Better late than never.  In fact, we’ve always averred that we do Interpretation, not prediction, and since this blog is uncompensated, we often have to give precedence to paying the rent.  Besides, it’s only the Illusion of Linear Time that drives the Calendar.  These astroevents take place outside of Linear Time, and as such they are Timeless.  They’re not even about Learning, they’re about Remembering, as we are already Complete Energy Bodies.  It’s only the Huper Trance that makes us Forget huge portions of our Eternal Infinite Self.  The apparent Sequence of astroevents just helps us Remember Different parts of our Wholeness.

But we didn’t want to leave off the chart of the 29 June 2020 second, “Exposition,” Retrograde Jupiter-Pluto (Expansion-Transformation) Merger (Conjunction)…

…because it’s an almost-perfect Self-Resolving Challenge or “Diamond Star” (a Challenging T-Square [the red triangle] combined with the Grace of a Double Trine Bridge [the blue lines] across the other half of the chart, connected by a Finger of the Goddess [the green wedge] pointing to the Focus of the T-Square).  The T-Square says that our Boundaries (asteroid Pallas) will be Challenged (T-Square) by the Necessity (Pluto) that we Expand (Jupiter) our Primary Cultural Trance (Pluto), and by the apparent Contradistinction (Opposition) between our Rebirth (Haumea) and the Persistence of our Forgetting (Eris) – we spoke in the previous post about how the Ego Resists Change.

You can see this Acted Out oh so Clearly on the streets, in the Dance between the Forces of Change (the BLM Protestors) and the Forces Defending the Status Quo (the Conservative Counter-Protestors, the Police Unions, and most of the Governments).  In the 4 July chart of the first, “Can-Opener,” Jupiter-Pluto Merger, the empty half of the chart opposite the Challenge (the red T-Square triangle) contains only (1) Unlimited Potential (dwarf planet Chaos) which is Scary because it’s so Unknown to most of our Consciousness, and (2) Converting Fear to Power (dwarf planet Sedna), which we initially Experience as Fear, till we do our Kegels.

The 29 June Exposition chart is Self-Resolving.  The 4 June Can-Opener chart contains Grace, but it’s Incomplete.  Unfortunately, it’s the 4 June chart that foreshadows the next dozen years.  The primary purpose of the 29 June chart is to help us Learn (Remember) more about the Changes that we’re beginning to put in place (in Linear Time).  In the 29 June chart, Unlimited Potential (Chaos) remains, but it’s augmented by our Intuition (dwarf planet Asbolus) and by our Ability to Choose to End Obsolete Karmic Habits (asteroid Atropos [Ending Patterns Consciously]).  Which means we’ll be more Able to moderate our Fear of the Unknown, for instance by PIAVAing that our Progress be Loving and Gentle.

And, the second foot (asteroid Lachesis [Ability to Choose to Change Habits]) of the green wedge (the Finger of the Goddess) has moved into place to make the Challenge Self-Resolving (a Diamond Star).  In other words, we’re now Graced with new (relative to early June) Skills that Allow us to Manipulate Patterns which previously Victimized us and kept us Frozen in Fear about our Rebirth into the Unlimited.  Consequently, in spite of the fact that you may feel like you Don’t Know What You’re Doing, you are actually Free to Act to Embrace What You’ve Always Wanted.  Your Mind will be very fuzzy about What and Why, but your Intuition will Know without Question.  Trust your Intuition.

The addition that makes the 29 June Self-Resolving Challenge not quite Perfect (as an astrological Configuration, not as an astroevent) is the Galactic Center (Headquarters) at the top of the chart (where it’s more Powerful than it otherwise would be).  It certainly doesn’t detract from the Self-Resolution in the rest of the chart, in fact it adds a whole lot of Grace (a Fire [Spirit] Grand Trine [Dumb-Luck Grace] with two Air [Mentality] Kites [Directed Dumb-Luck Grace], making an almost-Grand Sextile [Yet More Grace]).

The Vacancy in the Grand Sextile (26 Aquarius) – which we could easily argue is the most Important place in the chart, as it makes our Challenge to Expand into the Vacuum not just Self-Resolving, but also very Beneficial – is not occupied by a prominent asteroid or dwarf planet.  If you have a prominent planet there, you are hereby appointed to be our Fearless Leader.  You will have help from two important Stars in that Longitude…

• Deneb algedi, aka Giedi, the tail of the Capricorn Sea-Goat (Remember that the Constellations have shifted in the Tropical Zodiac, due to the Precession of the Equinoxes, so the Star is in the Constellation Capricorn but the Sign Aquarius).  Bernadette refers to Deneb algedi as (Brady’s Book of Fixed Stars, pp.302-4) “the symbol of the law-giving, justice-oriented god trying to civilize his people…  the star of a person who is a benefic ruler, one who is trying to use wisdom and knowledge to protect and help the people around them.  Mother Teresa of India had two [astrological] contacts with Deneb algedi… this concept of the ancient, protecting god is connected to both her luminaries.”

• Deneb Adige, the tail of Cygnus the Swan, (op. cit. pp.127-129) “a very subtle star associated with the strength and hostility of the swan, but at the same time holding within its symbolism the mystic, transcendental qualities of shamanistic legends of the creation of the World Egg.  A very good example of this is Mother Teresa… this majestic swan and its symbolism is connected both to how we see Mother Teresa, and to the belief systems and feelings that she lived by.”  “…the need to explore the mystical in the everyday…  …equally the strong fighting bird and the swan-god, the willingness to take the hero’s journey, to undertake the journey of self-awareness” – exactly what we need to Expand our Trance-Re-Formation.

Bernadette also says (p.304) that “Deneb algedi is not a strong star and it needs to be linked to… Libra – for social reform – …before you put too much emphasis on it … it does suggest the desire to help, not by serving but by leading.”  The Completed Grand Sextile does have another corner in Libra, advising that we need to opt for Touching the Jaguar (the Hero’s Journey) and throwing ourself into the Unknowns of our Rebirth (Haumea in 26 Libra).

In other words, forget Cause, Logic, and Excuses, and Trust that, once we get out of Kansas, the Ruby Shoes of our Intuition will Guide us.  All of which gives us two assignments.  How does the third, mid-November, Confidence-Building Jupiter-Pluto Merger relate to the US election?  What does Joe Biden have in Libra?  We’ll save those questions for later while we Focus on our Rebirth.

