Cancer Solstice 1

The way we look at it, the recent Stations of Makemake (symbol of Manifestation) and Veritas (symbol of Truth) will have a big Influence on the coming several months because their Energies were peaking at (and therefore heavily impacted) the Full Moon, and a New or Full Moon’s Energies influences the following several weeks, which includes the Solstice, which in turn impacts the following three to six months.  I could summarize what that Influence will be about, but it would be better if you re-read the Rebirth Full Moon series, and notice what pops out at you.  We will all take different portions of the Energies to the bank with us.

If we were to reduce all that to one sentence, though, I’d say that the primary Energy has probably Triggered and may continue to Trigger our Scarcity Issues and raise the danger that we’ll Act on them and Create more Scarcity.  The only thing we can Manifest from a State of Fear is more Fear.  In spite of many Challenges, the overall Energies were very Beneficial, so we have to read those Energies as Opportunities to Let Go of Our Scarcity Karma and Make Room for Greater Abundance in our Future.  We could Experience Scarcity or Abundance of Anything – Money, Security, Affection, Attention, Food, Happiness, you name it.

But the Biggest Influence on the Cancer Solstice will be the Station of Neptune shortly before the Solstice itself.  Neptune symbolizes Material Confusion and Spiritual Clarity, so as we’ve been wrestling with our Scarcity we’ve probably found it Confusing.  Part of us has likely been more than Willing to Continue to Operate Abundantly (Abundance means Having Enough to Share), while there has probably been another Voice warning us that our Largesse may be followed by a bill we’ll have Difficulty paying.  But neither Voice has been loud enough to Dominate.  Hence Confusion, as one part of us Acts one way and another part Acts differently, and we aren’t quite sure just Who We Are.

The Neptune Station occurs at 7:30 am PDT in 19 Pisces, and the Cancer Solstice at 9am PDT, in by definition 0:00 of Cancer.  That puts the Solstice Sun 101 Degrees ahead of Neptune, a Waxing Biseptile.  The Septile series of Angles are all about Timing, and the Biseptile is about the Timing of Either/Or Decisions.  Many of us tend to see Reality as a series of Snapshots rather than a Moving Picture, so unless some barker is screaming at us that their unprecedented Bargain expires in an hour, we may not think much about Timing.

But Timing is critical around Everything.  If our favorite Psychic tells us we’ll meet our Soulmate or our Benefactor in the Produce Department at Whole Foods, will we be present enough to inquire When?  What if they left three minutes before we got there, or we wander off to Frozen Foods two minutes before they arrive?  Would we even Ask, Do you mean this year?  Or this Lifetime?  Seven (Septile) is a lucky number for a good reason – it’s about being in the Right Place at the Right Time.

The Neptune Station itself presents a Challenge (the focus of a T-Square) to Distinguish between our Longstanding Desires (Jupiter in Sagittarius) and our Fleeting Intuitions (Asbolus in Gemini).  But the more Profound Challenge in the Neptune-Station chart is a Karmic one, a Challenge to Discern the Truth (T-Square focused on asteroid Aletheia) about our Karma and our Mission (South and North Nodes, aka the Dragon’s Tail and Head).  Our Karma or Held Emotions are marked as The Most Important Thing (South Node Conjunct Saturn), and our Mission is marked as Requiring Ego Death (North Node Conjunct asteroid Nemesis).

That merits repeating…

The Biggest Influence on the Cancer Solstice will be the Station of Neptune shortly before the Solstice itself.  This Neptune Station Challenges us to Distinguish between our Longstanding Desires and our Fleeting Intuitions, and to Trust our Intuitions about our Longstanding Desires.  But the more Profound Challenge in the Neptune-Station chart is a Karmic one, a Challenge to Discern the Truth about our Karma and our Mission.  And our Intuitions about our Longstanding Desires will give us an excellent education on  the Truth about our Karma and our Mission (the two T-Squares are one Sign apart, which means it’s about Pattern-Breaking).  Our Karma or Held Emotions are marked as The Most Important Thing, and our Mission is marked as Requiring Ego Death.

That should actually be no Surprise, as the Essence of Karma is that it Requires Ego Death to Transcend.  It’s a little heavier than, say, Reverting a Peanut-Butter-for-Lunch Habit.  But this Message says that The Time Is Now.  The Boon in the Neptune-Station chart is that our Dualistic mind will benefit us (Grand Trine in Air), particularly our Attention to our Longstanding Desires (Jupiter in Sagittarius).

Our interpretation of Jupiter in Sagittarius as our “Longstanding Desires” is a little indirect.  Jupiter symbolizes our Lust for Expansion, and our Desires certainly Expand us.  Of course our Resistance to our Desires makes it seem like they’ll Shrink us, but that’s just our Resistance.  Achieving a Desire puts us in that Empty place that Requires another Desire to replace the retired one, lest we Loose the Sense of Self that comes with a Directed Striving – which process is actually an Expansion.  it’s also a version of an Ego Death, but one that has an Easier Prognosis than those resulting from I’d Rather Die Than Feel That Again.

Sagittarius is about Letting Go.  It’s about Changes (Mutable) in our Spirituality (Fire).  Air and Fire Signs are related because mentality (Air) is the ladder to Spirit (Fire).  Our Consciousness Expands when we pry loose a bar in the Mental Birdcage that defines our Limitations.  Our Core Longstanding Desires are to Transcend those Limitations, but our Longstanding Desires as we perceive them ARE the bars in our Birdcage.  Yes, Neptune is about Confusion – need an example?

Suppose for instance we Crave Freedom from the Constraints of Limited Money.  We interpret that Desire as Wanting More Money.  But that’s not what Limits us.  What Limits us is The Belief that we Need More Money to Thrive.  That Belief is a bar in our Birdcage, a Mental-Emotional, probably Programmed, probably Karmic, Construct that Holds our Reality together.  Yes, Holds our Reality Together.  Contemplate Living without Money for a minute, and Feel all of your Structures crumbling around you.  The astrological symbol for the Glue that Holds Reality Together is the Moon, and sure ’nuff, the Moon is one corner of the Grand Trine (and Jupiter Kite) in the Neptune-Station chart.

So in Real Life, your Longstanding Desires are symbols for your Lust for Transcending your Limitations.  Now, that’s a Jungian Perspective, one that assumes the primary Drive in the Unconscious is the Urge to Wholeness, one that everyone who persists in reading this blog certainly has.  We don’t mean to imply that Everyone shares this primary Drive.  Others may be primarily Driven by, for instance, an Urge to Be Adulated, or an Urge to “drink tea, save animals, and nap,” as the tag on my Buddha Teabag suggests today.  We don’t want or need to project our Urge to Wholeness on anyone else, because that will only impede our Ascension.  In fact, trying to Influence or Judge anyone else’s Life in any way always impedes our own Ascension.

