I always get Pluto and Goofy mixed up, but I guess it’s Pluto that Supervises our current post-Eclipse Portal, not Goofy. And I’m sure Pluto’s 1-2 May 2023 Station helped make the Eclipse Portal so Heavy. But we don’t want to Pre-Judge it.

Before we get too Deep, let’s take care of some minor details…

• Mercury turned Retrograde today 21 April 2023, at PDT 1:34 am, BST 9:34 am, IST 2:04 pm, AEST 6:34 pm, in 16 Taurus (The Compulsive Truth of Love). It backs up till 14-15 May, PDT 8:16 pm 14th, BST 4:16 am 15th, IST 8:46 am, AEST 1:16 pm, in 6 Taurus (Persistence at Opening the Heart). If you run into hiccups while Traveling or Communicating while Mercury is Retrograde, First, Recall that Mercury is Retrograde; Second, Say Hi to Mercury.
• He’s a Trickster, and he’s trying to get yer Goat. Don’t get Uptight (he’ll Love that!), just Chuckle and Wink, to let him know you’re Paying Attention and you’re on to him. He’s constantly Amused by Doing these Jokes (and Expects us to be Amused too). Doesn’t matter to him whether you Fall For It or not, he just Loves Doing it. If everybody’s Chuckling, he’s having a Great Day! Every time I’ve Waved and Winked (like this morning when my ATM ran out of money), he’s Winked back and immediately showed me a Workaround. He’s not Malicious.

• The Moon Goes Out of Bounds North 22-23 April, at PDT 9:50 am 22nd, BST 5:50 pm 22nd, IST 10:20 pm 22nd, AEST 2:50 am 23rd, in 4 Gemini, Compulsively Drawn Toward the Ephemeral. Folks on the Northern Half of the Planet are more likely to Panic than they were yesterday. The Moon Returns In Bounds on 27-28 April, PDT 2:59 pm 27th, BST 10:59 pm 27th, IST 3:29 am 28th, AEST 7:59 am 28th, in 8 Leo, A Charmed Life, Proud of Surrendering to Spirit, but Modest in Recognizing that Grace is Spirit’s Work, Not Yours. Be Alert for Hurtful Jealousy.

Now, where were we? Oh yeah, we were just about to join Pluto…

Pluto’s a Big Deal to most astrologers, and appropriately so. It’s always been the Poster Child for the then-current State of the Weltanschauung of Society. We interpret it as mapping what Jung called the Universal Unconscious. In Jung’s view there were three overlapping major layers of the Unconscious – the Individual (Uranus), the Cultural (Neptune), and the Universal (Pluto). That still works…

• Uranus finished an 84-year Cycle and entered Aries when Linear Time ended in 2012. Aries is Creative Spirit. Spirit is In Charge, with Ego dragged along behind it on its ass. Aries is quite Prideful, so Ego is Puffed Up, but poke it once and it’ll Blubber all over about how Lost it Feels. Uranus got to Taurus in 2020, hand in hand with COVID. Taurus is Well Grounded, and with Ego Humiliated by now, it’s a lot Easier for the Soul to Connect. We often refer to Uranus in Taurus as Soul Descending into Matter. COVID gave us the Space to Integrate it, to the extent that we have.

• In 2026, Uranus moves into Gemini. At that point Ego gets a rude Awakening – just as it Feels like it’s starting to Understand what’s going on, Soul ups the Frequency several Octaves, and the best the Ego can do is to Hold On for “Dear Life” – another excellent reason to get Expert at Recognizing and Surrendering into Ego Death now while it’s a lot Easier than it will be then. The last time Uranus was in Gemini was 1943-1949. Folks who Survived WWII were forced to Start Over in a Culture that they had to Create themselves from scratch. If we can Trust the Process and our Support and get Excited about this Opportunity, 2027-2033 will be Fantastic.

• At the End of Time as We Knew It, Neptune was just leaving Aquarius and moving into Pisces. Neptune (Material Confusion but Spiritual Clarity) Loves Pisces. Anyone else think your Culture’s gotten more Confused since 2012? Or more Confusing? Obviously, lots of folks have gotten a lot more Certain than Confused. Hope they Enjoy themselves while they can – the only Certain Future for Certainty is Martyrdom.

• When I was Learning that Confusion is the First Sign of Growth, I Discovered that whenever I Felt Confused, I automatically switched to Anger. I assume that many of the Abusive people that crawl the Internet looking for Opportunities to Act Out the Big-Ego Bullying that they learned from TV, or drive about looking for an excuse to shoot somebody (like they learned from TV), are also using Anger as Cover for their Ego’s lack of Experience with Confusion, as they find Scapegoats for their Childhood and Karmic Powerlessness.

• Neptune gets to Aries in 2026, as Uranus enters Gemini. The Ego’s hardest job in Aries lies in dealing with the Culture’s Insistence that one Explain Oneself. The only way Aries can do that, is to make something up, because most of what Aries Does is more nD than its Actor or its Inquisitors. So in addition to becoming Expert at Ego Death over the next three years, we want to be sure that by then we’re very good at Embracing Confusion as the Sign that we need to Shut Up and Listen, and that we need to drop our Old Stories and Open to New Metaphors. And Realize that Reality, which has so many more Dimensions than we do, is Way Over Our Heads. From our Perspective, Metaphor Is All There Is.

• By the time Uranus is firmly in Gemini and Neptune firmly in Aries, Pluto will be entering the Aries Segment or Duad (a Duad is 2½ Degrees) of Aquarius, so very few people will be able to Explain What’s Going On. We will need to be Thinking Globally, in the sense of Paying Attention to What’s Good for the Planet, and Acting Locally, in the sense of Attending to the Survival of our Community.

The Avarice of Faceplant and Gargoyle may have Killed the Internet and Journalism by then anyway, but we need to start now breaking our Habit of Hanging on Every Word from the For-Profit Minia. Most of the Minia is owned by the Oligarchs, and they want us Scared and Confused so we don’t Feel Empowered to Threaten them.

We don’t want to Exclude the Possibility of Miracles, but barring that, when we Project current trends, the Worldwide Suffering will be too intense and widespread to reasonably comprehend, and our own Community will Require All of our Attention. The more Local we can keep our Attention, the higher the probability we will personally Encounter Miracles.

While we Manifest Surthrival for Ourself, even if it’s totally in Private, it Strengthens the Etheric Template that anyone can use to Create their own Surthrival. There is no Healing without Empathy, but Empathy for Yourself and Your Own Community need to come first. The only thing you can Change is Yourself. You can Pray for whatever you want, but Praying for someone else to Change to your view of how they Should be, even if it’s “for their own good” or “for the good of All,” is contrary to this Planet’s Emphasis on Free Will. Pray for General Conditions that will make your Surthrival Easier. Other people with similar Needs can use the Etheric Template of what you Create for their own Purposes.

Beyond Pluto

Pluto gains its Power over the Universal Realm of the Unconscious because it lies deep within the Unconscious. However, so do a lot of other dwarf planets that have been Discovered since Pluto was. Each one is associated with a Segment of the Monolithic Unconscious that Pluto Represents. When a dwarf planet’s orbit is fairly well understood, it’s assigned a Minor Planet Number. Of the more than 3,000 dwarf planets beyond Neptune that have been found so far, 900 have received numbers. So we depend less on Pluto than we used to, though it’s still very useful as an Overview of the Weltanschauung.

The 1-2 May Station of Pluto (Emphasis on our Compulsions) occurs at 10:08 am PDT 1st, 6:08 pm BST 1st, IST 10:38 pm 1st, AEST 3:08 am 2nd, in 1 Aquarius, Intense Idenification with Both Sides of an Argument, One Conscious the Other Less So; Resolution Depends on the Demise of Judgment, adjacent to the Fixed Star Altair, Bold but not Selfish Action.

The Pluto Station chart is otherwise pretty Benign. The only real Challenge (a Naked Square) – the Argument in the Chandra Symbol – is between Our Fear that Hupers Won’t Learn Enough in Time to Prevent a Repeat of Atlantis (Sedna-Juno-Atlantis Stellium) and Our Need and Willingness to Seek Divine Help in Taking Full Ownership of Our Karma (Magdaena-Damocles-Karma Stellium). These both being Stellia, they represent Mini-Enlightenments and therefore could represent the Integration and Healing of such Fear and such Need/Willingness. Interesting Combination.

