“As I tell my students, again and again, we can’t create from a place of survival. If we’re operating from our first three energy centers, if we’re trying to meet our most basic needs, if we’re worried about food, shelter, or safety, if we’re constantly reacting in anger and frustration, then it’s not the time to create. We first need to be centered. We need to be operating from a place of order…

” I start from there – from balance. And then, beginning from that point of homeostasis, I ask myself these fundamental questions: ‘What is my next greatest potential to experience in life? What is the next unknown that would evolve my perception of myself, the way I see the world, and my future?’ Over the decades I’ve been developing and practicing this work, I’ve always approached it with this thought: ‘My life is the great experiment. And I am the scientist.’

“Many years ago, when I had my first clinic in the Pacific Northwest, I used to develop patient X-rays myself. I’d enter the darkroom – and, in the 10 or so minutes it took to process the X-rays, in that place void of any light, I’d work on connecting with the unknown. As the image revealed itself on film after it exited the processor, I’d practice becoming no body; no one; no thing; no where; in no time.

“My premise was this: If I’m truly investing my attention and energy into the unknown, if I really believe in it, really put my attention on it, and I do it with clear intention, then I’ll see the evidence of that effort – in the form of interesting, evolving experiences in my life. And over time, as I practiced, I became more and more adept. As I went deeper into the experiment, those experiences would accumulate. Eventually, I had enough evidence in my life that I was able to detach from any attempt to direct or control the outcome.

“Where We Place Our Attention Is Where We Place Our Energy. And so, each time I entered the darkroom – or, once I began traveling frequently, any time I was on a runway; sometimes four times in a day – I did so with the same intention: I’m letting go of any expectation of what my next experience will be. I’m just going to trust that it will be. I would simply make it be about my effort – not the outcome. I’d tell myself, ‘Since the present moment is where the unknown exists, and since where I place my attention is where I place my energy, the effort of staying truly present in the unknown should be what brings the novel event to me.‘

“I thought of it like investing in a bank account. Except what I was investing in was the unknown. I approached it, each time, with a calm sense of knowing. Not the energy of trying; not the energy of hoping. I just knew that if I kept tuning in; kept connecting; kept being open and curious … sooner or later, something unusual would happen in my life. I’d pause and think: if my thoughts truly create my life, if I truly am a creator, if I just keep investing in the unknown, then my body will follow my mind to this unknown experience.

“Cultivating Curiosity. Often, when people approach me about my practice, it’s because they’re feeling stuck. They’re hung up on wanting an outcome – and their attachment to the thing they seek is exactly what’s preventing them from experiencing it in their lives. They’re preoccupied with wanting. And wanting implies separation. But in the unknown, there’s no separation. That’s because there’s no thing in nothing to be separate from.

And so, each time I connect – each time I become no body, no one, no thing, no where, in no time – I’m not wanting for anything. There’s no want involved; this is purely about curiosity. I am the scientist. And my life is the great experiment. And I’m interested in seeing if I can evolve my truth to some degree. What we’re talking about, essentially, is the delicate balance between intention and surrender – which I’ll talk more about in Part II.”

The Big News is that our Chief Asteroid Officer has discovered that there’s an asteroid Ganesa, whom we know as Ganesha or Ganesh. the Remover of Obstacles and God of Wisdom, Purity, Innocence, Valor, New Beginnings, and Luck, in many Religions …

And it turns out that asteroid Ganesa was Stationary during the Totality of the Eclipse, 3:23 am PST 8 November 2022 (11:23 am GMT, 9:23 pm AEST Qld.), in 13 Cancer, which fills the Vacancy in what would have been the only T-Square in the Eclipse chart, making it a Grand Unx! As our CAO is fond of saying, You Can’t Make This Stuff Up!!

An Unx is ¹/₁₂th of anything, the Twelfth Harmonic (Pattern-Breaking) and an Unx Angle sits between two planets that are within a few Degrees of being one Sign apart. In a Grand Unx, twelve planets are spaced more or less equally around the entire Zodiac. That gives us…

• 12 Unxes, or Opportunities to Break Patterns More Easily because the Universe helps! So any Karma you have between planets in adjacent Signs is Ripe for Harvesting. For instance, are you happy with the way your Manifestation Skills are Working? If not, then the first question to ask, is whether What You Want is Respectful to All Beings (Makemake Conjunct Hopi OOB). Past this hurdle? Then, any Interference from your Held Emotions (Makemake Unx South Node)? Aha, that’s an Unx, so we may be able to just PIAVA it – I Wonder What It Will Be Like When My Held Emotions Don’t Inhibit My Manifestation.
• Considering Dr. Joe’s comments above, I’m using what for me is a New PIAVA – After several Deepening Breaths through my Nose with my Mouth Closed, I Fill Up my Torso from the bottom to the top, right up into my Brainstem, till I Experience Joy (pausing for a minute if hyperventilation makes me dizzy, then resuming). Then I put a Miniature Diorama of What I Want (here, Pure Manifestation without Karmic Interference) into a Helium Balloon, and Let It Rise into the Heavens.
• 12 Fully Self-Resolving T-Squares (red triangles), or SuperPowers, one for each planet or group thereof. For example, if we’re Willing to Claim it, the Merger of Our Soul and Our Lifetime Mission is Brightly Illuminated (the Ecliplse on Uranus Conjunct North Node). That’s Heady! Upper Limits! I need a little Chocolate before I Close my Eyes and Feel what that’s Like! (I haven’t had my Daily Ration yet.) Subtle, very “Ordinary” yet not at all, Easy to Lose the Thread! I’ll put in a Balloon the Intention to Remember this Feeling at least twice a day henceforth, and Let It Go.
• 6 Yin Gate Mystery Schools, one for each Opposition, signifying “Debates” that are much Deeper than the Logical Mind can Grasp. For instance, Karma Opposite Moira-Altjira. I’ve been Thinking that our Karma is pretty similar to our Fate (Moira), but I Guess I need to Open the Question Up to my Intuition instead of just Thinking. And what does Altjira (The Field from which Life Evolved ) have to do with it?
• The influence of a Full Moon lasts only about two weeks, so this is Temporary, Right? Yes, but All There Is Is Now, so it’s Permanent too, as every Moment Teaches us a different Truth about the Ever-present Nowness. There’s something Unknown that I need to Grok about how Fate and Karma interact with the Evolution of Life. A Question for another Diorama Balloon.
• 4 Grand Trines (Consummate Grace, blue equilateral triangles), one for each Element – Earth, Air, Fire, Water. One example: Hybris Trine Karma Trine Chiron-Nemesis Trine Hybris, each Trine implying Effortless Cooperation between the Qualities. Hmmm, till I Break Though it, Chiron-Nemesis can be Despair about Guilt. Been there before, fortunately not for a while. The way to Break Karma is to Break our Ego-Attachment to it (Hybris), our Identification with it. So Grace between Hybris (Hubris) and Karma is certainly Welcome. Sounds like the next fortnight will be a good time to Jettison some serious Ancient Karmic Guilt.
• Where in The Great Work of Our Time (Climate Disaster) do I have Guilt? I do often feel like I should be contributing more on the Global Level, and if I’d won the Big Lottery, that’s where I’d put most of it. Do we have Lifetimes where we Collaborated with the Colonizers, or Died failing to Stop them? The Colonizers have contributed the gasping Lion’s share of the Warming gases, and still do. Another Balloon. Can’t do Colonizers choking on their own Emissions (see Hopi-Makemake above – besides, it’s a Fire or Spiritual Grand Trine), so my Diorama will have to feature Indigenous People Breathing Free and Leading the Way instead.
• 3 Grand Crosses, one for each Modality – Creative, Stable, Changing. A Grand Cross (a red square with a red X across the diagonals) is another type of SuperPower, where we’re Skilled at Resolving the Recurring Hassles thrown out by very Complex Problems, with lots of internal and external Interactions. What about the Evolutionary Grand Cross – Moira-Altjira Square Ceres-Thereus-Kassandra-Orcus-Sisyphus Square Karma Square Nessus Square Moira-Altjira. It’s gonna be a lot of Work just straightening out Ceres et al before we even start on the Grand Cross!
• I think it might be about Breaking the Perpetuity of Ongoing Effort to Get Past our Denial and Be Relentless about making our Karma-Breaking Sustainable (Sisyphus-Kassandra-Thereus-Orcus-Ceres), and Doing it Equitably and Collaboratively (Nessus). Though we Admit that we don’t Understand it, we’ve already Let Fly a Balloon about how Fate and Karma interact with the Evolution of Life. So maybe I’m already demonstarting this SuperPower through this Blog, where I’m intending to help Coach us all on Leaving Behind a very Messy Self-Destructive 3D “Reality” and replace it with something more 5Dish.
• 2 Grand Sextiles (blue hexagrams), one for each type of Power, Magnetic or Dynamic. In a Grand Sextile, All Six Energies Complement one another almost Effortlessly. The one caveat is that it doesn’t start until we kickstart the process. Dynamic Power is the one the Colonizers use – can we throw our wooden shoes into it? It’s Chiron-Nemesis Sextile Moira-Altjira Sextile Hybris Sextile Hopi-Makemake Sextile Karma Sextile Saturn-Arachne Sextile Chiron-Nemesis.
• Where to start? We don’t want to be Destructive and Competitive, that would put us in their shoes. Can we do something to Slow them Down? The Opposition has been trying to Guilt-Trip them for Decades to no Avail – their Hubris is too great. Their Karma is Destroying their Golden Goose, but they know it, they don’t give a shit, and they’re trying to get as much as they can shoveled into their yacht before The Light Behind the Sun Takes All. Modern-Day Colonialists. We may just have to let them finish the job of Destroying themselves.
• So, what about the Magnetic Power, can we start something there? Many smart folks have been saying that we needed to Ignore the Old Dying Institutions, and just start our own, so they’ll be ready to step into the Vacuum when the time comes. The Magnetic side goes Ganesha Sextile Ceres-Thereus-Kassandra-Orcus-Sisyphus Sextile Venus-Sun-Mercury-South Node Sextile Atropos-Icarus-Hylonome Sextile Nessus Sextile North Node-Eclipse Moon-Uranus Sextile Ganesha.
• Where might we stir up Trouble in that Loop? Atropos (Deceased Karma) is always a good place to start, because when Karma Dies, the Old Habits remain, because even if we don’t like them, they’re What We Expect, and they’re Comfortable like an old pair of Shoes. So we could check our natal chart for any planets in the middle of Capricorn that might have Old Karma Attached to them.
• For instance, I have asteroid Karma, Nemesis, and Pholus there – fresh meat! Pholus usually points to some place where we aren’t “Owning” everything we need to Own. Gay Hendricks tells us that when we don’t Own All of What’s Ours, we remain a Slave to Time rather than shifting to Yintegrity. So it looks like it’s incriminating Karmic Guilt again (asteroid Karma and Nemesis). We met the before, when we were Working with the Grand Trines.
• Okay, so I don’t really Feel like I have Permission to be Here, or certainly not to Be Myself except in very closely guarded quarters, like this carefully constructed blog where no one can even leave a Comment without my permission. I’ve always Blamed that on early situations between my Parents, but when I attempt to Own that now, of course that’s my Karma.
• Virtually All of the Difficulty we Encounter as Kids is Karmic. The Universe doesn’t just Dump it on us cuz we’re Vulnerable. Except for our Resistance to it, the Universe is actually Benevolent and Generous. So, not wanting to Analyze or Attach more Energy to it, I’ll make a Diorama of a Child whose Real Self is Welcomed into their Birth Family, put it in a Helium Balloon (the Child has a Helium-Breathing Mutation), and Set It Free. That should be enough of a First Action for me to do my part in Energizing the Magnetic Grand Sextile. Wish me Ganesha’s Blessing of Good Luck!
• 1 Grand Unx contains all of the above within it, so it’s pretty Monumental. The overall interpretation is that Everything Works Together. It’s kind of a Do-It-All Configuration. If we’re getting close to a Grand Unx, there’s No Shame in seeking out unknown asteroids to complete it. If the new ‘roid has some Connection to the theme we Work with (Ganesha is certainly totally Relevant to any Ascension theme), all the better. If it seems remote, that’s cool too, because it can point to what sort of Energy we need to Consciously add to the mix in order to complete the recipe and make Everything Work Together. We can also use Degree Readings for that Purpose.