Here’s a quick review of what’s coming up…

 

♥ 22 November – Full Moon at 1 Gemini (9:30 pm PST). 

We’ve seen this Cuspal Action a few times recently, for instance https://astrobuss.wordpress.com/2018/11/02/fire-earth-air-4/. 

A major theme of this Full Moon is Choosing to Allow Chronic Physical issues to be Healed Instantaneously.  We have two major categories of Resistance to this – first, we don’t Believe it’s Possible because we’ve been taught otherwise.  And Second, when we do Allow this, it won’t be the only thing in our Life that Changes, so unless we’re Prepared for that, our Ego will Resist the ancillary Changes, and that will reinstate the Chronic issue that we’re “Comfortable” with.  Don’t for a minute think that Comfort and Victimhood can’t co-exist; we’re all a bit Proud of our Victim Postures, or we wouldn’t keep giving them Support.

The Moon Conjoins Lachesis (Consciously Choosing the length of a Timeline), and while the rest of the chart forms a bowl, North Node-Varuna (Mission-Life Force) is an outlier Reflecting all of the other planets.

We could also easily find that our Abuse Memories continue to plague us until we Accept the fact that it is Resistance to our Held Emotions and Comfort with our Karma that lock us into Dyspleasure.  This is a bit of a Gordian Knot, but for starters we can Strive to get Conscious of the ways we are Comfortable with our Karma, and we can Ask ourself “What Emotions do I Refuse to Feel?”

Mars-OR10 T-Squares the Full Moon, while Chiron (Despair and Miracles) Squares a Stellium of Karma (q.v.), Quaoar (Survival Instincts), and Pholus (Ability to Respond rather than React).

On the other hand, the Opportunity for Healing is Immense.

Klotho (Beginnings) Conjoins the South Node (Held Emotions), indicating that we may Begin to be Willing to Embrace what we’ve been Rejecting as “I’d rather Die than do that!” – or that our Held Emotions will Begin to bother us more, as Hidden Psychological Bugaboos will eventually go to great lengths to get themselves Revealed.  Since this Opposes Varuna-North Node, our Preference for continuing to Live our Karma as Physical Discomfort may get tested.

And Soul (Uranus) makes Blessed Angles to our PTSD (Mars-OR10) and to our Need to Take Responsibility (Karma-Quaoar-Pholus).  Remember that Responsibility means Able-to-Respond-to-Improve-Outcomes; Blame Lives in a totally different Universe.

The Biggest Configuration in the Full Moon chart is this Nose-Cone…

It’s a graphic illustration of the incredible Synergy between Beginning to Open Up to our Held Emotions (Klotho-South Node deep in the soup on the right) and Investing our Life Force in our Life Mission (Varuna-North Node on the left).  You can almost Feel the Energy bouncing back and forth like a laser till it reaches Escape Velocity.  Our Held Emotions obscure the very Skills we need in order to Energize our Mission, Skills we accrued in, or borrow from, Other Lifetimes.  The Other Lifetimes need not even be “our own” – when we’re Clear enough, we have direct access, through our Mitochondria, to All the Information in the Universe.  We Are after all All One.

 

♥ By the way, asteroid Karma moved from Sagittarius (Let My People Go!) to Capricorn (Just Fix It!) on 16 September (8pm PST if your Journal is that accurate).  Capricorn is more Difficult than Sagittarius in some ways.  In Sagittarius all we have to do is Let Go; the hard part is Realizing it.  Who would think, after a Lifetime of being ravaged by our Karma, that all we ever had to do was just Let Go of it!  In Capricorn we have to Work at it.  We might even have to Plan-Execute, but beginning with PIAVA will always give us a rocket start.

 

♥ 24 November – Neptune Station at 14 Pisces (5pm PST). 

Neptune’s Bottom Line is that it is characterized by Material Confusion but Spiritual Clarity.  Which is great as long as we Remember that Confusion is the first stage of Growth.  Mostly because our Childhood World was not Safe, our Programmed Reaction to Confusion is to Try to Figure It Out so we can find Safety.  Whether we succeed or not, this Act of Thinking kills our Growth and freezes us inside our old cage.  When Neptune is Lit Up, there’s no point in Thinking; you’ll never Figure It Out.  We’ll just get more Confused.

Till we switch to our Spiritual Eyes. 

The Neptune-Station chart is very Singular.  It offers tremendous Insight into what drives our Limitations, while making it Clear that to Grow into that Illumination, we’ll need to drop some Deep Judgments that Define us.  You know, them Ego Deaths we’ve mentioned occasionally.  Remember it’s not “I’d rather Die!” it’s “I’d rather Die.”  It’s not You that’s threatened, it’s your “I,” your Identity, your Ego.  The other 99.999% of You will continue just fine, and far better off than before your greatly-Exaggerated Demise.

Stationary Neptune Opposes Orcus (Oath-Making and -Breaking) and Squares Nemesis (Ego Death) and Hopi (Respect for All Things).  It’s also the focus of a Mjölnir Kite (yellow diamond) from Venus Square North Node (Values that Conflict with our Mission)…

Limitation is Created by Oaths, Vows, Promises.  Once we Forget that as Sovereign Entities we still have Choice regardless of our Oaths, or we Forget the Oaths themselves, our Limitations become our Karma.  Of course we still have the Choice to Step Out the Back Jack (Sagittarius), or at least Work At It (Capricorn) to just Let our Karma Go, but who Remembers that?  At least we aren’t Resolved to our Fate; that’s a Soul Death rather than an Ego Death.  “Wer immer strebend sich bemüht, Den können wir erlösen.”

Our Oaths morph into our Values, and then we really Invest Ego into them.  When we Betray our Values, we don’t just Betray whomever we Pledged ourself to, we Betray Family.  Betraying Family is like Banishment.  Unless we’ve done our Walkabout or Vision Quest, one of our strongest Limitations is that we don’t Believe that we can Survive without Family.  Our Values are up for review.

 

♥ 1 December – Vesta enters Aquarius (12:30 pm PST).

I think of asteroid Vesta as symbolizing our Bottom-Line Beliefs.  Our Values might be what we Strive for, but our Beliefs Describe the Edges of the World we Live in. 

One of our Strongest Tools for Growth is the Willingness to Suspend Disbelief. 