The Pluto Station itself, part of a Grand Cross (Sequence of Relatively Minor Hassles that Resolve One Another eventually, especially if we can Avoid 2D Intervention) is Merged with Prevarication (asteroid Pinocchio) – interesting in the context of the Fox-Dominion and Trump-Rape Victim trials, not to mention the general Shitstorm of Rightwing Conspiracies and Imaginative Paranoid Metaphors.¹

Hylonome (Codependence and Self-Sovereignty), which itself is Stationary (Strong) 27-28 April (PDT 5:40 pm 27th, BST 1:40 am 28th, IST 6:10 am 28th, AEST 10:40 am 28th) in 26 Capricorn (Confusing Assignment to Camouflage Ourself as Fitting into Muggle Culture while Hiding the Eternal Flame Inside, while being only Dimly Aware of the Purpose of our Assignment), is also a member of this Pluto-Pinocchio-Hylonome Stellium. The Hylonome (Bowing to Social Expectations on the Outside) and Pinocchio (A Charade) Explain one another’s presence in the Pluto Stellium and Explain the 26-Capricorn Chandra Symbol – we’re all Pretending to be Normal while Being Radical as Hell Inside!²

In the Hylonome Station chart itself, a Fully Self-Resolving Major Challenge shuttles Tension and Attention to Our Recollection of the Fall of Atlantis from an Argument between what seems to be the Outragousness of our Karma, and Our Enlightenment. Meanwhile, in both charts, the Crux of our astroevent, Our Muggle Charade, Enjoys Dumb-Luck Grace (Grand Trine) with Our Recollection of the Fall of Atlantis and with Emphasis on Sustainability.³

If your Self-Sabotaging Habits are Sticky, try Soothing yourself with Blue Calcite, either Vicariously by Gazing at the picture, or picking up a Tumbled Stone or two at your local Rockshop. Calcite is Calcium Carbonite, like your bones, teeth, and the shell of the Crab you ate last night, even if it wasn’t a Blue Crab. It’s more often “Massive” (like Granite) than Crystalline (like Quartz), but you might find some poorly formed or partial Crystals.

We’re starting to see why folks from around the Universe – Pleiades, Arcturus, Andromeda, et al, not to mention the more Etheric Realms – have been trying to talk sense into Hupers. Solar Outbursts are increasing in frequency, strength, and unpredictability. They’re more than capable of wiping out Electrical Grids¹ and Computing Networks on the Sunward side of the Earth if the Planet doesn’t take precautions to prevent it (mostly shutting down Power to hardware so Surges aren’t routed through the equipment). The old Patriarchic adage “All’s Fair in Love and War” obviously still holds, as NASA believes itself to be defending its Home. Hupers may never find Peace till they Accept Death as a natural part of Life, which means Accepting Ego Death as a natural part of Ego. An Ego Death is a Molt.

When a Crab Molts, as he does annually, he has to laboriously wriggle out of his old exoskeleton, pulling each leg and claw out of his old shell as he frees his body. King Crab males molt first, then graciously hold a female’s old shell while she wriggles out. It takes several days for a Crab’s new shell to harden, during which time, as a tasty naked morsel, he’s very vulnerable…

You can see how Ancient our Karmic Fear of Ego Death is. In 3D Linear Time, Crabs have been around for 500 million years, Hupers less than 10. In the 3D Linear view of Evolution, which is based on hardcopy Fossils and intellectual extrapolations from theories about how Genes work, Crabs and Hupers are on different Branches of the Tree. But if you approach it from the Respect-for-All-Things Hopi Perspective, and take into account that we’re still in the Field where many Pantheistic planets are Lit Up,² and that our Multidimensional Intuition is Lit Up Brilliantly as we speak,³ you’ll quickly Remember that Crabs are our Brothers and Sisters – as are Stingrays. The Asbolus-Chaos Stations Oppose the recent Stations of Icarus-Ixion (both Out of Bounds) and Pholus-Quaoar. That Opposition is Squared by the Opposition between Jupiter in 4 Aries (Playful and Exuberant True Self When Liberated – Till then, Nobody) and asteroid Hopi Out of Bounds in 2 Libra (Drawn into the Mysteries, Terrifying to Ego but Exhilarating to Soul, with Potential to Transform the World ), the latter Conjunct the 25 September New Moon in 3 Libra (Passionate yet Detached about a Unitary Future No One Else Can See).

The Moon moves Out of Bounds (Hupers get more Anxious than usual ) over the Southern Hemisphere at 8:46 am PDT 30 September (4:46 pm BST 30th, 1:46 am AEST 1 October), until 3:39 pm PDT 4 October (11:39 pm BST 4th and 8:39 am AEST 5th). The Moon spans 7 Sagittarius to 8 Aquarius while Out of Bounds, crossing many Lit-Up planets in the process.⁴ (Continuing on the other side of Purple.)

In between our Opportunity to Practice our Intuition SuperPower and/or Let Go of Our Resistance to it (Station of OOB Asbolus 29 September) and our Opportunity to Move into our Unlimited Potential and/or Let Go of Our Resistance to it (Chaos Station 2 October), we get a Splendid Opportunity to Adjust the Balance between our Self-Sovereignty and our Codependence and/or Let Go of Any Inertia We Have to Over-Emphasize Either (Station of dwarf planet Hylonome 8:28 am PDT 30 September, which is 4:28 pm BST 30 September and 1:28 am AEST 1 October).

Well, it’s not really “in between,” since all three are Merged into One Experience, though our Sovereignty Challenges and SuperPowers may be a bit more Prominent in between. We should probably refer instead to our Opportunity to Practice our SuperPower of Intuiting the Exact Balance between Self-Sovereignty and Codependence that Will Best Facilitate Our Moving Into Our Unlimited Potential and/or Let Go of Our Resistance to it, Moment to Moment. We could well be Practicing Our SuperPower AND Letting Go of Our Resistance at the same time, if we’re well Practiced at Noticing Our Karmic Patterns.

While what we Learn this coming weekend may be a series of One-Time things, the Boon derives from Exercising these SuperPowers and Letting-Go Skills Moment to Moment into the Future. Bear in mind that Tigger may not always make the best Decisions. We’re always in Danger of Overextending our Growth and end up taking one step forward and three steps backwards. If we Shatter the Ego instead of Stretching it, we have to Stop Everything and Reassemble a Functioning Ego. That’s not Optional, the Ego is not our Enemy, it’s our Protector.

Reassembling a Functioning Ego from scratch is of course an Opportunity, and many of us have that as a SuperPower or we wouldn’t be where we are (for instance, when natal Pluto Strongly Impacts the Nodal Axis), but it’s seldom Fun unless you’re Really Good at Cosmic Humor. In a way, Dr. Joe’s Imagine Yourself as Nothing is a Gentle way to Crack Open the Ego so we can start over with less Karmic Baggage. But if you’ve ever started to Freak Out while doing Heavy Meditations, you want to have a talented Guide not far away. Kesey’s Observation that “You Can Trip Out so Far that You Never Get Back to Know that You’ve Left” is Real, and since Real Growth involves Growing Beyond Social Conventions, the Edge between Enlightenment and Insanity can be as thin as whether or not you “get caught.” Just ask the Salem Witches.

The chart for our Splendid Opportunity to Adjust the Balance between our Self-Sovereignty and our Codependence and/or Let Go of Any Inertia We Have to Over-Emphasize Either (30 September Station of dwarf planet Hylonome) looks like this…

I’m sure the first thing you’ll Notice is the two adjacent light green Xs in the middle of the chart – a Yin Gate or Mystery School, Offering us the Opportunity to Blank Out Everything We Think We Know about the Central Axis, assign it the Status of Paradox, and Open our Mind and Heart to Learning about it. The Paradox? Between Codependence or Self-Sovereignty on one hand (dwarf planet Hylonome in Capricorn) and Self-Sovereignty or Codependence on the other (Black Moon Lilith in Cancer)! Sounds like one of Gollum’s riddles, don’t it. Well, the two symbols are quite different actually, we just shortcut their Interpretation the same way.

