I always get Pluto and Goofy mixed up, but I guess it’s Pluto that Supervises our current post-Eclipse Portal, not Goofy. And I’m sure Pluto’s 1-2 May 2023 Station helped make the Eclipse Portal so Heavy. But we don’t want to Pre-Judge it.

Before we get too Deep, let’s take care of some minor details…

• Mercury turned Retrograde today 21 April 2023, at PDT 1:34 am, BST 9:34 am, IST 2:04 pm, AEST 6:34 pm, in 16 Taurus (The Compulsive Truth of Love). It backs up till 14-15 May, PDT 8:16 pm 14th, BST 4:16 am 15th, IST 8:46 am, AEST 1:16 pm, in 6 Taurus (Persistence at Opening the Heart). If you run into hiccups while Traveling or Communicating while Mercury is Retrograde, First, Recall that Mercury is Retrograde; Second, Say Hi to Mercury.
• He’s a Trickster, and he’s trying to get yer Goat. Don’t get Uptight (he’ll Love that!), just Chuckle and Wink, to let him know you’re Paying Attention and you’re on to him. He’s constantly Amused by Doing these Jokes (and Expects us to be Amused too). Doesn’t matter to him whether you Fall For It or not, he just Loves Doing it. If everybody’s Chuckling, he’s having a Great Day! Every time I’ve Waved and Winked (like this morning when my ATM ran out of money), he’s Winked back and immediately showed me a Workaround. He’s not Malicious.

• The Moon Goes Out of Bounds North 22-23 April, at PDT 9:50 am 22nd, BST 5:50 pm 22nd, IST 10:20 pm 22nd, AEST 2:50 am 23rd, in 4 Gemini, Compulsively Drawn Toward the Ephemeral. Folks on the Northern Half of the Planet are more likely to Panic than they were yesterday. The Moon Returns In Bounds on 27-28 April, PDT 2:59 pm 27th, BST 10:59 pm 27th, IST 3:29 am 28th, AEST 7:59 am 28th, in 8 Leo, A Charmed Life, Proud of Surrendering to Spirit, but Modest in Recognizing that Grace is Spirit’s Work, Not Yours. Be Alert for Hurtful Jealousy.

Now, where were we? Oh yeah, we were just about to join Pluto…

Pluto’s a Big Deal to most astrologers, and appropriately so. It’s always been the Poster Child for the then-current State of the Weltanschauung of Society. We interpret it as mapping what Jung called the Universal Unconscious. In Jung’s view there were three overlapping major layers of the Unconscious – the Individual (Uranus), the Cultural (Neptune), and the Universal (Pluto). That still works…

• Uranus finished an 84-year Cycle and entered Aries when Linear Time ended in 2012. Aries is Creative Spirit. Spirit is In Charge, with Ego dragged along behind it on its ass. Aries is quite Prideful, so Ego is Puffed Up, but poke it once and it’ll Blubber all over about how Lost it Feels. Uranus got to Taurus in 2020, hand in hand with COVID. Taurus is Well Grounded, and with Ego Humiliated by now, it’s a lot Easier for the Soul to Connect. We often refer to Uranus in Taurus as Soul Descending into Matter. COVID gave us the Space to Integrate it, to the extent that we have.

• In 2026, Uranus moves into Gemini. At that point Ego gets a rude Awakening – just as it Feels like it’s starting to Understand what’s going on, Soul ups the Frequency several Octaves, and the best the Ego can do is to Hold On for “Dear Life” – another excellent reason to get Expert at Recognizing and Surrendering into Ego Death now while it’s a lot Easier than it will be then. The last time Uranus was in Gemini was 1943-1949. Folks who Survived WWII were forced to Start Over in a Culture that they had to Create themselves from scratch. If we can Trust the Process and our Support and get Excited about this Opportunity, 2027-2033 will be Fantastic.

• At the End of Time as We Knew It, Neptune was just leaving Aquarius and moving into Pisces. Neptune (Material Confusion but Spiritual Clarity) Loves Pisces. Anyone else think your Culture’s gotten more Confused since 2012? Or more Confusing? Obviously, lots of folks have gotten a lot more Certain than Confused. Hope they Enjoy themselves while they can – the only Certain Future for Certainty is Martyrdom.

• When I was Learning that Confusion is the First Sign of Growth, I Discovered that whenever I Felt Confused, I automatically switched to Anger. I assume that many of the Abusive people that crawl the Internet looking for Opportunities to Act Out the Big-Ego Bullying that they learned from TV, or drive about looking for an excuse to shoot somebody (like they learned from TV), are also using Anger as Cover for their Ego’s lack of Experience with Confusion, as they find Scapegoats for their Childhood and Karmic Powerlessness.

• Neptune gets to Aries in 2026, as Uranus enters Gemini. The Ego’s hardest job in Aries lies in dealing with the Culture’s Insistence that one Explain Oneself. The only way Aries can do that, is to make something up, because most of what Aries Does is more nD than its Actor or its Inquisitors. So in addition to becoming Expert at Ego Death over the next three years, we want to be sure that by then we’re very good at Embracing Confusion as the Sign that we need to Shut Up and Listen, and that we need to drop our Old Stories and Open to New Metaphors. And Realize that Reality, which has so many more Dimensions than we do, is Way Over Our Heads. From our Perspective, Metaphor Is All There Is.

• By the time Uranus is firmly in Gemini and Neptune firmly in Aries, Pluto will be entering the Aries Segment or Duad (a Duad is 2½ Degrees) of Aquarius, so very few people will be able to Explain What’s Going On. We will need to be Thinking Globally, in the sense of Paying Attention to What’s Good for the Planet, and Acting Locally, in the sense of Attending to the Survival of our Community.

The Avarice of Faceplant and Gargoyle may have Killed the Internet and Journalism by then anyway, but we need to start now breaking our Habit of Hanging on Every Word from the For-Profit Minia. Most of the Minia is owned by the Oligarchs, and they want us Scared and Confused so we don’t Feel Empowered to Threaten them.

We don’t want to Exclude the Possibility of Miracles, but barring that, when we Project current trends, the Worldwide Suffering will be too intense and widespread to reasonably comprehend, and our own Community will Require All of our Attention. The more Local we can keep our Attention, the higher the probability we will personally Encounter Miracles.

While we Manifest Surthrival for Ourself, even if it’s totally in Private, it Strengthens the Etheric Template that anyone can use to Create their own Surthrival. There is no Healing without Empathy, but Empathy for Yourself and Your Own Community need to come first. The only thing you can Change is Yourself. You can Pray for whatever you want, but Praying for someone else to Change to your view of how they Should be, even if it’s “for their own good” or “for the good of All,” is contrary to this Planet’s Emphasis on Free Will. Pray for General Conditions that will make your Surthrival Easier. Other people with similar Needs can use the Etheric Template of what you Create for their own Purposes.

Beyond Pluto

Pluto gains its Power over the Universal Realm of the Unconscious because it lies deep within the Unconscious. However, so do a lot of other dwarf planets that have been Discovered since Pluto was. Each one is associated with a Segment of the Monolithic Unconscious that Pluto Represents. When a dwarf planet’s orbit is fairly well understood, it’s assigned a Minor Planet Number. Of the more than 3,000 dwarf planets beyond Neptune that have been found so far, 900 have received numbers. So we depend less on Pluto than we used to, though it’s still very useful as an Overview of the Weltanschauung.

The 1-2 May Station of Pluto (Emphasis on our Compulsions) occurs at 10:08 am PDT 1st, 6:08 pm BST 1st, IST 10:38 pm 1st, AEST 3:08 am 2nd, in 1 Aquarius, Intense Idenification with Both Sides of an Argument, One Conscious the Other Less So; Resolution Depends on the Demise of Judgment, adjacent to the Fixed Star Altair, Bold but not Selfish Action.