Capricorn is so hard-headed that Suspending Disbelief since late September has probably been Difficult.  Aquarius, which adores Wishful Thinking, should make it Easier to Try On New Beliefs like we would clothes, through late January.  Aquarius can however tend toward Fundamentalism – Believing that our Metaphors are literally True, which makes Other People’s Metaphors fake news.  We Grow by being able to Grok that Contradictions are a property of the Dualistic Mind, not a property of the World we Observe.  The Real World is Multifarious and Unitary, which Dualism isn’t capable of Understanding.

 

♥ While the Greeks invented Patriarchy, they continued to have deep Respect for Goddesses and their Magnetic Rituals.  The Romans on the other hand, pretty much institutionalized Patriarchy.  The Greek Hestia (which Conjoins Uranus as we speak) was Goddess of the Hearth, while the Roman equivalent Vesta was made Virgin Goddess of the State.  By the time the Popes got done reworking Roman culture, the Marys and their peers were very much also-rans.

The asteroids Aletheia (Greek for Truth) and Veritas (Latin for Truth) both orbit in a bit over 5½ years, Veritas taking a month longer for each full circuit.  Consequently, their Cycle together is three Centuries long.  The current Cycle was Initiated in December 2003 at 29 Capricorn, “A woman reading tea leaves.”  Aletheia and Veritas dance together until 2035, when Aletheia begins skipping ahead for the next several Centuries.  The previous Cycle spanned 1675 to 2003.

While the Impact will likely be subtle, we can presume that the New Cycle will be Stronger when Aletheia Leads Veritas, while the Old Cycle will try to reassert itself when Veritas Leads.  Aletheia Led December 2003-May 2004, January 2009-May 2010, and March 2014-May 2016, and will Lead again October 2019-May 2022, November 2024-April 2028, June 2030-May 2034, and from August 2035 on.

Since May 2016, the Latin Veritas has been Leading.  In October 2019, however, the Greek Aletheia takes the baton back, until 2022.  Aletheia may be a bit more likely to Enquire how someone else’s Opinions have evolved, rather than to simply label them as Wrong.  If that holds true, it would be a Blessing for the next US election.

 

♥ While Mercury goes Direct again at the New Moon on 6 December, the next Biggie is the simultaneous Stations of Chiron (Despair and Miracles) and Orcus (Breaking Oaths) on 9-10 December.  Those should help us ferret out the ancient Oaths which have stuck our Karma to us like flypaper and enforced our Limitations.  It’s worth noting that Recanting our Obsolete Oaths, Allowing our Held Emotions, gaining Awareness of our Unconscious Fears, and Recovering our Hidden Genius are really all just different parts of the same Elephant.

Then, finally, we get a week or so off!

New Province

We’re in a new Time Province.  There are still Flushbacks, for sure, but they’re different now, not as Grasping.  Saturn is Initiating Mars (2 April 9am PDT) as I write this; I’ll quote from the recent Survival post…

“The Saturn-Mars Initiation occurs on 2 April (9am PDT) at 9 Capricorn, “An Angel carrying a harp.”   This begins a two-year Cycle where this Angel will facilitate our Actions when our Actions Align with Being Responsive to our Survival and to the Survival of our Unique Genius.“

And yesterday (1 April 6pm PST) our Unconscious Beliefs (asteroid Vesta) joined the crowd in Capricorn.  The Mutable Signs (Sagittarius, Pisces, Gemini, Virgo) are about Change, which is often quite uncomfortable.  The Cardinal Signs (Capricorn, Aries, Cancer, Libra) are about Creating, which is usually more Fun. 

While the popular press lists Athleticism as one of Sagittarius’s main features, Sadge is really Spiritual Fire – Burning Away what is no longer necessary or optimal.  Exercise is the only way you get your Lymph moved, so its an important factor in Immunity.  Since Exercise can also mute Emotions, it can be Addictive to someone trying to Avoid them.  There is a correlation between Huper Males specializing in Physical Labor, and their dysfunction with Emotion, or as Dubya might have said, “to not even have one.”

The other big public keyword for Sagittarius is Travel, which has many implications for Letting Go of the Unnecessary, starting with Excess Baggage of all sorts.  Travel can easily raise Emotions and raise Opportunities for Letting them Go, teasing Held Emotions for instance.  While not as Emotionally Intense or Sticky as Pisces, which specializes in Waterboarding, all of the Mutable Signs are still hard work, whether you’re Letting Go or Avoiding.

Dwarf planet Ixion and asteroids Karma and Hopi are still in Sagittarius, and Jupiter will arrive in November to do a thorough Spring Cleaning.  The Flushbacks we’re feeling today are the early warning signs of the 7 April (6pm PST) Station of Karma, a Challenge to Let Go of all Obsolete Habit Patterns, especially those that are Self-Sabotaging.  It’s Heavied Up by sitting on the “Great Attractor,” an unknown Cosmic Entity at the Ides of Sagittarius that is pulling our region of the Universe toward itself hungrily.

Asteroid Karma has been crossing the first half of Sagittarius since mid-January, and will back over it until late July, then recross it till early October.  The first half of Sagittarius is about Letting Go of Other, Flushbacks of all the unsatisfying Scorpio Experiences we’ve had with Other People…

While I don’t expect the rest of April to be as Heavy as the last half of March, lots of things get Lit Up nonetheless…

• 1-7 April (till 6pm PDT), Karma (asteroid Karma Stationary Retrograde, 16 Sagittarius).  Remember, Karma is dead; any old Difficulties that arise are Opportunities to Banish the Hassle Forever.  The only thing you really need is to be in the Present Moment.  Maybe pinching yourself will help.  When Karma is Lit Up there are two Realities – the Sticky one you’re in, and the Present Moment.  Ask someone what year it is.  How Old would you be in that year, and How Old do you Feel?  Just Step Into the Current Year.
  

• 4-11 April (till 8pm PDT), The Life Force (Varuna Stationary Direct, 30 Cancer)
• 6-13 April (till 9am PDT), Self-Sovereignty (Hylonome Stationary Retrograde, 12 Capricorn)
• 7-14 April (till 7pm PDT), Truth (Veritas Stationary Direct, 25 Leo). 
• 12-15 April (till 2am PDT), Communication (Mercury Stationary Direct, 5 Aries).  These are going to be almost impossible to Separate; basically, we’ll be Rediscovering our Life Force by Communicating the Truth about our Self-Sovereignty.  Or Not, and likely ruing it.  To a large extent this will be Realizing-that-The-Most-Important-Thing (Saturn; see below) is Communicating the Truth about our Self-Sovereignty.
  

• 17 April (1am PDT), Pain Eases (Chiron moves into Aries).  This should be quite a Relief, as the Dilemmas we face for the next Decade will be more about How-to-Create than How-to-Endure-Painful-Emotions.  “You Poor Sweetheart, you don’t know How to do this, do you.  What if we could Make it Up as we go?”
  

