to Soften and Warm around it. Love is Soft and Warm, Fear is Cold and Hard. We tend to tense up around Pain and Discomfort, but it’s Local Softness, Warmth, and Relaxation that facilitate Blood Flow and Healing.
On 6 November Uranus (Soul) Retrogrades back into Aries. We’ve been Experimenting with Soul embedding deeper into Matter since mid-May as Uranus tested Taurus. Now we go back and debrief Uranus in Aries, which we Lived from 2011 till last May. Uranus in Aries was about beginning a new, more Mysterious Relationship between our Ego and our Soul. We’ve gotten a good start on that project. With Uranus in Taurus we’ve been making Changes in our everyday Life and Beliefs, to better support this new Rapport and Integration.
Uranus in Aries, from 6 November (11am PST) till March 2019, gives us the Opportunity to review what we’ve Learned about Soul and Ego since 2011, and to compare and contrast that with what we’ve Learned since May about their Integration. The 2 November Varuna Station (3pm PDT) at 3 Leo highlights the Uranus Sign Change like so…
The Uranus Diamond Square is one of two in the Varuna-Station chart. A Diamond Square represents a Challenge that pretty much Resolves itself, partly by making a Big Deal out of the Challenge (the Yod or green wedge pointing at Uranus; a Yod means “Pay Attention”), but mostly because of the Truss Bridge (blue triangles, signifying Cooperation and Blessings) connecting the Yod and the Challenge (the red triangle or T-Square).
Sitting on the North Node (our Mission in the Lifetime), Varuna emphasizes the Physical and Magical elements of our Transition from Self-Sabotaging Patterns (South Node or Karma) to Accomplishing our Mission. As the Life Force, Varuna describes the state of our Health, and it describes how well we Embody the process of Animating Matter.
As the two quotes in the previous post aver, we Hupers who Strive for greater Consciousness stand somewhere between the always-in-the-Present-Moment Natural World and the Robot-Hupers who Live their Karma without ever questioning it. Is that a Judgment? Inferno aside, it’s probably a Perspective that has a grain of Truth. As Strivers, though, it is upon us to have Compassion for those “Robot-Hupers” – there but for Grace go we.
Mass Hypnosis, aka Culture, does produce Robot-Hupers, to one degree or another. And with few exceptions, when someone tells me they’re Enlightened – ie, they’ve Cleared all of their Karma, I don’t actually Believe them, because only the Ego would so boast. We all know full well how much Robot we still have within us – or we wouldn’t be Striving for greater Consciousness.
As last week’s Sappho/Self-Love Station triggered our Self-Doubt, giving us the Opportunity to bring more of that into Consciousness where it can be Loved into Oblivion, so this week’s Varuna/Life-Force Station will trigger our Death Drive. A definition of Addiction is a Behavior which we keep doing even after it has obviously been Harmful to us. Not all Addictions Kill, but many do. Sugar does Kill.
Often our Death Drive is split off from our Everyday Self; we repeat our Addiction while either conveniently “forgetting” that it can Kill us, or while Remembering that it can and doing it anyway, sometimes while Feeling Guilty. Some say that it’s not the Addiction that Harms us, but the Guilt – but it can be either or both. And frequently our “convenient forgetting” is not Conscious, but a split in our Consciousness – part of us knows its Harmful and part of us doesn’t, and the two parts may not talk be on the same Facebook page.
The part of us that “Forgets” is a Robot part of us, not so much from Culture, but from Regression. There was a time in our Childhood (or our Other Lifetimes, but is it ever not both?) when the Addiction Rescued us from Held Emotions, the kind that we’d rather Die than Feel. That Held Emotion may have been Forbidden by the Culture of our Family of Origin, so that our budding Addiction would have been Positively Rewarded and/or even Encouraged.
Of course Soul planned all that, to set up Heuristic circumstances that would help us Get Conscious.
So now our Soul (Uranus) stands on a knife-edge between Pure Matter (Taurus) and pure Spirit (Aries). As Pure Spirit we would Banish an Addiction with a swish of a Wing. As Pure Matter we would Merge with the Addiction. The Addiction would be in our very Cells, beckoning to its compatriots that are still outside our Body to join it. Cancer and diabetes, both of which Eat Sugar for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, do this.
Even a Cold can do it. Have you ever noticed that there’s a Decision Point in “catching” a Cold? You get the sniffles and you think, “Oh, time to cut back on Dairy” or Gluten or Glyphosate or Sugar or whatever messes with your Mucus Membranes – and you do that, and your sniffles disappear. But if instead your thoughts are “Oh, I’m getting a Cold,” guess what happens next. Germs are ever-present; they infect us when we get Vulnerable to them, and don’t when we aren’t.
So the Spiritual Function of this Diamond Star is to Remind us that whatever we can do from Spirit, such as Instant Healing, we can also do in Matter, because we are Spirit.
The Roots that Create the Self-Resolving Blessing (the blue triangles) include Mercury (intellect) and Pallas-Aletheia-Makemake (Boundaries-Truth-Manifestation). The latter is just what we’ve been talking about – the Truth is that We Set Our Own Boundaries Around What We Allow Ourself to Manifest and What We Don’t. Is Instant Healing part of our Everyday vocabulary?
The phrase “Mind Over Matter,” which is often used to describe Instant Healing, is a misnomer. Mercury is prominent in the other Diamond Star, and as we’ll see when we dissect that, the Intellect’s ample Powers reside in Duality, while both Healing and Growth in Consciousness are Multifarious.
It’s not Mind that overpowers Matter. Mind-Air and Matter-Earth are Equal elements of the astrological Wheel. You could instead say “PIAVA over Matter,” because Intention and Prayer, for example, do have the Power to penetrate the Barrier between Consciousness and the Unconscious, and correct our misinterpretation that Matter is solid and constant.
