We can’t get much better Grace than having Lord God Ganesh, Out of Bounds (Amplified), looking over our Mars-Chaos – both Amplified – Challenge at the 20-22 March 2023 Heracles-Aries Equinox New Moon. Nevertheless it will still be a Sterling idea to Remember to Ask, “Lord God Ganesh, Please Remove All Obstacles to” Whatever You’re Working On, even if you don’t Remember till after you encounter an Obstacle…

So what sort of Challenge might we Expect? While we think of Mars as Action, it never hurts to be on the Lookout for Anger when Mars is Lit Up, and as Repressed as our Unlimited Potential (Chaos) has been, we undoubtedly have a decent-size Reservoir of I-Coulda-Been-A-Contenda! Anger inside us. If we don’t have such a Personal Stash, no big deal, just reach into the Unconscious for a helping of the Universal Dissatisfaction with Programmed and Karmic Limitations.

Anger is an excellent Motivator for Acting to Set Boundaries against Abuse and other Limitations. You want Anger to be a Motivator, not a Modus Operandi. While there may be times when Picking a Fight serves your Needs, it’s not usually the most Effective Strategy, unless you’re the Aspiring Beta Dog in a Wolf Pack and you Believe you can Win. As a Doorway into Repressed Unconscious Contents, though, Anger can be an Excellent Tool. When was the last time you were inspired to call someone an Idiot and Wish them Unwell?

If you forget about that Idiot and trace your Irritation back to More Significant Origins, you may tap into Ancient Karma that’s Ready to be Let Go Of. War Criminal Pootin’, for instance, Believes he’s Avenging his Ancestors in Ukraine, but the original Kievan Rus was founded by Swedes and Lithuanians and Cossacks, among the many races that had crisscrossed the Breadbasket of Eurasia over the centuries. As they say, Justice is spelled “JustUs.”

When we regard any and all Obstacles as Teachings, it’s easy to see that Repression of our Unlimited Potential has served to Ground us in our Animal Nature, as part of Hybridization between Animal and Spirit. We’re too Hupercentric to accord the same Hybridization to other Critters besides our own twisted species. The Mutual of Omaha Wild Kingdom TV series Programmed my generation to Believe that Nature is “Red in Tooth and Claw” in order to sell us Life Insurance.

The Obstacles Ganeshi has been Strategically leaving in place hereabouts are excellent Reminders that For Manifestation to Work, We Need to Start with Gratitude and Hold High Vibrations, not Start with Expectation and Indulge Disappointment. When we aren’t ready to Receive, the Universe always Answers our Requests Initially with Illustrations of What Else We Need to Let Go Of. It may not be enough to Want It So Bad We Can Taste It, we may also need to Raise Our Vibes to a Higher Level.

Chaos OOB (Unlimited Potential Exaggerated) Initiates Mars OOB (Amplified Action) 22-23 March 2023 (PDT 10:55 pm 22nd, GMT 5:55 am 23rd, IST 11:25 am 23rd, AEST 3:55 pm 23rd) in 29 Gemini (Embrace of the Unconscious to Bring Light), adjacent to the Fixed Star Betelgeuse (Focus on Achievement and Discovering The Hollowness of Being Outer-Directed). Of course we can’t Manipulate the Unconscious Directly, we have to PIAVA or Petition it. The Cycle lasts 18 months, till 11 September 2024. The Waxing Square, when the Cycle goes Mainstream, occurs 31 August 2023, from 3 Libra (Larger than Life, but sometimes Missing Important Details).

Mars OOB enters Cancer (Nurturance, Compassion) 25 March (PDT 4:45 am, GMT 11:45 am, IST 5:15 pm, AEST 9:45 pm). 1 Cancer is Surrender to Spirit, and of course is also adjacent to Betelgeuse (Focus on Achievement and Discovering The Hollowness of Being Outer-Directed).

BST (British Summer Time) replaces GMT at 1am 26 March (GMT 1am becomes BST 2am).

The Moon goes Out of Bounds (Panic is more Likely) over the Northern Hemisphere 26 March (PDT 12:46 am, BST 8:46 am. IST 1:16 pm, AEST 5:46 pm) in 4 Gemini (Compulsively Drawn Toward the Ephemeral) till 31 March (PDT 6:41 am, BST 2:41 pm, IST 7:11 pm, AEST 11:41 pm) in 8 Leo (A Charmed Life on the Edge between Pride and Modesty, with Need for Vigilance against Jealousy).