• 10-17 April (till 7pm PDT), Priorities (Saturn Stationary Retrograde, 10 Capricorn).  Saturn does not mean Limitation and Deprivation; it means Focus and Concentration.  It can feel like Limitation if you’re Focused on what you’re Giving Up (or Not) rather than what’s The Most Important Thing in this Moment.  Realize that your Giving Up is only Temporary, till Saturn is done.  Our Trance Reformation (Pluto, see below) will make it feel Heavier than it is.

• 15-22 April (till 8:30 am PDT), Trance Reformation (Pluto Stationary Retrograde, 22 Capricorn)
• 16-23 April (till 6am PDT), Self-Confidence (Chariklo Stationary Retrograde, 20 Capricorn).  We won’t be able to Distinguish these two from one another, especially since they occur in almost the same Degree.  The trick is to be Confident that the Unknown Timeline you’re adopting is Better than the Known Timeline you’re Surrendering.  The sooner you Surrender, the Easier it will be.  Pluto Stations can feel like Swimming in Jello.
  

• 28 April (till 12am PDT), Emotional Processing Eases (Juno moves into Aries).  Our Challenges around Growth of Consciousness for the next two months will be more about Allowing Exciting New Vistas than about Letting Go of Attachment to Dreary Old Ones.

Unfortunately, we don’t get much of a break from the Pressure till late in the month.  But while it’s Busy, it should be Easier than the last few weeks have been…

“You can put your foot on the gas pedal and bring yourselves to a heightened sense of awareness.  You can choose to love more, to meditate more, to connect more with nature and Mother Earth.  You can reach out to other aspects of yourself.  You can reach out to higher dimensional beings.  You can be an active participant in the evolution of your consciousness, and you can steer the rest of humanity in that direction as well.

“You don’t have to sit around and wait for something to happen.  You don’t even have to wait for some grand, inspired idea.  Just stop what you’re doing from time to time and check in with how you’re feeling, how you’re vibrating.  Do some conscious breathing.  Meditate if you have to.  But just be sure you’re taking care of the evolution of your consciousness.”

Full Moon Scramble II

BTW, as of 11:30 pm PST 2 December, Mercury is Retrograde, till 22 December.  It backs across the last half of Sagittarius.  That’s the Gemini half of Sadge, promising more Change.  Mercury in Scorpio (16 October through 6 November) would have had us researching some topic exhaustively.  Then Mercury in the first (Sagittarius) half of Sadge, 7-15 November, would have us trying to shake ourselves loose from the conclusions of our research.  Sagittarius is about Burning Away what’s Unnecessary. 

Mercury in Scorpio wants Answers, but we know that it’s Wonder that Liberates us, not Understanding.  So we may have wrestled with ourself in early November, part of us Wanting Freedom, and the rest of us Craving Clarity.  This is what’s particularly educational about Cusps.  It’s an Either/Or, which always means it’s about Politics, Power, Judgment.  Which feels better, which is best – Freedom or Clarity.  With Either/Ors we always look for the “Coin,” right?  An Either/Or sticks us in one Dimension, a line, where we bounce between the two ends of the finite line. 

If we’re talking about something like Scorpio and Taurus, an Opposition, the Dance between Emotion and Matter, between Fearlessness and Beauty, it’s easier to find the Coin – it’s just Manifestation.  But Scorpio and Sagittarius are adjacent.  What’s the Coin between Ice and Fire?  We could say Water, but Water isn’t really a Dimension with Ice on one end and Fire on the other, it’s just what you get when Fire attacks Ice.  What if Ice wins.  What would you have then – Smoke?  You can see the Confusion.  But that’s what’s special about Cusps – Confusion is the first stage of Growth.

There’s a sense in which each Sign is a Reaction to the previous Sign.  Scorpio feels Compulsive, Sagittarius just Shakes It Off.  The Coin there could be Attachment.  There aren’t any Rules or Conclusions for this, you just make it up as you go along, because it’s your Growth and your Edges.  No one else’s.  And it’s different every time.  But when you move from an Either/Or to a Both/And, from a line to a “Coin,” you’re moving from Judgment to Inclusiveness.  That’s an important step toward Unconditional Love, toward Wonder and Mystery and Collaboration with the Universe.  Is there a sense in which you struggled with Attachment to something in the second week of November?

Then at the Ides of November we moved into the Gemini half of Sadge, till 2 December.  Chances are we didn’t know that we were being set up, that it was the first of three Adventures with these Degrees.  Usually when this first third of a triple Dance happens, we’re presented with what feels like a Problem, something that makes us nervous and inspires us to try to “Solve” it, or “Fix” it, or Change it, so we aren’t troubled by Anxiety anymore.  In Real Life, rather than in our mind, this is just Curiosity.  Western Culture trains us to need to squelch Curiosity, to come to some Resolution.  But Wonder is akin to Love, as they both Eschew Judgment.

So if we’re able to exit the Dualistic mind, we get to Wonder, to Detachment from needing it to be one way or the other, Letting it be both way at once, or even three or four ways at once.  Like watching a bonfire, watching the Flames Dance, uninhibited, as if no one was watching.  Now we’re getting somewhere.  How do we Feel while we’re watching the Flames?  Where is our Identity?  Are we the Wood?  The Fire?  The Air that the Fire needs to keep Dancing?

That’s where we are today.  Mercury has reached the End of Sagittarius, the End of the Gemini half of Sadge, and it’s slowed down and Stopped.  Our minds have Stopped.  Gemini’s about to go back and see what we’ve learned about Detachment, or about whatever Coin applies to your own recent Experience, your own recent intellectual Ruminations.  Can you tell the difference between your Experience and your Thoughts about your Experience?  Are you actually Living, in the Present Moment, or are you Thinking about it?  How many of your Senses are Engaged?  What does Identity Smell like?  Is Detachment Comfortable, or does it make you Anxious?

So for the next three weeks, while Mercury is Retrograde, we get to Explore these issues.  The movie has Stopped, and we get to get up and walk around in the Hologram, look at Attachment and Identity from many different Angles.  Try new things or Roles, things we’d never ordinarily Do or Be, just to see what happens when we do.

Meanwhile, Mercury has been Out of Bounds.  That means it’s Stronger than usual.  It went Out of Bounds on 9 November, and comes back In Bounds on 7 December.  So we’re doing some extraordinary Identity and Detachment work here.  We won’t put it all to bed till 10 January – once Mercury turns Direct again, it will be Dancing for a third time over this second half of Sagittarius – this Zauberisches Theatre, as Herrman Hesse called it, where we’re Free to Act Out any Role we Want to.  Try to Avoid Conclusions – we’ve barely begun to Explore.