Lets add a Helper Stone to this Endeavor. The Guilt examples have been my own, but the Chiron-Nemesis is there in the Eclipse-Ganesa Station chart, Prominently, for All of Us. If you have any natal planets in the middle third of Aries (I have several, including Nemesis itself), it’ll be ringing your doorbell too.

According to the book I most Trust for interpreting Crystals and Minerals (because my Personal Experience has always Validates it), Collen Marquist and Jack Frasl’s Crystalline Communion 2000, p.58, “Emerald stimulates courage to embody Light as a beacon rather than bleed from the heart endlessly for the trials and needs of others. Emerald empowers the knowledge of when to walk away and when to stay and teach others through example or resonance. Emerald improves all physical heart functions, as well as emotional functions of love and kindness to others. It calms the heart and relieves guilt.”

Sounds like it will be useful for the Hylonome Angles as well. Emerald, especially when paired with Gold, Facilitates Ego Death, so it can be Unsettling to wear the two together for long periods. Too much Ego Death can become a Setback in our Evolution, unless it’s Supported by the “Stars” (ie, when we don’t have other Options!), as it has been lately…

Emerald is a “Beryl,” or Beryllium Aluminum Cyclosilicate, or Ring Silicate. Beryllium carries Serpent or Kundalini Energy, so all of the Beryls are Healing Stones. Beryllium itself is highly Toxic. Among the Transparent Beryls, green ones are named Emerald, bluish ones Aquamarine, clear Goshenite, pink Morganite, yellow and line green Heliodor, and red and golden ones just Red Beryl and Golden Beryl. Opaque Beryls, no less Brave as Healers, are called Common Beryl. I’ll add my favorite Crystal and Rock books the the Bibliography soon.

Fearbruary IV

By now we’re bearing down hard on Fearbruary’s namesake, dwarf planet Sedna, which is about Converting Fear to Power. We’ve been reminding that Fear plus Breathing equals Excitement, Fear plus Tapping equals Grounding and Presence (which is intimidating to would-be antagonists), and Fear plus Kegels equals Power. In addition to a hefty dose of Terror, the Sedna story also contains strong elements of Anger and Competition.

I was into my forties before I realized that Anger was my Habitual Reaction to Fear. Useful when it’s a Fight you can Win, but when Flight or Freeze is Safer, let alone Negotiate, not so much. All Karma is a Powerful Skill, but only when we can Choose to use it when appropriate and not use it when it ain’t. If Karma is a knee-jerk Reaction, it’ll get us in trouble more often than not. We Heal that by getting Conscious about it.

Sedna is at its Strongest (Stationary) as we come up to 1pm PST 8 February, in 28 Taurus. The chart is pretty benign…

The basic Configuration is a “Square Fez with a Chinstrap” – a red-sided trapezoid with a fifth planet at the midpoint of the base. The Chinstrap – dwarf planet Ceres (Sustainability and Sustenance), is where the Power emerges. The two naked Squares (red lines) are where potential Challenges will be spawned – Sedna (Fear) to asteroid Karma (Karma) or Fear about Letting Go of What We Know Best (our Karma), and Pluto (TranceFormation) to dwarf planet Haumea (Rebirth) or Failing to Discern the Difference between Physical Death from Ego Death.

If we could train ourself to instantly Discern an Ego Death from a Threat of Physical Death, and Realize that Resistance is Futile when it comes to Letting Go of the Known (it’s inevitable, and it’ll probably be harder later), our Lives would be so much more Sustainable (the chinstrap), wouldn’t they. So we could Pray for Physical Safety, Pretend we’re Acting in a Play, Enjoy the Drama from the Perspective of the audience, and make the most out of these Opportunities to Practice these two Cosmic Skills (Ego Death and Letting Go of Karma). Letting Go of Karma usually requires an Ego Death anyway, so this is really an Amazing Opportunity.

Note: If you use a Theta Prayer, you can check to see if your prayer will work, modify it and check again, iterating as many times as necessary, till you find just the right Prayer to give you in-the-Gut Confidence in your Safety.

But a Square Fez offers an Alternative to its Challenges, namely its Diagonals (the green lines, which are “Quincunxes,” or 5 Signs long). Notice that each Square is simultaneously in two Tricolors (a triangle made up of a red Square, a green Quincunx, and either a Trine or a Sextile – a long or short blue line). A Tricolor allows one to Liberate the Grace in the blue lines by Embracing the Permanent Curiosity in the green line, which can Resolve the Challenge in the red line.

By Permanent Curiosity we mean Avoiding Trying to Figure It Out – Recognizing that Confusion is one of our most Valuable Emotions and not an invitation to “Left-Brain” Research and Analysis. If we can stay Present with the Confusion Emotion and Learn to Celebrate it, it will lead us to much more Powerful places. Someone once said (Einstein? Maybe) that “We can’t Solve a Problem using the same Thinking that postulated the Problem.” Confusion, if you can Embrace it as the Emotion that it is, will open your Intuition to a kind of Thinking that will Solve the Problem, or more likely, Perspectives that will Reframe the Problem into Opportunities.

A Quincunx is a miniature Mystery School, like a Zen Koan or a piece of a Yin Gate, a Portal to the next step in our Evolution. When you try to contemplate the sound of one hand clapping, for instance, if you take the effort seriously, you’ll be Expanding and Reframing your notions of Sound, of Hands, of Honoring, of Action, and who knows what else, and you might even discover why Beatniks used to “clap” by snapping their fingers.

The Major Tricolors (Square-Quincunx-Trine), like…

Pluto-Square-Haumea-Quincunx-Sedna-Trine-Pluto or TranceFormation Challenging Rebirth which is Curious about Fear and Power and how it might make TranceFormation Effortless,

and Sedna-Square-Karma-Quincunx-Pluto-Trine-Sedna,

…lead to Dumb-Luck Blessings that are typical of Trines. The Minor Tricolors (Square-Quincunx-Sextile), like…

Haumea-Square-Pluto-Quincunx-Karma-Sextile-Haumea or Rebirth making TranceFormation difficult while TranceFormation is in Awe of Inertia, and if we Step into it we can sort of see how Inertia facilitates Rebirth,

and Karma-Square-Sedna-Quincunx-Haumea-Sextile-Karma,

…lead to greater Engagement and probably more Wisdom, as a Sextile doesn’t unlock its Grace till we take the First Step, Participating instead of just Observing. Notice that we’re just following different paths around the lines inside the twelve-sided circle. Each path offers a different Curriculum for us, and if we have the time, we could maximize this Opportunity by following them all. Eventually we’ll end up at Ceres, the chinstrap, and make our Life more Sustainable. We’d just be adding -Sextile-Ceres to the end of each Major Tricolor, and -Quincunx-Ceres to the end of each Minor Tricolor.

So the keys to the Tricolors are Haumea-Quincunx-Sedna, Karma-Quincunx-Pluto, Pluto-Quincunx-Karma, and Sedna-Quincunx-Haumea. And then, if we Chose the more Rewarding but more Effortful Minor Tricolors, we’ll have to add Haumea-Quincunx-Ceres and Karma-Quincunx-Ceres in order to “Cross Go” and Earn our Sustainability Merit Badge (if you haven’t Learned to Fully and Lovingly Embrace All of your Emotions yet, you may not Realize that Earth is just a Very Deep board game). Let’s take an example, say, Haumea-Quincunx-Sedna.

So we have a Koan about the Relationship between Rebirth and Fear/Power. (It might help to remember what Artemisia said about Power in The Findhorn Garden.) Certainly we Fear Rebirth. Our Ego is probably very Attached to our Toys and Colleagues in the Current Incarnation, and loathe to give them up. Those are Intellectualizations, and the Intellect doesn’t have the Power to Evolve us, because it’s basically a Logic machine. Give it some rules and some starting conditions, and it can dummy up a pretty fair simulation. But where is the Evolution in that? We’re just rearranging the deckchairs in our Existing Concept Set.