Ganesa OOB (Remover of Obstacles on Steroids) Initiates Mars OOB 6-7 April (PDT 6:37 am 6th, BST 2:37 pm 6th, IST 8:07 pm 6th, AEST 12:37 am 7th) in 7 Cancer (Returning to Source), adjacent to the Fixed Star Mirzam (An Embodied Mysterious Message). The Cycle lasts 3 years, till 19 May 2026 (UT 17:47). The Waxing Square, when the Cycle goes Mainstream, occurs 1 February 2024, from 22 Capricorn (Surrendering Personal and Ancestral History).

Zircon, one of the most Ancient of Crystals, is a good Stone to Contemplate to Gently Touch Deep Anger, and to Ground one from Overwhelm. Zircon is a simple Zirconium Nesosilicate, the “Nesos” being Crystals with their Silicate units occurring in isolation, not in pairs or sheets or rings, making the Mineral very Dense because the Silicates can be packed more closely. For the same reason, Zircon is more Long-Lived than most Minerals because its Hardness, and lack of Cleavage Planes in the Crystal Structure, makes it almost indestructible. It’s often Radioactive from Thorium or Uranium contaminants, and always contains some Hafnium substituting for the Zirconium. Rogue Neutrons pass right through Zirconium, but stop cold at Hafnium. So Zirconium is used for the Fuel Rods in Nucular Reactors, and Hafnium for the Control Rods. Both are mined from Zircon Sand. The transparent blue Ziron Gems are created by heating natural Zircon.

If you lean toward the Passive-Aggressive, or prefer that as your method of Venting Excess Anger, you probably want to Contemplate Amblygonite instead. It’s a Phosphate of Aluminum and Lithium or Sodium. It’s an excellent counterpoint to Intense Mental Activity, and Calms Nervousness of any kind.

Heavy Northern Spring/Southern Fall

Spring in the North and Fall in the South officially begin when the Sun crosses the Equator on it’s Northward journey, thus by definition in Tropical astrology entering Aries, 20-21 March 2023,¹ but it’s the Moon that Triggers our Experience of astroevents, and the New Moon, occurring in the first Degree of Aries almost a full day later,² is our Real benchmark.

As we mentioned in the previous post, “In her latest blog post at https://walkinginbothworlds.com/2023/03/09/the-final-frontier/, NathaJay says, ‘If we wish to quickly land on our highest timeline, we must consciously align with our own Higher Self.‘ ” In our post, we related that to the then-simultaneous Station (Enhancement) of dwarf planet Chaos, which means not Disorder but our True Self when stripped of our Programming and Karma, aka our Unlimited Potential, or what can be called our Higher Self or Soul Self, our Wholistic and Holographic Connection to Source. Chaos is Out of Bounds, or Amplified.

It’s not what she actually said, but when I read that in NathaJay’s blog, while War was Escalating and Banks were Failing, what I “heard” in my head was a warning that 3D may be about to get pretty Scrambled, and we may need our 5D Skillset – “our highest timeline” – sooner than expected. The Equinox New Moon is Merged with asteroid Heracles, One of the Hit Men that Dr. Zeuss sent out to Assassinate the Symbols of Feminine Power. It’s no surprise that Heracles would attend the Funeral of the Patriarchy, with its signature Power-Over Wars and Banks.

The major Challenge in the Heracles-Equinox New Moon chart³ is the Initiation of a New Cycle between dwarf planet Chaos Out of Bounds (Our Unlimited Potential Amplified), and Mars Out of Bounds (Exaggerated Actions and Emotions), in 29 Gemini (Embrace of the Underwhere to Bring Light), Watched Over by Lord God Ganesh, Remover of Obstacles (asteroid Ganesa). That’s Intense and gets complicated, so we’ll plan to talk about it in more detail in the next post.

November II – Let My Money Go

That described our Adventures in Self-Knowing, Self-Empathy, and, if we do it “right,” Curiosity and Wonder; this extends till November 10.   We have several other interesting processes going on early in the month as well.  Then things get pretty busy Mid-month.  We get to meet a couple more of the new dwarf planets up close and personal, though we’ll have to squint to distinguish their influence from our more familiar planetary friends, as the events pile up on one another.   The Galaxy is still handing down some pretty firm instructions that if we want to jet-propel our happy Survival in the Future, we need to Let Go of what we don’t really need, especially Beliefs that no longer serve us, and Identities based on Privilege, but “stuff” too.  This Energy will be with us for the rest of the year.

