Dumpster Fires

Pholus and Quaoar (Responding to our Survival Instincts) have been parked on the cusp of Capricorn (Just Fix It) for a while now, and of course the Sun’s annual passage into Capricorn defines the December Solstice, which is widely understood to be the Beginning of the New Year.  So while the Pholus-Quaoar combo isn’t new, we might expect threats to our Survival to increase again as we move into 2019.  Not a big surprise considering the news.

With our usual three Degrees of Sensitivity, Pholus-Quaoar has been prominent in Solstice charts since December 2016, and will continue to be through December 2019 – including the October 2020 US election, but not the 2020 December Solstice.  If we’re optimistic, we might propose that everyone will be scared enough to rekindle their common sense by October 2020, allowing 2021 to be a bit more stable.

Buuutttt, a number of other major Energies shift by the 2020 Solstice, such as Trump’s War-to-Prevent-US-Regime-Change (Saturn Conjunct Pluto, 12 January 2020 in 23 Capricorn, “A soldier receiving two awards for bravery in combat”) and the Beginning of the Digital Age in earnest (Jupiter Conjunct Saturn in Air, 21 December 2020 in 1 Aquarius, “An old adobe mission in California” – Mission Santa Clara de Asis no doubt).

It’s an interesting “coincidence” that it was these very Spanish Missions that disrupted the well-managed Sustainable Landscapes that the original Quaoar hisself provided the template for.  Last month at the airport we met a barely-survived Marine veteran of Reagan’s War-to-Prevent-US-Regime-Change, against that Perennial Global Threat Grenada.  Thirty-five years later his war wounds were foremost in his introduction to strangers, and given their extent, that’s not surprising.  Maybe the next Trumped-Up War will be against Andorra or San Marino or Uruguay or some other dastardly threat to Global Peace.

The Guardian Brexit Briefing recently put it this way…

“Certain parts of American society now feel a sort of exhausted solidarity with the UK, a relief that they are not the only ones whose country is a raging dumpster fire.  A new sort of special relationship has been forged between the UK and the US; we are united by the fact that we have become global jokes.”

Beginnings and Endings often occur together.  In the case of the December Solstice chart, the dominant Configuration is a Nodal Grand Cross in 29-30 Degrees of the Cardinal Signs – we’re Finishing Up a Creative phase (Cardinal Signs), and about to Begin a Stabilizing phase (Fixed Signs).  We can productively read this as Finishing Up a Creative Destruction phase, and Beginning to Stabilize what we plan to Build upon the Ruins.  Ms. May and Mr. Antichrist, and their respective MPs and lackeys, have done a bang-up job of Creative Destruction, but their Fun may be coming to an End.

Most of the Cusps (Endings/Beginnings) from Scorpio to Aries are occupied, while only one of the other six Cusps is inhabited, which clearly makes Varuna-North Node (Merging of our Mission and our Life Force) at the end of Cancer the Standout Pole.  Thus many other, less Central, segments of our Lives may be Falling Away, as we focus on what’s Most Important.  Varuna-North Node heads a Diamond Star, a Self-Resolving Challenge, so we can sort of Let That Take Care of Itself – where “That” is Allowing the Life Force to Lead our Life rather than our Shoulds and Gottas.

The other corners of the Grand Cross include Uranus, which turns Direct 6 January and returns to Taurus “for good” (for seven years that is) at the Ides of May.  Our Soul will return to the task of Descending into our Physical Vehicle.  If we’re hanging by our heels so we can see the World more clearly, this will look a lot like Ascension.

And Veritas (Truth) enters Scorpio (Fearlessness) just an hour before the Solstice.  This is potentially a Big Deal, as Scorpio is compelled to Get to the Bottom of Things.  Some Fearless Truthiness wouldn’t hurt the Planet at all, though Veritas is only in Scorpio till May, then again from July through November.  But it could start a trend.  And on 3 October next year Veritas Initiates Aletheia (Truth) at 18 Scorpio, “A path through woods brilliant with multicolored splendor.”  So there may be hope.

Of course the Nodes move Retrograde, so they’re really just Beginning their butt-first sashay through Cancer and Capricorn, rather than Ending it.  That’s okay, Degrees in Tropical astrology don’t represent arcminutes in the sky, they represent Days in the Year, Days after the March Equinox that defines the Cusp of Aries.  And most of us most of the time live Time forwards, or at least we think we do.  So 29 Cancer is still the End of Cancer, even if Time in this case is butt-first.

The heavier lines in the chart show the Full Moon that follows the Solstice by less than a Day/Degree.  The orange lines show the Mjōlnir Kite (Epiphanies) that dominates this chart.  Like Varuna-North Node, the Moon is an outlier that focuses the Energy of the crowd on the other side of the Zodiac.  So we can expect from it Significant Insights into how we might Respond to our Survival Instinct most productively.

