Gauntlet Redux

Well, the noon Moon wasn’t so soon.  The New Moon’s twelve hours later than Gauntlet alleged, at a few second prior to 12am PST March 1.  That’s midnight on February 28, not noon.  We’ve patched Gauntlet.  The New Moon by the way Trines Stationary Jupiter and triggers the Yintegrity Uranus T-Square.

As long as we have your attention, we may as well provide some news…

• NASA announced today that they’ve doubled down on their ability to detect planets in other solar systems, now announcing in a single day hundreds of Earth-like (to one degree or another) planets.  It’ll be pretty freaky for the once-borns and twice-borns to try to comprehend, once it’s finally upfront that we’re all aliens.  That’d certainly shift folks’ perspectives.
• Bill Moyers has another couple of outstanding segments on the rampant fascism in the USofA, one on the “Deep State” and another on the “TPP” or Trans-Pacific Sellout.  And he even has an article on “tiny houses.”
• A new movie being built about Seeds.  And an internet exchange where folks with extra woodchips can get together with folks who want some woodchips.  If you missed, the Back to Eden video is remarkable.  Portland Oregon has a website locating harvestable free food – it could be a model for one in your own neighborhood.
• This is pretty techy, but there are a few interesting things in “21 Technologies that Will Decentralize the World” from Sharables.
• This appeals to scatological humor, but it’s also important.  There’s a nasty virus called Clostridium difficile that kills many folks because it takes over their gut after an antibiotic kills all of their good gut bacteria.  Since antibiotics are the cause, they’re useless as a solution.  But many folks have been cured by of all things a fecal transplant.  There is now a poo bank for such transplants.

A big block of Montana Sapphire.  Blue Sapphire will help with just about everything we need to do here, as well as “dispel poverty, injustice, and ill treatment by those in power” according to Marquist & Frasl (Crystalline Communion, p.131).  Actually, dispelling poverty, injustice, and ill treatment by those in power wouldn’t be out of line here either!

The Uranus T-Square with Pluto and Jupiter is of course another variation on what 2012 was about, and our primary theme for 2012-2015…

This is the Exposition of the Jupiter-Pluto-Uranus T-Square, as the Can-Opener occurred in mid-August 2013.  The Confidence-Builder phase happens in April.  Jupiter, you know, is an Amplifier.  And you certainly recall that Stationary means Strong.  In other words…

Discovering a lot about what we must do to re-align our Identity so it more closely approximates out Soul’s Intention for us.

We’re on notice that paying Attention to our Insights about what we need to do to come into alignment with our True Self is The Most Important Thing here. 

Don’t worry about letting your Attention to everything else lapse – it’ll still be there when we get back. 

If your True Self threatens your Security, PIAVA a loving and gentle, but rapid and complete, transition.

You can’t Think your way to Epiphanies or Miracles; Reframing changes your way of Thinking, so trying to Think your way to Miracles is like trying to change your oil while driving the Autobahn.

If you’re disappointed with the pace of Change (yours or the World’s), PIAVA that the door of your cage opens on its own.

By all means, after your Big Shift, use your mind to think about all of the implications and all of the fun ways you’ll be adjusting everything in your Life to fit the New You.

And while we weren’t looking back in February, the North Node inched its way out of Scorpio and into Libra.  Libra’s a lot more concerned with being friendly than Scorpio, as Scorpio needs to know what’s really going on, and cares a lot less about the fallout from uncovering hidden Truths.

So we can expect the World to be a little less harsh than it has been.

Portal 2.21

The next astroevent as we drop into the Big Turnabout due at the end of February and the beginning of March, occurs at 2pm PST February 21, when the Moon not only crosses Saturn, but Occults it.  Normally, when a crossing occurs, the faster planet just crosses the Longitude of the slower planet.  But if the two happen to be on the same Declination – a projection into the sky of Latitude, more or less – the faster one Eclipses or Occults the slower one, if it’s bigger in apparent size.  To “occult” just means to “hide.”

So, what’s it mean.  Saturn’s lit up anyway, by being Stationary, but then so is everybody else.  An Eclipse or Occultation is considered a Big Deal.  So…

We’ll be getting Saturn’s usual dose of perceived Limitation, which is in fact nothing but a request from the Universe to Focus on the Most Important Thing.  Often that’s scary because we don’t want to drop all those other eggs we’re juggling, but not to worry.  Surround yourself with foam pillows, and you can pick up your Next-to-Most-Important Thing later on.