The Quaoar-Chariklo-Hylonome (Survival Rules-Beauty and Charm-Ego Death) Stellium on the Galactic Center (Headquarters) is still T-Squaring (Mastery through Challenge) the Nodes (Linear Time), with Vesta (Unconscious Beliefs) sitting on the South Node (our Habituation) and Makemake (Manifestation) on the North (our Destiny, should we choose to accept it).

Some big Relationship Transformation are upon us, especially our Relationships with our Self, as Fear subsides and we realize that we could leap into Infinite Impossibility by taking more Responsibility for our Pathological Genius.  If we don’t jump at this opportunity in the first few days of the month, New Information may arrive by the end of the first week to catapult us out of our Lazy-Boy.  If you missed our recent article on Pathological Genius, look under “Path…” in the “Categories” column to the right; it’s a loaded term that you don’t want to misinterpret.

Venus and Mars (Heiros Gamos, or Union of the Inner Lad and Inner Lass) Conjoin on 2 November.  It’s not an Initiation or Can-Opener; that occurred last spring, and Venus is just catching up to Mars after her Descent of Inanna.  The Cycle is 2 Aries, “A comedian reveals human nature: The capacity to look objectively at oneself and other.”  They aren’t alone in their Lovebed (Your mother’s ghost stands at your shoulder, but Ixion is involved, so you know somebody’s going to break the rules): the Conjunction T-Squares the Opposition between Chaos (Unlimited Potential) and Pholus-Ixion (Responsibility-Rascal), and Trines Sedna (Action Taken out of Fear).

The Venus-Chaos and Mars-Chaos Cycles are at their Waxing Squares, or the place where they become permanent.  Venus-Chaos is “A large archaic volume reveals a traditional wisdom” (19 Gemini, April 2015) and the Mars-Chaos Cycle is about “A modern cafeteria displays an abundance of food, products of many regions” (20 Gemini, June 2015).  Great to have that option, but Eating Local is more Sustainable.  The Squares to Pholus-Ixion are Waning – Water under the bridge.  We’ve already invested our Passions in our Pathological Genius; now it’s time to sit still and watch what happens.  Meanwhile, more swingers want in…

On 6 November (while Venus crosses the North Node and lights up the Nodal T-Square), Haumea (Rebirth) Opposes Eris (Revelation of Denial – Epiphany if you’re open to it).  This isn’t a Can-Opener either; that occurred last November – keep a journal?  These two will dance together till the end of the decade.  Venus-Mars makes a Quincunx Bridge (Curiosity helps a lot) to this Opposition, and the two Oppositions (Haumea to Eris and Chaos to Pholus-Ixion, the base of the Venus-Mars T-Square) create a Golden Rectangle (Graceful Integration of the Dichotomies).  That is, Chaos Trines Haumea (we could be reborn as anything we Want – or anything we worry too much about if we Choose Anxiety over Intention) and Pholus-Ixion Trines Eris (the New Information is likely to permit – or force – us to Take Responsibility for our Pathological Genius).

This isn’t just another realignment with your paramour.  It’s a major Initiation into the Alternate Culture that will parallel Vulture Capitalism as it rides off into the Sunset with all the Money.  If we substitute a return to Community, Letting the Money Go could be a huge blessing.  The Money Economy might feel the Abandonment around 6 November.

Meanwhile, the Jupiter-Chiron Opposition Can-Opener is exact.  The Jupiter-Chiron Cycle is a powerful one.  The Initiation was May 2009 at 27 Aquarius, “Fresh violets in an ancient pottery bowl,” simultaneous with the famous Chiron-Neptune Opposition (look up “Chiron-Neptune” in the “Categories” if you haven’t been following us for years; this is Big) and with both Chiron and Neptune Standing Still.

When a planet Stands Still (aka is Stationary), it’s at the peak of its Power.  

Imagine Zeus (Jupiter) kneeling with head bowed while the God of the Unconscious Sea places his trident on one of Zeus’s shoulders, and the Ultimate Healer places one hoof on the other shoulder.  It’s as if the Patriarchy was swearing an oath to serve the Goddess’s generals.  This is a preliminary blooming of this development.