How might there be Power in Rebirth? How might it Feel to be Conscious of all of our Parallel Lives? Now we’re starting to get into some Koan-like Questions, which may Open us to new Intuitions that Expand our Concept Set. “How might it Feel…” is particularly Open-Ended. If you don’t just find the list of Emotions in the back of your Alexanders book and highlight a few, but Open your Emotional Body to the actual Experience, what might happen? You probably Relive some part of your Past every day. Can you be there in the Cafeteria Line, and also Be Here Now? It might be more inviting to Remember what it was like to Make Love with your All-Time Favorite Lover and also Be Here Now.

Does that feel like fuses blowing in your head? That might be a good sign. One – just One – part of what’s involved with actual Permanent Curiosity (aka Awe or Wonder, but not Wondering about, Wondering at instead), is that we have to Conceive of more Dimensions than we’re used to working with, and different Rules. Since the Universe is Both/And, what is a Contradiction to the Intellect is a Paradox to our Curiosity. Do we even know what a Paradox is, or is it just something unexplainable? It should be something that defies our Concepts of Reality, something that forces us to Choose between what we See and what we Know, or somehow Embrace them both.

A number of the folks in the Antichrist’s Cult may be doing that now, Knowing that just a month ago they were Legends in their Own Minds, but Seeing that now they’re Criminals. Many may Choose to be Martyrs, where both Stories can seem to be True, rather than Expanding their Concept Set to include the possibility that not everyone appreciates White Supremacy, or Expanding their Concept Set to include the possibility that Other People may actually have a right to Exist. But again, these are Intellectualizations. We can’t Predict how any given person will Expand their Consciousness if and when they do, because they’re an Organism much more Complex and Multidimensional than our Observing Mind.

The point is that we may be going through a similar process, where some of what we See and what we Know are splitting apart. If we find ourself trying to figure out how to put Humpty-Dumpty back together again, we may want to Change the Program, and begin to Appreciate Curiosity as the Blessing that it is, as it is, without having to Dissect it. You might also find yourself in a place where you’re being Reborn and your Trances Reformed and your Karma is backing off, you Feel Empowered and Delighted by the process, and it Feels Sustainable. More Power to you!

Abuse Flushbacks IV

As we said in the previous post, “We aren’t done with our Abuse Flushbacks yet, as the 30 November 2020 Full Moon (1:30 am PST, in 9 Gemini) is Challenged (T-Squared) by Abuse and Privilege (dwarf planet Nessus).”

What we didn’t mention is that it’s a Self-Resolving Challenge (a Diamond Star, indicated by the green wedge or Finger of the Goddess that creates the “Bowl of Grace” blue lines below the T-Square’s red triangle)…

Our Allies in the Self-Resolution are What we Choose to Manifest (dwarf planet Makemake) and the Gift of Eliminating Habits that Impede our Vitality (asteroid Atropos Stationary 27 November 12:50 pm PST in 8 Leo, Conjunct dwarf planet Varuna) – these are the two folks on the base of the green wedge.

Eliminating Habits that Impede our Vitality (Atropos-Varuna) is the Focus of a second potential difficulty in the Full Moon chart, as it Challenges (T-Squares) the Dance (Opposition) between Our Soul’s Demand for Self-Sovereignty (Uranus Conjunct Lilith) and Our Ability to Recast Ego Death in a Loving Light (minor planet Zhulong [the Red Dragon of Enlightenment] Conjunct Venus [Heart] and asteroid Nemesis [Ego Death])…

But this Challenge is more complicated than that, as the Dance between Our Soul’s Demand for Self-Sovereignty and Our Ability to Reframe Ego Death in a Loving Light is actually a Mystery School (the central Opposition in a Yin Gate, indicated by the two green Xs surrounding it). A Mystery School aims to Teach us that this Dance is a Paradox, a Relationship that Operates above and beyond the realm of Cause and Effect. That means we have to Learn to rely on a methodology that’s more multidimensional than the 2D Mind, such as our Intuition and Guidance, and our Heart’s Truth. Rote Learning won’t work, as that’s also 2D by nature.

What might Our Soul’s Demand for Self-Sovereignty look like in “Real” Life? You may have a sense that Your Time is not Your Own – you have Obligations that aren’t Unconditionally Loving, or People in your Life who have Expectations that you have to Compromise yourself to Fulfill. You have those Obligations for a reason (for instance, they may provide you with shelter and food!), and for any number of reasons you may not want to Confront your People’s Expectations, or it may just not be Practical to do so (for instance, their Expectations may be Unconscious, and if you brought the subject up they’d just say it was your fault – or one of their Expectations might be that you’ll never Confront them!).

This is the Lilith-Uranus Conjunction, which we’ll actually be dealing with for another several weeks, so this is a good Opportunity to start working with it. Yintegrity is an important part of the Descent of Soul (Uranus in Taurus) and of 5D, and this Opportunity might help us Finesse the Transition, rather than having to make a Sudden Break.

As for Our Ability to Reframe Ego Death in a Loving Light (Zhulong-Venus-Nemesis), we may have Sovereignty issues like the above, or any number of other issues with Others, where we need to make Changes to our Boundaries, but we don’t know how, and our mind frequently Helicopters around the Arguments – “You need to Change that” – “No, I can’t Change it” – “Yes, you need to Change it,” around and around ad infintum. You don’t Believe you can Change it because it seems like it would take a huge Ego Death to do so, and we see Ego Death as something We’d rather Die than do.

What if it wasn’t? What if Ego Death became as routine as commuting to or from Work – after all, every time we do that we Transition from one Identity to another. Or Falling Asleep – now that’s a Big Ego Death, and may have a lot to do with our Insomnia! If you Love your Work and you Love your Home Life, and they’re In Balance, then you’d be swapping Identities twice every Workday, and you’d be Loving every minute of it. Like your Puppy with a tennis ball – Oh Boy Oh Boy, we get to go to Work now! Oh Boy, Oh Boy, we get to go Home now! Wag, Wag. Focus on the Yintegrity of the New Self waiting for you on the other side of your Molt, and you may be Able to easily Reframe Ego Death in a Loving Light.

As this is a Mystery School, you don’t want to try to Decide anything or Pin anything Down. You want to just Ponder, with Curiosity. “I Wonder what would happen if [this or that Miracle occurred].” The Challenge is to Heal whatever these Unresolved Issues might be doing to your Health and Vitality. If we Need to but Can’t, that can have a nasty impact on our Stress Level and the Hormones that are supposed to keep everything in our Body Running Smoothly. It can also easily create Lackawanna, which can have all manner of Negative Consequences.

The Bottom Line is that we Don’t Want to try to Solve these Issues. We Want to Get Clear on What We Want from them, and then Get to Work Imagining it Happening. A Mystery School should get us out of Male Doing Mind and into Female Magnetizing Mind. Once you’re Clear about What You Want and Imagining How You’ll Feel when you’ve Manifested it, you won’t have to Do anything – it’ll take care of itself. Even if you have to Do it, it’ll Feel more like Fun than Work, because the Positive Outcome will be in your Mind.

The Most Important Thing 2

Yay!  Kristin Metcalfe has directed us to https://serennu.com/astrology/ephemeris.php as a place to get lists of asteroids and dwarf planets sorted by Degree, so we can find Heavenly Bodies that we don’t normally use, which will fill out an Almost-Big-Configuration!  Hooray!  Thanks a million, Kristin!  For example, our 7 May 2020 Full Moon 19 Virgo Vacancy in the Potential-Grand-Sextile, is occupied by an asteroid (Asclepius) named after the Greek God of Healing.  Goddess knows we can use that!

Meanwhile, let’s take the most intense Challenge (T-Square) in today’s 10 May (9:09 pm PDT) Priorities astroevent (Station of Saturn in 2 Aquarius – Yay Again!  I discovered how to use this color without having to post-process the whole post), and see what happens if we consider it an Almost-Complete-Configuration.

I’ll start with our traditional interpretation process, where the planet at the focus of the Challenge (in this case asteroid Sappho [Self-Love] at 30 Virgo) is Worried by a False Dichotomy (Opposition or Duality, False because the Universe isn’t Dual; here the Nodal Axis [our Life Path], with a Big Party on the South Node – dwarf planets Ixion, Pholus, and Quaoar [Climate Change and how our Unique Genius will handle it]).  The Challenge is basically then, How are we going to Love Ourselves Unconditionally when we know that our Culture and most of our Species is on a Suicidal trajectory and people just Glaze Over when we point out that the Sky is Falling? 

But of course we have to Take Responsibility for our own Unique Genius, “Save Ourself,” let our Tribe find us, and Let Go of the folks that the Sky will Fall upon.  They have their own Free Will, whether they Recognize it or not.  They who Fart in Church sit in their own Pew.  We can have Empathy and Compassion for them, but do we really want to Follow them to their Self-Genocide.  You can Martyr yourself in front of their bulldozers if you want, but that’ll just Bloody things up.

I know, we Fear that they will Destroy our Planet and leave us without a decent Home, but the Planet we Live on is a Mirror for our own Inner Peace or Lack thereof.  The notion that our Planet is Only Physical, and therefore unable to Manifest Differently to each Observer, is a 3D Trance that we need to be willing to shed.  Life is an Interaction between the Consciousness Constellated around our Identity (ie, “Me”) and the Rest of the Universe (from our Viewpoint, “the Unconscious”).  In Energy terms, it’s a complex Diffraction Pattern (Hologram) Created when these two complex Energy Waves cross one another.

So then, can we find a planet that Opposes the symbol for Self-Love and Completes the Grand Cross, which would then be Balanced?  Yes we can.  It’s the symbol for The Lord of the Wind (Trans-Neptunian Object Manwë, aka 385446, aka 2003QW [Tolkien’s Lord of Wind, Air, and Birds] at 29 Pisces).  Wind is Uranian, the Higher Manifestation of Mentality.

In its Discovery chart (25 August 2003 in Chile), 150km-wide Manwë is Conjoined by a Retrograde Mars [Action Behind the Scenes] and Opposed by asteroid Arachne [Grandmother Spider, who Weaves the Web of Life that we Live in] and Worried (T-Squared) by dwarf planet Chaos [Unlimited Potential] on one side and Ixion-Quaoar [Survival of our Unique Genius] on the other, making a Grand Cross.  Which is to say that the Actions of our Unique Genius (Ixion) will Open Doors that will never again be Closed (Chaos) – if we Allow our Genius out of its Cage.