The Pluto Station chart is otherwise pretty Benign. The only real Challenge (a Naked Square) – the Argument in the Chandra Symbol – is between Our Fear that Hupers Won’t Learn Enough in Time to Prevent a Repeat of Atlantis (Sedna-Juno-Atlantis Stellium) and Our Need and Willingness to Seek Divine Help in Taking Full Ownership of Our Karma (Magdaena-Damocles-Karma Stellium). These both being Stellia, they represent Mini-Enlightenments and therefore could represent the Integration and Healing of such Fear and such Need/Willingness. Interesting Combination.

The Pluto Station itself, part of a Grand Cross (Sequence of Relatively Minor Hassles that Resolve One Another eventually, especially if we can Avoid 2D Intervention) is Merged with Prevarication (asteroid Pinocchio) – interesting in the context of the Fox-Dominion and Trump-Rape Victim trials, not to mention the general Shitstorm of Rightwing Conspiracies and Imaginative Paranoid Metaphors.¹

Hylonome (Codependence and Self-Sovereignty), which itself is Stationary (Strong) 27-28 April (PDT 5:40 pm 27th, BST 1:40 am 28th, IST 6:10 am 28th, AEST 10:40 am 28th) in 26 Capricorn (Confusing Assignment to Camouflage Ourself as Fitting into Muggle Culture while Hiding the Eternal Flame Inside, while being only Dimly Aware of the Purpose of our Assignment), is also a member of this Pluto-Pinocchio-Hylonome Stellium. The Hylonome (Bowing to Social Expectations on the Outside) and Pinocchio (A Charade) Explain one another’s presence in the Pluto Stellium and Explain the 26-Capricorn Chandra Symbol – we’re all Pretending to be Normal while Being Radical as Hell Inside!²

In the Hylonome Station chart itself, a Fully Self-Resolving Major Challenge shuttles Tension and Attention to Our Recollection of the Fall of Atlantis from an Argument between what seems to be the Outragousness of our Karma, and Our Enlightenment. Meanwhile, in both charts, the Crux of our astroevent, Our Muggle Charade, Enjoys Dumb-Luck Grace (Grand Trine) with Our Recollection of the Fall of Atlantis and with Emphasis on Sustainability.³

If your Self-Sabotaging Habits are Sticky, try Soothing yourself with Blue Calcite, either Vicariously by Gazing at the picture, or picking up a Tumbled Stone or two at your local Rockshop. Calcite is Calcium Carbonite, like your bones, teeth, and the shell of the Crab you ate last night, even if it wasn’t a Blue Crab. It’s more often “Massive” (like Granite) than Crystalline (like Quartz), but you might find some poorly formed or partial Crystals.

Not So Phew! 3

Well, so far I’ve been nabbed by the Moon-Chiron¹ (Emotional Discouragement and Miracles) in the 9 October 2022 Full Moon chart, and Chariklo² (Self-Confidence and Self-Doubt, Stationary 14 October). After several hours of indulging My Thoughts about My Feelings, I checked the Full Moon chart and Poor-Sweethearted myself (a Chiron antidote) – so much for Discouragement. And after several hours of Self-Doubt I Remembered that Chariklo was Stationary (Lit Up), and just Let It Go. Poof! Still often checking in on Feelings of Isolation and Lack of Achievement, which we can chalk up to Ascension Symptoms (Changing our Community to match our Changes of Frequency) and the complicated Grand Cross (an Eventually Self-Resolving Series of “Small” Hassles) in the Chariklo Station chart,³ which Lights Up a prominent T-Square in my natal chart (Major Lifetime Challenge and SuperPower).

Oh, and then there are the “Hot Flashes” and the Sneezing, more Ascension Symptoms that we can attribute to EMF Toxicity. It’s obvious from the time Correspondences that adjusting our Epigenetic Responses to 5G, while hopefully dodging the Virus that the EMF enables, is part of our Evolution into 5D.⁴ When the Body gets involved with ongoing Happenstance, I always Wonder what dwarf planet Varuna (The Life Force) is up to. Sure ’nuff, She Opposes (Debates With) the Chariklo Station from early Leo! ⁵ What’s in early Leo in my natal chart? Not much. Just my North Node and my Out of Bounds Pluto.

Now this T-Square lacks only one leg of a Finger of the Goddess to become Self-Resolving – it has a Vacancy in early Gemini. What planets are in early Gemini in your own natal chart? Emphasizing that planet in your Life over the next week (while the Full Moon Energy is still prominent in the Ambient Airwaves), will make your Transmutation into Enlightenment Easier. It may also Trigger Mirrors for the Karma you need to Let Go Of to get there. If it does, remember that Karma is a Paper Tiger – it’s Your Reaction to the Paper Tiger that Triggers your Karma, not the Tiger. Brautigan’s In Watermelon Sugar is a fabulous Drama about being Existentially Neutral to Paper Tigers (see Bibliography).

However, this is all astrological Analysis. We just demonstrated to ourself, with a Sample Size of One, that Our Intuition outwits our Analysis by 30%. Can we Trust astrological Analysis? Well, over the last five decades plus it’s helped me immensely to Stay Neutral to my own Paper Tigers.

Those are our four Hassles (T-Squares) in the Full Moon Grand Cross. If they follow our prognostication, then over the next few weeks we might see each T-Square Manifesting Relatively “Small” Hassles (Intimacy vs Sovereignty; Sovereignty vs Privacy; Privacy vs Codependence Healing; Codependence Healing vs Intimacy), and each Hassle that we Negotiate with some degree of Success making the other Hassles Easier, AND what we Learn from each Hassle that we Fail to Negotiate Successfully informing (if we’re Open to Learning) our degree of Success with the following Hassles. Scrambled Relationships, basically, an Ascension Symptom.

And unfortunately, in Real Life it’s not nearly so tidy. The four Hassles can be Triggered in any order, even several at once. Nevertheless, the Hassles should Complement one another if we’re able to just Let Them Be, and Observe and Learn without trying to Intervene to Control a Threat to our Ego or a Relationship turning Rancorous. And, there are two other Grand Crosses with four Hassles each of their own, all Lighting up at Unpredictable Moments. It’s a complex movie, a Bergman and a Wachowski and a Kubrick and a Spielberg and a Fellini and a Kurosawa, all edited together, and you need to be in the audience, not on the stage. Sure, take a hand at the puppet strings from time to time, but don’t try to Control the Story Line. The Complexity of a Grand Unx makes a Mystery School look like kindergarten. As they say on Wall Street, It’s not what you Earn, it’s what you Learn.

And a Grand Unx is far from being All Pain. There are also four Grand Trines full of Dumb-Luck Grace, two Grand Sextiles making Relationships almost Effortless (all we have to do is start the conversation), and those twelve Pattern-Bending Unx Angles between any two adjacent Signs, like Pandora Unx South Node (Hope for Healing our Held Emotions) or Saturn Unx Nessus (The Most Important Thing is to Allow our Abuse to Heal by Loving – but Not Indulging – Our Victim to Death ). And six Yin Gates or Mystery Schools. And twelve Fingers of the Goddess, which make all of the twelve T-Squares Self-Resolving.

A “Duad” (funny name, but think of it as falling between a Monad and a Triad) is 2½ Degrees, or one twelfth of a Sign. The first Duad of any Sign doubles the characteristics of the Sign. The second Duad unites the Impact of the Sign with the Impact of the following Sign, till we get to the twelfth Duad, which unites the impact of the Sign with the preceding Sign. Shame and Healing

The Moon is back In Bounds now (less Excitability), till it goes Out of Bounds again (to the South) 4:42 am PDT 3 September 2022. Our next big astroevent should be Feelable already, as Converting Fear to Power (dwarf planet Sedna Stationary) is prominent till at least 11:33 pm 30 August. More about that soon.

