4 July X – Victimhood II

Before we launch into the 6 July Haumea Station, the final Act in the 4 July Drama, we should point out that the Grace in a Diamond Star is somewhat Conditional.  The Trines (long blue lines in the picture in the previous post) happen on their own…

• Greater Consciousness of our Fears will lower our Self-Sabotage and incline us more toward Community (Venus-Sedna to Hopi-Makemake)
• Embracing what we would normally Avoid will Open us to Greater Life Energy (Stationary Chiron to Atropos-Varuna)

but the Sextiles (short blue lines) that actually form the bottom of the Bowl of Grace and allow it to Hold Water…

• Confronting our Fears as Lovingly as we can (Stationary Chiron to Venus-Sedna)
• Assigning greater Value to Life-Enhancing Energies and less Value to our Fears (Venus-Sedna to Atropos-Varuna)
• Channeling greater Energy toward the Collective (Atropos-Varuna to Hopi-Makemake)

require that we take the first step.  And the Finger of God tells us exactly what steps to take. 

The Quincunx (that’s Quinc=5 Unx=12 or 5/12ths of the Zodiac, or 5 Signs – the long green lines) is about Curiosity, and Curiosity, if we don’t short-circuit it by seeing it as a Problem to be Solved, is first cousin to Love, as they both Eschew Judgment.  We might even say that “Now these four things abide: Faith, Hope, Love, Curiosity; but the greatest of these is Curiosity,” as Love wilts when Judgment or any other Either/Or replaces Curiosity.

We want to Experience the Curiosity as Awe or Wonder; if we see it as a Problem and Solve it, we’ve summarily dropped back into Either/Or and blown our Opportunity for Miracles.  As with Confusion; if we try to Resolve Confusion rather than Enjoying it as a Wonder, we blow our Opportunity to Expand our Consciousness.

A Finger of God, or “Yod” – which translates to “Pay Attention!” – is composed of two Quincunxes pointing to the same place.  The “same place” is what we’re instructed to Pay Attention To, in this case Becoming Fully Responsible to our Survival Instincts (Quaoar-Pholus-Galactic Center).  We convert the Quincunxes to PIAVAs in order to Avoid left-braining or intellectualizing them, which would Freeze the potential for Miracles.  We might use something like…

• “Ganeshi, please Remove All Obstacles to my Trusting my Survival Instincts more highly than my Fears, and Teaching others how to do the same” (Venus-Sedna to Quaoar-Pholus-Galactic Center)
• “I Wonder how I can Lovingly and Gently Let Go of Inhibitions to my Life Energy and Be More Responsive to the Needs of the Planet” (Atropos-Varuna to Quaoar-Pholus-GC)

We’ve added more-than-Personal terms because of the presence of the Galactic Center.

Of course there are some issues which do Require Plan-Execute Problem-Solving.  As with Yintegrity, where…

To Live Yintegrity in a Yangtegrity World, we may need to minimize our Commitments, be Willing to Renegotiate often, and to Make Amends where Renegotiation isn’t possible and the Relationship is a Keeper.  To review, in a Yangtegrity like the Patriarchy, we’re expected to Do What We Said We Would, while in Yintegrity we Do What We Feel Like Doing, Moment to Moment…

we may not always have time to finish a PIAVA by Changing the Subject and later Paying Attention.  For instance, if we’re living six feet above mean high tide, we may need to prioritize starting the process of moving to higher ground, then PIAVA ways to make the move Effortless, and ways to Effectively help our fellow Earthlings (of all Orders and Species) Attend to their Survival.

We also find a big “Quintile Yod” – two Biquintiles pointing to the same place (the Quintile is one fifth of the way ’round the Circle, the Biquintile 2/5th – the orange lines below) – in the Chiron Station chart.  The Fifth Harmonic and Quintile are about Learning and Teaching, and the QYod says “Pay Attention to Learning about the planet at the Focus.”  As it did in the Diamond Star, the Chiron Station also plays a supporting role in the QYod…

The Star of the QYod (as in the other Finger of Yod, the planet being pointed to is the Pay Attention To This! planet) is Vesta, which symbolizes our Unconscious Beliefs, which are often our Limiting Beliefs.  Vesta isn’t within our usual day-to-day three-Degree Sensitivity Range to be counted as Conjunct the North Node (our Destination or Mission in the Lifetime), but at four Degrees it’s plenty close to count as Conjunct for Birth purposes, and the whole 4-July Drama is about Rebirth, so we’ll count it.