We live in Virtual Reality, without artificial optoelectronic devices, in a Trance so deep that we don’t even know we’re in it.  Like Ken Kesey said, “You can trip out so far that you never get back to know that you left,” and for most of us that Amnesia definitely applies to Life on Earth, starting at our Decision to Incarnate.  Like the fable about the 3-year old who kept asking his parents if he could have a few minutes alone with his newborn sister, and the parents hesitated because they were aware of sibling rivalry.  Finally, they got a baby monitor so they could listen in, and let the 3-year-old have his interview.  What they heard was the 3-year-old asking the newborn to “Remind me what Heaven was like; I’m beginning to forget.”  Many of us Forget, most of the time, that we came here to do a job.  Forget that we’re actually Eternal Consciousness Experimenting with a Physical Body, rather than a Frozen Waffle with a g missing, Stapled to a Body or a Mind.

Most of our Trance is Cultural.  We get a lot of Programming of all sorts, but the basic Trance in our Family of Origin, or other First Circumstances, is the one we’re most motivated to adopt, just so we can Survive relatively efficiently.  In the “Developed” World, some of the deepest elements of that Trance include Linear Time, and Cause-and-Effect.  Try Living without both of those for a day, if you can even Conceive of doing so.  Cause-and-Effect is meaningless without Linear Time.  The planet that symbolizes our Trance is Pluto, and major Pluto astroevents Change the Trance.  When the Trance Changes, it’s not always as extreme as “Either we Change or we Die,” but that’s the basic idea.  Change is Difficult because it really is another Death, but an Ego Death, and “we” (our Ego) fears Ego Death as much as Physical Death, because item #1 in the Ego’s job description is “Keep the Entity Alive.”

Comparing our Lived Experience of December 2019 with our Lived Experience of June 2020, it’s easy to see how the Changes in our basic everyday Trance have been Extreme (this Pluto astroevent includes Saturn-Pluto [Identity], Jupiter-Pluto [“Grow or Wither“], Chariklo-Pluto [Confidence], Pallas-Pluto [Boundaries], and a number of other Big events such as a Decadal Change like Moon Out of Bounds [Emotionality], and longer-term Changes such as Ixion-Pholus-Quaoar [Response to Climate Change]) – and that’s after much of the Shift has been somewhat Remediated.  Make a mental note, so you’ll be more Prepared for the next Plutostorm.  Not to predict what will Change, but to Expect a Big Change so you can Upgrade your Resilience.

We were just about to interpret the 4 April Pluto-Jupiter Initiation “Can-Opener” chart, to help us Understand and Steer the next dozen years, and to help us Grok the current Energy, as we Experience the 29 June Jupiter-Pluto “Exposition” event.  (We defined “Can-Opener” and “Exposition” in the previous post.)  Here’s the 4 April chart again…

The Crux of the chart is the Challenge (T-Square) to Adapt to the World-Wide Compulsive Expansive Transformation (Jupiter-Pluto), or Trance Re-Formation, through Adjusting our Boundaries (asteroid Pallas).  The Root of the Challenge (base of the T-Square) lies in Accepting what we’ve been Denying (dwarf planet Eris) and Finessing the Eggo’s Resistance to Rebirth (dwarf planet Haumea).  The Challenge is not Self-Resolving (not a Diamond Star), but it does feature considerable Grace (a Double Trine Bridge, across the T-Square itself, rather than across the Opposite side of the Zodiac, as occurs in a Diamond Star).  We need a name for this Configuration.  For now I’ll call it what it looks like, a “Highway Bridge.”  Here it’s isolated in the heavy lines…

This Highway Bridge has the same quantity of Grace as a Diamond Star, but it’s not In Balance, it doesn’t fill up the Zodiacal Loop (dwarf planet Chaos would be one foot of a Diamond Star, but Diamond Stars require two).

What’s the Difference between a Highway Bridge and a Diamond Star?

There will be obvious Solutions to the Challenge in a Highway Bridge, but they won’t be Complete, they’ll leave out half the Picture.  When we Soften our Boundaries, they may Let In Energies we don’t Want.  When we Stiffen them, they may Exclude Energies we do Want.  For example.  Whatever Transformations we Allow, they’re likely to need Adjustment later.  We may Allow 98% of a Rebirth, but the other 2% may try to Sabotage our Transformation.  We may Open to 70% of What We’ve Been Denying, but the other 30% may Bedevil us.  A Diamond Star on the other hand is Completely Self-Resolving.  We can screw it up by Lacking Faith and Intervening, but otherwise, we’re Golden.

Returning to the original chart, we see that there are two other Bridges across the troublesome Revelation-Rebirth (Eris-Haumea) Opposition, in addition to the Highway Bridge, across the other side of the chart – a Big Contribution (Trine Bridge [Grace]) by Suspending Disbelief in the Impossible (dwarf planet Chaos [Unlimited Potential]), and an Interesting Contribution (Quincunx Bridge [Curiosity]) that can be made if we Explicitly Deal with our Fear (dwarf planet Sedna [Converting Fear to Power]).  To Manifest the latter, we’ll have to carefully Avoid trying to Understand what we’re Afraid Of (Quincunx) and Deal with our Fear directly as an Emotion, rather than working with our Thoughts about it.  Causes are always Thoughts.

The Highway Bridge itself also contains two pillars of Grace – Sustainability (dwarf planet Ceres [Sustainability and Sustenance]) and the Realization that Headquarters (the Galactic Center [literally, the Black Whole at the Center of the Milky Way]) has issued orders for us to Transcend our Programmed Beliefs (Bee-Zed, aka “514107” or “2015 BZ509,” which has recently received a real name, Ka’epaoka’awela – I think I’ll continue to use “Bee-Zed” [Transcendence]).  When we do that we may be amazed at how Disjointed friends and family can get when we Change.  Backing Down is not an option, however.  It’s not good for your Health to argue with a Black Whole.  Remember that the Easiest way to move toward Sustainability is to Jettison What We Don’t Need – Sustenance is the backside of the Sustainability Coin.  While that can be Scary, it can actually increase our Resilience.

So far so good.

We also Notice that there are two important Vacancies in the chart.  If we added a planet at 26 Cancer we’d Balance the Challenge (Convert the T-Square to a Grand Cross), and if we added a planet at 26 Leo we’d increase the Grace and Ease exponentially (by Completing both the Diamond Star and the Grand Sextile).  If you happen to have natal planets in those Locations, you’ll probably be Living a Life of Leisure for the next ten years.