Saturn’s all of four arc-minutes from its March-2nd Station, so there’s no question that it’s lit up.  When something is Eclipsed, it becomes Conscious, because what merged with the background before suddenly becomes obvious in its absence.  So if it feels like the floor just gave way, just relax and flap your wings.

For many of us The Most Important Thing these days is letting go of our self-sabotaging Limiting Beliefs.  I’ve been having recurring snippets of memory about many lifetime situations where I would prefer to have responded differently than I did then.  You could call them regrets, or just “You idiot!” messages from my own mind.  The Most Important Thing around these is to be loving and gentle with yourself – both your then-self and your now-self.  To do otherwise is to make your Karma stronger.

You can consider the other actor here, the Moon, to be “just” a trigger, lighting up Saturn.  Of course you can go deeper if you want.  The Moon can represent Emotion, and like the story above, you may realize ways in which you Limit your respect for your own Emotional Life.  You could see the Moon in its role as Intuition, and you may find Saturn prompting you to accept it rather than rejecting it as improbable.  Or you might encounter the Moon’s Manifestation face, and get new insights into Focusing your Intention in ways that make Manifestation of your Desires more likely.

Portal 2.19

We’re starting into our big early-March Turning-The-World-Upside-Down adventure, when six planets are Stationary within a week – four turning Retrograde and two turning Direct, with a New Moon in the middle of it all.

Between 2pm and 11pm PST on February 19, the Moon will cross the Mars-Vesta-North Node-Ceres complex, with Mars, Vesta, and Ceres all Stationary turning Retrograde.  Of course the North Node is already Retrograde.

You can figure the Portal will start opening around six hours prior to 2pm, and technically it’s still open for six hours after 11pm, though I expect we’ll be pretty wrung out by then.  If you get busy and miss the Window, though, don’t hesitate to get into Meditation after 11pm, as you’ll easily catch a good part of the Energy.

Mars turns backward before it crosses Vesta, so it’s not time yet to add Action to this equation.  It’s more about Insight, since the whole complex is one corner, with Lilith at the other corner, of the Chiron Mjolnir.  Mjolnir meaning Epiphany, and Chiron meaning Reframing, or changing your point of view in a way that substantially alters your orientation toward Life.

Vesta-North Node-Ceres by itself means we’re getting serious about identifying, embracing, addressing, and transforming any Beliefs we have that sabotage us when we contemplate Following Our Joy, also known as Our Mission in the Lifetime.  This Energy isn’t complete till July, and Mars gets scared and backs off here, so it’s a trial run, but an important one.  We’ll be doing this in stages.  Here we’re just working on the foundation.

The Square to Lilith means we’re being Challenged to clear away any impediments to our Yintegrity – to our ability and willingness to live according to our own standards and Desires rather than anyone else’s.

Remember that in general it takes seven generations to clear away detritus from the Limiting Beliefs our ancestors developed in order to cope with the circumstances that they lived under.  Seven generations ago was around the year 1800.

• There were only a few less than one billion humans on the planet then, which would have given each person seven times as much elbow room on the Planet as we have today.
• The steam engine was just becoming practical, and almost all travel was still by horse and ship.  Artificial Light, when available, was from candles and whale oil – widespread use of petroleum was still six decades away.
• The USofA, a quarter-century old, stopped at the Mississippi.  Today’s US population is sixty times as large as it was then, though it’s spread over a wider area.  The Slave Trade was alive and well.
• Napoleon was just invading Italy, long before his Russian fiasco and his Waterloo.
• King George III was still around, and the newly-formed UK had to go through another George and a William before they even got to Queen Victoria.
• Catherine the Great has just recently died as the Empress of Russia.
• Japan was run by Samurai and wasn’t opened to the rest of the world till 50 years later.
• The first (partially penal) European colony at Sydney Cove in Australia was twelve years old.
• As the Dutch were losing their grip on World Domination, the British were just starting to move into South Africa.
• Brazil was still part of Portugal, and even served as the seat of the Portuguese monarchy after Napoleon invaded Portugal.

In fact, we’ve barely had time to adjust to the First Industrial Revolution yet!  And that doesn’t even count our personal Karma.  We better get busy on this Work, as the Third Industrial Revolution is fast upon us.

Oracular Full Moon

Translucent forms of Beryl – Beryllium Cyclosilicate – are preferred for Scrying.  Beryl comes in many colors; the transparent Gem form is called Emerald when green.