The Mars-Manwë T-Square in the Manwë Discovery chart is also Self-Resolving (a Diamond Star) that will Resolve the Issues that it Opens.  The Path which the Resolution follows will Lead through (the feet of the Manwë Finger of the Goddess, namely) Rebirth (dwarf planet Haumea) and Trust (asteroid Eurydike).  That is, we need to be Willing to Abandon Ourself (Eurydike) to the Dark Unknown in the Rabbit Hole of Ego Death (Haumea) in order to Coax our Genius out of Their Closet.

So to give this symbol for the Lord of the Wind (Manwë) a one-breath phrase or keyword to use should we encounter it again, we might use Stepping Off into the Unknown, also a reminder that this Lord Lives on a Mountaintop.

So then, How are we going to Love Ourselves Unconditionally when we know that our Culture and most of our Species is on a Suicidal trajectory and people just Glaze Over when we point out that the Sky is Falling?  We’re going to Trust that our Hidden, probably Forbidden, Unique Genius will plot an Effective Course for us, if we Give ourselves Permission to Break the Rules that imprison Her, or Him, or Them.

Thus Emboldened, let’s Risk going a step further.  There’s one planet five Signs away (a Quincunx) from the Focus of the Challenge (the Sappho T-Square).  If there was a second planet also five Signs away in the other direction (making a Finger of the Goddess), we’d have a Self-Resolving Challenge (a Diamond Star)!  Why not make it Easy on ourself?

Well, turns out there is a planet there, an asteroid.  The symbol for the Goddess of the Soul Completes this Major Configuration (asteroid Psyche at 1 Taurus).  We’ve met this lady before, though it’s been a while.

So now, Where will we Look to see How Unconditional Love Heals our Culture and our Species from its Suicidal trajectory so we don’t have to Run Around shouting that the Sky is Falling?  We’re going to Trust that as the Goddess of the Soul (asteroid Psyche) Merges with Our Own Soul as it Descends into Matter (Uranus in Taurus), our Forbidden Unique Genius (Ixion) will Break Free from its Hiding and Find its True Effortless Role in Creating a Safe Place for Us and Others on Earth.

This Merger (Uranus Initiating / Conjunct Psyche) occurs on 26 May at 3pm PDT (in 9 Taurus, “A fully decorated Christmas Tree“) and Begins a New 5-year Cycle where we may Learn to Celebrate Ego Death as a Rainbow of Light Penetrating the Darkness of our Unfulfilled Desires.  Each time we Lovingly Embrace an Ego Death we get closer to EnLightenment.

This is more Indirect than I prefer to go, but it verifies that the process works.  Next time I will probably go directly to Filling a Vacancy in a Self-Resolving Challenge rather than Filling a Grand Cross Vacancy, if there’s already one five-Sign connection.

Over the course of writing these blogs we’ve tried to make a Big Deal out of our Reaction to Confusion, hoping to Learn and Teach us to Embrace Confusion Directly as an Emotion, without trying to Fix it or Change it or Trying to Figure It Out.  When we succeed in Eliminating Confusion we Eliminate personal Growth, and it we have a Goal of EnLightenment or Ascension or any other form of Growth, we Sabotage ourself.

And separately, over the course of writing these blogs we’ve tried to make a Big Deal out of how we deal with Curiosity.  Many or most of us have been trained to Believe that Curiosity should Inspire us toward Knowledge, that Curiosity automatically seeks Understanding, that it’s a Question seeking an Answer.  We’ve tried to Shift that to Curiosity in the Infantile sense of Wonder or Awe.  More “Wow, isn’t that Amazing!” than “I need to Figure Out how that works.”  More “I Wonder at that!” than “I Wonder How That Works.”

Curiosity is the primary keyword assigned to the five-Sign Angle (Quincunx), in both Ego astrology and Growth astrology.  But in Growth astrology we want you to replace the Question Mark that follows Curiosity in Ego astrology, with a period.  With PIAVA, if we don’t Change the Subject after our Prayer, Thinking rapidly removes the Opportunity for Change by reinstating our old Limiting Belief System, fencing out what we’ve PIAVAed.  It’s Thinking that considers Curiosity to be a Question and does the dirtywork of reinstating our old Limiting Belief System and blocking what we could have Learned.

The other Major Angles connect Signs that are Related…

• Three-Sign Angles (Squares) connect planets in the same Quality – Creative (Cardinal), Stabilizing (Fixed), Changing (Mutable).
• Four-Sign Angles (Trines) connect planets in the same Element – Spirit (Fire), Matter (Earth), Emotion (Water), Mind (Air).
• Two-Sign Angles (Sextiles) connect planets in the same Polarity – Dynamic (Masculine) or Magnetic (Feminine).

But Five-Sign Angles (Quincunxes) Connect planets in Different Elements and Different Qualities.  Categories and Judgments are useful, but they are also Arbitrary, and Inhibit us from Recognizing the Unity and Infinite Variety of Reality.  They are products of Thought and its need to reduce everything to Duality.

The Five-Sign Quincunx Angle offers us Opportunities to Look at the World a little Differently, subtly slipping out of our Habit of Naming and Constraining and Limiting everything we Encounter.  When we Ask a Biomancer to Teach us how to Listen to Plants, the first thing they tell us is to Let Go of any Names we’ve associated with the Plant.  Try it – unless you’re having Senior Moments (which have their advantages), that’s not easy to do.  But when we consider Curiosity to be a Question seeking an Answer, we blithely Discard that Opportunity to Learn and Grow in Consciousness.

Is your Life absolutely Perfect the way it is?  Then don’t Change your Habits of dealing with Confusion and Curiosity as Invitations to Research.  Otherwise, PIAVA to Disrupt them, post-haste.

The current Priority astroevent (Saturn Station at 2 Aquarius) happens close to a Sign Cusp.  We usually use three Degrees of Sensitivity (“Orb” in astrologuese).  That means that we may have Major Angles between planets in Different Qualities or Elements.  For instance,

• The Self-Love symbol (Sappho) at the End of the Ego-Death Sign (30 Virgo)

makes a Major Angle (Trine) to

• The Top-Priority symbol (Stationary Saturn) Early in the Group Relationships Sign (2 Aquarius).

There’s less than three Degrees Difference between them, but they Connect Changing Matter (Mutable Earth) to Stabilized Thought (Fixed Air) – Different Qualities and Different Elements.  Another Opportunity to see the World through Different Eyes and Potentially Crack Open our Ossified Perspective on “Reality.”

Since Four-Sign Angles (Trines) are considered Benefic precisely because they Connect Signs in the same Element, there’s even a legitimate Question whether Cuspal Trines are Trines at all.  All six Angles that the Self-Love symbol (Sappho) makes include Cross-Cuspal Angles.

If you don’t plan to spend much Future Time on this Planet, in your current Lifetime or others, then no worries.  If Life-Threatening Challenges are your Cuppa Tea, then no worries.  Otherwise, This is Big.  Compared to This, everything else is as Important as making mudpies.  So we highly recommend that you quit wasting Emotional and Physical Energy and Time fretting about the mudpies, and Commit yourself fully to The Most Important Thing.

Don’t worry about the details, just PIAVA to Lovingly and Gently come to Grok your Perfect Unique Role, in your own Time.  When you do find your Perfect Unique Role, it’ll be Great Fun, and not at all the Difficulty – or Impossibility – that you now imagine it to be.  It’s really true that If you aren’t part of the Solution you’re part of the Problem, so please, No Longer Lend Your Strength to That Which You Wish to Be Free From.

Of course your own The Most Important Thing must Arise from your own Heart, but we do need to warn that we’ll be Obsessing about our own personal The Most Important Thing till at least 9pm PDT on 10 May 2020 (when Saturn [The Most Important Thing] Stands Still in the Sky [Impacts us Strongly] at 2 Aquarius).  Oh, our Values will also be up for review till at least 11:45 pm 12 May (when Venus [Values] Stands Still in the Sky at 21 Gemini).  So lots of Self-Review.  Of course The Most Important Way to Approach The Most Important Thing is to monitor yourself to Avoid dwelling on WhatYouDon’tWant, so you can keep your Focus – which is what Creates your Future – on WhatYouDoWant.

Which, with everything (us included) Changing rapidly, means we can Expect to Experience Confusion fairly often.  Confusion isn’t my Favorite Emotion.  Which is why I’m working hard on Turning That Around, so Confusion becomes my Favorite Emotion.  Well, maybe my second-Favorite, after Ecstasy.  At any rate, Confusion is the first sign of Growth in Consciousness.  So it’s Precious.  Our Concept Set forms the skeleton for our Ego and rationalizes our Limiting Unconscious Beliefs (such as “Nothing I can do about that!“).  Positive Change is Available only when our Concept Set wavers and quivers – which means we Feel Confused.

 

Tweety is our Ego, the Cage is our Concept Set, and Sylvester is everything that’s Eliminated from our Life by our Unconscious Limiting Beliefs.  Notice how Tweety looks kind of Confused by what’s happening.

 

However, Growth in Consciousness only occurs when we don’t try to outsmart our Confusion.  (Tweety relies on her Instinctual Wisdom of Experience, not Mentality).  When we try to Figure Out what’s Confusing us and make it Go Away, we Lose our Opportunity for Growth.  Figuring It Out just regrouts the bricks in the walls of our Concept Set.  This is especially important here while the symbol for our Ego is still Merged with the symbol for our Confidence (Stationary Saturn [Ego] Conjunct dwarf planet Chariklo [Self-Confidence and Self-Doubt], which runs from December 2019 till January 2021).  I mean, what’s more Important to the Ego than Confidence?

We know Intuitively that nothing makes a Huper more Attractive to Other Hupers than Self-Confidence.  It makes Life so much easier when Others find us Attractive and want to curry our favor.  Confidence is far more Compelling than Competence – that’s how the Antichrist Bullied his way into Fame and Glory.  Self-Doubt is one of the biggest impediments to Abundance.  Unfortunately, many of us are Addicted to Self-Doubt.  We get there by failing to Embrace Ego Death.