Hylonome Killed herself with the same spear that Killed her Lover, the Ultimate in Codependence, or Loyalty, depending on how you look at it. She may have been watching his Soul depart, and Chose to accompany it to their next Adventure together. Lilith on the other hand was Adam’s first wife. When Adam made it clear that he was Da Bossman, she Laughed heartily and Left for the Coast, leaving God to have to make Adam a new Wife from one of his ribs. The Patriarchic Religious Media promptly made Lilith into a Demon that Curses men, and erased her Presence from the Orchard of Eden. So Lilith represents Self-Sovereignty quite strongly, and Codependence only because it could be the other side of her Coin, while Hylonome, if we take a Materialist Western European Psychological view of Relationship, really personifies Codependence, and Sovereignty only because it could be the other side of her Coin.

I don’t think Self-Sovereignty is the only Obverse of Codependence, I’m sure there are many other options, especially when you consider the issue from other Perspectives on Relationship. Those other Obverses could be a major key to the Paradox, so I’ll leave them for you to Conjure and Contemplate. We could also riff on the Signs – Hylonome being Practical and Down to Earth (Capricorn), and Lilith being Nurturing and Emotional (Cancer). The other big Clue to the Paradox is the chart’s most important T-Square, the red triangle pointing at asteroid Narcissus (Self-Obsession or Self-Appreciation). I think the Condition of our Self-Love could be the Crux of the Paradox. Everybody has a natal asteroid Narcissus, but except for the devotees of a certain ex-president, most of us are not Sociopaths or Psychopaths, so we know that asteroid Narcissus means a lot more than DSM-5 NPD. I often interpret the asteroid when it’s Lit Up as a Reminder not to regard Self-Love as Selfish.

The Narcissus T-Square is triply Self-Resolving – (1) Converted by the green-wedge Finger of the Goddess to a Diamond Star, (2) Enhanced by Narcissus being a corner of a blue-equilateral-triangle Grand Trine, and (3) Mutually Complementary with the other two T-Squares because the Grand Trine links Narcissus positively with one side of the base of each of the other two T-Squares. It’s still a T-Square, ie, it will include Challenges, but the Challenges will, if left to their own devices, turn out to balance each other. For instance, you may Encounter a painful Experience that turns out to be the Abolition of a nasty Karmic Self-Sabotage Habit. The SuperPower involves Enhancement of Our Unconditional Self-Love. That is, if you avoid Intervening to “correct” the apparent Challenges, you can end up with Less Judgment and more Self-Acceptance, for both whatever Codependence you Accept as Useful, and for whatever Self-Sovereignty seems Most Desirable or Powerful.

The Key is a Searching and Fearless Inventory of your Self-Judgments. Considering the importance of Compensation in Psychlogy, Tapping would probably be a Powerful Tool to use here, to Align your Ideas about yourself with your Body’s Reality. For instance, a definition of Narcissist includes Inflated Self-Importance with Low Self-Esteem – sounds like a Paradox for sure, but we can see it clearly in our Classical ex-President example – a Blowhard with a strong Compensatory need to Punish those who won’t genuflect. His Belief in his own Power to Punish Compensates for his Low Self-Esteem.

The other two T-Squares are not Self-Resolving (no Finger), but they are Enhanced (by the Grand Trine). The Foci are Uranus (Soul ) and Nemesis (Guilt ). The Challenges to Soul are most profound, from a base of a “My God, I’ll Never Get to Enlightenment, the Krap Just Keeps Coming!” Voice (asteroids Samadhi-Sisyphus) Arguing with a Preacher Reminding us that The Most Important Thing is to Keep Expanding Our Consciousness – it’s not how many times we fall down that counts, it’s how many times we get back up! (Saturn-Stationary Vesta), with the latter on the corner of the Narcissus Grand Trine. The SuperPower is about Counseling the Hupers who are Discouraged and who Focus on the Death Throes of the Patriarchy rather than Focusing on the Bright Light Rising Behind It.

The Guilt Challenges are between Expired Karma (asteroid Atropos) which is hard to Let Go Of because it is so Familiar, and Active and Passionate Support for Gaia’s Mission to Ascend (Mars-Stationary Out of Bounds Altjira). Again its the latter corner that has the Support of the Narcissus Grand Trine. The SuperPower is about Reminding Others that they No Longer Need to Lend Their Strength to That Which They Wish To Be Free From, to quote Jewell…

In addition to all that we’ve mentioned above,⁵ Mercury goes Direct 2:07 am PDT 2 October (10:07 am BST, 7:07 pm AEST). That should Improve Communication and Travel.

Ending Codependence?

The chart of the 9 July 2021 New Moon (6:16 pm PDT, in 19 Cancer) is another of those rare “simple” – or Intensely Focused charts…

The 8 July Station of asteroid Sappho (Self-Love), and the several other July Stations that occur in the same Degree Zone, depict a very Strong Rebirth (dwarf planet Haumea), as we upgrade our Self-Love by several to many notches. The 9 July New Moon confirms it, as the New Moon Challenges (Squares) asteroid Klotho (New Beginnings), named for the Greek Goddess who was in charge of “cutting the Cloth” on which a whole new batch of Karmic Tapestry will be woven. Karma, recall, can be “Good” or “Bad,” relative to our Perspective, so a whole new batch of it can be glorious, especially when it involves a big Upgrade in our Self-Love.

In fact, Karma is Neutral. It’s all just Experience, and Experience is what we came here for. If the Habit Patterns we bring with us into the Lifetime are agreeable to the Ego, we consider it “Good” Karma. If it Challenges the Ego and our Consciousness to Grow, then we consider it to be “Bad” Karma. It’s the Ego that decides whether Karma is “Good” or “Bad” (or even “Earned” or “Curricular”), depending on what the Ego is ready to tackle.

In this particular case, it’s our Unhealed Codependence (dwarf planet Hylonome) that can make the next few weeks (the usual timescale for the influence of a New Moon) feel like “Bad” Karma (Klotho T-Squared by the Opposition from Hylonome to the New Moon). And conversely, it’s our Self-Sovereignty (Hylonome) that will make the Karma seem Helpful.

In such a spacious chart, every little thing takes on huge proportions. The only Bridge across the T-Square (or “shortcut across the Challenge”) is a Quincunx Bridge (the green lines). A Quincunx connects planets that are five Signs apart, and it’s meaning is Curiosity. Not the kind of Curiosity that take us to the encyclopedia or our local Sage, but the kind that drops our jaw and puts us in Awe. We could even say Awesome Curiosity. Curiosity, like Confusion, is an Authentic Emotion. Rather than seeking Cause or Blame, Authentic Emotions need to just be Felt and Experienced. Curiosity and Confusion are Powerful Emotions because they lead us beyond the Ego into uncharted territory.

Which is precisely why we want to Explain them, so we don’t get lost in the Wilderness, which would be Scary. But the Wilderness is the only place where we can Expand our Consciousness and Grow as a Huper. So if we Aspire to Enlightenment or 5D, we need to retrain any tendency we have to want to Explain everything. It Is What It Is, and it Asks to be Appreciated for being exactly that, no more and no less. Feel it in your Body and then Let It Go. Since undefined Curiosity and Confusion Frighten the Ego, we can retrain ourself using the same techniques we use for Fear – Fear (or Confusion/Curiosity) plus Breathing equals Excitement, Fear plus Grounding equals Clarity, Fear plus Kegels equals Power. And especially, Changing the Subject when the Mind wants to intercede, squeezing your New Experience into your old Birdcage, and Canceling your Opportunity for Growth.

We’re thinking, this is only a New Moon, it only lasts a couple of weeks, it’s not such a Big Deal, but in the context of the Sappho Station’s Suzerainty over the month of July, it is obviously an adjunct of our Self-Love Adventures – Self-Love and Codependence can be contentious companions.

And, we need to look at it this way… The 13 July Conjunction of Venus and Mars, which begins a New 2½-year Cycle in the all-important Relationship between our Inner Male and our Inner Female, in the process Reconfiguring all of our external Relationships with other people. When all is Right with the World, our Inner Female holds our Values, and instructs our Inner (and Outer) Male on how to Work toward Building a Life based on them. When we aren’t in touch with our Inner Female, we constantly shoot ourselves in the feet, because we don’t know our own Values. When we aren’t in touch with our Inner Male, we don’t get much done. Fulfillment is an estranged Emotion in both situations.

