OOB Moons

How soon we forget.  The Moon goes “Out of Bounds,” increasing the possibility that our Instincts will Overpower our “Left Brains” and our sense of propriety, only every other decade, and even during its Out-of-Bounds decades, it’s only actually Out of Bounds (way far north or south of the Equator, furthur than the Sun ever goes) for a couple days every few weeks.  So all in all, over a lifetime, we’re talking less than 10% of the time.

Long-time readers will know that we consider our Comfort and Competence with different astro-Energies to be proportional to our Experience with them.  So as Individuals and as Cultures, we don’t have much Accumulated Wisdom around Moon Out of Bounds, because we haven’t had a lot of Practice dealing with it.  In my own limited personal Experience with them, a sort of Seething, Vulnerable, Hypnotizable Hysteria might be an appropriate description for them.  Your Emotions are Lit Up, and that makes it Easy for others to Manipulate them and you.

For instance, “9/11” was a quintessential Moon-OOB event.  The overreaction of Egos was about 200,000% percent, and the Manipulation that followed was centered around the association between Ego and Patriotism.  As a lapel button at the time said, “Oh well, I wasn’t using my Civil Rights anyway,” and the major provisions of the resulting Patriot Act are still in place almost 20 years later.

A major anthem of the 21st Century is “A flag turning into an Eagle turning into a Chanticleer saluting the Dawn” (the Sabian Symbol for the Degree of the Pluto-Chiron Initiation that occurred on 31 December 1999).  I interpret that to mean that the Competitive Tribalistic Nationalism of Huperity will undergo a Transformation of Perspective (Eagle as Far-Seeing) leading to it’s EnLightenment.  We’re obviously still working on that theme, as the Racial (BLM vs White Nationalists) and Community (the ridiculous “Freedom” not to wear a mask vs the Willingness to help Protect one’s Family and Community in the easiest, simplest way possible) elements of Competitive Egotism come to the fore.

The two major anthems we might choose for the third decade of the 21st Century would be “A soldier receiving two medals for bravery in combat” (the Sabian Symbol for the Degree of the Pluto-Saturn Initiation that occurred on 12 January 2020 – a Review would be useful), and “An old adobe mission in California” (the Sabian Symbol for the Degree of the Saturn-Jupiter Initiation that occurs on 21 December 2020 and begins the two-Century Digital Age).  I interpret the latter to mean major steps toward the End of Colonialism, and the former to mean major steps toward the End of the hierarchical Patriarchy and of Surrendering one’s own Sovereignty, and even of War as an Institution.

Have you ever noticed that sometimes we choose to amplify an astrological indication, and sometimes we amplify its opposite?  The reason we do this is because most of our work is about interpreting what’s going on in the Unconscious, and the Unconscious is not Dual like the Left Brain.  In the Unconscious, the other side of the Coin is as likely as the indicated side.  Since we Intend to Amplify the World We Want to Live In, we Choose the side which we believe will outpicture our Intentions.

So, we’ve recently discovered that we’ve been Denying (Eris), or Forgetting, the Moon Out of Bounds periods.  In July and August they spanned or will span…

• 8:30pm PDT 3 July through 5pm PDT 5 July,
• 6am PDT 18 July through 3:20 am PDT 20 July,
• 3am PDT 31 July through 9am PDT 3 August,
• 1pm PDT 14 August through 1:30 pm PDT 16 August,
• 5:40 am PDT 27 August through 9am PDT 29 August.

The 18-20 July OOB event amplified the Revelation (Eris Station) New Moon that we’re still deep within.  The 31 July-3 August OOB play will amplify the impending Full Moon that in turn pre-amps the 15 August Outpicturing of the Soul (Uranus Station) and the recent Demise of Victimhood (Chiron Station), as does the 14-16 August OOB Drama more directly.  The 27-29 August OOB event will likely be a Doozy, as it amplifies the amplification of Conversion of Fear to Power (Sedna Station), for those who even consider such a Conversion to be Possible.

 

Intuition, Choice, Self-Sovereignty IV

As much importance as we assign to the Meaning of asteroid Moira, it behooves us to look in detail at her Retrogradation.

Planets appear to go backwards or Retrograde when, on our way around the Sun, we “pass” them.  It’s like when we pass another car on the freeway – if we focus on the other car, it looks like they’re going backwards.  Of course we’re all going “forward,” but the sort of astrology we use looks at the planets as they’re seen from Here.

To filter out the effect of the Earth spinning on it’s own axis, we have to take a snapshot of the Sky at the same time every night to detect an other planet going backwards.  And of course we think the other planets and Stars “rise” in the East and “set” in the West, but that’s the Earth’s rotation.  The other planets, when moving “forward,” actually move from West to East, so on our daily time-lapse photo series, “backwards” movement is East to West.

When a planet goes Retrograde, it crosses a given patch of Sky thrice – once prior to its Retrograde Station, a second time while it’s Retrograde, then after its Direct Station, a third time.  A Spiritual Purpose of the moving planets is to Educate us.  When we have to suffer through a Lesson three times, we know that it’s an Important Lesson.