The Antichrist gives us a Master Teaching at Avoiding Self-Doubt.  He just Reframes History, Effortlessly and Immediately.  We may not want to do it his way, but the Lesson is Valuable because it brings the Issue into the Light of Day.  The Issue is, Do we Create our own Reality or Not?  He’s obviously a Master at Creating a Surreality that fits him to a T.  History books are full of Masters at Creating their own Surrealities.  The Antichrist Demonstrates the process – just Create your own Surreality, and whenever it conflicts with Reality, quickly Adjust it.  His Goal is Adulation.  We could emulate his techniques for other Goals, such as Abundance (Having Enough to Share), a Livable Environment, a Collaborate Culture, Immunity to 5G and Granolaviruses, Ascension, or WhateverWeWant.

Doubt and Confusion are kissing cousins.  When we Fake our way out of Doubt we often get caught.  If we aren’t famous enough, that matters.  When we try to Fake our way out of Confusion by Figuring It Out, we also Create more Trouble for ourself.  Like any other Emotion, in order to Release it we need to Accept and Embrace it Exactly as it Is.  When we do that, we dispel it – we literally break the Spell that it has cast on us.

We get Unstuck by training ourself to Notice when we’re Feeling Confused, and then Consciously Celebrate it.  Getting Beyond our Limiting Unconscious Beliefs is necessary if we are pursuing Abundance, Ascension, Enlightenment, or virtually any other major Change in our Karma.  (Our Limiting Unconscious Beliefs, by the way, are symbolized by asteroid Vesta, and Vesta Conjoins Stationary Venus as we speak.  We talked about that a little in Values and Beliefs Full Moon.)  We should write about the Venus-Vesta Cycle, because…

The Dance between our Values, Beliefs, Desires, Emotions, and Thoughts – including what and how we Think about our Emotions – are very Important to our progress toward WhatWeWant.  Most of us are very Confused, without Realizing it, about the Difference between Our Emotions and Our Thoughts About Our Emotions.  Emotions happen in our Body.  The minute we move into our Head and begin Thinking About our Emotions, we’ve totally Abandoned both our Emotions and our Selves.  Yet we need to Align our Passion and our Thoughts in order to Manifest Cleanly.

Does any place in your Body hurt or Feel Uncomfortable right now?  Are you Able to Lovingly and Gently put your Total Attention into that place, and watch how it Changes?  How long can you do that without Thinking About how it Feels?  It’s fine to Think About how long we’re Holding our Attention there, as long as we’re Experiencing how it Feels, and not Labeling or Comparing (as Marshall Rosenberg liked to say, “Feels Like” expresses a Thought, not an Emotion) it, or Leaving the Present Moment.

Holding your Total and Unconditionally Loving and Gentle Attention on any Discomfort in your Body is one of the most Healing things you can do for it.  When you Notice that your Attention has Wandered, just quietly Bring It Back, without Judgment.  Notice if your Body has Created any Hardening around the Discomfort, as we often do in an effort to Separate Pain from our Identity.  If there is, Consciously Soften it.  That’ll Open the blood flow around the space, and accelerate the Body’s natural Healing.  That’s what Bodies do for a Living, if we let them.

Try doing the same with a Difficult Emotion.  Locate it in your Body, and give it Total Unconditionally Loving and Gentle Attention.  If you can do that without Labeling or Comparing it, or Leaving the Present Moment, you’ll find that the Discomfort dissolves the way it does when you Poor-Sweetheart yourself.  It’s quite Miraculous if you aren’t used to doing it.  When we Leave the Present Moment – “OMG, this reminds me of…” or “What will happen if…” – we’re Thinking About the Emotion, not Feeling it, Experiencing it, or Giving it our Attention.  We’re Abandoning the Emotion and our Self.

Not that it isn’t useful to Anal-yze how any Discomfort fits into your TimeLines.  For instance, Realizing that an Unpleasant Feeling is another Mirror for a Childhood Trauma, can in a few seconds help to Heal both the Discomfort and the PTSD.  And Realizing that some Discomfort that’s Arising is a clue about why we aren’t instantly Manifesting something we just PIAVAed, can in a few seconds help to melt our Resistance to that Manifestation.

Remember that if we aren’t ready to Manifest something that we’ve PIAVAed, the first thing the Universe will do is give us an Illustration of why we aren’t ready.

But we need to Learn to instantly Recognize the Difference between our Emotions and our Thoughts About them.  A Healthy Emotion Arises and then Dissipates, Informing us about something Important in the process.  If there’s no Dissipation, it’s because we’ve shifted from Feeling it to Thinking About it.  That can Freeze Emotions for years, Creating and Deepening Karma in the process.  When we get stuck on an Emotion it’s almost always already Karmic, and every time we Think About it instead of Feeling it, we cement the Karma in place more firmly.

Karmic Emotions are Held Emotions, the ones We’d rather Die than Feel.  So it’s a natural, Healthy Reaction to find any way we can to Avoid that, including shifting transparently from Feeling to Thinking.  If you’ve been reading this blog long, you know that “We’d rather Die than Feel that” is a misrepresentation.  It’s what we Experience, but it’s an Illusion.  It’s really “We’d rather Die than Feel that” – yes, We, our Ego, our current Identity, has to Die in order for us to Feel that.  That’s how Karma works.  The Ego’s job is to keep us Alive and Well, so this works well.

Except when we Want to Change or Manifest something that’s not already in our Karma, and then we need to Tolerate or even Court Ego Death in order to get beyond our Limiting Unconscious Beliefs.  In fact, Ego Death becomes The Most Important Thing.  It doesn’t even matter if the Planet has been Destroyed, because we in fact Create our own Reality, as a Mirror for our Internal Self-Love processes, so we’ll just Re-Create it in our Image.

We’ll talk more about these things, and how Confusion and Curiosity (the Quincunx and Finger of the Goddess) relate to one another, when we look at tomorrow’s Saturn Station chart in detail.

Whom Do We Serve?

There’s what we Feel we Should or Must Do, and then there’s what we Want to Do.  Which to Choose?  That may be hard this week.

Hylonome (Self-Sovereignty) joins Saturn (The Most Important Thing) and the South Node (Karma, the Emotions you’d rather Die than Feel), Quincunx to asteroid Klotho in the 26 October 2019 (4am PDT) Klotho-Station chart.

It could well be more Complicated than that – we may also Want to Do some of our Shoulds or Musts.  Many or even most of our Shoulds and Musts are about Loyalty to a Vow we once made, and Loyalty usually Feels Good, especially to a Sacred Vow.

Stationary Klotho T-Squares (Challenges) the Opposition between dwarf planet Orcus (Vow-Making and -Breaking) and Neptune (which includes a Sense of the Sacred).  And of course the South Node always Opposes the North Node (our Mission), and Loyalty to our Mission Creates a very Deep Good Feeling.  But as an Opposition, it may feel like we have to make a Choice between Loyalty to our Mission and Loyalty to our Sacred Vow.

To make it even more Complicated, we may Feel a Strong Need to Act, to Do Something, either to Support our Loyalty to our Self, or to Support our Loyalty to our Vows.

Hylonome on Saturn-South Node will trigger Karma about Self-Betrayal.  Fortunately it’s Trine to Orcus, meaning there is Grace available if we Choose to Break Free of Self-Betrayal.  But the Nodal Axis (including Saturn-Hylonome on the rear end) is T-Squared (Challenged) by Mars (Action).

Fortunately, the chart tells us that it’s not really about Action, it’s about Awareness.

Frankly, the knee-jerk Karmic Reaction to Support our Vows is probably Stronger than the Subtle though Deep Desire to move toward our Mission and hence Support our Deep Self.  But the real Teaching here is about neither.  This is Karma, which means that it’s not really Present-Moment, it’s a shadow on the wall of the cave.  So we will almost certainly be Overreacting if we Act overtly to Support our Vows.

There is a Mystery School here, a Teaching about Paradox and Non-Action.  We’ll get the most Value from Observing the Stresses we’re Feeling, and their apparent Sources.  Of course we’ll get the most Value from Trusting our Mission more than our Vows – if they’re Karmic we know that they’re Obsolete anyway.  However, there’s a Real-Life Present-Moment Drama that’s Mirroring our Karmic Vows, and we Want to be Present and Lovingly Responsive for that Drama.

So we need Both/And, not Either/Or, and we need Awareness rather than Habitual Action.  The Action we most need to take is probably to Talk about what we’re Observing.  And most of all, we need to Avoid making Decisions and Trust that Grace will successfully finesse the knife-edge we feel like we’re walking on.  By remaining a Neutral Observer and Communicating about what we Observe, we can Allow the Universe to make Changes that are far more Subtle and far more Comprehensive than any Action of ours would have accomplished.

First, the chart is Sublimely Symmetric, meaning that the Energy this week is very Balanced, and as such it makes us very Aware of any Imbalance we’re Feeling.  We don’t want to Act to try to Restore our comfortable state of Imbalance, we want to Allow the Energy to Balance us, and Observe what that feels like.

Second, the Completely Symmetric Configuration is a Flying Squirrel, at the Heart of which is a Yin Gate (a Teaching about how the Real World is Paradoxical; it’s the Unreal mind that demands Logical Clarity).  The Central Axis of the Yin Gate is the Opposition between Lachesis (Change) and Eurydike (Trust).  Which is to say…

It’s about Trusting that the Dualistic mind – and the Ego Attached to it – does not have enough Breadth of Perspective to make better Changes than the Universe when the Universe’s Energy is In Balance.

The Flying Squirrel’s nose is Lachesis, tail is Eurydike, hands are Klotho and Mars, feet are Neptune and South Node et al, and ears are North Node and Orcus.  Notice the Perfect Symmetry.  It looks Complicated, but it’s “just” a Yin Gate with T-Squares (red triangles) to the diagonals (red X) of the Golden Rectangle (blue box).