The North Node Initiates Vesta, starting a new Cycle, on 8 July at 27 Leo, which is about Total Focus on Inner Spiritual Attainment.  In general, Vesta-Nodes Cycles are about Cleansing our Unconscious Beliefs.  The Vesta-North Node Cycle is about Creating new Patterns that Support our Mission, and the Vesta-South Node Cycle about Becoming Aware of Archetypes that Inhibit our Mission.  Remember that our South-Node Patterns (aka Karma) include our Held Emotions that hide the Skills we need to move toward our Mission.

So we are at the half-way point, or the Blooming, of the current Vesta-South Node Cycle, which began in June 2015 at 6 Aries, “A square with one of its sides brightly illuminated.”  So yes, our South Node Patterns, like our astrological Squares, are Challenges, and one of our Challenges has been Brightly Illuminated since June 2015, never more so than at the Present Moment.  That should be pretty Easy – which of your Lifetime Bugaboos has been most prominent over the last two years, and is most prominent now?

Based on my own Experience, I’m guessing that you’re noticing Surprising major Changes in your Response to that Pattern as we speak, and that those major Changes will greatly color the character of your 4-July Rebirth, and facilitate your Focus on Spiritual Atunement.  The idea that Spirit is something to be Attained is a bit old-fashioned.  Spirit is ever-present; it’s the Ego that just needs to Surrender to it.  Striving, as an extension of the Ego, moves us backward, in spite of what Goethe said about Wer immer strehbend.

For me it’s been Chocolate and her best bud Sugar (Organic of course, as non-Organic Sugar is invariably laced with toxic Glyphosate).  When it’s an abscess making it a Choice between Pain and Sugar, the Clear Choice is No Pain.  But otherwise, giving up Pleasure is Anti-Life.  Then there’s Moderation, always a fine idea, but the Choice between Pleasure and Moderation isn’t an Easy one without strong Incentives. 

Well, a few days ago it spontaneously occurred to me that I might be able to get away with Allowing myself the Pleasure of Chocolate and Sugar if I eat Vegetables first.  Then I realized that I could Interpret the urge for Chocolate as a signal to Meditate, without making any Conclusions about what might follow the Meditation.  I’m sure I’ve made a ton of PIAVAs about this, though I don’t recall any specifically.  I should keep a log – otherwise, how can I accurately Pay Attention?

The “foot” of the Vesta QYod is the Quintile from the Chiron Station to Pluto.  The Changes to the Lifetime Bugaboo that are so Surprising and Evident now are probably Pluto’s work, as Pluto’s processes are pretty much Mandatory, bypassing the Ego entirely.  Even without a deliberate course of Poor-Sweethearts, the Chiron corner is busily transforming the Suffering (including Guilt, which is Suffering) which our Bugaboo has brought us for the last two years, into Miracles.  I mean, how many times have you tried to shift these Patterns, and how many times has your success been marginal at best?  And now, Whoosh, suddenly there are Miracles.

So it’s a Timing issue, and a Timing issue always Asks what Septiles or Seventh-Harmonic Angles are involved, since the Seventh Harmonic is in charge of Timing.  Without searching the dwarf planets for Septiles, which would probably take a couple of days, one Septile Yod (a third planet Triseptile from two planets Septile to one another) does pop up in the Chiron Station chart, pointing at Saturn-Ixion from a base of the Septile between Venus-Sedna and Mars.  So maybe we’re getting close enough to our Forbidden Genius that they’re able to provide clues more helpful than just “Who do we hate?” since while that one’s Obvious, it’s not Easy.

We also notice a Venus-Sedna Mjölnir (a third planet Trioctile to each end of a Square) emerging from the Square between Moon-Jupiter and Juno.  So Expansive and Consciousness-Growing Epiphanies are also in order about Relationships between Fear and our Values.

Sustainable or Else

The Angel of Pluto, from five days away (NASA-JHUAPL-SWRI).

About half a day before the New Moon, and about a day after the New Horizons trolley sails within several thousand miles of Pluto, the Moon crosses Mercury and Mars, which closely Oppose Pluto.  Of course that’s about the time when NASA will first unveil some of the portraits that New Horizons snapped at close range.  So we’d expect that…

Pluto will have something very distinct and very adamant to say on July 15th.