A strong hint about that resides in the Square (red line) that like a bow holds the Tension for the arrow.  That’s Venus (Values) Square Lilith (Self-Sovereignty).  Our Values are often slanted toward our Heart’s Truth, but usually heavily overlain with Programming from someone else, which was likely to be more their own Programming than their own Heart’s Truth.  In other words our Values can get pretty stilted.  So we’re likely to Discover places where our own Values are Sabotaging our Self-Sovereignty.

It may require some Adjustments to your Lifestyle, but in the long run you won’t regret Letting your Values Change instead of continuing to Compromise your Sovereignty.  Doing that is also very likely to guide you toward the Life Force, help you Respond to your Survival Instincts, and lay the groundwork for your New Life in 5D!

It should be no surprise, given the way astrology has been so explicit lately, that Lilith, Goddess of Self-Sovereignty Herself, is Lit Up while Hylonome is Standing Still.  And Lilith is Merged in the 17 September Hylonome-Station chart with the South Node, repository of our Held Emotions, aka Karma, Mirroring the Grand Cross of No. II…

Our Held Emotions are the ones we’ve Repressed because we’d rather Die than Feel them.  Because they require an Ego Death in other words.  I mean, who would be crazy enough to go into an Ego Death voluntarily!?!? 

Well, I hope that I convince you to do exactly that if you read this blog long enough, because Ego Death is the fastest road to Growth in Consciousness, Liberation, Ascension, Spiritual Progress, Manifesting What You Really Want, Achieving your Lifetime Mission, ending the Heartbreak of Psoriasis, and all the other Good Things I hope you Aspire to.

You can see that Lilith-South Node anchors one end of the base of a Venus T-Square (red triangle – it’s called a “T-Square” because when you draw lines from the center of the Zodiac to each planet, it makes a “T”).  A T-Square is a Challenge to become Adept at something, in this case, Adept at adapting your Values (Venus) to Embrace your Self-Sovereignty in spite of Cultural Pressure to do otherwise.

That includes Cultural Pressure embedded in our own Programming, as we’re taught that Comfort is Good and Discomfort is Bad.  Imagine if you had been taught that Tolerating Discomfort is the pathway to Grace.  Not as the PieInTheSky religions have done, but as the esoteric branches of many religions have done, in teaching techniques to make Tolerating Discomfort more Comfortable and Productive at Liberating us from our Birdcages.

Every day I’m encountering people who are still trapped in the Fear and Anger and Potentially Rough Week series that we dealt with in late August (see https://astrobuss.wordpress.com/category/21st-century/the-teens-2010-2019/2018/august-2018/).  If we don’t “do our work” when it’s timely, we carry it with us, and Life gets more and more complicated as the Old and New Energies Confuse one another.  We Create new Held Emotions. 

When we do “do our work when it’s timely,” we’re less Compromised when we Encounter the New Energy, and better able to deal with it as a Main Effect, rather than having to deal with it as Interaction with all of our other Unfinished Business.  We enter a constantly-improving Virtuous Spiral rather than a “downward” Vicious-Cycle Whirlpool.

There’s a chart and some discussion of the December 2017 Lilith-Venus Initiation (and hence the current Venus-Lilith Cycle) at https://astrobuss.wordpress.com/2017/12/30/new-province-iii/.  “Coincidentally,” the Lilith-Venus Initiation Conjoined Hylonome!  It was at 6 Capricorn, “Ten logs lie under an archway leading to darker woods.”  Ten means Abundance, though the logs are still raw material.  The suggestion is that a Portal into the Wilderness (or, “doing our work while it is timely”) offers great Potential.

Bottom Line: if our Values seem to Conflict with our Urge toward Self-Sovereignty (which we can define as Making Choices that Lead us to Manifesting What We Really Want in the Lifetime), it’s our Values that need to be Examined and possibly Adjusted. 

The Self-Congratulation we use to support our Current Ego is based on our Values, but our Values are seriously Contaminated by our Programming, and may be very different from – and frequently the Opposite of – our Soul’s Desire.  Because we Live in Duality, our Soul is clever enough to Challenge our Ego to Grow by presenting the Ego with the Opposite of what the Soul Really Wants.  Like a parent using reverse psychology on their two-year-old.

“Magnificence

“Take a moment to imagine your magnificence, how would your magnificence appear?  Imagine your magnificence as the brightest spark of light within you.  Observe the spark of light expanding and recognise how your magnificence influences and transforms your entire being, even your thoughts, emotions and actions.  You are connecting with the most amazing, awe-inspiring aspect of yourself, you are connecting with the brilliance and radiance of the Creator.

Makes me sit up straighter just reading the first sentence.  Master Kuthumi goes on to provide several other Magnificent invocations. 