Shame is one of, if not The, hardest Emotion to hide, and the hardest to Heal, and it has a prominent role in the 1:17 am PDT 27 August 2022 New Moon. While it may be hard, it’s surrounded astrologically in the New Moon chart by Supportive Friends.¹ The Guardian recently published a timely article about Exploring the Extremes of Shame…

The other Prominence in the New Moon, which influences the next few weeks, is a Doubly Self-Resolving Superpower Transmutation to Enlightenment.² Can you beat that? Since it’s Doubly Self-Resolving, it’ll probably be a serious Challenge only if you have Afflictions to early Scorpio. On the other hand, many folks see Scorpio itself as an Affliction! Seen from Inside (from a Scorpio’s Perspective), Scorpio just means Fearlessness.

When Scorpio’s doing a Fearless and Searching Inventory of you, however, it can be a serious affront to your Boundaries. So folks with Vulnerable planets like Sappho (Self-Love) or an Afflicted Eurydike (Distrust ), or even Phaedra (Shame), in early Scorpio may be targets for Perp Instincts. If they Attack you, hold up your Garlic and Cross, keep your Head Up, and Back Away without losing eye contact, like you would from a snarling Dog. With a drooling Person, though, don’t look them directly in the eye, but keep a Diffuse gaze on their face, in case they lunge and you need to use your Cross as a Sword. People with Perp Instincts, even Strangers, can Attack without provocation or warning, so keep your Garlic handy.

Better yet, Protect yourself. While Vulnerability is the Ultimate in Protection, you may need something more Disinviting with Perpetual Perps, because they’ll Test your Vulnerability repeatedly until you Stand Up for Yourself. Today’s Perp may be one you know well Personally, or a Total Stranger that through their own Programming knows Instinctively where your Psychic Wound is, and How it Works. You could be just passing each other on the street. My First Teacher used to say, No One Can Invade Your Space When It’s Filled with Your Own Energy. If you know how to do it, “Running Your Energy” is an Important practice,³ as is “Using your Mirrors.”⁴

If you aren’t sure of the Source, make a Guess and Test it by Holding the Mirror for several minutes to see if your Feelings Change. If they don’t, Guess and Test again. When they do, Hold the Mirror there till you Feel Safe. Your current Boss may be using the same Ports that your Uncle installed when you were a Child.
• This is not just a Protection, this is a Healing. Our Programmers left Holes in the Back of our Aura, where we couldn’t see them, so they could reach in Energetically and Manipulate us like a Puppet. Our Boundaries and Ego are Overwhelmed when a Perp Intuits these Ports and uses them for their own Purposes. This is Karmic, and the more you Allow yourself to be Manipulated, the more you Cement the Karma in place. The more you “Use your Mirrors,” the more you Strengthen New Habits and the more you Weaken the Old Karma. Eventually, Using your Mirrors will Seal Up the Holes in your Aura, so you can really Fill Your Body with Your Own Energy, without Leaks. Then you will seldom Encounter Energy you don’t like, because you’ll no longer be a Magnet for it. If you do Feel it again after that, just Use your Mirrors on it.
• We were Programmed to Feel Guilty when we Discovered these Holes and tried to Plug them. So we have to Expect to Feel Guilt when we Use our Mirrors. That’s the sign that you’re Healing your Energy Body. Embrace the Guilt, and Recognize that it Identifies what needs Healing and what’s Getting Healed. That Guilt is the Proof that you’re Catching the Embodiment or Generalization of “your” Perp In The Act, and Setting Firm Boundaries Against their Manipulation. As your Psychic Wounds Heal, you’ll Feel less Guilt, till you Feel Strong and Whole instead.
• Our Codependence is often based on Holes in our Aura which aren’t Odious to us. We may have been Programmed to Keep Our House Clean, or to be Morally Outraged by certain Characteristics or Behaviors of other people. We may even base our Relationships on having our Programs Matched. Even though you may have very well-developed Justifications for these Obsessions and Reactions to Other People, they’ll still Stand Between you and Enlightenment. When you Begin to Notice these Codependencies and are Inspired to Work on them, you can also Use your Mirrors on them.

Samhain

Enjoy the relative break this week (there are no Stations¹), as it gets busier in November.² By the end of the week though, we’re likely to be struggling with “Decisions” about our Fate – as if Fate and Decision belong in the same sentence.³ They do, actually, as the Path to Leaving Fate Behind lies through Consciousness. Since our Anal-ytical Mind doesn’t have the Key to the Gates of the Unconscious, we have to Invite our Intuitive Mind (with a PIAVA or several) if we want to bring our Fate into our Consciousness, where we can Replace it with Choice. So we can at least make the Decision to PIAVA Exploration of the Underwhere – that’s pretty much what Samhain’s about anyway.

• ¹ As regular readers know, for our Interpretations we rely mostly on the Planetary Stations – when planets Stand Still in the Sky. The planets don’t Stand Still like a Hummer or a Kestrel Hovering. Since the Earth spins at about a thousand miles per hour at its surface, the “Stars” are always moving. So the only way we can tell that a planet is “Standing Still” is by taking a snapshot of it at the same time every night, to see if it’s moving relative to the stable background Stars. The influence of a planet is Strongest when it Stands Still. The fact that, at the Equator, the surface of the Earth travels at a thousand miles an hour in the Round-Earth Metaphor, yet we can stand up without getting knocked down or blown off, should be strong evidence for an Alternate Metaphor.

But this isn’t our first time Carving the Turkey, as Gonggong and Nessus have been traveling together and Stationing together for several years already, and their cross-contamination is actually declining. If you can talk yourself into “That Was Then, This Is Now,” and realize that what was happening then was Abuse while what’s happening now is Emotion, that might help.

Any Compulsive Self-Doubt we have may be Lit Up pretty Brightly. This will ultimately be very Healing, but in the interim we’ll likely have to Endure some pretty serious Secret Revelations and Ego Rebirth, turning our Life around completely.⁴

And there may be more Zombies than usual among the Trick-or-Treaters this Halloween.⁵ Again, like usual, it’s Ego Death we worry about, and it’s seldom Fatal, except to your old Limited Ego.

• ⁴ A Pluto-Chariklo Conjunction (Compulsive Insecurity – or Narcissism) in Capricorn (Pragmatism) makes a serious Challenge (T_Square) to a Competition (Opposition) between Previously Hidden Deep Truths (Aletheia/Truth of the Heart Conjunct Eris/Revelation of What’s Been Denied, behind the Full Moon in Aries) and a Very Confusing and Complicated Rebirth (Haumea/Rebirth Conjunct asteroids Pandora/Travails and Hope and Atlantis/Technological Self-Destruction, behind the Sun). One could have a Field Day translating that into US Politics, but I won’t. Or the Drama-of-the-Week at Facebook (recently renamed Faceplant).

We’ll likely Enjoy Life more if we Remember that we very rarely actually physically Die, but that our Ego Molts often, and that usually feels like we’re Fixin’ to Die.

New Project Week II

As we move into our New Self (asteroid Klotho Stationary 4:30 am PDT 7 June 2021 in 18 Libra), it will behoove us to Attend to our Relationships with Abuse and with Privilege (dwarf planet Nessus Stationary 9:24 am PDT 14 June in 16 Pisces). Though it’s only one of many Challenges that will Confront our Newbie shortly after our Rebirth, Unconscious and Conscious Changes in our Relationship with Abuse and Privilege is probably the biggest one. The intervening Challenges…

• Emotional Intensity (Moon moving Out of Bounds for four days starting 10:57 pm PDT 9 June in 18 Gemini). This hits a peak on 11 June (Moon Stationary in North Declination 25:39 and Longitude 11 Cancer at 9:08 pm PDT), and fades on 13 June (Moon moving back In Bounds at 6:19 pm PDT in 4 Leo).

• Ego Death(s) Required to Let Go of Karma (asteroid Karma moves into Virgo 2:34 pm 9 June). If you have a Journal, Karma was previously in the Sign of Ego Death (Virgo) between 1 December 2020 and 23 January 2021), before it backed back into Leo till 2 April. It’s been moving forward in its third Dance over the last five Duads (2½ Degrees) of Leo since then. This deserves a post of its own.