Meanwhile, that New Moon!

I hope we all graduated from our Self-Love SATs with flying colors.

Because the New Moon falls right into the same Degrees!  Jupiter’s now in the 25th Degree of Leo, so it’s no longer within our usual 3 Degrees of Sensitivity to the other members of the would-be Grand Sextile.  But with the New Moon at 24 Cancer the focus of the current chart, we take three Degrees on either side, or 21-27 Degrees.  Which gives us nine out of twelve points on a Grand Unx.

The Unx, recall, is the Twelfth Harmonic, or the Angle between two planets that are one Sign apart.  The Grand Unx then is a planet in the same (or close to the same) Degree of all twelve Signs.  The Twelfth Harmonic is the Pattern-Breaker, or the Hanged Person; not hanging by the neck or fingernails, but hanging by the ankles and hence seeing the World through different Perspectives.

Last week’s Grand Sextile was ruled by the Station of Haumea – Rebirth, and the Vacancy – the warm and comfortable rug in the nursery; a Rebirth into Self-Love.  This week it’s Eris that’s Stationary, now within three Degrees from Uranus and now turning Retrograde to move back toward Uranus, and almost exactly Square to the New Moon.  Eris turns Direct on July 19.  This is one focus of the would-be Grand Unx…

A major theme this week will be the Revelation of Denial.  Don’t hide from it behind embarrassment or Shame.  Seek it out.  Use your Curiosity, Actively.  “I wonder what I’ve been Denying!?!?  I’ll wager if I open up to it Lovingly, and Ask for Grace, I can stop sabotaging myself and get on with my Dreams, eh?  Won’t that be Grand!”

And sure enough, there’s Chiron in the almost-Grand Unx.  That’s exactly what Chiron’s about, transcending Limiting Beliefs by Breaking up Patterns that have been sabotaging and discouraging us, and exposing us to the Miracles that lie on the other side of the Limiting-Belief curtain.

The other focus of the Grand Unx is the Ixion-Pholus-Quaoar Stellium in 22-27 Sagittarius.  It’s a major focus because it’s the outlier – the other eight points are one Sign apart, and the Stellium is two Signs distant on one side and three Signs distant on the other.  The eight adjacent points form a bowl or curved mirror, focusing everything back onto the outlier, like the focus of a Reflecting Telescope.

The Ixion-Pholus-Quaoar Stellium, all of which are Retrograde, says…

We are Required to Take Responsibility.  It’s no longer optional.  Our Survival depends on it.  No matter how many of our philosophical or moral or political or hedonistic precepts it violates, we have to take Responsibility.  It is now The Law, and it will be enforced by the Power of the Galaxy.

We didn’t notice, but Quaoar, which itself represents The Law-Giver, slipped past the Galactic Center on January 12 of this year.  After turning Retrograde, it crossed again on June 19.  It’s third and final crossing will be November 24.  Quaoar represents Natural Law, Law of the sort where violations don’t get you in trouble, they get you dead.  That’s just Quaoar by itself; now it has the Authority of the Galaxy behind it.

We intuit the theme of Sustainability because that’s the sort of Law that Quaoar gives.  Ceres (Sustainability), though, is the focus of a Mjolnir (Epiphany) across the Square from Lilith (PIAVA) to Chaos (Unlimited Potential).

We had our Can-Opener in January, and our Exposition in June.  By now we should have learned a good deal about what Unconscious contents are forcing themselves out into the Light.  We have until late November to allow those urges to permeate our Life.  It doesn’t matter if we’re Ashamed of them, or if they violate what we believe to be Sacred, or if they open a chasm between us and our Community.  We have no choice but to honor them, or they will rip us to shreds.  There is great Grace available to us here; take advantage of it, as it will last only till about July 26.

The Stellium makes a Grand Trine with Uranus-Eris and Jupiter, but Jupiter moves beyond three Degrees from Eris around the 26th, just as Uranus is Stationary, and Venus is turning Retrograde in the first Degree of Virgo.  The first Degree of Virgo is itself a Pattern-Breaker, though it usually feels more like an Ego-Buster.  Which is exactly what a Pattern-Breaker is, since it’s Ego that we have invested in our Limiting Beliefs.