The Vacancy Opposite Jupiter-Pluto-Pallas is a busy place.  The “Sabian” interpretation of Cancer 26 is “Guests are reading in the library of a luxurious home.”  We hope that means they are Learning their History and Herstory and Karma, so they don’t have to repeat it.

Asteroid Magdalena is there – I’ll wager everyone has different Associations with Magdalena!  The dwarf planet Cyrallus is also there.  Cyrallus was the Centaur married to Hylonome.  He was killed in the melee that followed Herakeles’s Opening of the Sacred Wine, and then Hylonome killed herself with the same spear.  And there are two Fixed Stars there.  Procyon projects Success, but it’s short-lived, and rapid Harvesting of any gains is recommended.  We don’t recommend assigning that one to Black Lives Matter – we can PIAVA long-lived and stable Success for BLM instead.  And Pollux.  He’s the darker twin of the Gemini twins Castor and.  Bernadette, in Brady’s Book of Fixes Stars, p.249, says “you will find yourself embroiled in the more shadowy side of the issues, with the pain or angst of the situation always seeming to be present.”

That’s okay, because we know that Tapping works well for exactly that purpose, to Let Go of the Negative.  When we Tap Out a nagging negative Emotion or Thought or Experience or Scenario, such as “Even though I’m Suffering over this Transformation, I Deeply and Completely Love and Accept Myself,” we Align our Energy Body with the Truth of our Experience.  That Alignment Dispels our Attachment to the Negativity, though we may have to repeat the Tapping sequence several times.  We can also Poor-Sweetheart ourself – “You Poor Sweetheart, you’re Suffering over this, aren’t you.”  If we Succeed in Changing the Subject afterwards, that too will dispel our Attachment to the Suffering.

Leo 26 Completes the Grand Sextile (Great Grace) and the Diamond Star (Self-Resolving Challenge).  The Star Alphard is there.  It’s the Heart of the Heavenly Serpent.  Bernadette says on pp.151-2 that “Its preferred expression is conscious passion… you are working with very strong feelings and will need to resist striking back in anger.  A better use of the energy is to focus on a subject or a cause to which you can devote your strength and determination” – to avoid manifestations that are “murderous and violent.”  This certainly draws a picture of White Supremacy and Colonialism, and makes an educated suggestion about how to begin to overcome it.

This is a very deep History.  Remember that it was Pope Nicolas V in the 15th Century that declared non-white non-Europeans subhuman and condemned them to “perpetual slavery.”  That was 19 Generations ago, which makes White Supremacy a very Deep Trance, and one that the Antichrist defends daily.  It’s unlikely to Let Go in a week or two.  Leo 26 is “After a heavy storm, a rainbow,” so there’s some hope for progress.

Remember this “Tumultuous Week“? …

That was the first week of April 2020, when Our Willingness to Accept our Forbidden Genius in order to Respond to Climate Change was all Lit Up (Ixion [Forbidden Genius], Pholus [Response or Denial], and Quaoar [Survival Instincts] all Stationary [Strong]).  And of course we were busily Reliving “9/11” (Moon beginning a decade going Out of Bounds for a few days every two weeks, after staying In Bounds for a decade), disguised as a Virus this time around.  And beginning to Recover from (the first decline of?) the fastest “Bear Market” in recorded history, in the US stock market.  It was so busy that we didn’t have time to write about what would otherwise be a Big Deal, the Merging (Conjunction) or the Energy of Expansion (Jupiter) and the Energy of Compulsory Transformation (Pluto).

Here’s the chart of that 4 April 2020 (7:40 pm PDT) Jupiter-Pluto Conjunction in 25 Capricorn…

Why are we thinking about this 3-month-old chart?  Turns out we’re Reliving it, as the Energies of Expansion and Compulsory Transformation are Merging (Retrograde Jupiter Conjunct Retrograde Pluto in 25 Capricorn) for the second time, culminating 29 June (9:30 pm PDT).  As many of you know, when two planets Merge, they often Dance the Three-Step – they cross, then stop and back up to cross a second time, then stop again and then finally cross for a third time (some planets even do the Five-Step or Seven-Step and more).  We have names to distinguish these three crossings from one another.

We call the first crossing the “Can-Opener” because it usually introduces a Problem of some kind.  The Energy of the current Three-Step Dance is about Expanding into Compulsory Transformation.  Well, we definitely saw the Planet as a Whole Expanding into Compulsory Transformation, didn’t we.  You can even see the Sky in Beijing and Los Angeles!  Many of us as individuals Experienced this Transformation as a Problem, all right, and those of us without effective Community still do.  Not to mention those of us who were Challenged directly by the Virus.

We name the second crossing of the Three-Step Dance – the current one – the “Exposition,” because the Problem repeats itself, but this time (with at least the faster, Active planet Retrograde) it unfolds more slowly, giving us the Opportunity to Grok the issue, and make some attempts to Respond to the Problem rather than just Reacting.  The Exposition phase of the Three-Step is when we Learn more about how to handle the Issue.  (In the case of the Five-Step, Seven-Step, and More-Step Dances, all of the crossings except the first one and the final one are multiple Expositions.)

This particular Issue, Expanding into Compulsory Transformation (Jupiter-Pluto), reccurs every 12-13 years, so we do have Experience with it, at least if we’re over 30 (we may not be Trustworthy, but we are Experienced).  If we look back in herstory and history, the last time it occurred was in 2007 – the Derivatives Crash that most folks, following the propaganda of the time, referred to as the “Housing Crisis.”  That tells us that current Transformation events aren’t really about the Virus, as the headlines would have us Believe.  They’re about what John Perkins in Touching the Jaguar calls the Death Economy, often called Predatory Capitalism, or the modern version of Colonialism.

If you haven’t read any of John’s books, now would be an excellent time to start, beginning with Touching the Jaguar.  If you’re at all curious about any of the Conspiracy Theories around the Virus, it will be very educational.  And you’ll end up Grokking much more of what Expanding into Compulsory Transformation is all about.