💥 For now we’ll just say that Virgo is what happens between the Cyclic Culmination of our Individual Identity (Leo) and Meeting Not-Us or Other (Libra). Just as Pisces is about Letting Go of Emotional Baggage so we don’t have to drag it with us into our next Adventure, Virgo is about Letting Go of Obsolete Identities so we don’t mess up our Relationships with Others by “Pretending” (usually Unconsciously) to be someone we ain’t. “Others” includes not just People, but since Everything in the Universe is Conscious, it also includes Everything that we aren’t Being or Owning in the Moment. For example, if you Identify with Loving Nature, prove it to yourself by Inviting a Bird to perch on your finger, without pooping on your hand or giving you Salmonella.

💥 We also need to say that our most troubling Karma is where We Would Rather Die than Feel That Again, aka our “Held Emotions” (South Node). Because most Hupers Believe that we’re Once-Born or Twice-Born, we misinterpret “I’d Rather Die Than Feel That” as “I’d Rather Die Than Feel That,” while it’s really “I’d Rather Die Than Feel That” – Ego Death. We’re just sawing through one of the legs of the three-legged stool we usually sit on. If we Want to minimize Pain, we’d stand up before we did that. But if you know what it means to Go Without an Identity (ie, stepping out of your Identity) for a few minutes, I’d love to know. The Emotion of Confusion is the closest we can come, and we regard Confusion as one of the best Emotions because it’s the Doorway to Evolution. We usually try to suppress it by Figuring Out What’s “Wrong,“ which is one of our most Self-Destructive Habits.

• Illuminations about the State of our Planet and the Likelihood of our Survival if we continue on our Current Trajectory (Annular Eclipse of the Sun 3:52 am PDT 10 June in 20 Gemini [Sabian Symbol “A modern cafeteria displays an abundance of food, products of various regions“], primarily impacting the several weeks following it). It will be visible if you happen to be crossing the North Pole (bring a Boat, that’s cold Water). An Annular Eclipse is one where the moon is far enough from the Earth that it doesn’t quite appear to cover the face of the Sun – an Almost-Total Eclipse. Consciousness Grows by Discovery, not by Invention, and under Eclipses we Discover what’s now missing, that we hadn’t noticed previously. For more details, see https://svs.gsfc.nasa.gov/4910.

• An Increase in Selfishness (Mars enters Leo 6:33 am PDT 11 June). Which is not always a Negative thing. We can’t Love Other Fully until we Love Ourself Fully. Given our Illuminations about the State of the Planet and its Huper inhabitants, though, the Greedheads will probably be making another Power Grab. If we Pray enough for it, they might Betray their Heartlessness and be met with Rotten Tomatoes, or better yet new laws about, say, voting, taxing, and legal theft, and new Cultural Norms about Worshiping Wealth. The few Greedheads who aren’t Sociopaths might even have Epiphanies about their own antisocial Greed. Mars will stay in Leo till the end of July.

While we usually just dwell on the Back-of-Hand/Palm dynamics of Abuse and Privilege, we should actually look at the Pros and Cons of each. For instance, having Privilege can make so many things so much Easier. Rather than Gloating about our supposed Superiority as the source of our Privilege, or arming ourself to the hilt to keep the Rabble from “stealing” back what we’ve stolen from them, or Resisting Privilege because we’re Conscious of the Abuse that results and Guilty about it, we might instead find our Gratitude for our Privilege. In 5D where Collaboration outduels Competition, we’ll no long be in a Zero-Sum World, but back in a Natural World where the Sum is Much Greater than its Parts. From a place of Gratitude for our historical Privilege we may be able to Share it or Teach Others how to Enjoy it without creating more Abuse – not like the Missionaries that enabled the Conquistadors, however. How would we avoid that?

As for Abuse, until enough people Unite against the Psychopaths and Sociopaths and Missionaries (which will require that we no longer Worship Wealth and Greed) and enforce a meaningful Equality, the most positive feature I can envision for Abuse, is for it to Inspire us to Delete our Abuse Karma. History of course was written by the Abusers, who were by and large proud of their Conquists, so the Horrors of our Karmic History may be Exaggerated by their Pride, though I’m not naive enough about the Cruelty and Sadism of our Species, or the extreme Privilege of the Abusers, to Believe that any such Exaggeration has been more than slight.

“Trust but Verify” is good advice. During the 1980s, when Pluto was in Scorpio and Recovery was all the rage, I Learned to Ask, “What color is the wallpaper?” to remind myself that most PTSD episodes are Flashbacks and not Present-Moment. The Jungle “wallpaper” of Vietnam, and the Bare Metal “wallpaper” of the Ships, contrasts with even unadorned wallboard, so we could distinguish hallucinations from real napalm, torture, anal probes, and implants. Grounding is always a helpmate (running an imaginary cable from the base of your spine to the center of the Earth), Eating, and Orgasm are reliable Grounders.

Mirrors are always useful, especially when you’re trying to Heal Feelings that aren’t yours, which is not possible. Mirrors are even useful as a first response – when you’re Feeling awful without obvious Triggers, take the first person who comes to mind, and for five to ten seconds hold a wardrobe Mirror between you and them, facing them. If your Feelings become more acceptable, you know you’re trying to run their Emotions through your Body – or, they’re Manipulating you. If you’re being Manipulated, even with the best Intentions, it’s never fun. Most folks are totally Unconscious that they’re Manipulating. Mirrors are a good strategy for dealing with Climate Deniers, Mask Objectors, Gun Freaks, folks who want to Deny your Vote and Control your Body, and other Antichrist Lovers. You won’t need to get into a hopeless morass of Conversation with them, and if you position your Mirror so it Reflects their Energy back at them, they’ll get a bit of their own toxic “Medicine.”

The Big Advantage of using “Then versus Now” tricks, Grounding, and Mirrors, is that they’re Habit-forming. When we’re Vulnerable to Manipulation by Other People’s Energy, it’s because our Programmers “Intentionally” (though probably Unconsciously) carved a Hole in the back of our Aura, so they could reach in and pull our strings whenever they wanted or needed to. It often looks and feels like Shaming. Habitual Manipulators “see” those Holes, usually Unconsciously, so we can be Manipulated by strangers we pass on the street. Our Programmers just thought it was good parenting, and you may do it yourself when your own kids threaten to drive you Batty. As these “tricks” become a Habit, the hole in our Aura actually Seals Up, so not only do the “tricks” become second-nature, they also Heal the Source of our Dis-Ease. When our Will is Healthily Self-Serving, Habitual Manipulators pass us by without a second glance, because we’re useless as an Object for their Power Games.

Issues such as these may Confront our Experiential Infant this coming week. It never hurts to recall that we’re actually an Eternal Energy Nexus (often called an “Immortal Soul”) borrowing a Material Body. Energy can never be Destroyed, only Transformed. Revelation of Denial (dwarf planet Eris) remains Out of Bounds through all of this (until 4:12 am PDT 18 July in 20 Cancer), so don’t be Surprised if New Information about your Personal or Karmic History or Herstory comes into your Consciousness during these Adventures. If you’ve noticed that almost everything above occurs in 16-20 Degrees of one Sign or another, you’ll be checking your natal chart to see what will be Lit Up for you, as your own Energy System meshes with the Planet’s.

All of this is Important, because as we get past the 14 June Exaggeration of Abuse and Privilege (Nessus Station), we drop into a week of very Intense Manifestation Energy, as three Big Energies are simultaneously Emphasized. When Energies Conjoin in Time, it’s as if they’re Conjoining in Longitude – and these Big Fellas are also actually in neighboring Degrees of their respective Signs. The three Energies are Manifestation Itself (dwarf planet Makemake Stationary 6:42 pm PDT 19 June in 6 Libra), Expansion (Jupiter Stationary 8:04 am PDT 20 June in 3 Pisces, and The Opportunity to Jettison Karma Early (asteroid Lachesis Stationary 2:42 pm PDT 20 June in 6 Scorpio).