Well, if we take this 9 July New Moon chart, and erase the Moon, we have exactly the chart for the 13 July Initiation of the New 2½-year Venus-Mars Cycle. So we’re stuck with this chart for a lot longer than two weeks, and every other person we meet will be reminding us of this, and every misalignment between our Values and our Actions will be rubbing our face in this chart. Bottom Line, every Endeavor we attempt to Begin (Klotho) will be screwed up by our Codependence (Hylonome), and every Endeavor will end up being a Renegotiation of our Self-Sovereignty. If you’ve ever been in Relationship with someone who really doesn’t understand Who You Are, or with someone whom you don’t really Understand, and/or a Relationship overflowing with Brutal Arguments, you well know what I’m talking about.

To embellish this, there are two other Significant Elements in these two charts…

First, Venus-Mars is joined by asteroid Atropos (Karma that Expires on its own). So your Relationships will be Entirely New, and none of your old Relationship Habits will work. You won’t know that until you try to exercise them and they fail utterly. When you try to Show Off, you’ll end up with a lot of Egg on your face – which is actually Great for the Ego, because it’ll be reminded frequently of its proper role as your Survival Manager, rather than the role it’s used to playing as your Marketing VP. Get used to it.

And second, this Initiation is in Leo. Leo is the Culmination of the Individual. This means that the only way you’ll get any Relationship to function well during this Cycle, is to Fully and Completely Respect one another’s Self-Sovereignty. If you’re a Judgmental-type person, and especially if you Believe you know the difference between Right and Wrong for others, your Relationships will head straight for the Toilet. Here’s a two-minute tutorial in what will work (called “SP” in the quote) and what won’t (“SJ”), from David Keirsey’s Please Understand Me II (pp.18-19)…

• “SPs probe around their immediate surroundings in order to detect and exploit any favorable options that come within reach. Having the freedom to act on the spur of the moment, whenever or wherever an opportunity arises, is very important to SPs. No chance is to be blown, no opening missed, no angle overlooked – whoever or whatever might turn out to be exciting, pleasurable, or useful is checked out for advantage.”
• “SJs, like SPs, observe their close surrounding with a keen eye, but for an entirely different reason, namely that of scheduling their own and others’ activities so that needs are met and conduct is kept within bounds. Thus for SJs, everything should be in its proper place, everybody should be doing what they’re supposed to, everybody should be getting their just desserts, every action should be closely supervised, all products thoroughly inspected, all legitimate needs promptly met, all approved ventures carefully insured.”

Of course, exceptions are many. A Guilt-laden or Shame-laden “SP” who hasn’t Healed their Codependence will be a perfect match for an SJ. Two “SJs” can get along great if their Values mostly overlap – or if they follow the same external Authority and can agree on most interpretations. I don’t think it’s Coincidence that it’s easy to profile the Patriarchy and certain Political party adherents into the “SJ” category. We might expect “SJs” to display Dysfunction or cluster into tight cults over the next 2½ years.

In addition to the chart of the Initiation of a New Cycle, the other major way to guess what the Cycle might be about, is the “Sabian Symbol” (a Channeled reading for each of the 360 Degrees of the Zodiac) of the Degree of the Initiation. The Sabian Symbol for 20 Leo is “Zuni Indians perform a ritual to the Sun: A return to the glorification of natural energies.” Since Ritual (the Second Harmonic) is the Realm of the SJs, this will Create an interesting Dynamic, as the SPs and the SJs need one another.

Sovereignty Fortnight

For an asteroid Klotho (New Beginnings) astroevent (Stationary 7 June 2021 9:24 am PDT in 18 Gemini), that was a tough Portal. The astrology itself was fairly benign…

Recall that we interpret a Grand Cross – the big red square – as Mostly Complementary Hassles that Take Care of Themselves as Long as We Don’t Try to Meddle and Screw Them Up – so I have to conclude that the Universe was Clearing Away the Identities and Protections that we no longer need so we’d be more Open for the next several Portals. It was also a prelude to the 10 June (3:52 am PDT in the same 18 Gemini) Annular Solar Eclipse, which has an unusually “simple” chart…

I wouldn’t Expect a “simple” chart to be Easy – I’d be more likely to Expect it to be Focused and Intense, which goes a long way to Explain last weekend’s difficult Portal. At the Klotho Station, it Challenged (Squared) dwarf planet Hylonome, which is all about Self-Sovereignty and Codependence. And now, at today’s Eclipse of the Sun, asteroid Aletheia moves into place to make it a Big Challenge (T-Square). Aletheia is about The Truth of the Heart, the things we’re Born Knowing to be True.

We can Reinterpret these Truths, but unlike “Facts” or Truths of the Mind, they aren’t Open for Debate. For instance, suppose we were born Knowing that the Hupers on this Planet are Really Screwed Up and we Have to Help! Then we might Interpret it as We Have to Save those Kids in the Tunnels. Or we might Interpret it in another Moment as We Have to Stop Burning Fossil Fuels, because Rising Sea-Levels will Drown Everybody in the Tunnels!

The definition of a Fundamentalist is someone who Takes Their Metaphors Literally. So if we don’t Realize that the Tunnels are a Metaphor for Hupers on this Planet are Really Screwed Up, what a load of Energy we’ll waste till we discover that the Tunnels are a Metaphor, and probably a Metaphor for the Abuse we Suffered in our own Childhood. Abuse is next weekend’s Portal, as dwarf planet Nessus (Abuse and Privilege) is Stationary at 5:03 am 14 June in 16 Pisces, barely beyond our 3-Degree Sensitivity (Orb) for the Eclipse.

What’s hard to Realize, is that the Universe is Unitary and Multifarious, while our Senses are Limited to 2D Judgments and a few Perspectives (such as Matter, Emotion, Thought, Energy). So we Forget that in Reality it’s All Metaphor because a Unitary and Multifarious Reality is basically Ineffable. Like the seven blind folks and the Elephant, we have precious few Tools to separate our Metaphors from the Essence of our Heart-Truths.

And this Eclipse is one of those tools! The blue lines in the Eclipse chart form a Bridge of Grace (Trine Bridge) across the Big Challenge (T-Square), and the blue lines point to the Eclipse, joined by Mentality and Communication (Mercury). Eclipses represent Illumination, because we’re suddenly Conscious of what’s Missing, that we’ve always taken for granted (like the Birdsong that Stops Cold when the Sunlight weakens).

Full and New Moons usually represent the goings-on over the following several weeks, so we can Expect to be Illuminated about Abuse and Self-Sovereignty over the rest of June.

Limits, Sovereignty, Energy

This is a busy week…

As we’ve mentioned, the Moon was Stationary at 25:33 North on 18 April 2021 (9:02 am PDT), and will continue to be Out Of Bounds till 20 April (4:53 am PDT), so we’re likely to be Feeling Intensely. If we have our Attention on the Content of our Thoughts about our Feelings, we won’t even notice that we’re Feeling more intensely. So don’t. Our Thoughts about our Feelings are pure Bullshit. They’re the toxic result of our Linear 3D Brainwashing. Focus on what you’re actually Feeling (btw, “Feeling Like…” is a Thought!), and your Emotion will whisper in your Ear (or your Belly or your Inner Eyeballs, or however you usually get your Intuitions) Everything you need to know, and it will be a Complete Unitary Multidimensional Both/And Hologram, though if you’re stuck in Either/Or, Cause-and-Effect, Linear-Thought Prison, it will take some practice. Start now.

On 19 April (3:30 am PDT), Mercury moves from Aries to Taurus, so those Soaring, Exciting, Mind-Stretching, Limit-Shattering Creative Thoughts you’ve been having for the last two weeks while Mercury was in Aries will likely devolve into Logistics and more Practical Matters for the next two weeks while Mercury crosses Taurus. If you haven’t already, take notes about your Soaring, Exciting, Mind-Stretching, Limit-Shattering Creative Thoughts, so you don’t lose track of them while you’re descending back into Matter. You’ll get a relapse of Creativity next weekend, when Mercury crosses Uranus. It would be great if we can use this span to start doing Logistics about what we’ve been Dreaming on, rather then getting stuck in mundane Logistics like Taxes.