We highly recommended this book recently, along with Larry Korn’s One-Straw Revolutionary, but we weren’t explicit about why we recommended them – because they’re the best Expositions of 5D I’ve run across so far.  Michael Roads’s Through the Eyes of Love series goes into more depth, but it’s far beyond the Skillset of many of us, thus easily dismissed as Fantasy by folks who don’t understand much about the Spirit Realms.  Touching the Jaguar and One-Straw Revolutionary may be ambitious, but they’re completely feasible from the 3D Perspective.  And I’ve found another book to join these two – Masanobu Fukuoka’s Planting Seeds in the Desert.

Previous episodes of Expanding into Compulsory Transformation occurred in 1906, 1918, 1931, 1943, 1956, 1968, 1981, and 1994.  Many of those years were indeed significantly Transformative.  In addition to the obvious, we might note that 1918 included the Spanish Flu, 1943 included race riots, and 1981 included the beginning of the AIDS epidemic.  Intriguing that Microsoft Bing chose this evening to put the Empire State Building on it’s headline page, as it was completed in 1931.  On the page it’s illuminated in rainbows for Pride Week in 2014.

The third crossing of the Three-Step Dance is called the “Confidence-Builder” because at that point we re-Experience the Issue but this time we have enough Experience to sail through it.  In this case that will occur in mid-November.  That would be a good Timeline for putting the current Virus behind us, if we’re ever in a position where we have to make a prediction.  With luck, and if enough of us PIAVA it, we may be able to put other current issues behind us as well.

Remember that the Energy comes first and the Physical follows.  The more time we spend Meditating on How we’ll Feel when we’re in 5D, the faster we’ll get there.

This is an Initiation – a Can-Opener of a Merger between two planets (first Conjunction in a Three-Step).  That means that the chart above will define how we will Expand into Compulsory Transformation for the next dozen years.  This Cycle begins at 25 Capricorn, “A store filled with precious Oriental rugs.”  While Oriental rugs are luxury items today, their original use was as large very tightly woven rugs used by desert nomads to keep their tent floors from being overwhelmed by Sand.  So it’s reasonable to Believe we might see politics “Cleaned Up” a bit over the next decade (the Active portion of a 12-year Cycle lasts about 10 years).  On the other hand, the desert nomads were terribly Patriarchal.  However, the rugs are displayed in a store – the original use is no more.

The 29 June chart (next post) then will tell us about how we’re Learning about Expanding into Compulsory Transformation here at this Exposition, but the 4 April chart above will tell us about the next dozen years.  So to interpret the next few days, we should start by interpreting the 4 April chart.  The nature of the Initiation of a new astrological Cycle is that the Energy of the new Cycle is Lit Up around the time of the Initiation, but then goes underground for a while (until the Waxing Square, which will occur in mid-May 2023) as those who are heavily invested in the Old Cycle blast us with propaganda about how superior the Energy of the Old Cycle is.

Or rather, in this era where the Capitalists own the media, pretend that the New Cycle doesn’t exist.  Fortunately, there are a few bastions of actual Journalism left that also report on the New Cycle’s Energy.  So, if we look at what’s been happening over the last 3-4 months, what do we see?

• A bump up in our mortality rate, obviously.
• Severe debilitation by Virus and by treatment.
• Governments acting like “Third-World” countries.
• Minorities banding together to Insist on their Huperity.
• Remarkable Environmental Recovery even while the Antichrist peels away legal protections by the truckload.
• Death Capitalism grinding to a halt.
• Lots of people Threatened with Economic catastrophe.
• Lots of people Helping one another.
• Diminished Materialism and Globalization.
• Massive Confusion as Polarization grows.
• Resistance to Denial and Prevarication.

What am I leaving out?

We Create our own Reality, so we can pick and choose which of these we want to Expand into the New Cycle, which we’ll then want to Experience Directly as Energy, PIAVAing that we Manifest them for ourself.  You can put Energy into What You Want For Others, but that’s thinner ice.  Even if you know what they say they Want, you don’t want to Compete against their Negative Unconscious Wants by trying to “Fix” their Karma for them – guess who will win that contest.  You’ve got more than enough to do to Revert your own Negative Unconscious Wants!

We’ll need to look to see which of these are Supported by the 4 April chart, and emphasize those.  We’ll look at that tomorrow.  Then we want to look at the 29 June chart and see what it contributes.  Mañana.

Cause an Defect Full Moon II

At the Jupiter-Pluto Square, asteroid Aletheia (Truth) Opposes Pluto, creating a Jupiter T-Square, or a Challenge to Face the Truth about whatever it is you’ve been trying to sweep under the rug.  There are however three Bridges to mitigate the Challenge.  Most important, the Grace of Self-Love will eliminate a lot of Difficulty (asteroid Sappho makes a Trine Bridge across the T-Square).  Curiosity will also be Powerful…

• I Wonder what inhibits my Self-Sovereignty (Lilith makes a Quincunx Bridge)
• I Wonder what Habits I can Change and how I might Change them (asteroid Atropos also makes a Quincunx Bridge)

It’s important to Remember that these are not questions for the Dualistic mind, they’re PIAVAs for the multidimensional Intuition, and must be followed by Changing the Subject.  If the mind tries to Answer them, you can write it down as a possibility, thank the mind for contributing, then Change the Subject more vigorously so you can forget what you PIAVAed.  If you can’t do that, your current thought Patterns will discard whatever your Intuition wants to contribute. 

An exception – often the mind will dismiss as politically unacceptable an immediate Intuition.  So it’s always useful to check to see if the Intuition you seek was just Rejected by the mind.  Still, write it down as a possibility, Change the Subject again, and once you’ve forgotten your PIAVA you can come back and Pay Attention to see if another Intuition popped up while you were washing dishes, or the TV program you used to Change the Subject just illuminated you, or if the possibilities you jotted down previously seem like paths worth pursuing.

Note that we use “mind” to refer to the “Left Brain” or intellectual, Logical, Dualistic, thinking mind.  Many traditions use “mind” in a larger sense, to include Intuition.  Of course dividing our Head into Left and Right “Brains” is a Dualism as well.  Different people have different sources for their Intuition – for some it’s the Heart, for others the Belly, or the Third Eye, or the Crown Chakra, and for you it could be the Faery who lives in the Salmonberry bush outside your kitchen window.  And from the Perspective of Energy Medicine, your thoughts don’t emanate from your Head at all, but from your Solar Plexus.

