Ends and Means III

We Forgot to mention that the Balsamic Moon signifies whatever Endings are necessary to Make Space for the New Beginnings that are about to be proposed by the New Moon that follows it.  It’s about Getting Ready to Become.  It symbolizes the Void – Clearing ourself so our Vessel is Empty for the New Energy to pour into us.

For a Scorpio New Moon, it’s about Clarifying our Libran Relationships.  It’s about us and Other.  For the Xenophobes, it’s about failing to Own the Mirror and attempting to Banish Other.  As Rinpoche Pogo averred fifty years ago, this never actually works.  The Moon will leave Libra at 8pm EST, just as voting on the US East Coast finishes up.

Not sure whether Walt meant “us” or “U.S.”

The New Moon’s Midpoint of Scorpio is associated with the great Star Antares, and its Downfall of Obsession with Means rather than Ends, by our Cultural History rather than by astronomy.  Antares has actually moved on to 10 Sagittarius in our Era.  Mercury (Awareness), Hopi (Respect for All Things), and Atropos (Endings) are in or near 10 Sagittarius, so the days of Obsession with Racial “Purity” may be numbered.

The Balsamic phase of the Moon always has the concave side of the crescent to the right and the convex side to the left, like a “C.”  In the Crescent phase, which occurs a few days after the New Moon, the concave side is always to the left, like a “D.”  The Balsamic Moon doesn’t always lie on Her back like that – compare it to July’s Balsamic Moon at https://astrobuss.wordpress.com/2018/07/08/quantum-jump-4/.

I also neglected to mention in the last post that in addition to Uranus and Jupiter, the Nodes are also Changing Signs.  As much weight as we lend to the Nodes, this is an important Transition.  Because she does a far better job than I would, I’ll let Stephanie Austin interpret this new Province in Time for us…

November 6, the Lunar Nodes shift from Leo-Aquarius to Cancer-Capricorn, where they remain for the next 18 months, emphasizing the need to deepen our connection with our emotions, with all our relations, and with the divine feminine.

“The North Node symbolizes our spiritual frontier; an area which is often quite challenging, but also extremely growthful; the South Node represents karmic patterns and core beliefs which hold us back.

“The Lunar Nodes are where the Moon crosses the ecliptic (the path of the Earth around the Sun), symbolizing the interrelationship between the Sun (Spirit), Moon (Soul) and Earth (Matter).

“Besides encoding a tremendous amount of information about our spiritual journey, both personally and collectively, the zodiacal position of the Lunar Nodes also determines the archetypal impact of solar and lunar eclipses.”

This nodal shift urges us to evolve towards the positive expressions of Cancer, which represents the feminine, yin, receptive principle – that which nurtures and protects life.  Cancer is also concerned with feelings, food, and family; becoming emotionally literate and empathic, able to discern what is healthy and what it toxic, and having a sense of roots, of belonging, and an inseparable bond with Mother Earth.

“The transiting South Node in Capricorn urges us to release the negative expressions of that sign – the avoidance of responsibility, blind obedience to tradition, and the misuse of authority, power, and resources.

“The Lunar Nodes… will be in Cancer-Capricorn until May 2020; the last time was October 1998 to April 2000.  What was important for you during that period?  What are you being drawn towards now?

2020 is also the Beginning of the Digital Age in earnest, with its threat that the only jobs left will be Mogul, Engineer, Coder, Server, and Call-Center Operator, if there any of those haven’t been roboticized yet.  And 2020 is when the Moon begins its ten-year Out of Bounds Cycle, which tends to make folks more Emotional and more Easily Manipulated by the Power-Mongers and Fear-Mongers.  The last time the Moon began its Out of Bounds Cycle was September 11, 2001.  Remember September 11, 2001?

Stephanie continues…

This new moon falls on the midpoint between the last equinox and the next solstice.  To the ancient Celts and modern pagans, this is Samhain, where the veils between the worlds are thinnest, facilitating communication with both human and nature spirits.  It marks a time to go within, seek guidance from our ancestors, and reflect on the never ending cycle of death and rebirth.

“This new moon, and all the other alignments described above remind us that: ‘Civilization may be unraveling in a lot of areas; some of its structures may be collapsing; but it is also in the midst of a tremendous upheaval of creativity – a flood of innovation and genius and love pouring out of millions upon millions of people – a Great Awakening that is far louder and stronger and more interesting than the sleepy resignation and corrosive maliciousness and ignominious decline that the media loves to obsess on’ — Rob Brezsny.”

Of course our own natal Nodes, primary indicators of our own Lifetime Mission and Held Emotions/Hidden Skills, are fixed by our birth.  It’s the contemporary “True” Node that Changes Sign on 6 November (10am PST); the “Mean” Node, which is the one we usually use here in Astrobuss, moves into Cancer on 15 November (5:30 pm PST).  The Mean Node is always Retrograde; the True Node can be either Retrograde or Direct.

The True Node zigs and zags a lot, so many folks smooth it’s path into a “Mean” location.  Mean as in average, not sadistic, though the South Node’s Self-Sabotage and In-Your-Face tendencies can feel Abusive at times.  But the South Node’s Motive is to Teach, not torture.  It only tortures when we refuse to Own our Held Emotions.  If we Feel tortured by our South Node, we need to take the Rebel chip off our shoulder and Listen Up.  It’s our own Habits that are being Lit Up.

What’s the Difference between the True Node and the Mean?  Most sources don’t bother to tell us which one they’re using.  Since they’re never more than 2 Degrees apart, it doesn’t usually matter a lot.  When I read the Sabian Symbols for my own natal Nodes, both Symbols, though quite Different, make sense.  However, this means that True and Mean Nodes can be in Different Signs, which may cause Disharmony because in 3D, adjacent Signs are always in Reaction to one another.

Just as an example, the True Node will be in Cancer, but the Mean Node still in Leo, between 10am PST on 6 November and 5pm PST on 15 November.  Will the US election results be in limbo during that time?  I’ve never explored this Difference in Node types, so I have no idea.  But considering the Big Transition we’re in, the Desperation of the laggard Fear-Mongers, and the gilded and forked tongue of the Antichrist and His goons, I wouldn’t be Surprised.

If we use the notion from the previous post that…

“5D is about Directing our Imagination toward What We Want to Co-Create, and then Letting it Happen.  What actually happens Teaches us about what we still have to Learn.”

Or, as Dan Scranton’s Arcturian friends put it…

https://danielscranton.com/mastery-over-the-physical-%e2%88%9ethe-9th-dimensional-arcturian-council-2/

If you want to change your experience of reality, you can do that much more quickly than you can change reality.  If you want to receive something that you’ve been asking for, you will be able to access it energetically before you will be able to access it physically.

When you can be at peace with the process and the unfolding, that means you have mastered the physical reality.  Mastery over the physical reality doesn’t come because you have figured out how to instantly manifest what you desire.  Mastery comes when you are so certain that what you desire is on its way to you that you bask in the present moment and in the energy that you do have access to.

Then this may be a good test of how far the budding but still-Hidden Enlightenment has progressed in the USofA.  Except at the Beginning when the Heralds are trumpeting the news from the Towers, New Energies always Hide until there’s enough Inertia that it’s Safe for them to come out of the closet.  We’ll get to see how long it takes for the visible US to move into “that which nurtures and protects life.”

You can investigate your own natal True and Mean Nodes, or day-by-day Changes, by entering “true node, mean node” in the “Comma-Delimited List of Names” field, and typing in the relevant date and time ranges, at http://www.true-node.com/eph1/.  Remember to convert your times to “UT.”   You can find the difference between your local time and UT at https://time.is/UTC.