The primary Energy we’re in now is about Breakthroughs in our Unconscious Limitations, as asteroid Vesta (Unconscious Limitations) Shines Brightly (Stationary) till at least 20 April (12:08 am PDT, in 7 Virgo). So if we put this in the Mercury in Aries-Taurus context, those Soaring, Exciting, Mind-Stretching, Limit-Shattering Creative Thoughts were about what you’ll be able to Do or Be once you’ve Transcended your Karmic Unconscious Limitations. Now you can take a few concrete steps to bring that sort of Liberation into your Everyday Life.

After 20 April, we’ll be dealing with the people who don’t Want us the Change, as dwarf planet Hylonome (Codependence and Self-Sovereignty) is Lit Up (Stationary) till 8:51 pm PDT 22 April (in 20 Capricorn). Who We Are to other people is an Imaginary Character that fits into their Plot. When we start to shed Limitations, that can Shake Up their sense of Stability. For them it’s an Ego Death, just as we’re Unsettled when a good friend no longer Acts the way we Expect them to, because we’re used to thinking That’s Who They Are. Actually, they’re a Shimmering Many-Colored Light (as we are), they aren’t How We Think They Are or “Should” Be at all. Our friends will likely be shedding Limits too, so we may be as Upset by their Changes as they are by ours.

Which brings us to Mars. Mars represents Action, but folks – either them or us or more likely both – who focus on the contents of their Thoughts about What They’re Feeling can oh-so-Easily drop into Blame, and Actions become Attacks on Other People because our Thoughts justify Blaming them for “Causing” our Negative Emotions. And their Thoughts justify Blaming us for “Causing” their Negative Feelings, and the whole thing spirals up into an Anger Party. Our Emotional Reactions are more Karmic than Present-Moment, so unless we had a big blow-up over who speared that Deer when we shared a Lifetime in the Pleistocene, there no sense in which anybody in our Present-Moment Life “Causes” our Feelings. That’s all part of our Either/Or, Cause-and-Effect, Linear-Thought Bullshit Brainwashing, the same Washing that’s Destroying what’s left of our Garden of Eden.

Mars, Out of Bounds since 21 March and until 25 May, Stands Still at 24:54 Degrees North on 22 April (3:05 pm PDT, while it’s at 30 Gemini), as it reaches its Max OOB and turns to head back toward the Equator. So everything Mars will be Exaggerated – Action, Anger, Frustration, Impatience, Execution (of a plan), and just about anything Assertive or Active.

So, there will be people who we barely Recognize because they’ve Changed, and people who barely Recognize us because we’ve Changed, everyone will be having a mini (or maxi) Ego Death, everyone will be spoiling to pick a fight before they even find out how “you’re Abandoning them” by no longer subscribing to the same Limitations that you bonded over.

A “Secret” to Peaceful Community is the same as the “Secret” to Letting Go of Karma – make it Conscious so you can Choose an Alternative. No better time to practice that, than when you’re Feeling Anger. In the average Confrontation, we need to let them talk enough so that we Understand their Values and Motives in the situation, and they need to let us talk enough so that they Understand our Values and Motives. That allows us to think about ways in which we might Help them Achieve their Goals without Giving Up our own Goals. And if this mutual story-telling allows them to think about ways in which they might Help us Achieve our Goals without Giving Up their own goals, it’s Win-Win.

The bottom-line rule in Win-Win negotiating, is that if you’re playing Win-Win, and your Opposite is playing Win-Lose, you always Lose. Trust but Verify. At the moment, asteroids Eurydike (Trust ) and Veritas (“Just the Facts, Ma’am” ) are closely Trine (Four Signs apart, signifying Dumb-Luck Blessings – it’s called a Trine because Four Signs is a Third of the Zodiac), which means you don’t want to get Arrogant about how swimmingly Trust is working for you, or soon it likely won’t be.

In your Self-Talk toward Consciousness, “I Feel Anger” works a lot better than “I Am Angry.” I Am Angry is an expression of Identity – you and Anger are the Same. That’s what “Am” means. To be Conscious of Anger, we need to be at least one step back from it, and I Feel Anger expresses that Separation.

“I Feel Angry about…” is always Bullshit, except when what follows is a complete list of all of the episodes in which I ever Felt anger, in all of my Lifetimes. Anger is an Emotion. Emotions were here before we ever were. They’re a Field of their own. They aren’t “ours,” they’re something that we Experience. They’re Primordial. Sure, we can stumble into “I Am Blame” easily enough (probably Unconsciously), and point any Emotion at someone or something, as we do with Love and Lust and Grief and Joy.

You’ve Felt Anger before. Do you Feel much differently in one episode than you do in the others? Probably not. Mostly, Anger is Anger. So why do we want to point Emotions at someone else. Because in those moments Anger Is Us. Next time it Rains, see if you can Be the Rain, and look back at your bedraggled former self. How does it Feel to Be Rain? You might Merge with Rain for a minute, but mostly you’ll know that you and Rain aren’t really Identical, you were just sharing a Moment.

Compare that kind of Relationship to the Relationship we have with Anger. We don’t have to Ask how it Feels to be Anger, we’ve all been there many times. When we Are Anger, there’s no Separation between Us and Anger. If someone tried to remind us that we’ll be fine in the morning, we’d probably step even deeper into Anger.

It’s natural for people with prominent planets or Angles in the Water Signs to Identify with Emotions, just as it’s natural for people with prominent planets or Angles in the Air Signs to Identify with Thoughts, and natural for people with prominent planets or Angles in the Earth Signs to Identify with the Physical Body. With Emotion or Thought or Flesh already in the forefront of their Identity, it might be Easier to find their Independent Identity through that natural Channel.

This week should be a really good Opportunity for us to Practice Feeling Anger rather than Being Anger. And a great Opportunity to Practice Feeling Blaming rather than Being Blaming, and especially to Learn the difference between How Anger Feels and How Blaming Feels. Some Bridges are already smoldering, and their ignition may be inevitable.

It’s not just Mars here, but Hylonome as well. So we’ll be busy Blaming our Codependence on them instead of Recognizing that it was actually Our Choice. Put two Codependent people in the Encounters between those two Angry people in the word pictures above, and it starts to get Really Complicated. And of course we’re all Codependent to some degree in some areas of Life. It’s just Easier. We have not only the assignment to Notice How Anger Feels and How Blame Feels and How Rain Feels, but also the assignment to Notice How It Feels to Claim your Self-Sovereignty and Notice How it Feels to Surrender your Power. And both of those situations, where your Sparring Partner is Angry, and where your Sparring Partner is Cooperative, and when your Sparring Partner is Hiding their True Self.

A Very Busy week indeed.

Dropping Self-Sabotage

As we’ve said many times, Karma died in 2012, when Linear Time became Obsolete. But our Karma doesn’t cling to us, we cling to it, because like Dinner and Dessert, it’s what we’re accustomed to. Without it there’s a Big (w)Hole to fill – disconcerting at best, often crazy-making. It’s very Addictive, very difficult to break the habit without Support and Commitment.

Like Alan Watts pointed out, it’s harder to break our Good Karma than it is to break our Bad Karma. That should be fairly obvious – Bad Karma often involves Punishment on one level or another, and Good Karma gets constant positive social Reinforcement, so there’s Motivation for the Bad, quite the Opposite for the Good. Without Motivation, from whence will the Commitment arise? Yet if we want to get to Yintegrity and 5D, we need to Break our Good Karma as well.

Remember that all Karmic Patterns are Profound Skills – simply because we’ve had so much Practice and so many Repetitions with them, in so many different situations. Karma isn’t Good or Bad on the surface, it’s Undesirable because we have no Choice about when to use the Skill – it Operates beneath the level of our Consciousness, whether or not it’s Appropriate and Effective for what we want to Accomplish. In fact, once we break free of the Unconscious Compulsion, we need these Skills, used Intentionally, to Accomplish our Life Mission.