There’s waaay too much going on to be able to write about it all.  Just today we have two Initiations that under quieter Skies we’d want to write about quite a bit – our Values Receiving Shaktipat from Self-Sovereignty (Lilith Initiating Venus at 9am PST), and the New Timeline That We’re Birthing Receiving Shaktipat from our Hidden Genius (Ixion Initiating Klotho at 8pm PST).

The Lilith-Venus Sovereignty-Values Initiation, which Begins a 14-month Cycle, takes place in the same Degree zone as yesterday’s Veritas Station (https://astrobuss.wordpress.com/2017/12/27/new-province-ii-veritas/), so the Energies share the same elements.  The Adjustments to our Values will help us further Negotiate the profound but tricky Waters between our Ego’s Desires and our Soul’s Mission in the Lifetime (the Venus-Lilith-Sun-Hylonome [Letting Go of Blocks to our Commitment to Self-Sovereignty] Mjölner [Epiphany] across the Square [Challenge to Mastery] from the Moon [Passion] to Ceres-North Node [Consistent Dedication to our Mission], drawn below in metallic lines)…

The Birth of a Timeline Especially for our Hidden Genius to Dance Free (Ixion-Klotho Initiation) starts in 27 Sagittarius, therefore sharing much with the 17 December New Moon on the Galactic Center  (https://astrobuss.wordpress.com/2017/12/16/fateful-new-moon-ii/)…

The loudest Configuration in this Ingenue-Genius chart is our Challenge to Master (T-Square, red triangle) Self-Love (Sappho) while Witnessing the Birth of our Soul (Haumea Opposite Uranus-Pallas-Moira) into our Everyday Life.  That’s a Challenge because our Egos will fight Change tooth and nail.  Nothing Personal, it’s just that their Raison d’Etre is to Keep us Safe – which to them means Preservation of Self (ie, Ego) and Status Quo.  The Ixion-Klotho Initiation itself is a Blessing (Trine Bridge) in this Effort.

Hiding behind the T-Square is another Fez, this one a Sextile Fez.  Like before, the key is the diagonal Quincunxes (green lines), symbolizing Curiosity.  These are…

• The Birth of our Resolve to Embrace All of our Emotions and other Pain (Haumea Quincunx Chiron).

• The Use of our Fear as the cookie-crumbs that will lead us directly to our Hidden Genius (Moon-Sedna Quincunx Klotho-Ixion-Pholus)

While it may seem like these can be Dynamically Resolved (for instance, by Poor-Sweethearting and Tapping on Emotional Overwhelm or other Pain), they’re about Curiosity, so we’ll be ahead to PIAVA them first, to Open our Intuition to new information from the Unconscious.  If we rely totally on the Dynamic, we’re likely to Re-Create the Reality we already know.  Our PIAVAs might look something like…

• “Ganeshi, Please Remove All Obstacles to my Noticing whenever Fear arises, and to my Dealing with it as the Experience of Fear in my Body, rather than as my thoughts about it.”

Your thoughts will always lead you to More of the Same.  The mind is the Ego’s Chief Enforcer.  The mind guards all those Limiting Beliefs that form the bars of the Birdcage that we Live in.  So how to Escape, without being nabbed by Sylvester while Granny is away?  Bypass the thoughts (which may sound like “What am I Afraid Of?” or “Why do I Hurt?”) and go directly to “I Feel Scared” or “Ouch, that hurts.” 

Where do you Feel the Pain or Fear in your Body?  Put All of your Attention squarely into the center of it, and keep it there till it moves.  When your Attention wanders, gently bring it back.  As the Fear or Pain Changes, follow it.  Where does it lead?  When the Pain or Fear gets too boring, or disappears (which could take days – so be it), go on with your Life.

• “God/Goddess, Creator of All That Is, I Command that I Notice immediately whenever I Encounter Pain, or Emotions that I Identify with rather than Feel.”

You’d add the rest of the Theta Healing Ritual structure of course – https://astrobuss.wordpress.com/category/manifestation/piava/theta/, and then Change the Subject (see below ♠).  Striving for Consciousness, we want to Notice whenever we step out of the Present Moment (which for most of us is almost all of the time).  We do that when we stop Observing what’s happening in “Real” Time and focus on the Past or the Future, or let any of our many Archetypes take over.

Thin Slices of Anxiety: Observations and Advice to Ease a Worried Mind

We might Ask ourself, for instance, “How old am I?”  The answer I got when I asked that question was six.  Yes, kindergarten for an Introvert was a time of high anxiety.  So I seem to have an Archetype who Believes that Avoidance (for Safety) and Worry (for Problem-Solving) will help me Survive.  Where does it Live in my Body?  Where my Buttocks meet the chair.  When I follow it, it leads me to age 25, negotiating to escape the draft.  I end up with a remarkable burst of Energy.

