Choosing Life or Despair II

As we mentioned in the earlier post, till 10pm today (2 November 2019) we shouldn’t be Surprised to find ourself Confused over how to Act to Protect our Self-Sovereignty.  We could well be up against an Ancient Habit to do otherwise – or to Wall ourself off too much.  My First Teacher used to say that if we’re Operating from a place of Love, we can Trust “the three Es” – we’re Energized, Excited, and Never Have to Explain Ourself.  Is there someone we Feel the Need to Explain Ourself to?  Or someone whom we want to think well of us, and we’re thinking that if we Explained Ourself it would help?

Asteroid Karma (Ancient Habits, possibly Self-Sabotaging) is Stationary (Strong) in Pisces (Letting Go of Emotional Baggage) at the focus of T-Square (Big Challenge), and Conjunct Lilith (Codependence/Self-Sovereignty) and Neptune (Material Confusion/Spiritual Clarity).  The T-Square springs from the Opposition between dwarf planet Asbolus (Intuition) and asteroid Bee-Zed (Transformation). 

We probably Intuitively Know how to Transform the Karma that’s Lit Up, but Choosing that Option is likely to be Difficult.  The situation may be Confounded by a strong internal Urge to Honor a Tradition from our Family of Origin or other Childhood Source that we Know is actually Prejudicial, and to do so would make us Doubt our own Commitment to Fairness.  We’re likely to be keenly Aware of the Downsides of either course of Action, and Uncertain of the Benefits.

Meanwhile Mars (Action) Squares (Challenges) a very complex combination of the Moon (our Instincts), Pluto (Compulsion, Transformation/Trance-Formation), dwarf planet Chariklo (Self-Confidence/Self-Doubt), and asteroid Hopi (Respect for All Things).  Here’s the chart…

Well, that’s all in the realm of Either/Or, isn’t it.  That’s about Politics, but if we Desire Integrity and Clarity, Politics is the wrong Direction.  We Confront an Either/Or by moving to Both/And.  When Either/Or has us over a barrel, though, Both/And seems way out of reach.  So we have to Invoke a Higher Power, and we all “have” one.  One quick way to get there is through what we call “PIAVA,” Prayer, Intention, Affirmation, Visualization, Asking, and several other silent letters like Wondering, Expanding, Commanding, among others.

We’re moving to the Quincunx (green line) between Mars and Karma, as the Key to the “Tricolor” Configuration of Asbolus Square (red line=Tension) Karma Quincunx (green=Curiosity) Mars Trine Asbolus (blue=Grace).  Addressing the Tension using Curiosity Liberates the Grace. 

Curiosity means we don’t know the Answer to an Either/Or question, and rather than Researching which to Choose, we Open ourself to Receiving a Higher Perspective that we don’t currently have.  “Beginner’s Mind” as the Buddhists call it.  We can do that with a Question-like Statement that’s not a Question, such as…

“I Wonder how I might Retain my Integrity yet Communicate Forthrightly, Honestly, and Clearly to everyone in this Conundrum.”

Then we have to “Change the Subject” – put our Full Attention Elsewhere.  If we continue to think about the Conundrum, we’ll freeze ourself in our usual Either/Or dilemma.  If that’s Difficult, we can try saying to ourself, “You Poor Sweetheart, you’re feeling Stuck, aren’t you.”  When our nose is deep in the Perceived Problem, we can’t see outside of it to Recognize Positive Alternatives.  So we Change the Subject, and Wait for our Intuition to provide us with New Perspectives.