If as is the case hereabouts, you’re Wondering why the Foundations of your Personal Infrastructure seems to be Falling Apart, each Failure is a Big Clue about the Unconscious Energies “you” are running but not Owning, that Block what you’re trying to Manifest. Take time to Sit with each Failure of Intention or Function, and Merge with it Energetically. The Objective is to Meet each of your Unconscious Blocks as Energy Clusters in the Unconscious, Meet them in Neutral territory without Bias or Judgment on your part, and with an Open Mind Ask the Question, “Is this Energy really My Own, but I’ve been Denying it?”

Warmup for the Digital Age 2

Sheila asks, “So does the Age of Aquarius start Monday?”

The answer is, “Kinda sorta.” The Digital Age lasts about 2 Centuries, while the Age of Aquarius spans more than 21 Centuries. It’s a lot harder to pinpoint a Threshold for a 21-Century Cycle than a 2-Century one. We’re using the term “Digital Age” to apply to a time period very specifically bounded by astrology, and we’re labeling it based on Huper History and Herstory.

The Age of Aquarius is astronomically bounded. We know how long the Ages are (given certain assumptions), but if we have a firm date for when the current 25,920-year Great Year began, I don’t know what it is. I know there’s a lot of disagreement and many estimates, which vary by Millennia. It’s okay with me if you consider the Aquarian Age to begin on Monday. We could also choose the beginning of the 21st Century, or the first performance of Hair.

If I was going to research a firm date on an unlimited budget, I’d have AI review all of the World’s news media for the last many years, and score all news reports on whether they emphasized Intellectual Issues (Aquarius) more than they emphasized Emotional Issues (Pisces), examine the results by daily average to see if they described a smooth curve, and if so choose the year when Intellectual Issues first dominated. If they didn’t describe a smooth curve, I’d look for modes (clusters of similar data), and if none emerged, I’d say it was N/A.

Aquarius is Fixed Air, so it’s not just more Intellectual, it’s also more Opinionated. The 1/1/2000 chart foresaged Polarization, which has been the case in spades, as folks Confuse their Immutable Truth of the Heart (asteroid Aletheia) with their Debatable Truth of the Head (asteroid Veritas) and get sucked into Life-or-Death Ego-Association with Ideas, forgetting that everyone’s Truth of the Heart is Unique, and everyone is a Front for an Immortal Soul, so Killing them will only prolong the Agony of Ego-Association. Pity that the greatest Joy some Hupers seem to savor is Self-Righteousness.

However, these Polarized Opinions are all heavily Emotionalized, so I’d have to suppose that we’re still in a Transition period of indeterminate length. If the Digital Age produces a Lie Detector that gives binary answers that everyone Trusts, then, Perish the Thought, we might be able to definitively declare Aquarius to have arrived, though we’d have to rename it the Age of ‘Bots. We may have to anyway, if Ray Kurzweil has it right.

While we refer to it as Truth of the Head, our Intellectual Truths are really Truth of the Solar Plexus, because that’s where Thought is actually Centered. Small wonder that Thought is Confused with Anger, Judgment, and Hatred. Blame Descartes and Newton and everyone else who Believes that Thought can be dissected out of the Whole and become anything except a small bloody chunk of a Corpse, or a dead Butterfly impaled on a pin. You won’t be far off to envision an Argument as two people plucking out their giblets and throwing them at each other.

Sign Changes

Last time we mentioned that a number of planets Change Signs as the ~Aquarian Digital Age begins…

Asteroid Lachesis is named after the Greek Goddess of Fate whose job it was to Measure the Length of your Karmic TimeLines. Each Karmic Habit you brought into your current Lifetime came with an Expiry Date. Well, we know that Karma is Dead, so how does that work? If we’re Unconscious of a Karmic Pattern, it defaults to our Fate.

Once we become Conscious that we’re Repeating an Obsolete Habit that doesn’t really serve us in our current Lifetime, then we can Choose an Alternative rather than continuing to “beat that Dead Horse” all over again. Since we’re Addicted to our Karma because it’s What We Know and what we’re Comfortable with, we’d have some Inertia to overcome, but again, with Awareness and Motivation we can do that.

So we give ourselves the Benefit of Consciousness and interpret Lachesis as Consciously Choosing to Shift our TimeLines, where a TimeLine is anything that unfolds in Time – a Habit, a Job, a Relationship, a Trip, a Nap, a Residence, or a Jail Term. Lachesis is a kind of Get Out of Jail Free card, if you’ve ever played Monopoly.

Asteroid Atropos is the Goddess who actually Cuts the Lachesian Chords. So Atropos is about TimeLines that end on their own, without our Conscious intervention. Maybe. Karma is addictive, so we can sleep through an Atroposian alarm. We’d probably eventually wonder why in the devil we did that and Choose to shift the Momentum.

On 15 December 2020 (2:40 pm PST), Lachesis moved from Libra (Meeting Other) to Scorpio (Getting to the Bottom of Things). It was in Libra for only three months, but it’ll stay in Scorpio for almost a year, as it does Remediation (Retrogradation) next Spring. So you’ve been Inconvenienced in your Relationships with Others for the last several months.

You’ve probably been Blaming it on the Custardovirus, or on dastardly abrogations of your precious FREEDOM to not have to wear a Mask, but in Scorpio you’ll be searching everywhere for what it was that got you so upset, especially if you inadvertently kill somebody with your callousness. We hide our True Feelings every day, yet we object to wearing a physical Mask? Maybe it’s because a Mask inhibits our Ability to Manipulate others with disingenuous facial Expressions. No Accusation, just a Speculation or even a Projection – what’s True for you is for you to Discover through your Scorpionic Deep Dives next year.

Asteroid Juno (Growth in Consciousness) left Scorpio for Sagittarius on 18 December (9:20 am PST), which should make our Lessons Feel a lot Easier. Juno’s timetable is similar to that of Lachesis – it was in its prior Sign (Scorpio) for only about three months, but it stays in its new Sign (Sagittarius) for most of 2021, with Remedial work (Retrogradation) during the summer.

I’d guess we’ve been clawing at our scabs for the last several months while Juno was in Scorpio, to try to Expose as many Limiting Beliefs as we could find, so we could carry less Baggage into a Digital Age where who knows how much of Life might become Virtual. Much of our Life is already Lived through Fantasy anyway. Sagittarius is Mutable (Changeable, as in Mutation) Fire (Spirit), so it’s the Sign where we Let Go of what we no longer need for protecting our Material Ego from Scarcity.

And of course Saturn (The Most Important Thing) on 16 December at 9am PST, and Jupiter (Expansion) on 19 December at 5am PST, waved adieu to Pragmatic Just-Fix-It Capricorn and moved into Idealistic NoNotThatWay-ThisIsHowToFixIt Aquarius. It’s Catty of me I know, but I imagine Aquarians sitting in a bar arguing about how to Fix Society. We have the poster child for Fixed Air (Rigid Ideology) in the US Congress.

To be Honest, we have to wonder what planets have been in Aquarius for the last while already, as Congress has been unable to Negotiate with itself at least since the Tea Party came ashore, if not since Newt crawled out from under his rock. Asteroid Aletheia (The Heart’s Truth) has been in Aquarius since April 2020, which makes sense relative to the closure of the Federal purse since the March CARIES Act. Asteroid Pallas (Boundaries) has been in Aquarius since Indigenous Peoples’ Day, 7 December, and will be till April 2021.

But actually, if Hupers Learn to differentiate their Heart-Truth from their SolarPlexus-Truth and find the nanobit of Awareness and Empathy necessary to look in the Mirror and see how Upset they get when someone else Forces foreign Beliefs on them, and then Realize how Odious it must be for them to Force their Beliefs on Others (Duh!), they might Loosen Up a bit. Pour me another before closing time, ok? – an Aquarian anal-ysis if there ever was one. Aquarius is completely capable of figuring this out, it’s just my cynicism about Huperity that Limits my Optimism.