When I’m Anxious and not Conscious that I’m Anxious, I’m in the grip of an Archeype.  The grammar is profound.  I am Anxious means very simply that I am Identified with the Emotion of Anxiety – it is I.  As a Conscious Observer Asking what’s going on in my Emotional Body, I Feel Anxious is in a totally different Universe.  Now instead of Anxious is I, it’s Observing is I.  I could go a step further and Poor-Sweetheart myself – “You Poor Sweetheart, you’re Feeling Anxious, aren’t you.”  Now, as long as I’m not saying it mechanically, Compassion is I instead.

There’s nothing wrong with Archetypes; they’re Survival mechanisms.  Like Learning to drive can make your Life easier or more Satisfying or more Productive.  An Archetype is any Habit that we do without being fully Present to it.  When I was six, Anxiety was Overwhelming to me.  I couldn’t function, I couldn’t keep myself Safe.  So I Learned how to sublimate it, to turn it down, so I could have free Attention for whatever else there was.  It was not Authenticity, it was Efficiency, it was Survival.  That’s a lot more Important when you’re six. 

Now I’d like to be more Present, more Authentic with myself, more Conscious.  I want to Feel my Anxiety rather than Being it.  I want to be able to Choose which Archetype to use in each situation, or Choose not to use any, and just be Vulnerable.  Most of our Archetypes operate below the level of Consciousness – that’s the way we wanted them to work, so we could operate a Timeline and still have some Free Attention.  That makes them hard to detect, so when we want to Change them we have to call them out somehow – with a PIAVA for instance.

Anxiety of course is just another name for Fear.  So I PIAVA to become an Observer of Anxiety.  It no longer Overwhelms me when I Observe it.  When I am Anxiety without being Conscious of it, I’m Regressed to age 6.  The Regression is complete – I have none of the Skills I’ve Learned since then.  I may not be Overwhelmed, but I’m a captive, tied to the ground by tiny men with ropes.  Once I Realize – Notice – “Oh, I’m Feeling Anxiety,” I Disidentify, and it dissipates.

“It is a matter of frequency.  It is a placing of attention upon a particular frequency that is the answer to most questions.  That is your journey now.  This is an energetic journey through frequency states, you see.  Everything else that plays out in your reality is a reflection of the frequency that you hold.  It really is not any more complicated than that.  Therefore, give more of your attention to the frequency that you are holding.

“How do you that, you might wonder.  Well, the more in tune you are with your feeling state, the easier it is for you then to measure the frequency that you are holding.  The higher frequencies feel better in your physical bodies than the lower ones, and there is no reason for you to fear or judge the lower frequency states.  There is no reason for you to judge yourselves for having activated those lower frequency states.  That is the first place for you to start.

“Let go of any notion that you have that a frequency you are holding is somehow inappropriate, that you should fear it, or that you should feel bad about yourself for accessing it.  It’s just there to be experienced and also to give you a point of relativity.  You cannot really know that you have moved from a lower frequency to a higher frequency without first becoming aware of the lower frequency and what it feels like in your body.

“So start by celebrating that you are aware of the frequency that you are holding.  And if you are holding a higher frequency, then simply amplify it, ride the wave of it, enjoy the feeling to the greatest extent possible.  Let go of your desires to understand where the frequencies come from, how you got to where you are, and just embrace it all.

“Activating a frequency is as easy as modifying your breath.  You know that when you pay attention to your breathing, you can shift how deeply, how slowly or quickly you are breathing, and the same is true of your frequency state.  If you put your attention on it, with the intention of raising it, it does not have to be more complicated than modifying your breath.  In fact, you could say that the two go hand-in-hand.

“So utilize your breath and your ability to consciously breathe in order to tune yourself to your frequency state, in order to amplify your frequency state, and in order to enjoy those higher frequency states to the greatest extent possible.  And then, it is our recommendation that you do not look around your world for immediate results.

“Instead, continue to enjoy your ability to modify your frequency, because in doing so you change the way you feel.  And then the reality around you doesn’t have to change in order for you to feel good.”

 

♠ When we PIAVA (Pray, Intend, Ask, Visualize, or Affirm, or any of the many other methods of inviting Magnetic Creativity to emerge from the Unconscious), we need a way to keep our Habitual thought Patterns from interfering and Creating Just More of the Same.  Our Limiting Beliefs are embedded in our thought Patterns, and one of their Projects is to keep us Unconscious to our Archetypes.  So we have to send our thought Patterns off on Vacation.  We do that by Changing the Subject.

That means Attending to something else, with as much Focus as we can muster.  The prototype is finding our car keys.  They aren’t where we usually keep them, so where the Hell are they?  We look where we last used them, we look everywhere we’ve been.  No luck.  We get bored looking, so we Change the Subject.  We pick up the newspaper instead (we’re old-fashioned), and forget about the car keys (that last part’s important).  A random article mentions Popcorn, and we suddenly remember we were using the keys in the garage to pry a stuck kernel out of the popper.

