Mine or Yours?

Tapping World Summit

Levels and Perspectives

I don’t think we’ve emphasized this Perspective recently, but it’s fundamental, so worth repeating.  This culture commonly Perceives Mentality, Emotionality, Spirituality, and Physicality as different Levels or Departments of Experience.  We don’t mean to imply that these are the only Departments – at the very least we need to add Energy, for instance.

Simply put, these are not different Levels or Departments.  They’re different Perspectives on our Unitary Experience of being in a Physical Body.

Imagine that you’re standing on a Ridge, waving at the camera.  You’ll look different…

  • to an observer a few feet in front of you
  • to an an observer several yards behind you
  • to an observer at the top of the Peak
  • to an observer falling off the Ridge while stepping back a few feet so they can capture your profile

Experience is One Unified Thing.  It’s only a mental game to try to reduce it into separate “components.”  Body, Spirit, Emotion, Mind, and Energy are just different snapshots of the same One Thing, seen from different angles.

We quoted Stephen Levine recently, where he was reading the Emotional state of his Inner Child by Attending to the Physical Sensations in his Body.  You’ve undoubtedly heard Stories about Physical-Healing “Miracles” perpetrated through the Spiritual or Dietary Perspectives – “Spontaneous Remissions” as the Scienteriffic types have to call it to preserve their precious Reductive Worldview and prevent Cognitive Dissonance.  Dr. Kim (http://drkimderamo.com/) talks about the crossover between Perspectives (fka Levels) all the time.  

Donna Eden and David Feinstein (http://www.innersource.net/) have been teaching and writing about this for decades.  If you haven’t had experiences where you’ve, just as a for-instance, resolved Emotional Overwhelm by Tapping on Energy Meridians on the Body, you haven’t “Tried It on Everything” (http://www.thetappingsolution.com/) yet.

Here’s an excerpt from a Channeling where Daniel Scranton talks about this…

“You then move past the emotional awakening and into the energetic awakening.  The energetic awakening is often felt as strange occurrences in your bodies.  It is also something that you sense.  It is awakening to your empathic nature.  It is an awakening of the consciousness that you are and that you use to navigate through this reality.

Anxiety, Judgment, Fear

The Mind is Dualistic.  No Blame, that’s just what it does for a Living.  It will always trap us in Either/Ors that will either end up as Anxiety…

“You poor Sweetheart, you’re really Nervous, aren’t you.  Great Spirit, may we please have Peace and Clarity?”

Or as Judgment – neither of which is Unconditional Love or Permanent Curiosity, our most productive Perspectives…

“You poor Sweetheart, you’re in Judgment, aren’t you.  I Wonder how we could get to Acceptance or Forgiveness and still Feel Safe.”

Both of which are probably fed by Unconscious Fear…

“You poor Sweetheart, do you Feel Scared?  Can I Visualize Safety for us in these circumstances?”

Then of course we’d have to Change the Subject.  Our “You poor Sweetheart…”s can move our Identity out of Chagrin and into Empathy for ourself.  But it may not necessarily quiet intense Unpleasant Emotions.  For that we want to Tap ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QzVd6Ww0as4 )…

“Even though I Feel [Anxious] [Judgmental] [Scared] […], I deeply and completely Love and Accept myself …”

If you aren’t familiar with Tapping, do watch the YouTube video.  It’s easy to Learn and Remember, and it has profound impact.  Before and after you Tap, measure your Emotional Load on the scale of 1 to 10, so you can witness Changes.  If you don’t work down to near zero, Tap again…

“Even though I still Feel [Anxious] [Judgmental] [Scared] […], I deeply and completely Love and Accept myself …”

Let your Story evolve; it might be “Anxious” one minute and “Uptight” the next.  “Sick with Fear” on one pass and “Worried About” the next.  Let it evolve from one Tapping Point to the next if you want.

For the sake of “argument,” suppose you had to fight someone.  Let’s say you were the alpha Wolf or Stag and had to Defend your position, or you were a Mother and had to Defend your Children.  If you go into the fight with so much Anger that you’re just flailing in Rage, or so much Fear that you’re Frozen, you probably won’t do as well.  Even if you hadn’t Learned and Practiced how to fight, you’d be better off to be Calm and Conscious.  You might even remember to do Kegels so you could slow Time down and make your antagonist’s blows easier to dodge, Aikido-style.