Algol, the Eye of Medusa

Didn’t notice until just now (with thanks to Elizabeth) that the Eighth Harmonic Full Moon was also Square to the Star Algol, near the end of Taurus, completing the Grand Cross with Saturn.  In just about every mythic tradition you can name, Algol is considered the epitome of “evil.”  It’s the Eye of Medusa.  A glance turns you to Stone.  And like most things “evil,” when we look to see who’s making the condemnations, it gets very clear – it’s the Olde Male.

In Kelley Hunter’s book Living Lilith: Four Dimensions of the Cosmic Feminine, Algol/Medusa is one of the Four.  Here’s a snippet from page 27…

“Kalli Halvorsen of HerStar calls Algol the star of female passion and intensity.  As the Eye of Medusa, Algol gives witness to the violation and abuse of feminine power and sexuality, she suggests, which gives rise to a profound rage.  This rage can be self-protective, yet it often needs some kind of expression so that it does not turn in on itself from paralysis of repressed emotions, a cancerous emotional situation.  In Epheta, Vivian Bennerson, ‘Mother B,’ a wise woman who worked with Medusa as I work with Lilith, wrote, ‘Let us become angry enough to care about ourselves… let self-love develop as it ought once we admit and realize that this power is within our grasp.’ “

And yes, one glance at feminine power and sexuality can turn an Olde Male away from all manner of destruction and greed, as if turned to Stone.  Algol is currently at 27 degrees of Taurus, and like all Stars moving forward only at the rate of the Progression of the Equinoxes, the slow wobble that gives the Earth it’s 24,000-year Cycle.  Our movement into the Age of Aquarius is part of that Cycle.

Remember in Eighth Harmonic Full Moon how we said that we had six out of the eight positions necessary to make a Grand Octile?  Well, Algol makes the seventh.  That makes the eighth position, the Vacancy, the most important point in the chart, because we need to fill in that Energy in order to bring the entire chart into Balance.  What sort of Energy is that?  Eleven degrees of Libra, “A professor peering over her glasses at her students.”  That means it’s up to us to seek knowledge here.

The Grand Octile

But what’s going on there at the Vacancy?  The Asteroid Apollo is nearby.  If we count Apollo, that makes eight.  It’s a lovely chart…

Two Grand Crosses, an Octile apart.  And look at all the Mjolnirs…

Epiphanies galore!  So who is this Apollo?  Among other things, he was the God of Light, Healing, Truth, and Prophesy.  He’s usually depicted naked – without any Masks – as befits our overarching Yintegrity Uranus-Pluto Square.  Apollo Opposes Uranus here, converting the Uranus-Pluto-Jupiter T-Square into a Grand Cross.

As the God of Prophesy, one of his totems was the Omphalos Stone at the Temple of Delphi…

An Omphalos is a navel, and the Omphalos at Delphi represented the bellybutton of the World, or the gateway to the center of the Unconscious.  It also channeled the hypnotizing fumes to the Oracles.  Those designs on the Stone are usually considered to be a net of knots.  But those aren’t knots.  They’re Vajras…

Remember what a Vajra is?  It’s the Hindu equivalent of a Mjolnir, symbolizing Lightning, Diamond: incomparably hard, blindingly fast, and – your choice – incredibly destructive or blindingly illuminating.  Destructive of illusion, delusion, and deception, just as Angie says in her description of the Eighth Harmonic.  If we’ve clothed ourselves with illusion, delusion, and deception, we may be stripped naked.  In one epiphanic glance, our Masks could be turned to Stone, and shattered.

What an incredible “coincidence,” that it would be Apollo the God of Illumination that completes our Grand Octile, our octet of Mjolnirs!

Clear Beryl is called Goshenite.  Beryllium, very toxic in powdered form, symbolizes Serpent Energy, Kundalini, Medusa’s hair, the Temptress of Lilith’s “rival” Eve.  There’s a ring-pass-not here, in the sense that opening up fully to the Oracle may turn your Life upside down.

 

Cardinal 10-14

A bruised-up Manganotantalite Crystal.  Manganotantalite helps us speak in such a way that others can hear us, allowing us to convey difficult and sensitive things without upsetting them.

Now

As you may remember, the action these days is occuring at 10-14 degrees, mostly in the Cardinal signs.  Right now it’s even concentrated into 11-13 degrees.  If we look at the current chart (ignoring all the Mjolnirs), it’s fairly simple…

The Uranus T-Square with Pluto and Jupiter as the base, and the Chiron Trine-Sextile across the same base.  Pretty easy to call…

The Compulsion to Expand our Yintegrity is irresistible.  The “easy way out” is to Reframe the whole picture. 