While Goddess Klotho cut the Cloth for your next TimeLine, Goddess Lachesis, who’s in charge here, Measured its Length.  The difference between Fate (Karma) and Choice (Liberation) is Conscious Awareness.  In many circumstances we interpret asteroid Lachesis as an Opportunity to Choose to Let Go of Karma “prematurely” – before our Fate would Let it Go.  But in the context of a Yin Gate, where the Objective is to move into Beginner’s Mind, especially where Lachesis is at the Head, we interpret it as the Opportunity to Watch how the Universe Restores Balance if we don’t Interfere, with the potential Goal of Recognizing when we are Out of Balance, and Learning how to Allow ourself to come Back Into Balance rather than trying to make the World match us by going Out of Balance.

The Yin Gate is the double Fingers of God (green wedges) pointing to Lachesis and Eurydike, creating the Dos Equis inside the Golden Rectangle (blue box) bounded by Orcus, North Node, Neptune, and South Node et al.  Any Golden Rectangle is interpreted through the diagonal Oppositions (red X), and the T-Squares amplify this interpretation (Action and New Beginnings).  While this is still relevant, in a Yin Gate the emphasis is on the Fingers of God – ie, the Central Axis, Lachesis Opposite Eurydike.

While Lachesis (Change) Heads the major Configuration, the Stationary Klotho is the raison d’être for the chart.  So New Beginnings are the type of Change that we’re talking about.  That reinforces the Mystery School or Beginner’s Mind element of the Yin Gate, making it all the more Important that we Avoid Preconceptions and Nullify Conclusions.  The mind knows only Duality, and this is about Multidimensional Unity.

The Squirrel’s hands and feet also make a Square Fez, and a Fez runs on its Quincunx (green) diagonals (Mars-Neptune and Klotho-South Node et al).  Between the Dos Equis and these green diagonals, the Quincunxes rule the Configuration, and Quincunxes are about Curiosity.  Not the kind that covets an Answer, but the kind that’s Awed by the Unexplained Glory of it all.  That is…

Strongly Resist any Temptation you have to Figure It Out or to Believe you Understand what’s going on.  There are Things To Learn here, so we have to Pay Attention, and not jump to Conclusions or lean on Preconceptions.  We can Summarize what we Observed in November.  In the interim, just note what we’re Observing as we go.  Let’s see, white head, black wings and body, white tail, big bird – Bald Eagle!  Be Conscious of jumping to Conclusions like that.  Yes, it looks like a Bald Eagle, but what if it’s not?  What if you’ve never seen this Critter before?  Keep bringing yourself back to Curiosity!  Naming the World stops Growth in its tracks.

Nothing is Out of Balance here except our own Karma that is being Let Go Of, if we Allow it to be and don’t try to take charge.  Watch and Listen.  Report what you See and Hear, but be careful to Avoid making up Stories to fit the clues.  If we rely on what we Know already, we’ll miss this Fabulous Opportunity to Learn more about How the Universe Works and to Liberate ourself from our Limitations.  Everything we Learned in school was Wrong.

Truthiness 2

The overall Configuration in the Veritas->Scorpio chart we included in the previous post is a lovely and very Symmetrical Square Fez with Chinstrap.  I know, Fezzes are made of felt, so a chinstrap would be a challenge, but what can I say, it’s in the chart.  The general rule for interpreting a Fez is to interpret the diagonal long green lines (Quincunxes).  With the chinstrap though we have three green wedges (Fingers of God), which stand out.  The three green wedgies point to…

• The symbol for Converting Fear to Power (Sedna)
• The compound symbol for Innovation in our Responsiveness to our Survival Instincts (Ixion-Pholus-Quaoar)
• A symbol for Truth (Veritas)

But we do need to remember that the long green lines symbolize Permanent Curiosity.  NOT the kind of Curiosity that begs for Answers, but the kind that remains in Awe and Wonder.  In other words, the long green lines Demand that we get the Hell out of Duality, out of the mind, and into the Heart.  Love Dies when Judgment replaces Curiosity.  Since All There Is Is Love, we Lose our Animation and become Virtual when we leave Curiosity – small Wonder that Automation is stealing our lunch, as Mechanical (Dualistic) as Western Culture has become.  The Fez diagonals can be interpreted as…

• I Wonder what happens to our Vitality (Venus-Sun-Varuna) when we can’t afford to live…like anywhere? (Quaoar-Pholus-Ixion)
• I Wonder how it is that Bad Habits and Chronic Pain (Karma-Chiron) are able to represent Truth (Veritas)

Though of course Bad Habits and Chronic Pain are only the Unconscious sides of asteroid Karma and dwarf planet Chiron.  The Conscious equivalents are “Oh, I can Choose Otherwise, can’t I!” and Self-empathy (“You Poor Sweetheart…) – Miracles, basically.

Veritas is the Roman translation of Truth.  The Greek version is Aletheia.  Asteroid Aletheia enters Scorpio 16 August.  Scorpio means Fearlessness – Scorpio is Compelled to Get to the Bottom of Things.  So we can expect Veritas and Aletheia traveling through Scorpio – which they do till November – to have a rather large impact on the current epidemic of Untruthiness.

I don’t know about you, but in the histories I was fed in school, the Romans were all about War and Organization and Political Intrigue, while the Greeks were all about Art and Sport and Philosophical Musing.  If we extrapolate that to Veritas and Aletheia, we can suppose that Veritas is more about the sort of Truth we Recognize in the Head and Aletheia the kind we Recognize in the Heart.  Of course “Head” is a Metaphor; Thought really resides in the Third Chakra, not the Sixth.

It’s important to Realize that there are no Facts, there are only Points of View.  So Head Truth is ultimately Unreliable.  It’s Fox-News Truth.  While Heart Truth is more Reliable, it’s Absolute only to the Individual – every Heart is Different.  And even for an Individual it isn’t Absolute in Time; our Values can Change as we Learn more Perspectives.  Truth is Situational.

What Truth provides for us is Situational Certainty, which Allows us to Act, and Set Situationally Appropriate Boundaries.  But Truth and Certainty are Either/Ors – and we know that Either/Ors are Political.  “Political” means they belong to the Ego, not the Soul.  Truth Feels Good, but it’s not the Bottom Line.  Nevertheless, we can expect the current Untruthiness to be severely Challenged over the next three months.

The symbol for Awareness (Mercury) turns forward-facing again on 31 July.  That’ll Enliven Head-Truth (Veritas) for a fortnight before Heart-Truth (Aletheia) joins the party.  Expect a lot of Argument and Debate.  Once Heart-Truth joins in, it will be more like, in the best case, Agreeing to Disagree, and in the worst case, Disconnection and Rancor.  August is a busy month.

Ancestors Full Moon 2 (Boundaries VI)

The second Self-Resolving Challenge (Diamond Star) in the 19 February Full Moon is Focused on the Life Force (Varuna)…

The Stress that needs to be Resolved (the Opposition in the base of the T-Square or red triangle) is between Whether our Actions Serve our Soul’s Purpose (Mars-Uranus) in the Lifetime, and Whether our Boundaries are True to our Soul’s Purpose (Aletheia-Pallas, both of which are Stationary or Strong).  The Suggestion is that any Limitations in our Vitality will be clues about how our Actions and Boundaries aren’t Serving our Soul’s Purpose.

The Grace which Supports our Efforts and makes the Challenge Self-Resolving, is split between…

♥ The big uptick in participation by the Ancestors (Sun-Klotho-OR10), which we discussed in the previous post, and…

♥ Trusting our Unique and possibly or formerly Forbidden Genius to help us be Fully Responsive to our Survival Instincts (Eurydike-Ixion-Pholus-Quaoar), which we also talked about earlier.

♥ The next Big Configuration in the Full Moon chart is Profound Blessings (a Grand Trine and Almost-Grand-Sextile)…

The Big Dumb-Luck Blessing (Grand Trine) is on the Cusp between Fire and Earth, mirroring the imminent (6 March) movement of Soul (Uranus) into Matter (Taurus).  The Players are an Ego Challenge as our Inner Female steps forward – for any gender (the Moon on the cusp of Virgo), the Genius-Trust-Survival Dance we’ve spoken of (Eurydike-Ixion-Pholus-Quaoar on the Sagittarius-Capricorn Cusp), and the Question about whether our Actions Serve our Soul’s Purpose (Mars in Taurus Conjunct Uranus in Aries).

The two elements in the Almost-Grand-Sextile are the Ancestors (Sun-Klotho-OR10 in early Pisces), and the Changes in our Boundaries (Pallas-Aletheia in late Libra), both of which we’ve discussed.  A Grand Sextile means that all of the elements in it are Operating Cooperatively with one another – sort of the way everything will be in 5D.  So if we can Activate the Almost-Grand-Sextile, we’ll find our Boundaries, the Ancestors, our Survival, our Genius, our Instincts (Moon), and our Actions all in Alignment.

So how do we Activate an Almost-Grand-Trine?  We look at the Energy embedded in the sixth corner, the one that would Complete the Grand Sextile, called the Vacancy, and we Project that Energy Consciously.  Intention is probably Sufficient.  The Vacancy is 2 Cancer, “A man on a magic carpet hovers over a large area of land: The ability to expand one’s consciousness by stabilizing one’s point of view at a higher level.”  Wow, just what the original Self-Resolving Challenge, that we described in the previous post, Creates!  When astrology Repeat itself, we know we’re on the right track.  Remarkable.

♥ The picture above also shows one other feature of the Full Moon – the Finger of God (grey-green wedge) pointing at Chiron (Despair and Miracles), so recently having moved into Aries (1pm PST 18 February).  Despair is one of the defining characteristics of Pisces, as Pisces’s job description is to Embrace All Excess Emotional Baggage, Karmic and otherwise.  So the last eight years, while Chiron has been in Pisces, have been Intense Emotionally for all of us.

By now we’ve hopefully all Learned how to Poor-Sweetheart ourself into Miracles.  By saying to ourself “You Poor Sweetheart, you’re Feeling Bummed, aren’t you,” and then Changing the Subject (Putting our Attention elsewhere), we can instantly Shift our Identity from Bummed to Compassion.  We may have to rinse and repeat, or use Tapping or other PIAVAs, if we Obsess and have difficulty Changing the Subject.  (Leave a comment if these concepts are new to you.)

With Chiron in Aries, we of course could Encounter Spiritual Crises instead of Emotional Crises, and considering the State of the Planet, that may well happen.  And actually, we’re already hearing about just that on the Fake News every evening, aren’t we.  But a Spiritual Crisis is basically an Ego Death, and we’re well practiced at Embracing those, Right?  And now that we’re Adept at Embracing Emotional Crises after studying them for eight years, we won’t have to deal with those complications, Eh?