You can see how strongly the Energy flows toward the Moon, toward Authenticity and Manifestation.  How can we be Authentic if we’re auditioning new Roles every few minutes?  That’s easy.  Authentic means Authentic in the Current Moment.  Consistency and Continuity belong in other Realms, not this one.  This is the Dance of Freedom, of Freedom to Be who we Want to Be in each Moment.

The Full Moon makes a Grand Trine with asteroids Nemesis (Ego Death) in Aquarius (Community) and Eurydike (Trust) in Libra (Meeting Other).  That puts the Sun (Essence) in Sagittarius (The Way Out is Letting Go) at the head of a Kite (Directed Grace, here Directed toward Essence).

We’re being Challenged to Open new doors into the Unconscious, into what lies beneath and behind our Limiting Beliefs, to Let Go of the Restraints that keep us from Respecting All Things, to be Present and Loving with the Truth of Memories that force us to alter our Self-Concepts…

Nemesis (Ego Death) Opposes asteroids Aletheia (Truth) and Mnemosyne (Memory), and the Opposition is T-Squared (Challenge to Mastery) by the Stellium (group of planets) of Jupiter (Expansion) and asteroids Vesta (Limiting Beliefs), Hopi (Respect for All Things), and Karma (Inertia).

Grace also flows from the Truth of these Memories…

A second Kite is formed on the Moon-Nemesis-Eurydike Grand Trine, this Kite focused on Aletheia-Mnemosyne.

And Greater Grace yet flows from Following our Guidance…

The two Kites make up five corners of a six-cornered Grand Sextile (Ease at Manifesting).  When a major Configuration like a Grand Sextile is formed but for one of its corners, that Vacant corner becomes the Most Important Point in the Configuration, because it’s up to us to provide the Energy of the Vacancy, in order to unleash the Full Power of the Configuration.  The Vacancy here is 11 Aries, “The ruler of a nation.”  We’ll ignore for now the implications of that Symbol around the Antichrist, and reframe it as Our Guidance.

However, the Stars won’t let us be so casual about it, as there is a Fixed Star sitting in the Vacany.  The Star Alderamin completes the Grand Sextile for us.  Bernadette, in Brady’s Book of Fixed Stars (p.104) tells us…

Alderamin “would relate to the concept of the successful king, raised to the heavens as an example for others to see and learn.  This star, therefore, could well talk of a different role model for male sovereignty.  At the moment the model, as a collective statement, is one of aggression.  At best it is simply out of step with planet Earth and the laws of nature and is thereby a destructive influence.  However, Alderamin could represent a balanced male energy in harmony with the feminine and the Earth but focused and concentrated, in contrast to the more intuitive energy of the feminine.”

We’re told that the essence of Conservatism with its focus on Separation and Me First (and often Me Only), is Attachment to Authority.  Conservatives are lost without someone to tell them what to Do and Believe and Say.  Authority can come from many sources.  If we render unto Mammon what is Mammon’s, we can seek our own Authority elsewhere.  This Full Moon will point each of us toward our own Authority.

Our “left brain” or analytical side likes to Believe that it thinks for itself, and enjoys following the Authority of Logic.  Logic, however, is a house of cards built upon Assumptions.  The nature of Karma is such that we often do not even know what our Assumptions are, we simply follow the Rules that we Believe will keep us Safe, without looking to see who is actually driving our Vehicle.  This Full Moon is a test for Authority of all sorts – the Authority of our Limiting Beliefs, the Authority of our Defining Concepts and Philosophies and Religions, and not least the Authority of our Communities and their Political Systems. 

We may even get to see whether the Ruler of a Nation is subject to the Authority of the Laws of that Nation, or vice versa.

 

Cause an Defect Full Moon I

As we said last time, things haven’t felt very satisfying or stable the last several days, as Jupiter Squares Pluto, amplified by the impending 7 August Full-Moon Partial Eclipse, prelude to the 21 August Big One.   The Jupiter-Pluto Cycle is about Expanding our Transformation, and the two Squares in the Cycle are about being Challenged to Master the next stage of our Transmogrification. 

Remember that Pluto astroevents are like floating down a big River.  You can hear the roar of the rapids ahead and you can steer to one bank or the other to portage around them, but if you try to paddle upstream you’ll just get swept backwards over the falls.  So Resistance is not only futile, it’s Self-Destructive.  Go with the Flow.

Of the two Squares in any Cycle (when the two planets are three Signs apart), the first or Waxing Square is about being Challenged to Let Go of the dregs of the previous Cycle and fully Commit to the present one.  The second or Waning Square is about Letting Go of any Attachment you’ve made to the current Cycle, because the Energies of the current Cycle are disintegrating.  Think Barnes & Noble, post-Amazon.

So, what are we Letting Go of – what’s the Current Cycle about?  It was Initiated 12 December 2007 at 29 Sagittarius, “A fat boy mowing the lawn of his house on an elegant suburban street.”  Always a puzzling Symbol.  Rudhyar’s interpretation seems oriented toward Materialism, Ego, and Status-Quo; he sometimes did that.  Sagittarius is itself about Letting Go, Spiritual Fire, burning away what’s Obsolete, before we start over on version 4.0 with a whole new Grounding, and the last Degree of Sagittarius should be a final big Catharsis. 

So the Symbol is Antonymous.  Being Non-Dual, the Unconscious Loves tko be Antonymous.  That’s why She has a reputation as a Trickster.  So what means it?  Well, the “elegant” neighborhood tells us we’re dealing with Materiality and probably Ego-Attachment.  Elsie Channeled these Symbols in the 1930s, so the boy’s heft is probably not a symptom of the modern Salt- and Sugar- and Chemical-laden microwaved synthetic GMO diet, but simply to Over-Indulgence.  Of course it could be genetic; the boy may be on his way to becoming the fastest Offensive Lineman in the NFL, but I don’t think the adjective “fat” would be the most apt word to describe that.

The “fat” conflicts with “mowing,” as we’re used to associating fat with inactivity.  So it’s easy to imagine the lad sweating and grumbling to himself.  Perhaps it’s a punishment – if he did it frequently he’d probably weigh less.  Every time I see that Symbol I can’t help but think of J.R. Simplot’s house in Boise, which is perched on top of a small hillock, 30-40 feet above the elegant suburban street, surrounded by lawn on the slopes, which seem not so far from vertical.  Boise is hot in the summer, when grass grows, so this kid is unlikely to make it through even one mowing without hospitalization.