Let’s take an example.  Suppose you PIAVA “I Wonder what inhibits my Self-Sovereignty” and the thought “My Spouse” or “My boss immediately pops up.  Well, even if that’s actually an Intuition (ie, that thought had never occurred to you before), it’s not the Intuition you seek because it Gives Away your Power.  You Create your Reality, not your Spouse or your Boss.  (Of course if you’re Soulmates who aren’t fully Self-Loving, you’ll always Project onto one another the parts of yourselves that you don’t Love yet.)  Change the Subject, K?

If you’re unable to Change the Subject, you’re Obsessing, and you may need to PIAVA that you Learn not to Obsess.  Wouldn’t it be funny if your Obsessiveness Inhibited your Self-Sovereignty, or if it was a Pattern that you would want to Change.  Voila, an Intuition.

There is a third Quintile Bridge – to Asbolus, which symbolizes Intuition itself, reinforcing our need to invoke Intuition to meet the Challenge of Facing Up to the Truth about whatever it is we’ve been trying to Blame on the Cat.  Or at least to Wonder if we can Invite a deeper level of Intuition to arise more often, and if we can Invite the Filters embedded in our thought Patterns and Beliefs to block them less often.

The gold lines on the chart show a Mjölnir or Hammer of Thor, pointing to dwarf planet OR10 from the Jupiter-Aletheia Square.  Mjölnirs are about Lightning Insights and Epiphanies, in this case coming from all of the historical and Herstorical Vignettes we’ve been Experiencing.

The purple lines show a Quintile Yod – meaning Pay Attention to Learning This! – pointing to the North Node from Chiron (Healing) and Pluto (Trance Reformation), implying that we’ll be Learning a lot about our Mission in the Lifetime from all these Adventures.

Finally, the three heavy green lines show two interlocking Fingers of God or Yods (also collectively known as a Sextile Fez), pointing at Pluto and Asbolus.  That tells us that Trance Reformation (Pluto) and Intuition (Asbolus) should be primary objects of our Attention (the Yods), and that maintaining Curiosity and Eschewing Certainty about Trance Reformation and Intuition will help us short-circuit the Challenges we’re likely to Encounter around Conflicts between our Egoic Attachments to Limiting Beliefs on the one hand, and our Self-Love on the other (the Square from Atropos/Endings to Sappho/Self-Love).

The Aletheia-Jupiter Square is also Waning, and that Cycle began in December 2009 at 22 Aquarius, “A rug on the floor of a nursery allows children to play in comfort and warmth.”  So as we move into the Void phase of this Cycle then, we might Expect some Austerity.  But wait.  We roll our own, don’t we.

Astrology tells us where we’re likely to go if we follow our Fate.  But our Fate is bound up in our Unconscious Beliefs and the Archetypes to which we’ve been Hypnotized.  To break free of our Fate we need only bring these Beliefs and Archetypes into Consciousness where they can be Changed.  That’s the sense in which we are denizens of “Free Will.”

Astrology tells us about what’s going on in the Unconscious.  But the Unconscious is Non-Dual.  So Astrology tells us Dimensions – in this case our Degree of “Comfort and Warmth” (and by the way, Warm is Love and Cool is Fear, just as the Absence of Warmth is Coolth).  So, if we’re Conscious, we supply the Direction – more Comfort and Warmth, or less Comfort and Warmth.  Yes, we’re moving toward Sustenance, but that’s about Giving Up what is Unnecessary, not about Giving Up what we Enjoy.

By entering the Void phase, we know that, as far as Truth (Aletheia) and Expansion (Jupiter) go, we may no longer be able to “play in comfort and warmth.”  Ah, that’s the missing piece isn’t it.  As Jupiter-Pluto Asks us to Reform our Trances around the places where we’re Out of Truth, we’ll be Experiencing some Discomfort and Fear as we Adjust.

So we need a PIAVA that will let us Have our Pudding and Eat it too.  Maybe something like, “Ganeshi My Love, Please Remove All Obstacles to my Enjoying enough Comfort and Warmth while my Trances around my Relationship to Truth are being Reformed, that I’m not Tempted to Abandon my Genius Project.”

Cause an Defect Full Moon I

As we said last time, things haven’t felt very satisfying or stable the last several days, as Jupiter Squares Pluto, amplified by the impending 7 August Full-Moon Partial Eclipse, prelude to the 21 August Big One.   The Jupiter-Pluto Cycle is about Expanding our Transformation, and the two Squares in the Cycle are about being Challenged to Master the next stage of our Transmogrification. 

Remember that Pluto astroevents are like floating down a big River.  You can hear the roar of the rapids ahead and you can steer to one bank or the other to portage around them, but if you try to paddle upstream you’ll just get swept backwards over the falls.  So Resistance is not only futile, it’s Self-Destructive.  Go with the Flow.

Of the two Squares in any Cycle (when the two planets are three Signs apart), the first or Waxing Square is about being Challenged to Let Go of the dregs of the previous Cycle and fully Commit to the present one.  The second or Waning Square is about Letting Go of any Attachment you’ve made to the current Cycle, because the Energies of the current Cycle are disintegrating.  Think Barnes & Noble, post-Amazon.

So, what are we Letting Go of – what’s the Current Cycle about?  It was Initiated 12 December 2007 at 29 Sagittarius, “A fat boy mowing the lawn of his house on an elegant suburban street.”  Always a puzzling Symbol.  Rudhyar’s interpretation seems oriented toward Materialism, Ego, and Status-Quo; he sometimes did that.  Sagittarius is itself about Letting Go, Spiritual Fire, burning away what’s Obsolete, before we start over on version 4.0 with a whole new Grounding, and the last Degree of Sagittarius should be a final big Catharsis. 

So the Symbol is Antonymous.  Being Non-Dual, the Unconscious Loves tko be Antonymous.  That’s why She has a reputation as a Trickster.  So what means it?  Well, the “elegant” neighborhood tells us we’re dealing with Materiality and probably Ego-Attachment.  Elsie Channeled these Symbols in the 1930s, so the boy’s heft is probably not a symptom of the modern Salt- and Sugar- and Chemical-laden microwaved synthetic GMO diet, but simply to Over-Indulgence.  Of course it could be genetic; the boy may be on his way to becoming the fastest Offensive Lineman in the NFL, but I don’t think the adjective “fat” would be the most apt word to describe that.