The Roots of the Chiron Finger of God are our Instincts about Ego Death (the Moon on the Cusp of Virgo), and our True Boundaries (Stationary Pallas and Aletheia).

♥ The next Global Configuration in the Full Moon chart is a hidden Chin-Strap Square Fez, so called because the sides of the Moroccan-hat-shaped trapezium are Squares (red lines), and the blue triangle below the bottom looks like a chin strap…

It also forms a Parasol over the Juno Diamond Star, adding extra Grace to our Consciousness Expansion.  The Challenges (Squares) are real…

• Genius-Trust-Survival (Ixion-Eurydike-Pholus-Quaoar) Challenging our Ability to Transform Despair into Miracles (Chiron).  Basically, this is about using the Tools we’ve Learned to Avoid being a Victim, for which there are many Opportunities.  We could be Victimized by Threats to our Survival.  All our Life we’ve been Victimized by the Programmers who drove our Forbidden Genius underground.  If we misinterpret Respond-Ability as Blame, we’re Victim there as well.  And Lack of Trust is a perennial source of Victimhood.

But – we know how to convert Despair to Miracles, Right?  Only our Ego can be Victim, not our Soul, and we’re in the process of moving our Ego closer and closer to Soul, Right?  So every trace of Victimhood is a Sign that we need to Surrender to an Ego Death and move into Respond-Ability.  We can do that as simply as saying to ourself, “You Poor Sweetheart, you’ve Feeling Vicimized here, aren’t you” and then Changing the Subject.

• Our False Boundaries (Stationary Pallas and Aletheia) Challenging our Life Force (Varuna).  This can easily feel like Victimhood again – if our Boundaries aren’t working, we can feel like someone else is Manipulating or Hurting us.  If we don’t Recognize the connection, we can Experience that as a Diminution of our Vitality.  Again, we can Watch for Diminished Vitality, and when we Notice it, Look For places where our Boundaries are too weak or too strong.

But the key to any Fez is the Tricolors (red-green-blue triangles) created by the grey-green diagonals.  A Tricolor is a combination of Challenge (red), Curiosity (grey-green), and Grace (blue lines).  The prescription is to unlock the Grace by remaining in Curiosity about the Challenge, rather than trying to Figure It Out.  We can’t Figure It Out without Limiting ourself to our current concept-set, so by Avoiding that and staying with Curiosity instead, we invite Growth in Consciousness instead.

This is not the kind of Curiosity that inspires Study and Research – that’s the Figure-It-Out kind.  This is more akin to Awe and Wonder, Accepting What Is at Face Value, and Marveling at it.  Like we did very often as a kid, before we were perverted by the Over-Intellectualization of Colonial Society.

By Knowing Cause we can sometimes Manipulate circumstances to our Advantage.  To the Colonial or Capitalist mind, Win-Lose is Success.  We could use Cause for Win-Win, but first we have to Evert our notion of Success.

By Believing we Know Cause, whether we do or not, and by Enjoying the fruits of Manipulating circumstances to our Advantage, we Seduce ourselves into Believing we’re Superior to those we’re Colonizing.  That somehow makes Colonialism okay – we Rationalize that we’re somehow Helping them while we’re robbing them blind.

The problem is that we never do actually Know Cause.  We may Know some Superficial Connections, but like Vale’s recent murderous dam failures in Brazil, Colonialism always ends up Defiling the Planet and the People for the Profit of the few, and the few usually live far away from the Carnage.

So to achieve non-Figuring-It-Out Curiosity-Awe-Wonder requires a Big Ego Death relative to our Lifelong training as children of Colonialists.  Like Racism and Sexism, it takes a big jolt just to Realize that we are Racist and Sexist and Colonialist, and that we don’t know how not to be.

Moving our Perspective from Appreciation – or literally Worship – of Figuring It Out (and of Wealth and Superiority) to Appreciation of Awe and Wonder (and Sustainability and Equality), takes a Searching and Fearless Inventory of everything in our Lives, but if we want to Trust our Unique Genius and Respond Fully to our Survival Instincts, it has to be done.

We can interpret the diagonals of the Fez and their Tricolors as PIAVAs.  Using just the Major Tricolors (those with the long blue lines or Trines), we have…

• “I Wonder if I can Poor-Sweetheart myself into Allowing Miracles to Adjust my Boundaries so that my Vitality is Improved” (Varuna Square Pallas-Aletheia Quincunx Chiron Trine Varuna – the “Quincunx” or five Signs is the grey-green Curiosity line)

PIAVA is short for Prayer-Intention-Asking-Visualizing-Affirming.  There are other, “silent” letters as well, such as Wondering, Commanding, and Expanding.  These are all Triggers for our Intuition that can Magnetize what we Want to Receive and draw it toward us – the Feminine process of Creating.  It’s an alternative to the Dynamic or Masculine process of Plan-Execute and its corollaries.  Whenever you’re dealing with What You Don’t Know, aka the Unconscious, the Magnetic process is the only one that works – and it works Wonders.

• “Ganeshi, Please Remove All Obstacles to my Avoiding Victimhood about my Genius and my Survival, while Supporting my Vitality.”

Then we Change the Subject.  By Surrendering Control over the Relationships between (1) Victimhood (Chiron) and (2) Genius-Survival (Ixion-Quaoar) and (3) Vitality (Varuna), and Delegating them to the Remover of Obstacles Ganesh, we’ve Invited our Intuition to Resolve any Conflicts that may arise between them.

♥ That leaves only what’s usually ignored in astrology – the four “Unxes” in the Full Moon chart.  Unx means one twelfth, and it names the Angle between two planets that are one Sign apart…

These are the short green lines.  This is the Twelfth Harmonic, which is about Pattern-Breaking.  So any Self-Sabotaging Habits you have between the Energies on each end of an Unx, this is a great time to replace these Habits with Self-Supporting Patterns.  The Unxes here are…

• Do you Sabotage your Vitality, by eating Sugar or other empty calories like White Bread, for instance, or failing to eat enough Green Vegetables or Drink enough Water?  You have Instincts that tell you not to do this – do you Ignore them or not even Recognize them?  Now would be a good time to PIAVA that you Attune yourself to them.  (Moon Unx Varuna)

• Many of us have Habitual Actions that don’t Serve our Soul.  It’s an excellent time to PIAVA that we become Conscious of them so we can Change them.  (Juno Unx Mars-Uranus)

• And most of us probably feel like Victims of these non-Soul-Serving Actions, as if someone else made us do them (and indeed, we may have been Programmed to do them by someone else).  “You Poor Sweetheart, you Feel Victimized by those Actions, don’t you.”  (Chiron Unx Mars-Uranus)

• I’m Worried that these Ancestors are coming to Kick Ass because we’re Screwing Up!  “You Poor Sweetheart, you Feel Scared by this Possibility, don’t you.”  (Chiron Unx Sun-Klotho-OR10)

Consciousness Expansion II

The 23 December (7pm PST) Juno Station (21 Taurus) chart looks like this…

Its main feature is a Grand Cross (the red square), which occurs when four planets are more or less evenly spaced around the Zodiac.  While a Grand Cross is made up of four T-Squares (the four overlapping big red triangles), and a T-Square Challenges us to become Adept at something, a Grand Cross is usually a little easier because, being Balanced, the Lessons usually aren’t as Difficult.  Also, the Challenges are frequent and interrelated, so with additional and more varied practice, we’re likely to become Adept sooner – and particularly Adept at Multi-Tasking.

The four T-Squares here focus on…

• Eris (Emerging from Denial)
• Moon-Moira (Learning to Choose our Emotions)
• Aletheia-Pallas (Accepting the Truth about how well our Boundaries serve us)
• Pluto-Chariklo (Having to Confront our lack of Self-Confidence)

I’m sure every one of you could write a short play about someone Getting Their Consciousness Expanded (that’s Juno after all) by having to deal with the likes of…

Realizing (Eris) that their Life is being Sabotaged by lack of Self-Confidence (Pluto-Chariklo), Learning to Recognize the Emotions that Trigger their Self-Doubt (Moon-Moira), and Setting Boundaries to Prevent these Emotions from Fragmenting their Personality (Aletheia-Pallas)

…or something like that.  I’m sure most of us could write a short story about when we’ve gone through this process ourselves, which we’ve probably done many times.  Like when the school bully called us names that hurt, and our Mentors encouraged us to find alternatives to running home in tears or taking a swing and getting our ass kicked.

Sticks and stones and all that, pretty fundamental stuff, but I’m sure you can think of far more subtle parallels.  It would Behoove us to think up current situations where Certain Emotions Challenge our Ability to Keep our Act Together, as every astrological adventure is an Opportunity to make Life flow more smoothly, and this one is no exception.  If we could become Conscious of those Emotions and Learn new Responses to them, chances are we wouldn’t just be Expanding our Consciousness, but also Letting Go of our Karma.

For instance, what Triggers Anxiety for us?  Nothing is Manifested into Hardcopy Reality without first being Broadcast as Energy – this is the Power of PIAVAing.  What Anxiety does is Broadcast Fear and Failure.  Without our Conscious Intervention, Fear and Failure could then be Manifest into Form.  We could recast our reading as…

Realizing (Eris) that our Life is being Sabotaged by Anxiety (Pluto-Chariklo), Learning to Recognize the Emotions that Facilitate it (Moon-Moira), and Resolving to Prevent it from Creating our Reality (Aletheia-Pallas)

…by for example, by first Tapping on it (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QzVd6Ww0as4) to Acknowledge it Honestly, and then Focusing on What We Want instead of What We Don’t Want.

Suppose we don’t Trust our Instincts (Moon-Moira) to tell us what to Eat, so we set Boundaries against the Truth (Alethiea-Pallas) of our own Instincts (Moon) in order to continue to base our Self-Confidence on our Shoulds (Pluto-Chariklo) – till we Realize (Eris) that it’s not Working

So what would we do next?  We Respond to our Realization and Expand our Consciousness to include new Possibilities.  For instance, if we Lovingly Embrace our Desires when they arise, might we have less Difficulty Moderating them, and perhaps in the process Discover what our Soul Intended to Teach our Ego in the Current Lifetime?