We Believe that Karma is created when we make an Oath or Vow or Promise, or even a Decision, that has Life-or-Death or other serious consequences. Conscious of these consequences, we work hard to forget that we made the Choice, instead Reframing it as Just The Way Things Are. If we can make it a Fact of Life, we’re less likely to Violate it. Through Repetition, we convince ourself that it really is The Way Things Are, and that ends up as an Unconscious – Karmic – Belief in subsequent Lifetimes.

All Karma is Personal. Sure, there are Cultural Patterns and Prescriptions that Act Out like Karma. Like the almost-Universal Practice of scapegoating other Cultures. Once in a while, a Cultural Karmic Pattern can shift on its own. But does that actually Change the World, when all of the folks who Practice it are still Addicted to it? Not until at least a hundred of the “Monkeys,” and probably a lot more, who Practice it have brought it into Consciousness and converted it to a Purposive Skill. Or until (seven?) previous generations move on to their next Adventures.

When asteroid Karma is Lit Up, our Karma is usually in our face. The South Node is similar but different. It includes our Held Emotions, the ones we’d rather Die than Feel. Much Cultural Karma is the result of Cultural or Racial Trauma. We can think of the South Node as Individual or Collective PTSD. The South Node harbors Behaviors that Got Us Dead in other Lifetimes. Those Behaviors were probably Karmic – if they weren’t, we might have Chosen other Skills instead.

We still need those Skills, and there may be a bundle of other Skills that we collected or emphasized in that Lifetime, that we Repressed along with the one(s) that Got Us Dead. This collection of Skills, used Intentionally, is particularly Critical to Accomplishing our Life Mission (the North Node).

Dwarf planet Orcus is in charge of Punishing Oath-Breakers, which would include Karma-Changers. As a fearsome Beast, Orcus helped Enforce our Oaths during Karma-gestating Lifetimes, and that Memory of Terror that’s attached to the Karma may be added to our Fear of what might happen to us if we skip Dinner and Dessert. Asteroid Vesta represents our Unconscious Limiting Beliefs, which are highly correlated with our Karma.

Meanwhile, is our Fate different from our Karma? In many ways, not so much. And there are four asteroids that are named after the Greek Goddesses who were in charge of our Fate. Greek Drama (or at least, our Cultural Projections into Greek Drama) was particularly adept at dramatizing Fate. While it’s easy to view Greek Drama as implying that The Devil Made Me Do It, we can also view it as Information about What We Need to Bring into Consciousness so that we can make Choices that save us from being Victims of our own Fate.

Asteroid Moira is in charge of the whole Process of Unconscious Fate and Conscious Choice. Asteroid Klotho “cuts the cloth” (that’s where our word “cloth” comes from) on which the Tapestry of our Fate is woven. Asteroid Lachesis “measures the cloth,” or determines the Duration of a particular Karmic “Gift.” And Asteroid Atropos is in charge of Endings – literally Death, but we generalize to include the Death of an individual thread of Karma, which is appropriate because the Termination of any significant Karmic Pattern usually requires an Ego Death.

Our Held Emotions are the poster child for this, as they are the Emotions which We would rather Die than Feel. But here we don’t interpret that as We would rather Die than Feel, we interpret it as We would rather Die than Feel – that is, an Ego Death, the equivalent of a Rebirth without an intervening Physical Death.

This has been a significant week from the Perspective of Fate and Karma, as asteroid Atropos (Endings) was very Strong (Stationary) on 10 March 2021 (2:04 pm PST in 20 Cancer), asteroid Lachesis (Karmic Duration) was very Strong (Stationary) on 13 March (7:12 am PST in 18 Scorpio), and asteroid Vesta (Unconscious Limiting Beliefs) crossed dwarf planet Orcus (Oath-Making and -Breaking) on 13 March (2:18 pm PST in 13 Virgo).

In addition (Busy, Busy, Busy), the Lachesis Station, supercharged because it’s Out of Bounds, Complicates (T-Squares) an Argument (Opposition) between asteroid Karma and an Expanded asteroid Moira (Conjunct Jupiter). “Wait! Are you saying that I can Change my Fate? ” Lachesis Measured the Duration of a thread of our Fate, but there’s nothing to prevent us from cheating Fate by bringing that thread into Consciousness Early.

The Vesta-Orcus Merger (Conjunction) makes a major Challenge to (T-Squares) the North Node and the Brightly Lit Up South Node (Conjunct the Great Attractor, an unknown Massive Object or Field pulling the whole Milky Way toward the Midpoint of Sagittarius). “Wait! Are you saying that it was ‘my’ Choices that ultimately created my Limitations? Can I unmake those Choices?“

And the Atropos Station not only gets very Tied Up in issues around Trust (Conjunct Out-of-Bounds asteroid Eurydike), but also issues around Self-Love and Self-Authority (Opposite asteroid Sappho and dwarf planet Hylonome). “Wait! Can I really Trust that Fear of Emptiness is the only thing that inhibits my Freedom, not Dragons? That’s not what my mother and the preacherman told me!“

In addition to Hylonome (Self-Sovereignty and Codependence), Lilith (ditto) is also Activated (Opposing the Lachesis Station and also T-Squaring the Jupiter-Moira to Karma Opposition) – remember what we said earlier about Good Karma and Yintegrity?

Dwarf planet Nessus (Abuse and Privilege) is also involved, as it Opposes Vesta-Orcus and also T-Squares the Nodes, including the South Node that’s glowing like Rudolph’s nose, meaning that it may be a particularly fortuitous time to Let Go of Abuse Karma. And a fortuitous time to jettison Privilege Karma.

That leaves out asteroid Klotho. Are we to endure the Emptiness without the Rebirth of a new Ego? Well, it’s a sleeper, but it’s there. It’s Merged with (Conjunct) dwarf planet Haumea (also symbolizing Rebirth), and at the focus of a Mjölner (Epiphanies) to the Square between Nessus and the North Node. If you look close in the chart below, and your monitor or printer is good enough at color separation, you may be able to distinguish the orange Mjölner lines, pointing to Klotho-Haumea, from the many red (Square and Opposition) lines.

Insights that shift Energies from a Belief that “It’s Just The Way It Is” to “Omigod! I can Change that too?!? ” can count double as Karma-Changers, if they’re followed up by the ongoing Work of substituting Constructive Thoughts and Behaviors for their Karmic forbears. Ultimately, it “Reps” – Repetitions – that shift Self-Sabotaging Karmic Patterns to Habits that we want to cultivate.

For instance, I read this earlier this week…

“Anthony Trewavas described plants as operating: ‘There is no unique separate response to each signal in this complex of informational inflows but merely a response issued from an integration of all environmental and internal information.’ In other words, the organism takes in all the incoming data simultaneously as it occurs and integrates it as one coherent whole, then crafts a response… The amount of incoming data includes trillions upon trillions of bits; when you are talking about Gaia the numbers are close enough to infinity as to make no difference. There is no way that linear processes could be used to generate the increasingly complex innovations on form and behavior that would stabilize homeodynamis. Top-down control here just doesn’t work.” –Stephen Harrod Buhner, Plant Intelligence and the Imaginal Realm, pp.152-3.

Within a few hours I read correlated ideas in three other books on different subjects (by Gay Hendricks, Timothy Hass, and Marko Pogačnik). The result was that I Realized that I’ve been relying too much on Intellect to move toward an important Manifestation that I’m working on, when I need to shift even more than I already am to Intuition and PIAVAs. I Realized that I had been Doubting my next interim Target because I couldn’t imagine what Mechanism would get me there.

Mechanisms are Logical, Known Steps. We can’t Manifest Territory beyond our Known World using Known or Logical Steps. If we could, we’d have done so long ago. We can’t Reach Beyond our Grasp with Dynamic Processes, only with Magnetic Processes.

We aren’t without Blessings to make this process Easier…

Vesta-Orcus and the two Fatefull Stations are all two Signs apart, and they’re joined by three other Sextiles to create a Grand Sextile in Water and Earth – the PIAVA Signs.

There are eight Unxes (two planets one Sign apart, indicated by the short green lines), including at least one Unx for each of the three Stars of this show. Atropos (Endings) gets two such Pattern-Breaking Gifts, one to asteroid Karma itself, and one to the North Node (MIssion) and dwarf planet Asbolus (Intuition, which we’re already Summoning). Asteroid Karma also Unxes Vesta-Orcus.