I get it, that’s my Karmic Pattern that, if I don’t look in the Mirror, will lock me into a Future of Competition to the Death. I’ll have to turn it around, so I can Manifest a Future of Peace and Collaboration and let the rest of the Hupers Manifest whatever they want in their own back yards. You know the First Law of Manifestation, Whosoever Farts in Church, sits in their own Pew. Or is that the Law of Karma. Can’t be, that one’s been Repealed.

Saturn averages two and a half years in each Sign, and Jupiter one year. Saturn in Aquarius should Teach us that The Most Important Thing is to Avoid Taking our Metaphors Literally. That’s the definition of Fundamentalism, and it applies to just about everybody, including us if we don’t constantly Let Go of our Natural tendency to want to have Burnt Umber clearly differentiated from Beige (Black and White are no longer PC).

What’s difficult to remember is that It’s All Metaphor. Even with our Best Multidimensional Intuition and our Most Outrageous Channelings, we Perceive such a tiny sliver of Reality, that while our Heart’s Truth defines Our Own Values, it doesn’t have anything to say about the Nature of Reality. Our Solar Plexus-Truth is even less descriptive, even though it’s Useful for helping us find Food and Shelter.

Saturn’s last sojourn in Aquarius was 1990-1993. Remember Daddy-Bush’s First Gulf War? Collapse of the USSR? The End of Apartheid? The first breath of the World Wide Web?

Jupiter in Aquarius can lead us to Tolerate, and even Embrace, Cognitive Dissonance, the Practice of being able to hold Contradictory Beliefs in mind, as equally Valid, at the same time. Huper Mind Perceives Duality, Either/Or, while Reality is Unitary and Multifarious, or Both/And. If we Allow our Thinking to Define our Concepts about Reality, we’ll never escape Judgment, and Love Dissolves when Judgment Replaces Curiosity.

We don’t get to 5D without Unconditional Self-Love, so Embracing Cognitive Dissonance is a Critical Skill. Every Perspective contains valuable information (even Mask Denial), so we can’t afford to Reject any of them, even though we probably want to rank them in order of their Utility.

Jupiter last visited Aquarius in 2008-2009. Hard to believe that was a dozen years ago. We had the H1N1 Swine Flu. Obama took over to sweep up the shards of the US Economy after the Derivative Crisis, often misnamed the Housing Crisis. Sully landed in the Hudson. And Bitcoin took its first breath.

Easy to forget in Light of the Jupiter-Saturn “Christmas Star,” but of course the Sun moves out of Sagittarius and into Capricorn at 2:05 am PST on 21 December. Our Perception of our own Essence should become less Scattered and more Pragmatic. That’ll be welcome.

Dwarf planet Ixion (Forbidden or Hidden Unique Genius) sticks its toe back into Capricorn on 27 December (1:20 am PST), for the second of three times as it stutters it’s way out of Sagittarius. It enters Capricorn “for good” (till next time, 250 years hence) in November 2021. We’ve hopefully used its 15-year passage through Sagittarius to Let Go Of our Inhibitions on Allowing it to Exist and Bloom, so we can use its 19-year trip through Capricorn Putting It To Work Healing the Planet, or at least building a very large Ark.

Cusps are tricky. Planets that are four Signs apart (Trine, Dumb-Luck Grace) get on well with one another because they share the same element – Water to Water and Fire to Fire. Planets that are three Signs apart (Square, Challenge) create Stress because they don’t share the same element – Air to Earth or Water to Fire. But look at these Cuspy Angles in the Saturn-Jupiter Initiation chart above…

Sedna to Karma is three Signs (with a little slop) so it should be Difficult, yet it’s Earth to Earth (Taurus to Virgo), which should make it Easier.

Moon to Juno is four Signs so it should be Easy, yet it’s Water to Fire (Pisces to Sagittarius), which should be more Difficult.

Some of each, perhaps? Both/And? An Opportunity to Practice our Cognitive Dissonance? Maybe a completely new kind of Relationship, neither Easy nor Difficult, but Orthogonal to that Dimension? A Paradox?

Self-Love New Moon 6

Today (18 November 2020) we’re past the Peak of our Trust Issues (Station of asteroid Eurydike in 1 Leo at 1pm PST today) and already deep into the “reverie” of our Exaggerated possibly-Traumatic Obtrusive Memories (Station [Exaggeration] of dwarf planet Gonggong [Intrusive Memories] in 4 Pisces at 8pm PST on 20 November and Station of dwarf planet Nessus [Abuse and Privilege] in 11 Pisces at 9:30 pm PST on 22 November).

However, the Moon returns In-Bounds at 12:22 pm PST tomorrow, so we may be less Reactive after that.

And tomorrow (19 November 2020, 3:40 pm PST), asteroid Moira, which is about Fate or Karma versus Choice, leaves Sagittarius and moves into Capricorn. Sagittarius means The Way Out Is Letting Go and Capricorn Just Fix It! so we’re about to find out which Karmas we’ve Let Go Of. Remember this whenever you get a Whiff of Trepidation that Unpleasantries may be turning into your driveway. Karma is Inertia, the Force of established Habit, and Fate is what happens to us when we’re Unconscious of our Karma.

The first Whiff of a situation similar to past Unpleasantness Triggers our Expectations of repeating Karma, and nothing predicts the Future better than Expectations. If we don’t Recognize the Whiff and Tap It Out, we could Easily Manifest the Repetition. Every time we fall Victim to one of these Karmic Trances, we Strengthen the Karma. Every time we Recognize the dog whistle and Choose an Alternative, the Karma weakens. We probably Let Go of many Karmic Trances while Moira was in Sagittarius. But Letting Go of the Trances isn’t enough, we need to also Reprogram our Expectations – which is just what Capricorn is useful for, Fixing things.

We’ve talked about how the 14 November New Moon is about Unconditional Self-Love and how our Impediments to it can Self-Resolve if we maintain our Curiosity about the goings-on. We’ve also talked about how important Trust is to this equation. Even if we Recognize the Whiff, we also have to Trust that Karma is really Dead except for our own Re-Grasping of it because of its familiarity. Otherwise we’ll be under that old tarp in the basement Praying that your Torment got the wrong driveway by mistake, because We’d Rather Die than Live through that again.

Well, now we could be Whiffing our old Abuse Memories, and/or our Guilt about the times when we’ve Abused Privilege (What were we Thinking?!?). Both the Gonggong and the Nessus Stations are in Pisces, which is Intensely Emotional, and deals with Letting Go of Emotional Baggage Once And For All. Which means it’s usually the Worst Kind of Emotional Baggage that Pisces Brings Up, because that’s what we’ve been Saving For Last. So what if anything can we say about how Fearlessly Scraping Out Impediments to Unconditional Self-Love (the Sappho New Moon in Scorpio) and Abuse Flashbacks (Stations of Gonggong and Nessus) Relate?

Sounds like there might be fertile Ground there, doesn’t it. Let’s start with the Cycles – Sun-Gonggong, Sun-Nessus, Moon-Gonggong, and Moon-Nessus. …In the next installment.

Self-Love New Moon 2

In the 14 November 2020 New Moon chart, the planets in the “Basket of Grace” (blue upside-down Truss Bridge) under the red triangle are an interesting pair. They tell us How the Nasty Challenge (T-Square red triangle) will Self-Resolve. First there’s dwarf planet Eris, which is about Revelation of What’s Been Denied, and second there’s dwarf planet Asbolus, meaning Intuition, Merged With (Conjunct) the North Node, which indicates our Lifetime Mission.