I don’t advocate fighting, but it’s a good example of how we’re almost always better off starting from Detachment than we would be if we start from Deep Attachment.  

A reader asks…

“You mention tapping a lot, is it possible to occasioinaly give us a few points to tap that are relevant to the particular archetype the stars are highlighting for us to release?  I’m sure everyone is going thru intense emotions as these things come up for release – some guidance on effective points would be really appreciated.”

I’m not an Acupuncturist, but the purpose of Tapping is to Balance All the Meridians, so I’m not entirely sure Tapping one more than another would, in general, be a good plan, and the Intellect is probably not the best vehicle for favoring one Point over another.  You can always measure your Emotional Load (on the 1-10 scale) between each Tapping Point, to see if one of them makes a bigger difference than the others.  Often I find my Emotional Load decreases sharply just by Tapping the Karate-Chop point and saying the starting phrase, for instance.  

And I very much doubt that any given Acupressure point would be flagged for everyone based on the Energy signified by the planets.  A Mercury Station, for instance, might Awaken or Sharpen one person’s Mind or Communication Channels, Overload the next person’s producing Anxiety, and Overload a third person’s creating Space-Out.

If you want to get into the use of the individual Meridians, Donna Eden’s Energy Medicine is an excellent resource.  She maps out all the Meridians, and if one of them is Out of Balance, to Balance it she recommends tracing it on your body backwards once, then forward twice.  I occasionally get acid stomach, for instance, and if Dilution (drinking a glass of Water) doesn’t fix it, and a tablet of Betaine HCl doesn’t fix it (acid stomach usually results from too little stomach acid, not too much, so squelching the acid damages your health), tracing my Stomach Meridian backward once then forward twice always fixes it.

January, Week 2, Early

We are all Perps as much as we are Victims.  We are always In Balance; what Feels Out of Balance is Balanced by the Unconscious.  As a Victim, at the very least we are Perpetrating a toxic Lack of Self-Love upon our Victim Self.  Moving into Balance involves bringing the Unconscious Ballast into Consciousness.  We do that with a Searching and Fearless Inventory of what Frightens us – most especially Death, since most Fears reduce to that – Owning our Fears, and Empathizing with ourselves over them: “You poor Sweetheart, you’re really Scared of Death, aren’t you.”

That does two things; it gets us Honest with ourself so we no longer have to Protect ourself against what we Deny and Fear.  And it shifts our “Assemblage Point,” or Identity, from being in Fear to being in Compassion.  Examine the syntax…  

“I am Scared” literally means that Fear and I are Merged as One.

“I Feel Scared” means that I have Separated myself from my Fear far enough that I now Recognize it as an Emotion rather than a Reality.

“You poor Sweetheart, you’re Scared, aren’t you” means that I am now looking back at my (now formerly) Frightened self with Compassion.  You can shorten that last sentence to “I am … Compassion.”

This isn’t wordplay, this is quite Real.

Then we Tap ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QzVd6Ww0as4 ).  “Even though I’m Frightened by the Idea of Death, I deeply and completely Love and Accept myself.”  It’s the same process – your Identity Assemblage Point is shifting from “I am Fear” to “I am Feeling” to I am Self-Love.”  But with Tapping, you’re also programming your Energy Body, as you tap on the Acupressure points at the end of each Meridian.

Note that we took a detour there.  Instead of “Even though I’m Frightened by Death, I deeply and completely Love and Accept myself” we said “… I’m Frightened by the Idea of Death …” – which is actually usually the case.  So we go from “I am Fear” to “I am Thinking” to “I am Feeling” to “I am Self-Love.”

The two processes – “You poor Sweetheart…” and Tapping complement one another perfectly.  Tapping is Energy Medicine to calm your Emotions.  Calming your Emotions quiets the Vicious Circle of Thoughts that reinforce your Unpleasant Emotions.  “You poor Sweetheart…” puts you – your Identity, your Psychic Core – in a position to Recover the Abandoned parts of yourself that are Scared.  They’re Scared for good reason – they’ve been Abandoned, Banished.  Except in Primary Cultures where one Learns Self-Reliance as part of one’s Childhood, being Abandoned means Death.