The “fat” conflicts with “mowing,” as we’re used to associating fat with inactivity.  So it’s easy to imagine the lad sweating and grumbling to himself.  Perhaps it’s a punishment – if he did it frequently he’d probably weigh less.  Every time I see that Symbol I can’t help but think of J.R. Simplot’s house in Boise, which is perched on top of a small hillock, 30-40 feet above the elegant suburban street, surrounded by lawn on the slopes, which seem not so far from vertical.  Boise is hot in the summer, when grass grows, so this kid is unlikely to make it through even one mowing without hospitalization.

Now, if we add to this image the fact that since 2007 we’ve seen a vast reorganization of modern Life, the Symbol smacks of the need for Sustainability.  Sustainability and Sustenance are really the same thing, and they imply Letting Go of the Unnecessary.  What it reminds me of is the ongoing Pholus-Quaoar-Galactic Center Stellium, which in no uncertain terms reminds us that we’re Responsible for the Survival of the Planet. 

So Bottom Line, this Jupiter-Pluto Cycle is about Letting Go of our Materialism, and the Waning Square of the Cycle is about Stepping Away from that Letting Go.  The nature of a Waning Square is that we don’t know what comes next.  Our Assignment is to clear away all Expectations so we can be Open to the next Cycle without preconceptions.  If we knew what the next Cycle was about, we’d contaminate it by viewing it through the eyes of the old Cycle.  In other words, our Transformation is no longer about Letting Go of Attachment to Materialism.  It’s about Curiosity and Wonder.

The Waning Square was Exact at half-past 10am PDT on 4 August.  When outer planets make Angles to one another, they often do it three or more times, which gives us Opportunities to practice.  This is the third time Jupiter has Squared Pluto.  We call the third time a “Confidence-Builder” event, because by now we’ve had our practice.  The first Waning Square was 24 November 2016; we call that the “Can-Opener” because if we don’t do astrology, we’re usually caught off guard by the abrupt shift in Energy.

So if you have a journal you can look to see what sort of Experiences you Enjoyed (or otherwise), internally and externally, Circumstances and Reactions, last mid-November, as the Energy was intensifying.  If you don’t have a journal you can look back to https://astrobuss.wordpress.com/2016/11/26/the-thousand-vignettes/ and the several posts preceding it.  It was a very busy time. 

The second Waning Square is usually when the faster planet is Retrograde, so we Experience the same Energies less Dramatically, giving us time and space to Learn more about them.  We call this second recurrence an “Exposition” because it Exposes more information about what’s going on.  Whatever we didn’t resolve at the Can-Opener (when we’re often Overwhelmed by the new Energy) or at the Exposition, will be Lit Up now, at the Confidence-Builder. 

It’s mop-up time around Materialism and Ego-Attachment to it.  There’s a big White House on the east coast of the US where all that’s being Acted Our for us in Real Time on Reality TV.  With a fat boy mowing the greens of his elegant suburban golf course even.

Cause an Defect

A friend asks, “What do your Arcturian friends say about us creating our own reality?

Same thing Seth said in The Nature of Personal Reality.  If we want to know our Karma (the Beliefs and Habit Patterns we came into the Lifetime with, whether Productive or Self-Sabotaging in each stage of the current Life), just look at our Lifetime so far.  What we’ve Created, and are Creating, is Who We Are, Karmically.  We have the Power to Change it, sometimes quite simply, other times with impossible difficulty.  First step is to Notice what we’re Creating and have Created, and Recognize that We have Created it. 

At this point we have to stop and Examine whether we’re In Blame.  Blame is about assigning Cause to something.  It’s about the Past.  Responsibility is about Recognizing that, one way or another, we have the Power to Change Future Outcomes.  People who are unable to step out of Blame will never be able to Recognize that they Create their own Reality.  Their Reality is stuck in circular finger-pointing, and it won’t Change till they figure out how to step off of the Blame treadmill.

If we can step out of Blame then…

Is What we’re Creating What We Want?  If not then we need to Change it.  99% percent of ourself is Unconscious, and the Unconscious is non-Dual, so the Dualistic Mind can’t do the job.  The Mind is a screwdriver, the Unconscious is put together with bolts.  Cause and Effect is a Linear process, quite relevant to the realm of the Ego, but the Unconscious operates by different rules.  Time isn’t even Linear in the Unconscious – are your Dreams Linear?

Best tools for influencing the Unconscious that I’ve found so far are the PIAVAs.  Think about Intention, for instance – you’re starting with Effect and then producing Cause!  So much for Linear Time.

Yes, our Childhood Programming is overlain on top of our Karma.  But who Created our Childhood Programming?  We did.  Not We/Ego, but We/Soul.  No Judgment here; We/Soul just decided We Wanted to have more Experience in a certain arena or several.  In that sense We/Soul Chose our parents and the propaganda mills that would Program us – to Reinforce our Karma so we’d Notice it and be inspired to Change it. 

It is my opinion that at least some of us came to this Planet at this time in order to Assist the Planet to finish business with the Age of Pisces.  Pisces must Eschew Blame if it is to find the elevator to the next level and “get out of going through all this twice” as Dylan put it.  In that context We/Soul have adopted for We/Ego (prior to Enlightenment) a set of Karma as if it were a set of underwear; it isn’t even really “ours,” we’ve just picked it out at Goodwill because it reflects how We/Soul have Chosen to Assist the Planet.

Which is a fine way to look at it regardless – Karma is Inertia, not Retribution, so it actually has no Value (as in good or bad), it’s Neutral, just as we need to be Neutral in order not to get sucked into the Drama that the Age of Pisces gets stuck in.  Neutrality means that we don’t have any investment in any of the Outcomes, other than, optionally, those we’ve Chosen to Change.  And in fact, one of the best way to Change anything is through Acceptance.  To go one step further, we could say, unequivocally, that Nothing Changes until we Accept it Exactly As It Is.

Which simply means that we’ve Noticed that we’ve Created it, and since we Realize that, as John (and Michael Roads) says, All There Is (That’s Real) Is Love, then we have no Choice but to figure out how to Love what we’ve Created.  For instance, consider our Genius Project.  Of course we’re frustrated because it hasn’t paid off on the first try.  Duh.  How many Lifetimes have we (or the Planet) been working on this Project?  Do we Expect to Change it with one PIAVA?  (Of course it might; we might just be ready.)