Now, we were Psychically Ready to Receive our car keys.  If we weren’t, if our Guides were trying to keep us off that patch of black ice, then it might be a while before we “stumble” onto them.  When we’re dealing with Opening the Unconscious, or with Manifesting something into hardcopy Form, we may well not be Ready.  If we’re Ready to Receive, the Universe simply delivers.  All Prayers are Answered.  If we aren’t Ready to Receive, our Prayers are still Answered, but in a different way.

What the Universe, or our Guides, or Whomever you want to call “them,” will Give us a Lesson in why we haven’t been Receiving  all along what we’re having to Ask for.  So our third step, after PIAVAing and Changing the Subject, is to Pay Attention to what the Universe actually Delivered.  We want to wait a day or two after Changing the Subject, to allow time for the Delivery.  Then we look to see what, if aything, happened that was unusual after we Changed the Subject. 

Maybe we Asked for Enough Money (an oxymoron, as a friend used to say), and the Universe made us work overtime.  We wanted More Money, not More Work – but that’s not what we Asked for.  So the Universe handed us More Money in the most efficient way it could, using our own pre-existing Patterns.  Next time we’ll know to Ask for More Money and More Free Time to Enjoy it.

Often it’s not so Clear.  We maybe Ask for a New Friend, and all of our Old Friends are suddenly filling all of our time.  What happened there?  We could guess, but would that apply to you?  You’re the one who has to guess.  Sometimes all we can do is PIAVA to understand the Riddle.  Sometimes we don’t seem to get anything.  A lump of coal in our shoe.  We can put our analytical mind to work on this end of the puzzle, but don’t make Conclusions without testing to see if they actually fit the circumstances.

(5) We’re changing the Water, as a great deal of Ease drops away.  Not all of it, just the most Effortless.  What we’re left with it complementary relationships between Allowing the Rebirth that follows from Letting Go of our Masks, and the Scary Limitlessness that Opens as we begin to Embrace our Abandoned Genius.  The biggest remaining Challenge will be dealing with the Shadows and Projections of our Self-Love, Self-Hate, and Fear.  More on this to follow, as we work up to the Yin Gate and Full Moon.

(6) The Planet, with considerable Authority behind it (namely, the Galaxy), amps up its warning that its tolerance for Abuse is Limited.

(7) Are we actually witnessing another milestone in the Demise of the Patriarchy?  Will The Donald rescue himself?  Tune in next week.  See also (10).

(8) You’re right, War and Violence are not at all Self-Loving, for anyone involved, even the poor Souls trapped in the Bodies of Unconscious Warriors.  If you’ve been wondering where the Grief has been coming from, this is probably it.

(9) If we’re actually going to co-exist on the same Planet, Charisma alone isn’t enough – it begins to look too much like Rhetoric.  We also need to Work at Listening and Understanding.  Acknowledging another person’s Feelings goes a long way toward rapport, especially if you do it with a question instead of a statement.

(10) In the USofA we’ve lately seen plenty of Abusiveness and Privilege coming into Consciousness.  At the moment it’s the Privilege of Men and the Abuse of Women; the Privilege of Whites and the Abuse of Minorities will be back in the news soon.

(5) By around 10 October, Karma abandons the Diamond Star and Grand Trine, but asteroid Hopi (Respect for all Things) moves into Opposition to Chiron, completing the Grand Cross till around 20 October.  The Grand Cross will still be Trine-Bridged by a Golden Rectangle and Quincunx-Bridged by Haumea and Uranus-Eris.  

The Ixion/Pholus-Chaos/Veritas axis of the Grand Cross is one of the three Oppositions in the developing Yin Gate.  There’s a picture of a Yin Gate at https://astrobuss.wordpress.com/2014/06/13/full-moon-yin-gate-and-portal-7-5-15/ , if you’re unfamiliar with the Configuration.  Of course the planets are different than they were in July, but the structure is the same.

The trace of our previous Bravery Vacancy will still make a Grand Trine with Haumea and Chaos, and Kites pointing to Uranus-Eris and Ixion-Pholus.

(6) We have two Initiations today (5 October).  Normally we’d cast Initiations as the centerpiece of our Interpretations – their relegation to footnotes shows how Big (#1-4) are.

First, Quaoar (Survival) Initiates Moira (Fate), which sounds pretty heavy.  The Degree is 28 Sagittarius, an old bridge still in use, and of course the Galactic Center, which is a pretty old bridge all right.

Where to start?