Saying “Cancel, Neutralize, Upgrade” to yourself is similar, but starts in the mental.  You’re declaring your Intention (PIAVAing in other words) that your negative thoughts be Canceled, that their Vibration (Energy, Emotion) be Neutralized, and that you be Upgraded (into Self-Love).  Every Prayer is answered, and every thought is a Prayer.  Becoming Conscious of your Self-Sabotaging thoughts is an important part of bringing the Self into Balance so your Perp and your Victim Cancel one another Out like two identical sine waves that are perfectly out of phase ( if you’re interested in the science, see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Superposition_principle#Wave_interference ).

Helplessness and Powerlessness are Real, and it’s easy to be Victims of Helplessness and Powerlessness.  What is required is that we Be Responsible To – not For – our Helplessness and Powerlessness.

It’s not our Fault – that’s Blame, which is Looking to the Past to assign Fault.  We need to move to Responsibility, which involves Looking at the Future with the Intention of Changing Outcomes.  To be Responsible For something sounds a whole lot like being To Blame for it.  To be Responsible To something means that  we give it our Attention and Obedience.  What does it mean to be Responsible To our Powerlessness?

We can start by switching from “I am Powerless” to “I Feel Powerless.”  From there we can go to “You poor Sweetheart, you’re really Feeling Powerless, aren’t you.”  We may never have the Power to Change the World (though that’s debatable), but we always have the Power to Change our Relationship to the World.  Changing ourself is the onliest Power we have.  So we’re never actually Powerless.  

We may have to Break a lot of Habits and Tap Out a lot of Emotions to Create Significant Change, but we have the Power.  We just have to take the first step.  That’s how Habits are Changed, through Repetition, starting with the first step.

As adults, most of the time our Fear of Abandonment (which our Fear of Death usually reduces to) isn’t fully Present Time – though at least in the US, our modern neo-Dickensian Culture is in fact Abandoning us.  Most of our Fear of Abandonment is a regression to the Real Abandonment we Suffered as Children, when we really didn’t have the Skills to Survive on our own, so we had to depend upon our Abusers, even though we loathed our Abuse.

But guess what.  Even though we didn’t have the Power to Change our Abuse or our Abusers, we did have the Power to Change our Relationship to our Abuse, and we did just that.  We numbed out, we went into Denial, we Learned how to put on many of the Masks that we’ve been Taking Off lately.  Denial is a healthy psychological process.  It’s what we do with Overwhelm.  If we don’t have the Skill to deal with it otherwise, we Deny it.  It’s how we Survive, losing a battle but staying Alive to potentially win the war later.

Denial is Power, part of our Skillset.  So is bringing Ballast out of the Unconscious so we can Change our Relationship to it.  We Denied our Abandonment as Children, we Recover our Abandonment as adults, by bringing it into Consciousness where we can Recognize the chain of thoughts and Emotions that feed it, Own them, “You poor Sweetheart…” them, Cancel-Neutralize-Upgrade them, and Tap them Out.  Not always Easy, but we have to start somewhere.  It requires only Persistence, and our Abandonment is the best Motivation there is for Persistence.

We didn’t mention earlier that before it goes Stationary in a few hours (2am PST 8 January), Mercury sticks a toe back into Sagittarius.  There in the penultimate Degree of Sagittarius, it Conjoins Quaoar (Survival), Pholus (Full Responsibility), and the Galactic Center (Communique from Headquarters) – that’s where it is as I write this.

Another thing I forgot to mention, as by “coincidence” I didn’t notice it till now, is that Vesta (Unconscious Beliefs) is still Conjunct Varuna (the Life Force), which has dipped its toe back into Cancer.  So the Mercury Station is Quincunx (Curiosity) to Vesta-Varuna – in some Paradoxical and not-so-Paradoxical ways, our Epiphanies (Mercury Stationary) about Survival and Responsibility (Quaoar-Pholus) are closely Related to Letting Go of our Unconscious Beliefs that are Anti-Life -Beliefs that aren’t Self-Loving.