We need to be practicing our Skill at recognizing Ego Death.  When it feels like “I am Dying,” shift your focus.  It’s “I am Dying,” as in “My Old, worn-out Ego is Dying.”  May it rest in Peace.  It’s served me well, getting me this far, but Lord Knows it’s tired out! 

Okay, it doesn’t feel like a Sunny day in the park, but that’s what Rebirth feels like.  I Loved my Old Ego, and it Loved me, and I’ll miss it.  We were best friends.  It’ll take a while to get used to this new Ego, and I won’t always know how to Act or Feel.  I’ll be Confused and clumsy.  I guess that’s what it’s like Learning anything new though. It’s okay to be embarrassed; we’re newbies.  I need to be my own best Cheerleader. 

“Hooray New Ego!  We’ve got some Learning Curve to get through here, but the Future is Wide Open, and we’re looking forward to Manifesting some great things that we’ve been Dreaming about for a long time.”  Set your Doingness aside; that’s your Old Ego.  No Stress allowed here; it’s Rest you want to pursue instead.  Sure, some folks pop up off the Birthing table and go right back to their CEO jobs the next day – and in the process Abandon their progeny – which here means Abandoning yourself. 

Let the Future come to you; if you strive to go after it, you can only do that under your Old Ego’s terms, and you’ll revert back to your Limiting Beliefs.  Use your PIAVAs instead. 

Confusion is the first stage of Growth – don’t try to overcome it or think your way out of it.  Celebrate it!  “Oh gosh, there’s Confusion!  Happy Day!  We’ve escaped our Birdcage and we’re flying free!” 

Which of course could mean the Cat isn’t far away – “Oh gosh, there’s Fear!  Happy Day!  We’re encountering unfamiliar turf and about to Break Through to New Heights – all we have to do is Breathe, and maybe Tap a bit, eh?” 

And maybe backpedal a little – Safety First!  We want to take Risks, that’s what Learning is about, but we don’t want to overextend ourself, because that will set us back.  We may want to PIAVA a Loving and Gentle Learning Experience, Growth, Rebirth, AND Safety.

Wait – is that Discouragement, or even Despair?  Where did that come from?  Oh yeah, all Losses must be Grieved, even the Loss of an Old worn-out Ego suit.  Hey, I remember!  I need to Empathize with my Despair – “You poor Sweetheart, you’re feeling down, aren’t you.  That’s okay, Honey, I won’t Abandon you, take as long as you need to Feel into that.” 

Don’t try to talk yourself out of what you’re Feeling; instead, step outside yourself, look back, and Witness what you’re really Feeling, but from outside of it.  Shift from “I am Discouraged” to “I feel Discouraged” – it’s a tiny semantic shift and a giant step for personal Growth. 

There are two of you occupying the same Body – the first You Feels Discouraged, and the second You Feels Loving Kindness toward the first You that’s in Despair.  There’s no attempt to Change what you’re Feeling, only a shift in your Perspective, a Loving Witness, a shift in your Assemblage Point, an instant Rebirth.

The Sky is the Limit here, as Chaos (Unlimited Potential, not Disorder) Opposes the Ixion-Pholus-Quaoar Stellium, and the Lilith-Chiron Opposition joins it for a Grand Cross.  The Stellium says, “This is the Law“;  Chaos says “Go for the Gold“; Lilith says “Let it Come to You, don’t chase it“; and Chiron says “Be the Witness.”  The Grand Cross says “There’s too much going on and too much at stake for us to get stuck on any one thing here; we have to Let Go and Let God!”

And don’t forget all that Grace, in the Grand Trine between the Stellium, Uranus-Eris, and Jupiter, in the Fire Signs – in Spirit.  The Grand Cross is in the Mutable signs – Mutable as in Mutation…

We’re Changing here, we all are.  All bets are off.  Look for any Expectations, and Cancel-Neutralize-Upgrade them.  Cancel the Expectation, Neutralize the Vibration it Created, and Upgrade the Expector – Expectorate your Expectations.  All Expectations arise from your Old Limited Ego, whether they’re cynical or hopeful. 

Hopeful Expectations are Fantasies, and Fantasies are not PIAVAs.  Fantasies have Limitation at their core.  Otherwise we would have Manifested them all along.  You don’t know how the Future will unfold, because we haven’t Co-Created it yet.  Intentions and Desires, by all means, but Expectations are Manifestation killers.