Moira’s Retrograde Station, on 21 March 2020, occurred at 19:05 Scorpio.  Her Direct Station will occur on 15 June at 7:30 Scorpio.  She first crossed 7:30 on 22 January, and She’ll cross 7:30 again on 15 August.  So our Moira-in-Scorpio curriculum spans 22 January to 15 August, and 7:30 to 19:05 Scorpio.  So we’ve finished the first Repetition of this Deep Exploration (Scorpio) of Fate versus Choice (Moira), and beginning the first Remedial session.

Astrological Signs are divided into twelve “Duads” of 2½ Degrees each.  For Scorpio, the first Duad is the Scorpio Duad of Scorpio, the second Duad is the Sagittarius Duad of Scorpio, etc.  So our span of 7:30 to 19:05 is about the Aquarius through Gemini Duads of Scorpio.  The Meaning of these are…

• Aquarius Duad – Deep Examination (Scorpio) of our Relationship to our Community and Culture (Aquarius); are we Victim of, or Adept with (Moira), our Community and Culture?  We had this Lesson initially from 22-29 January.

• Pisces Duad – Deep Examination of our Unfinished Emotional Business; does it Victimize us or are we Enthused by the Opportunity to Confront our Held Emotions and Let Go of our Self-Sabotaging Karma?  That Lesson was 30 January through 7 February.

• Aries Duad – Deep Examination of our Spiritual Creativity; does it Burden us or Motivate us?  Initial Lesson 8-17 February.

• Taurus Duad – Deep Examination of our Relationship to Matter; does it Rule us or do we Rule it?  First Lesson 18 February through 1 March.

• Gemini Duad – Deep Examination of our Willingness to Let Go of Who We Are in Order to Allow a Greater Identity to Form; Victim or Master?  Preview 2-22 March.

Now that Moira is Retrograde, we now go through this curriculum in reverse.  This second iteration is when we really get the opportunity to study the material – the initial set of Lessons merely introduced the Issues, mostly as Questions.  Now we begin to look not for Answers, but for Strategies for dealing with the Issues.  This is Real Life, not college, so the Issues don’t have Right-or-Wrong Answers, they only result in new ways of Organizing our Experience.  Eventually they’ll result in Wisdom, but that may take many Lifetimes.

So our curriculum for the next three months looks like this…

• 23 March-11 April, Gemini Duad, Are we Victims of our Losses, or are we Grateful for the Opportunity to Grow a New Identity?

• 12-25 April, Taurus Duad, Do our Possessions and our Health Define our Identity, or are we Adept at Manipulating Matter and at Manifesting Wellness?
  

• 26 April-7 May, Aries Duad, Are we Clear about what Inspires us, and do we Allow it to do just that, or do we Shut Down our Deepest Desires in order to avoid rocking any boats or Confronting our Programming?

• 8-19 May, Pisces Duad, Yes, we’d rather Die that Feel or Do That again.  Do we Cower before this Fear, or do we Recognize it as an Invitation to Liberation from our Limitations, and Bravely Embrace the Fear as our Power in Disguise?  Remember that Bravery is the Fundamental requirement for success between 2020 and 2055 (Saturn-Pluto), but don’t forget that we still have access to what we Learned between 1982 and 2019, that Spiritual Forces Surround and Assist us.

• 20 May-15 June, Aquarius Duad; So, do we Choose to spend our Attention and Energy on Ruing what we don’t like about the World we Live In, or do we Let that World Go and Persistently Devote One-Pointed Attention to a Vision of the Community that We Want to Live In?

The third and final series of Lessons is mostly about Exercises that allow us to Acknowledge our new-found Confidence that we now know how to…

• We now have Confidence in our Ability to Focus our Energy on a Community that Enlivens us, whether we Feel that we’ve Created it already, or we still need to PIAVA it more, all the while staying in Gratitude for what we have already Manifested in the way of Community.  Aquarius, 16 June-11 July.

• We now have Confidence in our Ability to Recognize that any Experience we don’t Like is an Opportunity to Jettison our Karmic Pattern to Create it again and again, and Let It Go.  Karma is Dead.  The only thing that keeps it Alive for us is our Unwillingness to Let It Go, because we’re so accustomed to it, and frightened by the possibility that the Alternative could be worse.  It won’t.  Pisces, 12-23 July.

• We now have Confidence in our Ability to Recognize the Sources of our Inspiration, Invite them when they’re Absent, and Follow them Wherever they lead us, no matter what anyone else will think or say.  Aries, 24 July-2 August.

• We now have Confidence in our Ability to Manifest What We Need and What We Want, When We Need It.  Taurus, 3-10 August.

• We now have Confidence in our Ability to Recover Quickly from Losses, Be Grateful for What We Have Kept, and Be Able to Swivel Quickly when Conditions Change.  Gemini, 11-15 August.

We need to get very serious about dumping this Karmic shit, and our Belief in it – which perpetuates it – while we still can.  Otherwise we’ll just be Dancing on the Wheel for several more Millennia on some other Planet after this one has finished Atlantis II.  Or on this one after it has split in two.

2019 Q4 and 2020 Q1 Stations

Ontario.