Now, if we add to this image the fact that since 2007 we’ve seen a vast reorganization of modern Life, the Symbol smacks of the need for Sustainability.  Sustainability and Sustenance are really the same thing, and they imply Letting Go of the Unnecessary.  What it reminds me of is the ongoing Pholus-Quaoar-Galactic Center Stellium, which in no uncertain terms reminds us that we’re Responsible for the Survival of the Planet. 

So Bottom Line, this Jupiter-Pluto Cycle is about Letting Go of our Materialism, and the Waning Square of the Cycle is about Stepping Away from that Letting Go.  The nature of a Waning Square is that we don’t know what comes next.  Our Assignment is to clear away all Expectations so we can be Open to the next Cycle without preconceptions.  If we knew what the next Cycle was about, we’d contaminate it by viewing it through the eyes of the old Cycle.  In other words, our Transformation is no longer about Letting Go of Attachment to Materialism.  It’s about Curiosity and Wonder.

The Waning Square was Exact at half-past 10am PDT on 4 August.  When outer planets make Angles to one another, they often do it three or more times, which gives us Opportunities to practice.  This is the third time Jupiter has Squared Pluto.  We call the third time a “Confidence-Builder” event, because by now we’ve had our practice.  The first Waning Square was 24 November 2016; we call that the “Can-Opener” because if we don’t do astrology, we’re usually caught off guard by the abrupt shift in Energy.

So if you have a journal you can look to see what sort of Experiences you Enjoyed (or otherwise), internally and externally, Circumstances and Reactions, last mid-November, as the Energy was intensifying.  If you don’t have a journal you can look back to https://astrobuss.wordpress.com/2016/11/26/the-thousand-vignettes/ and the several posts preceding it.  It was a very busy time. 

The second Waning Square is usually when the faster planet is Retrograde, so we Experience the same Energies less Dramatically, giving us time and space to Learn more about them.  We call this second recurrence an “Exposition” because it Exposes more information about what’s going on.  Whatever we didn’t resolve at the Can-Opener (when we’re often Overwhelmed by the new Energy) or at the Exposition, will be Lit Up now, at the Confidence-Builder. 

It’s mop-up time around Materialism and Ego-Attachment to it.  There’s a big White House on the east coast of the US where all that’s being Acted Our for us in Real Time on Reality TV.  With a fat boy mowing the greens of his elegant suburban golf course even.

By now it should be abundantly Clear what The Most Important Thing in your Life is at this Time, as at 10pm PDT, in a couple of hours, Saturn reverses course to recross the Libra snd Virgo Duads of Sagittarius.

A Duad is two and a half degrees, or one twelfth of a Sign.

Of course Saturn begins this Reconsideration from smack dab on the Galactic Center, so most of what you’re Focused Upon is probably not Personal, but Galactic.  Think about that; sure, you Experience it as though it is Personal, but if it has a lot in common with what other people are Experiencing, is it Really Personal?

It makes a difference.  If you were the only unemployed person in town, for instance, you might start looking for a job or start a business.  But if two thirds of the folks in your town were unemployed, you’d probably Realize that what you need to do is to help increase Community, Self-Sufficiency, and Resilience.  Even if you’re unemployed “by choice,” is it because you’re the only one in town with the Guts and Pespective to Opt Out of an economic regime that serves only a very few, at the expense of the very many?

Conveniently, the Virgo and Libra Duads of Sagittarius are about Breaking Down the Ego so it can Meet Other.  Well, not many things are more “Other” than The Impersonal.  We usually think of Other as “Other People,” but you can also think of it as “Other than the Individual Ego.”  Community is a big part of Other.  You can see Community as your friends (FB or Real), your town, your country, your Species, your Galaxy, or Consciousness in General, including the Critters, the Plants, the Rocks, and the Stars.

Sagittarius as a whole is about Letting Go, and of course Saturn is about The Most Important Thing.  So we can say, without exaggeration or understatement, that The Most Important Thing These Days Is to Let Go of Our Old Notions about What’s Me and What’s Not.  That’s a very big assignment, with an almost infinite number of subcategories to choose from.  Think back over the last couple of days – which subcategory has been foremost in your Experience?

In the arenas where we’ve achieved or otherwise enjoy some sort of Mastery, the sense of relative Control feels exquisite.  But then there are the other arenas of Life.  And it’s not actually about Control, it’s about Surrender.  It Feels to me like we’re already into “Aries Week” – time to reread…

Bottom Line…

“It’s all about Healing, but if we’re Ego-Attached to any of our Wounds [or any of our Achievements], the Healing Crisis will have to involve Ego Death.  It wouldn’t be surprising if this is what we Took Birth for…  We could easily make the case that the primary astroEnergy bathing us in late 2016 and early 2017 [and especially in late March] is a Struggle between Fear and Self-Love.  Love is Soft and Warm, Fear is Cold and Hard.  Love Heals, Fear is the Foundation for continued Separation and Pain.  “Love” means Unconditional Love.  The sort of Love that Expects something in Return is another category altogether.”

If we’re Struggling to Manifest something and it’s not working, we have to Love Ourself for that too.  How do we Love a Wound without Expecting something – like Healing for instance – in Return?  Lots of Tapping, perhaps?  Poor-Sweethearting the part of ourself that’s craving the Healing?  Looking into the Funhouse Mirror to see if there are other things we’re actually craving more than Healing?  Other cravings which may be holding back the Healing – or which the Universe thinks we need to Heal more than what our Ego wants to Heal, and It’s just using the Frustrating Wound to get our Attention?

The contest this week and next probably isn’t directly about Self-Love versus Fear; it’s probably more about Self-Love versus Self-Abandonment and Self-Doubt.  We have very Powerful Skills we aren’t using – we may not even be Aware of them – and the Universe may be Teasing us our Frustration, trying to get our Ego to open up to the unseen.  If you find Confusion, know you’re on the right track.  Don’t try to Disfuddle yourself; instead, Relax into the Confusion.  

Don’t-Know Beginners Mind is where we want to Be.  It’s all about Letting Go of Expectations and Judgments.  As Michael Roads says (From Illusion to Enlightenment p.94),”I need you to fully realize that you cannot change and remain the same.”  You could also be Feeling Pressure from Others.  Dealing with their Expectations and Judgments is a whole ‘nother story, especially if you Let them have Power Over you, or if they Want Power Over you.  

Sappho – Self-Love – has its 26 March Station and turns Back before it reaches Lilith, but the Station is Conjunct (Merged With) Lilith – Self-Sovereignty.  It will be mid-November by the time Sappho catches up with Lilith again, but the Initiation is intriguing – 2 Capricorn, “Three rose windows in a Gothic church, one damaged by war: The necessary realization by any individual making a violent use of collective power that it will lead to the inevitable destruction of some of the values ensuring group-integration.”

