21.5.16 Full Moon

The Full Moon is bang on Mars, and the Opposing Sun Conjoins Vesta.

Keep an eye out over the next several weeks for anything that makes you Angry.  It’s a doorway into Letting Go of a Limiting Belief.

The Full Moon is Squared by a Stationary OR10, which Conjoins Pallas and Nessus.  Nessus Initiates Pallas on 26 May at 6 Pisces, “A parade of army officers in full dress.”  Stationary Orcus, which turns Direct on 19 May, completes the Grand Cross, though it’s five Degrees off the Full Moon.  Orcus Opposes Nessus by less than a Degree.

One of the things likely to Anger you is War, or any other form of Abuse or Privilege.  The key is to connect with your own historical or Past-Life experiences of War or Abuse – they’re likely to be “in your face,” even if you don’t recognize them as yours.  Whatever you encounter – in your own Emotional bank, in movies, in the news, in other people – pretend that the experience was yours.

You made an Oath never to do that again over your own equivalent of that experience.  The Oath still Limits your current Life, in ways you may not suspect.  Be Loving and Gentle with yourself, but Let Go of that Oath.  You can “Revert!” (taking an Oath is really the equivalent of putting a Curse on yourself), Tap it Out, or just Ask Ganeshi to Lovingly and Gently Remove All Obstacles between you and Letting Go of the Oath, whatever it was (you don’t need to know the details; it’s enough to know that you have upsetting memories).

Sun-Vesta is the focus of a Finger of God from the Sextile between Juno-Lilith and Lachesis-Hylonome.

There is a Limit to Grief, and its beginning is reached by resolving to Let Go of the Archetype that binds us to Grief.  How many times in our Karmic history has War or other Violence taken our Soulmate, or our Children, or our Land from us?  Random Chance would probably “gift” us with this experience in more than half of our Lifetimes as Hupers.

Looking back, we might find that we Cherish those as our “lucky” Lifetimes, when we were able to Enjoy Love or Family or Independence, at least till we lost it.  How many other Lives brought us none of those satisfactions?  We forget that Change comes to All things, good or bad, and we Vow not to Experience those Emotions ever again.  In vain; we can’t abandon Any Emotion without squeezing all of the others.  Each episode is an invitation to Take Our Power back.  We’re being Asked here to re-establish our Self-Sovereignty.

Makemake makes a Trine Bridge across the Full-Moon Opposition, forming a Sun/Vesta-Square-OR10-Quincunx-Makemake-Trine-Sun/Vesta Major Tricolor and a Moon/Mars-Square-OR10-Quincunx-Makemake-Sextile-Moon/Mars Minor Tricolor.

Permaculture looks beyond Sustainability towards Resilience – the ability to meet any Crisis with multiple Responses.  Our greatest tool for increasing Resilience is Curiosity.  “I Wonder how I can make Lemonade out of these Emotional intrusions.”  Don’t forget to Change the Subject; you want to get the mind and its YesButs and ThatWon’tWorks onto some other issue, so your natural Survival Instincts and Brilliant Intuitions have an Open Space to rise into.

Uranus inches ever closer to Eris; they’re now just over half a Degree apart.  Closely related, by Degrees, are Chiron (Unx), Sedna’s recent Initiation of Venus (Unx), Chaos’s impending Initiation of asteroid Karma (Sextile), Ixion (Trine), and Haumea (Opposition).

The Sedna-Venus Initiation occurs the day before the Full Moon, in 26 Taurus, “A Spanish galant serenades his beloved.”  The Chaos-Karma Initiation occurs 24 May, in 21 Gemini, “A tumultuous labor demonstration.”

Whatever is happening in our Young Lives – and I know some of us are enduring torment – it’s roots probably lie in the Masks we retain.  There are still things we admit to no one, and still things we don’t admit to ourself.  No one is proposing that we expose ourselves to Shame, but it would behoove to Ask what triggers Shame for us, then Lovingly Embrace it.  We’ll never get to the bottom of these puzzles without Curiosity and Intuition – if we could get there by other means, we would have done so long ago.

For some of us, Matter is bottom-line, for others of us, Energy.  Our Perspective on Life and Difficulty depends a lot on this Duality.  But it’s not Either/Or, it’s Both/And.  Spirit, Matter, Mind, Emotion, Soul – these aren’t discrete “levels” or compartments of Reality, they’re Perspectives on Reality.  Reality itself is Unitary and Multifarious.  There is Power in shifting Perspective.

If you’re struggling with a Physical issue, try Asking the Universe to show you pictures of it in the languages of Emotion, Thought, Spirit, and/or Soul.  If you’re struggling with an Emotional issue, try Asking the Universe to show you pictures of it in the languages of Soul, Spirit, Thought, and Body.  If you’re in the middle of a Spiritual Crisis, Ask to be shown what it looks like from the Emotional or Physical point of view.

If the result is Confusion, you’ve arrived.  Your only task is to sit with the Confusion, without trying to “fix” it by seeking Certainty.  Certainty is a method, not a result.  You Ask, “What if I did Know?” when you’re stuck in Duality.  Then you examine the consequences of that Knowing.  But you don’t want to assume you have the “right” answer – the Universe is much too complex for that.  We might move in the “right” direction for a little while, but I guarantee that soon enough this direction will lead us astray.

Pluto Trine-Bridges the Nodes, and Jupiter makes a Waning Square to Saturn as Jupiter prepares to Initiate the North Node at the end of June.  The Can-Opener of the Jupiter-Saturn Waning Square occurred in early August of last year; this one (exact 26 May) is an Exposition.  This Waning Jupiter-Saturn Square marks the final Swan Song of the Industrial Age.  Expect economic malaise until the Digital Age reboots in 2020.

Even though it’s not pleasant, Trust that we’re moving in the direction we need to go.  Resilience will be particularly important for the next four years, and Trusting our own Truth increases Resilience markedly.