Makemake (Manifestation) and Vesta (Belief) both meet the North Node (Mission), on the Cusp of Libra, in mid-September.  The Cusp of Libra is where we meet Other for the first time, or as if for the first time.  As we integrate the newly emerging formerly-Unconscious contents into our everyday Lives, we’ll begin to newly integrate them into our Relationships as well.

Without Curiosity there is no Love.  If your Relationships are based on Expectation, they’ll be mired in Judgment rather than Celebration and Freedom and Exploration.  Begin to watch for Expectation in your Relationships, and Expect your Expectations to be incomplete, if not downright incorrect.  “Aha, there’s Expectation!  I wonder what that would look like if I opened to Curiosity about what was really going on for them?”  Not Curious as in “I need to find an answer,” but Curious as in “Wow, that’s Awesome!  I wonder what I’ll discover next?”

The Grand Cross and the Grand Trine make up six of the nine points of the would-be Grand Unx.  The corner they share is the Stellium – another reason to consider it a major focus of the chart.  It would be the major focus were Eris not Stationary and about to make a once-in-a-century Initiation of Uranus, which will open a whole panoply of new Channels between us and our Soul.

The seventh point is the New Moon – which is itself a major Focus, as a New Moon is always a Rebirth.  The presence of the New Moon in the almost-Grand Unx is what calls it forth into our Attention.  And speaking of Rebirth, the eighth point is Haumea, the Stationary focus of last week’s almost-Grand Sextile.

The ninth point is Sedna – Actions taken out of Fear.  It’s well placed, the focus of a Yod from Haumea and the Stellium.  The Yod says,

“Be mindful of Fear, and don’t let it control your Actions.  It you’re Present with your Fear, Witness it, Empathize with yourself when you Feel it, and don’t try to think yourself out of it or make it Go Away, then you’ll find its source, and Clear it, and it will no longer Limit you.”

Sedna and the New Moon are the roots of the Diamond Star that’s focused on the Stellium and its T-Square with Chiron and Lilith – another reason to make the Stellium a major focus of the chart.

A final note – Responsibility is not Blame.  Blame looks at the Past and tries to attribute Cause.  Responsibility looks at the Future and tries to improve Outcomes.  They are totally different.  It’s very difficult to escape the concepts of Blame and Cause and Effect, because we’ve been trained from infancy to Believe that they’re the Operating Principles of Reality.  They aren’t.  They’re the Operating Principles of the Left Brain, and the Operating Principles of Immature Emotions.  Reality Operates on the Principle of “This just Is, and that’s that.”  If you can approach the World with Perennial Curiosity rather than Expectation, you’ll find it to be full of Surprise, Delight, and Awe, not Blame or Causality.

The Stellium Initiations

Looking at the Stellium reductively, we examine the nature of each of the Energies birthed into it.  Seen statically, a Stellium is a cluster of planets.  Viewed dynamically, a Stellium is a mass birth of Cycles.  The Energy of a Cycle is strong at it’s birth, though we can expect considerable Resistance as those who benefit from the status quo seek to Deny the Changes.  So a Stellium is a cauldron of Creation.

The July 5 Ceres-Vesta Initiation occurs at 22 Libra, “A child giving Birds a drink at a fountain.”  The 15-year Vesta-Ceres Cycle is about the Sustainability of our Belief systems – that is, do they grow corn.  Being the longest Cycle in the Stellium, it plays the senior role.  We have Innocence, Spirit, Emotion, and Compassion, perhaps Empathy, in the image.  Innocence serving up Emotion to Spirit – interesting permutation.  So

For the next fifteen years the most Sustainable view of the Sacred is that we are to surrender our Emotions to Spirit rather than try to analyze them.

On July 12 Ceres Initiates Mars at 25 Libra – “The sight of an autumn leaf brings to a pilgrim the sudden revelation of the Mystery of life and death.”  The 3-year Mars-Ceres Cycle governs whether we use our Physical Energy in Sustainable ways.  We have endings giving a seeker a relief from Grief.

North Node Initiates Vesta in the same degree on July 13.  Another 3-year Cycle.  North Node-Vesta would have us revise our Belief systems every three years, so Belief serves Mission as it evolves.  For this next three years then

By acknowledging Mystery we avoid wasting our Energy on trying to make sense of Emotions.  By honoring Emotions in and of themselves, without trying to trap them in Cause-and-Effect cages, we liberate our Instincts and are thus able to process information and respond to it orders of magnitude more quickly.  We also save our intellect for more productive endeavors.