What has happened so far with our Genius Project, and how do we Feel about it?  Have we figured out how to Embrace those Feelings Lovingly, so we can Lovingly Embrace what’s happened so far, so we can get on to the next step?  We need at least to Poor-Sweetheart them.  This is the Pay Attention stage of the PIAVA process.  How is what has happened related to What We Want? 

Have we appeared to move in the wrong direction?  That’s where I’m at.  That’s very common, because the Unconscious is Asking and Telling We/Ego, “Do you Trust us?  If you won’t Hold the Intention, we can’t Hold it for you.” It’s Ego that has Focus, not the Unconscious.  It takes a Partnership to Manifest.  Even a Village.

If it feels like Nothing has happened, or something unexpected has indeed happened, but it doesn’t appear to be Related to our Genius Project, then we might have to PIAVA that we come to grok (as opposed to “understand”) the Relationship well enough that we know what to do next to bring our Forbidden Genius out of Hiding.  Or better yet, just PIAVA that we take the appropriate next step, period, and just bypass the Linear Mind, and the Controlling Status-Quo-Loving Ego, entirely.

Are we making any sense?

We mentioned the Grand Sextile that asteroid Eurydike (Trust) completes, which includes the ongoing Golden Rectangle with Ixion, Chaos, Haumea, and Uranus-Eris-Ceres, which we’ve been discussing for a while as Grace-Full Recovery of our Abandoned Genius.  And we mentioned the two ancillary T-Squares to Chiron (Self-Empathy for difficult Emotions) and Lilith (Self-Sovereignty).  

All together, this is a very positive combination of Ease (the Grand Sextile) and Motivation (the T-Squares).  Michael Roads would see it as a lovely Torsion between Structure and Drive, between Stability and Change, frequently flashing the Brilliant White of Balance.

The Jupiter-Pluto Square itself occurs at 16 of Libra and Capricorn, at about 3pm PST.  As we detailed in the previous post, this is about Letting Go of Insecurity.  Its several companions (Moon – Instinct, Venus – Values, and Lachesis – Timing of Ego Shifts) smear it across the following several days.  

The times given are the times when the astroevent is exact or complete – most of us are likely to feel the Energy start to abate about then.  Should be interesting relative to any Challenges around other people you’re hanging out with.  The durations in parens are a guess at how long ahead of time we’re likely to be Feeling the Energy – depending on your Sensitivity of course…

    • Waning Jupiter-Pluto Square, Asking us to Expand into Emptiness.  The Eurydike/Eurydice story is about failure to escape from Pluto’s Realm (the Other Side of the Veil) because of Lack of Trust; the suggestion here is that we Expand our Metaphysical Self to encompass Pluto and his Realm.  (a month)
    • Lachesis Inititates Venus at 16 Capricorn, “Recess“; beginning a 16-month Cycle where it’s Important that we Suspend our Values so they can reorganize themselves to make sense of our recent and forthcoming Experience with the Changes.  If you hear yourself starting to say “I’m [not] the kind or person who…” swallow it so you don’t stop yourself from Growing.  (a day)

    • Moon Waning Square Lachesis, Voiding of a one-month Cycle that Initiated at 9 Capricorn on 4 November; the Angel that’s been with us packs up her Harp, getting ready to leave.  (3 hours)

    • Moon Squares Pluto; this is a Waning Square in a Cycle that began on 5 November at 16 Capricorn, and essentially means that Recess is over.  (3 hours)

  • 6am – Venus Waxing Squares Jupiter, moving a one-year Cycle into Full Visibility; the Cycle began in late August at 28 Virgo, “A bald man has seized Power.”  So, now we know it’s a wig.  (a day)

  • 5am – Pluto Initiates Lachesis at 16 Capricorn, Recess again; this starts a four-year Cycle where we’re expected to be wearing the right uniform.  Ouch.  (a week)

  • Lachesis Waxing Square Jupiter, bringing into Full View a six-year Cycle that began in May 2014 at 20 Cancer, “Venetian gondoliers giving a serenade,” where we gain Energy by breaking with tradition.  About that uniform.  (a week)

Mooning Uranus

That’s pronounced Yer’-en-us, just so’s there’s no confusion.  Sounds like “you’re in us.”  She’s gorgeous, isn’t she?  Notice that she’s tipped 90 degrees, so her polar axis is parallel to her orbit, not perpendicular to it like all of the other planets.  Not particularly into Conformity, that Uranus.  She’s like one of those people that are so rich that they don’t care what you think of them.  Did you know she wears Rings?

The Uranus Grand Cross

As the Moon passes over Uranus (which it’s doing as I write), Venus is moving into Opposition, completing the Grand Cross with Pluto and Lilith-Jupiter.  Venus Opposing Uranus implies we gain Awareness of what it’s like to Walk in Beauty – in Yintegrity.  This Venus-Uranus Cycle began in late March at 9 Aries…

Lilith being slower (ie, more profound) than Jupiter, we’d normally assign the Cat role to Lilith.  But since the Mouse hasn’t been eaten yet, we see that the Cat must be on the defensive.  Jupiter’s the first social planet, so what if we cast Jupiter in the role of the traditional Culture, and Lilith (Feminine Instinct) in the role of the underpuppy.  That would certainly match the historical narrative.  And the current trend, where the traditional Culture is defensively backpeddling like crazy trying to keep a rising Feminine under its thumb.

The Jupiter-Pluto Cycle began in December 2007 at 29 of Sagittarius…

A Jupiter-Pluto Cycle would be about Accelerating Transformation and I’m not sure why, but every time I run across this image it feels like the drama is about to break wide open.  Maybe because the lad is overweight and thus out of tune with the lawn order implied.

The longest – or dominant – Cycle here is Lilith-Pluto, begun in August 1999 at 8 Sagittarius…

which Rudhyar reads as

“The alchemical fire which both purifies and transforms the very substance of one’s inner life“

Now this is a Grand Cross, so these Alchemical Transformations into Yintegrity should Balance one another.  The four Squares would be

1. Moon-Uranus Waxing Square to Pluto: Manifestation of Mandatory Yintegrity
2. Venus Waning Square to Pluto: Release of obsolete Values
3. Venus Waxing Square to Jupiter-Lilith: Formation of new Values that support the cultural Expansion of the role of Feminine Instinct
4. Jupiter-Lilith Waxing Square to Uranus: Wondering how long the charade of repressing the Feminine can persist before it just stops working

The Moon’s Waning Square to Jupiter-Lilith would be short-term.