These three Unxes alone are enough to banish whatever Self-Sabotage you’ve been working on. If you still Feel Stuck on those, check to see if any of them Let Go while you weren’t looking. Try some Easy but Meaningful PIAVAs to see if they work now – that should Ease any Discouragement you have over the others.

The Lachesis-Station Unxes the South Node and Great Attractor, suggesting to me that your Held Emotions may be ready to be Eased into your stable of Permitted Emotions. Remember this fellow from Yellow Submarine? If you Ask him, he can just vacuum them up. So much for unknown Mechanisms.

Recess Is Over

Sorry to say that our brief Respite from the Gauntlet is almost (if not already for the more sensitive among us) over. The next major Portal occurs 11 December 2020, which means most of us will be Feeling it already, since dwarf planet Exaggerations (Stations) usually last at least several days, if not a week or two. Ironically, one of the most important variables for the duration of a Portal is What Else Is Going On to divert our Attention. When there are more than one Portal going on we usually Feel their Interaction more than their separate but simultaneous Energies.

But first, let’s talk about a couple of Sign Changes that occurred on 7 December. Sign Changes are important because they often Change the Energy in the Room, a if Billy The Kid or the Dalai Lama just walked in.

At 4:10 am PST 7 December, the symbol for Boundaries (asteroid Pallas) moved into the Sign of Social Order (Aquarius – if you know some astrology, you will have many other clues about Aquarius, which is all Good – it’s Both/And, though it doesn’t mean that your Profiling will match that of Others). Pallas left the Sign of Pragmatism (Capricorn), where it’s been since February, though it dipped its asteroidal toe into Aquarius in May, barely, before going back for remedial work in Capricorn. It stays in Aquarius till early March.

We can probably expect big changes in the way we deal with the Carumbavirus, as Boundaries revert to Social Purposes more than Pragmatic Purposes. If that was going to be about the vaccine, I would expect Pallas to move into Aquarius sometime next year – instead it will be moving into Pisces then. Makes a person Wonder how this will unfold. Will the Virus retreat suddenly once Biden is “certified” and as People Dream about their Vaccine Savior and quit Expecting to get sick from it? And then return with a Vengeance in March, since Pisces and Keening like to cohabit?

Curious. Pragmatic Boundaries certainly fit February through November. Maybe Social Boundaries will just become more common, as the Covidiots commit suicide in order to continue to Worship their Ideology and not Betray their Cult, while the Cautious remain so, out of Respect for their larger Society. I doubt that it will represent Codependent Boundaries, as Self-Sovereignty is prominent in the Orcus Station chart. Perhaps it will Flush Out our Codependence so the Orcus Energy can Whack-A-Mole it.

At 11:20 am PST 7 December, the symbol for Truth of the Mind (asteroid Veritas) joined Pallas in Aquarius. It’s also been in Capricorn since February 2020, and will move on to Pisces in late February 2021. If you’ve been watching people Suffocate to Death, your Pragmatic Facts will be very different from those of the folks who’ve been licking up the Antichrist’s frass. Having both Pallas and Veritas in Aquarius could push these two Factions furthur apart, as people Choose Socially Acceptable Facts from their Community or their Farcebook. But again, that may just serve to provide a curriculum for Hylonome (Self-Sovereignty) in Capricorn with its prominent placement in the Orcus Station chart.

Which Exaggeration/Station maxes out at 4:10 pm PST 11 December 2020. The Mythical Orcus was a mean fellow, but in our Astrotheon he’s a Paper Tiger. His job was to Punish Oath-Breakers. A pet theory of ours is that at least some Karma if not most or all, was Created when we made an Oath or Vow or Promise or even a Decision that was so important to us in that Lifetime (kept us Safe or Fed, for instance), that we elevated it from an Oath to a Fact of Life, in so doing Forgetting or Repressing our Ability to Revert it. Many Lifetimes later we still regard it as a Fact of Life, but now it’s totally disconnected from the original Oath, and consequently it never occurs to us to Revert it.

Worse, it may have been an Ancestor that made the original Oath, and then passed down the Fact of Life, unexamined, from generation to generation, so we never know there was ever an Oath involved. Or worse yet, as often occurs, the warped Fact of Life could be a deeply ingrained part of your Cultural Identity, a Prejudice that has been Celebrated for centuries rather than Examined as a Karmic Limitation – think religious and national Competitions. Andrew Carnegie single-handedly eliminated Homeopathic medical schools from the US, for instance, with the result that most of the Medical Cartel just regards it as Blasphemy, and will never know there was a historical (or hysterical, or just financial) Decision involved that banned it from Respect and in so doing has eliminated much valuable Technology.

We’ll Anal-yse the chart in the next post. It heralds a zone of simple charts, in contrast to the many very complex charts that have burdened us for the last while…

It should allow us to Flush many Unconscious Abuse Patterns.

Charts of the Portals XI

That Guilt and Self-Doubt we’ve been Feeling all day is a correlate of the Challenge (T-Square) to our Willingness to Notice when we’re Feeling Guilt or Self-Doubt (Nemesis) and Choose to Feel Otherwise.  Said Challenge (T-Square) is part of the Strong Temptation to Give Away Our Power (Station of Hylonome) that’s in today’s chart…

Of course one way to Choose to Feel Otherwise is to Own Up to whatever vile thing we did that we’re Feeling Guilty about, and Make Amends.

More likely though that we haven’t done anything vile, we’re just picking up on a random thread of our Karmic Guilt, or even Guilt on the airwaves from a neighbor.  Karma is a Muscle – the more we Work it, the Stronger it gets, and the more we Revert it, the Weaker it gets.  It’s just a Choice – following a Noticing.  The more we Choose Otherwise, the sooner we Notice, and the sooner we Notice, the easier it is to Choose Otherwise.  Reverting our Karma is a Virtuous Cycle.

So I’m guessing that for most of us, today was just about Practicing Responding to Guilt or Self-Doubt with Loving Kindness toward ourself.

The rest of the Challenge (the base of the T-Square) is Complicated – it has Trust and Respect for All Things (Eurydike-Hopi) on one end and Boundaries, Claiming our Power, and Expansion (Pallas-Stationary Hylonome-Jupiter) on the other.  While it’s been ten days since Jupiter was Stationary, it’s still moving at a slow walk, so it will hype up that Strong Power-Claiming quite a bit, while it will be much easier than usual for us to Notice it – that is, Set a Boundary between it and our usual Unconscious Tendency to Ego-Identify with it.

I keep waiting for someone who’s used to Ego astrology to ask, “Hey, wait a minute!  How can Hylonome be Giving Away Our Power in one paragraph and Claiming Our Power in the next??” – but no one ever has.  So I’ll answer it anyway.

The Observing Mind is Dual.  It specializes in Either/Or.  The Universe is Both/And.  If you can Think Of it, it’s going on somewhere, and that doesn’t count all the things you haven’t Thought Of yet, which are also going on somewhere.  That’s why we Enjoyed Hitchhiker’s Guide so much – it demonstrated what we actually already knew but weren’t allowed to admit because in Western Culture the Non-Dual is an SEP Field.  Otherwise we wouldn’t be able to so Enjoy huffing up our Ego Field with Judgment, would we.

So yes, astrology points out the Dimensions, not the Directions.  The Dimension of Hylonome is about Our Power, and either Claiming It or Surrendering It.  The Direction is Giving Away on one side, and Claiming on the other.  Direction is Either/Or, Dimension is Both/And.  Hylonome Exaggerates Our Power and What We Do With It.  Whether we Use it to Support Our Own Choices and Goals and Desires, Use it to Suck Up to someone whom we Believe might Support Our Choices and Goals and Desires, or just Squander It in “Oh, I’m sorry!” unnecessary Niceness, is our own Moment-to-Moment Choice.

This is why a Guideline of Manifestation is to Avoid Asking for anything using Negation.  To the Dualistic Observing Mind, the Yes-or-No part is what’s critical – Abundance or Scarcity for instance.  But to the Unconscious, which is the Source of our Power to Manifest Energy into Form, Abundance and Scarcity Live on the same Dimension.  A request for Less Scarcity may well register as a request for Scarcity, because the Genie behind the curtain is focused on the Dimension.