Also on July 13, the North Node Initiates Mars in 24 Libra, “A Butterfly with a third wing on its left side.”  Mars-North Node is pursuit of our Mission.  The left side emphasizes the Feminine, and Magic.  It’s a 2-year Cycle.  The Butterfly implies impermanence and frequent transformation.

The next day, the North Node Initiates Ceres in this degree.  The 3-year Ceres-North Node Cycle involves our persistence in honoring our Deepest Desires, and also suggests paring away from our lives what doesn’t serve our Mission.

We don’t need to understand our Mission in order to PIAVA that we pursue it vigorously.  That will give us an advantage and allow us to respond quickly to its evolution, increasing our progress.  It will also make it easier to stick with it, and create less wasted Life.

Back to 25 Libra – the Leaf, the Pilgrim, and the Mystery – for the Vesta-Mars Initiation on July 15.  Vesta being the fastest of the big four asteroids, its speed is closer to that of Mars, so the Mars-Vesta Cycle runs four years, making it the second-most senior Energy in the Stellium.  Mars-Vesta is about Walking our Talk, putting supporting our Beliefs with Work.

Allowing our Beliefs to govern our Actions will regenerate our Energy.

Then we have to correct our initial reductivism, and reassemble these notions into a coherent Whole…

Our Mission is conveyed to our Ego through our Deepest Desires.  When you actually pursue your Deepest Desires, have you noticed how elusive they are?  They’re a Siren, beckoning and disappearing into the mist, again and again.  Of course, most of us just repress them as unavailable or forbidden.  So the first step toward moving into our Mission is to stop repressing our Deepest Desires.

The Stellium advises us to use a feminine approach when pursuing them.  We do that by eschewing analysis of our Emotions and trusting them as Instincts.  We honor the Mystery by using PIAVA rather than Plan-Execute, again, to avoid wasting intellectual Energy on trying to masculinize the process.  One of the first “rules” of Jungian thought is “Don’t seduce your Animus/Anima.”  What that means is that you want your Inner Male/Female to be an integral part of your Egoic Self, not an Other from which you (your unmerged Ego) seek gratification. 

A good way to do that is, rather than pursuing our Deepest Desires directly, we PIAVA to feel the way we will feel when our Deepest Desires are fulfilled.  That way we bypass the Siren and go straight to the Essence of our Mission.  

Full Moon Yin Gate and Portal 7.5-15

Swallowtail Selenite, a Crystalline form of Gypsum or Calcium Sulfate.  The same stuff that the inside walls in your house are made of.  Like Feminine Power – often so subtle that it’s not even seen, but what would you do without it?  Look at those subtle colors!

As we’ve said about the Full Moon’s Yin Gate…

“The Core Issue is the Mysterious Relationship between our Soul’s Path and our Personal Mythology.  And the way that Mystery is Changing, as our Personal Mythology changes, and as our Soul’s Path evolves and adapts to the Choices our Ego makes. 

“This is the central Opposition from the Vesta-Ceres Conjunction to Uranus, the central axis of the Yin Gate.”

“As in any Yin Gate, there are two Subsidiary Issues.  The first is the Mysterious Relationship between the concept of Order in your Personal Mythology, and the concept of Beauty in your Personal Mythology.  Do you know what it means to a Native American to ‘walk in beauty’?

“One of the other Oppositions in this Yin Gate is between Venus and Saturn.

“And the second Subsidiary Issue is the Mysterious Relationship between the concept of Miracle in your Personal Mythology, and the concept of The Feminine in your Personal Mythology.

“The link is indirect, which we’ll explain in a while, but the third Opposition is between Chiron and a derivative of Lilith.  Derivatives were not reigned in after they caused the Worldwide 2007-8 crash.”

A Yin Gate is a Golden Rectangle (two parallel Trines with Sextiles between their ends, the blue lines) with embellishments – namely a planet that bisects each Sextile.  The two bisecting planets create back-to-back Fingers of God or Yods (the green lines) with the opposite corners of the Golden Rectangle.  Which means that there are three equally spaced Oppositions involved (the dark red lines).