(1) With the big Jupiter Septile Yod I guess.  It’s with us from around 1 October through 7 October.  Remember last week’s Magic Storm?  That was about one version of what we call “Magic” – the Miracle of Timing.  It’s one of the greatest Blessings that follow from developing your Intuition.  You can spend years (or Lifetimes) trying to do something without success, when the Timing isn’t right.  Then, when the Timing is right, you can accomplish it in a Heartbeat.  

Don Juan was always trying to teach Castaneda to “Save his Power,” and this is what he meant – don’t waste your Energy when the Timing isn’t right.  This is the Seventh Harmonic; planets one seventh of the way ’round the Zodiac from one another, or two or three sevenths.  How do we know when the Timing is right?  Our Intuition tells us, but we have to Listen to it and not let the noisy mind overrule it because it would be hard to defend in a debate.  The Moon, in its esoteric Meaning of Instinct and Authenticity, also plays a big role.

Look for places where you’re wasting Energy fretting about not doing something that your Shoulds are nagging about, when the Timing isn’t right, and places where you feel like you’re on a treadmill.  Watch for things that happen in a flash when you expected them to take forever.  We’re Learning here about the Held Emotions and Other People’s Expectations (such as Believing we have to explain ourself) that block us from Trusting our Intuition implicitly, instantly, and unquestioningly.

This next itemdddd deserves a long essay of its own, but I don’t have time right now, so I’ll be “brief”…  

(2) As we’ve discussed at length, we’re being Asked in no uncertain terms to take Responsibility to Embrace the Brilliance, Gorgeousness, Talent, and Fabulosity of the Truth of our Abandoned Genius.  Because the Programming that forced us to Abandon this part of ourself was Abusive, we have to work through a great deal of Pain to get to this Responsibility.  

(3) Until around 10 October, we’re Gifted with unusual Ease in this task.  You definitely want to take advantage of this.  How?  The easiest way is Self-Empathy – and being constantly Watchful for whatever you’re Feeling in the Present Moment…  

• Anger?  Any Self-Judgment there?  “You poor Sweetheart, you’re questioning your Right to Self-Protection, aren’t you.”  
• Worry?  Undifferentiated Unease?  “You poor Sweetheart, you’re Feeling Anxious, aren’t you.”  
• Not sure what’s going on?  Trying to figure it out mentally?  “You poor Sweetheart, you’re Feeling Confused, aren’t you.”  

Wait – Confusion’s the first sign of Growth, right?  Hooray, the Timing is Right to Celebrate!

(4) It gets better.  Surrendering to our Rebirth (which may of course Feel like Ego Death), and Surrendering to the Unknown (which is always Scary), will unleash tremendous Grace on not only the Challenge of Letting Go of our Limiting Programming, but also on any unfinished elements of our many-year task of Removing our Masks and becoming more Authentic to Who We Really Are.  That part is Given to us, all we need to do is stop Resisting it.  

We do have to add one Energy on our own, however, to make it all work Effortlessly.  That Energy is Bravery and Persistence.  If we’re Conscious of our Fear of Death and the Unknown, we can Tap Out the Overwhelm, Locate it in our Bodies, Warm it, Soften around it, Love it where it is, and Breathe into it.  Considering what’s Going On, this will be a Big Order, not because it’s so difficult to Tap or Warm or Breathe, but because what we Fear is so Big that we can’t see it.

We’re looking at our Relationships, our Economic Situation, our Health, our Well-Being, our Anxiety, our Emotions – everything facing and surrounding us.  But what’s Going On is Bigger than that.  A lot Bigger.  Imagine a cloud of Darkness surrounding your House, then your Neighborhood, then your Town, your County, your Region, your Country, your Continent, your Planet, your Solar System, your Galaxy.  That’s what we are Unconsciously Fearing here, and for most of us, it’s not Conscious.  Once we’re Conscious of it, we can Tap Out the Overwhelm, Locate it in our Bod, Love it, Breathe into it.

That part’s “easy,” once we get Conscious of our Fear of Transformation, and find the Courage and Persistence to find the Light Switch that’s hidden within All That Darkness somewhere, and pull it.  It’s Intimidating, but the Light that’s Behind the Sun is far more immense.  Bruce Cockburn said it well half a century ago…

It’s a longer version than Bruce’s, but worthwhile, as she ties it in to many ancient and recent traditions, which, remarkably, we can and will match to what’s Going On in the sky now.

(1) The Septile Yod points at Jupiter (Expansion) from a base of the Waxing Septile from Ceres (Sustainability) to the Conjunction between Neptune (Culture, Material Confusion and Spiritual Clarity) and the South Node (Held Emotion and Hidden Skills).

(2) We’re in the midst of a long-lived Chiron (Despair and Miracle) T-Square (Mastery through Challenge) on a base of the Opposition between Pholus-Ixion (Responsibility-Genius) and dwarf planet Chaos (Unlimited Potential), the latter joined by asteroid Veritas (Truth).  