Our Life Mission is way too multidimensional for the Dualistic Mind to be able to do more than get an occasional glimpse of it from one angle, so if our Life Mission were an Elephant, we’d be the seven Blind Men trying to figure out what it is. Our Intuition, though, is able to handle many more Dimensions, as long as we don’t constantly Diminish it by squeezing it into Words. So our Intuition has been giving us Videos of our Life Mission in the form of Skits from our Childhood and Past Lives (Eris).

Asbolus and the North Node are three and a half Degrees apart and separating, so the Connection is weakening, but both of them are well within three Degrees of the New Moon, so they’re Reconnected and Re-Energized by the New Moon. (Three Degrees is the Limit of Connection that we use in this blog; it and one Degree are the most common Limits of Connection that astrologers use. The less Difference between the Locations, the Stronger the Connection.) The Asbolus-North Node Connection was Exact at the end of August, within one Degree between mid-August and mid-September, and within three Degrees between late July and late September, so we’ve been Experiencing this Connection for a while.

Intuition can be illusive. My Intuition Teacher advised me to Ask myself “What If I Did Know?” and tentatively Believe the Answer I got. Translating an Intuition into Words is like pinning a Butterfly to a block of styrofoam – it might look good, but you’ve just Killed it. So Word Pictures of Intuitions are always tentatively or “…Or Something Like That,” as Eugene Gendlin liked to say. But the point is that the Information is Available. We can try retrieving it with a Theta such as “God/Goddess, Creator of All That Is, I Command that I Grok the Intuitions about my Life Mission that I Received over the Summer (North) or Winter (South) so they will Help Me Let Go of Karmic Impediments to Unconditional Self-Love. It Is Done, It Is Done, It Is Done. Thank You God/Goddess. Show Me!“

In case you haven’t read Heinlein, Grok means “to drink in all available aspects of reality or to become one with the observed,” the multidimensional equivalent of “Understanding,” which is what the Limited Dualistic Mind does. You may or may not Notice any lightbulbs over your head, but it may be better if you don’t, because then you’ll be less Tempted to Wordify it. Just Trust that you’ve Received and Grokked the Download, and that it has Changed you accordingly.

We need this because the next week plus will be Challenging. Our Ability to Trust, and to Grok what’s Trustable so we can Trust it, is Lit Up through 17 November, as asteroid Eurydike, which symbolizes Trust, is increasingly Exaggerated until 1am PST on 18 November. As usual with astrology, that’s for Good or Ill, as our Trust will be Challenged so we can Witness the places where we OverTrust and UnderTrust and Adjust accordingly.

In the New Moon chart asteroid Veritas, the Truth of the Mind, is Merged with Pluto, Compulsion. We may or may not Believe Facts, depending on whether or not they Align with our current Concept Set. For instance, many people Reject the Fact that the Earth is Flat (when seen from the center of a plain, for instance) because they’ve been Hypnotized by “Science” to Believe that it’s Round. It might Look Round from the Moon, but we don’t Live on the Moon. It might Look Curved from an airplane, but there are lots of Curves that aren’t Round. The Dualistic Mind will always Delude you unless you always specify the conditions under which each “Fact” is “True” – and what a Headache that would be.

It’s a lot Easier if we just recognize that like Loki or Coyote, the Mind is a Trickster, simply because it usually thinks in Either/Or, while the Universe is Both/And. “Figures don’t Lie, but Liars sure can Figure,” is a general rule that Statisticians use, if they know what they’re doing. The Truth of the Mind is always Relative to usually-unspecified and often-unknown Assumptions and Conditions, and it’s Dual, so it usually Flips rather than Adjusts. Goddess Knows we’re getting a graduate seminar in Exactly This in our Political Dramas these days. This is Grade-School Bullshit, and we need to see through it so we can instead Focus on The Most Important Thing – Climate Change, as the Dali Lama reminds us. If we don’t, Death by COVID might turn out to be the more Merciful Choice.

In the New Moon chart, Pluto-Veritas (Compulsive Belief in “Facts”) is Challenged (Squared) by Eris, or Revelation of What’s Been Denied. Compulsive Belief in “Facts” is also Contrasted (Opposed) to Respect for All Things (asteroid Hopi) – we will never see Peace and Collaboration and 5D and Sustainability as long as we invest our Trust in Either/Or. Reality is always Both/And.

Besides Compulsive Belief in “Facts” (Pluto-Veritas), Revelation of What’s Been Denied (Eris) and Respect for All Things (Hopi), the fourth corner of the big red square (a “Grand Cross” in astrologuese) in the New Moon chart is The Heart (Venus). It’s the Heart that Groks. The Truth of the Heart is symbolized by asteroid Aletheia. For any given Person, the Truth of the Heart is not Relative like “Facts” are, but Absolute. What we have to Remember about the Heart is that Everyone’s Truth of the Heart is Different. You can, if you’re clever, convince someone to Believe in the “Truth” of your “Facts.” Shame on you, but you can do it.

You’ll never convince anyone to Believe in the Truth of your Heart, if their Heart has a Different Truth. They might pretend to Believe to get you off their back, but our Heart-Truths are Permanent and Inviolable. We Recognize them Intuitively, not Intellectually. Heart-Truths are multidimensional, and suffer Wordification poorly. As long as Hupers fail to Recognize the Difference between Mind-“Facts” and Heart-Truths, and fail to Realize that Everyone’s Heart-Truths are Different, there will never be Peace on the Planet.

How does asteroid Aletheia relate to the New Moon chart? Like so…

That’s a “Grand Quintile,” Grand because it fills the whole chart, and Quintile because it features five planets more or less equally space around the Zodiac. Quintiles are about Teaching and Learning, and a Grand Quintile is about Multidimensional Teaching and Learning. There are twenty-six Relationships we’re being Taught to Grok…

Then the Real Teaching takes center stage, as Intrusive Memories (dwarf planet Gonggong) are Lit Up till 20 November and Abuse and Privilege (dwarf planet Nessus) are Lit Up till 22 November. The Poster Child for Abuse and Privilege is the Antagonist of the Big Political Drama, and it’s our own Intrusive Memories of all of our own Karmic Abuse and Privilege Experiences and Patterns that will be Triggered. How many of us will be able to Differentiate the Present Moment from our Regressions?

And the Mind-Truths of Privilege for the White Supremacists? The Heart-Truths of Privilege for the Narcissists? I doubt that many of them will Know the Difference between Reality and their Projections, but we can always pray for Miracles. There are Intriguing Possibilities in the Angle between the New Moon and each of the three Stations – Eurydike, Gonggong, Nessus. We’ll talk about those in the next post.

Self-Love New Moon

New Moons Suggest the tone and traffic we can expect in the following two to four weeks. The 14 November 2020 (9:06 pm PST) New Moon is Merged with (Conjunct) the symbol for Unconditional Self-Love (asteroid Sappho)…

This is in Scorpio, and Scorpio is about Fearlessness and the Compulsion to Get to the Bottom of Things, so we can Expect to find All of our Impediments to Unconditional Self-Love to be showing up in the next few weeks. Welcome them. They’re Showing Up so you can Bless them and Let them Go. Once and For All, if you’re Willing. Memorize this paragraph, and repeat it to yourself every five minutes for the next several weeks.

Let’s start by Tapping Out our Impediments. “Even though I don’t Allow myself Unconditional Self-Love, I Deeply and Completely Love and Accept Myself ” or some such. What came up while you were doing that? Tap It Out. “Even though I don’t Take Full Responsibility for the way Certain People Irritate Me, I Deeply and Completely Love and Accept Myself,” just to use a random example. By the way, Responsibility is very Different from Blame. Taking Responsibility means you Respond to the circumstance. If you’re good at NVC, you can talk Honestly about your Experience without making anyone Defensive, maybe even working up a Win-Win out of it. Blame is about looking backward to assign Guilt, while Responsibility is about looking forward to Change Outcomes.