That means to stop and examine your basic assumptions about Life, particularly the ones you’ve never questioned, and the ones that were handed down to you by the significant adults in your youth.  When you were but small, what were your parents’ favorite phrases?  Money doesn’t grow on trees?  Nice girls don’t do that?  Don’t be a sissy?  You’ll go blind if you do that?  Chances are, those repeated phrases hypnotized you into believing they’re actually true. 

Even if you’ve proven to yourself that they aren’t, it doesn’t mean they don’t still lurk down there in the Underwhere.  Make a list.  When you’re tempted to judge someone – anyone, what advice would you give them to help them avoid trouble next time?  These are your Limiting Beliefs, which you must somehow transcend if you are to align with your own Soul.

You can’t do it intellectually, and you can’t just turn yourself upside down and shake yourself by the ankles till your Limited Beliefs fall out.  You have to PIAVA, and you have to outsmart yourself doing it.  For instance, you might PIAVA…

Great Spirit, may I please lovingly and gently experience what it’s like to have enough money? 

Visualize doing what nice girls don’t do, but doing it in a nice way.

Declare your intention to act out what it looks like to be a sissy.

Wonder what it would be like to be blind and still enjoy Life fully.

That’s a snapshot of what’s going on for all of us, irrespective of our Natal charts.  But Life doesn’t happen irrespective of our Natal charts.  Our Natal charts are like filters through which we experience the World.  The interactions between the Now and our Natal charts will be greatest if our Natal charts include planets at 10-14 degrees.  Let’s pick a sample and see how that might work.

Then

Just to choose a birth date at random, let’s look at, say, July 1962.  The biggest event of that month was the Neptune Station, so let’s pick that day.  If we draw that chart and draw in only the Angles at 10-14 degrees…

Whoa!  That’s a lot more complicated than the first chart!  What would it mean?

T-Square #1

Well, obviously with Neptune Stationary (Strong), we’d start there.  It’s that trident marked “SD” on the right side.  Neptune represents our relationship with everything larger than ourself, including especially the Source of All That Is, but also our Culture and Tribe.  It’s Square (the red lines) to the Nodal Axis (the headphones and earbuds near the bottom and top), with Saturn (the “h” next to the earbuds) on the South Node…

We’re unlikely to ever feel secure about our relationship with the Goddess, or for that matter to Trust anything larger than ourself.  We probably feel like we have to do everything ourself if we want it done “properly.”  It will probably feel like we’re always having to clean up other people’s messes.

Are there any “helpers,” or easy-ways-out, like Chiron provided in the Now chart?  Yes, Pluto (the golf ball in the cup at the bottom) is Quincunx (green line) to Saturn-South Node…

We’re obviously going to have to be dedicated to tireless Curiosity about why we’re always feeling like we have to clean up other people’s messes.

On the other side of the Nodal Axis there’s a Trine-Sextile Bridge (the blue lines) formed by Eris (the ball and down-arrow at top left) and Mars-Pallas (the “boy” sign with the diamond-on-a-stick, on the left side), which makes a Neptune Yod (green wedge pointing at Neptune)…

Wow, we’re going to have to practice being really skillful at “telling it like it is,” so we don’t alienate everyone, because we have a real gift for seeing what other people are Denying.  We wonder how we can make that easier on ourself.  Probably with a lot of prayer and surrender to the Goddess.

Which of course is a problem, since we’re unlikely to trust Her.  But it’s a T-Square, so we have to somehow understand how prayer and surrender to the Goddess is our greatest Skill – T-Squares represent Mastery through Challenge.  Yes, the Challenge, we get that.  But the Mastery?  We’ll have to PIAVA to grok that!

T-Square #2

There’s a second T-Square, as Mars-Pallas T-Squares the Opposition between Jupiter-Chiron (top of chart – the curly 4 for Jupiter next to the Chiron key) and Venus-Pluto (the “girl” sign next to the golf ball-in-a-cup).  Lots going on there, let’s take it apart.  Jupiter-Chiron…

Oh, we’re a Magician.  Well, we knew that, we’ve just always been careful not to build a public Ego on it just in case it ever failed us and we’d look foolish.  We’ll have to make a note to embrace that.