(3) Asteroid Karma (Inertia) has come into a Sextile to Haumea (Rebirth), with Chiron at the Far Midpoint.  That creates a Chiron Diamond Star (Difficult Challenge Made Easier) across the Chiron T-Square, as both Haumea and Karma form Trine Bridges across the T-Square, in the form of a “bowl of Grace” under it.

(4) Asteroid Karma and Ixion-Pholus join with Uranus-Eris (Removing our Masks, Yintegrity) to form a Grand Trine, a Haumea Kite, and a Chaos-Veritas Kite, leaving one Vacancy to Create a Grand Sextile.  The Vacancy is 23 Capricorn, which is about Bravery in Combat.  Capricorn 23 is also the location of the January 2020 Pluto-Saturn Initiation.

All these Goings On (#2-5), as has often been the case recently, are in 22-25 of their respective Signs. The mid-October (and all month) Nemesis-Juno Conjunction ( https://astrobuss.wordpress.com/2016/09/30/nemesis/ ) is in the same range, at 24 Scorpio, as is the Nova in the Constellation Lupus.

(5) By around 10 October, Karma breaks out of the Diamond Star and Grand Trine, but asteroid Hopi (Respect for all Things) moves into Opposition to Chiron, completing the Grand Cross till around 20 October.  The Grand Cross will still be Trine-Bridged by a Golden Rectangle and Quincunx-Bridged by Haumea and Uranus-Eris.  

The trace of our previous Bravery Vacancy will still make a Grand Trine with Haumea and Chaos, and Kites pointing to Uranus-Eris and Ixion-Pholus.

(6) We have two Initiations today (5 October).  Normally we’d cast Initiations as the centerpiece of our Interpretations – their relegation to footnotes shows how Big (#1-4) are.

First, Quaoar (Survival) Initiates Moira (Fate), which sounds pretty heavy.  The Degree is 28 Sagittarius, an old bridge still in use, and of course the Galactic Center, which is a pretty old bridge all right.

A Month of Yindependence Work

Vivianite, an Iron Phosphate and a powerful holder and healer of Feminine Energy and Power.  Keep Vivianite Crystals in the dark if you want to preserve their color and transparency.  This month though you may find yourself less motivated to keep your Feminine Energy and Power in the dark.  Nevertheless, it could be a rocky month, and Self-Care is still Priority Number One.  The Vivianite Crystal in your closet is a good reminder to always be mindful of Self-Protection.

Elizabeth informs us that the probable dwarf planet Ixion is also Stationary Direct at 20 Sagittarius – the same location as the throng of Stationing Centaurs – on September 3.  Ixion in mythology, through a series of demonstrations of his total absence of moral character, ended up as the grandfather of the entire race of Centaurs.  Clearly something is up in the Sign of the Centaur.  Even more intriguing, it was a surrogate for Juno – the Edges of Consciousness – that Ixion coupled with to produce the father of the Centaurs.

In our earlier post we mentioned that Venus in Leo forms a Grand Trine with the Stationary Sagittarian Centaur Stellium and Eris-North Node in Aries.  On closer examination we find that Venus Conjoins Lilith.  Lilith moves a lot slower than Venus, which leaves this Grand Trine in place all during the month of September and well beyond.  So we need to look that over more closely.

Lilith Initiates Venus at half past 3am PDT on August 28, at 20 degrees of Leo, “Zuni Indians perform a ritual to the Sun: A return to the glorification of natural energies.”  It’s relatively unusual for a Sabian Symbol to be so specific, and interesting that the Zuni have maintained an irrigated desert agriculture for thousands of years, much longer than most irrigation-based cultures, because as irrigation water evaporates the soil becomes increasingly clogged with salts.  The Zuni succeed by understanding and following the rules about caring for the Land and the People, exactly what the dwarf Planet Quaoar is about – and Quaoar is also Stationary Direct among the gang of Centaurs.

While the Grand Trine starts as an enhanced Brilliant (Mercury and Mars make the Squares in the face of the Brilliant, and it’s enhanced by a Yod to Sedna from the North Node-Centaurs face of the Kite), the enduring parts of the complex include the Grand Trine itself between Lilith and Eris and Quaoar-Ixion-Chariklo-Pholus-Hylonome, and a Tricolor comprised of Lilith Square Sedna Quincunx the Centaurs et al Trine Lilith.  With Eris on the South Node, the Grand Trine is really a Kite focused on the North Node.

The mythology around Pholus and Hylonome centers on Death, Pholus by accident as a result of giving away too much hospitality, and Hylonome by choosing to follow her Lover to the Other Side.  While the dwarf planet Chariklo is a Centaur astronomically, the mythological Chariklo was a nymph depicted as a human whose primary attribute was beauty.  Like the Trine itself, Beauty has its own Karma, as the temptation of Arrogance, till one learns that the extra attention one receives is not due to strength of character.  Not that Chariklo herself is associated with Arrogance, just that inflation is a potential Karmic quality of Beauty.