Now that we have a “week off” more or less, let’s look at the remainder of 2019 and the first quarter of 2020.  We’ll use several “shorthand” abbreviations or symbols…

• Â.Mickie stands for asteroid Mickie
• Ð.Goofy stands for dwarf planet Goofy
• Š/ stands for Station, when a planet’s Energy is especially Strong
• Î stands for Initiation of a New Cycle between two planets

Below we list only the Stations (plus one major Initiation), or the times when a planet’s Energy is Strongest and most Distinct or Identifiable.  When there are several planets Stationary at the same time, though, it will likely be hard to Distinguish the Separate Influence of each planet, because their Energies will be Merged.  When two planets are Stationary at the same time, it’s as if they’re Conjunct.

In general, we Experience the Energy of a Station before it happens, as the Energy Intensifies until it is “Complete” (the planet starts moving in the other Direction), and then it drops off rapidly.  In cases where we aren’t Neutral to the Energy, we may make Decisions about it, and those Decisions (Orcus) will carry the Energy over into the time following the Station, possibly even eventually Creating new Karma.

For instance, the Energy of asteroid Moira is about Fate and Choice – Fate in situations where our Karma is still Unconscious…

and Choice in situations where we’ve brought the Karma into Consciousness…

Oh!  I’m really not Experiencing what they seem to be Doing, I’m Experiencing my own lifelong Habitual Reaction to it!  They don’t even know I’m here!

Once we’re Conscious, we can Choose to Respond Constructively, rather than Reacting from our Victimhood.

So if we’re Insulted or Angered by something someone Says or Does, and we don’t Realize that it’s our Button that’s been pushed, we might Decide that this person is not “on our side,” and make them (or worse, people like that) a Lifelong Enemy.  And if we stay in 3D (which is likely if we haven’t Cleared our Karma), we’re likely to continue the same Conflict into Other Lifetimes.  You can tie up all Deviations from Whirled Peas and all of World History in this simple wrapper, and there won’t be much left to Clean Up.

On the other hand, we might Feel Insulted or Angry, but if we Recognize that it’s our Feeling, we may Choose to Agree to Disagree, or even move to a different Meeting, but we won’t make it into a Capital Offense.

There are a number of ways to guess how soon we’ll begin to Experience a Station before it’s Complete, but a useful rule of thumb is…

• A week for the four outer planets, asteroid Bee-Zed, and the dwarf planets except dwarf planet Ceres (that is, everyone with orbits longer than ten years)
• Several days for the three inner planets, the asteroids, and dwarf planet Ceres (orbits between one and ten years)
• Since “Tropical” astrology (the kind we use) sees events from the Perspective of Earth, neither Earth nor Sun nor Moon are ever Stationary

We might also begin to Experience the Energy of the next Station as soon as the current Station is Complete.  Our General Sensitivity is obviously relevant.  And if a Station occurs on one of our natal planets, we’ll React more Strongly and probably sooner.

If we want an Astrological Rule rather than Empirical Guidance, the usual Sensitivity projects that the Impact begins when the Stationing planet is less than one Degree from its Exact Station.  However, some of the newer dwarf planets (such as Sedna) move less than one Degree in a year, which would mean they’re Always Stationary.  And yes, we can certainly interpret that to mean that Fear is Omnipresent, as was common Before the Current Era (ie, BCE or BC)!  If we’re in the Habit of Converting Fear to Power (with Kegels for instance), then this is a Powerful interpretation!

But using lengthy Stations can give us so much overlap that we’re never sure what’s happening.

Asteroids usually take about four days to move one Degree, but when they’re slowing down to Stop and Turn Around, they’ll be much slower.  For instance, rather than 23-26 October for the first Klotho Station, you might look at 11-26 October (the one-Degree range) instead, and Pay a lot more Attention if you have a natal planet near the Ides of Gemini.

Bottom Line, feel free to start my date ranges sooner.  But if you’re still Experiencing Strong Energy after the Station, in order to Avoid accumulating new Karma you want to look over the last several days to see if you’ve made any Decisions based on your Discomfort with the Energy of the Station.  If so, Own your Discomfort and Revert your Decisions.

Initiations are Conjunctions, and Conjunctions act like Stations in that we Experience the Energy increasing in Strength as the Exact Conjunction approaches, then it drops off rapidly, assuming we’ve Captured the available Learning to keep, and not the Energy.  Again, we want to Pay Attention to Discomfort before the Initiation, and Work on Ourself to Own and Revert if necessary after the Initiation.  What we Learn from any astroevent is ours to keep.  They’re all Teachers.

Initiations Differ from Conjunctions, however, in that they also Begin a new Cycle, and the Energy that’s Born at the Initiation – including your Reactions to and Learnings from the Initiation – will Endure on some level for the entire Cycle, whether the Cycle is Initiated by a New Moon (28 days) or by Saturn and Pluto (30-some years).

We’ve added a few words of preliminary interpretation, but of course the actual interpretation will flow from a chart drawn for the Station, which we don’t normally do till we’re getting close to the event.  The preliminary interpretation will probably hang True, but it may not be The Most Important interpretation.

The short interpretations below are Dimensions, not Directions. The Direction is up to us.  For instance, in the first few days of November Our Perspective on our Vitality may Improve or Decline.  If the latter, it’s Identifying Karma for us to Let Go Of.  If we Allow our Victimhood to Reinforce the Decline, we Lose.  If we Notice the Decline and Realize that we have the Power to Heal (Tapping, Poor-Sweethearting, PIAVAing, Plan-Executing, Invoking the Unseen Therapist, et al), we Win.