A Trine Bridge (blue lines) shows an Easy Path toward becoming Adept and a Quincunx Bridge (green lines) outlines a Path of Curiosity.  Both are alternatives to following the more-Challenging paths of the Squares (red lines), without abdicating the invaluable Lessons to be Learned from the Challenges.  Same Destination, very Different Routes.

The position of Stationary Juno itself makes a Trine Bridge across the Confidence/Emotion-Choice axis (Pluto/Chariklo-Moon/Moira), and a Quincunx Bridge across the Realizations/Boundaries axis (Eris-(Aletheia/Pallas).  We can Learn faster…

• By just PIAVAing (see https://astrobuss.wordpress.com/category/manifestation/piava-review/) that our Consciousness Expand to Resolve our Crippling Self-Doubt or Anxiety (the Trine Bridge)
• Or by Wondering How or Why Self-Doubt or Anxiety so bombs our Personality (the Quincunx Bridge – see https://astrobuss.wordpress.com/category/manifestation/wonder/)
• Or Both.

However, most of us are used to thinking of Curiosity as something to Resolve.  “I Wonder What…” or “I Wonder How…” is often an invitation or imperative to do research or to think about what sort of Answer we’d get if it was a Question.  True Curiosity does not seek Satisfaction; it is more than content to remain Curiosity.  Think of it like Awe or Amazement.  Like watching a Bird peck its way out of an Egg, or a Butterfly crawling out of a Chrysalis – literally a Miracle.

You’re wide-eyed and your mouth hangs open, but you don’t try to explain what’s happening or why, or to Generalize it into a Judgment, whether Good or Bad.  What if we Responded with wide eyes and a slack jaw the next time we heard someone insult us.  If they continued to insult us – if we were Safe, of course – we might even have to Laugh.  A friend used to say, “Don’t get Even, get Odd.”

Stationary Juno is also Merged with (Conjunct) asteroid Lachesis, which symbolizes Consciously Changing our Timelines.  For instance, if we were Living a Timeline of being Bullied, and we succeeded in Changing our Response to it, we would be Consciously Ending that Timeline, or at least Beginning to Consciously End it.

There’s another Configuration in the Juno-Station chart, another Mjölnir Kite like we had at the 22 December Full Moon (https://astrobuss.wordpress.com/2018/12/20/dumpster-fires/)…

When a planet sits at the Far Midpoint between two other planets that are three Signs apart, a Mjōlnir is formed.  Mjōlnir is Norwegian for “Thor’s Hammer,” the usual name for this Configuration.  We changed it because Thor’s Hammer is often confused with Ultimate Destruction, when actually it’s more about Indestructibility and Instantaneous Precision – not a sledgehammer but Lightning, or Sudden Illumination.  So we associate a Mjōlnir with Epiphanies.  When there’s also a fourth planet at the Near Midpoint, the Mjōlnir becomes a Mjōlnir Kite.

The Mjōlnir Kite reinforces our earlier interpretations of the Juno Station – Epiphanies about our Mission and our Held Emotions (North and South Nodes).  We would normally rather Die than Feel our Held Emotions, as our Experiences in Parallel Lives cause us to strongly associate them with Dying.  But we can’t proceed toward our Mission in the current Lifetime without first Learning to Embrace our Held Emotions.  So the Aletheia-Pallas Conjunction in the Juno-Station Grand Cross is also about Relaxing the Boundaries which keep our Held Emotions at bay.

The Square (red line) in the Mjōlnir is between Neptune (Confusion) and Mercury-Jupiter (Precociousness).  The Juno Station is about Growth in Consciousness, and this Square Illuminates the classic impediment to Growth – regarding Confusion as a sign that we need to struggle mightily to Understand!  Actually, when we Believe we’ve Understood why we’re Confused, we’ve just Quashed our Growth!

Our Concepts about What Is and What Isn’t Possible form a Cage that we’re trapped inside of.  Confusion arises when one of our Limiting Beliefs becomes Open for Questioning.  But if we Intellectualize it (Jupiter-Mercury), we’ll invariably Reinforce our Limiting Concepts, because those are the raw material for our thoughts.  Like Curiosity, we need to Let Confusion Be.  If we regard Confusion as an Emotion, and just Feel it, Embrace it, Enjoy it, our Consciousness will Grow on its own, naturally, without Effort.

♥ Now let’s add the Unxes and Quincunxes.  An “unx” is one twelfth of something, and an astrological Unx is the Angle between two planets that are one Sign apart, or one twelfth of the way ’round the Astroloop from one another.  When two planets are five Signs apart the Angle between them is a “Quincunx,” separated from each other by five twelfths of the Circle.  The Twelfth Harmonic is about Pattern-Breaking, which is how we interpret an Unx.  The Fifth Harmonic is about Learning and Teaching, and the only way we can Learn how to Break a Pattern is with Curiosity. 

Without Curiosity, we’re stuck inside of our Birdcage of Mental-Emotional Constructs, aka Limiting Beliefs, that form the backbone of our Ego Structure.  As far as our Ego is concerned, the Edges of the Known World are defined by the Constructs in our Birdcage.  Beyond that, literally, There Be Dragons.  Beyond our Birdcage lies the Unconscious.

As John wrote, the “Greatest of these [Constructs] is Love,” but Curiosity is a close second, because like Love, it Excludes Judgment.  As long as it remains Curiosity, that is.  In modern overintellectualized Culture, Curiosity is often Experienced as a Challenge to “Figure It Out,” because anything outside of our Birdcage is a potential Threat to the Survival of our Ego.  So we need to find a place for it within our existing Constructs.  And since our Cultural Constructs are a prominent part of our Limiting Beliefs, we get a lot of Social Pressure to stay within our Birdcage.

We’ll refer to Curiosity that manages to Avoid “Figuring It Out” as “Honest Curiosity.”  The one that Killed the Cat, aka Threatened the old Ego.  If we haven’t already, we need to Learn to be Loving and Gentle with Honest Curiosity.  We need to Learn to Celebrate it rather than Fear it, because like Confusion, it’s the first stage of Growth in Consciousness.

When two Quincunxes (long green lines in the chart below) converge on the same planet (the green wedges or arrowheads), astrologers call it a “Yod” or “Finger of God.”  It means Pay Attention! to the planet where the Quincunxes converge.  This isn’t in the standard astrological lexicon, but it should be – a Yod also says to Stay Curious about this planet…

There are four Yods in the Chiron-Station chart, each part of the Kites, and each connected to the T-Squares.  The four Pay Attention and Stay Curious planets that the Yods point to are…

• Varuna (the Life Force), part of the Fire Grand Trine (Spiritual Blessings) and a Bridge (Easy Path) in the Saturn-Pholus-Quaoar (The Most Important Thing is Responding to our Survival Instincts) T-Square (Challenge) – that is, Paying Attention to and Staying Curious about our Sense of Well-Being is a clue to our Survival Instincts.
  

• Eurydike-Makemake (Trusting that we can Manifest What We Need), the focus of the Fire Kite (Grace Directed by Spirit) and part of the base of the Saturn-Pholus-Quaoar T-Square; we don’t want to try to predict how it will unfold, but we do want to Trust that Spirit has our back.
  

• OR10 (Intrusive Memories), the focus of the Earth Kite (Grace Directed to the Physical) and part of the base of the Karma (Obsolete Habit Patterns) T-Square.  This should be a Strong time for Curiosity about Memories that can Liberate us from our Limiting Beliefs, some of which may be Oaths we need to Recant.
  

• Juno-Uranus (Soul Coming into Consciousness), a Bridge in both T-Squares and part of the Earth Grand Trine; again, we don’t want to try to predict how it will unfold, but we do want to Trust that we are Evolving toward Close Coordination with our Soul.
  

♥ The short Green lines are the Unxes – Twelfth Harmonic Angles, Opportunities to Break out of Limiting Patterns and Open to New Perspectives to Add to (not Replace) our Existing Skillset.  In the Chiron-Station chart Unxes Connect the T-Squares, and Unxes Connect the Grand Trines, Suggesting that our Work Accepting the Challenges of one of the T-Squares will advance our Work with the other T-Square.

The most important Unx is probably the Waning Unx Connecting the foci of the T-Squares – Karma Unx Saturn-Pholus-Quaoar.  More or less our “final” Opportunity to jettison Habit Patterns that Sabotage our Response to our Survival Instincts.  The most blatant example might be the Self-Worth Deficit that Enables someone to stay in an Abusive Relationship because they Believe it’s better than the Alternatives they deem Possible.  We call this “Unconscious Despair,” when What We Need or Want isn’t Possible without our Mental-Emotional picture of the World.

I refer to the Waning Unx as “final” because it’s the last noteworthy Angle before the New Cycle Begins.  What we don’t Let Go Of at the Waning Unx we carry with us into the New Cycle as Baggage.  You can see how easy it is to get “behind,” with hundreds of Cycles Waning at any given time and with Egos that Resist Change Vigorously. 

Chiron is the planet that can Break us out of Unconscious Despair, as a Poor-Sweetheart is an excellent place to start – “You Poor Sweetheart, you don’t Believe that getting your Needs Met is Possible, do you.”  All of the Lifetimes of “Evidence” that cascades from our mind after such a statement is just the Ego’s Resistance.  We might “graduate” to “You Poor Sweetheart, you don’t Believe you Deserve to get your Needs Met, do you.”  Then we can Tap Out whatever Guilt arises.

It’s a actually Competing Needs that block one another – our Need for Security and our Need for Safety for instance.  It’s a step forward to Recognize the Competition and factor it into your Self-Empathy.  “You Poor Sweetheart, you don’t Believe that you can have both Security and Safety, do you.”  Being Responsive to our Survival includes taking Full Responsibility for what we Manifest.  If Blame is not Possible, what part of you, what other Need of yours, is Stopping you from Creating What You Really Want?

Eventually we can alternate PIAVAing Both/And (or “All of These”) and Tapping Out the Resistance that arises, Allowing What We Want to Change as we Lovingly and Gently Soften our Resistance by Tapping on it.