So this trio of Centaurs kind of symbolizes several ways of Giving Away Our Power, through excess generosity, codependence or merging, and misinterpretation of Grace.  I can see Lilith gritting her teeth.

In the center of the herd are enforcer Quaoar and sociopath Ixion – Quaoar whose People believed that they would have to “go back to eating clay” if they didn’t follow the rules about keeping their Landscape in order, and the ultimate scofflaw Ixion, who was tricked by Zeus into dancing with the Edges of Consciousness to spawn the Centaur race.  Quaoar’s rules are about when to plant food crops, not about how often to water the lawn.  Of course any enforcer of the rules is also in Resistance to Creativity, and Victim of their own variety of hubris.

These are some deeply Archetypal notions.  Then we have whistleblower Eris, still within three degrees of the South Node, the very home of Karma.  If any party ever needed a Golden Apple, this gang of Sagittarii is it.  Heavy stuff – good thing it’s a Grand Trine!

The Tricolor starts with a Square from Lilith to Sedna…

The Risk in Yindependence lies in angering the fathers, as their reaction can be extreme and irrational.  Easing the Risk lies in Curiosity about what that Cavalry in Sagittarius might do or mean for us.  The fathers are conflicted.  The Stallion in them doesn’t want any Mares to leave the fold, and flying hooves can be murderous.  The upper half understands the prohibition – unless ruthless Ixion has taken charge.   There are times when the rulegiver needs to be overthrown, and who better for the job.  But will we have to go back to eating clay?

Feigned generosity or codependence or seduction no longer work, because the Mare half of the females is taking charge with her own flying hooves, and leaving the upper half to reassemble the broken pieces.

The Kite tells us that the North Node – our Mission – is in charge here, which is good…

The message is that while it could get very rocky in September, we’re better off letting “Nature” (or Chaos) “take it’s course,” rather than trying to steer anything one way or another.  Remember that the Galactic Center’s hyperbeam of Energy rides on the back of these Centaurs.  It won’t be immediate, but the outcome will be positive.  Expect to be very surprised by the way the Worm turns.

Next we need to see when the Moon crosses each corner of the Kite and Yod/Tricolor and the Vacancies of the Grand Sextile template, so we can see how the Energies will shift from week to week.  The Moon crosses the rodeo grounds September 2-3…

Our earlier post saw the Stampede intensifying on August 29 and September 3, 4, and 7.  Specifically, we should expect the hooves to fly strongest from around 6pm PDT September 2 till about 1pm PDT September 3.  Don’t be surprised by unexpected reactions – yours or others’ – here, as parts of ourselves that have been dormant suddenly wake up and demand a place at the table.  Lots of surprises.

The Moon Opposes Lilith September 6-7, then crosses South Node-Eris on September 10-11.

After some excitement September 6-7 overnight (probably some clarity about what those newcomers want), the next big peak will span roughly 10pm PDT September 10 through 8pm PDT September 11.  This is where you’re likely to discover that the Limitations you’ve been blaming on others are actually Limiting Beliefs within yourself.  Don’t try to save face here, just accept the Truth and feel how much Stress it releases, as you don’t have to cover up any more, and you can start working directly for what you really Wanted all along.

Moon over Sedna September 13…

Our next Portal open around 1am PDT September 13, and closes near 7pm PDT.  This is likely to be when the Risk will feel greatest.  Stand up tall, raise and spread your arms, and roar.  Make as much noise as you can.

On September 15-16 the Moon Opposes the Stables, and on September 20-21 it crosses Lilith.

Expect Stürm und Drang September 15-16, but much of it will be just bluster.  From 11am or so PDT September 20 till about 3am PDT September 21, though, the Birds come home to roost.  If you don’t feel Liberated by now, feel free to make a stand for it.  The Goddess is on your side.

The Moon crosses the North Node, at this point accompanied by Pallas, on September 25-26.

Portal 9.25-9.26 stretches from 9am PDT September 25 to 2am PDT September 26.  We should see the outline of those promised positive outcomes by now.  Reconsider all of your Boundaries here.  You may have been Protecting yourself in places where you’ve now recovered enough Power that you don’t need Protection there.  There may also be places where you need to strengthen your Boundaries, to protect Recovered parts of yourself that are still tender.

The last day of September sees the Moon again crossing Ixion, Pholus, Chariklo, Hylonome, Quaoar, and the Galactic Center.

The Cavalry rides through again on September 30, most intensely from 1am to 7pm PDT.  This is partly cleanup, and partly the beginning of Round 2, as the Configuration stretches into October.

It should be quite a ride.