Venus-Pluto…

You know, we really do sincerely believe that our way of doing things is the best way.  You can’t admit that to too many people, because they think you’re an egotist.  But it’s true.

Mars-Pallas…

Boundaries are important, and we know very well how to set them.

And the T-Square…

Well dang, if we’re such a Magus and we’re so good at knowing the right way to do things and set good boundaries, how come we’re always getting tripped up by things not going the way we want them to?  Oh yeah, we remember, those are Learning Opportunities!  Who needs Learning Opportunities – how about something just working out once in a while!

Any “helpers” for this T-Square?  Oh, the biggest one is the Trine-Sextile (blue lines) to Neptune her Stationary self, on the other side of the (red) Opposition…

Okay, so Surrender to the Goddess should do the trick.  We’ll probably also have to give up our expectations of particular outcomes too, won’t we – that’s what Surrender means, doesn’t it.  That’ll be hard, but we can do it.

Big Curiosity

And look, the ends of the T-Squares are Semi-Sextile (green lines) to one another, making a Quincunx Box (the green rectangle) across the middle of the chart.  A Quincunx box – the Twelfth Harmonic, or Pattern-Breaking – means we’re always having to redesign ourself, and we never really know who we’re going to be next month…

That can get really exhausting.  People always complaining about how we’re not “consistent” enough for them.  Yintegrity – what a joke!  Can you even imagine doing what we want to do, moment to moment?  What chaos!  Of course, that would be an opportunity for us to examine some of our Limiting Beliefs, wouldn’t it.

And each of the four Squares (shorter red lines) has a Tricolor (red-green-blue Triangle) attached to it.  Those are very positive, if we can muster the Curiosity.  Remember these string Challenge, Curiosity, and Grace together in such a way that if we can respond to the Challenge with Curiosity then we can unleash the Grace.

When we’re Challenged by the dissonance between our Focus on what’s not working and our Vision of how it should be, we need to Wonder how better Boundaries might resolve the dissonance.  That’s real Wonder, not rhetorical wonder.

And Neptune Square (red) North Node Quincunx (green) Jupiter-Chiron Trine (blue) Neptune…

We get lost easily when we try to figure out what our Mission is.  We guess we just have to let the Magic do it for us.

If we’re such a Magician why are we always putting our foot in it?  Oh, we get it, we have to stop doing everything ourself and let the Goddess do it for us.  How the devil can we do that?  We’ll just have to PIAVA.

Not to mention Mars-Pallas Square to Venus-Pluto Quincunx to Saturn-South Node Trine to Mars Pallas…

We can’t help it if they get upset because we do it better than they do.  We’d be glad to help them learn how to do it better, but that’s hard when they seem so irritated.  Oh my gosh, wait, maybe that’s not their irritation but ours?  Whoa, that’d shift the whole World!

Then and Now

So how does the Now chart link up with the Then Natal chart?  Well, the only place where they actually overlap, by Sign, is in Aries, where the Now Uranus (the Challenge to Yintegrity) sits on the Then Eris (the need to Tell It Like It Is).  What might that look like…

Well, we guess we need to make another list – a list of people who’s Egos we’re protecting.   If we’re going to go around without any censors on our True Self speaking their mind, then people’s sensitivities are going to get bruised.  That’s going to trigger a lot of Abandonment.  If you aren’t nice to people they’ll dump you.

Do we have any really close friends, folks with whom we can speak our mind without any editing and without fear of alienating them?  Maybe we could ask them if they’d help us practice ways to be more straightforward with other people.  Like instead of laughing together at how silly other people are, maybe we cold brainstorm gentle ways to tell then how silly they are, gently enough that they could hear us and not get upset.

Of course, all of the other Then concerns will be lit up as well, and the Reframing Magic in the Now chart will be a powerful aide.  Not an easy road, with the Now chart so insistent and the Then chart so complex.  But it’s real Life.

Through a Crack in the Wall

So says Jeremy Rifkin in The Third Industrial Revolution (pp.213-14)…

“The merchant guilds in the free cities of late medieval Europe also had a limited idea about acquisition of property.  They fixed the price and quantity of their production to merely reproduce their way of life, without the intention of acquiring property in excess of what they needed to preserve a steady state of existence.

“The First Industrial Revolution quickened the production of goods beyond that of any previous period of history, allowing artisans and laborers to live better than the royalty of just a few centuries earlier.  Caught up in the elation, Enlightenment economists began to extol the innate virtues of private property relations in the marketplace, and came to see the acquisition of property as an inherent biological drive, rather than a social proclivity conditioned by a specific communication/energy paradigm.