Let’s review briefly just to remind how Big this is.  The current Jupiter-Chiron event is a preliminary peak of the much larger Chiron-Neptune Cycle.  Chiron-Neptune Cycles are about Despair and Miracles in the Cultural Unconscious.  The current Cycle began with the Derivatives Crisis of 2007-8 (which the 1% and it’s lapdog media successfully blamed on the Victims of the 1%’s Greed).  The previous Cycle began on the very day that Japan surrendered at the end of World War II.  The end of War created a major Economic disruption, as combatants sought civilian employment, and Arms manufacturers sought alternative markets – the explosives became the artificial fertilizers and the poison gases became the pesticides and pharmaceuticals that have since shortened your lifespan.  The Cycle prior to that was Initiated when much-oversold bonds that financed the US transcontinental railroads collapsed.  It began what was then called the Great Depression, which was renamed the Long Depression in order to honor the Greatness of the Depression of the 1930s.  It lasted from 1890 till World War I.

Mars OOB 1 – Chaos and Ixion

A black Spinel Crystal.  Spinel is a Corundum (Ruby, Sapphire – Aluminium Oxide) with some of the Aluminium replaced by Magnesium.  Black Spinel is used to ground people who have witnessed horrors.

Out of Bounds

Turns out Mars is Out of Bounds while it’s negotiating this Centaur Gauntlet.  When a planet is Out of Bounds (“OOB”), it’s influence is much stronger than usual.

The Sun is overhead on the Tropic of Cancer on the Northern Summer Solstice, and overhead on the Tropic of Capricorn on the Southern Summer Solstice.  That’s what defines these “Tropics” – they describe how distant the Sun ever gets from the Equator.  The rotational axis of the Earth is not at a right angle to the plane of its orbit around the Sun, so this “tilt” of the Earth is what gives us the Seasons.  The Tropics are at 27:23 degrees North and South Latitude – think Hawaii, Mazatlan, Havana, the Sahara, Abu Dhabi, Kolkata, Hong Kong, Antofagasto, Rio de Janeiro, the Kalihari, Alice Springs, or Tahiti, and you won’t be far off.

Some planets go further north than the Tropic of Cancer and further south than the Tropic of Capricorn.  When they do, we refer to them as Out of Bounds, and we have to pay more attention to them than we otherwise would.  The easiest example is the Moon.  It goes OOB for a few days every two weeks for about eleven years, then for the next eleven years after that, it stays In Bounds all the time.  We’re more Emotional when the Moon is OOB.  It’s last eleven-year OOB cycle was 2001-2012.  The first OOB of that cycle began at 9am on September 11, 2001.  No accident there.

Mars went OOB September 29, and will be so till November 2o.  Have you or your associates been more volatile since September 29?

Consequently, we have to pay more Attention to Mars crossing all of these minor planets that are clustered near the Galactic Center.

Chaos

The first event in the Gauntlet occurs at 7pm PDT October 11, when Mars Opposes the dwarf planet Chaos.  Chaos doesn’t mean disorder, it means Potential.  It means the Unformed.  Like Water just before it boils; you can see the seething beneath the surface, but no bubbles or steam have risen yet.  Manifestation is implied, but it hasn’t happened yet.  Since Mars means Action, there’s likely to be a “Disturbance in the Force.”  Bubbles and steam at the very least, and probably a bundle of Unintended Consequences.  We’ll talk a bit later about Pandora and her Bottle.

Turns out Chaos is also Out of Bounds – that is, more pregnant than usual.  It went OOB in 2003, and will remain so till 2060.  Since our species will probably transmogrify or self-destruct in that span, that’s not surprising.  Chaos was also OOB from 1836 to 1923.  That corresponds fairly closely to the decline and dissolution of the Ottoman Empire.  While slavery certainly wasn’t abolished, it was at least declared illegal in many places during that span.

Timing

Since Mars is moving fairly quickly these days, we should look for the Mars-Chaos influence (and the others in the series) to be in effect for a little more than 24 hours prior to the actual event.  When we’re Conscious of an astroevent, the influence builds till the actual event occurs, then subsides rapidly.  When we aren’t Conscious of it, the influence can also continue to be strong afterwards, in this case another 24 hours afterward.