Remember too that Vesta was a corner of that Grand Quintile (Learning Opportunity) that we’re enjoying today.  So the GQ is…

  • Vesta-Varuna (Rooting out Anti-Life Unconscious Beliefs)
  • Hopi (Respect for All Things – including ourself)
  • Juno-Saturn-Ixion-Nemesis (Recovery of our Abandoned Genius and the Ego Deaths and Expansion of Consciousness that are necessary to get there)
  • Pallas-Venus-OR10-Nessus-South Node (Irruption of Current- and Past-Life Memories of Abuse and the Setting of Boundaries against same)
  • Moon (Authenticity)

We’re Learning about how all of these things are Related.  How long does this Grand Quincunx stay with us?  Well, the Moon is the obvious “weak link,” as moving about half a Degree per hour, it will only stay in the GQ for about half a day (using our usual three Degrees of Sensitivity, plus another three Degrees to traverse the Angle to the Ixion and Nessus Stellia).

But even without the Moon in the GQ, we have four of the five corners of the Pentagram, which makes the Strongest point of the almost-GQ the Vacancy that the Moon temporarily occupies today.  

That position is the Midpoint of Taurus, one of the four Power Points of the Zodiac, aka the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.  Prior to our current Precession of the Equinoxes, these were the locations of the four Royal Stars of Persia.  In mid-Taurus Aldebaran, greatest Star of all, heralded the Persian Spring, and signified Success as long as strict Integrity and Honor was followed – our Authenticity corner in the GQ.

Today, post-Precession, the Star Menkar – A Victim of the Unconscious – occupies the Midpoint of Taurus.  I’m not making this up; check Solar Fire or Bernadette Brady!  What a “coincidence,” that [Liberation from] our Victimhood by the Perp in the Unconscious occupies this Location.  The Unconscious is non-Dual; in the Unconscious Victimhood and Liberation from Victimhood are the same Energy, differing only by whether heads or tails is showing.  As Conscious Beings we have the Power to Choose, so I Choose Liberation.

The other “weak link” in the GQ is asteroid Hopi.  As an asteroid, it would normally vacate its position in about two weeks.  But Hopi turns Retrograde on 24 January, so Hopi remains within Sensitivity from December through February at the very least.  There are very slow-moving “planets” in all of the other corners – Varuna, Ixion, OR10, and Menkar, which moves only at the speed of Precession.

It also helps to rank your Discomfort or Doubt before and after Tapping.  A “scale of one to ten” is typical, but you can use anything you want – “one to a hundred” might work better, especially if you’re able to let the number come to you instead of having to “compute” it.  If one Tapping sequence increases your Comfort or Willingness to Receive even 2%, that’s a solid sign that you’re moving in the right direction.

Let your Tapping phrase evolve as you use it.  When you finish one Tapping sequence you may think of different approaches or entirely different phrases that will make a positive contribution to what you’re trying to Change.  While some folks also add positive phrases, and while negative phrases may be contrary to many suggestions, Tapping uses negative phrases on purpose, because you’re expressing the negativity you’re Really Feeling.  Simultaneously activating the Meridians brings your Energy back into Balance so that the negativity is corrected automatically.

If you don’t want to spend a lot of time explaining yourself, you can Tap in public, or in other situations where movement would be inconvenient, by Imagining each of the nine Tapping points as you repeat your phrase silently.  Intention follows Attention.

Gary Craig, who adapted this version of Tapping, frequently says that our Limiting Beliefs are like three-legged stools.  They may not appear to be moving at all, but once we Tap out one of the legs, the whole structure topples.  Tapping, Imagination, and Persistence make an unbeatable threesome.

Present Moment Plus One

Wouldn’t having a good cry count for letting go as well as tapping?  What does tapping actually do to feelings?  Numb them out or what?

A good cry, especially if it’s spontaneous, is great for Letting Go of Tension of any sort.  Lots of impromptu sobbing going on in this neck of the woods, often with “no good reason,” or with irrelevant justifications.

Tapping is a form of Accupressure.  You’re tapping on the ends of several Energy Meridians, and the impact is to Balance and Center your Energy.  Folks tend to naturally fall into two categories – “Chemists” and “Physicists.”  “Chemist” types think Matter is the Bottom Line, and don’t understand Energy any more than Extroverts understand Introverts.  “Physicist” types know that it’s really about Energy, and that Matter is just a shadow of Energy, as Plato suggested.