The 25 March Station of Ixion – Forbidden Genius – is also still Conjunct Saturn – Focus, or what we usually refer to as The Most Important Thing, since it implies suspending all priorities of lesser import.  The nascent Saturn-Ixion Cycle began mid-February at 26 Sagittarius, “A flag bearer in a battle” – a flag represents an Identity, particularly a Group Identity.  

Ixion and Saturn are Channeling the Galactic Center here, so we can interpret this as the necessity of moving to our Galactic or “Fifth-Dimension” Identity, the one that emphasizes Collaboration, Cooperation, Respect for All Things, and Shared Abundance, rather than Competition, Success and Failure, Privilege and Abuse, Duality, and Greed.  But we do this by Shifting our Frequency, not by “battle” or “war” or “violence.”

The two Stations bracket Sagittarius – Sappho at the Beginning and Ixion near the End.  Sagittarius is about Letting Go and Letting the Goddess.  So along the way we may be Grieving the Loss of some cherished “Third-Dimensional” Ego props, like Expectation, Judgment, Control, even Mastery.  Try putting Awe in their place.

Shedding

Snagged on a poignant Vignette this morning, I caught myself beginning to indulge my Pain.  So I Shed – which feels somewhere between Opening my Angelwings and pouring a quart of (dry) water over my head – and in the process Realized that Stephen Levine’s writings would be particularly Powerful for us in this phase of our Transition.  My copies of his books aren’t handy, but I believe it was Healing into Life and Death or Guided Meditations, Explorations, and Healings that I was thinking of, probably the latter, the one full of incredibly Heart-Opening Guided Meditations.

There is a big difference between Forgiveness and Boundaries.  Forgiveness is a Discovery, not a Decision – you wake up one day and Discover that you aren’t Angry at them any more.  Which doesn’t mean you can’t Invite Forgiveness into your Life, as Stephen often does in these Meditations.  This is a Memory, not a quote…

“Whatever you may have done to Hurt me, Consciously or otherwise, I Forgive you.

“Whatever I may have done to Hurt you, Consciously or otherwise, I Ask that you Forgive me.”

I don’t think Stephen would mind if I misquoted him or borrowed his Work; he had an Ego as Inclusive as the Galaxy.  We’re approaching the first anniversary of his Transition out of his Incarnation…

Hurt is complicated – it can be a Commission or an Omission, or something else entirely, often “just” a Misalignment, where you’re trying to relate but you’re on different tracks.  But where there’s Pain, Inviting Forgiveness is useful.  This one is a quote, from http://levinetalks.com/Writings/single_post/ego-death …

And if you haven’t yet, and you can spare a week where you can’t do anything else but read (because it’s so compelling), Stephen’s Who Dies? is required reading for anyone.  Actually there’s a good chance you’ll find it to be The Most Important Thing you’ve ever done, so “sparing” a week might not be the right verb.

Back in the 1980s, when Pluto was in Scorpio (“The Way Out is Through”), before it crossed Sagittarius (“The Way Out is Letting Go”) into Capricorn (“Just Fix It Already”), a wonderful body of Literature was produced by the
“Recovery Movement.”  One of my favorites was Susan Forward’s Toxic Parents.  Nothing against parents, and mine were by no means the worst, but this book just does a great job of differentiating Forgiveness from Boundaries, and we need to understand this.

If this is your first attempt to Call your AG, it will Feel like you’re talking to an empty space.  If you Feel Tension afterwards, though, you’re making progress.

7-8 November

Surrendering To our Unique Genius – PIAVAing that the Ego shift from its Habit of Actively Suppressing our AG, to Becoming Fully Responsible To our AG.  Since the Habit is Unconscious (Programmed), and probably more than Current-Lifetime, we need to do this as a PIAVA.  “Great Spirit, may I please Lovingly and Gently Learn to Support and Defend my Unique Genius.”  

This may be a long process, and what will be most important will be Recognizing when and what you’re Called to Support and Defend, since it will be buried in the Unconscious.  The Lovingly and Gently part is important, because Ego Death will be involved.  Comfort yourself by knowing that the Ego that’s Deathing isn’t really You, it was installed from outside by someone else.  Your AG is really You.

Check in and Pay Attention at least daily.  Did you notice any shift toward something that felt Different, perhaps Guilt or Shame or Fear coming up?  Were you able to connect it to your AG?  If not, what did occur in your Emotions or thoughts or external circumstances?  PIAVA to see if/how it might be connected.  Do you need to PIAVA Clarity?  Modify your original PIAVA?

Pholus Initiates Venus, 3am PST 8 November, 26 Sagittarius, “A flag bearer in a battle.”  

Don’t make it a war, make it a Campaign to Collaborate with a suspicious Ally that doesn’t Trust you, but bear the flag of your AG.  When trying to tame a Wild or Abused Animal, you don’t pursue, you Offer a Gift of Value, then sit nearby and wait for Them to come out of hiding, sitting still while They accept the Gift so as not to scare Them away.  If They don’t come out, give Them more Space.  It They do, wait an inch or two closer to the next Gift you Offer.  Your initial gift is Respect, which is a pretty big Gift.

You are likely to have many Insights about which Unconscious Beliefs you need to Let Go of, and how you got them.  Be Loving and Gentle with yourself, and be Persistent with Forgiveness.

Mercury at 21 Scorpio is at the focus of a Configuration where two Trideciles connect to each end of a Biquintile – Big Learning with much Payoff, with Vesta and Neptune-South Node at the ends of the Biquintile.  Also, Jupiter joins Vesta in making a Quintile Yod focused on Neptune-South Node.

Unpleasant Memories of Abuse and Privilege may arise; locate them in your Body if you can, warm them, and soften around them.  It may be surprisingly Easy to Let Them Go, so don’t hesitate to try that – Karma is after all Dead.  Take care to be very Loving and Gentle with yourself.

The Moon crosses Stationary Nessus (6pm PST), and OR10 (7pm PST).  Nessus Turns Direct on 14 November, OR10 on 19 November.  Both are at 3 Pisces, which symbolizes Extinction.

Unpleasant Memories of Abuse and Privilege may still be arising; locate them in your Body if you can, warm them, and soften around them.  It may be surprisingly Easy to Let Them Go, so don’t hesitate to try that – Karma is after all Dead.  Take care to be very Loving and Gentle with yourself.

Be very watchful for any Feelings of “I’d rather Die” or Despair, and immediately respond with “You poor Sweetheart, you’re really feeling at rope’s end, aren’t you.”  If there’s any Response, continue to Empathize, “I know, I Abandoned you, didn’t I.  I’m really sorry, I didn’t know what else to do.”  “I know it felt horrible and terrifying – I was there.”  “I’m still Learning how to do this, but I promise to do my best from now on to Be There for you.  If I screw up again, please yell at me.”