If Our Perspective on our Vitality Improves, Gratitude is Relevant.  You don’t want to use the Improvement to pad your Ego – it’s not your Ego that Heals, though it can certainly Catalyze Healing, and increasing Self-Love is always Valuable, but not for Cause.  If Self-Love depends on Cause, it will never become Unconditional.  Self-Love is the Natural Condition we Strive to Return to, and we can certainly Congratulate ourself for Work Well Done when we step in that Direction.  But it’s Grace that Heals, and to Welcome and Encourage Grace, lift out the “c” and drop in a “titud,” then give it plenty of Exercise.

We aren’t adding the Moons and Sign Changes to this list, because they have different orientations in Time, and they would just make the list overlong.  The above are what we regard as The Most Important astroevents of the next six months.  We’ll table the Moons and Sign Changes separately, and maybe add the Out-of-Bounds periods, since the Moon starts going Out-of-Bounds in March for the first time in a decade.  Then if we get time, we can combine the lists to make a complete calendar.

As we’ve mentioned previously, the Digital Age occupies two Centuries while the every-twenty-years Jupiter-Saturn Conjunctions occur in Air Signs.  The Industrial Age spanned the time when these Conjunctions occurred in Earth Signs.  There is a toggle between Ages – after eighteen or so Conjunctions in Earth, there was one in Air (1980), then one back in Earth (2000), then eighteen or so in Air.  The Digital Preview of 1980-2000 spanned, almost to the day, the time between the introduction of the IBM PC and the Dot-Com Crash.  The fact that computers reached practical desktop size at the dawn of the Preview could be a clue that Decentralization and Individual Creativity may indeed be part of the full Digital Age.

We’re in the last three months of the Industrial Debriefing that spans 2000-2020.  The Industrial Debriefing allows us to sort through the Meaning of the Industrial Age, and Decide what to take with us into the next Age and what to leave behind.  We’re getting down to the wire.  One characteristic of the Industrial Age was the development of the Wage Slave.  The decline of Unions, the development of the Gig Economy, the demise of pensions, and the return to a Dickensian economy, all imply that we may be leaving that behind.

Today, among the planets we track, there are 8 in Air Signs, but 15 in Earth Signs, pinning our Attention on our Decisions about which Karmic Habits to Abandon and which to Maintain.

Seven of the Earth 15 are in Capricorn, Creative Earth.  Capricorn basically means Just Fix It – these are the things we have to Just Fix if we want to transcend 3D…

• Dwarf planet Quaoar, symbolizing our Survival Instincts.  We’ve seen how the end of the Industrial Age has decimated manufacturing jobs.  Coding will survive for a while, till the Robots take over it as well.  As anyone who’s ever tried to work there knows, social services are Poverty Country, until your Culture begins to Value Hupers more than Dollars, if it ever does.

• Dwarf planet Hylonome, or Self-Sovereignty.  Is the Centralization of Power a permanent feature of Huperity, or will the End of the Patriarchy promote Decentralization?  Some pundits see the Blockchain accomplishing that, and its existence suggests that there may well be a Trend toward Decentralization of Power.  Centralization makes Self-Sovereignty much more Difficult.

• The South Node, our Karmic Inertial Baggage, including our Held Emotions.  As long as we continue to Avoid our Held Emotions, it will always be Us Against Them, as Them is where our Intolerable Held Emotions appear to reside.  Any of us stuck in that kind of Duality will never make it out of 3D.

• Saturn, aka The Most Important Thing.  Do we know what that is?  Well, at the moment Saturn is still Conjunct the South Node, so the Most Important Thing is Embracing our Held Emotions.

• Asteroid Hopi represents Respect For All Things, which is more than a nice platitude.  Because We Are All One and All Mirrors for One Another, any Disrespect for anything is a departure from Unconditional Self-Love, which will keep us stuck in 3D.

• Dwarf planet Chariklo is about Self-Doubt and Self-Confidence.  Thought operates in Duality; Intuition is Multidimensional, so it should be Obvious that we need to operate from our Intuition to stay in 5D.  Self-Doubt is a Thought.  We need to Learn to Trust our Intuition.

• Pluto is about Changing Paradigms, which is what is Happening as we move from the Industrial to the Digital, from Obeying the Patriarchy to Trusting our Intuition, and from 3D to 5D.  Pluto doesn’t allow foot-draggingl; if we Resist the Changes, Pluto will just Drag us into the New Paradigm.  We’ll be much better off Surrendering to it.

Virgo is the Mutable Earth Sign – Mutable as in Mutation, or Change.  Like the Changing Lines in the I Ching.  Virgo, which stands for Ego Death, holds five planets here.  Of course we’ll need to Endure Ego Deaths if we are to move beyond our Old Industrial Paradigm…

• Asteroid Nemesis itself means Ego Death, as She was the Goddess who Punished those who Felt Guilt (or should have), and Guilt Requires an Ego Death.  In Virgo it’s a Double Whammy – just what the Witch Doctor ordered for a Big Change in the Zeitgeist.

• Dwarf planet Orcus is about Pattern-Breaking.  He was an Etruscan God whose job it was to Beat Up Oath-Breakers.  But our Obsolete Oaths are what Create Karma and Unconscious Limitation, as we Forget the Oath but the Habits we built to Serve the Oath remain for Lifetimes.  We need to enter New Ages with Clean Slates.