We’re referring to one degree of Sensitivity or Orb here; we could easily be using three degrees, in which case rather than 24 hours, the span of influence would be more than three days on both sides of the actual event.  With so many events going on in rapid succession, we’ll use one degree Sensitivity, so we have a hope of distinguishing one influence from the other.  With three degrees Sensitivity there will always be several things going on at once, which is likely to be very confusing.

The Moon, which often times the impacts of astroevents better than the event itself, is on the other side of the Zodiac.

Confusion

One of the most important thing to remember here, is that Confusion is the first sign of Growth in Consciousness.  Our Limiting Beliefs are like “rules” for how the Universe should behave, and when the Universe misbehaves, our first reaction is Confusion. 

If your first reaction to surprise isn’t Confusion, look for the Confusion underneath the Anger or Fear that does arise when you’re surprised; you’ll be glad you did, because it will change your Life for the better. 

It’s important to let Confusion stand, to NOT try to “figure it out,” because if you do you’ll end up denying the Change.  Our intellect is tightly bound to our Limiting Beliefs, so it’s almost impossible to Grow our Consciousness using the intellect.  We have to step beyond the intellect.

Mars-Chaos

Mars Cycles are in general about two years long.

This Mars-Chaos Opposition is a blooming of the Mars-Chaos Cycle that began in late June 2013 at 17 Gemini, “The head of a robust youth changes into that of a mature thinker.“

So we should be seeing Potential blooming into Responsibility.  There are arenas of my own Life that seem to fit that; how about yours?  On the World Stage?  We might permit ourselves to be less cynical about whether the recent climate demonstrations will bear fruit this time.  The Lizards seem to have gotten most folks to forget about Ferguson Missouri.  Have mature thinkers begun to prevail in Iraq or Ukraine?

The Phitile occurs December 5th.

We could set December 5 as kind of a deadline in our mind, to see whether any actual progress toward Sustainability occurs between now and then.  There is an important election in the US between now and then that could have a strong influence on the speed of the US’s descent into unapologetic fascism.

Mars-Ixion

The dwarf planet Ixion is named after the psychopathic Bad Boy of the Greek Pantheon – the classic avaricious self-absorbed Empathy-bereft CEO type.  Since Mars can manifest as unpleasantries of various sorts, it would be reasonable to expect Mars-Ixion to be nasty.  Plus, Ixion is also Out of Bounds.  Ixion’s OOB spans 2009 to 2056.  It’s prior OOB span was 1850-1918, not that different from the OOB spans of Chaos.

The 7pm PDT October 12 Mars-Ixion event begins a new Cycle. 

Since November 1, 2012 we’ve been in a 19-Sagittarius Mars-Ixion Cycle, “Pelicans menaced by the behavior and refuse of men seek safer areas for bringing up their young.”  The Cycle we begin now Initiates at 21 Sagittarius, “A child and a dog wearing borrowed sunglasses.”  Rudhyar expands on that weird image as “The use of imagination and make-believe in anticipating higher states of development.”

While for the last two years we’ve been retreating into our hermitages to escape the ravages of the Lizards, we may need to retreat into our imaginations to escape them for the next two years.  Pelicans are particularly Illuminated Beings.  In the US, the Department of Agriculture has just approved Dow to profit from the use of GMO seeds resistant to Agent Orange, as a solution to the failure of Round-Up-Ready GMOs to control weeds and increase yields.

A friend always says that Changing Frequencies will render you invisible to the Lizards.  The simple translation of that is to shift from Fear to Love, but not Love for the Lizards; rather, enough Self-Love that you’re willing and able to carry on your own agenda, non-confrontationally, without worrying about incurring their censure.  I’m sure that it’s possible for that to make one invisible to Agent Orange, but along the way is paved with suffering.

I think it’s more likely that the Greed of the Lizards will eventually push people over the line far enough to create effective political resistance.  Consumerism and propaganda in the US make it very hard to push anyone over the line.  The affair in Ferguson Missouri offered some hope for a conversation about militarization of the police in the US – the Lizards’ insurance against non-political resistance – but that conversation hasn’t happened.  The Lizards will have to get so outrageous that resistance to them becomes almost universal.  Regrettably, Mars-Ixion could help.

The Moon Opposes Mars and Ixion a bit after 10pm PDT October 12, and may influence the timing of any concrete manifestation of the Mars-Ixion event.