Donna Eden and Barbara Brennan have written many excellent books on the Huper Energy System.  Muktananda’s Play of Consciousness is a great introduction to Energy.  Here’s another…

Or search on “Chakra” in Amazon.  Many “diseases” and afflictions can sometimes be Healed in an instant by creating shifts in one’s Energy, as Accupuncture and Homeopathy (which works on Energy Frequencies) amply demonstrate.

When our Energy is Balanced, and we’re Centered and Grounded, Emotions become valuable sources of information, as do thoughts.  When either Emotion or thought Overwhelms Consciousness, we lose our Center and access to our all-important Intuition.  Resistance strengthens what’s Resisted.  

“A good cry” is an example of another good technique – replacing Resistance with Surrender.  The problem is Belief.  When either thought or Emotion is out of Control, it makes great entertainment.  But if we Believe the content of either, we can make Decisions that become Limiting Beliefs that can hold us back for decades and Lifetimes.

No, Tapping doesn’t “numb out” our Feelings.  Emotional Overwhelm, drugs, thought, programming, Culture, Horror, Alien invasion or abduction, and Minnesota can do that, but not Tapping.  Tapping Centers us so we become able to Feel our Emotions, give them their rightful place as Instincts or Values, receive the Information in them, and put it in Perspective along with all of the other Information we have from our thoughts, Intuitions, observations, Limiting Beliefs, and other sources.

Just kidding about Minnesota, in case you missed Garrison Keillor’s final show.

My favorite Tapping example is waking up in the middle of the night in Fright – Did I hear a crash downstairs, or did I just Imagine or Dream it?  What if it’s a bugular?  When this happens, I leave my Body, and what remains is kind of an electrified shell.  You don’t need to physically Tap – Energy follows Attention.  So you can Imagine tapping, you don’t even need to rock the bed.  Within one or two rounds of pretend Tapping I’m back in my Body where I can weigh the odds objectively.  It hasn’t been a Boogieman yet.

The impact of Tapping isn’t limited to the non-Physical.  One of my favorite uses is when I have to travel for the day, am getting ready to leave, and I want to krap first, but I don’t have time to wait around for normal peristalsis.  I Tap on “Even though my poop is slow, I deeply and completely Love and Accept myself.”  It works every time.  As Nick Ortner says, “Try it on Everything.”

Another reader asks…

“Did you have an astrology context for sending this one out?  I sure am experiencing a ton of impendingness.”

My main reason is just the sheer amount of Uncertainty and Change we’re in the midst of while Mercury (mind) is Out of Bounds (Strong).  Anxiety can just Feel like Butterflies in the Belly, till the mind gets involved.  Once that happens, the mind goes into Helicopter Trips – What if this, What if that, What if those, O My!  Wop wop wop wop wop, as the blades go ’round and ’round.  Perfect for Mercury Out of Bounds.

The Mars Yod from Eris-Uranus-Mnemosyne and Chaos-Vesta is also more than enough to freak anybody out, even if Mars wasn’t in Scorpio.  Like having little jet engines on the tip of each blade.  We also mentioned the Pholus-Ixion-Quaoar-Galactic Center Stellium.

Emotions are contagious.  When we get amped up in Emotional Overwhelm, the neighbors Feel it and have to fantasize their own reasons for what they’re Feeling.  In fact, often when we’re struggling to intellectualize our weird Feelings, they aren’t ours at all, they’re the neighbors!  If we want a Stable Planet, we all have to Take Full Responsibility for our Emotions, especially Anxiety and Blame.  Otherwise, we make Other Folks Live them.

Plus, the Full Moon chart is Amazing, so we need to be ready.

Upper Limits

Back in the 1980s Gay Hendricks came up with the very useful concept of Upper Limits – when we’re Changing faster than the Body-as-a-Whole is comfortable with, it will try to slow us down, and we often interpret that as a warning that we’ve taken a wrong turn.  I worked pretty hard back then to understand his approach to Upper Limits, but as I recall, Breathe and Rest were the two major pillars.

Step One: Focus on What you Want, not on What you don’t Want.  This step is critical, don’t skip it.