• Asteroid Sappho symbolizes Self-Love.  As we mentioned earlier (see Hopi), Unconditional Self-Love is a prerequisite for Ascension.

• Asteroid Asteroid Juno is about the Growing Edge of Consciousness, and any major Growth in Consciousness is likely to require an Ego Death, so Juno in Virgo can Accelerate our Growth.

• Moira represents Fate.  Fate is what happens to us when we are Unconscious of our Karmic Patterns.  When we Grow our Consciousness enough to Recognize our own Patterns, we substitute Choice for Fate.  We can’t follow our Intuition if we don’t have Choice.

And finally, in addition to Uranus, two other planets are joined at the hip in Taurus, asteroid Vesta and dwarf planet Sedna.  Together they stand for all of our Unconscious Beliefs that have their Roots in Fear.  Even many of our original “Choices” to make those Ancient Karmic Vows were Motivated by Necessity or Fear.  They may have been the only Choice we had if we wanted to eat, which wasn’t a Choice at all.  Taurus is Fixed Earth – like Crystal, very Difficult to Change…

But very Powerful.  And as you know, Uranus (Soul) is also early in Fixed-Earth Sign Taurus (ie, Descending into Flesh).  That in itself has been, and will continue to be, Requiring Ego Deaths and Major Changes in our Self-Concept.  An Iteration of Ego can last anywhere from Moments to Lifetimes, but Soul is Immortal.  Most of us to one degree or another Identify with our Physical Body.  We can touch that, and we’ve Learned to Trust our Sense of Touch.  Learning to Trust an Immaterial and Invisible Soul is more Difficult, usually Requiring Lifetimes of Meditation and Study.  We all have many of those Lifetimes, or we wouldn’t be here on Earth at this Time.  We just need to Open Up to them.

Yes, one of many Last Illusions, I’m sure.  It’s very tempting to Extrapolate current trends into their worst Science Fiction nightmares, whether we’re playing with our Digits, or drowning in sweat or flood from this week’s Faux News about Global Warming.  But Seth made it clear a long time ago, in The Nature of Personal Reality, that our Personal History is an excellent Mirror of our Karma, aka our Habitual Patterns of Belief.

And likewise, the content of our Intellectual and Emotional Imaginings about the Future are a perfect Mirror for the detritus that gums up our Personal Relationship to the Unconscious.  The Unconscious is anything and everything that isn’t encompassed by our Ego at the Moment.  Energy is our True Nature, till we fall through one of the slits and become Particular, which is fine as a Snapshot, but this isn’t even a Moving Picture, because those are only 2D.  What happen to the Waves and Bits after they’re photographed?  They don’t just End there.

As Energy we are all Holographic Fragments of Source.  We only Choose to Separate ourself from the Whole for Fun or Profit.  When we Meditate on Being the Whole, what else is left to Interact with?  (The State of Wholeness is an excellent place to Manifest from, BTW, if we’re into Manifesting Partness, which of course we all are.)  Imagination is our Projection of Energy into the Future, where it will Manifest as Form.  So why would we Project something we don’t Want, except for Fun or Profit?  Why don’t we Project What We Want instead?

Well, the answer is because this is a Mirror for our Relationship with the Unconscious, with everything that isn’t Embraced by our Ego at the Moment.  This is why people talk about their “Shadow” – their Belief that Darkness is a Thing rather than a 2D Projection on the wall of the cave.

Karma Repair 2

Not a lot happening with the 18 May (2pm PDT) Full Moon, except that it could make a big dent in our Fear of Opening Up to the Truth about our Hidden Forbidden Unique Genius, the one that will Singlehandedly Save the Planet, along with all the other Single Hands that this Full Moon will help Liberate from their Fear of Opening Up to the Truth about their Forbidden Genies.  Our Hidden Forbidden Unique Genius is the missing piece in the Jigsaw Puzzle that is our 5D Future, and so is Everyone Else’s.

Which is to say that the symbol for Endings (asteroid Atropos) Resolves (Trine Bridges) the Full Moon that prominently features the symbol for Converting Fear to Power (dwarf planet Sedna stands behind the Sun) and is Supported by (Finger of God-ed by) the symbol for our Forbidden Genius (dwarf planet Ixion) and the Merged (Conjoined) symbols for Rebirth and Truth (dwarf planet Haumea and asteroid Veritas)…

All in all an excellent chart, if we Remember our Kegels.

This Full Moon though is greatly overshadowed by the 19 May Merging of the symbol for The Most Important Thing (Planet) and the symbol for our Karma (the Mean South Node).  If you feel like you’re Sitting Pretty, look behind you.  There’s something lurking there that may not be Negative, but will Certainly help you Clean Up your Current Lifetime.  Remember what Alan Watts said back in the 1950s – it’s a lot harder to Let Go of our Good Karma than it is to Let Go of our Bad Karma.

Because we’re so fond of Patting ourselves on the Back for our Good Karma.  But we’ll be a lot more Effective at Changing the World if we’re Neutral.  Self-Love ain’t Positive Self-Judgment.  Self-Love is Unconditional, no Judgment involved.  The Demon lurking behind you could be Pride.