“The market mechanism became the ‘invisible hand’ to regulate the supply and demand of private property and to assure that its distribution was as impartial as the laws of Newtonian physics that governed the universe.  The pursuit of self-interest – also regarded as an innate quality of human nature – would guarantee  a steady advance of the general welfare and move humankind along the road to unlimited progress.  Concepts like ‘caveat emptor‘ – let the buyer beware – and ‘buy cheap and sell dear’ created the context for a new, binary social reality, separating the world into ‘mine’ versus ‘thine.’

“The emergent Third Industrial Revolution, however, brings with it a very different conception of human drives, and the assumptions that govern human economic activity.  The distributed and collaborative nature of the new economic paradigm is forcing a fundamental rethinking of the high regard previously bestowed on private property relations in markets.

“The quickening connection of the nervous system of every human being to every other human being on Earth, via the Internet and other new communications technologies, is propelling us into a global social space and a new simultaneous field of time.  The result is that access to vast global networks is becoming as important a value as private property rights were in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.”

Nightmares and a Blessing

Don’t watch those before you go to bed.  Tap out any creepy feelings you get.  That’s real stuff, but we don’t have to take it into our Body and leave it there.  Instead, we can use it to ferret out what we’ve already taken into our Body, and Let it Go.  That’s how we Let Go of Karma, by being brave enough to be Present with the awful feelings surrounding it.  It gets easier and quicker every time we do it.

The February 14 Full Moon (4pm PST) chart is loaded with Eighth-Harmonic Angles, the Eighth being about Realignment and Balance.  We’re two points shy of a Grand Octile – eight planets evenly spaced ’round the Zodiac.  In addition to our old friend the Chiron Mjolnir, there are Mjolnirs to Uranus, Jupiter, Saturn, and the Moon.  Mjolnirs are about Epiphanies.

So be prepared for one heck of an eye-opening Full Moon!  We’ll be learning startling things about our True Self, our Culture, and Manifestation – whether or not we’re Open to having our World Reframed, or turned sideways.  If we aren’t Open, we’ll just dismiss them as improbable.  If we are – Wow, be ready to leap forward!  In honor of the occasion, Eris even has a Trioctile to Pallas – which is good, because it will allow us to screen out perceptions that we’d experience as psychotic.  Other than that, all bets are off.

Look at all these gold lines, mostly Trioctiles, with a few Octiles…

Don’t forget that Squares are Bioctiles.

See if you can tease it apart.  If we remove the Chiron Mjolnir and the Eris Trioctile, we have two T-Squares (the dark red lines) that are Octile to one another – that’s what makes all the extra Mjolnirs.  Uranus is of course T-Square to the Jupiter-Pluto Opposition, and Saturn T-Squares the Full Moon Axis.  Saturn, which says Pay Attention to the Most Important Thing, is the kingpin in the chart.  The bottom line is…

Pay Attention to Expanding your Realignment with your True Self.  Sure, you’re Scared to drop your Masks, they’ve served you well all your Life.  But now you get to relax a little and just be yourself more, do and say things you always wanted to do or say.  Be as silly or serious as you want to be, moment to moment.  You don’t have to worry about being “consistent” for anybody, even for yourself.  That was your Mask that had to feign consistency, not the Real You.  Your Life is Art, go ahead and make it so.

Don’t worry if you believe you don’t really know who your True Self is; it’ll take care of itself just fine if you let it.  Don’t worry about feeling foolish or looking dumb – everybody’s in the same boat.  You’ve practiced with your Masks for many – or very many – years; you haven’t practiced with your True Self as much, so of course you’re a newbie, just like everybody else.  You’ll be slick as can be before you know it.

If your World appears to be turning inside out and upside down, let it be.  It’s not a breakdown, it’s a breakthrough.  It’s like the Sun coming out after a Storm.  Look beyond the part of yourself that’s Scared, breathe, and find the part of yourself that’s Excited.  Exalted even.  You do want to come back and be lovingly and gently Present with your Fear – tap it out, or just sit quietly with your arms around it.  Then when you feel a little stronger, you can go play.

Being a Full Moon, the impact will linger beyond the Portal itself, but the Energy will be strongest as we approach the Full Moon itself, especially six hours before and after.  As Leonard Cohen puts it, “There is a crack, a crack in everything / That’s how the Light gets in / That’s how the Light gets in.”