Follow up your Tapping with a Theta on the order of “God/Goddess, Creator of All Things, I Command that I henceforth Unconditionally Allow Myself Unconditional Self-Love. It Is Done, It Is Done, It Is Done. Thank You, God/Goddess. Show Me!” Then Tap Out each of your Yes-Buts. Go back and forth between Theta and Tapping as many times as you have Patience for.

There’s a lot to talk about in this chart, and since it’s a Self-Love chart, it Deserves every bit of it. I want to start by talking about asteroid Damocles, the symbol for Preemptive Guilt. Damocles isn’t on our list of usual astrosuspects, but he’s one of my favorites. He was a Leader with a (hopefully) virtual Sword suspended over his head, ready to drop if he made too many enemies, or the “wrong” enemy. Talk about an Editor on our Yintegrity! In the New Moon chart, Damocles Challenges (Squares) our Self-Love! If we’re always on Probation with ourself or our Loved Ones or Significant Others, we preempt our Self-Love before it even starts!

I didn’t write it into the chart because it’s just beyond our usual limit of three Degrees (it’s three and a half Degrees away), but asteroid Karma, signifying you guessed it, sits across the chart from Damocles, so the two of them gang up to make a Nasty Challenge (T-Square, or 90-Degree triangle). So not only are we Fearlessly Scraping the Bottom of the Barrel (Scorpio) looking for Self-Judgment – and you know damn well you’re going to Believe it when it first comes up, before you reread that earlier paragraph you saved – but we’re also Scraping the Bottoms of our Past Lives! Gonna be a Fun several weeks.

Now, bear in mind that the “we” in that sentence about Scorpio isn’t our Ego, it’s our Soul. To the Ego it’s going to feel like Somebody Else is Attacking us and Triggering our worst Vulnerabilities. Till we reread the earlier paragraph and Recognize that this is about Bringing up Ancient Scabbed-Over Buboes so they can finally be Healed. Nightmares! But look more closely. When both a Nasty Challenge T-Square and a Pay Attention! Finger of the Goddess point to the same place, the result is a Self-Resolving Challenge (called a Diamond Star in astrologuese). Whew! So yes, all this Shit’s gonna hit the Fan, but If we can stand to be a Curious Spectator, it’s all going to Heal Itself! Here’s the Diamond Star…

In these charts, red means Stress (the red triangle or T-Square), green means Curiosity (the green wedge or Finger of the Goddess), and blue means Grace (the blue “basket” under the T-Square that completes the Diamond Star) – and means “Happily Ever After” if we can stand to stay in Curiosity while we Watch the Dramas Unfold without getting Anal-ytical or Emotionally Involved. It Is What It Is. Without the Curiosity, we get sucked into the Stress and Discount the Grace.

Love Dies when Judgment Replaces Curiosity.

This isn’t Curiosity as in “Hmmm, how can I fix this now?” It’s Curiosity as in “Look at that Remarkable Thing!” As in Awe and Wonder. Unconditional Self-Love is one of the keys to 5D, so I hope most of us use this Opportunity to Advance our Neutrality. But it also applies to what’s going on in the World. If we can Watch the Spectacle as if Shakespeare wrote it, and admire the Literary talent, the Drama will Self-Resolve and Subside.

That’s your Karma being Acted Out on the World Stage. As with all Karma, the Choice is yours. You can Grasp it because it’s so Familiar, and Strengthen it’s Hold on your Ego-Self. Or you can Let It Go and dare to Choose an Alternative. Meanwhile, we hope to find time to write more about the overall chart, because it’s fascinating.

Emotional Oxymoron

This is a relatively quiet week, compared to recent events. We probably wouldn’t be too far off to call it the Eye of the Hurricane, though I’m not sure that should he singular. The Moon is In Bounds all week, so we may be less Emotional than recently. On 9 November 2020 (6:30 am PST) dwarf planet Ceres (Sustainability) entered Pisces (Cleaning Up Emotional Baggage), so it will be nice to have Sustainable Emotions for once, since like the Moon Emotions don’t Stand Still for anybody for long. Except that Sustainable Emotions is an Oxymoron.

Trying to Sustain Emotions by Damping them is a lot like stepping on a Water Balloon. Trying to Sustain Emotions by Expressing them as they Arise works, but you’ll probably need Heroic friends. We’ve been trying to Sustain Emotions by “Holding” them since forever, and like trying to sew our Sphincter shut, what that buys us is Karmic and seemingly Permanent Limitations, where we’d Rather Die than Feel that again. Ultimately, we only have one Choice. To Embrace All of our Emotions, even – nay, Especially – the ones we’d Rather Die than Feel.

Fortunately, Emotions don’t exist in a Vacuum. We’re programmed to think of them as distinct from Thoughts, Physical Sensations, and Spiritual Adventures, but they definitely are Not. So one way to make our Emotions Sustainable is to train ourselves to Coordinate them with our Mental, Physical, and Spiritual Processes. We can Ask ourself where a Difficult Emotion sits in our Body, and be Loving and Gentle (Soft and Warm) with its Physical Echo there. We can train ourself to Recognize the Difference between Thoughts and Emotions, and short-circuit the Vicious Spiral that they Enjoy when Dancing together.

Try this on… Emotions exist outside of the rules of Cause and Effect.

We never Feel such-and-such Because of anything. We just Feel Emotions, the way we Feel the Wind. It’s impossible to Think our way out of an Emotion, and trying to do so will only make us Feel “worse.” Guaranteed.

It does help to Identify them, as in “I Feel Angry.” But “I Feel Angry about…” and “I Feel Angry at…” are always Bullshit, simply because we spend so little time in the Present Moment that we almost always have no idea whether our Emotions have Arisen as a result of some Recent Experience, or because the Recent Past Reminded us in some vague way of some Experience we had 47 Lifetimes ago, or some Experience that our Great Grandmother had in her Youth. She doesn’t even need to ever have told you about it – it’s encoded in your Genes.

Our Best Bet for making our Emotions Sustainable is probably to Cultivate Curiosity about them. “Isn’t that Curious – I seem to be Feeling Angry.” Then you can Ask Where and How you Experience that in your Body. You can be Curious about that. You can be Curious about what preceded your Emotion, but if you do, you’ll also have to be Curious about how Difficult it is to Avoid trying to Attribute Cause or Blame for your Emotions. Better yet, consider Curious to be an Emotion, and Avoid Thinking about Why you’re Curious. “Why” is a Poison Question, because it sticks you in your “Left Brain” and shuts down your Intuition and your Instincts, your two Best Guides.

That’s a tall order, and everyone around you will think you’re Really Weird. So Be it. Ceres will be in Pisces till late February. This isn’t new; Ceres entered Pisces in late April, but then turned Retrograde and backed into Aquarius in late September. Think about how much of our Life we all Wasted on Why between May 1 and October 1. Imagine what it would have been like if nobody had Bothered to get tied up in Blame during that time. Imagine thousands of people just Looking at the cops, instead of Shouting at them. Or at the boneheads.

It Is What It Is.

It’s not What It Is Because of anything. Hupers don’t have the bandwidth to get beyond that, so it’s counterproductive to even try. The rest is just Mental Masturbation. You’d have more Fun, better Health, and more time to actually Enjoy Life, with a different kind of Masturbation, even if you do go blind.

That was yesterday.

On 10 November (4pm PST), asteroid Eurydike (Trust) also Changed Signs, moving into Leo (Confidence). Since late July, we’ve been Trusting our Compassion. Well, at least those of us who are able to Feel Compassion have been Trusting it. Now we’ll be Trusting our Confidence instead, though if we’re in the Habit of Doubt, that’s what we’ll be Trusting. Doubt is Crippling, but it’s the flip side of Confidence. Of course, with Ceres in Pisces, we won’t be thinking about what we’re Confident or Doubting about, Right?

This won’t last long, as Eurydike turns Retrograde 18 November (1am PST) and revisits Cancer on 25 November (8am PST), till the end of May. The 18 November Eurydike Station is our next Station, so we can count on wrestling with our Doubt till then. But let’s talk about that in the next post.