And of course it could also be all manner of Self-Sabotaging Habits, the kind we usually think of as Karma and Blame on “the Universe,” or Mom, forgetting that All of our Habits are Choices we’ve made in the past.  Is this a Free-Will Universe or not?  Free Will cuts both ways.  Of course we don’t Remember making that Choice, it was a hundred Past Lives ago.  Or a Parallel in a Galaxy far far away.

But as Seth put it so Clearly in The Nature of Personal Reality, our Karma is actually Obvious – it’s writ large in our Personal History in our Current Lifetime.  What in your Personal History do you not claim as your own Choice?  Those are the places where you’re Betraying your own Soul.  Of course your Current Ego didn’t make that Choice, because if you think of “You” as your Current Ego, you’re missing 99% of your Life.

If there’s anything in our Personal History, Good or Bad, that we don’t claim as our own Choice, whose Choice was it?  It was part of our Soul Self that our Current Ego doesn’t include.  We need to do some Ego Yoga.  It’s not as hard as it sounds.  Our Ego’s in it for Pleasure; our Soul’s in it for Experience, including Experiences that will – and have – Terrified or Horrified our Ego.

This is what a Free-Will Universe means.  If you aren’t in a Free-Will Universe, you’re just another automaton on the treadmill, where everything happens to you, and you have little or no Control.  That might be Liberating, since what you do won’t matter.  You may as well Take whatever Pleases you.  But can you even Conceive of a Universe without Cause and Effect?  That’s pretty Deep Programming.  Easier to Conceive of a Universe where we don’t have enough Information to sleuth out Cause and Effect.  And more Honest.

“Guilt is simply another facet of the belief in separation–separation from your true self and from others involved.  Realize that actions taken in the past represented your attained state of consciousness at that time.  Every individual is required only to live out from their highest attained state of consciousness which is what you were doing.

“You are no longer beginners and any continued dependence on outer persons, places, or things in the belief that they are necessary to your spirituality can only serve to keep you in bondage to what is old and false–everything based in duality and separation.

“A consensus consciousness based in duality and separation is what holds together the third dimensional world of good and evil.  You are witnessing the chaos of today because consciousness which is the substance of all form, is rapidly changing as more souls awaken and add their Light to the mix.

“Because you are God Beings YOU ARE CREATORS and must never forget or ignore this.  Be alert to what you are creating through your thoughts, words, beliefs etc. (your state of consciousness).  Allow mis-creations to become your teachers.  Rather than blaming some outside source when you find yourself in a problematic situation, honestly examine your belief system.

“Learn to live in the now moment as an observer, not ignoring what you observe, but rather seeing the world through eyes of spiritual awareness.  Be like an adult who is watching children play in a sand box.  The observer notices that one is a bully, some surrender and do what the bully wants, and others play quietly by themselves giving no regard or surrender to the bully.

“The observer does not have to get into the sand box with the children but may guide the direction of play through some firm but loving interaction.  Then again, he may do nothing at all, simply allowing the energy to play out, wisely aware that with time each will experience the lessons they have created and set in motion from their attained state of consciousness with or without his help.

“Whatever a spiritually aware observer does, he always does it from Center, following the guidance that flows freely from spiritual awareness and trust.

“The time has arrived for all awake to live what they know by bringing unconditional love into every situation and circumstance no matter how seemingly ‘human’ it may appear.  This never means being another’s doormat, or staying in some toxic situation in the false belief that they are being spiritual and loving.  Bringing unconditional love into some toxic situation may mean powerfully stating to self and others, ‘Enough is enough’.  Always honor your own Divine Self.

“It means fully accepting yourself as a Divine Being here on earth to awaken, learn, evolve, and then assist others ready to understand and ascend to higher dimensional realities.  You are the way showers and the teachers–midwives assisting the birth of a higher state of universal consciousness.

“Everything you have been preparing for for lifetimes has arrived.  Will you get on the bus, or wait another few lifetimes?”

Quantum Jump 6

The 12 July New Moon Partial Solar Eclipse (8pm PST) highlights the Challenges we’re having with this Big Rebirth we just went through with the Haumea (Rebirth) and Jupiter (Expansion) Stations.  Not only does the Eclipse (Illumination) Square the still-Stationary Haumea, it Opposes Klotho (Beginning New Timelines), which Conjoins BZ509 (Transcendence) and Pluto (Compulsive Trance-Reformation)…

That’s a bundle.  Does the Universe provide any clues or helpmates?  Yes, several.  Most of them require Sustained Curiosity (Quincunx Bridges), though one is an outright Gift, a Trine Bridge.  However, this Easy Path lies through Nemesis (Ego Death), Lachesis (Choosing the Length of our Timelines), and Sappho (Self-Love).  So, for starters we’d need to be Self-Loving.  Then we’d probably have to Accept Ego Deaths Self-Lovingly.  Which sounds like a “Likely,” but this is a Trine Bridge, so we can’t sell it short.

When we Choose to be Unconscious, if we have that option, we Choose to Accept our Fate.  Of course many of us Choose that Option Unconsciously.  If it sounds Weird to you to make a Choice Unconsciously, it’s because you’re Identifying with the wrong “You.”  If we aren’t Consciously Aligned with our Soul, and our Soul makes a Choice, then “We” have made the Choice, but from the Ego’s Perspective, the Choice was Unconscious. 