If that’s hard, start by finding something you can be Grateful for.  Running Water.  Hot Water.  Clean Water.  Enough Food, or even some Food.  A roof when it Rains.  A flush krapper.  A little less Pain than last week.  Make a short list of things you aren’t Anxious about.  The other shoulder doesn’t hurt.  Someone said a kind word to you last month.  You have a comfortable chair.  Anything will do.

Good start.  Now make a short list – several things – of what you Don’t Want.  Doesn’t matter if you’re already afflicted with it, or if it’s just threatening, or if you’re Anxious that it might threaten.  Give each of them a number, 1 to 10, 10 being “I’d Rather Die,” and 1 being “Oh Bother.”  Tap on each of them a couple times: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QzVd6Ww0as4 if you need a review.  Then give them numbers again, 1 to 10.  Any reduction?  If not, circle that one, you’ll have to come back to it later.

Now make a short list of what you Do Want, several things.  They can be an inch away or Pie in the Sky, no matter.  Give them numbers, 1 to 10, 1 being “That’d be cool” and 10 being “I’ll Die without That!”  Make a short note about how you’ll Feel when you get each one.  In descending rank order (starting with your 10), for each one, take a minute and practice Feeling exactly that.

Step Two: Focus on What you Really Want.  Take your top Want and really Feel how it’s going to be when you’re able to Receive it.  Touch it.  Smell it.  Hear it.  Taste it.  Embrace it.  See it.  If your second Want is close to your top Want in number, do the same with it.

Step Three: What has Stopped you from Taking What you Really Want a long time ago?  Your underprivileged upbringing?  Guilt?  Your Significant Others?  Fear?  Your Belief that it’s happening to you?  Your Mother’s Ghost?  Do you Deserve it?  Are these reasons external to you, or internal?  Tap on a few of your Stops.  Bring them inside; if it’s a Bully that’s been Stopping you, recognize that it’s your Unwillingness to Confront, or your Belief that you’d be worse off if you Confronted, or your Hopelessness.  Rather than spend a lot of time on this, take notes.  This is important, so you’ll want to come back to it later.

Step Four: Focus again on What you Really Want.  Take your top Want and really Feel how it’s going to be when you’re able to Receive it.  Touch it.  Smell it.  Hear it.  Taste it.  Embrace it.  See it.  Notice if it’s any easier or deeper than it was in Step Two.  If it is, make a note to repeat Steps Two and Three later.  If you want, do the same with your second Want.

Step Five: Aim Higher.  What if you could have more of What you Really Want, or What you Really Want with a lot of bells and whistles?  Feel how that’s going to be when you’re able to Receive it.  If you Change your mind and decide that what you Really want is something else entirely, great!  Feel how that’ll be when you Receive it.  Any Stops?  Take notes so you can come back to them later.

Step Six: Now Aim a lot Higher.  Stay with What you Want, but get ridiculous about it.  You Wanted a Mate?  Imagine having three!  A house?  Make it a mansion with its own caretaker, and a luxury RV with professional driver besides.  World Peace?  Go for Galactic Peace, or Universal Peace.  You Wanted Good Health?  Go for Good Health and Superpowers.

At this point in our Timelines, this is where we need to be.

The dwarf planet Chaos, which symbolizes Unlimited Potential, turns Direct on 29 February a few minutes after 3pm PST, 11pm UT.  It’s Stationary (at it’s most Powerful) now.  It’s in Gemini (Mutation).  No better time to nurture Huge Changes than when your Infinite Improbability Drive is firing on all cylinders.  Did you think Douglas  Adams wrote fiction?

The Chaos Station Squares Chiron, so there’s great potential for Discouragement or even Despair, but far greater potential for Miracles when we Empathize with any Discouragement we feel.  Chiron’s moving through Pisces, where it’s churning up every Emotional component of our Limiting Beliefs and exposing them to the Sun, which will sterilize them.

The asteroid Juno, which symbolizes The Growing Edge of our Consciousness, turns Retrograde on 2 March at a few minutes before 3am PST or 11am UT, meaning it’s Stationary (at it’s most Powerful) now.  This occurs at the Midpoint of Scorpio – one of the Strongest points in the Zodiac, particularly adept at turning over rocks and diving deep to uncover hidden motives.  No better time to remove Limiting Beliefs and Grow your sense of the Possible.  And Chaos will still be Stationary.