In the Jungian World at least, the Unconscious is also the seat of our Urge to Wholeness.  It’s an Original Blessing, not an Original Sin.  From this Perspective, which is the one we usually use, the Genie will hear our request for Less Scarcity as a request for a Curriculum on Scarcity, so we can Learn it’s Edges.  Long term, that’s probably the most effective approach to Abundance, but if What We Want is Abundance, we want to Ask For that end of the Dimension.

Of course, if we’re Expecting more Abundance than our Karma Reversion merits, the Genie will deliver an Illustration of the Karma that blocks the path.  That’s why the full PIAVA process requires that we first, PIAVA What We Want.  Then second, Change the Subject so our Old Patterns don’t contaminate our PIAVA with their usual Yes-Buts and What-Ifs.  And third, if we don’t get what we’ve PIAVAed, Pay Attention to What We Did Get, because it can Lead us through our remaining Karmic Impediments.

If we can manage to convert our Original-Sin Beliefs about a Universe that’s “red of claw and sharp of tooth”…

…as Marlin Perkins used to describe it, to a Universe that has our Best Interests at Heart, then we can Seek the Benefit in everything that befalls us.  It’s a Powerful Practice to PIAVA in reverse – when we’re Surprised by something we haven’t been Aware that we’ve been Asking for, we can PIAVA “who was that Masked Man” who Asked for that?

There’s an excellent chance that he or she or it is actually One Of Us, maybe a part of us we haven’t even met yet.

Which is basically what the other side of the T-Square base says, Trust in Respect for All Things (Eurydike-Hopi) – in a Benevolent Universe and a Wholeness-Seeking Unconscious, there are only Friends.

Of course, all three of these charts are active all of the time this month, but this one is front and center this week.

Before we get there though, starting at 7:30 am PDT 23 September, the Moon goes Out of Bounds again, meaning we’ll be more Emotional than usual.  That also means that Our Instincts will be Sharper than they usually are.  Which can make trouble – we could misinterpret our Instincts to think that they mean we must be “right,” and let our Strong Emotions take over.  Don’t be surprised by an uptick in assaults and worse – but stay out of one yourself, K?  This lasts till 5:40 am PDT 25 September.

Dubya could have his invasion and destruction of the cultural history of Iraq (to erase all that evidence about his benefactors the Anunnaki) under cover of this Confusion between Instincts and Emotions, in his followup to the previous Moon OOB period and the WTC.  Don’t let the Antichrist pull off the same kind of tricks.

Meanwhile, till 6:10 am PDT 25 September, our Intuition is Exaggerated – or our ability to Ignore it! (Asbolus Stationary in 26 Gemini).  It’s a fabulous time to Notice that we’re Ignoring it, and correct that Habit.  The Difference between our Intuition and our Instincts is subtle.  It would be useful for us to Explore that Difference here where they’re in sharp contrast.  Our Strong Intuition Lights Up the same Energy (chart) that we Experienced early in the month when our Creative Genius was Standing Out (Ixion Stationary, 10 September) …

Which happens to be an Energy we’ll be Suffering Under – Wait!  I mean, Living With a lot for the next while, as it’s the major Energy in all of the following…

• Focus on The Most Important Thing (Saturn Stationary in 26 Capricorn) until 10pm PDT 28 September.

• Which is likely to be Our Unlimited Potential (Chaos Stationary in 29 Gemini) until 2:30 am PDT 29 September.

Remember that we likely just had a Big Breakthrough on this…

“So we use the Energy in our Survival Instincts, which run about as Deep as any Energy, to Excite our Passion for Growing our Unconditional Self-Love, [which in turn] Allows our Karmic Limitations to Shift and Open Up our Boundless Potential so it Changes our Emotional History and Creates a [New] Internal Reality (Emotion<->Thought) that Sustains the Truth of our Heart.”

Changing our Emotional History isn’t as hard as it sounds – we do it every time we have a significant Change of Perspective on some Profound past event, or Forgive someone at whom we got very Angry when we Realize that it wasn’t their Fault, or See the World through New Eyes for any of a number of other reasons.

Also notice that these two Stations (Saturn and Chaos) Relate to one another through Curiosity (Quincunx).  The Most Important Thing is likely to be Our Unconstrained Potential, but we need to Grok the fact that Our Potential is far more Multidimensional than our Dualistic Mind can ever Understand and Utilize Effectively.  The only way we can work with our Unlimited Potential is via a Tool that is as Unlimited, namely our Intuition.  The thick plottens, doesn’t it.

The Saturn Station is of course the second step in our Initiation into the Digital Age, the first being the 12 September Station of Jupiter, as the two prepare to Merge at the Capricorn Solstice.  Opening to our Unlimited Potential will be a very valuable part of Creating Our Own Reality in the Digital Age, which may entail a lot of Suffering for those who Don’t Have This Luxury.

• A Huge Teaching about our Confidence (Chariklo Stationary in 25 Capricorn) till 1:20 pm PDT 3 October.  If we’re Open to it, the Teaching is likely to be that Self-Confidence and Self-Doubt are not Created by External Processes – they are products of our own Internal Decision Process.  The Teaching is Huge because it’s Merged with (Conjunct) and nearly simultaneous with…

• A Big Shift in the Underlying Trance through which We See the World (Pluto Stationary in 23 Capricorn) through at least 6:30 am PDT 4 October.

It’s going to be a very busy couple of weeks.

Charts of the Portals VIII

Today, 21 September 2020, we’re back to the Global Climate Change chart, our “Stinkbug chart.”  On the Flying Squirrel’s right front paw we found the symbol for Self-Love (asteroid Sappho) Merged with the symbol for Growth in Consciousness (asteroid Juno).  Last Friday, Self-Love finished a nine-month course in the knife-edge between Relationship and Self-Sovereignty (Sappho in Libra), and began a three-month tutorial called “Is That Really Unconditional Self-Love?” (Sappho in Scorpio).

Since early last November, we’ve been Growing in Consciousness through our Experiences with other people (Juno in Libra).  You know, How can you wear that Mask?  Don’t you know it’s Unconstitutional?  Of course, if we didn’t Notice that we were in Judgment and spend a few minutes Wondering why someone else’s Idiocy would trigger our own Emotions so much, we sort of missed the point.  We interpret Juno as Growth in Consciousness because the Mythical Juno was Merged with Jupiter, and her greatest Opportunity to Grow was in Recognizing that the two of them weren’t actually the same person.  So Libra is particularly Instructive for Juno.

Starting today (4am PDT), we’ll instead be Growing in Consciousness through our Experience of Ourself (Juno in Scorpio).  Since the Essence of Scorpio is Fearlessness, we’re likely to move into some places that are Painful for our Ego.  We’ll probably be ahead to remember that Self-Judgment isn’t Self-Loving.  As with Sappho (undoubtedly a “coincidence”), the Dance through Scorpio only lasts about three months.

Astrology tends to do this – no matter what astrological Metaphor or Scale you use, the answer is often the same.  For instance, we could ignore all of the Global Climate Change (Pholus-Quaoar) and Digital Age (Jupiter-Saturn) and Patriarchy (Uranus-Pluto) Big-Picture trends, and just notice that while we’re going through this “Constitutional Crisis” everyone who’s anybody –

What after all is more Important for the future of Huperity than Unconditional Self-Love and Growth in Consciousness??

 – is in Scorpio, which is all about Getting to the Bottom of Things.

In order to Grow our Consciousness, one of the prerequisites is Knowing that All There Is Is Now – Frequently Asking ourself, What’s Going On In the Present Moment?  That usually Relieves us of such Follies as Believing the Contents of Our Silly Old Thoughts, and even often Allowing our Emotions to Dance our Thoughts into a Tizzy.  Getting into the Present Moment with our Emotions is a little like doing a Poor-Sweetheart – when we go from I Am Angry to I Feel Anger we Shift our Identity.

Even after only a few hours, I’ll wager that if you look, you’ll Notice that at least once already today, you’ve been naturally Inspired to Shift your Perspective on Patterns that you Live and Act Out daily.  The Insights I’ve had today promise to be Life-Changing, and you’ve probably had some of those too.