As Seth averred a long time ago (Jane Roberts, The Nature of Personal Reality) – and Fritz Perls agreed, if it’s in your Field, then from some Perspective, some part of “You” has Chosen it.  If you don’t want it in your Field, then “you” need to Find Out which part of “You” did Choose it, and Negotiate with them.  Often our Soul Chooses to put things in our Field, just so “we” can become Conscious of our Soul’s Intentions.  I can’t say what your Soul wants for you, but as near as I can tell at this time, mine wants me to Eschew Judgment and Respect All Things.  So my Soul shows me my Judgments and my Disrespects.

In the notion of the Fates in Greek Myths, Lachesis is the one with the tape measure.  Klotho weaves the Cloth that constitutes the Tapestry of a Timeline, and Lachesis determines the Length of the Timeline.  Finally, Atropos cuts the last thread with her Scissors, Ending the Timeline.  So the suggestion is that we Self-Lovingly Choose our own Lengths for the Ego Deaths that Clear the Space for our Rebirth.  Without masochism, I suspect we’d want our Ego Deaths to be Complete, but short in Duration.  They may never not Hurt, but we can stand Hurts if they’re short-term .

You have Beliefs and Practices that for a looong time you’ve known you’d eventually have to give up – because they interfere with What You Really Want.  They’re cheap substitutes that you’ve plugged into the Space where your Deepest Desires belong, because you couldn’t stand the Void there, and your Limiting Beliefs wouldn’t give you Permission to be Brutally Honest about your Desires.  Over time you’ve gotten Ego-Invested or Identified with your Compromises.  They are you and you are they.  But now it’s time for you to Open Up that Space for the Real Thing.

So those Identities have to exeunt stage left (Nemesis).  They have to bow out Gracefully, Lovingly (Sappho).  And you have to Choose it (Lachesis).  No one else can Choose it for you.  And it’s not about Letting it Slide till these Pretenders leave on their own.  You’ve already been waiting forever for that, and it hasn’t happened.  Not when they’re part of your Identity.  You have to Want to Achieve your Deepest Desire more than you want to keep your “temporary” substitutes.

The Sixth Step prayer reads something like…

“Dear God, I am ready for your help in removing from me the defects in my character which I now realize are an obstacle to my recovery.  Help me to continue being honest with myself and guide me toward spiritual and mental health.”

While Ego-Attachment and Addiction are similar, they aren’t quite the same, so let’s rephrase that to make it more appropriate for Identification…

“God/Goddess, Creator of All That Is, I Command your help in removing from my Field the Temporary Substitutes for What I Really Want, as I now Realize that these Substitutes are an Obstacle to my Authentic Deepest Desires.  I Command your help to maintain my Honesty with myself, and your continued Guidance toward my Mission.  It Is Done, It Is Done, It Is Done.  Thank you, God/Goddess.  Show me.”

Your Temporary Substitutes could be Emotions, Thoughts, Ideals, Actions, Beliefs, Material Objects or Goals – whatever you would Recognize as You, but which you’ve plugged into the Gap Created by the Absence of What You Really Want.  Tomorrow we’ll look at the Quincunx Bridges, as they too provide clues.

Paranoid Thoughts?

We’re approaching 9 June’s Station of Nessus (3am PDT).  As most of you know, a planet’s Energy is Strongest at, and leading up to, its Station, and Nessus is about Healing Abuse and Privilege.  It’s in Pisces, which is all about Finishing Business and Letting Go of Excess Baggage, especially Heavy Emotions, so we can begin the next leg of our next Journey with a Light load.

Of course the quickest way to Heal anything is to Embrace it with Unconditional Love and Empathy, and to do that, we sometimes have to Re-Experience it in some form.  So all manner of Guilt, Veiled (or otherwise) Fear or Terror, and other Ugliness may arise between now and 9 June, including otherwise-unexplained unpleasant Experiences with other people that are Unconsciously Standing In as bit players in our Karmic Dramas.

Yes, they could be Reincarnations of our former Perps, but why not give them the Benefit of the Doubt and let them be Innocent, as in their Present Incarnation they’re likely to be.  After all, they could as likely be Reincarnations of former Victims or your own Abuse and Privilege, just with the roles switched for variety.

It’s important to be Aware that this is happening, so we can Respond positively.  It’s very easy to attribute such Flushbacks to the Present Moment, even though our daily Dramas are probably dime-novel Re-Enactments of our Karmic Traumas and all of Their previous attempts at Re-Enacting themselves, some of which could have Been or Felt very Real.

Remember that Consciousness pervades Everything, including our Karmic Traumas, and if we’re still in Separation (which to some extent we All are if we’re still Incarnate), then these Traumas are virtually “Entities” with a Life of Their own.  Until we Merge with Them, which can Be and Feel quite Horrible while we’re Transitioning into Their Experience. 

And once we’re Inside of Their Experience, we may need some or all of our Enlightened Consciousness (we All have at least some) to be Unconditionally Loving with Them.  Considering how many Lifetimes we’ve probably Lived (likely approaching Infinity), we have Seen It All Before, so it’s more about Being Loving and Gentle with all the Ickiness, once we get past being Horrified.  Maybe we should practice with Slugs.