You want Both/And – Survival of most of your Existing Self, and Recovery of your AG.  You’ll be Letting Go of some self-concepts, some of which will Feel like part of You, but you don’t need to burn any bridges or jump off any cliffs to see if you can fly.  You’ll eventually adjust your circle of friends and colleagues, as you Change, and you may need to set Boundaries with people who depend on your Programming for their Security, but you can do that Gently and Lovingly.  If you can’t imagine how, PIAVA it.

Quaoar Initiates Venus, 7am PST, 29 Sagittarius, “A fat boy mowing the lawn of his house on an elegant suburban street.”  This Sabian Symbol is always puzzling, but consider that it’s the last Degree of Sagittarius, before we enter Capricorn.  Sagittarius is about Letting Go and Letting Be, while Capricorn is about Just Fix It.  The Indulgence in the Symbol could be the Sign that we’ve Let Go enough now, it’s Time to get Proactive again.

Dreams?  or Nightmares, or you were too restless to sleep?    Unpleasant Memories of Abuse and Privilege may still be arising; locate them in your Body if you can, warm them, and soften around them.  It may be surprisingly Easy to Let Them Go, so don’t hesitate to try that – Karma is after all Dead.  Take care to be very Loving and Gentle with yourself.

Be very watchful for any Feelings of Discouragement, and immediately respond with “You poor Sweetheart, you’re really Feeling awful, aren’t you.”  If there’s any Response, continue to Empathize, “I know, I Let you Down back then.  I’m really really sorry, I was really scared too, and I didn’t know what else to do.”  “It must have Felt horrible and terrifying for you.”  “I’m still Learning how to do this, but I promise to do my best from now on to Be There for you.  If I screw up again, please yell at me.”  “I really want us to connect.”

The Digital Age

Dagne has asked for more information on the coming “Digital, Airy, mind-y Society, probably a lot heavier on the Idealistic or Normative than the Compassionate.”

Mostly we’re talking about the next two Centuries, when the Saturn-Jupiter Initiations all fall into Air Signs, unlike the last two Centuries (the Industrial Age), when they fell into Earth Signs.  There’s much more exactitude on this in https://astrobuss.wordpress.com/2012/10/29/the-jupiter-saturn-cycle-2/ .  The Changes in our Lives between 1980 and 2000 were large, but they are miniscule compared to what we’ll see after 2020.

The Air Signs are of course about Mentality – mindstuff, Duality.  It is possible for the mind to grok many Dimensions at once (see, eg, Felix Wolf’s The Art of Navigation), and with any luck a stray cosmic ray will Mutate the species, but till then, Mentality/Duality will dominate the next two Centuries.  With Either/Or Mentality comes Repression of Creativity and Uniqueness, except for the Fearlessly Yintegrous.

As technology replaces Work, the whole Inequality thing becomes huge, as quite simply, “the Rich will Live, and the Poor will die” – or wish they had.  We would revert to Feudalism, except that the owners of the Machines won’t have much need for Serfs, so if we aren’t Entertaining them or being their Mercenaries, we’ll be pretty much doing the Han Solo thing, or Living the Dream in https://astrobuss.wordpress.com/2016/09/09/responsibility-iv/ .  Except that even if we have the Survival Skills, there may not be enough Planet left to Support us.  So the Population/Global Balming thing becomes huge as well.

Bleak picture, I know.  A friend disagrees, arguing that it isn’t true that “the System” isn’t working – he says some parts are working, some parts aren’t, and we’re working to improve the parts that aren’t.  I didn’t say it, but “Easy for you to say, workaholic white-boy capitalist” would be a valid Response.  Bernie was a refreshing interlude, and with luck he will prove to be a Candle that ignites an Inferno.

If enough of us get Honest about our own Self-Sabotage, we can stop the trend.  And it’s indisputable that there are tons of Fresh Violets growing underneath the Corporate-owned Media that only tells us what to Fear.  

But who do you know that’s working to stop ALEC – the Corporate-funded organization that pre-writes and packages Corporation-friendly laws at the local, county, state, and federal level, that for instance make it illegal for you to buy Milk that hasn’t been through the Corporate Machine, or make it illegal for you to refuse Vaccination or Chemotherapy, or save your own Seed.  Who do you know who even knows about ALEC?

How many folks do you know who are outraged that Obomba just signed a law making it illegal for us to know if the faux Food they sell at the store contains Glyphosate, a potent carcinogen and immune-system-destroyer that is used not just on GMO Food but almost all non-Organic Food?  Outraged that Canada can sue US taxpayers for lost profits because Obomba stopped the big Tar-Sands pipeline through Nebraska to Texas, and that the “TPP” will allow Thailand to sue you because you won’t import Thai sex workers?

I’m exaggerating, but not by much.

Outraged that 25 Vulture Capitalists make more than twice as much money as all of the Kindergarten Teachers in the US but pay far less in taxes?  I could go on – and on.

Unfortunately, it’s not just the next two Centuries of Air-Sign Saturn-Jupiter Initiations that invite the reign of Either/Or.  Aquarius is an Air Sign – a Fixed Air Sign.  If Air Signs are about Mentality, Fixed Air Signs are about Ideals, or Fossilized Mentality.  The Technology can easily Cancel, Neutralize, Upgrade Us for thinking the wrong thoughts, like the ones I just suggested.  Aquarius rules the next two Millennia!

Naomi Klein’s Shock Doctrine and John Perkins’s New Economic Hit Man both describe samples of what has happened around the World when Vulture Capitalists and Corporations run the show.  The movie The Corporation is a quicker introduction.  It’s a Blessing that The Donald trumped Ted Cruz; Ted is an avowed and rabid Supporter of the principles that Shock Doctrine exposes.

We don’t need the Futures I describe.  I can and do and will Cancel Neutralize Upgrade their Energies.  But it we don’t understand what’s going on, we’ll end up like the Germans – “How could they have let that happen?” and they will be us.  We have to know what to Cancel Neutralize Upgrade and what to keep.  

The 2000-2020 period is about deciding what to Keep and what to Discard from the Industrial Age, and Shock Doctrine describes the worst Depravities of the Industrial Age.  There were plenty of Depravities in the Ages before the Industrial – Colonialism, Inquisitions, Genocides galore.  Let’s Discard the Depravities of Exploitative Capitalism before they’re coded into the Machines, so we can get on with Harmony and Understanding, Sympathy and Trust Abounding.  We’ll do that anyway, it’s mostly a matter of whether we’ll have to hide out in Sherwood Forest when we do.