Between the Full Moon and 8 March, a Quintile between Pallas (Boundaries) and Vesta (Unconscious Beliefs and Limits) forms the base of a Quintile Yod focused on Jupiter (Expansion).  The Quintile Yod says that It’s Really Important to Pay Attention to Learning This!  Learning what?  Learning to Expand our sense of Self by stretching our Boundaries to Let Go of Limiting Beliefs.  Jupiter is in Virgo, and Virgo is about Disassembling the Ego in order to make Space for Growth.

Jupiter completes a T-Square with Chaos and Chiron, focused on Chaos – Expanding our Discouragement and Overwhelm about the sheer quantity of Possible Futures we face, and Expanding the incredible Potential for Miracles waaay beyond what we can imagine!  We just have to stretch into them.  While it’s a few Degrees out of orb, Saturn (The Most Important Thing) completes the Grand Cross – so it’s our Willingness to Focus our Attention on what we Want to Create that will Co-Create the Big Shift.

The Most Important Thing that the Lizards are here to Teach us, is that Crisis breeds Opportunity.  Read Naomi Klein’s Shock Doctrine and Tom Perkins’s New Confessions of an Economic Hit Man, and turn them on their heads – like it or not, Crisis is here, and likely to remain till 2020 (when Saturn Initiates Jupiter), What are WE going to do with the Opportunity?  Do we have enough cumulative Attention to Focus on What we Want and Shift the Planet away from Greed and Competition, and back toward Community and Collaboration?  Do we have enough Self-Love to Create what we Need for our own personal Peace, in order to have Loving Attention to spare for the Planet, so we aren’t just Projecting our Anxiety?

Jupiter meanwhile is moving toward an Initiation of the North Node (Mission and Deepest Desires) – Expanding our sense of What we Want and Where we’re Going.  That’ll happen in June, close to when Eris Initiates Uranus and we come face to face with all the ways we’ve been forcing the True Self to Hold Back.  Jupiter and the North Node are now two Degrees apart – Conjunct, in other words – meaning that we can’t tell the difference between them.  The more Work we do with our Wants and Stops now, the easier June will be, and the impact will be exponential.

  • 11pm 1 March till 7am PST 2 March, Moon over Saturn corner of the Grand Cross
  • 11am PST 6 March, Moon over Pallas
  • 11am till 9pm PST 8 March, Moon over Chiron corner of the Grand Cross
  • New Moon at 6pm PST 8 March Conjoins Chiron, stretching the Grand Cross into the rest of March

If you focus on what you Don’t Want over the next several weeks, you’re going to be miserable, because you’ll be wallowing in everything you’re going to have to Give Up in order to Grow into What you Want.  If you focus on your Pain about having to Give Up what you Don’t Want but you like better than the Unknown, that’s fine – but Witness it and Embrace it.  Put All of your Attention into the center of your Pain, and leave it there until the Pain melts away.  Or step back and “You poor Sweetheart” yourself to Death.

This is, after all, a colossal Ego Death.  Re-read our Full Moon readings, Heavy I and Heavy II.  The World is Changing fast, and even when we stand up our arms aren’t long enough to reach the cord to ring the driver to let us off.  Focus on What you Want to Create, be Loving and Gentle with every Resistance you encounter, be especially Loving and Gentle with your Grief about what you’re Giving Up, but stay Present with the realization that what you’re Creating will be far better than what you’re Giving Up. 

Remember that Confusion is the first Stage of Growth, it means that your rigid mental structures, which are the intellectual rationalizations for your Limiting Beliefs, are starting to break down.  Try to avoid talking yourself out of Confusion.  Don’t forget Curiosity.  “I Wonder how the devil we’re going to pull this off!”  It is WE – we’re in this Together!  Curiosity is next to Love, as both eschew Judgment, and we know that Love is greater than Hope or Faith.

Not only are the relevant Changes happening in the Unconscious, but they’re shifting the Future, and most of us most of the time aren’t able to see either.  There will be plenty of time for Planning, Doing, Executing the details of our Manifestations as we go forward.  Now is the time for PIAVAing the Big Picture of What we Want our Manifestation to look like, and most of all, Lovingly and Gently Letting Go of all of our internal obstacles to Receiving what we Really Want.