When we mis-identify Karmic Flushbacks as Present Moment events, we’re very likely to make Decisions or Oaths like “I’ll never do that again” or “I’ll never talk to them again,” or far worse.  Decisions like this rapidly become Unconscious Limitations, and inhibit our Liberation.

We’ll draw up the chart soon, but suffice it to say for now that Orcus, the planet of Oath-Making and Oath-Breaking, Opposes the Stationary Nessus, forming the base of a T-Square to asteroid Moira.  Moira is about Fate.  Fate is what happens to us when we’re Unconscious; Choice is what we Choose to exercise when we’re Conscious.  So we’re Taking Our Power and Breaking an Ancient Contract with our Fate, potentially the one that equates Life with Suffering.

We tend to think of such Contracts as “Facts of Life,” but in fact they’re just Political Choices we made so long ago that we’ve forgotten that it was our Choice.  While the Resistance may be substantial, and the Implications may be complex, we can actually Choose Whatever We Want.  And if we Consider it carefully and boldly, we can actually also Choose trivial Resistance and simple Implications.  That’s on of the reasons why we recommend adding “Lovingly and Gently” to our PIAVAs.

There is also a T-Square to asteroids Nemesis and Lachesis in the Nessus-Station chart.  Nemesis is about Ego Death, while Lachesis is about Choosing to Shift a Karmic or Fated Timeline before it would Shift on its own.  So what we’re really doing here, should we Choose to Accept it, is Shifting our Approach to Ego Death, toward Love and Excitement rather than Fear and Resistance. The base of this second T-Square is the Nodal Axis, with Mars (Anger or Action) on the South Node (Held Emotions) and Aletheia (Truth) on the North Node (Mission in the Lifetime).

Which would probably benefit from more explication…

Some folks, usually those Trapped in Blame, refer to this as “New Age Guilt.”  That of course is a Projection, because the Guilt is all theirs, and the only connection it has to “New Age” is that they Believe that some philosophy they’re disparaging is the Object of their Resistance.  They obviously know nothing about what they’re intending to reference.

Blame is a Universe unto itself, with few exits.  In Blame there is a Compulsive Attachment to the Past and a Compulsive Need to Attribute Cause, usually To Someone, for Perceived Past Infraction of some (very often unspoken) Rule, most often their own mom’s and not ours. 

An alternative Universe substitutes Responsibility, or more accurately Respond-ability, for Blame.  In Responsibility there is a Conscious Attention to the Future and a Deliberate Attempt to Improve Outcomes.

In a topsy-turvy Bullying Trumpian World, Blame might sometimes be an Intentional Strategy (ie, a Response), but it’s usually a Compulsive Reaction and a Self-Sabotaging Archetype, probably highly correlated with Held Emotions in one way or another. 

As such, when we find ourself Trapped in the Blame Universe without a towel, which almost all of us will from time to time, we can consider it a Blessing (plant our feet, look it in the eye, and Ask “What do you have to Teach me?”) and a doorway to our own Held Emotions.  We’ll be reaching into the Unconscious, so PIAVA (q.v., in the Categories list) will be much more productive than Anal-ysis or other Dynamic approaches.

Blame begins a “vicious circle” or Negative Spiral, as the Object of Blame usually Reacts in kind.  How many of us have been Trapped in Relationships that thrive on that kind of Dynamic?  How many of us are now Trapped in Relationships that thrive on that kind of Dynamic?

So then, if there are few exits, how do we Plan our Escape?  Recognize that Planning is a Dynamic approach, which will be greatly improved by a parallel Magnetic or PIAVA approach.  However, it will probably help to do some advance preparation.

We cannot Change anyone except ourself.  So our entry point lies in our own Reaction to being Blamed.  Our Goal is Neutrality – “Oh, there’s Blame again; isn’t that inter-esting,” as Bugs would say.

Our leverage lies in Awareness.  “Oh, there’s my own Anger arising.  You Poor Sweetheart, you’re Feeling Irritated, aren’t you” (see “Poor Sweetheart” in Categories).  When that Works, we’ll suddenly be in Self-Compassion instead of Anger.  If it doesn’t Work, we’ll need to Tap it out (see “Tapping” in Categories).  It will be much easier to go to Neutrality from Self-Compassion than from Anger.

Then you can Take Responsibility for your own Vulnerability to Blame.  What if you actually Chose on some level in this Lifetime to practice being Neutral to Blaming.  The Blamers in your Life are just there to help you work on this.  You didn’t Choose it?  Hmmm.  So you have no Influence on your own Life?  Who Chose it for you then?  Why would you Allow them Sovereignty over your Life?  “Hit me,” said the Masochist.  “No,” said the Sadist.  Is that really your Choice?

When you’re being Blamed for something (whether “warranted” or not – even if Deserved, there are a thousand more constructive ways to proceed than Blame), what you say in return is pretty irrelevant.  The purpose of Blaming is to arouse Guilt or Shame in the Blamed Party.  If you don’t go to Guilt or Shame, and stay Neutral instead, then the Blamer has nothing to get their jollies from.  Sooner or later they’ll lose interest in you and find someone else to Badger.  Moving toward Neutrality is where your Power lies. 

And by the way, while you’re eliminating Blame from your Life, why not go a step further and eliminate Cause and Effect?  Instead of “Figuring Out” what needs to be done, just Focus on How You’ll Feel when it is done.