Bear in mind that what is repressed into the Unconscious actually runs the show; it’s just that the Conscious Ego in its Denial doesn’t notice the Pattern.  So it’s quite the Cosmic Joke really.  The implication is Do what you want – it doesn’t really matter because it’s all gonna work out just fine.

The Nodes Grand Cross

Meanwhile Comet ISON is Opposing Juno, completing the Grand Cross with the Nodes, and resurrecting our fun adventures with our own self-sabotage Patterns.  We’ve been working on this for awhile – what, since May?  Are you making progress?  Or still shooting yourself in the foot?  You don’t know?  Well, what if you did know?

The Grand Trine

Except for the Vacancies, we still have a hobbled Grand Sextile for another couple of days, till Mercury moves into position #6 on August 27, followed by the Sun on August 31.  So that leaves us with only one Grand Trine, Jupiter/Lilith to Chiron to North Node.  This is incredibly beneficent, because it includes a corner of each Grand Cross, making enormous Grace flow between the two!  Getting Aware of the ways we sabotage ourselves, and Recognizing the cultural transformations that are going on, when taken together, exponentially accelerate one another.  The result? – What’s the third planet in the Grand Trine?  Chiron?  Isn’t that Miracles?

The Unconscious and Mirrors

And on that note, I want to repeat an old post that I ran across the other day – That’s Uranus Talkin’ Atcha – that’s very relevant to The Now, and I thought, well put.  I’ll edit it a little to bring it up to date…

You know my Party Line about the three traditional Outer Planets and their consort Chiron…

Since we’re talking about the Unconscious, Heads are Tails and Tails are Heads – you have to focus on the Coin.

These planets are about Disruption (Uranus), Confusion (Neptune), Deconstruction (Pluto), and Despair about all that (Chiron) – and as well about Integrity (Uranus), Clarity (Neptune), TranceFormation (Pluto), and Miracles (Chiron).  It’s easy to say that you get the first set of characteristics when you look through Material Eyes (Matter), and the second set when you look through Spiritual Eyes (Energy), and in general, that’s a very useful metaphor.

Dances of these planets can Disrupt whatever is out of Integrity in your Life, Confuse you wherever your priorities and motives are Unclear, Deconstruct any old Trances that are obsolete and in need of Reformation, and signal you that it’s time to chuck it all and start over, by dumping you into Despair.  We all run around in Trance, all of the time, so don’t try to kid yourself about being immune.  And while you’re at it, don’t forget that Confusion is the first stage of Growth!

By now we’ve gotten ample information about what’s out of integrity in our Lives.  The hardest things to recognize are the most important, and the most central to our Lives, closest to our Essence.  So if you’re still suffering, that’s good, it means you’re onto some really really Core Issues.  You just have to remember that we’re talking way way up above the plane where the Ego operates – if the Unconscious was a Satellite, the Ego would be a Kite.  Yes, a Kite all dolled up to look smashing!  Only with the right angle, good weather, and a glint from the Sun, would we ever even see the Unconscious.

It is very possible to work with the Unconscious, but there are rules.  As Ursula would put it, Rules Change in the Reaches.  And how true that is! 

• First, there is no Cause and Effect – that’s an artifact of Linear Time, which is a mass Trance.  Time ended, remember?  We just haven’t changed all of our Patterns to adjust yet. 
• Second, of course no Either/Or or Contradiction.  That happens in the mechanical mind, which doesn’t even go up to the Kite level, more like the Hip Pocket level – the Ego’s way smarter than the mechanical mind, at least it knows how to keep us alive.  The Unconscious is totally and completely Both/And.
• The Third Rule is that you don’t petition the Unconscious to preserve or create any particular Realities, you kneel before it and humbly Ask it to share its plans with you, .  It’ll replace you with a Walk-In in a minute if you get too uppity – don’t think it hasn’t happened before!

Not that the Unconscious is nasty – that’s Freudian Old-Testament Firebreather Trash, er, I mean Trance, that some of your ancestors got stuck on and never could figure out how to break out of.  I think they liked the illusions of Power and Order.  If you’re trapped in one of those, just pray for a Rapture so you can start over cleanly.  There’s NOTHING that the Unconscious loves more than your commitment to cooperate with it!!  It has plans that are going to happen anyway, and it’s a lot easier to ride shotgun than to try to fight for the steering wheel or cower in the back seat.  It needs Trust, and that’s about Faith, and that’s going be your major contribution.  Sure, you’ll be chipping in for the gas, but you won’t even notice that.

While Uranus represents the most personal region of the Unconscious, even there, personal doesn’t mean anything like your Ego imagines (such as Wow, I’m really special! or Hoo, am I a piece of sheet!).  It just means that the Uranus region of the Unconscious is more about your own Soul Chord than anyone else’s.  Of course, your Twigmates aren’t far off, but they have their own Twigs.  Not at all a lonely place, it’s permeated with all-knowing, non-judging Unconscious Energy, and inhabited by Angels.

So the first thing “we” (the Ego) have to do, is Surrender.  Not give up (though that’ll work too), but give over.  I know your reading time is limited, but in Truth or Dare Starhawk does such a fabulous job of describing the difference between Power Over and Power With, that you’ll never regret looking it up.  I mean, gosh, it’s only a chapter, and I’m not even asking you to read Who Dies? in this post – though of course you’d be infinitely happier if you did.  It is terribly relevant.

You can call your Unconscious whatever you like – Fred, Wilma, God, Great Big Me, Higher Self, the Underwhere, or Faraway Winker.  But you do want to talk to It/Him/Her.  Let Them know you’re declaring the intention to cooperate with whatever They have in mind for you next – you know the story –

Curiosity, and Expect Miracles. 

If there’s anything you really don’t want, like Pain, or Ennui, or Big-time Hassles, just let Them know.  They aren’t out to torture you – it’s your childhood programming that believes in No Pain No Gain.  The way the Universe really works is Big Grace Big Gains, but you have to Intend it, or it’ll pass you by while you aren’t looking.  You could use something like…

I dedicate myself to collaborating with the Unconscious in Grace (though I have no idea what that means!), rapidly, completely, lovingly, and gently.

Then just distract yourself with something pleasant, and leave the rest up to Them.  Believe me, They’re up to the task!
