Let’s Look at some of the Grace in the Chiron Station chart. The focus of each of the T-Squares (Challenges) is also a corner of a Grand Trine (Dumb-Luck Blessings), and each of the Grand Trines is also a Kite (Directed Dumb-Luck Blessings)…
A Trine, which is two planets four Signs apart (the long blue lines), means that the two planets Harmonize so well that we can, and usually do, take it for Granted. We’d do well to spend a bit of time in Gratitude for our natal and transiting (current-moment) Trines. Note that two planets with Meanings that seem very Contradictory can, and often do, Trine one another. The disadvantage of being a Language-based Species is that we inevitably Confuse the Words with their Referents.
♥ In the Grand Trine between Karma, Varuna, and Moon-Chiron, for instance, we might wonder how Self-Destructive Habits (one meaning for asteroid Karma) and Suffering (one interpretation of Moon-Chiron) can Harmonize with the Life Force (Varuna).
Lots of Opportunities there to Examine our Limiting Beliefs – which in itself is a Blessing. We might say that if we Discern what is Life-Sustaining from what is Life-Draining (Varuna) to Evaluate our Habits (Karma) to see which Habits we want to Reinforce and which we want to Extinguish, we will get Blessings from the Universe (Trine) to assist us, while this Trine is in effect.
It’s within three Degrees of Sensitivity (Strongest) from 20 June to 1 September, and Stronger yet when it’s Exact, around 7 July and 11 August, and during the several days prior to Karma’s 20 July Station.
We can often Ease difficult interpretations just by adding “Consciousness of” or “Awareness of” to the beginning of a not-so-positive meaning. For instance, we can interpret this Grand Trine as something on the order of…
At this time the Universe is Gifting us with Great Harmony between our Awareness of Self-Destructive Habit Patterns (Karma), our Consciousness of and Empathy with Suffering (Moon-Chiron), and our Appreciation of what’s Life-Affirming.
We might see the US’s European-Style Demonstrations about the Antichrist’s Abuse of Central American Children as an example of this. Demonstrations of this number and vigor are unusual for the US. In order to find a Compassionate view of the impact on the Kids, who will be scarred for Life, we may have to assume for instance that the Antichrist is Creating a generation of Che Gueveras. Mexico has already Responded by moving to the left. We may be able to avoid or postpone a Fourth Reich if the US follows suit.
The Long Game here resides in the Chiron-Varuna Trine, since asteroid Karma is here today and gone tomorrow. If only our Karma was so fickle. The Chiron-Varuna Trine is in and out of effect from May 2016 to January 2022, with it’s longest Sustained impact in 2018 (February to October) and 2019-20 (August 2019 to March 2020). It was Exact in April, and will be again on 16 August, then again in March and September 2019 and February 2020.
We’ve been using Suffering as an interpretation for Chiron because that’s how it usually Feels when we aren’t Conscious that we have Choice. Of course we usually prefer to look at Awareness of Suffering, and by extension Empathy and Compassion for Suffering, which is often Easily Created with a simple “Poor Sweetheart,” where we step outside of our Identification with Suffering and instead Identify with Compassion. If we’re ready to Dis-identify with Suffering, Poor-Sweethearting can Pixelate and Reorganize our Universe in a flash, usually so subtly that we barely Notice.
And of course Varuna can also mean Absence or Weakness in the Life Force. It’s easy to picture a Square between, say, asteroid Karma and Varuna, as Challenging us to Surrender our Life-Negating Habit Patterns. And don’t forget that Karma includes our Habit Patterns that Support our Path as well as those that Sabotage us.
This is a Fire Grand Trine, especially if we wait for a few minutes past the Exact Chiron Station, for the Moon to enter Aries. So our Blessings come directly from Spirit.

While the Grand Trine goes away after a while, it’s only our Limiting Beliefs that prevent us from Learning from it how to carry this Vibration with us henceforth. Try Meditating on a picture of your Self seated in the center of three ropes, one suspended between Self-Sabotage and Self-Support, one between Suffering and Miracles, and one between Regeneration and Decay, while three other people pull our chair toward Self-Support, Miracles, and Regeneration. How does that Feel in your Body?
♥ The other Grand Trine, in Earth, links Saturn-Pholus-Quaoar (The Most Important Thing is to Respond Fully to our Survival Instincts) with Ceres (Sustainability) and Juno-Uranus (our Soul Coming into Consciousness). Pholus hasn’t quite finished Sagittarius yet, so it’s unlikely to really get down to Work until October 2019, when it enters Capricorn “for good,” though we get a preview from December through next July. In Sagittarius it’s still Letting Go of Obsolete Responses, like the ones that our Programming Expected of us – which of course is Necessary before we can step through the Ring-Pass-Not.
The Biggie here is the Uranus-Quaoar Trine, which spans 2017 to 2021, off and on. This year it was Exact on 11 June, and will be again on 28 October. We can read this as our Soul telling us what we Need to Survive, or as the process of Clearing Impediments to same. For instance, if we were taught as kids to always be Nice, how would we have Reacted or Responded when told to board the train to Auschwitz? Of course in a case like that our Choice may have been to stop Surviving now or stop Surviving in a bit, but the Quaoar question is whether we’re even Aware of our Instincts about Surviving.
Since we don’t see Demonstrations yet about Climate Change with the Vigor that Officially-Sanctioned Child Abuse spawns, we can probably easily tally those who are in contact with their Survival Instincts by seeing who has and hasn’t moved to high ground.
This Grand Trine is telling us that, at this time…
Following (Pholus) Our Survival Instincts (Quaoar) is the most Reliable way (Saturn) for us to bring our Soul (Uranus) into our Awareness (Juno) Permanently (Ceres). In the context of a Chiron Station, which is all about Healing Suffering, the Suggestion is that Separation from our Soul is what has Created Suffering.
The Kite focuses the Energy toward OR10, or Intrusive Memories. The Suggestion is that these Memories may Lead us to the places where we have Separated from our Soul most Painfully. Especially since it’s in Pisces, as Pisces is about Finishing Unfinished Emotional Business.