In a Golden Rectangle, the two Oppositions provide the Energy, and describe any conflicts or Learning Opportunities that might arise.  But in a Yin Gate it’s the central Opposition that provides the Energy and intrigue, by virtue of the back-to-back Fingers of God.  A Finger of God (two Quintiles from a third planet to each end of a Sextile) basically means Pay Attention to this!

In this case the Core Issue is realignment of the Balance between the Yintegrity that we’ve been working with since 2012, and the re-examination of our deepest Values, which we’re in the middle of.

The actual Initiation of Vesta (our deepest Values, or that which we hold Sacred) by Ceres (Sustainability) doesn’t take place for a few more weeks, but they’ve been dancing together for a while now, so we can consider these realignments with our Yintegrity to be part of the Initiation, which as we said earlier was about “A child giving Birds a drink at a fountain: Manifest Form reconnecting itself to its overlighting Spirit.“

Sacred And Sustainable

As it turns out, this re-examination of our Deepest Values is very profound.  Take a look at this intense ten-day Portal that spans July 5 through 15 – though we’re actually already well into the preliminary training…

• July 5: Ceres Initiates Vesta at 22 Libra
• July 5-6: The Moon crosses Mars, Ceres, Vesta, and North Node
• July 12: Ceres Initiates Mars at 25 Libra
• July 13: North Node Initiates Vesta at 25 Libra
• July 13: North Node Initiates Mars at 24 Libra
• July 14: North Node Initiates Ceres at 24 Libra
• July 15: Vesta Initiates Mars at 25 Libra
• July 16: The Sun Squares almost everybody from Cancer (the Sun Squares Mars a few days later)

As if any combination of the The Sacred (Vesta) and Sustainability (Ceres) isn’t important, the involvement of the North Node means that new parts of our Mission in the Lifetime are coming into Consciousness.  Mars brings Energy and Excitement into this Renaissance.  And the Moon manifests it from Potential into Form. 

These Initiations span the Gemini and Cancer Duads of Libra, which imply that we as Individuals and as Cultures have worked our way through Social Self 1.0, Social Self 2.0, and Social Self 3.0, and we’re embarking on Social Self 4.0…

We’re bootstrapping a whole new way of doing business with Other (primarily Other People, but also any Entity other than what we habitually think of as Me and whom we habitually Defend as Me, which for most of us includes the Planet).  We’re basically starting over in July, rebuilding all of our Relationships on a very different footing, one based on Compassion.

Social Self 1.0 was based on Reaching Out (Libra), 2.0 on Barter (Capricorn), 3.0 on Excitement (Aries), and Social Self 4.0 will be based on Nurturance (Cancer).

The feet of the Vesta-Ceres Finger of Yod are Chiron (Despair, Impossibility, Miracles) and Venus (Beauty in every sense of the word, including Coherence)…

We can expect two things from this bootstrapping – Elegance, and Miracles.  Be very watchful here and in July for any sign of Despair, Cynicism, Skepticism, or any sense that something otherwise important is impossible.  When you catch yourself in Doubt or Disbelief,

Cancel, Neutralize, Upgrade.

Let me repeat that with emphasis, because it’s critical for the Planet.

There is something you Want very deeply.  Never give up on that; it’s one piece of the jigsaw puzzle called Planet Earth.  When you encounter any reason why it’ll never work, forget everything you know, quickly PIAVA Both/And, and Change the Subject.

Yintegrity

The other pole of the Core Issue is the work we’ve been doing since 2012 (since the 1960s really) on our Yintegrity.  To review…

Yintegrity means doing what we feel like doing, moment to moment.  Yangtegrity means doing what we said we were going to do – the traditional measure of Integrity in a male-dominated World.  In order to live in Yintegrity we probably have to reduce our Commitments, renegotiate broken Agreements, and make Amends when necessary.  Avoid Explaining yourself whenever possible.

Not hard to see the connection between our Yintegrity work and Sustaining what we hold Sacred.

Saturn tells us that maintaining our Yintegrity – not giving away our Power or allowing someone we Love (or someone we don’t) to have Suzerainty over us – is The Most Important Thing.  We’ll be continuing our re-examination of the Sustainability of our Deepest Values in the context of our Yintegrity, not the other way around.

When there appears to be a conflict between Yintegrity and the Sacred, it’s your understanding of the Sacred that needs to be renegotiated, remembering that Now we see through a glass darkly.

There abide Faith, Hope, and Charity, and the greatest of these is Charity – there is no Love without Self-Love, and Yintegrity is the purest form of Self-Love.  With reduced Commitments, Renegotiation, and Amends, Yintegrity is also the purest form of Other-Love, as it eschews deception on all levels.  Yes, it sounds like Chaos when you’re in Resistance or attached to the status quo, but the status quo is Unsustainable.

So what’s that upside-down T all about?

There is no planet at the upper right corner of the blue box in the picture above.  This is the 18-degrees-of-Virgo Vacancy that will draft you into serving the Collective version of the Yin Gate if you have a natal planet or other “hot spot” there.

Okay, this isn’t really a Yin Gate – it’s missing a foot!  To avoid discriminating against the disabled, we call the missing foot a Vacancy, and invite one and all to fill it with a token from their Nativity.  True, but we should put it this way too.  It takes six points in alignment to make a Yin Gate.  When we have five of the six points, the Yin Gate is there in Potential.  We manifest it into form by invoking the Vacancy.  We can do that in several ways.

We can find someone who has a planet or other hot astrospot close to the Vacancy; they’ll be sort of a living key for opening the Yin Gate.

We can look for an obscure asteroid or a fixed Star hanging out there, and cast the implied meaning of the ‘roid or Star as the key that opens the Gate.

We can look up the Degree of the Vacancy, discover its meaning, and supply that Energy Consciously.  The Sabian Symbol for 18 of Virgo is…

“A Ouija Board: the ability to contact deeper recesses of the unconscious psyche, and sensitivity to psychic intimations and omens.”   That certainly very much complements our work finding a Sustainable Sense of the Sacred, and dropping enough of our Masks to find our Yintegrity.  In fact, it’s probably necessary work for the task!  A prime purpose of the PIAVA process, embedded in the Pay Attention part of it, is to become sensitive to psychic intimations and omens – aka the Unconscious Surround that we haven’t differentiated into Consciousness yet.  Most especially our self-sabotaging Patterns.

When we write about the second element of the Full Moon chart we’ll see how incredible this actually is – the second element is dominated by a Finger of God and a Mjolnir (not just Pay Attention, but also Epiphanies) pointing at Juno, our symbol for the Edge of Consciousness.  And shitohdear, why does that Ouija Board sound familiar?  Because it’s the very degree of the Pluto-Uranus Initiation in 1965, the beginning of the Yintegrity Cycle we’ve been working on!

When we find corroborating evidence like this – several indications pointing in the same direction – we not only know we’re on the right track, but we know that it’s an especially profound process that we’re working on, as the Heavens are making sure we aren’t going miss it!

But it turns out there actually is something near 18 of Virgo in the Full Moon chart.  The upside-down “T” in the upper right corner of the blue box in the picture below is the symbol for a “Midpoint,” which is just a point halfway between two planets.

Midpoints are sensitive places in a chart where the Energies of the two planets are blended.  Obscure, yes (except perhaps in Germany where their study originated, at least in modern times), but also meaningful.

Earlier we referred to it as a “derivative of Lilith” – it’s the Midpoint between Lilith and Ceres.

These are some pretty fundamental Goddesses we’re working with here – Ceres or Diana, the Goddess of Grain; Vesta or Hestia, the Goddess of the Hearth (who was honored in ancient Greece before honoring Zeus and after honoring Zeus, giving you an idea of who was really important); and Lilith, the Goddess of Yindependence.  Nobody does Yintegrity without first learning Yindependence.

Feminine Power often works invisibly. 

Just as this particular representative of Lilith (we’ll soon encounter another) is “imaginary” or symbolic, Lilith is pulling strings from behind the curtain, through her Midpoint with her co-matriot Ceres.

The symbol we routinely use for Lilith Energy is the second center of the Moon’s orbit around the Earth.  The Moon’s orbit is an oval, and ovals have two centers.  One is the Earth.  The other is a place in the Heavens that we call Lilith.

There is a subtle intimation that you may not get your macaroni unless you respect Ceres – certainly it’s true that you won’t get fed psychically without seeking your Yintegrity.

Whew, that’s a lot!  And it’s only the first of four major themes in the Full Moon chart.  How could I summarize this?  I’d just say Wow!  Zowie!  This is Big!  If you’ve lost the plot, go back to the parts in red and burn them into your eyelids in a large font.
